1. Welcome to my Class: If you ask any artist about their favorite
subject to paint, the first thing they
would mention a skies. Skies offer a wide array
of colors and character, ranging from bold and bright, a soft and subtle,
even dramatic skies. There is no doubt they make an exceptional and captivating
subject for any artist. Hi everyone, my name is Annie. None of you. I'm an artist and our constructor and an order to the book board and
beautiful glass guys. Watercolor skies is something
that I absolutely love. It is really wonderful. How we can create various
effects in the sky simply by playing with colors and altering
the brush moments. I have set up
briefly watercolors that I purchased a white path, which I hadn't fully explored. Just a short while ago, I decided to give them a try. The outcome exited
all my expectations. The skies, I painted very lovely plant off
gentle soft textures. And before building. In this class, I'll
be teaching you how you can create watercolors. I'm being simple as soft
and dreamy watercolor sky. We will begin by discussing the materials we will
need for this class. After that, it will
take a detailed look at Visa Class and explore
how can create them. Once we have a good
understanding, we will move on to
painting the sky. Sky with Chuck is a
unique color combination, allowing you to gain
confidence in color mixing. Through these projects,
you will have the opportunity to practice and refine the skills and creating crystal worthless guys. Okay, so if you are
in a mood to paint some soft and simple basis, guys, chime me right away for delightful
painting session.
2. Class Overview & Projects: Let's to fall. Thank you so much We tiny. It's a pleasure to have
you on tiny this class. So before we start,
let me give you a quick idea about what
the class is all about. As you already
know, this class is focused on basically
watercolor skies, pixels, colors are
not that common. You always will
have to buy them. Additionally, it doesn't come from the normal watercolor sets. What is the exciting part? You don't actually have to buy all those specific basal colors. You can easily create them by mixing white watercolor into any color you wish to
transform into pastel shade. So I will begin this class by demonstrating that
we will explore and understand what are peaceful
Colors and how we can create them with the normal
colors we have with us. So before we start
with the skies, we will compare and try different mixing
recipes so that you're well-practiced at
Mixing your own colors. After very detailed color study, we will start with
the watercolor skies. We will be Painting ten
different pieces skies. Each of them will feature
a different color palette and a different technique. For example, in this painting, how you two simple blending
technique of two colors. You can see that basically
orange and blue. Now if you look
at this one here, along with a smooth blend, have introduced some
violet color at the bottom to make the sky
look more interesting. So that's the same technique
with the simple tweak. Now coming to this one, I
have added some lines at the bottom to make the
sky really captivating. Now for the sky, have used three different colors and I have added the paint
and an inclined way. Now when this one, it's a little more
modified version of the same technique. The lines are a bit
more traumatic, but the colors are really beautiful and they
are very soft. And for this one, I have
introduced some rounded clouds. It is one of my favorite
from the collection. I just love this
color combination. Have you similar kind of cloud
for the spinning asphalt? It is just add the
colors are different. In this class we will
explore a total of ten different peaceful
watercolor skies. With each project in this class, you will have the
opportunity to explore unique color combinations
and learn new techniques. This process will not only enhance your understanding
of pastel colors, but also boost your overall
confidence and working with watercolors as you
progress through the class and engage
in various projects, you will steadily develop
your skills and gain the confidence needed to create stunning visual
watercolor skies.
3. Materials You'll Need: Let's start by looking at
the materials you will need. As usual, I will
start with the paper. So this is the one I'm going to use for this anterior class. It's from Canson
Heritage Series. So Canton has a lot of
varieties of paper. This is the one that allowed, particularly the one I use
for my watercolor paintings, mostly editors 140 Albi, which means it is
quite thick enough and can handle multiple
layers of water or paint. Then it is 100% cotton and it is cold press
watercolor paper. Okay, so that's the
one I'll be using. You can go with any of
your watercolor paper, preferably an artist
grade watercolor paper, which is 100% cotton and a
minimum of 140 RB thickness. Now let me show you the size of the paper that I'm going
to use for the painting. So all the paintings are
composed in a square shape. And this one is 14
by 14 cm quiet. According to your preference, you can go for a
portrait orientation or landscape orientation. I will show you a few paintings that we're going to do to get a rough idea about the size
and the weight is composed. Here it is. These are two of the paintings study going
to do in this class. As you could see here,
they are not so detailed. The major element is the sky. Then we have a
foreground element. It could be a metal
or a mountain. So my recommendation
would be to go for a smaller scale people. This one is 14 by 14
centimeter square. You can make it a
bit bigger or a bit smaller. That's
totally okay. So that's all about
the watercolor paper. The next thing you will
need some masking tape. This one is a very
normal masking tape I got from a stationary store. You can use any tip
of your choice. It could be a painter's
tape or washy tape. We just need to fix the people. You can fix it onto your table
or onto a drawing board. Okay, so that's the second
thing you will need. Next coming onto the watercolor. As you all know in this class, we are trying to
explore pistol skies. So obviously you will
need some basic colors, but there are two common. It doesn't come in the
normal watercolor sets. You will always have
to buy it separately. So what we're going to do is we will be adding some
white watercolor into normal colors that we
have to create a basal color. I will quickly show
you an example. Here. I have brilliant pink, which is a pixel color
I already have with me. Now to create a similar color, all you have to do was
add some white watercolor into any of your rate
or any of your pink. It's a very easy task. You don't need to buy
all the pastry colors available in the market. Just by adding some bite
into any of the color, it could be purple
or pink or orange. You can easily create
a basal color. If you look at this watercolor
tube under pigments, there are two numbers written. One is p and the
other one is vw. And if you look at the
white watercolor tube, it clearly says that
pigment number is p w six. So that is quite obvious. The Berlin pink is
a combination of a white pigment
and a red pigment. And that is exactly
what we're going to do. If you don't have
any basic colors with you, there is
nothing to worry. I'm hoping you all have a
white watercolor tube with you because that's
how many ways. In the next section,
I'll be demonstrating how we can create your
own set of pixel colors. So don't forget to
check out that. Now coming to the next material, you will need a mixing palette. This one is a ceramic
mixing palette. I'm someone who prefers
ceramic or plastic because it is much more easier
to clean combat plastic. And also it doesn't
stay in the palette. We spoke about the people, the colors on the palette. The next major thing
is the brushes. I'll be using five
different brushes. They all are from silver brush. So these are the
brushes I'll be using. I have two flat brushes
and three round brushes. I will start with
the bigger brush. So this one has a
1 " flat brush. This one is to apply water
onto the background. Mostly. Most of these guys
that we're going to paint is on
wet-on-wet technique. So obviously you will have
to apply equal to water. Now the next one is a
half inch flat brush. I will be using this brush
to paint these guys, especially when I need
to blend the colors. So that's my second brush. You can go to the half in fresh or a three by
four inch brush. Now the next three brushes are round brushes of
different sizes. I have size number eight, size number six, and
size number two. Obviously the bigger
one size number eight is to be in
the background. Then the other two is for medium and smaller
size detailing. If you don't have
three different sizes, that's totally okay. Go to medium-size brush and a smaller size brush.
That's all we need. Alright, that's all about the watercolor brushes
I'll be using. The next day you will need
a jar of clean water. Usually I always recommend
having two jars of water. But the paintings
that we're going to do in this class doesn't have a lot of colors
are a lot of details. So one jar is enough. The last two things you will need a paper towel and a pencil. There's only simple
as getting involved like a mountain or
a horizon line. For that you will need a pencil. Then you'll also need
a paper towel to dab off the excess amount of water
content from your brush. Okay, so those are the materials you will need for
this anterior class. Before I conclude, I just
want to say it's totally okay not to have the exact same material that
I'm using here, even the color or the
exact same brush. Just go with anything you have, which is nearly similar.
4. Pastel Colors: I'm going to start by
explaining water pistol colors. So I have a set of
pastel colors with me. What type of cheese
or wind pack. So that is lavender, green, pale Chamberlain about two shell pink Christ and blue,
brilliant pink. There are quite a lot of colors. Partly I haven't explored
them to the fullest. So this class is actually an opportunity for me to
explore them as well. So I'll start by sketching
out all these colors onto my paper so that you have
an idea how they look like. I wouldn't be using all
these colors for this class. I'll just use some
pain can, some orange. The rest of the Colors
is just for you to see. Anyway, I will switch it out. This is another major
color I'll be using. It is called brilliant pink. It's a beautiful, peaceful pink. And also this one is
my favorite color from the collection of
peaceful Watercolors I have. Anyway. First I will take out some
paint onto my palette. Then we can have a look
at each one of them. This one is very much similar to the color you see on the top. If you look at the
pigment number, you can see it's a mix of red pigment and a white pigment. Br means pigment red, and PW means pigment wide. So it's a combination
of white and red. First, I will quickly
swatch all these colors. Then we can come to this
pigment information. We can see how each one of
them are made and from which pigments each of them are made. And similarly, if you
look at this one, it is called green pill. It's a basal queen. Again, a combination of a green pigment and
a white pigment, p27 as pigment green
and PW speaking right? We can have a look
at one more color before we scratch it out. This one has lavender. And if you look at the
pigment information, you can see it has
three pigments, a blue pigment or violet
pigment and a white pigment. The white pigment is common in all the pieces, watercolors. And that's how they get
that peaceful character. To make it clear,
let's have a look at the White Watercolor to
this one is titanium white. And if you look at
the pigment number, you can see this PW six. And that means the
common elements and all these colors is white, white watercolor or
a white pigment. And that's how they have
that peaceful character. I think that's a quick
intro to begin with. Now, I'm going to scratch
all these colors. Alright, so I have all
the colors on my palette. I will start with
the first color. This one is a peaceful orange. It's called John Brilliant. Number two. It's a very soft and
subtle basal orange. It has a slight
yellowish tone to it. So John is a French word. It means yellow. But it's
not a basically hello. The information of
the pigment sees it's an orange pigment and white. Here's a watercolor tube. It's from a plant
called Shanahan. John, Brilliant number to the pigments are an orange
pigment and a white pigment. Po means it's an orange pigment. Now coming to the second one. Have to ping co. That's
been a shell pink. It's a beautiful color. I
absolutely love this color. How one more Paint? Festival furnished test and
I would shoot, I'd color. So all the colors I have here
is from the branching him. It's according
Watercolor, Brand. Dismissal, light,
peaceful thing. The next one, this one
as brilliant pink. It's much more brighter
than the previous one, which you can see quite easily by looking at
the swatch itself. The spinous, much more plato and bolder than
the previous one. So to make the color lighter, they might have added
more by two into it. And also the pigment might
be slightly different. Even though put our pink, we can have a look at that. So those are peaceful
orange and peaceful paints. These are the two colors
have splashed out right now. Shall pink and brilliant pink. If you look at the
pigment information, both of them are made from a red pigment and
a white pigment. For Shell Ping it is per 9.4 brilliant ping
it is per 209. Even though they are looking slightly different
from each other. But they both have
white pigment in it. So the difference in
the way they look might be from the amount of white pigment in it and also the red pigment as
differential product them. Next handles swatch our
lab until after that, how Horizon Blue as
well as green pill. Okay. This one is again
a mix of a violet and a blue pigment along
with that white asphalt. To create that
peaceful character. For the Paintings that I'm
going to do on this class, I won't be using
these three colors. I'm in the last three colors. Mostly I'll be using John
Brilliant number two, shell pink and brilliant pink. Then some other colors that
I'm going to mix and create. Just don't worry,
if you don't have the luxury colors,
that's totally okay. Mostly we will need
basal pink and orange. I just want to show
you the colors that are available in the market. That's why I'm swatching
out lastly, colors. The next one is Horizon Blue This one has a beautiful color. I use it mostly for my turquoise beaches
and clear blue water. Okay, So that's the next one. Now how one more left? Which is green pale. I haven't ever tried
using that color. I'm still figuring out
what are you sat for? A beautiful green, but I don't know what I
can paint with it. Maybe for people who are into florals are some illustrations. Can use it. Okay, so that's the last color. It's called Green Pale. And as I mentioned earlier, all these colors as Pastel. It's from the branch in hand. It's a Korean brand. Here's a closer look
of all the colors. The name of the colors
might be different for different brands according to the pigment and the
way they have named. Never trust the
naming of a callow always go for the
pigment inflammation. Anyways, those are
the colors that are readily available in the market. Next, I'm going to try creating
my own peaceful colors, which may or may not be similar
to the ones be spat out. I think I'll show you
some of the Paintings. For the first one you see here, this one a startup
peaceful blue. And for this one as well, It's not a base, little violet. I've just used a
lighter value of those colors to create
a peaceful effect. That is one way of doing it. If you don't want to add some white watercolor
into your colors, you can just go for
a lighter value of the same colors to
create a please will effect the only thing
else the colors would be transparent when you add more
water to make it lighter. But when you add white
watercolor into it, it will be more
opaque and creamy. So first I will take
out some violet, some orange as the lesson
right onto my palette. I've divided my people
into nine equal divisions. The first set, I will swatch of these colors by adding
some water into it. Then on the next ones, we can add some white watercolor and we can see the difference. So how violet, orange
as well as right here. Now let me add some water into all these colors and turn
them into a lighter value. That is violet
from White Nights. Maybe some more water. Okay, So that's the first one. You can see dispatches
really transparent. It's a lighter value of violet. Now in a similar way, I will add this patch of orange
as well as red. You don't need to
try these exercises. You can just watch it to
understand peaceful colors. So the next one is orange. Have just added some water and have made the color lighter. This one is also
transparent as we have added more water to
make the color lighter. Now we have one more
left, which is right. Okay, so let's go with red. The red I'm using Q, a
spiral drag again function. And orange I used earlier
as brilliant orange. That looks really bright. Let me add some more
water to make it lighter. So that's lighter, right? I have added some
water to peddled read. And that is how it is looking. The colors we have fast out here as violet, orange, and red. We have just added
some water into all these three colors
to make it lighter. And the reasons we have
here is transparent. Now the next sections, I'm going to try creating
a basal portion of these three colors by adding some white watercolor
into each of them. It doesn't need to be
guage or anything, just simple, plain
white watercolor. Now I'm taking a
bit of that onto all the sections that
I can easily mix them. First I will start with
violet and the same order. So first we have as violet, I'm adding some white watercolor with the violet color I have on my palette. And that's Rosa. We can clearly see the
colors more milky, creamy add to peak. It is not really dull and transparent like
the earlier one. For that, we have
only used water, but right now we have introduced some white watercolor into it. So that's a basal
violet we have created. Next, let's try basal
orange as well as peaceful, with the same technique. Next one is peaceful orange. I have some white watercolor as well as orange on my palette. I'm mixing them together. Now, let's write out the color. Looks like there's a lot of white and orange
pigment is very less. I'm adding some more orange. This one has a very light
and soft based with orange. Depending on the amount
of orange color you add, the color will be different. If you're looking for
a brighter pixel, orange, you can add more
orange color into it. And if you're looking for a
really light and soft orange, reduce the amount of orange
and add more white into it. So that is peaceful orange. Next, let's try
creating peaceful read. So earlier we had a look
at the peaceful paints And for each of them they
have used red pigment. So obviously the color that we're going to create right now, but look something similar to
the colors we tried audio. And you can see the call just be slow pain that I'm
swatching out right now. It's a mix of pyrrole
red as well as white. Such a beautiful pink, right? So that's how you
create a basal think. It is really, really easy. All have to do is just add
some white watercolor. Using this method, you can turn any color into a pixel color. This is the same method that manufacturers also used
to create a basal colors. So you don't need
to buy all of them. You can just add some
white watercolor into any of the color you wish to
transform into peaceful sheet. Now we have one more
section left. Onto that. I'm going to spatter
the same color by adding more pigment into it. Just to show you the difference. I'm starting with violet. This time I'm using less
wide and more violet. And obviously the color
will be made brighter. So that's based on violet. Next, let's watch our orange
and readiness underway. By adding more pigment
and less wide. The orange I'm swatching
out right now. As much more plato and
prominent Daniel earlier. So depending on the Moody want
to create a new painting, you can choose to add
less white or more white. And also you can
try experimenting the same but different
kinds of oranges and reds. Now, I'm going to thread
just like we did earlier. More real and less white. The color is going to be much
more plato. Look at that. Such a beautiful pink, right? I used very little amount of white and I used to more red. And that's the color I caught. So we have a lighter pink
and a brighter pink. Then we have a lighter orange
and a brighter orange. Similarly, we have
a lighter violet and a brighter violet. Now if you look at these
painting over here, I have this trapezoidal orange. It is something similar to this. It's a mix of orange
as well as wide. And for this painting, I have these two brilliant
pink acidosis, which is very much similar to
the color we created here. Now for this painting here, I have used concern
for your number two, which is a basal orange. So you can choose to
use a lighter orange or a brighter orange. Before I wrap this
up, let me show you some of the oranges
and pink I created. The first for a special oranges. I use different oranges
for each of them. The last two RP sloping. For the first one I used
quite old red and white. And for the next one,
and for the last one, I added a bit of orange into it just to see how the color
is going to look like. So yeah, just keep experimenting with different colors you have. The color doesn't need
to be exactly the same. If have readily available
colors with it, you can use them directly, or it can just mix and create
your own face will close. My intention with this
section is to make you all confident enough to
attempt this class. Because basal colors
are not very common, you will always have to
buy them at digitally. And just for that reason, I don't want anyone
to stay away from trying not visible
watercolor skies. For example, for this painting, I'll be using a basal orange. I'll be using
Chamberlain number two. You can use any pencil, orange, just make some white watercolor, but any orange you have caught. Now for this one here, I will be using three
different colors for the sky. This epistle pink, and
the same peaceful orange, which you can create
quite easily. Keylistener, the one that I'll be using a lighter
value of blue, as well as a peaceful pink. I will also be adding
a bit of orange into the sky to create a
different effect. I will show you
one more painting. For this one I have used
three colors are Pencil, pink, or red, and an orange. The only peaceful color is pink, the rest is normal watercolors. You don't need any special
set of watercolors. You will only need a
white watercolor to you and the data you
can create your own. So don't be silly watercolors. And again, try all these beautiful pastel
watercolor skies.
