1. Welcome to the Course !!!: Hello and welcome to this course. Here you will learn how a passage has to be completed just on the basis of partial information. My name is Adrian and I really believed it you through this course. Currently, I work as an instructional designer with some of the best and the most talented instructors around the globe. Conflict more than 12 years of training experience. And I've mentored more than 75 thousand students. I have also been a guest faculty at several top-notch be schools across the country. We will be teaching you to use a very simple four-step formula known as the ISP. Identify, simplify, predict, and eliminate. By the end of this course, you will learn how to identify context clues. Direction works. How to simplify the given sentence, how to predict your own answer, and then how to use the process of elimination to get rid of all clear answers of the texts completion. Together, we will walk you through the entire approach step-by-step. There are no requirements necessary to enroll. We only ask that you come open-minded and ready to learn. So feel free to look at the course description and we look forward to seeing you inside. 2. ISPE - 4 Step Plan to Build Your Vocabulary: Hello everybody. In this chapter, we're going to look at some presentation points for the ISP four-step action plan. Let's get started. I stands for identify. What are we going to identify here? We're going to identify the direction words in the sentence. So normally the direction words make up the skeleton of the whole sentence. And even if one of these words is out of place, it could change the whole meaning of the sentence. So this is some direction words are extremely important in the sentence. Let's look at the context clues. This is also what we are going to identify. Now, identifying these contexts clues is again very critical to understanding the simplified meaning of the given sentence. So always remember that in a particular sentence, you will identify the direction words and the context clue words. Once you identify the direction words and contexts chlorides. Next, we're going to simplify the given sentence. Now the simplified sentence will generally have the main ideas, restate it in a very simple way. You might have a very long question. Now that whole question, we're going to restate that in a very simple way. Using the context clues in the direction word. When you're restating the simplified sentence, you only include the essential information and leave all the non-essential information. So anything like examples or anything like parenthesis, numbers, dates, all these things we could exclude because it's clearly not important to understand the sentence. This would form the simplified version of the sentence. Once we have the simplified version of the sentence ready, we're going to predict our own answer. Now it's always a better idea to cover up the answer choices and then come out with their own answer, then predict your own answer. Because only by covering up the answer choices, you are clearly focused on the sentence. If you look at the answer options and then try to decide, then probably you might be judged by the answer options, right? So it's always advisable to predict your own answer without even looking at the answer options. When you're predicting your answer options. One option would be more than enough. You can either come out with a word or you can come up with a phrase, right? The whole idea is to check if you have adequately understood the context. So as long as you predict in the context, it shouldn't be a problem. Once you have this predicted version of your answer ready. Next, you're going to use that answer to eliminate options from the given question. Now, we're going to eliminate options that don't match with the answer that we have in mind, right? Once we have a clear understanding of the sentence, It's keywords and your answer. Then you can begin considering eliminating the answer options one by one. You can discard those answer options which don't make any sense, and then find the two answer options with three, which creates anonymous sentences. Those two answer options are going to be our final answer. Thanks for watching. We'll see you in the next video. 3. Direction Words - Functions & Examples: Hello there. Welcome back to this chapter on direction words, functions with examples. In this chapter, we're going to look at many Direction words were also look at good look at their functions. And we're going to look at certain examples. Let's get started. First, we're going to see some examples and the function of the addition direction world. So first of all, the adhesion direction words are meant to add what has been previously stated. Let's look at some examples. Also, I believed the man was evil. This word, this direction we're, clearly tells us something about the man which was clearly negative. Also, I believe the man was evil. So this is adding onto the previous idea. If the previous idea is positive, this idea is going to be positive. If the previous idea is negative, this idea is going to be negative. Right? Let's look at the second example. I loved her smile. This is a positive idea. I treasured her touch. This is also a positive idea. You can clearly