Creating Brand Systems: An Overview of Combining Logos and Type

I really like the overall logo. I especially like the amount of blue in contrast thin line weight of the “ARCA”. My only criticism would be the “R”, while I see it was made wider to match the width of the other letters my eye really gets drawn to the negative space. Can you tell us a little more about the company?

The company is an architect team. They design high-end buildings. They focus on precision and good taste. Their work is truly refined. ARCA is the spanish for ark. A shelter that protects something, where valuable goods are saved. The brandmark construction is based on the letter "A", the shape of a house, and a chimeny

I really like the visual aesthetic of the logo, but I had a hard time initially reading the "A" letterforms.  I saw them as tilted "T" letterforms, since the crossbars are angled and no longer read as horizontal crossbars.  I think I would have preferred the crossbars of each "A" to be horizontal OR for the ascenders (which are absent in the letterforms to be perpendicular.  In my mind, this would more aptly read as architectural forms defining space.  On another note, personally, I like the "R" and all its negative space.
