8 Days of Watercolor Landscape with Rutvik

Hi,

In this class project, I explored the vibrant world of color through a series of paintings, utilizing both poster colors and watercolors. For the first four paintings as well as the practice exercise sheet, I followed the color palette demonstrated in the videos, allowing me to immerse myself in the cohesive aesthetic.

As I progressed, I transitioned to my watercolor set to embrace the unique qualities and fluidity of this medium. Although I typically prefer a different watercolor brush, I decided to experiment with a quill brush, as showcased in the demos. This decision proved to be a delightful challenge, as I navigated the nuances of this new tool.

This practice set not only enhanced my skills but also offered a wealth of insights into color application and brush techniques. It was an enriching experience filled with learning and creativity!

As I view these paintings side by side, the distinction in the pigments becomes evident, yet the underlying painting style remains consistent. Despite using different mediums, all eight artworks feel like they belong to the same artistic family, thanks to intentional selection of a cohesive color palette. This unity not only highlights the unique qualities of each medium but also reinforces the overall harmony of the collection.

I have made something exciting as an add-on to this class. I have combined all the elements in the 8 paintings into one painting. Here it is. Please provide your review on this piece.
