Acrylic Painting Crafts: Kindness Rocks!

Nice to meet you too Brigitte. Thank you for the lovely note. It's so nice to hear that you thought my rocks were happy because that's how they seem to me, so it's great to find out that someone else noticed it too. :) I sort of free-handed the word, wrote it with white charcoal pencil then went over it with a #7 fine liner, or maybe the 1m black Posca pen, can't remember, but those are mu go to. I've found that I love doing the mandala style, love the dots. I have a kit of dot making tools for mandalas and it really came in handy. Plus they are inexpensive on Amazon. Also, a friend told me about a great white acrylic painter pen, I had the Signo white and a few others that kept clogging and never worked properly and finally gave up and threw them away. Anyway, Amazon has a set of 3 black and 2 white acrylic painter pens that are water-based and write on everything. The brand is Flysea FS-055 Acrylic Painter 0.7mm Extra Fine (but they aren't too fine, make a perfect line for me, not too thin or too thick). The six pens cost 5.99. I've been using the white one for a little over 2 months and it still always works great, I think I've found a winner. Again, it's nice to meet you and I look forward to taking more of your classes. Oh, almost forgot, I'm keeping the yellow heart rock for myself, but all the others are going out and about to new homes. it will be fun to put them around and imagine people finding them and hopefully bringing smiles, happiness, spreading kindness to strangers. Hi Christie! I love these! They’re so colorful and happy! I bet you’ll have a very difficult time leaving them for someone else? How did you do the ‘Love’ ly writing — it came out so well? You put a lot of detail in them and they turned out amazing. (Even the way you set up the photo looks great!) Thanks so much for posting your project and you’re right, they are addictive!
