Copywriting 101: Writing a Product Description That Sells

Hi Adam! Thanks so much for submitting a project! The copy looks great. Gadgets (and their related add-ons) can be tricky to write about, because you need to include technical specs while also keeping the tone readable and interesting, and you did an excellent job. Just a couple ideas to consider: <ol><li>I don't think you need to use both bold and italics at the same time for emphasis. I understand that in a description like this, you want to bold the technical features so customers can quickly digest them, but bold on its own will achieve that just fine. </li> <li>When you say "crazy illustrations," I'm not exactly sure what you mean. It certainly sounds intriguing, but I would clarify that a bit. From the image you attached, it looks more like a perspective change than an actual illustration (but I could be totally off), so I would provide a few more specifics just so customers know exactly what they can expect. </li> <li>This might show my age, but I prefer to avoid ampersands in sentences. I think spelling out “and” just looks a little more polished.</li> </ol>And here are just a couple ides to tighten up the wording in your second paragraph: With a clip-on piece that attaches right to your phone, all three lenses stay stacked and secure, allowing you to easily switch between the various modes without worry.  In the third paragraph, be sure your ellipsis is only three dots long, and that there's a space before and after the thoughts it’s connecting. I know that sounds kind of picky, but again, it's just another way to further polish your work.  Finally, rather than saying "so you and your friends can take turns doing wacky things," maybe tie that thought back to the product features with something like: So you and your friends can take turns transforming your images into art.
