I draw and sketch every day in my visual journal. I also draw digital on iPad with Procreate. I’d like to increase awareness of my art that I publish at IG.

I followed Sean’s advise and used a popular piece of music and a reel. I found it challenging to cut my own video over that music - hitting the beats exactly. But I persevered and my reel got 800 views - the power of the popular.

I created a few more reels, experimenting with trending Instagram music, but that didn’t get as many views. I’ll be returning to popular reels again.

I’m pretty happy with the way my first few Reels views are trending - upwards!

A few days later and more published Reels. First thing I notice is what a hodgepodge of visuals. I’m having fun. But might have to channel my creative urge into a focused ‘look’.
