I decided to use objects inside and outside my house. Since I live in a rural area without tall buildings and it is very cold outside right now I feel that I can complete most of the assignments using what is at hand. I enjoyed this class. It is the best class I have taken on photography in Skillshare.

 

This is my photo for simplicity. I call it, Sweeping the Basement Floor. I like the colors and the V formation made by the dust pan, the brush and the broom.

 

I'm using this photo as my viewpoint picture. I also think it has leading lines that lead the eye to the broom handle.

 

This is leading lines. The lines of the rug and the molding along the floor bring you into the room.

 

This is a picture I am using in a series of the four seasons. This was taken at sunrise.

 

This photo was taken at the edge of my house. I like the lines made by the intersection of the logs and the diagonal lines of the shadows.

I'm submitting this picture for the shapes and curves assignment.

I took this for my husband who is a Marine. This is my staged prop picture.

I think this one fits the categories of self-portrait and pattern.
