1. intro: And welcome to the first video of my Skillshare series in which I will be teaching you how to change your passion into alucrative business. In this course, I will teach you how to set up your YouTube channel for success and ensure that you will not only start building an audience, but also a community that will later change into clients. We will go through the fundamentals that are often overlooked. Things such as how to catch the attention, how to make people click, and how to want them to get more. We'll also give you a lot of action points. So a lot of staff comes from you, so don't worry if the course seems to be a little bit short. It's because there's a lot of things that I want you to do. And for this particular course, you don't really need a studio or fancy equipment or the best equipment out there. If all you have is just your phone, that's absolutely okay because you don't need any type of of fancy equipment to actually start building your audience and changing it into a lucrative business. I know it because I became a full time YouTube with as little as 10,000 subscribers. I know some creators that have 100,000 subscribers and still cannot say the same. In this course, we will go for the most important fundamentals as well as the lessons that will help you grow. Are you ready? Let's take your YouTube to the next level. Let's go. 2. Monetisation threshold: Why does 1,000 subscribers matter that much? You may be aware that the old monetization threshold has been 1,000 subscribers and 4,000 watch time hours. Now, the new threshold is actually 500 subscribers and 3,000 watch hours. But to be perfectly fair, I kind of think that it's harder to get this watch time rather than subscribers. So this is something that we will discuss a little bit later. I mean, 1,000 is just this nice milestone moment, isn't it? Now, the monetization allows you to end money through ad sens, get superfans, super chats, get your merchandise on the page, and it just looks so good. It looks like you know what you are doing. You are more prompt to watch someone who has more subscribers or more views on their videos, do you? Now, we do need to remember that it seems that getting to this 1,000 subscribers is extremely hard because when you start putting all of your soul and heart and hard and cash into creating those videos, it seems like no one really cares. Now, this is something that I have heard from my students during our coaching sessions and through many the ends on socials. And I totally understand it. I've been going through it twice because I have two pretty successful and monetized channels on YouTube. My coaching students often struggle with the same issues, getting the views, getting subscribers, making things possible and getting the brand deals that actually pay. And while I cannot really promise you that after going through this course, you will gain 1,000 subscribers because a lot of it is actually dependent on you, I can assure you that once you go through it, you will lend a lot of things that are necessary to keep things going. And I have a couple of free gifts for you at the end of this course, so be sure to go through the entire thing, and I will also tell you about the coaching and the free introductory call at the end of this course. So if you are ready, let's get it. 3. Module 1 The Foundation: This is Module one lane the foundations. Every great thing has a really solid foundation. You wouldn't want to live in a house that's just standing on one pole because that doesn't really seem to be safe. The same goes to your business to your YouTube channel to your Instagram or to whatever else you want to start. You need to have a solid foundation. So if something crumbles, it still kind of is there, and you have something to work with. In this module, we will discuss what it takes to change from the casual content creator into a business and a serious content creator type of thing. Or if you're an influencer, changing from an influencer into a content creator. To set up your YouTube channel for success and the initial steps towards developing a winning content strategy. Are you ready to lay the groundwork for your greatest achievement on YouTube? Let's go. Grab a pen and notebook. Making a leap to become a professional content creator starts with your mindset. It's about senior YouTube channel not as a hobby, but as a business. This means being consistent at the standing your audience and continuously learning and improving. But most importantly, It's about passion. Your passion to the content you create is the fuel that will drive your channel forward. Ask yourself, Am I ready to commit to this journey? And if the answer is yes, then you've already taken the first step. Also, remember, if you are starting YouTube just for the money, you are bound to fail because YouTube is a long ball thing. It takes a lot of time, a lot of money, a lot of passion, and a lot of work. So in this moment, I want you to grab pen and paper and list ten things that you are really good at that people ask you to do for them or explain to them. Things that you are good at, okay? Then take another piece of paper and write down ten things that you really, really enjoy. Things that you just find pleasure in. And then take a third piece of paper and write down ten things that you think people society, the world needs right now. And you can go crazy. And take your time. You can stop this video, do whatever you want. It will take time to just think about all of those things. Now, if there's a thing that shows up in all of the free lists, you may be getting your topic there. A well organized channel helps your audience