Part 2 of my photography attempt with the Av Mode on my DSLR are below.

I went out to Mapleton and saw this moss growing on a gum tree, so I took this photo in Av mode. Unfortunately, I'm not sure what the number of the setting was. I was trying to get the moss nice and clear and the background blurred.

Here is the second shot with the Av adjusted to make the moss blurry and the bark behind it sharper.

The above portrait of my cat, Miss Poppy, was done on a Cannon DSLR, Av mode with a setting of 3.5 and 200 ISO.

The above photo of my best friend, Edward and my poodle, Rocket, was taken with my Cannon DSLR Av mode, setting 3.5 with an ISO of 400.

It's great to take a photo of Rocket and actually be able to see his face. Most of my photos of Rocket look like a black shadow but here, you can see his eyes and nose too.

I tried to apply some of the concepts of composition to these images too.

This is my first go at using the Av mode on our Cannon DSLR. I took heaps of photos to get these two images. I will need to do the other aspects of the project, but I was so happy with learning how to use the Av mode, I wanted to put these up as my project for feedback.

Here is my first attempt at using the Tv mode on my Canon DSLR to capture fast moving water.

I really like the way the water splashes up at the front of the photo and the water at the rear of the photo is blurred.