see how and connects to positive ideas in the same sentence. Let's look at the third example. In addition, inadequate insulation is responsible for heat loss, which probably meant that there was another problem which is responsible in addition to that, inadequate installation is another problem responsible for heat loss. Let's look at example four. Additionally, the smoke was carcinogenic. So when you say additionally the smoke was carcinogenic, it clearly meant that certain other features, negative features of the smoke was clearly listed earlier. Additionally, the smoke turned out to be carcinogenic. Carcinogenic would mean cancerous. Let's go to example five. Besides, I could not afford the blue cabinet. So look at this when you have besides, it clearly means that earlier you had some particular version and now you could not afford the blue cabinet. Let's look at the sixth example. Not to mention, more people die from cow attacks than shark and counters, right? So this is also going to give you additional information of all people generally die. Let's look at the second direction word, which is contradictory ideas the sentence. So the function would be to show how things are extremely different. This is the work of the contradictory direction word. Let's look at some examples. Despite this, she loved him, which clearly indicates that there was something negative. And despite that negative, she loved him, which is clearly a positive idea. So this is how the world will connect to positive ideas and a negative idea. Let's go to a second example. She loved horses, which is a positive idea. However, she was afraid to write negative idea. Let's go to the third example. On the other hand, doctors promise to do no harm, which is clearly positive. Which means the probably the ductus would have had something negative. Probably a major surgery would have happened, which is clearly negative. And on the other hand, the doctors promised to do no harm. Let's go to the fourth example. Unlike her brother, she knew a good bargain when she site, which clearly meant that our brother did not know a good bargain. Let's go to the fifth example. Whereas his intentions were good, host for bad. So here you have clearly contradictory ideas in the sentence. Let's look at the sixth example. Rather than visiting a friend, the girl decided to watch a movie, right? So rather than will fully connect a contradictory idea in the sentence. These are some examples of contradictory words in the sentence. Let's look at comparison words, which clearly mean Section words. So you can also say comparison words. Are we show similarity. So the function of a comparison word would mean to show how things are extremely similar. Let's look at some examples. As with most young girls, the siblings favorite color is pink. This is clearly comparing the sibling with all the other girls. So you can clearly see a comparison happening here. Let's look at the second example. The two girls worked equally on the project. Here, you clearly comparing the first girl with the second goal here saying that both of them were equal, equally clearly shows comparison. Let's go to the third example. In a like manner. The girl excited the building, sorry, the girl exited the building. You're clearly comparing how the girl exited the building with another previous situation or a person. Let's go to the fourth example. Just as Tina enjoyed visiting the horse, so to degenerate. So both of them clearly enjoyed visiting the house. Let's go to the fifth example. Likewise, the girls showed interest in the piano, which clearly means that we are comparing the girls interests with the other people's interests from the piano. And let's look at the sixth example. Similarly. He crushed her self-esteem. So probably there might be another person who would have crushed the self-esteem. Similarly, this person to do the same thing. This is about comparison direction words. Let's look at certain condition direction words. So first of all, the function would be to provide a condition to what has been stated. So you have to clearly identify in the GRE exam that certain sentences may have a condition given to it. And according to the conditions you have to add on the sentence. Let's look at some example of what is a condition where as the days get young, people stopped visiting museum. So this is a condition. So only if this condition happens, people will stop visiting the museum. Otherwise, everything is okay. They want they will keep coming to the museum. If she calls, I will go to the store. Right? Only on this condition. I will go to the store. If this condition doesn't happen, I won't go to the store. Let's look at a third example. Unless she avoids him shielded in trouble. So only if she avoids him shielded in trouble, if this condition happens, she would get in trouble. Right? Let's go to the fourth example. Even if he comes home, she could not forgive him. This is also telling you, even in this condition, she cannot forgive him. Right? Let's go to the next one. As the store closed, shoes unable to buy the banner, right? This was the condition the store was closed. And because of this condition, this thing happened, she wasn't able to buy the banner. Only if it stops raining, you will be