find your content and understand what you're all about. Let's talk about essential. Look at your own channel. Does it look like the one on the left or on the right. Remember that YouTube is not really a social media platform. It's more like a search engine just with pictures and videos. Think of how you are searching for the videos on YouTube. Do you search by keywords or do you just scroll mindlessly until the end of time? This is one of the points that often speaks to my students during coaching. So I decided it's an important point to take. Next on, playlists. These are crucial for organizing your videos into categories, and don't forget your channel branding. This includes your logo, banner, and color shem, all of which should reflect the personality and content. Why? Because if someone sees you a couple of times, they may decide, I saw this person before, and I watched a couple of videos from them. I'll subscribe. Branding is important because you want to stay in someone's brain, and your channel is supposed to give an audience the context of what they can see on your channel, what they can expect. Now, this is the action step. Go to your own YouTube channel and review your channel's current setup. Update your description, organize existing videos into playlists and ensure your branding is consistent and reflects your channel's identity. With a professional mindset and polished channel setup, it's time to plan your content. Your content style is what differentiates you from the rest. Finding it is a journey of creative exploration. Do you want to create reviews, lifestyle content, travel content, or a mix of things to keep people entertained. Remember that while most topics can be mixed up with lifestyle, I wouldn't really recommend mixing things too much. If you make a cooking channel, don't mix it with finishing tutorials. Now, consistency is a key to growth on YouTube, but remember, quality should always come before quantity. Consistent content doesn't have to mean daily videos. It can mean one video a week, bi weekly, or even monthly? Treat your audience as your friends? You have a date on a specific time. Don't miss it. Now, here's an action set for you. If you already have content, check your YouTube analytics and check which videos performed well on your channel and try to make notes and compare them. What made them different than the other videos? What got them so much interest? Experiment with different content types to find what best suits your style and engage with your audience. If you don't have a channel, simply start with experimenting. Then create a content calendar for the next month. This will serve you as a roadmap to consistent quality content creation. If you need help in those comparisons and need more information, there's a couple of tools that I'll mention a bit later in this lesson. In this module, you've laid the groundwork for your YouTube adventure. You understand what it means to be professional content creator. You optimize your channel for success and you're ready to embark on the path of creative content creation. Remember, the foundation that you build is just the beginning. In the next module, we'll dive deeper into content creation Mistry, helping you captivate your audience right from the first view. Action step, checklist for your channel setup in initial content planning. 4. Module 2 Content Creation Maestry: Module two, content creation Mastery. Developing your content style and calendar, how to find your unique voice and plan your content strategy. In this section, we will focus on mastering the art of content creation. I'm excited to guide you through finding your unique content style, planning your videos with an effective content calendar and sharing editing tips to make your videos irresistible, right from the first 30 seconds. Every successful YouTube creator has a unique content style that resonates with their audience. Finding their style involves experimenting with different content types and paying attention to what your viewers love most. Ask yourself, what am I passionate about? What can I offer that others can't? Once you nailed down their style, it's time to plan your content. A content calendar is your best friend here. It keeps you organized consistent and ahead of the game. Remember, consistency is key on YouTube, but quality should never be compromised. Now, here's an action step for Start by Brainstorm in a list of video ideas that align with your discovered style, or just brainstorm any type of ideas that you may have for your channel if you don't have a channel yet. Then organize those ideas into content calendar, planning at least one month in advance. Toss like Google Clenda, Trello, or Notion are incredibly helpful when you are looking for like Free solutions. I'm personally using content Studio when it goes to Instagram and notion when it goes to both Instagram and YouTube actually, but just as something visual for me to see what's going on. Go to leave you the link to the content studio and notion and the course notes, but you can also copy the link from the screen. The act of editing and captivating first 3 seconds, techniques to keep your viewers engaged from the start. Editing your videos is where your creativity truly shines. Remember the first 30 seconds of your video are crucial for capturing the audience attention. Start with a hook, ask a compelling question, review the exciting outcome of the video, or share a shock in fact. How many times did you watch a video that started with a drone on the ground or something that was just boring and made you click out? Exactly. Look at your competitors content and see where