This is my third time spinning (only had my spinning wheel just over a week), and trying to spin thinner. It's the drafting that gets me, plus a spinning wheel always wanting to go the opposite direction to what I want (it's an old spinner) but I am getting there! Better than first two attempts which are like soft corded rope. Still, I was feeling inspired to push the boundaries a bit. I have a ton of Alpaca and after dying it with food colouring seeing how pretty it was, decided to blend it with a bit of wool stash. I really wanted to see if I could produce something nice. I spun 19 metres of 2 ply. Got a long way to go but happy this lesson helped me learn how to spin a bit better.
