Annie Gee

I love writing poetry but I wanted to try this method and I liked it very much! It worked very well!

Annie Gee

in the outer circles

is a little toy figurine,

ageless comic‑anime,

eternalized somewhere

in an energized adolescence.

Each time she looks more

like the characters she creates:

intense characters

with daring personalities,

to whom she almost gives life.

She paints big eyes,

stylized hair,

almost always short,

framing the face;

sculpted arms,

solid legs,

rounded silhouettes,

bodies more robust

than slender.

Caricatures with a trendy style,

always rebellious and provocative,

defiant,

as if wanting to start an argument

or be ready for war.

What conversations do they want to open,

what points are they trying to defend?

The figures wear tight clothing,

like that of superheroes

or a futuristic, minimalist, sexy world:

thick forms but not coarse,

definitely not slim,

but full‑fleshed.

Also smiling,

with that gesture born of triumph,

of achievement,

and of the intention

to conquer adverse worlds.

Ana looks just like “Shaddy”:

with a clever kitten face,

dressed all in black,

even her hair,

with pointy ears

that look like horns,

or maybe little triangular horns,

and a long tail

with a red tip.

But she also resembles “Bubby,”

with an expression halfway

between innocence and guilt,

dressed almost entirely in white,

with a pink skirt

she gladly lifts

up to her shoulders

in the full blast

of the fan.

From an early age

she showed artistic ability;

her sensitivity

and perceptive capacity

were always evident.

She became passionate about the sea,

memorizing an extensive vocabulary

and varied facts

about marine life.

She read avidly,

wrote letters

with poetic undertones,

learned piano,

and created graphic designs

in response to music.

Videogames first,

and then drawing and painting,

opened a path

for her to build her own universe,

where she could both dialogue

with her inner world

and work tirelessly

to manifest it outward,

with total rebellion

and freedom.

Today, everything fits in Ana.

Ana, Anna Gee,

transforming

in a cycle

of infinite creativity.