5. Prepping the Paper & Colors: Before you start painting, make sure to secure your
people or to a board or table. Since the painting techniques in this class do not
involve heavy washes, there is no need to till
the paper or keep it inclined for the water
to flow downwards, you can simply leave the people Flat and secure it directly onto the table or a hard board using
Masking tape, washi tape. After applying the tape, apply some pressure
and run your fingers along it to ensure
there are no caps. Gaps can cause paint to seep in through and create
massive bottles. Additionally, using
a masking tape can also prevent your paper from buckling to an extent
after setting up your people, the next thing you will have
to prepare is your colors. If you have peaceful
colors available with you for up to use
them right away. However, since they may not be readily accessible to everyone, it is recommended to prepare
your paint makes an advance. By doing so, you
can save time and ensure a smooth and
uninterrupted painting process. This will also allows
you to fully immerse yourself in the moment and
enjoyed the experience. You will find a
detailed explanation of required colors
for each painting. At the beginning
of every project, make sure you have the
recommended Colors ready before we start with the
basal watercolor skies. If have any doubt, have a look at the basal
Colors section. But I have explained how
you can create your own. Be slower the class.
Now I think it's time to start with our first
basically Watercolor Sky
6. PROJECT 01 - Beyond the Mountains: The first baseless sky
that we're going to paint them this class as one, as you can see here, how these
two palettes for the sky, It's a way to get it
Wash of two colors. Can we also have a mountain? Okay, so that's the
first painting. Now I will quickly
take you through the colors you will
need for this painting. Have similar colors,
you can use the same, or we can go with any of
the color of your choice. So the first color,
you will need some blue. I don't help me. So blue with me, the color and
mixing cure is royal blue. It's actually a
very lighter value. That's my first color. You can use any
blue have caught. It could be Prussian
blue, cobalt blue, or any blue, which just have to water and turn that
into a lighter blue. This is the one I'll be using. So that's the first color.
Now coming to the second one. It's a basal yellow. Orange, however you
want to call it. I will first spatter the color. Then I will show you
the watercolor tube. So that's a kilo and
here's the Watercolor two. It's June Berlin number two. So John is the French word
for the color yellow. I have no idea if I'm
pronouncing it right. So the people who are speaking
French, please, excuse me. Anyway, here's the pigment
number. It says P0. That means it's an
orange pigment. And PW as a white pigment, which means it's a mix of orange pigment and
white pigment. So those are the two colors
I'll be using for the sky. You can use a lighter value of any blue diarrhea with you. Then you can use
a pistil orange. Now coming to the color you
will need for the mountain, I'll be using a darker
value of the same blue. Then add the missing data
with a bit of Payne's gray to get the integral
kind of a color. That's a clue I'll be
using for the Mountains. Along with that, I
will also be using Payne's gray acid is to
add the deeper value. According to the
amount of Payne's gray you're adding
into the color, your color might look a bit
different, but that's okay. Go with any blue and
add a bit of Payne's gray to create a beautiful
integral color of your own. Okay? Now the last color you will need as paints, gray acidosis. If you don't have been
screened to school with black or neutral tint. That summarize the
colors you will need for the first basal sky. Now before we start
with the painting, I want to quickly show
you how you can create that basal orange with the
colors you may have with you. We already had a look
at the pigment number. Let's have a look at it again. This fancies be
or 20 and PW six. So P 0 means it's
an orange pigment, and P W means it's
a white pigment. We already have some white
watercolor on the palette. Now I have 1 million with me
with just an orange pigment. The pigment numbers P or 16. This is the closest one I have. I don't have feet or 20. I'm just going to try creating that basal orange with formalin. I had a quick look and it seems be O2 sat is cadmium orange. So we have cadmium orange. You can use that
instead of 1 million. And I think the color will be
much more similar to John, Brilliant to anywhere. Let's try creating
that color with formalin and taking on some rumbling onto my palette
just a tiny bit. So my idea is to try and
mixing these two colors together of Mullin and white. It might not look
exactly the same, but still I can manage to
make a place to orange. Anyway, let's try it out
as some vital my palette, I'm mixing that with formalin. And you can see the
color I had created. Let's scratch it out. This one is very
much orange-ish. And the color or how useful
the painting looks a bit yellowish in a way. So that's a mix of
warm, willing and wide. Now I'm going to try making
this a bit more darker. I added a bit more
orange to the same mix. And that's a color. Depending on the amount of
why to adding into the color, that pixel character may
look different, right? And we can see the
colors a bit more darker than the one I smashed earlier. Now, I'm going to try creating the same color using
another orange. This is the one
I'm going to try. It is called brilliant orange. This one has a bit more
yellowish tone to it. Compatible Merlin. So let's try creating that basically orange
with this color. Have taken out some paint and I'm picking some white
and mixing it with that. Seems like this furnace, a much more closer one than
the one we created earlier. So just add some
white into any of the orange and try
creating a pistol orange. Even if it's not
exactly the same, you can just go with
that color and ready. Sure, how will you created
it is going to look really beautiful because
all the three colors have spaced out here, has its own beauty. They all are equally beautiful. So just try creating
your own version of peaceful orange and go
the one that you like. If you want to explore more, you can try the same with
all the oranges you how-to. If you have cadmium orange, you can go directly with that. I think the third one is kinda
similar to John Brilliant. Number two, this one, you can see the
other spots here. They are kind of similar. So yeah, I'll try
creating a piece of orange with any of the
orange you have God, just add a bit of whitewash, decline to it, and
create a beautiful, peaceful orange
and keep it ready on your palette
before you start. We may not have the
time to prepare the colonial and we
have started painting. So it's a good idea to
prepare that in advance. So I just starting
your painting, you have everything ready. Now it's time to do it. A try. I have my paper ready
here already and have tape to town Tripoli
onto my table. First, I'm starting
by adding the sketch. We need to add a sketch of a
mountain. That's only thing. I'm making a tire towards the right side then at the
sloping down towards the left. So just have a rough sketch of a mountain goat and irregular shape to make
it look more realistic. Right here you can see I have
a taller end on the right. Then towards the left,
I have made it a bit lower compared to the right. That's a sketch. That's
all you need to add. We could add the restaurant,
the details as you're painting for now,
this is all you need. Now let's prepare the
colors and start painting. We already have a
look at the colors. So take out any blue
of the child's. As I mentioned, I
missing via blow, but you could use Prussian
blue or cobalt blue or any blue have caught. We just need a letter,
will be single, rarely lighter value for the
sky to make it look like a pistol blue. So
that's the first color. The second one is
the spatial orange. Again, you will
only need a little. The colors are ready. Now for step starting by applying water onto
the anterior sky. I'm missing a wet on
wet technique you, which means you will have to apply a code of water
before you start. For that, I'm using my
one-inch Wash brush and picking some clean water, applying that to the entire sky. I'm running my brush around
the outline of the mountain. If we can try not to add any
water onto the mountain. My background is evenly wet. Now to apply the paint, I'm using Ron Fresh. This one is mainly to apply
paint around the mountain. And I'm starting off with
this based will orange. Now, let's add that
around the mountain. You can see the
color. Now, let's apply that carefully
around the mountain. After this, I'll be switching to a flat brush because that is much easier for me
to blend the color. I'm not really good with
blending colors with a rash. Okay. Let's add in some more
paint around the mountain. Okay, so that's the first color. Now I'm cleaning my brush and it's some clean water and making the color
lighter towards the top. You can take the paint until
to the half of his sky. So keep making it
lighter as it go up. Now, I'm going to switch to a flat brush and I will apply my second color
using of luxury. Picking blue, adding some water, turning that into
a lighter value. And I'm adding that on the
top using my flat brush. You want to continue
with your own brush? That's totally okay. For me. I find it easier to blend
the colors using Flat Brush. So that's the reason why
I'm using Flat Brush here. I will add some more
paint onto the top. Then I will quickly blend it. And that will be my sky. So keep running a brush
back and forth in a horizontal direction
to get a clean planet. Don't go with multiple
Brush moment. Only run your brush
in one direction. That will give you a perfect
blend. And be very gentle. Don't put a lot of pressure that will disturb
the people fibers. And it will end up
having those tiny pupil particles coming
out of your paper. Okay, So that's my sky. I'm very much happy
with the blend. It's a perfect
blend, I would say. Now, we could leave
this for trying. Okay, So this guy has
dried completely. Now it's time to
bring the Mountains. As we discussed earlier, along with blue, I will
also need some paints, gray I already have some royal
blue on my palette. Now I'm taking out some paints, gray, the colors already. Now what we have to do is we need to mix these
two colors together. I'm picking some royal blue
mixing pad with paints gray. You can use any blue. It doesn't really matter. We just need a darker blue. That's the color.
Now let's apply that almost three-fourths
of the mountain. Then towards the bottom we can introduce a much
more darker tone. So prepare that mix
of blue and paints gray and simply apply that following the
outline of your mountain. Good morning. Can
modify the shape. Just apply that
onto the mountain. Initially to paint a mountain, I thought of using integral, but then I realized I can
easily create some luck Hello by adding some Payne's
gray into royal blue, which I'm already
using for the sky. So that way I can go
with just three colors. Now, I'm going to prepare
a darker version of the same color by picking more Payne's
gray and more blue. And I will fill up the
bottom using that color. So this makes us more
paints gray than blue. See that at a much more
darker shade than earlier. Now fill up the bottom area and this darker tone,
just fill it up. At this point, your mountain might be looking a bit messy. It might not look that
great. But that's okay. It is part of the process. Now what I'm going to do
us, but the same brush, I'm going to add some lines
onto this wet background. There's some random lines
to create a texture. See that? Right from the bottom. Just add some lines towards the top. On the top we have a medium tone and to what to bottom
we have a darker tone. Now I'm randomly adding some
lines to create a texture. Once you're done adding those
darker tones to the bottom, you can add a few
along the slope. I'm using the same brush, picking some more paint. Now I'm adding some random lines along the slope of the mountain. Now let's add a few
towards the right side has for just a matter of
adding multiple value. Let your background
is still wet. Now seeing onto the side, pick up all those
tiny breaks you have new mountain and onto
all those pockets. Atom deeper value. This will create a beautiful
effect on your mountain. It will make it look
more realistic. Now if you back
on the still wet, you can keep adding
more deeper value and it's starting to dry. A good time to stop it. I'm happy with the left side, but on the right, I think I can add
an irregular line. From the tip of the mountain. My background has almost dried. So I'm picking the same color. Now onto this side, I'm just
adding some deeper valuable. This way I can create
a light and shadow. Now let's drop in some
deeper value. And that's it. That's my mountain. You can see how easily we
painted a beautiful mountain. For the base layer we used to mix off paints gray and blue. And the applied that
onto the MTO shape of the mountain when we
introduce some people value. And that said that the
car just Mountains. See that. Very much happy with the result. I hope you liked your
mountain till now. Let's wait for that to
dry completely then we can add some final
details onto it. Okay, so that's how it
is looking right now. Now for the final step,
we will leave some white. It can be white,
watercolor or gouache. I'm just using a bit of
white watercolor here. Now, you will need
a smaller brush and add few drops of water into your white watercolor
or gouache. We don't need an op quite. It can be a bit loose. So add a few drops of water if you feel your
pain is really try and opaque. So the
paint is ready. Now using this, I'm going to add some white lines on
to the mountain. Just some irregular line. Decreed a snowy effect. I don't want these lines
to be really prominent. That's why I'm using
a loose white. It doesn't need to be opaque. And the lives your
writing can be very irregular in shape. Add that variable you want to. But the only thing have
to keep in mind is to go with a paint that
does not do opic. Simply add some lines
onto the Mountains, mostly on to the top, then a few towards the bottom. I think it's good to add
the mask inclined line following the same
slope of the mountain. Looks like the paint I used as really watery lines
I added earlier. It is no hurdle
less able than and tried somatic more paint. And I'm just repeating
the same step. Now I'm adding fuel
towards the bottom. You can clearly see
the lines formatting. We don't have a proper shape. It's a bit thicker at some places and thin
at some places. So just go with such
natural random lines. You might be wondering why I'm
not using an opaque paint. The reason is that if
I use an opaque paint, they will be too prominent. I don't want these lines
to be too prominent. I want a very soft and
subtle feel for it. That's the reason why Amazon
slightly watery paint. You can see the lines
and I didn't show. Now when it dries,
they will be really soft and the receptor, they won't be prominent at all. And that's exactly what I need. Wherever you want to add these
lines, you could add it. If you want to go for an opaque paint, that's totally okay. If you don't want
to add these lines, even that is totally okay. Alright, so with that, we are done with our painting. You can see how beautiful
the mountainous looking and all subtle
texture on the mountain. Now it's time to go with
the most interesting task, peeling off the masking day. So let's talk what? Before you peel off
the masking tape, always make sure you're
painting has dried completely. If it's still a little wet
weight for that to dry completely so that you want
to pop the people by mistake. And here, so first baseless
Sky of this collection. I really love the simplicity
of this painting. The sky is really beautiful. And even the Rocky Mountain. I really hope you
all liked it too. Thank you so much
for joining and I'll see you soon with
the next painting.
