About This Class
In this video you'll learn four easy steps that can be used to put together a simple wedding dance choreography. You will be able to learn both the leader's and the follower's parts. Amanda and her husband, Andriy, will demonstrate all the steps as they look in a closed frame and finish with a sample routine. For this video we chose American Rumba, which is the most popular dance for wedding choreographies and can be used with a variety of wedding songs.

Before you begin practicing with your partner, make sure you learn your steps individually. You can start by learning the first step and practicing it until you can go through it several times without stopping. Once you feel comfortable with individual steps, you can put them in a sequence. All figures in this video can be danced consecutively in any order.
Here are some of the routines you can practice:
1) Box Step, Underarm Turn, Open Break with an Underarm Turn, Basic in Place.
2) Basic in Place, Open Break with an Underarm Turn, Box Step, Underarm Turn
3) Underarm turn, Basic in Place, Open Break with an Underarm Turn, Box Step
Have fun practicing with your partner!