they work well. This is your chance to convince viewers to stick around. Then, as you edit, keep your content dynamic and engaging. Use different camera angles add music or sound effects, and don't shy away from trimming content that does not value. Your goal is to keep your viewers engaged from start to finish. Personally find the videos with people talking without music creepy. Therefore, all of my talking head and educational videos always have some background music. I am personally using epidemic sound and if you want to give it try for free, I'm leaving you an affiliate link in the course notes. This is a full month of free trial, so you are not losing anything on it. Now, here's an action step Your next video, draft and engage in opening line or a question that aligns with the videos content. During editing, challenge yourself to cut any parts that might lose viewers interest. Remember, less is often more. Here's a short recap. Remember your unique style is what sets you apart on YouTube. Embrace it. Plan your content truthfully with a content calendar and always aim to captivate your audience within the first 30 seconds of the video. These steps are stepping stones, not just to reach your first 1,000 subscribers, but to build in a community that eagerly awaits your content. You need them to stick around. 5. Module 3 Growing Your Audience: Free, growing your audience. But growing your audience is not only a good video in captive 18/32. We all wish it was like so, and yet here we are. So let's discuss strategies that are crucial for increasing your visibility and subscribe accounts on YouTube. From SEO tips that put your videos in front of the right eyes to creating fu nails that scream click. Y, there's a lot to cover, but I'm sure you're ready. SEO essentials for YouTube. Key strategies for optimizing your videos to rank higher in search results. Let's start with the SEO or search engine optimization. As I said, YouTube needs to be treated like a search engine, so we will make sure our content is optimized to fit this idea. Understanding YouTube's algorithm and optimizing your videos accordingly, can significantly boost the visibility. Key elements include using relevant keywords in our titles, descriptions, and tax, but SCO doesn't stop there. Courage in view engagement through likes, comments, and shares also plays a vital role. Remember, the more engagement your video gets, the higher YouTube ranks it. Chen. I want you to use the link that's currently on your screen. It will also be added to the lesson notes and install Tube body extension to your browser. Tube body is a tool that I am using personally with a subscription, but even its free version can help you immensely in searching for the right tax, adjusting your titles and more. Once you have it installed, I want you to conduct keyword research, using it to find terms your target audience searches for. You can do it by going to your competitors channels and looking at their tax or by doing a general research in your topic. Tarbody will help you out in this process. Incorporate these keywords into your next videos title description and text. Creating ye catching thumbnails. Importance of thumbnails and best practices for design. Think of your thumb nail as the cover of your book. It needs to grab attention. A great thumb nail is clear, concise, and tells the story. Use bold colors, readable phones, and relevant imagery to make it stand out. Creating a sense of curiosity can also work wonders for your click through rates. This can also be special for you. Make your fan mail style your branding. And don't shy away from showing your face. During my research, I have noticed that fails with people's faces on them perform around 60% better than the ones without people. And you may ask me, what about Peter MacKinnon's fails, huh? Well, don't compare yourself to people who have an existing fan base and audience. Now, here's an action step for you. For your next video, design a fum nail that embodies those principles. Experiment with different designs and track which ones yield the engagement rates through YouTube studio. Make an AB test with two different fum nails and check which one performed better. You can also use two bodies built in AB fum Nail testing feature, but it's in the paid version of it, but also a recently, YouTube has added the AB testing feature, but it shows you the result a little bit better away in the timeline than Tub Pardy does. And again, the link to the Tube body is down below in the notes. Now, let's get to engagement. Engagement is king of social media in the current DNH. Even though YouTube is a search engine, it also is a social media platform in a way. Many of my students during coaching were shocked that I have instructed them to answer every single comment. But Peter McKinnon doesn't answer every single comment. Yes, but Peter McKinnon has enough of the audience that people actually talk to each other. Do not compare yourself to much bigger channels and focus on what makes you grow. Look at it this way. There is a comment that's a plus one on your video engagement in the algorithm's mind. If you answer, that's a plus two, that's 100% more than it was. And if your comment answers or interacts with your comments again, by even giving it like, that's already 300% more engagement. Now, imagine that you had ten comments, and by answering them all, you give yourself 100% more engagement and open the doors for even more. This pushes your videos in the eyes of the algorithm. Action step, I want you to go to your YouTube dashboard in the tab on the left click comments and answer every single one of them. Okay, but what if the comment is just a nmotic? Well, use a nemoticon, as well. You are now equipped with powerful strategies to grow your audience on YouTube. Remember, success on YouTube is a M N print. Implementing these strategies consistently will not help you only reach the first 1,000 subscribers, but also build a solid foundation and continued growth. But again, getting people to notice you is not all. We want to keep them entertained and engaged, and this means building a community. 