Thanks for the feedback! When you say maybe add more of the paint for texture, do you mean a darker color?  Would love to know about how to improve this.  This was my first abstract floral.

a mix of more light and dark shades both. I just mean more paint - like if you see closely , you can almost see the colour of the page  between your petals right now , maybe with more paints in different light and dark shades close to each other , will ad more dimension. 

It is great for a first try ! If and when you try again maybe you can try my suggestion : )
