I used a picture I found online then just sketched it on to the Aida cloth with pencil. Next time I try tho, I will use a Wash-Out Marker for fabric. Since the pencil you can still see close up. 

The class was very helpful about how to do it and can’t wait to do more backstiching projects!!!!