6. Module 4 Beyond Content: In this smooth transition. I'm out of T and battering. Module four, beyond content, building a community. By now, you've laid a solid foundation, mastered content creation, and lend strategies to grow your audience. However, having subscribers is just the beginning. What turns a viewer into a lifelong fan and a client is the sense of community they feel with you and the fellow viewers. So in this part of the lesson, I will guide you through fostering a vibrant community and setting realistic, achievable goals for your channel. Let's transform the audience into a community. The most important thing being, engaging with your audience. Strategies for fostering and loyal community and encouraging subscriptions. Building a strong community starts with engagement. It's about creating a two way conversation with your viewers. I have already mentioned comments and replies, but that's not all that comes into the engagement. Acknowledge viewers suggestions and integrate feedback into your content when possible. Acknowledge viewers suggestions and integrate feedback into your content when possible. Ask people throughout polls and through the video what they would like to see or discuss. Make an open Q&A and more. Engagement doesn't only increase loyalty, it also boosts your videos performance throughout high interaction rates. Now here's an action step again for you. Go through your comments under the videos and find some questions and suggestions. In the next video, feature viewers comment on question in your next video to show your audience you are listening, nurturing your community. A thriving community is engaged, supportive and self sustaining. Encourage your viewers to interact with each other, create fun driven content, or even start a hashtag for your community. Hosting live streams, Q&A sessions, or community challenges can also straighten the bond between you and your audience. Now an action step for you again. I know you love me. Thank you very much. I love you too. Plan a live Q&A session or a community challenge for an upcoming month. Use this opportunity to interact with your audience in real time and encourage viewers to view your interactions. If you don't really have much of an audience as of now, you can ask them on a lot of platforms if they have any type of questions, or you can just go to Facebook groups and ask people, Hey, what are the most common questions in your Niche and just answer those things in general. That still looks like there is a community behind it, but you're answering general questions, and you can later share it on those set groups and create more people being interested in the fact that you answered their questions as well. You've now learned the critical importance of building and nurturing a community around your YouTube channel. Remember, the strength of your community is as important as your subscriber account. By fostering genuine connections and setting realistic expectations, you're not just growing your channel, you're creating a meaningful impact. As we move to the final module, you're well on your way not to only reach but surpass the first 1,000 subscribers. 7. Module 5 Promoting Your Channel: Five, promoting your channel. Let's face it. Doing everything right will not always mean a great success. Another thing you'll need to learn is a bit of marketing. You've built a solid foundation, created, engaging content, grown your audience, and bonded with your community. Now it's time to amplify your reach and introduce your channel to even more eager viewers. It's time to equip you with strategic and creative ways to promote your YouTube channel both on and off the platform. Effective social media strategy. If you have Instagram, TikTok, Fred, or whatever else, no one thing. Social media platforms are not just played to share your videos. They are powerful tools for channel promotion. Create engaging sharable content that compliments your YouTube content. Think behind the scenes, highlight all Taser clips. Encourage your followers to share your content, and don't forget to engage with them across these platforms. Consistency and interaction are key to converting your social media followers into YouTube subscribers. Here's an action step for you, identify one or two additional social media platforms that you target audience spends their time in. Craft a plan to post regular, engage in content that drives your followers to your YouTube channel. For me, personally, I stepped with Instagram. I like Fret a little bit, but not that much, but I'm a lot on Linked in oddly enough. Works. Collaborations and cross promotions. Collaborations with other creators can provide a significant boost to your channel visibility. By partnering with other YouTube S, you can tap into their audiences and bring new viewers to your channel. Cross promotions such as guest appearances, shout outs and co created videos are excellent ways to capture the attention of potential subscribers. Now, here's an action step for you, again, reach out to one or two creators in your niche for a collaboration proposal. Consider ways you can offer value to their audience, making the partnership