7. PROJECT 02 - Dreamy Evening: Now let's go to our second
painting or the series. And here's what you're painting. It's a really dreamy,
peaceful sky. And they're going to
absolutely love the proximal. Any levels have a
look at the colors evenly before we start. So I have a scrap piece of paper here and have some lateral
paint on my palette. You William, Any
kind of pastel pink. You can either go
with a ready-made pink or it can mix
and create your own, then you will need some orange. Well, what are visible
mix of pink and orange. Then you will also
need some violet. So the only peaceful color, a half here as basal pink, the rest is normal
colors will be similar, same colors for the CS as well. Anyway, let me swatch them out. I will start with pistol pain. If have a pastel pink, you can use it directly. And if you don't have one, please check out a
peaceful color section where have explained how you
can create a similar color. So that's the first
color you will need. It can be slightly different. It doesn't really matter. Just go with any
kind of pastel pink. Now the second color you
will need us orange. So what I'm going
to West, I will mix a little of orange with a space look pink to create
a beach kind of a color. That means patch it out. We, they need some more orange. So that's a clue. You can see how beautiful it is. Just to mix up some orange,
what baseload pink. And that's the color,
the center of the sky. I'll be using this color. And at the bottom, it's more of a pink than alone, making the color
lighter as we go up. Then to make the sky a
bit more interesting, I'll be introducing some violet. You can see those MindTap introduced along
the horizon line. That's violet. I guess those are the three colors
I'll be using for the sky, as well as for the C. Now coming to the next
two colors you will need what is quite obvious by
looking at the painting itself, which is brown and paints gray. If you don't have brown,
just go with bonds. The one I'm using here is
brown from Art Philosophy. And that's a major color
I'll be using for the rocks. Then to introduce some texture. I'll be using some paints gray. The last color is Payne's gray. If you don't have Payne's gray, just go with black
or neutral tint. That summarize the
closer you will need for our second peaceful sky. The oil, diesel color, I'm callings for
this painting as blue and pink tech on the basal Colors section to know how to
create this color. The restaurant normal colors, this monosomic soft
pink and some orange, the rest of the violet, brown and Payne's gray. I'm pretty sure you may have
similar colors with you. So now it's time
to give it a try. So prepare colors in advance
if you don't have them, have fixed my paper
onto my table. They also have the Colors ready. I have pink, orange,
as well as wireless. Now I'm starting by
adding horizon line, which is a little below
the center of the paper. That I also need
to add some rocks towards the right side. Am I going to huge rocks
towards the right side? You can combos you painting, how will you been to if you want to add them
towards the left? That is totally okay. So
that's the first one. Then I'm adding another
one towards the bottom. Have to huge rocks here. For now. This is all
we need as we paint. We can modify the shape, and also we can add some
tiny rocks onto the scene. Okay, so that's a sketch. Keep it ready and keep
your Colors ready. As I mentioned earlier,
we'll be starting with pink, then towards the center,
introduce some orange. Then we'll make it
lighter towards the top. Then towards the horizon line, we will introduce some violet to make it a little
more interesting. Okay, so that's the plan. Now the first step is to apply a code of
water on the sky. We are using wet on
wet technique here, which means we will have
to even live with the sky. And for that, I'm using
my one-inch Wash brush. You can use any of
your wider brush, but make sure it is
claimed before you start. Apply a nice shiny code. Make sure this even run
your brush multiple times, just to be sure it is even. My skies evenly wet. Now, we can start applying
the colors for that. I'm using my flat brush. This one's a half
and Flat bridge. Looks like it wasn't clean. There was some leftover paint on it anyway, I have cleaned it. Now. I'm going to start by applying
some pink onto the sky. I'm hoping you all have you
read really on your palette. You can go the ready
available pain or it can mix and
create your own. Now, I'm applying them along the horizon line
using a flat brush. I haven't added lot of water. I'm using a very rich paint. Now. I'm adding that
around the rocks. Became more pain Adding that almost
one-third of the sky. How many people colors with me? But this is the one
that I use the most disliked the name says it's a beautiful and brilliant pink. Anyway. Next time
switching to orange, mixing that with a bit of pink to create that
beautiful beach color. Now I'm applying that right next to pink and I'm
blending that together. Now for the rest, we need to make it lighter. So I'm cleaning my brush. I'm just making it
lighter. As I go up. Towards the bottom, we
have a bright color and towards the top we
have made it lighter. Okay, so that's the base layer. If you want to introduce more
color, you could do that. You can introduce some
pink or some peach. I feel like the orange dawn
is not quiet prominent. So I'm adding a bit more
orange into the same mix. Now, introducing
that into the sky. Okay, now that orangeish
pink is more prominent. To be honest, it doesn't
a huge difference, but this just a slight
orangeish tone. Anyway, let's quickly
go the next color. For Wash. I'm going to pick up a bit of
wireless enabled love pink, mixing them together to create a beautiful,
peaceful wireless. Now, imagine that towards
the horizon line. I'm just adding that will heal. I don't want to sky
to be too dramatic. I wonder various
soft and subtle sky. Now I'm just munching
that into the background. Greater soft pads my sky. Before I call it done, I'm just going to
introduce some paint at the bottom just to make
the horizon line straight. So well, let me pick
some all paint. The same wallet I created. You can either create a basal violet by adding
some white into it. You can just mix that while it with any of the
basal plane that are using all the one who
created. That's all you need. Because we're not going
to use a lot of wallet. We're just adding
some streaks onto the sky to create a
visual interests. And that's it. That's my sky. You can see how
quick and easy it was and it turned
out so beautiful. Now let's leave it for trying. Okay, So this guy has dried completely and I'm an absolute
law with the clothes. It's a very soft and some
bully at a very dreamy sky. I cannot tell you how much
allowed this column companies. Anyway. Next, our task was to
paint the scene forward. I'm using the same colors and I already had
them on my palette. I'm starting with pink. For this step, you
can use it onto a ship that is more
comfortable with you. Anyway, I'm gonna
pick some water. And I'm going to add that with this pink I already
have on my palette. At the same thing I used
earlier, brilliant paint. Now I'm going to apply that
on the top part of the sea, closer to the horizon line. And what's the bottom? I will introduce some violet. I only want something
on the top. The rest is going to
be mostly violet. To carefully apply that following the outline
of those rocks. Now I'm switching to violet. The same brush. I'm adding some violet. I'm adding a little of that
basal paint I have left on my palette to create
a basal violet. Now for the rest, I'm
using this color. You can see the color I'm using. Even you can go with
this method or can simply add invite
and your wireless. Or I can use while Tacitus
just go with a lighter value, the color will be
a bit transparent, but you will still get
a beautiful result. Okay? So start with the pink and apply violet onto the remaining
area towards the bottom. It doesn't need to be
smooth, clean blend, just apply the paint. Will be adding some lines onto the water to create
that movement. So it doesn't need
to be a clean blend. Now before I do that, I'm going to pick a
darker value, violet. I'm adding that towards
the bottommost area. Towards the top, along the horizon line,
I have some pink. Now I'm adding some
deeper tones, Antoni, these rocks as the
last word to bottom. You can add a mask,
some simple lines. It does need to have any
particular thickness or Size. Just simply add them onto the wet background
using a round brush, Flat Brush, any brush
that you prefer. If you're using a Flat Brush
is the tip of your brush. And add some lines. Simply add some lines
onto the background. Don't add a lot of lines. We want that being to be
there in the background. Don't completely get rid of it. That is nearly done. Maybe I will add some more
violet to at the bottom, especially underneath
the rocks to create some more shadows
and deeper values. I might even have mostly on to this corner that I
have these rocks. And that's it. We're done with the C I'm actually really happy
with weight as toned out, especially I love the
color combination. Now let's leave it for trying to see it has dried completely and the colors are
still very vibrant. I really liked this part where we have the
pink and a wireless. Anyway, it's time
to paint the rocks. For that, I'm going to use
some brown and paints gray. You can either use
brown, our bond zaneena. First I will squeeze
out some paint onto my palette that is prominent, drawn from Art Philosophy. Now, I will also need some paints gray to
add the deeper values. Alright, so the colors already. Now to paint the rocks, I'm going to use around crush. You can use any of your
medium-sized brush. Size, number a time crunch, you can go with enough
pressure for your child's. First, I will start
with this section here, the one at the bottom. Then after that, I will
paint the one behind it. I'm starting with a
medium tone of brown. And I'm going to apply
that onto this anti-dog. Just fill it up. Don't add a lot of water. We need a medium
to darker value. Simply fill it up. Then gradually we can introduce
a deeper value to create some texture using buoyancy. Now the color will be
slightly different. This one is more
of a reddish brown and bounciness more
of a yellowish brown. There'll be a slight
difference in the color, but don't
worry about it. You can use bonds
in an odd power. Both of them has its own beauty. I have a playground onto
that anterior area. Now with the same brush, I'm picking some paints gray. And I'm going to
randomly drop that onto the brown background to
create some rocky texture. So simply dropping your paint. You don't need to worry about how it is looking right now. Just focus on adding
them by the backroom, the silhouette, that's only
thing have to worry about. It will leave a nice
texture when it dries. I'm adding this deeper
values mostly on to the calmness than allegedly
onto the surface. So first I will add some
onto the left corner. Then on to the SOPHAS. Ask for last what to write
onto this corner of asphalt. Introducing some deeper value. That's a plus section. Now let's bring the other
one right behind us. I'm starting with paints gray. And I'm adding that right behind us to create some shadows
and some texture. Your background might be
slightly, but that's okay. We can apply your pain, try to lay or if you want to, you can be to the other one to try envelope that shape
and create those shadows. Okay. Now I will simply add some
deeper value at the bottom. Then towards the top, I
will introduce brown. So I'm just trying to only
having some times now cleaning my brush and
picking some brown. And I will simply fill
up the rest of the idea. For the first stroke
we add and Tom first. Then we introduced
some deeper value. Now we are adding paint
in the opposite way. Now I'm going to adding
paint over here and give it a nice sheet and fill it up. I have a little area
left on the side. I will simply fill letter. And you can see the
texture we have created. You can to try to Paint
how will you want to? You can either start with
brown or with paints gray. How you are going
to end up having some nice texture on the rock. That is what matters. Now, I'm picking
some more Payne's gray to define the
shape will heal. Adding that deeper tone
and also fixing the shape. I'm just dragging my brush into the background,
leaving some texture. I'm not fooling any particular
ruler pattern here. I'm just adding that paint to create some rough
and architecture. If you want to add some at the
bottom, you could do that. Next, I'm going to add some tiny Mountains
along the horizon line. To define that
horizon line petal. I'm using brown color here. I'm adding a tiny mountain. This one is really far. So go the similar size. This is just optional. I just thought of adding
some mountain here to define the
horizon line. Okay? So if you're adding code with
a similar size or it can totally skip it, I'm
adding one more. Okay, so that's a horizon line. Now using that taco tone, I'm adding through tiny rocks on the scene right next
to this beaker one. Have a lot, two or three. Again, go to similar size. Don't make it too huge and only add them very
have the taco value. So I think that is
looking pretty nice. I'm not adding any on the side because we don't have
any deeper value there. It is mostly pink
and a medium tool. But on the right side we
have some tipo value. So we don't need to add
a new to production. It will go well with
the background. If you want to add some more
box, you could do that. But just be very
mindful about the size. They are going to
add any texture or any details onto it.
It is super tiny. So that's how we are done
with our second peaceful sky. I'm really happy with the colors and enter your field
at this painting. It is really dreamy. Before you pick up
the Masking tape, it will be a great idea to
lead to try and completely. Otherwise, when you're
peeling off the masking tape, it made above your paper. So give it enough time for
that to dry completely. Mine has dried, so I'm going to gently peel off
the masking tape. And here's our Dreamy basal sky. I hope you all liked it. If you want to make
it more interesting, you could add some parts. You can add a cluster of birds
flying off to the n'est. That will mean the sky. It will most pressure theater try to give it a try and let
me know if you liked it.
8. PROJECT 03 - Evening by the Sea: Our next piece of sky
is a lovely blend, dark gray and pink. It's a beautiful
color combination with the right amount of detail. So the painting as a symbol
composition of a Sky, see some huge rocks. So first, I'm going to take you through the
colors you will need. Then we can start with
all painting right away. It is totally okay to go the different color
combination of your choice. I'm just going to show you
the colors I have used here. The two colors you will
need as gray and pink. The Great Harvest
here is Payne's gray. It's a mix off paints
gray and a bit of white. Okay. So you will need
some paints gray. Along with that, will also
need some white watercolor. Titania gray into
our basal version. The next color you will need, it's a peaceful pink
or a peaceful orange, or in epistle color
of your child. This is the one
I'm going to use. It's called shell pink. It has a slightly
orange tone to it. It's not really a pink. I have a tough paint
on my palette. So let me show you the color. See that it's more
like a baby pink, the color you see
on baby clothes. That's the second color
I'm using for the sky. Now you can see some texture on these rocks to add that
have used to create color with just a mix of
paints gray and a bit of white is the same color
for this guy, asphalt. So that's a color as a simple mix off
paints gray and white. Okay, So those other
colors you will need, you will need three colors. Green screen, any of
your peaceful paint. Along with that, it will also
need some white watercolor. I'm pretty sure
you all have pins gray or neutral center black. So that's a major color
you will need for the sky as well as for the Sea. And also put the rocks. You can choose to add white or not. That's totally your choice. And if you don't
have shell pink, just go with any Bissell
pink of your choice. If you wanted a similar
orangeish pink, just add a tiny bit of
orange into your basal pink. So just keep your colors really, if you want to try
creating that callow, please do that in advance before you start
painting the sky. Okay, so I hope you guys
are clear with the Colors. Now keep them ready and
let's give it a try. I'm starting by
adding horizon line. Then I will also need to
add those huge rocks. I'm adding one to
the right side. Really huge one. You can go the similar size
or it can make it smaller. We can add the remaining
details has to paint for now, simply added up shape. Now I'm going to add another
one on the left side. Will be using really
taco value for rocks. So we can modify the
shape when you paint. Now, I'm adding another
one on the left side. This one is not as
huge as other one. Just to create a
visual interest, I'm playing with
different sizes. I think that is looking reward. Maybe we can make
it a bit bigger. Some extending that
until the horizon line. Okay, so that's the sketch. Now we can start
preparing the close. As I mentioned at
the beginning of using gray and a
pink for the sky. If you already have a
Greek letter with you, you can use that directly. Or it can mix up that
are white watercolor into paints gray to
create a similar color. I'm not going to use this one. I will make sense,
create my own cray. Cray that I have with
me is really light, and that's not the color I want. I want a bit more darker gray. This one has a mix of black
pigment and a white pigment. And that's exactly how I'm
going to make my cray. Okay, So those are the
two colors I'll be using Payne's gray
and shell pink. We can go with any
peaceful pink or basal orange shopping as a
slightly orangeish pink. If you want to create
a similar color, you can add a tiny bit of
orange into your basal paint, or you can just go with basal
pink or basal orange acids. Okay, So those things
are your choice. This is the pigment
number nine and PW six. Now along with us, I will also need some
white watercolor to turn my pen screen
to a basal cray. Okay, so we have
the Colors ready. Now for this painting, we're going to use better and better
technique for the Sky. Which means the first
step is to upload clean code of water
onto the anterior sky. And here's the brush I'm using. It's a one-inch Wash brush. Now I'm picking some clean water and I'm applying
that onto the sky. We just need to shiny code. So don't add a lot of
water and our new brush multiple times just to be
sure to go to water-saving. I hope you all have the
Colors ready on your palette. That's really important
before you start painting. As we using pastel Colors. And everyone may not
have basically colors. So it is important to mix your colors in advance
before you start painting. Okay, so my skies evenly wet. Now I'm going to keep
this Brushes side and I'm switching
to my flat brush. This one has a
half-inch flat Trish, and that's the one I'm
going to use to Paint. First, make sure
your brushes clean Now I'm starting with
this beautiful painting. It is called shell pink
instrument brand culture. It's a Korean brand. That's a slightly
orangeish pink, maybe more like a peach color. Now, I'm going to apply this color towards
the horizon line. Then as I go up, I will make the color lighter. I'm picking a much
more brighter tone and applying that along
the horizon line. It's a really beautiful thing. I just love this color. This is the only painting,
but I'm missing shell pink. For the rest. I'll be mostly
using trillion paint. I just want to show you
how beautiful this colors. That's why I
included this class. Okay, so I have adipose glow. I have made it slightly
lighter towards the top. I'll just make the
horizon line Street and then they can switch
to the second color. I'm cleaning my brush
and I'm going with gray. You can either use
Greek letters, just add some water and
go to lighter value. All we can mix a bit of
white watercolor into it to turn data into
an oblique ray. Have mixed some Payne's
gray with white, and that's a color I'm using. We can add a bit more white, make it lighter.
So that's a clue. Now, just like it
it earlier as I'm coming down and making
the color lighter. Towards the center, I want a lighter gray and lighter pink. And on the top and the bottom, I want brighter shades. So that's a base layer. It is simple blend of two
colors, pink and gray. Now I'm going to add
some streaks onto the sky to make it a
bit more interesting. I'm using the same trash. I'm picking some gray. And using the tip of my brush, I'm going to add some
lines onto the sky. I don't want the paint
to be too watery. If you paint is too watery, dabbing on a paper towel
before you add these lines. I'm adding one or
what? The center. But I have this lighter green. Then I'll be adding another
line that I have pink. You can use it on
brush or a flat brush. If using a flat brush, just use the tip and
add a line like Pat. And I don't want to make
this guy too dramatic. So I'm not going to add a lot. I think I will add
one more line over here with the same color. Okay. So that's a sky. You can feel your pain
is really watery. Tablet on a paper towel. Before you add these lines so that they won't spread a lot. You will get them as lines. And that's the
beauty of the sky. We don't want them
to spread a lot into the sky and create
a dramatic effect. We want them to be
really soft and subtle. Okay, so that's what sky. I really liked, the
Soft and simple colors. I think it's a beautiful
color combination. This is the first time I'm using this color combination
for a sky. And I definitely think I
should add some clouds or maybe some more elements and I should explore it a lot. Anyway, that's what sky now
we can lead for trying. Okay, So that is
dried completely. Now we can start being the Sea, for which again, I'm using gray. Before you start
applying the paint, make sure you sky has
dried completely. Otherwise, the Colors
me spread into the sky. Now I'm picking a gray color the same way I created earlier. It's a mix of paints,
gray and a bit of wide. This time the colors
a bit more darker. Now I'm going to apply that
onto the anterior safest. Then gradually we can
introduce some texture. So carefully apply that
along the horizon line. Need a straight line heal. Okay, so that's the
color I'm using. Now. I'm going to simply
fill up the rest. Then onto that we can introduce some texture using
a smaller brush. If you actually add any paint onto those rocks,
that's totally okay. Just have an idea where
you want to add them. Now simply fill up the rest. For this, I'm using solid color. I'm not making it
lighter or darker. Let's just agree. And I'm filling up the NTSC. That's a base layer.
