1. Introduction: Hi, I'm booby from axilla and cluster it. I'm a violin jewelry maker, likely to this jewelry making class. I have been making jewelry for a long time now. I love experimenting, trying new designs and developing new patents. On my Etsy shop, actually handcrafted, but I offer lots of detail tutorials for different designs and different techniques. Those can be a part of your creative journey venue. Wrapping up is a very versatile technique of gelatin making. It requires very few tools and with a few techniques which you have learned, you can create beautiful jewelry. This course we'll be creating this beautiful kosher design pendant. Just need some basic supplies as listed in the course. We've alone to create the frame and set the stone within it. And using all the techniques we have learned so far, we will create the entire kosher design pendant. If you're new to my pink. And just beginning, then do take the by wrapping for beginners course. Dependent using single via technique. I pose before attempting does reject design. It is a simple yet beautiful design and it is really flexible. You can change the shape and size of the stone as per your availability. I'm sure you will have fun and enjoy creating this design with me. If you're ready, then let's start right at me. 2. Tools & Materials Used in this Class: Let us now look at the materials and tools used in this class. We will be using 44 inches of 20 gauge around wire and 122 inches of 30 gauge round wire. We will need an oval cabochon stone, 20mm X 30mm is the size that I'm using here. We will need a few beads of your choice. Any beads will do, I'm using two beads of 2 MM, three beads of 2.5 MM and two beats of 3 MM In this project. For the tools we will need Chain nose pliers or flat nose pliers. Now nose pliers, flush cutters, and a 5M doorbell or bail making pliers. This is all we need. If you're ready, then let us start. 3. Kosha 1 - Preparing Wires for the Frame: This class we have working with the kosher design. This design is perfect for oil size tone. Here. This is the one I have created using a laboratory that stone. But for this class we are using a slightly smaller black onyx garbage on. So you can definitely use any size oval stone you have. We are going to use it horizontally and have a flat back. The stone that I'm using is approximately 25 MM by 1920 MM. And it has around forum and tech. We're taking 20 gauge around via four pieces. Well inches long. We will start by marking the centers at six inches. So our first step is to wrap around all the wires and get them ready for making the frame. For this, we are using 24 inch long weaving while we will be doing two-by-two, we've over four values here. This is the one. These wires will create our frame. First, we will find the center of all of even via. We will place the center on Bio one. We're going to call this wire as y of one. We will wrap over via one for two to three rotations to secure the weaving by R2 means wire. The wire two on the top and drop twice around both wires. On the right side. We have to view overall on both sides of the center. So right now we are leaving on the right side, bringing the virus up from the center of y of one and via two. We will learn the next while. This is via three rapport via two and via 342 rotations. And bring the wire up from the center of wire to entry. The last via, via four, wrap over via 34 for two rotations. This time we will bring the virus up from the center of via one and via two. Now we're going back to, we want to more rotations on via 23. This kind of weaving will give us triangular design. The stem device at the bottom of y of one, the rap for two rotations on via van. And then to end our forest weaving rotation, rapport via one for two rotations. Here it is. This is our van rotation of weaving. Add one more rotation on this side. We are repeating the same steps. We want to rotations on two wires, giving us a triangular design. You can be with your left or your right hand as convenient. All throughout makes sure that the bees virus remains straight and do not deform. We can slightly spread apart the base virus to create more space in-between. Now that the second rotation is done, we are going to be photo few rotations on the right side. On my other one, we are ending our weaving on the side. We've got the extra weaving via and at this point and secure the wire and using pliers. Now we will continue to live on the left side. That will slightly spread out dividers. And I will show you how you can leave with your left hand. The technique remains the same. We are just weaving with the other hand. If you are leaving material right hand, then just rotate the virus and continue to V1. The same method. Make sure that all the views are uniform and keep on pressing the weaves together to get nice glows views. Now we are ending the weaving on the side to fulfill rotations on via one. Cotton security extra weaving Maya. As you can see, our basic frame bios on already. 4. Kosha 2 - Creating Frame for the Pendant: Now that our frame bias already and this part we are going to be shaping our frame and we will work on the bill. We want to wire a one at the bottom. And the weaving French side should faces, please the stone horizontally. We are going to be using stone as our support for shaping the virus. The virus, as shown and gently core of the virus we're using fingers only makes sure that the fingers and the center of the stone width. We are going to be carving the virus around the stone. Like this. This cone formula with one hand and glove the virus with another hand. We want a nice teardrop shape around the stone. Also make sure that y of four that is the top file, slightly goes over the surface of the stone because that is mostly going to hold the stone from the top. Now here you can see that the wires are intersecting each other. So we are going to mark that point on both sides. We will remove the stone. Now using pliers, we are going to fold over virus up from this marked point. We want all far for virus to remain parallel at all times. They should not overlap and you can see they are now perpendicular to the base. Repeat the process for the other side. All four wires are parallel. They are not overlapping each other and we are going to be folding them up. In all. We have eight wires at this point over here, four wires on each side and both sides wire should be parallel. Hold them like this formally, but gently. You can see that there are four wires aligned properly, perpendicular and the center of the weaving at the bottom. This is our basic frame. Now that our basic frame shape is ready, we will now vote on the bill for the pendant. 