beneficial for the both of you, but don't aim way too high. Try to find friends first. Veragin SCO and YouTube ads. SO is not only about optimizing your videos, it's also about making your channel discoverable. Use relevant keywords in your channel description and video playlist to improve searchability. Now, YouTube has ads, but the time watched and subscribers coming from it are not counted into demonetization process, if you were wondering. What they can be is a strategic move to target potential subscribers. With various add formats available, you can experiment and find what works best for your channel and budget. The side note, I have been actually experimenting with YouTube ads with some of my students, and I will be making a whole YouTube video about it. In the whole course note, you will find a link to my YouTube channel, and I'm going to be putting the video out about this particular topic. Engaging with your community and beyond, never underestimate the power of word of mouth. Encourage your loyal subscribers to share your videos and channel with their friends and family. Additionally, participating in relevant online communities, forums, and groups can help you share expertise and sadly promote your channel to interested viewers. Now, generally, it's not about joining Facebook groups and throwing your videos onto that. It's also about answering the questions that people are asking, generally engaging with people, and maybe somewhere in the comments, explaining something and being like, I'm talking about it more in my YouTube video. But not being like, Hey, I have an answer for your question, it's in my YouTube video, but just explaining something a little bit more and then being like, I actually talk about it more on my YouTube video, and it looks much much better for everyone else's eyes because they don't see you as someone who just came in to advertise your video. And that means there is an action step just right here. The shareable call to action at the end of your next video. Encouraging viewers to share your content. It can be a freebie giveaway or a box of chocolates for one Brandom winner. Identify two online communities related to niche and stat actively participating, offering value without overt surf promotion. 8. Do it Scared: Imagine a life in which you work for yourself on things that you enjoy doing and without anyone to tell you what to do at what time. Sometimes even no meetings. Imagine a life in which you can work from anywhere in the world that fits you best, financially, aesthetically, or whatever else comes to your mind. Traveling from place to place and being able to work from all of them for as long as you have a Wi Fi connection. This is absolutely a dream life of a lot of people, but so many of them think that this is out of reach. As of now in 2024, there are 35 million people live in the digital nomad lifestyle. Really, this lifestyle comes with pros and cons, like absolutely everything in life. But working for yourself, working on your own terms and doing things for yourself may be absolutely life changing. And even if you don't want to travel, you don't have to. It's about the whole idea of doing things for yourself without a boss. So in this video, I'm going to give you a step by step guide that you can follow to potentially work only for yourself on your own terms freely and remotely if you choose to. And this manual does not require you to become a YouTube or a creator. Let's get to the manual then. The key to digital nomad lifestyle. And surprisingly, to make this type of life a reality, you will need money. Now, this may come from two sources. Either you have been lucky enough to be born into money, and you don't really have to watch this video for reasons other than my lovely accent, in which case, thank you very much, or you have to make money while doing the things that you love while you are living this type of lifestyle. I get it. Most of us think that money can come only from a steady nine to five job, but it doesn't really fit our point of while doing the things that you like doing and traveling at the same time. Now, the amount of money you will need to live this type of a lifestyle strongly depends on your choices. You can either live in a stay center of Dublin Ireland and pay 2000 euros for rent only, or you can move to Bali, where the rent will be around 800 euros for a villa swimming pool, and you will live a pretty nice life for, like, 100 500 euros total. This is a really stack and drastic comparison, I'm aware of this, but I just wanted you to know that there are options that may be less drastic, and you may actually need less money than you think you do. I actually made a video about the topic of how to get the best bank for my back and how I'm managing to travel full time. So if you are interested in it, I'm leaving you a link down below, and it's also somewhere in the cards. But whenever you go and whatever you do, you will still have to make some money to make this type of lifestyle a valuable solution. So this brings us really smoothly to the second part of this manual. Making money. Let's quickly discuss the four ways in which you can make money which fit perfectly into this little graph. You can either be location bound or location independent, and you can either be an employee or an entrepreneur. And yes, those are the four ways, and we're absolutely skipping the ones that don't really fit digital nom lifestyle at all. Now, being location dependent means that you need to be at a certain location to do your job. This may mean a lawyer, a healthcare worker, a normal nine to five person that goes to the office. I don't know, kindergarten