Now I'm going to keep this pressure side and towel
take out a smaller brush, a smaller round brush. I'm just keeping this one aside. And the brush, I'm using a
size number six round brush. And I'm going to slightly
darker tone of gray. We're going to add
some lines onto this wet background so you can use any of your smaller brush or any brush with a pointed tip. Now, debutante to Paper towel, if you feel the pain is really watery and right where
you have those rocks, just add some lines. The paint shouldn't
be too watery. You can see the way
how I'm adding them. The paint is really watery. They will start spreading a lot. So just go to Paint
which is not too watery. At the background is still wet Now simply add some lines
onto the Enter you see. First-time adding those lines
onto the Enter you see. Then gradually either focus on the videos right underneath
the rocks. Over there. I want the lines
to be more darker as it will be shadows and
deeper values around the rock. Okay, so let's pick
a darker value and add some more lines are
right underneath the rocks. Just have them onto
the wet background that simply add some lines on either side. But
you have the rocks. This way we have different
tonal values of grain, the background, and that will make it look more
beautiful and realistic. Okay, so that's the right side. In a similar way,
I'm going to add some lines underneath
the other rock, asphalt. So pick a darker value. Just add some yellow
color line underneath the rock to create the shadows and the
movement of the water. The shape of the rock that you
added all you might not be completely visible right
now, but that's okay. Just have it off it in your mind where you want to add the rock. And right below that part, simply add some lines. Now, I'm going to add few
lines over here, asphalt. I'm planning to add
a tiny mountain far away somewhere over there. So that's a background. If you want to add some more
lines, you could do that. I think I have added enough. I'm quite happy with
the way desk tone down. Now let it dry completely. And after that we can
start when the rocks we have paint the
sky and the scene. Now it's time to
paint the rocks. For that. I'm going to pick some Payne's
gray really taco value. My very first tip is
to simply fill up that entire shape and the
darker value of paints gray. You can use black
on your charts. And if you don't
have Payne's gray, simply fill up that shape. As I said earlier,
if you want to modify the shape,
this is the time. If you want to make it bigger, or do you want to
modify the shape? Do that right now. You can see the color I'm using. It is super dark. Now I'm going to fill
up that entire sheet. So that's the first one. I wanted some Loewy
I'm going to paint that the one on behalf
of the left side. Again, as I said earlier, if you want to modify the shape, you can do that right now. I have been to the second one. Now to create a visual interest, I'm going to add a tiny one. And on the horizon line. When you're adding different
elements to your painting, whether it is rocks or
mountains or trees. It is always good to play
with different sizes and shapes that will add a lot of realistic
value to your painting. It's a very simple thing, but the visual interests that
can add to your painting is really tremendous. Anyway. That's how it has turned out. Now we can lead us for trying so that a strike completely. Now, our next task was
to add some texture onto these rocks for watch. Using that gray
color we created. Just go with that
Luftwaffe pain to have on your palette gives
a smaller brush. The one I'm using here,
a size number six. Now if you feel your
pain is really watery, dab it on a paper towel before you start
adding this texture. Go the darker gray. Don't add a lot of wide. Now what I'm gonna do is
I'm just going to add some lines onto the rock
to create some texture. Looks like the color I
used was really light. I'm adding more paints
gray to make it darker. Now I'm just hiding some lines following the shape of the rock. There's no particular way
you should be adding it. Just add them,
they're able you want to, to create some texture. I'm adding some more texture to the inner side. Towards
the right-hand. I'm not going to
add any patterns. I'll just leave it as it is. I will add few more lines
from the top, top to bottom. So that's the first stroke. Now a similar way,
I'm going to add some texture onto the
other one as well. This one is really far, so let's just add one or
two lines, and that's it. Now we have one more
left onto that as well. I'm adding some lines
in a very similar way, how I added those lines for
the previous one. See that? Take a look at your painting
and feel like adding some more patterns or
textures equal to that. I'm just going to randomly add some more texture
here and there. Then after that, we will go
with a wet brush to smash it so that those lines
are not really prominent. So first I will add
some more towards the bottom as well
as a bit towards the top. Okay, That's it. This one is looking fine. Similarly, I will add few
more lines for the other one. That I added some more
lines in a very random way. Now what I'm going to do is
I'm going to clean my brush. It is still wet, dab
it on a paper towel, and simply smudge the paint to give it a more softer look. Right now you can see the
lines are very prominent than the every Ralph will gently run a damp brush to give it a more soft
and subtle field. We don't want them
to be too prominent. Okay, so that when it's
done in a similar way, I'm going to smudge
the other one as we have some patterns here. You tamp, brush and
smudge those paint. That's also done. Now there's one last thing
that I want to do. I want to emphasize
the reflections. Right now. It isn't
really visible. So I'm going to take out
some more Payne's gray onto my palette to make those reflections a
bit more prominent. Added those lines while
the background was fit. That's why they are a
bit faded right now. So go the darker value of either Payne's gray or
neutral tint or plaque. And let's add some lines
underneath the rocks. I'm using my size number
six round brush here. It has a very nice pointed tip. Now I'm simply going to add some random zigzag lines
right underneath the rock. Right now, it doesn't look like there's any
movement in the water. So I'm guessing once
I add these lines, it will look a lot better. So will simply add some
lines underneath the rock using a taco value of paints gray or black or neutral tint. Either in a very random way. You can leave the
central asset is you only need to add them
underneath the rock. Got hair, her abdomen. There's nothing to worry. The lines can be a bit wavy and Colby and some of them
can be even zigzag lines. When you're adding them, tried
to leave a gap in-between. Don't add them too
close to each other. So that's how it has turned out. I'm happy with the result, but I also feel like I should
have added some more lines. Anyway, other bit of
the Masking tape. And let's have a look
at the painting. And if it's needed, we
can add some more lines. So here's the result.
What do you guys think? Should we add some more lines? I think it's good to
add some more lines to emphasize more on that
reflection. Okay, let's do it. If you're happy with
your result and if you're familiar
reflections looking okay, you don't need to do the step. Anyway. I'm switching
back to paints gray, and I'm using the same brush and I'm adding some more lines. It is the same thing
that I did earlier, but I felt like I should
add some more lines. That's why I'm repeating
the same stuff. So I'm extending some of
the lines and I'm adding them underneath the
rock. See that? I think it just starting to
look better than earlier. If you guys feel
the theme abdomen, otherwise you can leave
your painting asset is. Now in a similar way. I will add some lines on
the left side asphalt. I'm using arteriole
taco value of pain screen and I'm
simply adding some lines. Well, I'm adding the lines. I'm leaving some
Captain between. They're not touching each other. This way we can retain the
colors in the background. So we have different
tonal values of gray. And that will add about of
beauty to oh, painting. To me, I feel like those lines
mean a lot of difference. So I'm just going to add
some more over here onto this corner and maybe a little underneath that
mountain far away. Okay. So the site is done. I don't want to go
overboard, angelina. It isn't a good shape right now. I will just add some
more lines here and the time I
will call it done. If you want to add some boats onto the sky, you could do that. I think goods could be a good
addition to this painting. Okay, so that's a wrap that
my gorgeous basal Sky. I can internally how much I
love this color combination. That soft pink is
really beautiful. The name of the
color of shell pink. You can create a
similar color by adding a bit of orange into any
of your PESTLE thing. And the reflection is
much better right now. I think it was a good idea
to add some more lines. Okay, so that total painting, I hope you all liked it. If you're here to try to give it a try and let me know
if you liked it.
9. PROJECT 04 - Carribean Sunset: Our next PC Sky is
a colorful sky. So far we have only used
two colors for the sky. For this one be
using three colors. I will start by introducing
you to the Colors. Then we can give it a try. The three colors I'm
going to use for this guy is chamberlain
number two, at least with orange. Then how brilliant pink, which is a pistol pink. Then I'll be using a bit
of turquoise blue asphalt. So these are the three colors
I'll be using for the sky. The turquoise blue I'm
using pure assumption hand. It's a bit different
from the other turquoise blue have seen. This one is more
like a basal color. You will see the
agonist is Watercolor, some starting with this kilo, but is John blurry number two? It's a peaceful orange
or a pistol yellow. Use the same color for
the first painting. So you can go with
the basal yellow or orange. So that's
the first color. Now the next one
has brilliant pink, which again be used for
the previous painting. It's a beautiful, peaceful pink. You can choose to use it readily available peaceful
pink or I can create your own peaceful paint by adding some white into
any of the red color. Next I have here
is turquoise blue. This is the color I was
talking about earlier. It already has some white in it and it's more like
a peaceful people. So that's my third color. If you look at the
pigment number, you can see the speed W6, which means there is
obviously some white in it. The turquoise blue
that you're using might not have white. You can choose to add
some violet origin. Just go with a lighter value. Simply add some water and turn
that into a lighter value. Okay, so that's our third color, and those are the three colors
I'll be using for the sky. Now, along with that, you will
also need to move Colors, which is burnt
sienna and Payne's gray for the road will be using a lighter
value of paints gray. Then for that rocky
landscape on either side, along with paints
gray, we will also need some brown or Ibn Sina. So I will quickly switch out
those two colors as well. This one is bonds
in our function, him will be applying
a darker value, burnt sienna onto the
anterior rocky structure. That onto that to add
some deeper value, will be adding some paints gray. The final color you will
need is paints gray. If you don't have Payne's
gray, just go with neutral tint or plaque. That's impressive colors
you will need for those beautiful
multi-colored Sky. You can choose to
go the same colors, are a different color, FHIR. So those are the
ones I'll be using. Now. It's time to get a
try. For this painting. Unlike the others, we need
to add a pencil sketch. It isn't a complicated one. So I'll start by adding a horizon line a little below
the center of the Paper. So that's my horizon line. Now, on the right side, I'm going to add
that rocky structure starting with an irregular line. You can see this a bit
about the horizon line. Now, I'm bringing that down. Now, taking that to
the Masking tape. That's the basic shape.
Now as you're painting, we can add some texture downward to give it to
more realistic feel. For now you just need
to add our shape. Next, we need to add the
structure on the left side, some starting from here, adding an irregular shape, taking that the Masking tape. So what do you see here is
the Sea and the bottom. You have the crown
as well as a road. From here. I'm going
to add and curvy line to show a nice curvy road. Just from the spine. Add a nice curvy road. More like an S-shape. Make the road narrow
towards the horizon line. And as you're coming
down, make it more wider. Give it a nice shape. Now, as to a painting will be adding
more texture onto the side. For now we can just
leave it acetals. You'll be adding
some texture and some deeper value using
Payne's gray as we paint. So that's what Sketch,
keep it ready. Now will also be adding
some palm trees. On the right side. I'll be adding three
or four of them. There is no need to
add those lines. We can add an acid paint. Now, Cuba Colors ready
before you start. This is really important
because we're using peaceful Colors and some of you may not have them readily
available with you. So mix and create your own colors or keep
them ready on your palette. This is the painting that
we started our worth, and that's exact same color
I'll be using for the sky. I'll be starting
with this color. Then next I will use some pink and turquoise
blue towards the top. To create a visual interests. I'll be applying my paint
and an inclined manner. The technique is
exactly the same, will be blending three
colors for the base layer. But instead of applying the
paint and horizontal way, I'll be applying that
an inclined to be just to create a
different visual effect. I'm starting by applying code of water onto the anterior Sky. You see my one-inch Wash brush. Just make sure your
brushes clean and apply a gentle cold water or
to the anterior sky. My skies even leeway. Now I'm going to start
applying the paint. You can use a flat
brush or a round brush. I'm going to use my
half-inch flat brush. And I'm starting off with that in John,
Brilliant number two. It's a peaceful orange,
yellowish orange. Actually. I just made
sure my brush is clean. Now with this Flat Brush, I'm going to make some paint. And I'm going to apply
that on to the left side. First I will add
the horizon line. Now I'm going to apply the
paint and an inclined to weigh background as well. So they're applying that
paint onto the background. Just add some inclined
line using this color. Okay, So that's the first color. Now I'm going to clean my brush. I'm gonna go the second color, which is epistle pink. Have cleaned my brush. Next I'm picking
some brilliant pink. And again, I will apply the paint and an
inclined to weigh that going that direction and apply your paint and
blend them together. We're still using the
blending technique here, but the only differences, the way we're
applying the paint, usually we apply the paint in
a straight horizontal line. The standard applying
the paint and an ankle or way to create a
visual interest. So that's the second
color. Blend them well. Now I'm going to clean my brush. I'm going with my third color, which is turquoise blue. As I said earlier, this one has a slightly paisley shape to it. You can use any of
the turquoise blue. You can just go
the lighter value. Or I can add a bit
of white watercolor into that color to
create a basal tone. Now will have to blend
pink and turquoise blue. If you want add some more pink. That helps implanting. I'm running my brush in
that angular direction and I'm blending the colors. You can see we have a pistol, orange or pink, as well as a
turquoise blue on the top. The blend is looking
really nice, but to make our sky a
bit more interesting, I'm going to go back with pink. The same brush. I'm going
to add some lines onto this yellowish part to add this line time using
the tip of my brush. This is the same Flat Brush. You can go their own trash if that is more
comfortable for you. So somebody had some lines. We don't need a lot, just add a few to create a
visual interests. I think the blending on the top part can be a bit more better. So I'm picking some more pink and I'm just blending
that with turquoise blue. Okay, that seems better. Alright, So that's my sky. You can see I have
these three colors are basal orange or yellow, then some pink as well
as some turquoise blue. I applied the paint onto wet background and
an angular way. Then I have also
added some lines to create a visual interest. Now, by the time sky drives, I'm constructing the full watch. I'm going to use paints gray. You can use any of your
smaller brush or a medium-size strong Brush and create
a lighter value. Decide a few drops of water. And that's the tonal
value I'm using. It's more of a medium
tone, not lighter tone. Now first, upload that
onto the entire shape. Give it a nice curvy shape, and just fill it up using a medium tone of Payne's gray or black or neutral tint. Any color that you
have with you. Daniel, grayish along that
shape you have added. Just fill it up. Now onto this, I'm going to drop in some taco
value with the same brush. So go to slightly darker
value of paints gray, and simply drop that onto the wet background to
introduce some texture. Just drop that onto
the background. You can see this quite messy. Now, W Bush on a paper towel. Touch those color
into the background. This will leave a
beautiful natural texture. It might look a bit messy
and rough at the moment, but that's totally okay. Many drugs, it will leave
a beautiful texture. So apply a medium
tone of Payne's gray or to the entire background
than atom taco value. Okay, so that's how
the desk turned out. We have the sky as
well as the reward. Now let's leave it for trying. Alright, so this guy
has dried completely and I'm very happy with
the Aedes turned out. Next we can paint
the Sea forward. I'm going to use
some turquoise blue. I already have some Paint
electron my palette. First I will apply
a medium tone of turquoise blue onto
this anterior area. Then onto that we can introduce some texture to make it
look like a water body. Otherwise it will look really flat if you just
apply a solid Wash. Okay? So first start by
applying a medium tone up turquoise blue onto
that entire area. Alright, so I have applied turquoise blue onto
that anterior area. Now to make it look
more realistic, we need to introduce
some texture. So that is our next task. I will just keep
this brush aside and I'm going to switch
to a smaller brush. This one is my size
six round brush. And I'm picking some paints. Gray. Spin is a really
nice pointed tip. So my idea is to add
some random lines onto this background to create a texture
that looks really dark, I need to make the
color lighter. Emory few more drops of water. And using that medium tool, I'm adding some more lines
onto the wet background. This is just to
create some texture. It doesn't need to be perfect, but do not a lot and cover up the anterior background color when to retain that
color asphalt. You can see here, even
though I'm adding some lines that blue
is still there. So that's how you
should be adding. Don't add a lot of lines. And I'll to go the medium tone, dawn go the taco value. Okay, so simply keep on
adding some lines onto that background to give
it a nice texture. Whenever you feel you're
happy with the result, you can just call it time
and leave it for trying. They have been at the sky, the Sea as cholesterol. Now the major element missing is this rocky landscape
on either side. To paint that elements, I'll be using burnt sienna
as well as some paints gray. So keep the Colors ready on your palette before you start. And to paint this, I'm going to use my size number atrium brush. You can go to any of
your medium-sized brush. So they had the stroke key
elements on either side. I'm going to start
with the right side. First, I'm going to
apply a medium tone of burnt sienna or does
that enter your area? Then we can gradually
introduce some texture. You can see the color I'm
using. It's a medium value. You can use brown or black
zaneena and just fill it up. So that's a base layer. Now the same brush, I'm
gonna pick some paints gray. I'm going to add some
lines and inclined to weigh just called
the darker value, and simply apply some lines. Then you can take some
brown paint again. And much ten that we need
some rough texture here, so it doesn't need to be perfect this way it will
look more realistic. So simply add some lines
on to add Webpack Round. Adding the model that
background is really important, so don't wait for longer time. Just apply them. As soon as you have applied paint
onto the background. I'm adding those lines and the inclined way to
create a natural feel. It will also make it look
like the sloping down. You can add some lines
from top towards the bottom as well as
bottom towards the top. Drag your brush and
create some lines. Just give it a try.
