Abstract Watercolor Florals for Wall Art A Calm, Layered Approach

Pamela, I love seeing this. There is such a beautiful sense of movement in all three pieces. Your brushstrokes feel confident and expressive, and the way you layered the stems and leaves gives everything such a natural flow. Each one has its own personality too, which I really enjoy. The colors are bold but still feel balanced, and your compositions feel thoughtful without looking overworked. This is exactly the kind of looseness that people try to achieve, and you’re doing it in a way that still feels intentional and controlled. I’m so glad you enjoyed the process. I can’t wait to see what you create next.

Thank you again.   It makes me have a good think about what colours to put together and how to arrange the flowers a bit better. I did go out and buy a Dagger brush for the second two pieces. They are a bit of fun.

Oh my word! this is stunning! Your colors and the way the flower is placed lets you feel like you are getting to see something only insects get to see. I love this! I really feel the emotion and movement in this one. Great job! See you in the next class! I want to see more of your work!