allowed to play. Only on this condition will be allowed to play and know all the condition. So these are some examples of conditions that action words in the sentence. Let's look at certain result oriented direction words in the sentence. First of all, the function is to provide the result of what has been stated. Let's look at some examples. The sky suddenly darkened and it began to rain. As a result, the couple of God drenched. So this is the result of that particular incident. Let's look at the second example. The girls went out in the cold without the immittance. Consequently, their fingers had frostbite. So this is the result of going out without mittens. Let's go to the third example. Due to the warm weather, the girls ice cream melted. So this is the result of the warm weather that the girls ice cream melted. Tim always starts of brown at the bar. For this reason, I now go there without him. So this is the effect of having to fight on the bar. Let's go to the fifth example. She fed the dogs chocolate. Hence the top got sick. So this is the result of feeding the dogs with chocolate. Let's go to the next one. Henry couldn't tie shoes, so John helped him. This is the result of Henry not being able to tie his own shoes. This is what an examples of the result oriented direction words. Now let's look at some reason oriented direction words. First of all, a reason oriented direction word is meant to show cause and effect in this sentence. Let's look at some examples. In view of the court's findings, the prosecutor dismissed the case. This is an example of a reason. This is the reason why she dismissed the particular case. Given that the money was missing, the employee called the police. This was the reason for the employer to call the police, right? You can clearly see a reason coming in the sentence. Now if the reason is obviously positive, the cause is positive. If the reason is negative, the cost will be negative, right? You can clearly see the cause and effect pattern happening there. With this in mind, the goal sought out her birth mother. This is the cost and this is the effect of the course. For the purpose of understanding the consumers buying habits, the CEO interviewed many of its consumers. So this is clearly telling us for the purpose of understanding the consumers buying habits. This is the cause. And for that, the result is that they interviewed a lot of people. With this purpose. The boy set out to find his grandfather. Look at this. The same purpose. The boys set out to find this grandfather. Because of the pollution, many people move out of the community. So this is the cause. With that, the effect is that people move out of the community. Thanks for watching. We'll see you in the next video. 4. Identify Context Clues - Example 1 : Hello everybody. In this chapter, we are going to look at context clue words, which are nothing but describing words and phrases in a sentence. Let's look at the first example. The first example is how you'd stock bubbles is two dash to complete the structure training required to become a guide dog for the blind. Let's identify the context clue words in the sentence. Context clue words can be an adverb, or it can be an adjective, or it may be any other phrase in the sentence that is of describing nature. Let's identify the context clue words in the sentence. The first contexts clue. What we have is the structure. So structure is the first context clue word in the sentence. It clearly describes the training required. Structured is an adjective in the sentence. Right? Let's see if there are any contexts to other contexts clue words and sentence. We have the second context clue is the guide in the word guide. So how is the dog? It clearly describes the dog, right? So we're looking for a guide. Dog. Guide becomes another adjective in a sentence. And it clearly describes the dog in question here. Right? So the guide would be the second context clue in the sentence. Let's look at a third context clue. The third contexts clues the word blind because it clearly describes the people in question, right? So peak the word blind will also be an adjective. Let us see how these three adjectives play a very crucial role and help us determine the blank in the sentence. Okay? So by examining these three adjectives, you can come up with a word with something like unstructured. Right? Now, look at this, how perfect the sentences Harriet stock bubbles is to unstructured, to complete the structured training. Which means a dog must be trained, right? Because right now the dog is too unstructured and the training is very structured. So we can clearly see how these three contexts clues help us to fill in the particular blank in the sentence. Thanks for watching. We'll see you in the next video. 