teacher. Things like this. Well, being location, independent obviously means that your job can be done remotely. And this usually applies to people who do coaching, IT, freelancing in general, some graphic stuff, video editing, writing. The list does go on, and I actually made a video, I think about a couple of ways in which you can make money as a site sle absolutely from home. So there's 990 as that also linked below. Now, if we move towards the entrepreneur side of my little graph, this may also be a location dependent entrepreneur. People like electrician. Um, some type of a doctor, some type of a lawyer that has their own lawyer house or however else it's actually called, or a person that has an office and has to be in this office because of whatever. You can even be a one person interprener hairdresser, but then you also probably have to be at one spot unless you get really creative. Location independent entrepreneur would be a designer, a writer, a copywriter, a video producer, a video recording person, video editing person, and a lot of other things on the list. But just to give you an idea of what we mean by each one of those people in the graph. So if you want to be a digital nomad, you obviously are interested in the position four and two, because you want to be in the way location independent. Still, you don't have to be an entrepreneur, you can still be an employee. That's the same thing. Now, there is absolutely nothing wrong with being in the window number two and being an employee. There's a lot of remote jobs right now that are offering you not showing in the office ever Things such s. I actually made a list. So bookkeeper accountant, HR, coder software developer web designer, video editor, and stuff like that. And to be fair, after the pandemic, a lot of office based jobs have given people an opportunity to work remotely, and working remotely became something less of a taboo when it goes to discussing things with your boss. If you are remotely working employee, you basically made it. All you have to do is just to pick up a location in which you want to go to that would make more sense for you financially, aesthetically, or whatever else you want to do that. But for the rest of this video, I will be talking about entrepreneurs. And even if you are an employee, you can still watch it because maybe you want a side gig or you don't want your salary to be just the ceiling that you cannot go through, you want the sky to be a limit on that e. If you ask me why, let me tell you it this way. Most of digital nomads strive for working on their own terms with their own staff on the things that they want to be doing, not necessarily nine to five, but remote, and then you cannot even switch the time zone because then you become a vampire. Now how to become a location independent entrepreneur. Repreneurship p build a business or start up that with time will allow you to remove yourself from the business entirely and allow you to work from whatever you please. You are the boss. This path usually requires raising the funding, great idea and being able to work with other people as a leader. It's really hard though, and I wouldn't recommend it if you are not a leader part or if you are and intravit like me. The Way number two is a creator path. And as I mentioned at the beginning of this video, I will not be like hitting you with it because there's a lot of videos on this channel already on this topic. I have a full blown Hashtag dream life University course on which I'm teaching this exact thing. I wrote a book about it. There is a coaching program on my website. There's a lot of things about it. Although, if you want me to make a dedicated video of how to become a digital nomad as a content creator, we can absolutely do it. Just leave me a comment down below. I really love your request. So whatever you want me to do or discuss. I'm there for you in the comment. Number three is a freelancer path which can also be split into two categories. And to go through with this one, all you need is one skill that is monetizable and monetize it. That's all you need to do. Now, as I mentioned, this can be also divided into categories, so let me tell you why. Now hear me out. Choosing a creator path, gives you a leverage of access to people. Choosing the entrepreneur path gives you a leverage of having a team and maybe access to people. Well being a freelancer has none of those things. Unless you are a freelancer of our first category, which is. Category one is to set up a company as a freelancer and search for your clients through freelancing platforms such as Fiber, pwork, ts, and Ads. This means you are using an audience and clientele of a platform that already has people in need of your help. But you may still be a slave of algorithms, star ratings, ps, and more Category two freelancer is in a bit worse situation, and they will be searching for the clients alone. This may mean some had at times and the need of flexibility from the freelancer side. The plus side of being a freelancer is the fact that if you put more work and time into the things, seen actual results is usually faster than the other two paths. And by the way, no one has ever said that you cannot combine all of those paths. I'm personally combining path two, which is a creator with path three of a freelancer, both category one and two. So Yeah, you can do this too. Now, how to become a freelancer, you just need the skill that people would be ready and happy to pay for. It does sound easy, but if you think about it, this is exactly what most of the services are based ball. You have pizza places because people are willing and happy to