5. Kosha 3 - Making Bail for the Pendant: Now that our basic frame shape is ready, we will now walk on the bill for dependent. We will first do the weeping and then they will shape the bill. We're using a 36 inch long weaving Vieux. We will start near one of the virus. The virus formally as we saw earlier. Then we will wrap over all eight wires photo few rotations, weaving with the shorter end right now. This is just to hold all the wires together. Then we will end this violent or weaving on this side, we are going through the center of bio 12 and then we're weaving over via one for few rotations. This well secured the side violent. Got the extra leaving layer. Make sure the via the end towards the inner side of the frame. So at this point, all over eight wires are connected together. And then we are going to separate. So both wire for that is the topmost, while that's what we are going to be making a bail width, we will slightly pull them up. Now, we will take the last wire that is y of one on the left side and all the other virus, they go towards the right side. We now have five wires on the right side. One wire to the left, that is y of one. We have five wires on the right side and the two wire Ford are at the front. And we have slightly pull them towards us. We are going to spread them apart a little to create this kind of a space in-between. We are now going to be doing figure-eight. We've over these two virus. It does one rotation on second rotation go through the center, go over to the other via rapid opposite. While for two rotations. On second rotation come back to the left side. While on the left side we will wrap for one rotation. Grep for the second rotation. And second rotation we go across to the opposite right side via rotation. Rapport, another rotation, come up from the gap in-between, pick the virus over to the left side. I hope you can see it much better here. On every second rotation we are going over to the opposite side vial from the center. This is figured it we've over two wires. The length of the bill can be up to you. But right now, I'm going to be doing 12 complete rotations of the leaf. Here you can see at this point we are going to straighten both these wires using pliers. Now both wires are parallel with an equal distance or similar distance in-between. So for me right now this distance between two wires as five MM, if you want a broader build and increase this distance. So again, we are going to be weaving for 12 rotations over the parallel virus. Once you are done, we will again use the pliers to fold both sides virus in towards the center. Like this. As you can see, the virus are intersecting each other. This point. We will fold the virus up from the intersection point. You can mark this point and then for the violet up, now you can see this gap. We still have to V4. So we have to leave till we reach this point will be approximately ten to 12 rotations of weaving. Again, make sure that the views are close to each other. So keep pressing the views together every few rotations to end up leaving. We will leave over one of the virus for a few rotations, cortex Dre and secure dividing. Basic frame along with the weaving for the bail is now ready. The next part we are going to be setting the stone. 6. Kosha 4 - Setting the Stone: Now that our frame is ready, we are going to be setting the stone at this point. Insert the stone from the backside. So in case it is elaborated, Moonstone, make sure that the flash is at the right angle, it around. And now, using the pliers and fingers, I'm going to create a dent in the back while that is y of one. These dense will create the supports for the stone to sit. And at this time remain extremely cautious because the suppliers should not damage the stone. Also, you can see that we do not want the remaining of y of one to change its position. We can slightly press our fingers to make sure that via Ford is going over the stone and it is holding the stone from top. This has set our stone not move or fall from its position. Now we are going to shape our bail and we will wrap the virus to the front. To do that, we have this bill within here, please, or five MM Dowell at the back in the center of the weaving. You can use some dealmaking pliers. The virus over the doorbell. Now I'm using pliers. We are going to be creating this dent at the bottom of the weaving. We are slightly going to fold the wired up. You can now see that these wires are perpendicular to the front. Now call device gently and bring them to the front, pass them through this gap about the stone, and push them to bring them to the front of dependent. Straighten the virus using fingers and close the bill properly, press it at the bottom. We now have two wires at the front and our bail is fully formed. This is how it looks at this point. We're now going to be shaping these two wires as such, like in a similar. So make sure that first of all they should remain parallel. We are going to be carving the virus. Use your thumbs. Pressed the virus with your thumb so that they remain parallel. Dig them down from the outer edge of the dependent of the frame. We will cut extra Bahrain. And we are going to be wrapping these violence over y of one from which we have created these dense. So there is slight gap between 12. That's where we want to fold over virus. Take your time and make sure that the pliers do not damage the stone because certain stones are quite soft and they do get scratches because of pliers. Our bail is now done and we have wrapped the wire ends properly. The next part creating this weaving component that we have here. 7. Kosha 5 - Let's now Weave: We're now going to be