5. Identify Context Clues - Example 2: Hello there. Let's look at the second example. Historical fiction novels dash two divergent genres so smoothly that it's often difficult for the reader to remember that E is reading an imagined role rather than a true life account of the events in the past. Let us identify the context clue words in this. Let us identify the context clue words in the sentence. The first context clue would be divergent. Because divergent is an adjective. And this word clearly describes the genres. Genres, genres, or divergent in nature. So we have the first context clue word in the sentence. Let's look at the second context clue. We have smoothly. Right? Now, this is clearly describing how these nonfiction novels perform this particular action. We have an action here, and this particular action is very smooth. Clearly it's an adverb in the sentence, so smoothly is an adverb and the sentence, because it clearly describes this particular action. So we know that this particular action is going to be a verb in the sentence. Okay, let's see if there are any other contexts Kilowatts. Yes. We have the context clue word as often difficult because it clearly describes the readers remembrance how the readers remember, how the readers remember. It's often difficult. These three words, which I think, but the context clue words and sentence can help us identify what this plan can be. Okay, so we can come up with our own world, something like this. Unified. We can come up with a unified. So how do we come up with unified historical fiction novels unify or something like bring together. You can say the unify or they bring together. What are they bringing together? Bringing together two divergent genres. Divergent would mean to separate genres. So obviously when the genres are separate, you can bring them together, right? So they bring down two separate, they bring together two separate genres. So smoothly that is often difficult for the reader to remember that he is reading unimagined role or a true life count of three events in the past. So the main keyword here is divergent genres so smoothly that it's often difficult for the reader to remember, right? So we can come up with the words such as unify. Thanks for watching. We'll see you in the next video. 6. Identify Context Clues - Example 3: Let's look at the third example. The long line in the coffee shop grew even longer after one particular angry customers dash to the cashier about having to wait so long for the service. Let's identify the context clue was in the sentence. The context clue was nothing but describing words in the sentence. The first context clue we have is the long line. So the long, this particular word here, this is clearly an adjective in the sentence. Why? Because it's describing the line. How is the line? The line is very long. So this is the first context clue what we have in a sentence. Let's see if there are any other context clues. Yes, we have the second context clue that it grew even longer. This is also clearly describing the line in the context, right? So this is the second context clue we have that it clearly describes the line. Earlier the line was long, now the line is even longer. Let's see if you have any other context clue. The third contexts clues. Angry. Angry is an adjective. And adjectives clearly describe nouns, right? So how are the customers? The customers are very angry. Correct? You can clearly see how these three adjectives help us fill the blank in the sentence. Okay, Let's read the sentence once again. Let's come up with our own blank here. The long line grew even longer after one particular angry customers dash the cashier about having to wait so long this service. So you can come up with something like yellow or you can come up with something like screams. Got it. So one after one particular angry customer screams, the long line became even more longer. Right? So this is how these three contexts clues can help us fill in the blank of the sentence. Thanks for watching. We'll see you in the next video. 7. Identify Context Clues - Example 4: Hello there. Welcome back to the fourth example. The bad tempered staff displayed nothing but ungrateful illness. Rather than dash for the weekend mountain retreat that the company had paid for. Let's identify the context clue words in the sentence. The first context clue word is bad temper. This is an adjective in this sentence. This word clearly describes the stuff. So how are the staff? The staff, they were they were bad tempered, right? This is the first contexts clue what we have in a sentence. Let's see if there are any other context clues. Yes. So the bad stuff displayed and gratefulness, Got it. This is another quality or another feature. Display. So this is nothing but an adjective. So the bad tempered staff displayed on gratefulness. So now we can clearly understand how the word, the context clue words can help us figure out the blank in the sentence. Okay? So the, the bad tempered stuff displayed nothing but ungrateful illness rather than gratefulness, right? You can see how we come, came up with this word here. So you can see how we could come up with a particular word in the sentence just by looking at the context clue words in the sentence. Thanks for watching. We'll see you in the next video. 