pay for someone to make a pizza rather than them making a pizza. So if you have any skill, note it down, go to any type of a freelancing platform and check what people are selling skill wise. You may be surprised what people sell. Like, I think I've seen a break message service on FIBA cause I was looking for writing stuff, and I was just looking at it like, Wow. The guy had literally like thousands of reviews, by the way. And if you don't have any skills that look interesting or monetizable, lend them. There's hundreds and thousands of websites on which you can lend really valuable skills. Things such as SkillShadm, EDX, Google itself, and they can give you some type of certification and all the skills that are really monetizable and are points of interest. And a lot of times those courses and other things like this are free. And if you already have a job, you obviously have some type of a monetizable skill. How do you actually find clients dog? As we mentioned, number one is freelancing websites. But there's obviously other ways of approaching your customers. Number one, reaching out to creators. If you have any skill that's like video editing, photo editing, creating funils, SEO, research, writing, things like this, you can reach out to creators and become a freelancing creator type of thing without becoming a creator yourself, but making a lot of money out of the fact that you are helping someone else. Other businesses, you may be shocked how many businesses are desperate, really desperate. Forse services, you can reach out to them and be like, Hey, I would like to redo your website because it looks like it's been made in 2000s, and we have been way past this moment right now. And they are much more likely to say, yes, because you already reached out to them and you came with a ready solution. In creating a portfolio page and setting yourself up as open to work and just showing people and writing a lot about different things may actually get you a lot of clients. I personally found my coaching clients free of them through LinkedIn because they were like, Oh, I always saw your posts, and I was following, and then I saw that you were doing coaching. So I decided to reach out. So this is how I got my client, literally through Linkedin. Website. Having a professional website and showcasing what you can do for certain businesses or individuals is actually going to get you pretty far because getting or stumbling upon your website and just seeing services and just other things. You know, you probably go to some type of website and you see a shop and services and stuff like this. This is exactly the same thing that we're going to do right here. Plus, if you are reaching out to creators, businesses, and stuff like this, it's good to have a portfolio because if you tell me that you're an electrician, but I cannot see anything for it, It's gonna be questionable, isn't it? And Subifa, you'd be surprised how many e mails I'm getting each and every week of people saying things like, I can make your YouTube that much better. I can make your fu mails and stuff like this. And there's like no portfolio, no link, no picture, no nothing. And they are like, Can we schedule a call? I'm not scheduling a call with a person who cannot even send me any type of an example of their stuff. You right away showed me that you don't care about my time whatsoever, and I hate calls, okay? If you get in a call with me, You better have something good to show for it. Like to be fair now that I think about it. With my video editor, I never had a video call at all. Like, we met but in person for a dinner, but we never had a call. She's great. Or whenever a person shows me a random screenshot with VDI Q or Cube body with a little arrow to it, I'm like, My dear Summer child. Do you think I'm not using this, and I can't see it for myself. And this is why it's important that once you have a client, ask for testimonials, ask for reviews, and ask for anything like this. Now, how to start doing any of this with a full time job? Because that's probably the question that's most important right now. Of course, all of this takes a lot of time, and I will never say, just leave your job and start living your life because this is not viable, and this is really dangerous. Having a 95 is really dangerous in my opinion, anyway, but it's still safer to stay within your job until you are sure that you can basically support yourself throughout your side gig and then change the side gig into the main gig. That's why this video is not called. Leave your job and do this instead. It's not sexing. It's not promising, but it's real. Okay? And we are really real on this channel. And yes, switching your normal career into becoming a digital nomad will take some time and will mean a lot of work. Being a digital nomad does not mean in any shape or form that you will not do anything or that you will just you sit there and do nothing. If you want to learn about some passive income, it's also taking a little bit of time. But I made a video about it. There's nine ideas for some passive income streams that actually work pretty well, but they, again, won't give you ten K within 50 days. Think about it like this. What you are doing now is the result of what you were doing a year ago. So if you start doing things towards your better future right now, within a year, you can get yourself extremely far, and maybe within a year, you can just leave your normal job and start living the digital nomad life. Unfortunately, there is no walk around or a shortcut that will make it just pop and happen. It's going to be hard, and it's going to take time. 9. Outro: So this is it.
