Beautiful Atmospheric Landscape

I haven't had much time to take classes lately, but I'm glad that I chose this one first! Thank you, Maria. With your guidance, the class was easy to follow and well explained. I often find it amusing that I have an unconventional approach to achieving the final result, as my wet-on-wet technique rarely goes as planned. It's always a challenge, but the effort is definitely worth it!

I didn't use the suggested colors; instead, I opted for Yellow Ochre, Quinacridone Gold, Burnt Sienna, Burnt Umber, Transparent Orange, Cerulean, Ultramarine, Cobalt Blue, Lavender, and Payne's Grey to achieve a little of spring going into fall!  I did use the Saunders Waterford 100% cotton paper since I had it on hand, although I normally don't choose it because it has some minor flaws. Fortunately, this time the flaws occurred in areas that didn't matter much. I so enjoyed your guidance on painting the sun. You took the time to show how often you paint around it to keep it flowing as it dries.

I had a wonderful day painting, and your calm guidance led us down a beautiful path to success. Thank you, Maria!