You're going to absolutely love the result. It's a simple trick, adding blue deeper value by the
bank industry that makes all the different data
it has turned out, if you want to add multiple
value, you could do that. You can add them from the
bottom towards the top, or from the top
towards the bottom. Okay. So that's the right side. In a similar way, we have to
paint the left side as well. We'll start with
drown. Go to medium to the same way how
we painted earlier. Apply that onto
that entail shape Okay, So the base
layer is ready. Now we can start applying
the default value for what? I'm going to pick
some paints gray. It is exactly the same way
how we painted earlier. I'm adding some deeper value from the top towards the bottom. Artists, like I said earlier, you can add some dachau value from the bottom towards the top, as well as from the top
towards the bottom. Just add them. How
will you want to? We just need some
kind of texture here. Just add them when
tobacco industry, maybe we can add some
multiple value or to the left corner because the sign is much more closer
to us competitor other end. Okay, so quickly add
some deeper value. While the bag on the
silhouette and textured, that's about a little rocky
structure on either side. I'm very much happy with the
research. I think I'm proud. Element made a lot
of difference. The colors are really
beautiful right now. It was kind of dull, but that landscape element
with a lot of difference. Now let's leave it for trying. Then we can add the
final elements. Now, it's time to go the last time deciding the palm trees. I'm going to add them
towards the right side. You can choose to add them
on the right or the left. Now to apply that and creating
a darker value of brown by adding some burnt sienna
as well as paints gray and mixing a
five number 600. Sure, it has a really
nice Pinter to. The first step is to
add the tree trunk, which is just a
simple straight line. That go dissimilar techniques. Next we're going to add a
small oval shape on the top. It doesn't need to be perfect
and irregular oval shape. Okay, So we have the tree trunk and a small shape on the top. Now isn't the same color. I'm going to add some
angular lines, 1,234.5. I have added five lines. Now onto each of them. I'm going to add
some smaller lines and I'm going to fill it up. These trees are really far, so they don't need
to be perfect. Your focus has to be
on the overall shape, not on each and every element. That's my first palm tree. In a similar way, I'm
going to add another one. So let's start with
the tree trunk, which is a straight line. Okay? Now on the top, Let's add a small shape
and irregular oval shape. So that part is also done. Now let's add the lines,
those curvy lines. Now onto each of them. I'm going to add
some smaller lines, mostly on to the tip. I'm not going to fill it up. I don't want it to
be too crowded. So just onto the tip. I'm adding some lines
close to each other. Okay, So those are
the palm leaves. It's very easy just go to try. As I said earlier, they are just focusing on the anterior shape. We just need to get that
overall shape pride. We're not focusing on each and every line or each
and every palm leaf. Next, I'm going to
add a smaller one. Just the same way I did earlier. I'm starting the tree trunk, then adding a small
shape on the top. Next we need to add
those curvy lines. I mostly go with fine lines. If you want to make
it more thick, you can add six
or seven of them. That's totally okay. And also I'm adding the lines only on
to the tip of these lines. I don't want to make it
two tenths and thick. Okay. So that's my
third palm tree. Now in a similar manner, I think I will add two more. Maybe towards the right side. You're happy with
three palm trees. You don't need to add more. I just felt like
adding one more tree, maybe a taller one
right next to this. And maybe just maybe have a
lot more if there is pace. I'm only focusing
on the right side. I'm just going to leave
the left side assets. If you want to add more trees on the left side, that's
totally your choice. Just go ahead and
composite painting. Our you want to okay, so here's my Carribean Sunset. I'm really happy with
the desktop out. Now. I'm going to speed
up the masking tape. Here's the finished painting. I just loved the sky. I think those colors are
looking really good. And even the color of the Sea, everything is
complementing each other. I hope you are likely to
thank you so much for timing. I will see you soon
with the next painting.
10. PROJECT 05 - Lavender Sky: Here's our next baseless chi. It's a very simple
color palette. And as you could see here, I have out of the clouds in a slightly different way to
make it visually interesting. So for the background, how
used to blue and violet? Then onto that I have added
some clouds using wireless. Okay, let's quickly take a
look at a color palette, then we can start with it. I'm not using any pestle
colors for the sky. This is the violet
I'm going to use. It is valid from White Nights and the blue is the same
blue I'll be using for the previous paintings as royal blue. I will
start with blue. You can use any
blue of a choice. We just need to lighter value. You can choose to add white, that's totally your choice. Or by using a lighter
value of royal blue. You can use Prussian blue, cobalt blue, or any other blue. Apologize. Now, with violet, I'll be adding a bit
of white watercolor to give it a more pistol field. That is violet plus
some white watercolor. We can see the colored
is very opaque and creamy. Unlike blue. Those are the two colors
I'll be using for the sky, for the Cloud Tasks, we'll, I'll be using violet. The next two colors
you will need is Payne's gray and sap green. Payne's gray for the road and sap green for the landscape. And we'll also be
using a taco value of Payne's gray to add these loud. Okay, so those are
the next two colors. If you don't have Payne's gray, you can go with black
or neutral tint. That's my third color. The Payne's gray I'm using
here is from RAM trend. Now come to the last
color at a sap green, the spinous from Shanghai. So that's summarized
the colors you will need for this painting. Simple color palette
and simple painting. There is no complicated details. You will need a blue
of your choice. You can use Prussian blue
or any blue have card. Then you will need violet,
Payne's gray and sap green. You can choose to add Y to
the blue as well as violet. Or we can just use lighter
values of watercolor. So that's the colors. Keep them ready so that we can start with your
painting right away. I have fixed my paper. Now. I'm going to
start by adding horizon line with this a little below the
center of the paper. Now we need to add a curvy road. A simple curvy road. Towards the bottom,
it has to be wider. Towards the horizon line,
it has to be narrow. That's a sketch. The rest we
can add as we're painting, we will be adding some rough
plant and some tracing. There is just some rough shapes. You don't need to add them. We can add them as
we're painting. So that's the sketch. Now
let's start painting the sky. As I said earlier
before you start, make sure to keep
the color sturdy, especially the colors you
will need for the sky. That's where we need
about basal close. As we discussed, I will
need some blue and valid for the sky. That's blue. It is blue from now, I will need some violet. This one is from White Nights. Now I'm going to take out
some white watercolor asphalt to turn my violet
into a pixel, violet. Onto the same section, I'm going to squeeze out
some white watercolor. So we have the colors ready. Now, I'm going to
start by applying coat of water onto the sky. It's going to be wet on wet sky. Before you apply
water on the sky, make sure your brush is clean. I use this brush only to
apply water onto the sky. So it is clean. If you're using the same brush
for painting as well, you always have to make
sure your brush is clean before you apply
water on the sky. Especially when you're using
lighter values for the sky. Gently apply coat of water
onto your entire sky. And that's it. My
sky is evenly wet. Now let's start
applying the paint. I hope you guys are the
colors ready on your palette. Now for the base layer, I'm using a flat brush. I will apply a
variegated wash of blue and violet using a flat brush. Then to add the clouds, I will use a smaller
round brush. So I'm using a lighter
value of blue, applying that on the
top using a flat Trish. No matter which blew, you're single the
similar tonal value. Now, I'm going to
make it lighter. Clean your brush. And Aboriginal people travel. If it's too watery, then run your brush to
make it lighter. Next, we can introduce violet. I'm going to create
a basal violet by mixing a little of white. If you don't want to add
white, that's totally okay. Just go with a lighter
value of wireless and start applying that on the
bottom and go towards the top. Okay, so that's the
color I'm using. It's a mix of violet and
white. It's emitting value. Now, I'm going to
make it lighter. As I go up. Towards the
top and the bottom, I have more brighter
tones. Towards the center. I have made the colors lighter. Now I'm blending them. So that's a base layer. If you want to introduce
some more paint, you could do that while
you're back on the still wet. I'm pretty happy with
the background. Now. I'm going to keep my flat brush aside and I'm switching to
a round brush right away. And we're going to
add some clouds onto this wet background. I'm using the same wanted
to add the clouds. It is again, it makes
a wallet and white. To add the clouds, I'm using a size number six round brush. Before I start
adding the clouds, I'm just making sure my
paint is not too watery. Now, let's start
adding the clouds. Just going to be some lines, but I'm adding them in a way that you can choose to
go in a similar way. Or we can add the
mass straight lines. That's totally
your choice and go the same color combination and modify it according
to what you like. Now, I'm adding some on the top. But how blue? See that? Honestly it is the same
technique that we used earlier, but this time I thought
of adding the lines in a slightly different
way to make it a bit more dramatic
or interesting. The colors are not too dark. They are mostly medium-term
and lighter tones, and that's the beauty
of this painting. Now I will add few more. I'm already happy
with the result, but maybe I can add a
few more. At any point. If you feel you're
happy with the result, you want to stop
to stop it there. Just because I'm adding few more extra lines doesn't mean you should be
doing the same. I feel like adding
some more clouds using a slightly brighter value. And that's what I'm
doing right now. I'm happy with the sky. So I think I should stop it there before I go
ahead and draw in it. Anyway, that's a sky. I'm pretty happy with the colors and the
weight is looking. So we'll leave it for trying. Alright, The sky is ready. You can see how
beautiful Testament out. We played a bit, but this line, we added them in a cool way, and that's the result. I think it's pretty interesting. Anyway, next, let's
paint the road forward. You will need some Payne's gray. I have the habit of leaving my Irish Turkey, so
I just cleaned it. Anyway. Let's take out some Payne's gray and start
painting the road. Payne's gray is the
color which has a slightly granulating property. And that is perfect
to paint the roads. Because of the
granulating property, it leaves a nice texture
where the paint has dried. So we'll let's apply
a lighter value of Payne's gray onto the
anterior road first. I'm also taking on some sap green so that the
colors are ready. Now to apply the base layer, I'm using my size number
eight round brush, just making sure it is cleaned. First, we can start
with a medium tone and let's apply that
onto the anterior road. Then we can add some
texture using a taco value. Okay, so that's the
color I'm using. Apply that carefully along
the outline and fill it up. The Payne's gray I'm using is from a brand called Rembrandt. It's a beautiful paints
gray eyes as loud as fun. I have dried beans grew
from different brands. I allow the one from
White Nights asphalt. This Payne's gray,
slightly bluish, and that's a major
reason why I love it. Some of them are more grayish. Anyway, I have applied
paint onto the road. I have used a medium
tone of Payne's gray. Now with the same brush, I'm going to pick
a darker value. First. I'll fix the shape
here. That's ready. Now let's pick a darker value. And I'm actually
dropping that onto the wet background to
create some texture. I'm adding the deeper
values only at the bottom. I don't want to
make the top area more darker as it gets closer to the horizon line.
So that's it all. Now let's leave it for trying. That has drive and you
can see those texture. It really looks nice. I love using Payne's gray for a monochrome
painting, fast food. Anyway, let's start painting the landscape on either side, for which I'm using sap green, as well as some Payne's gray
to have a deeper value. So first I will start
with sap green. I'm using the same brush and I'm applying a medium
tone or to that intersection, go with a nice fresh green and apply that onto
the anterior section. Then gradually we can
introduce some people value. Otherwise it will
look very flat. So it is very important
to add the deeper value and some texture to make
it look more realistic. But for the base layer, just go with a medium value of sap green and apply that
onto ventricle section. We have some more radio
left at the bottom. So carefully run your
brush along the outline of the road and fill that section. Okay, so that's the base layer. Now let's start introducing the depot value with the same brush and picking
some Payne's gray. And I'm going to add that
onto the bottom part. I'm just adding some lines and some random shapes and patterns To bring some texture
onto the background, it doesn't need to be perfect. We're just adding them
onto wet background so they will slightly spread.
That's totally okay. It is part of the process. So at the bottom to
create some shadows and some texture and
some Depot value. And that's all you have to do. You can see here, I have added some deeper value at the bottom, and it looks a bit weird. So to make it a
little more natural, I'm going to add few more
lines or to the output side, the same trash and
at the same color. Just a few teeny-tiny lines
and some random shapes. I think it looks better now, we can add few more
lines on the top. You can add multiple value
however you want to. The major idea is to leave
some lighter value on the top and introduce some taco value along
the bottom line. That's a full section.
In a similar way, we have to pay in the other
section on the right side as well. Let's start with that. First, we need to
begin with sap green. When switching back to sap green and apply that onto
this entire section. Then gradually we can
introduce deeper value, just the same way
how we did earlier. I'm almost reaching
the bottom part. So I thought I will introduce some deeper
value right away. I have taken some Payne's gray and I'm adding that with
the bottom-most area. What I've loved to
add some lines and some random shapes onto the background to
introduce more texture. So first let's apply that taco value at the
board and fill it up. Then we can introduce some
more shapes and some lines. You can already see how
beautiful desk turned out. You'll have to introduce
some more deeper value. I'm picking a bit
more Payne's gray. First I will add that
onto this corner. Then I will add few more
lines onto the surface. Hello, back onto still wet. So when you add these lines, they will look a little
soft and subtle. And that is exactly
what we need. We don't want them to be too
prominent and too rough. Alright, so that's a background. I'm very much happy
with the colors and the entire weight
is looking right now. There's a beautiful contrast and the sky is really pretty. I hope you guys are
happy with this guy too. Now, let's leave it for trying. Now it's time to add
the final details. We need to add them so
loud, long horizon mind. And that's our last
step. For that. I'm using Payne's gray. You can either use
Payne's gray or it can go the darker
value of green. It's going to be
some simple shapes. American food absorb water. And I think that
would be enough. The brush I'm using
a size number six. It has really nice pointed tip. So I can add these fine
details using this brush. You can go with a smaller brush or any brush with
the pointer tool. Now, I'm going to
start by adding this allowed on the right side. First I will add a straight line just to define the horizon line. Now, I will add some
random shapes on the top to make it look like there are some plants
and trees far away. We are adding these details, try to go at different heights. I will start with a
shorter height here. Then as I'm going towards the
end, I will make it higher. So when you play with
different heights, it will add a natural
feel to your painting. Okay, so first add a
random shape. You can add. How will you want
to then fill it up either with a darker green or
just means great athletes. Half of it is done. Now similarly, let's atoms allowed onto
the left side has four. I think you just not
really necessary to add this allowed
on the left side. While painting is quite
pretty this way as well. So does your choice
whether you want to fill it up or you're
on liquid assets. Okay, so decide on what
you feel is best for your painting and finish
it off as you wish. Hello. All right, and with that, we're done with our painting. Now it's time to peel off the masking tape because it's simple painting compared
to the other ones we did. It doesn't have a
lot of details. Will be painted a beautiful lavender sky and a large field. I really liked the color
combination and the contrast. I hope you all like ditto. And here's a closer
look of the painting. I really enjoyed
painting the sky. It is just a matter of adding
those lines and echoey way. And I think it turned
out pretty nice. I hope you all
enjoyed it as well. Thank you so much for joining, and I'll see you back soon
with the next baseless guy.