creating this weaving component that we have here. We will be doing three by two V over two wires. For this, we are going to be choosing the nearest wires to the front. Select any two parallel wires which are closest to the front side. We are going to be weaving over these two wires using 24 inch long weaving via first wire, we are going to be doing 3D rotations of weaving. Cortex job I had ended the beginning. And secure though. We are going to slide this down. Now. We will do two rotations over both files. This is our one rotation of weaving. It is three rotations on one vial and two rotations over both wires. Keep pressing the virus together to get nice glows reuse. At this point we are going to be doing 14 complete rotations, but do not get extra viewing via, as we may add more rotations if needed. At all times, make sure that the virus remains flat and straight to of course, once you are done with 14 rotations, we can stop right here. And now we will give it this curvature folder via down like so towards the bottom of dependent makes sure that the virus remain flat. And I'm using the thumb gives shape to the curvature. You can follow your own intuition for the curvature shape. I had to add 23 more rotations of weaving. And I'm still adjusting this curvature for the virus down. I'm going to be cutting off extra weaving bio here. Folding the virus down. I'm going to be still adjusting this. Take it more towards stiff left side frame bio. We will cut extra wire ends and similar to what we did before, we are going to be wrapping this overview of one, pass the gap between buyer 12 and tightened the violence. We are almost done. Just a few more things remaining and up and it will be tidy. Next part we are going to be working with this coil via right here and the medial. And the last center wire from which we are creating a loop. 8. Kosha 6 - Adding the Beads: This part we are going to be working with this coiled wire right here and the medial via the last center wire from which we are creating a loop. We'll start with the coiled while. For that we are taking our next wire that is closest to the three by two V Virus. Using a piece of 18 inch long bearing bio, we want to coil over this wire. The wire is around while we will be able to slide our coil down once it is viewed. Slide the coil down to the bottom. Now we are going to be coating this wire to follow the curvature of three by two VIF. Again here also I have to add a little bit of coiling. Weaving has to reach till the outer edge of dependent. Just add a few rotations. This looks good. So we are now going to cut the extra weaving wire, the base via down and to the back. We will guide the extra bass viol and wrap the wire and similarly over y of one. Keep on adjusting until you are satisfied. Pick the next file. Now we are going to be adding some beads to this wire. I'm going to be using some copper beats here. I'm using three different sizes. It is two mm, 2.5 MM, YY MM. I'm starting with the smallest 13 beats of the smallest size, two to three beats of the medium-size depending on the size that you are using. And two beats of the largest sites. We want a gradual increase in the size of the beat. Now we are going to be folding the wire down and then we will follow the inner side goal of the three by two views. Like so. Now at this point, fold the wire down. Now at this point we are not going to be cutting extra via, We will just create this dentate right side frame bias to secure the wire position. We're not cutting the extra bile will bring the virus to the outer left side. Just at the bottom of the bill. This is where we want the viral adjusted position. So this is done right now. Now we will use the last wire on the right side. We will bring the wire down. Now we want to create a loop. And this small curvature we have left. This kind of a loop. We are going to be calling the vile. Use your thumb to make it the exact size. Go the vial and counterclockwise direction for one complete rotation to create a nice loop in that portion. Bring the Via back to the outdoor right side folded down and to the back. I hope you can see the loop that we created. We will cut the extra via here and wrap divided. And similarly. Now with this, our right set of dependent is done but will now walk on the left side two wires and finish our pendant. I hope you all are enjoying. Next part, we will now walk with this top portion on the left. 9. Kosha 7 - Adding the final Details: Now that the right side is done, we will now walk with this top portion on the left. We will use these two wires. So first we are working with this wire which we have at the bottom of the bill, the one on which we added the bids. Now we are going to be coiling over this while using a 12 inch long piece of weaving vile fire around one inch on little less than one inch. Got both sides extra weaving patterns and secure properly with pliers. Slide the coil down. Now called the coil on the top and the reverse direction in the opposite direction over the bail. Here. I'm also going to be cutting off the other side leaving via end. Now we will even cut the extra B's via, just live enough to wrap over the bill. We will take it towards the inner surface of the bill and rapid over tightened with suppliers. Do make sure that the violin does not come up from the top. The violence should not come towards the top side. It is almost ready. Now just one last five are remaining. We are going to be carving divided up and follow the curve of the coil bio, please. Just inside that file of the wire down. We'll cut extra and similarly wrapped dividing towards the inner surface of the beam. How simple it was that as an advisor, really nice design. I enjoyed creating it every time and it is my go-to design for milestones. Works perfectly with any size, any stone, any shape. Thank you for taking this class with me. 10. Conclusion: Congratulations, you have just completed the course. I hope you enjoyed creating duality in with me. This was just the first step towards learning to via, via wrapping is all about manipulating the virus. It is important to learn the basics properly, to give proper codes and create proper shapes.
