Wow Carmen! You created such a variety of fun characters. The colors are perfect.

Ohhh these pages are so expressive and fun Carmen! I love how you worked around your paint blot, in those subtle marks. They are as loose and intuitive like the ones in Frida's diary!  Thank you for your sweet review. Honestly, my thought process is very dependent on this way of working. It's easier for me to interpret these shapes than to actually come up with something to paint. I'm so excited you ordered her diary as well! It's a treasure trove of inspiration.

I know what you mean Carmen. But you did it. I have so many ideas spinning in my head at the moment haha.

It can be a bit disorienting outside of that comfort zone, huh? But I'm so glad the ideas are spinning, that's the thing I wanted for you!  Something that can help you relax is to put on your favourite music. Just hum or sing along and get lost in the process. It will distract that inner critic for a bit. 😉

I am not sure if I will do more on this but I am amazed how I could find caricatures in the random marks. I used some kind of paint and a water color marker. Just laying on my couch so very lazy scene.   I did order Frida Khalo diary today!