11. PROJECT 06 - Dreamy Pink Sky: The softness my moles AAA, peaceful sky from
the NTA collection. I just love how simple yet. So car this, it looks especially the mountain and the color contrast we have here. It's a very simple painting. You can do this in
less than 15 min. So first I will take you
through the color palette. Then we can start with the
try to wait for the sky. I will be using three
colors are what is a red? Orange. Ask the last paint. I will be using a
medium tone afraid. On the top, the color
I have used this pink. Then towards the center
we have some orange. And towards the
bottom it is red. I will be using the
same peaceful Pink. This one is brilliant pink. You can go with any PQR. Carter can mix and create your own by adding some
white into right? That's a pigment number. Anyway, if we will need
some great for the sky. So along with that,
you can add some white to turn that
into pixel Pink. Okay, so that's what's color. The next two colors you will
need as orange and red. These are the two
colors I'll be using, brilliant orange and Petrograd. You would only need
a little amount of red towards the bottom. If you don't want to use red, you can just use pink
for that asphalt. The physical or you will
need is Pink, a basal Pink? It looks like my
Brushes not clean. Let me clean that up. Okay. Now that mismatch out
that color again, it's the same thing I
have been using earlier. So you all are quite
familiar with this color. It's brilliant paint
from Shanahan. Now, the next color you
will need this orange. If you don't have
orange code vermilion, or you can add a tiny
bit of yellow into war million to turn that into
more like an orange. We won't be using the
color in this strength. We will add some water and
we will make it lighter. That's very bright orange. So that's our second color. Now coming to the third
one, purchase rate. So all these three colors
I'm using is from Xin Han. It's a Korean brand. I loved this watercolor pad. It's kind of cheap compared to the other artist
grade watercolors. And they're very pigmented. You can see how reach
the colors are. They were pretty good for me. So how about all the colors
possible from this brand? Anyway, that's the third
color, will be clear, the variegated wash of these
three colors for the sky. Then onto that will be
adding some clouds. To add the clouds
will be using a mix of red and a bit
of Payne's gray. Next color as paints gray will be adding a tiny
bit of red with it to create a reddish cream maybe will be using that
color to add the clouds. We will also use
Payne's gray to add a default values
on the mountain. So that's our next color. Now for the mountain, I wouldn't be using any brown. What I'm gonna do was I
will make some paints, gray and red together to create a beautiful
reddish brown. Because anyway, I have
this colors on my palette. So I thought it makes
more sense to just use him rather than
taking out a new color. And it will get a
beautiful Khloe. See that it's a mix of
Payne's gray and trade. Okay, so that's the color I'll be using for the Mountains. Alright, so that's summarize all the colors you will
need for this painting. Now it's time to give it a try. I have my paper ready. First. I will record all the
colors onto my palette. Then I will add sketch. We need to add a
sketch of a mountain. Okay, so let's do that. You'd have to make your Colors ready before you start with the painting so that you won't
lose any time in-between. I will need some pink, a bit of red, and some orange. I said earlier, if you want to skip using red,
you could do that. On the top and the bottom. You can use Pink. And
two at the center, you can use orange. Now, along with these
colors for the sky, I will also need some paints
gray to add the clouds. So I'm taking out that as well. So that in-between, I don't need to rush and
take out any paint. So I have the Colors
ready on my palette. I would recommend you
doing the same as full. Pick out the colors
and keep them ready on your palette
before you start. You don't really need to add
a sketch of the mountain. We can add that as we paint. So we'll start a blank or the water onto the entire paper. And let's start with the sky. Make sure your brushes clean before you start applying water. We don't need a lot of water. Just go the nice shiny code. Don't add any pools of
water onto the paper. So keep running a Brush multiple times just to be sure that
the code of water is even. Okay. Use a nice flattering, preferably a clean one. Alright, so my skies evenly wet. Now let's add a
blind colors onto this wet background
using a flat brush. This is the one
I'm going to use, the half inch flat brush. Now I'm starting well
with some grade. I will go from bottom
towards the top. I'm picking some
trait, a medium tone. And I will add that
at the bottom. Then towards the center, I will use some orange
and towards the top, I will use some pink. That's the plan. So I'm adding that medium
tone onto that parkland You can add that in the bottom, will be adding of a
mountain or hill. So the palette
wouldn't do any harm. That is right. In the next time, switching to orange
with the same brush. I'll pick colors, love orange, and add that right next. Alright, and I will blend
the colors together. The colors I'm using
here is quite bright. You can water down and turn that into any
kind of tonal value. That is red and orange. Now I'm cleaning my brush
and I'm switching to Pink with a nice pretty paint. And apply that on
the remaining area and just blend the colors. There's pingos,
really nice. Okay. Now I'm blending
that with orange. Alright, so that's a base layer. I'm pretty happy
with the colors. I have some nice and
bright colors at the bottom and the light
to turn on the top. Now before this dries, we need to add our clouds. And for that, I'm
using a round brush. This one is size number six. Go with any of your
medium-sized strong Trish. We don't have a lot of time. We need to add them by the
background is still wet. Let's add them right away. To add the clouds, I'm
going to use a mix of red and epitope
gray, Payne's gray. That's a tiny bit of red
and some paints gray. The mix has more red in
it than Payne's gray. Now, I'm dabbing my brush on paper towel just to be
sure it is not too watery. Now with that paint, I'm going to add my clouds
against the other color. It has more red in it
than Payne's gray. Now I will add one more. I won't be adding
a lot of clouds. I just want to add
one or two of them. I don't want to make
it too dramatic. I wanted to soft and assemble sky. So that's the first one. Now I'm adding another one
towards the left side. Just make sure your
paint is not too watery. Paint is really watery. It will start
spreading in a very vigorous and it will usually difficult to control
the rate of spreading. So that's what it's
looking right now. You can add a cloud
towel you want to, if you want to go for
some smaller clouds, you could do that. If you want to make
it more traumatic. That is also to clean attire. Okay. So depending on the color
I have in the background, the color of the clouds
also looking different. You can see on the tile, but
it's looking more pinkish. Because over here we having stripping slope
Pink for the background. Quite obvious, right? Anyway, I really loved that variation
of the color and the clouds. It is making it look more
natural and realistic. Okay, so that's this
guy and really, really happy with
weight as tone down. Now we can leave it for trying. And after that, we can
start adding the Mountains. Alright, so this guy has dried completely and I'm really
happy with the colors. Our next task was to
add the mountain. And for that, I'm using a
size number atrium Trish, go with any of your
medium-size strong Trish. Now the color I'm using is a mix of a right
end paints gray. It's more like a reddish brown. I'm just mixing these
two colors together. Okay, So the color is ready. Now, imagine the
mountain. On the left. I want the mountain
to be able to HIO. And towards the right,
I'm making it lower. So go the very organic sheep. And that's my mountain. Now, I'm going to fill a debit the same color onto a major
part of the mountain, you can apply this color. And towards the bottom, we're going to introduce some
taco value, the same color. Now I'm mixing more
Payne's gray into the same mix with that darker value and filling
up the rest of the bottom. So you can see we have
a more reddish brown on the top and a darker
brown at the bottom. Now it just makes the
paint into each other. It doesn't need to be
a clean, smooth blend. We are trying to
create some texture. It doesn't need to
be a perfect blend. Now what I'm going to
worse for the same brush, I'm just pushing and pulling
the paint towards the top to get rid of
the strong shapes. So just keep dragging
the brush wet at all to get a softer look. Okay, so that's a
little background. Now we need to introduce
more textures. And for that, I will need a smaller brush because it
has a much more pointed tip. I'm using a much more
darker value this time. It has more Payne's
gray then trade. So go with any of your
medium-sized pressure, smallest size brush. And using that
darker value, well, let's add some shadows
onto the mountain. So wherever I have
this pointed tips, I'm adding a shadow
from the center. I'm adding an inclined line And to the left
side of that line, I'm just adding some shadows are just some darker value that I'm adding onto that background. My background is
not completely wet. It just starting
to try and this is the right time so that
it won't spread a lot. As it is not too wet. You can clearly see the shadows and the
shapes I'm adding. Now imagine that what
this bottom part. Now maybe a little
towards the side. So where do we want to
add this darker value? You could do that. You can
see the difference it made. It was a very simple step, but it brought a lot of
different store mountain. Now to add some final
touches with the same brush, I'm adding some lines just
in a very random shape. This part is looking
a little different. So let's add some texture
over there as well. Against the, I'm just
adding some random lines. Sloping way. Just add some rough lines onto the background to create
some more texture. Okay, so that's how the
mountain has turned out. Now before we wrap it up, maybe we can introduce
some more taco value, lego really taco value that
I'm using Payne's gray acids. And first I will add some deeper value along these shadows. Just to let them. We already have enough of
Taco values in the Mountains. So you don't need to add a lot. Just go in a very random way. And just add a few
tiny lines here. And they're just trying to add some more texture
onto the mountain. If they're already
happy with the result, you don't need to add more. You can just leave it acids. Okay, So this is how
it has turned out. Now, I'm going to go
with some final touches. I'm dabbing my brush on paper
towel and a bad try brush. I'm adding few more patterns
or to the mountain. Different patterns
here and there. Okay. We will be done
with of a mountain. I'm not adding a lot. I will just add a few
urine there and that's it. I'm really happy
with this painting. Before I wrap it up, I want to add a tiny crescent
moon onto the right side. I think that would be
a perfect edition. So I'm taking out
some white paint. It is just some white
watercolor. To add them all. I'm using my smallest
brush, size number two. Now, using that brush, I'm going to add a
tiny crescent moon. Maybe you can add
them both tactful, even that will be
a great addition. Okay, So, but that we are
done with all painting. Now it's time to boot
up the masking tape. Shims are Dreamy pieces Sky. I cannot tell you
how much I love this color combination
and the Mountains. The contrast is
really beautiful. And even though soft clouds, I hope you all enjoyed it. If you haven't tried it,
tip to give it a try. Let me know your
thoughts. Thank you so much for joining and
I will see you soon. But the next Pencil Sky
12. PROJECT 07 - Evening by the Meadows: Hello dear friends,
Welcome back. Our next business card is a very beautiful
and peaceful sky. Here's what we're trying Next. My favorite part about this
painting is this color, that vibrant peach color. So let's quickly have a
look at the colors so that we can start with
this beautiful painting. First, I will start
with the colors I'm going to use for the Sky. Obviously three colors. The first colors of blue, I'll be using royal blue, the same color I've been using. You can you see any
blue you have caught? We just need a lighter value. Okay, so that's the first color. I have a bit of paint
left on my palette. I'll add some water because will be using a
really lighter value. It's not a peaceful glow. I'm just adding some water and I'm turning that
into a lighter tone. Okay, so that's the
color I'll be using for the sky on the top part. Now towards the bottom, either be using some
a typical Pink. We have already tried
creating a piece of pink. So I'm guessing you
all are comfortable creating a basal Pink
if you don't have one. Okay, so that's a second color
I'll be using for the Sky. Actually, you can just go with these two colors to oranges. Not really necessary. Just to make it a
bit interesting, I simply added a little of
orange on top of the Pink. Would you will see in some time, either just go with pink can glow or it can just add
a little of orange. Now the next color you see here, as wide it, which is more
like a basal violet. So to create that color,
what have done this? I have just mix some blue
with that basal Pink. See them? Because I already have some pink
and blue on my palette. I taught this is
the easiest way. You can either go
with this color, which is mix off
peaceful pink and blue. By the time you have
done with your sky, you might have some paid left on your palette just to mix them. And that's the color.
You can just use a basal violet or a
lighter value of islet. If you add more
blue into the mix, the color will look different. So yeah, that's a clue I'll
be using for the Mountains. Now coming to the last
to close, which is OPS, you will need a green
and Payne's gray. The green, I'm going
to use the sap green. All the colors has faster out so far is from the
branch in hand. You can go to any brand, have caught, it doesn't
need to be the same brand. And it doesn't need to be
the same colors as well. If you're looking for
a similar result, go with similar colors. Otherwise it's
totally your child. You can just decide on which
colors you want to go up. Now the final colors,
Payne's gray. I'll be using this color to add some deeper
value at the bottom. As well as some
details far away. You can see those
plants far away. Alright, so that's summarized. The Colossi will need
for this painting. Here. As a closer look, you will need some blue, then a basal Pink, then some green
and Payne's gray. Orange is optional. If you want to create
that pride colonial sky, you can take out some oranges
for how the Colors ready, ask some blue, pink, and orange. We already saw the painting. On the top. We will be
applying some blue. Then towards the bottom
will be using Pink, and then a bit of
orange asphalt. Then we'll also be adding
some clouds using blue. So first I'm adding
horizon line. Almost three-fourths of the Paintings going to be the sky. Alright, so that's right. Now the first step is to apply water onto the anterior sky. For that, I'm using my
one-inch Wash brush. Just make sure
your brushes clean before you apply
water onto the Sky. Just a shiny code
is all the knee. So Tranio brush back and forth and make sure
the code of water, stephen, this guy is evenly. Now we can start adding
the paint onto the sky. So to paint the
background layer, I'm using a flat brush. This one has a
half-inch flat brush. Again, make sure it's clean. And I'm going from
bottom towards the top, first-time
picking something. And I'm adding down
along the horizon line. It's a beautiful thing. I just loudest color. Three for that, this guy
is going to be blue. So at the bottom, add some pink. And as you go
towards the center, make it lighter, maybe we can add some more pink
to make it brighter. That looks nice. Now I'm cleaning
my brush and I'm dabbing that on a paper towel and I'm making the spotlight. Oh, okay, so that's a plus pod. Next, I'm going to
pick some blue. I'm adding two drops of water and I'm making bloat
into a lighter tone. I'm not using a basal blue. It is just a lighter
tone of royal blue. And I'm adding that on the top. I'm coming towards the bottom. As I'm reading Pink, I will make the
color a bit lighter. It's a very simply added
cautious color combination. I just love using pink
and blue together. Okay, so that's a background. I have got a beautiful blend. Next, I'm going to
wash this brush. And I'm going to pick
a little of orange. Just a tiny bit. What I'm gonna do is I'm
just going to add that right about the Pink
towards the center. So I'm just adding some color
on the existing background. Just to give it a
more glowy effect. We can add some more orange. When pink and orange
get mix together. It creates a beautiful
peach color. That is exactly what
I wanted on my sky. That's a base layer. I'm pretty happy
with the planet. Maybe we can add a bit tomorrow
Pink towards the bottom. Because I feel we don't
have enough Pink. Otherwise, when we
add the mountain, we won't have any
Pink left and sky. So that's a background. I'm
very much happy with it. Next, we need to add the clouds. For that you will need any of your medium-sized strong Brush. Now, go back with some blue. It can be a bit brighter than
the color you used earlier. And dabbing on a paper towel just to be sure the
paint is not too watery. Now let's start adding the clouds onto this
wet background. I'm adding them right where
the pink and blue is meeting. Keep in mind that
Paint data using to add the clouds should
not be too watery. If it's too watery, it
will start spreading into the background and you wouldn't
be able to control them. So keep dabbing your
brush on a paper towel. If you feel your
pain is too watery. And adult clouds,
how will you want to have added a long cloud and a shorter one at the bottom. Now I'm adding a field
towards the left. You can go to any
shape that isn't a problem at the massive Wash. So that's the first
set of clouds. Now I will add some smaller
ones on the top and the bottom to make it a
little more interesting. So my ideas to add them right, where you have the blue
and pink as meeting. I'm not going to add towards
the top or the bottom. This is where unconcentrated. Now I'm going to add a
few more on the top and the bottom in a much
more smaller size. One over here. Then maybe another
one towards the left. A few on the top. You can compose your painting
however you want to. You don't need to
follow the exact same be how I'm
adding the clouds. At any point, if you
feel your back onto starting to dry,
just stop it there. Don't add any more clouds. Back on the starting to dry. The clouds will look
very rough and patchy. So does better to stop it there and not to add in more clouds. That is a bit of paint
missing on the top. And deciding that back in. Now, I'm going to add a bit
more towards the Syria. And the time I'm going
to call it turn. I'm very much happy with a blend and Colors and the clouds. I don't want to ruin
it by overdoing. You can see the
beautiful color we created by mixing orange and pink is my favorite
part about the sky. Now before I leave
it for drying, I'm just going to wipe off
this paint along the border. Otherwise, it may
float back into the painting and would create a messy bleed along the border. I'm just wiping that off just a little on
the top as well. Okay. So that is done. Now,
let's leave it for trying. Okay, So that is done. Next, let's paint
the landscape part for which you will in some sap green as well as
some paints gray. I'm taking out some sap
green onto my palette. Next, I will need
some paints gray. I will first step is
to add a medium tone of sap green onto
the anterior middle, and then gradually will add a
darker value at the bottom. Okay, So let's
begin for this step again is a Flat Brush or around Trish and missing Flat Brush. And I'm being a medium
tone of sap green. I wonder really bright green. So I'm not adding
a lot of water. Now let's quickly
fill this area. The color I'm missing
here, a sap green. You can use sap
green are reading cream and chest, fill it up Okay, so that a factory. Now with the same brush, I'm going to pick some paints gray. And I'm adding that
at the bottom. On the top, I want
a medium cream. And at the bottom I wonder
color to be really dark. I'm not going to add a lot
of detail onto the metal. Just leaving it as
if you want to add some grassy lines or
if you want to add two more texture onto
it, you could do that. Okay. So the metal was done. That is a base layer. Now we can leave it for trying. And after that will be
adding the mountain. Okay, So that is
dried completely. I'm really happy
with the colors. You can see that
beautiful contrast we have achieved here. Our next step is to
add the Mountains. For that, you will have
to create a basal violet. I already have some pink
and blue on my palette. And I'm going to
mix them together. To create a basal violet. It doesn't need to
be basal violet. You can also use any
of the wildcard. Just add some water
and turn that into a medium tone and you start
color to add a mountain. I have some paint
left on my palette. So I just thought
of making yourself that that's the color
I have created. See that it's a mix of
Berlin Pink and royal blue. Now using that color,
I'm going to add a mountain along
the horizon line. I think the color can
be a bit more darker. So I'm adding more blue.
Okay, that seems nice. Now using that color, I'm
going to add the mountain. Go to some the height.
Don't make it too huge. We are trying to
make it look like the smell just really far. So goddess and the height. First you can add a shape, then you can just fill it up. So that is done. Now we have
to wait for this to try. And once a desk dried, we can go with our final step. The colors are
looking silk arches and very much happy
with the color palette. Now to add the final touches via coin back with paints gray. And they're going to
add some rough shapes along the horizon line. And the time will be
done with painting. Right now, there is
an incomplete free to a painting by adding some
details along the horizon line. And by defining that horizon
line, it will look complete. And that's what we're
doing right now. So just go with a darker
green are just been great acids and add some teeny tiny shapes
and on the horizon line. Okay, I won't be filling
up the ante horizon line. I will add the mass while crew Billings some
gap in-between. Okay, So that is akin to one. Now I'm thinking
leaving some cat and I'm adding another
group of plants. In a similar way. I'll be adding few more groups and the time will be done
with, for painting. Try to go with
different shapes and sizes so that it will
look more natural. I have to longer groups on the right side and three
shorter wants on the left. It's a very small
detailed to consider, but they will have a huge
difference in your painting. Alright, with that,
we are done with our beautiful pieces sky. Now it's time to build
up the masking tape. And she was have a Dreamy sky. You can see how beautiful
it has turned out. The colors we have
this first painting, a super gorgeous, and the contrast we are creating
even more beautiful. I hope you enjoyed painting
this peaceful evening. Thank you so much for joining, and I'll see you soon
with the next painting.
