I challenged myself to this project. I normally paint animals and wildlife and have a tiny bit of comfort zone there! But, after seeing other student's absolutely beautiful work on this clematis I decided to give a try.

First off, Krzysztof is an excellent teacher and artist. He is a masterful artist, and teaches in a very explanatory, patient way! I used DS watercolor and Arches.

This was my attempt, and it was a challenge for me. Most of my previous projects have been "wet on wet". This project is more wet on dry, and I need some help on the technique to develop more smoothness, less watermarks, and not lifting off previous underlayment. This project was an excellent learning experience but I could use some pointers and practice on the layering wet on dry technique. 

I really enjoyed this class and glad I challenged myself. It definitely alerted me to areas I need to practice on.

Highly recommend Krzysztof as a teacher!