13. PROJECT 08 - Pink & Violet Sky: Here's the next baseless
sky we're going to try. It's a beautiful
color combination. Will be using a beautiful
Violet and being for the sky. The big is the same
thing I've been using. The wild-type I'm going to
use is called Pride Violet. It's again from the
same Planche in hand. So just like the name says, it's a very bright
and beautiful Violet. I'll start with the pink. This one is brilliant Pink. It helped me sloping. You can use that directly or we can mix and create
your own Pink. That's the first color
I'll be using for the sky. You can see to
what's a mountain. And towards the
top it is Violet. This color is not that common, so I'm not really sure
how many of you have it. If you don't have discovered Violet invalid who
have COPD or a purple. Those are two colors I'll
be using for the sky. Now the current I'm going to
use for the mountain as mix up a little Violet
as well as blue. Again, you can choose to
create your own Violet. It doesn't need to
be exactly the same. Just because I have
some leftover paint. I chose to mix it this way. So that's a Violet I'll be
using for the mountain. It is a mix of royal
blue and bright violet. The color to them for the sky as well as for the mountain. Now coming to the last set
of colors, what does paints? Gray and sap green. You can see those pine
trees in the foreground. For that, I'll using
a darker green. And that's a mix of
saccharine and paints gray. Adam agreed to stop
training the symbol here. Again, choose to go
with a darker green are just Payne's gray Africa. Okay, so that's a nice the colors you will need
for this painting. Now, let's give it a try. I'm starting by adding a
rough sketch of a mountain. It's a very simple shape. You can go with
initiate better prefer. It doesn't need to be like
this so that the shape I'm going but now before
you start Painting, keep your Colors ready. As I mentioned
earlier, I'll be using a Pink and a wild for the Sky. I already have some pink on my palette. This is the color. The second quarter is Violet. I don't have any
leftover Violet, so I will need to
squeeze out some paint. This color is called dry toilet. You can go with any Violet
are popular choice. It doesn't need to be the same. You can go the basal Pink are just lighter
value of integral. Sorry, I've got, I
have the Colors ready. Now, I'm going to
start by applying CO2 water onto the anterior sky. Just make sure your
brushes clean. And a player clean, even code. We only need a shine
equal to water. Don't add a lot of
what onto paper. And if we can try to
leave out the mountain, my skies evenly wet. Let's start applying the
paint onto the wet sky. Will be applying the paint from the bottom will
first go with pink. Then we will gradually
introduce Violet. Some you see around ratio. This one a size number eight. Go the medium-sized brush
and pick enough of pink on your brush and apply that along the outline
of the mountain. It's a beautiful pink. This one is brilliant
Pink from Shanahan. You can either create
your own basal Pink or it can go
the lighter value of crimson are carmine or any other Pink
Collar you have got? Okay. So that is Pink. I will apply some more paint. Maybe until half of the sky, I will apply Pink. Then I will make it
lighter as I go towards the top. That is pink. Now, I'm going to
make it lighter. I used to roundish because it is easier to apply paint
along the mountain. Now I'm going to switch
to a flag Trish. Then I will go with some
Violet, a medium tone. Then I will blend
that with Pink. So pick any wild of
your choice or purple. And apply that on
the top of the sky. The top and the bottom,
we need a medium tone. And two at the center where
these two colors are meeting, try to make it a little lighter. So that's the base layer. Now onto this, while
it is still wet, we're going to add some lines. And for that, I'm switching
back to my round brush. I'm quite happy with
the background. It's a beautiful blend
of Pink and Violet. So I'm just keeping
this pressure side. And I'm switching
to my round brush. Go to any of your
medium-size brush or a smallest size brush. And go and Violet. Go the brighter tone. Now if you feel like your
paint is really wet, you can dab it on a paper towel. We are going to add some lines onto the sky to
make it a bit more interesting and didn't want
the paint to be too watery. So using that
slightly wet paint, I'm just adding some light
onto the background. Why did is still wet? You can randomly add
some lines using Violet. You can add some at the
bottom and at the top An Adam variable you want to, there is no particular
ruler order for this. Just as you wish abdomen. You can see the way
how it has turned out. It is looking really beautiful. We have only added a few lines. Maybe I will add a few more. I'm already happy with the sky, so I'm not going to add a lot. I will just add a
few more over here. And that's it. That's my sky. I used Pink and Violet
for the background. Then using Violet,
I added some lines, some random lines, and that's my sky. I hope
you all liked it. Now let's leave it for drying. And after that, we can start
painting the mountain. This guy has dried completely and this is how it is
looking right now. Next time a task goes
to paint the mountain. For the mountain, I'm going
to use some mix of blue and violet is going to be
more of a blow Charlotte. This one is royal blue. Now I'm adding a low
Violet into that. If you're mixing in
creating your own Violet, add more blue into the
next time crimson, and create a bluish violet. Okay, so that's a color I'm going to use
for the mountain. Now on the top, I'm going
to use a lighter value. And as I'm coming down, I'll make the color
more brighter. Mix and create your
own bluish violet. Or if you have similar color,
you can use that directly. Now let's add that in the top. Those colors are looking
so good together. The Pink and Violet sky
and the Violet mountain. Now towards the
bottom, I'm going to make the color a little darker. So that's a base layer. Now onto this, onto
the wet background, we need to add some texture. For that. I'm picking
that darker violet. And I'm adding some lines, just some random lines
to create a texture. See that? When you add
them onto a background, it will make a beautiful
texture when it dries. And that is what we're
trying to create here. Just go the darker violet
and just add a few lines. It can be sloping line. See that? So just to add a
few here and there, the trick is adding them by
the bank understood, wet. So when it dries it will
leave a natural texture. Just add a few more lines from the bottom towards the top. Towards the top, I
mean at the peak, try to leave some vital value, will be adding some
white texture there. So don't touch that part
onto the remaining area. You can add some random lines. You don't need to worry a lot. Simply had some lines
on the red background. When it dries, it will
be really beautiful. Okay, so that's how the
mountain has turned out. Now, we can leave
this for trying. And after that, we can add
a white texture to indicate the snow that has dried. Now, let's add some snow onto the mountain using
some white watercolor. You can either go with
white watercolor or white gouache to stake out a little off paint onto
your palette only a little. Okay. So that is watercolor. If you have Guattari
can use that because it is more
opaque than watercolor. Even watercolor will
work perfectly, but only if you want to
make it more prominent, you can go with gouache. Okay. Now I'm using my size
six round brush. First, I'm making
sure it's clean. Now, I'm picking some
white watercolor. I'm not adding a lot of water, just a tiny bit so that
I can pick the paint. Now using that opaque paint, we can add some lines onto
the tip of the mountain. So start from the top and
add them towards the bottom. In an alkali way. The woman ought to
add a lot of water. If you add a lot of water, the paint will be transparent. And then you add these lines, they won't be prominent. Go to paint that is
kind of oblique. Only at a few drops of water. Just to have some random
lines following the slope of the mountain from here and
simply adding some lines down. You don't need to add a lot, just to add a few
here and there. I will add a few more
lines onto the side. Then let's add a few on
the logo set as well. So there's just
some random lines. Go with some white gouache
or white watercolor. And just tried a few
lines onto the Mountains. Okay. This Martin as a
background element, will be adding some
trees in the foreground. And that means you don't
need to add a lot of sleep patterns as it
is in the background. Just add a few here and there,
and that's all we need. Okay? So that's my mountain. We have binded a
background layer. Then on to that, we added
some bike patterns. Again, see the
textures I have added. I didn't add a lot at the
mountainous in the background. So that's how it has turned out. Next we can start
adding the trees. And for that, I'm
using a darker green. It can be either a darker green are just Payne's gray acids. I'll be adding them
onto the right side. I'm planning to add two trees on the right and maybe
one on the left. To create a darker green. I'm going to make some
Payne's gray with sap green. So let me squeeze out
watercolors that is sap green. Now overlaid some paints gray. Okay. So the color Saturday I have Payne's gray
and sap green. Now, I'm going to mix
these two colors together. So my plan is to use
Payne's gray for the tree trunk and add fully
juicing or greenish color. Before I start, I will
keep the color steady. Some mixing sap
green and Payne's gray to create a darker green. I'm taking some paints gray *** for the brush I'm using
here a size number six. It has got a really
nice pointed tip. First-time allowed
a straight line, which is the tree trunk. Now I'm going to clean my brush and I'm going to pick
that darker green. Now using that, I'm going
to add the foliage. Earlier, the color
was more of greenish. I wonder, darker Queen. This looks fine. So at the top I'm adding
just a little foliage and as they come
towards the bottom, I will make it more
dentin. On the top. I have only added a little. Now as I'm coming down
and making it more wider. This is not a very
detailed pine tree. On the top, I have
added some foliage. Now. I'm going to add
some brand is in-between. I'm leaving them
as empty branches. I won't be adding any
foliage on to that. So that's two
branches in-between. Next, I'm going to add some more foliage towards the bottom. The ones I'm going to
add towards the bottom will be moved wider and denser. I have added an image here. So that's all I'm going
to add, the pine tree. We can add that
in a similar way, or how will you want to it, it's nice to leave some
gap in-between and add some empty branches that will make your tree look more
beautiful and realistic. But if you want to
go for a dense and thick tree, that's totally okay. So composite painting
however you want to, It doesn't need to
be exactly the same. If you want to add your
trees towards the left side. That is also totally okay. That's how it is
looking right now. I will add a few
more foliage towards the bottom that's going
to be much more thicker. And rider using a darker green. And I'm just adding some
teeny tiny dots using the tip of my brush and I'm
creating a larger shape, the color I'm using now,
it's much more darker. I have added some more
Payne's gray into it. Anything that I'm adding some more foliage onto
the ones I added earlier, just to add a different
tone and value. Now with the same color, I will add a few
more at the bottom, maybe one more on
the other side. Before you start,
have a rough idea of the shape you
want to go with. Whether you want to go
for a dental tree or whether you want to go
for a tree like this. As you could see
here on the top, I went in with very little foliage and towards the bottom, I made it more denser just to create a more
natural feeling to it. Okay, so that's my full screen. If you wanted to add
some more foliage in-between, you could do that. Now, I'm going to add another
one right next to that. Maybe a smaller one. Just to make the composition
more interesting. That's a high time going well. Now onto that, I'm going to add some teeny tiny
patterns on the top. As it come towards the bottom, I will make it a bit
tomorrow, wider and denser. Painting the pine trees. A very easy to ask if you
get the hang of it. As it could say here,
I'm just adding some random messy
patterns using the tip of my brush as it come down. Remember to make your
foliage more wider. And then so just by
following that truck, you can create a
beautiful pine tree. You can see for this one, on the top, the
foliage is smaller. And what's the bottom? I
made it a bit more wider. That's the only thing you
have to keep in mind. There are many other ways
you can paint the pine tree. This one is one of
the easiest way. I will add some more
fully at the bottom, maybe a bit more vital one. And I will add that
until the Masking tape. Okay, so that's my second tree. Now, in case if you want
to add another tree or if you want to
add mode foliage onto the existing tree. So you could do that right now. You can modify the sheep
and make it more than so. I'm actually having the result, but I'm still wondering whether
I should add one tree on the left side. I'm
still not sure. Maybe I think I would
had a whole tree. Happy with your
painting already. You can just leave it Tacitus. If you want to add
one more tree, maybe onto the right
or onto the left, you could add that to I think I haven't had one
more onto the side. Decide on the height of the
tree and add your tree trunk. Then onto that, keep adding
those random messy patterns. As I mentioned
earlier, as it coming down doors, lines more wider. Okay, so let's add
them the last week and finish off the painting. Okay, so that we are
done with our painting. Now it's time to build
out the Moscow tape. Surest the final painting, it's a beautiful color palette. I really loved the sky. It is very simple. It a beautiful sky. I hope you are
likely to thank you so much for joining
and happy painting
14. PROJECT 09 - Evening at the fields: Hello my dear friends.
Welcome back. So here's our next pixel, Sky. It's a beautiful painting, but very little detail. You can see that Pink and
Violet Sky against a Whitfield. Anyway, I will start with
the color palette as useful. The first color you
will need is Violet. You can see for the Sky, I have used two colors here. With this Violet and Pink. You can use any violet
or purple of each ions. This one is not a pixel Violet, I'll just be using
a lighter value. That's the first color. Now the second color
is brilliant Pink. Again, you can choose to
use a lighter value of crimson or any other
pink or red color. Just go with a pestle Pink, which can be readily available to mix and create your
own this little pink. These are the two colors
I'll be using for the Sky. Berlin Pink and Violet. First will be applying
a base layer, which is going to be a
blend of these two colors. Then onto that will be adding
some Cloud using Violet. So those are the two colors
I'll be using for the sky. Now, coming to the
next set of colors, you can see here, you will need some yellow ocher and also some brown and paints gray to add a deeper value. It's a wheat field. So to
create that impression, you will in some warm
yellows and brown. We don't have brown,
just use burnt sienna. That's not a problem. The one I'm using here
is from Art Philosophy. It's a beautiful brown. I just love this color. This is the one. It's called permanent
problem. Okay? Now the last law
you will need us paints gray or black
or neutral tint. This is mainly to
add a deeper value. Will be adding some deeper
value at the bottom, as well as onto the mountain. For that you will need paints gray or neutral center black. So that's the rise of colors you will need for this painting. You can choose to go with
the same color combination or a different color
combination of HI is how alert keep the Colors ready before
you start with the Sky. Alright, so let's begin
by adding the sketch. First, you will need to
add the horizon line. What is a little bit of
the center of the paper? Now, I'm going to
add a mountain. You can go with any shape. It doesn't need to be
exactly the same as mine. But try to go the similar size, don't make it too huge. So that's my mountain. We can modify the shape as we paint. That's not a
problem. So for now, just add a rough sketch. We can add all the
remaining details and the deeper
values as you paint. For now, we just need a rough shape. So
the sketch is ready. Now to paint the sky,
as I mentioned earlier, you will need Violet and Pink if you're following
the same color combination, I'll just pick any
colors of each is. Let me take out the
colors onto my palette. The Pink I'm using
pure assumption hand, and Violet is from White Nights. Okay, so I have
the Colors ready. Now, I'm going to try
a wet on wet Sky, which means I will have to apply a code of water onto
the anterior sky. For that, I'm using my
one-inch brush brush. You can choose any
of your wider brush, just make sure it is clean. Now I'm picking some water. Adding that onto the background. We just need to shine a code. Don't add a lot of
water and an airbrush multiple times just to be
sure the code what is even. Apply that onto the
anterior background. You can add the water
onto the mountain. That's not a problem. Okay. So my background
is evenly wet. Now we can start
adding the paint. I'm using a flat dish and I'm
starting off with Violet. I'll add a few drops
of water to turn that into a medium
tone or lighter tone. You can go with any kind of intensity if you want to make
it lighter and more water. Or if you wanna go
the brighter value, reduce the amount of water, and just use that
color on the top. So that is Violet. As it come down, make
the color lighter. Now I'm cleaning up my brush and I'm switching
to Pink right away. Okay, now let's apply
that at the bottom. Then we can go towards the top. Again, you can go the lighter
value if you prefer that. The Pink I'm using
here is quite bright. I like it that way, but it is totally your
personal preference. If you want to go with
a lighter value atom of water and make
your color lighter. Okay? Now our task is to
make a clean blend. We need to blend to
Violet and Pink together. I'm cleaning my brush
and I'm going to run my brush in a back-and-forth model to make it a clean planet, right where these two
colors are meeting. So gently run your brush
in a horizontal way from left to right to make
it a clean blend. That's all base layer. Now before the background rise, we need to introduce the clouds. I'm just keeping
those special sight. I'm switching to her entourage. Choose any of your
medium-sized brush and floss. Make sure it's clean
before you add the clouds. So my brushes clean. Now I'm picking from
Violet, a medium tone. And I'm gently
dabbing my brush on a paper towel just to make
sure it is not too watery. Now, we can start
adding the clouds. You can add them.
How will you want? I'm starting from this area where the Pink and
wildest meeting. You can see the
shape. I'm going, well, it's a big cloud. Now I'm adding a few
towards the bottom. You can just add
them. How will you want and variable you want to. When you're adding the clouds, that are two things you
need to keep in mind. The first, tennis,
your background should be still wet when
you're adding the clouds. The second thing is the
paint that using to add the clouds should
not be too watery. If it's still water, it
will start spreading a lot. The shape will be
somewhat messy. So try to go the pain
which is not too watery, feel like your paint is really watery and spreading out lot. Just dab it on a paper towel and then keep
adding your clouds. So that's how it is
looking right now. I think of a ladder, few more
little ones here and there. To make the composition a
little more interesting. Maybe I will add one here. That is to water. You know, I'm repeating the same step after dabbing my brush
on a paper towel. I'm really loving the sky. The colors are looking
really beautiful. Once you have figured
out the consistency of your paint and also
the wetness of your people in the Cloud
is not a difficult task. But if you're a beginner, it might be a little tricky. The keys using a good-quality
watercolor paper, which is hundred percent cotton, so that it will stay
wet longer time. And you can add the Cloud
without rushing a lot. I will add few more
clouds onto the side. And with that, I will call it done because my background
is starting to dry. If I add more, they want sprayed and they will look
really rough and patchy. So right now, I think the composition is
looking quite nice. I have some small clouds
as well as some big ones. I'm happy with the sky. Now. I'm going lead for trying. Alright, so the sky has dried. Next to our task was
to paint the retweet. For Verge, you will
need yellow ocher and some brown and also bit of Payne's gray to have
a deeper valuable. So first I will take
out the clothes. We can start painting
it, the yellow ocher. I'm going to use
this function here. Then you will need some
brown or bond zaneena. First we will apply yellow ocher onto almost threefold
of that area. Then gradually we will
introduce some deeper values. Okay, so I have
the Colors ready. I have yellow, ocher, brown, and paints gray. Now to apply the paint, I'm using round brush and I'm starting off with yellow ocher. This one, a size number eight. First apply that along
the horizon line. We can apply a little more. Okay, So that's yellow ocher. Next time switching to Brown. As I mentioned earlier,
you can either go with brown or burnt sienna. Now I'm picking a medium tone of brown, adding that
at the bottom. I'm blending that with
the yellow ocher. On the top. I want a yellowish color
and towards the bottom, I want more of brownish
and Taco Tuesday, maybe we can make
it more darker. I'm picking more brown, adding that along the bottom. Now the thing brush, I'm going to add few lines. Just to add some
texture onto it. I'm reading some of the
yellow color on the top, and I'm adding two lines that just a matter of adding some line to sing brown
onto that debt background. You can see the texture. It looks really nice. So we have some
yellow on the top and some brown at the bottom. If you want to make
it more darker, you can pick a little of Payne's gray and mix that with brown. And you can add that along
the bottom-most area. So that's the background. You can see we have
some yellow on the top and a darker
value at the bottom. Now before we go, The final step will have to wait
for this to dry. So let's take a quick break and come back when this
has dried completely. That also has dried. So we'll again start
painting the Mountains, for which I'm gonna go with
a medium tone of brown. Again, you can go to
town or been Sina. First I'm going to fill
up the ante a mountain, and then gradually I will start introducing
multiple value. So you can either follow
the shape you have added or can modify
the shape if you want. Okay, so first let's
apply a medium tone of brown or burnt sienna onto
the anterior mountain. Then once we have
defined the shape, we can start adding the
textures using a darker value. So that's a base layer. If you want to modify the shape, you could do that right now. I'm just making
the sheep a little more higher on the side, a little higher.
That's a base layer. Now I'm keeping this
Brushes side and I'm going to switch to my smaller
brush to add the textures. This one as my size
six round brush. And I'm picking
some paints gray. You can add a little
of brown into it to turn that into
a darker brown. Now with that glow, I'm going to add some
lines onto the mountain. Whenever I have these ridges, I'm going to add
some deeper tone. Simply pick up some
taco value Brown on your brush and add
some deeper value. In a way to sloping down. We are trying to introduce some texture and some shadow here. And that will make up a mountain look more realistic and natural. So the similarly, I'm going to add some patterns on
the other side as well. We can see the way
I'm adding it. It is just some taco valuable. And I'm adding that
and an inclined way onto that red background. You can see the difference. Now I'm thinking to fill up
the head cap in between. Initially I thought it would
be nice to add that gap. I will add some more
texture onto the mountain. Then I think oven
Philip died cap. Now when I look at the painting, I think that wasn't
really necessary. Okay. I'm picking up some brown and I'm going to
fill up that gap. I'm assuming same
brown I used earlier. And I'm just extending
the shape here. This is looking much
better than earlier. That part is filled. Now
before I call it done, there's one last thing
that I want to do over just adding
some tiny patterns. And on the horizon line. This tip is completely optional, but I want to show you the
difference that it can make. So Guba, but that
brown that you used earlier and with any of your smallest expresss just had some teeny tiny pattern
along the horizon line. It is just some tiny lines. Just keep adding them
close to each other. See that this tiny shoes, when you add them
close to each other, it will give an impression
of that cross faraway. Once I finished this, you will get tat real sense of just keep adding some tiny
lines close to each other. With any of your
smallest size brush or a brush with a pointed tip. Use the same brown
that are used for your mountain and fill
up that anti-align. Just hiding some tiny lines
with the tip of my brush. It is not a complicated step. It doesn't need to be perfect. But once you're done with this, you will see the difference
that it can make. If you feel that
line is prominent, you can just match it. Just gently smart
you towards the top. And that's it. That's able painting. You can see those textures
we have introduced. You can really
feel that sense of crafty pattern far away
with those tiny patterns. And that is exactly what
I wanted to create here. There's just a matter of
adding the tiny line. It can have a closer look here. See that? Now, to finish
off the painting, I'm going to add some
tiny boats onto the sky. And with that will be
done whatever painting. You can add three, football. If you don't want to add them, that if you don't
want to add them, that is also totally fine. I have added three boards. I will add one more
towards the right side. I'm really happy
with the Mountains and that grassy texture. That area is my
favorite part about this painting.
That's all painting. I hope you all liked it. Now it's time to build
up the masking tape. Gently be lucky Masking tape at an ankle only after the
painting has completely dried. And here's the
finished painting. I really liked it. I hope you-all enjoyed it too. I loved the sky, the mountain, and the texture on that grass. It was a simple trick, but you can see
the impacted made. Here's another painting
I tried without that texture and it can
clearly see the difference. I wasn't really happy with
the color of the sky. It looked really
towel after it dried. And also this line here, I went in with a straight line, whereas I introduce some
texture on the other one. Yeah, that's a different those tiny lines can make
in your painting. Alright, so thank you so much for joining and happy painting.
15. PROJECT 10 - Snowy Evening: Now it's time to
go. The final one of the baseline
Watercolor Sky City. And here's what we're painting. Honestly, it is one of my
favorites from the collection. I just loved the color
palette and those strings. Anyway, let's have a look at
the colors before we start. For the sky, I will be
using violet and orange. The background layer
is going to be a blend of violet and orange. This is the orange
I'm going to use. You can use any
orange have caught. And I'll also be adding a
low white with orange to create a pistol
orange for Violet, I wouldn't be adding any wide. I'll just use a lighter value. So add a few drops of water. I told him Violet into
a lighter tone or a medium tool. So
that's the first color. I'm using violet from
White Nights here. Next to create some
peaceful orange. I'm adding some white
watercolor with orange. And that's a color.
It's a beautiful color. You can either choose to use your colored this way by
adding some white watercolor, or you can just go with a
lighter value of orange. Disassembly how we
did with Violet. Okay, So those are
the two colors I'll be using for the sky. Then to add some
lines or to the sky, those streaks you can see there. For that, I'll be using
a brighter tone of orange without adding
any white into it. Okay, So this other colors
I'll be using for the sky. The next two colors
you will need as Brown and Payne's gray for that landscape in
the background as class for the tree, I'll
be using brown. Then to add some deeper tones, I will be using
some paints gray. You can use brown
or burnt sienna. And if you don't have
Payne's gray color with black or neutral tint. So those are the colors you
will need for this painting. Simple here, a beautiful
color palette. And I'm very sure you will
enter the process as well. The painting of ask
beautiful axes, colors. Okay, so let's give it a try. Okay, so let's begin. I already have some
violet on my palette. The next color I
will need is orange. This is the one
I'm going to use. It's brilliant orange. You can go with any
orange you have got, or can also use vermilion. Now, along with that,
I will also need some white watercolor.
This is optional. If you want to turn your
orange IDO pixel color, you can add some white. I can just use a lighter value. How the Colors ready? Now I'm going to add a quick sketch. First. I'm going to add a
line to separate the sky and the crown. Okay? Now onto the right side, I'm going to add two trees. You can add it
towards the center or towards the left is
totally your choice. So I'm gonna go with
an irregular shape to make it look more natural. That's thickness of the tree. Okay, So that's the first one. Now I'm going to add
another one next to that. For you just need to
add a simple shape. You can modify it later as you paint all the branches and all the remaining
details we can add liter. Those are my trees. Now I'm thinking this
can be a bit more lower. Okay, that seems fine. Some erase the other line. Okay, so that's our sketch. Now we can start painting. Before you start,
keep the color story, you believe violet and orange, then also a little of white. Now I'm starting by adding a
coat of water onto the sky. A nice ginger go to water. Don't add a lot of water, which is new shiny code. So keep running a Brush
multiple times back and forth just to make sure
the code what is even. Okay, so my skies evenly wet. Now I'm going to start
adding the paint for that. I'm using my flat brush and I'm starting with Violet,
a medium tone. And I'm adding that on the
top onto the wet background. It's a medium tone. Now,
as I'm coming down, I'm going to make
the color lighter. So clean your brush. Then tap it on a paper towel. Then just run your brush in a horizontal direction to
make it lighter weight, a medium tone on the top
and toward the center, we want the color to be lighter. Okay, so that's the top part. Now I'm cleaning my brush. I can I'm switching to orange. You can either go with
orange acidosis or it can just add a bit of white to
make it a pistol color. Okay, So that's a
color I'm using. I'm adding that along
the horizon line. Now as I go towards the top,
I will make it lighter. So we're Violet and
oranges meeting. I want Watercolors
to be lighter. And towards the top and bottom, I want the color to
be slightly brighter. I'll quickly run my clean brush
to make it an even blend. Okay, so that's the background. Now I'm going to keep
the special side and I'm switching
to around Trish. Our next task is to
add some lines on the sky to make it
look interesting. I'm picking more orange. I'm not adding any white. The standard chorus
much more brighter. Now using that color, I'm just going to add
some random lines onto the sky while the
background is still wet. So we have to be
really quick and we need to add these lines
before the background tricep So there's just a
matter of adding some lines onto the orange part. I'm not adding any lines
towards the Violet section. I'm just leaving
that area acids. So just try out a few lines to make your sky look a
bit more interesting. It is just some random lines. There is no particular
shape or size. Just add them Violet
back on the silhouette. That's the only thing
you need to keep in mind that some paint
missing over here. I'm just adding that back in. Okay, so that's a sky. Now we can leave it for drying. Alright, so this guy
has dried completely. Now our next task is to
paint the snowy ground. Foreseeable need to
apply CO2 water. It's a very little
area, so be careful. Don't add any water
into the sky. Gently run your brush
along that small section. And identical to water
to paint the ground, I'm going to use round brush. This fantasise number
eight on brush. Go with any of your
medium-size brush. I'm using a medium tone. Now, using that brush, I'm going to add some
lines on the ground. You can add them in
a very random way. Just like have you added
those lines from the sky. But try to link some
gap in between. Don't fill up the entire area. You can see those
gaps in-between. So in a similar way as
some lines leaving cap. Okay, so that's the background. Now we can leave it for trying. So they have painted
the sky and the crowd. Next we're going to paint the trees along
the horizon line. For that, I'm using my size six round brush and
I'm using brown here, a medium, Donald Brown. You can go to prom
or bond zaneena. Go the medium tone,
don't make it to light. Now using the tip of my brush, I'm just adding some lines. On the top. Then
towards the bottom, I'm just filling up that shape. See that? Right now,
I'm using brown. Once I'm done adding the brown, I will introduce some
darker values as well. So you have to keep some paints, gray or neutral tint or black, ready on your palette as
well, along with brown. First add a random shape. I'm just using the
tip of my brush and I'm just adding some lines. So on the top I went
a long pointy tips just to make it look like
those are some trees. And two at the bottom,
we can just fill it up. And also you can
play with different tight towards either side. I'm making Italo and
towards the center. I'm looking at shorter.
Okay, So that's brown. Once you're done adding this, we can gradually introduce
some taco value. Maybe I will make this area more higher and also the left side. So that's the base layer. Now with the same brush, I'm going to pick
some paints gray. And I'm going to add
that onto either end. So towards the center, I'm going to read in
most of the problem. And what's either side, I'm adding some Depot value. This is just to introduce
some lightened shadow and to make our painting
look more interesting. Just want to either side, you can add some darker tones. And two at the center, you
can retain that drunk Hello. Okay. So that's a base layer. Add that value back
onto still wet. If it has dried up,
but it's no problem. Clean your brush and
go back with some brown and just merge the paint to give it
a more softer look. Okay, so those are the
trees in the background. Now let it dry. Meanwhile, we can start adding some
texture on the ground. For that, I'm using
the same paint, a darker tone of brown. So I'm mixing hundred
love Payne's gray. And I'm dabbing my brush
on paper towel multiple times because I want to try
paint to add the texture. I don't want my
paint to be watery. So keep dabbing your
brush multiple times on a paper towel and add
some try patterns. At the color is very much brown. I want it to be able
to more darker. So I'm adding more paint
screen to the mix. Again, dabbing my brush. See that? Now with a dry brush, Let's add some patterns
on the ground. Right now it is
looking quite flat. It doesn't look like
a snowy ground. So to bring in that freewill, we need to introduce
some texture. And that's what I'm
doing right now. Just go the dry paint. It could be paints gray
acidosis or a darker brown. You can have those dry
patterns in a very randomly. Didn't need to follow
any particular pattern. Just add them here and there. These patterns will give a nice texture as well as a
finished look to your ground. See that? I'm adding
more closer to the tree. I wouldn't be adding a lot
towards the outer corners. So I'm just focusing
on the Syria. And I'm adding some type atoms
and a pedicure randomly. Maybe we could add a
little more next the tree. So the only thing to keep in
mind is to go the try paint. Don't add a lot of water. If you paint is watery and
tap it on Paper towel. Before you add these patterns. Now I'm adding few
tiny patterns using darker tone is to make it look like there
are some tiny stones, are some texture on the ground. Okay. So that's it. That will ground. I'm quite happy with the
weight as turned out. Our next and final is task
was to paint the tree. But the trees in the
background, it is still wet. So we'll have to
wait for that to try before we start paying
the trace in the foreground. Okay, So that is dry, and here's the
patterns we added. Right now. It might not look
that great, but that's okay. One to add the tree,
it will look a lot more beautiful.
Let's add the tree. First. I'm starting with brown, a medium tone, something similar to the color I
used for the landscape. I think I will need more brown. Again, as a fidelity, we can either code or been zaneena use any of a
medium-size fresh, the one I'm using here,
a size number six. Go the medium tone,
don't make it to light. Now I'm starting
with the forestry, the one on the left. First, we can define the shape using that medium tone of brown. You run into, show the
roots or anything, just leave IT assets
at the bottom. Now, let's add in the branches. First go to medium
tone of brown or Ibn Sina, and find the sheet. Along with that, you can
also add some branches. Go with any of your brush
that has got a pointed tip. When you're adding
a tiny branches. Right now we're adding
the tree trunk so that can be a bit thicker
compared to the branches. Now with the same brush, I'm
picking some paints gray. And imagine that
what's the right side? I'm not sure if we can see the difference in
the colloquial. On the left side
we have a brown, a medium tone, or a darker tone. Towards the right. I have
introduced some paints gray. I will make the tree,
but multicore or here. Then along with Tableau
to add some branches. Okay? Now we can add
some branches onto that. Now onto the other one. We have one lottery left. I think it's a good idea
to paint the other tree. Then we can add all branches, how old we want. Let's
go the other tree. Then we can come back to this, some switching back to Brown. And I'm fully
defining the shape. And once I have added the shape, I will add some
darker tone towards the right side to
introduce some shadows, just the same way how I
painted the earlier one. Once we have defined a
major shape of the tree, we can start introducing
the branches. So your first step is to
focus on the major shape. I have added the basic
shape of the tree. Now I'm adding a branch or hill. So again, paint your
tree. How will you want? You can add your branches
wherever you want to. It doesn't need
to be exactly the same way how I'm
adding it to you. Tried to combos that neuron way. Okay, so that's a basic shape. Now I'm going to add
another branch here. Then I will slowly start
adding the deeper value. Okay, I think the
basic shape is ready. Now I'm switching
to paints gray. I'm adding that deeper tone onto the right side of the tree. I'm just starting that it
doesn't need to be perfect. It doesn't need to
be a clean blend. Those things are totally fine. Just trying to add
some tuple value. Now we can start
adding the branches. I will add one here. Then I will add some teeny tiny ones. In a very randomly. I'm not looking at any picture. I'm just adding them how I feel like just go ahead and add an *** many
branches as you want. Try to go the smaller brush, brush with a pointed tip so that you can add
them in a budding, thin and delicate manner. Okay, So that's have
a restaurant out. How smart some paint here. I'm just trying to fix it
by adding another branch. I think that looks okay. Now I'm going to clean my brush and I'm going
to switch to some white. I have some elliptical by
TO which I use for the sky. So take a little of
white on your brush. Don't add lot of water. Go to try paint. If it's watery. Debit,
want to Paper toga. Now we're going to introduce
some Snowy textured onto the tree using this dry paint. Just drawn your try brush on the train and create
similar patterns. I'm adding them only
towards the left side. That's a very simple step, but it will have a huge
impact on your training. And focusing only on
the thicker branches. The rest of them are quite ten. It won't be really practical to add these
patterns onto them. So let's focus on the
bigger and thicker ones. Okay, so what do you have to do with pick up some white paint, don't add any water. Go the try paint. The dead triphosphate,
add some texture onto the tree to give it a more
realistic look. See that? I'm really happy
with the results. It is just a matter of
adding some light texture, but it made a lot of difference. How one multiple branches
onto that asphalt. I will add some white patterns. And that will be done
with our Paintings. Maybe I'll add two
onto this one. Okay, So with that, we are done with our painting. We can see how beautiful
it task Toronto. I really loved the
Sky and those trees, especially the white
texture we have added. Now it's time to build
up the masking tape. Here's the finished painting. I hope you all liked it. You can see those beautiful
textures on the tree. That's something that I really
love about this painting. I hope you are
likely to thank you so much for joining
and happy painting