8. Identify Context Clues - Example 5: Hello there. Welcome to the fifth example. The appendices dash in correcting the Masters technique was so shocking that the master dismissed apprentice from his service. Immediately. Identify the context clue words in the sentence. The first context clue, what we have is so shocking. The masters, the apprentices dash in correcting the Masters technique was so shocking. This is clearly describing how the apprentice corrected the master. Okay. So this is clearly an adjective. This is clearly a describing word in the sentence. Let's look at the second describing word. You have dismissed. Dismissed is a word in the sentence. And this work to sometimes can give you an idea of what happens in the sentence. So if the master, the master dismissed the apprentice, obviously the apprentice would have done something wrong. If the master appreciate it, The Apprentice obviously done something, right. So it's very clear that this can give us a big idea on what the blank can be. Now, this dismissed is actually a negative word in the sentence. So it's very clear that the apprentice would have done something negative. Let's look at the context clue three. And it happened immediately. That means it was so negative that it happened immediately. Okay, So let us see what word you can come up with in the sentence. With a word of soul shocking, dismissed, and immediately we can come up with something like this. The apprentices, guts. The apprentices and guts, right? That means he had the audacity. The guts in correcting the Masters technique. Probably in this case, the master won't tolerate any other apprentices connecting him. Got it. So that made the master dismiss the apprentice as soon as possible. Right? So this guts made the master dismiss, dismiss that, but it is as soon as possible, right? So we can come up with something like guts in the sentence. Thanks for watching. 9. Example 1 - Chinese countryside painting: Hello there. Welcome back. Let's look at the first example of the texts completion question. Question number one. Chinese countryside paintings sometimes consists of features that partially obscured the scene, such as the cluster of clouds that dashes snow-capped peak. You have a blank in the sentence. You have to fill this particular blank with one correct answer option from the list given below. Your answer options are option a, option B, option C, shroud. Option D, emphasize, and option E, beautified. Let's identify the context clue words and the direction words in the sentence and given below. The context clue word is partially obscured and the direction word is such as why is partially obscured? The context clue, because partially obscured clearly describes the Chinese countryside paintings. So how are these Chinese, Chinese countryside paintings? They partially obscured the scene. So that is going to be our context clue word in the sentence. Coming next to the direction would you have such as such as clearly tells you that the second part of the sentence is going to be an example of the first part of the sentence. So clearly it gives us direction as to which direction we need to think. Let's simplify the sentence. Once we have a context clue words and the direction words ready, we could come up with something like this. You have Chinese countryside paintings that partially obscured. For example, cluster of clouds that dashes snow-capped peak. Now this particular blank here is definitely going to be an example of the previous sentence. Since the previous sentence talks about partially obscuring something, this blank here, definitely be related to partially obscuring something. With that in mind, let's predict our own answer option. So we could come up with something like this. Cluster of clouds that hide a snow-capped peak. Height is definitely very close to partially obscuring something. Now let's eliminate answer options and see which answer option is close to hide. That is going to be the right answer. Let's look at option a. Elevate. Elevate means to raise. This is clearly not what we're looking for. We can eliminate that. Attain means to accomplish. Again, not what we're looking for. We could eliminate that shroud means to hide. Yes, she's showered is a correct answer. Emphasize would mean to highlight not what we're looking for. And beautify would mean to decorate, again, not what we're looking for. So you see, we're able to get the right answer. The correct answer for this question is option C. Sharon. Thanks for watching. We'll see you in the next video. 10. Example 2 - The Sturdy Carton Box: Hello there. Welcome back. Let's look at the second example. The material used to create the cotton is quite sturdy and tough until it's soaked in rain when it becomes significantly more dash. You have a blank in the sentence, and you have to fill this particular blank with one correct answer option from the list given below. Option a, useless option. B, solvent. Option. D, naught. C, non porous. Option D, flexible and option E, invisible. Let's identify the context clue words and the direction words in the given sentence. The context clue word is sturdy and tough, and the direction word is until. So sturdy and tough. This phrase here clearly describes the material being used. So how is the material? The material is story and tough. So that is a context clue word in the sentence. Now we have this direction word here until. Now, until tells you that the second part of the sentence is going to contradict the first part of the sentence. With that in mind, let's simplify the sentence. We could come up with a very simplified version. This way. The material is sturdy and tough until soaked in rain. But after soaking in rain, what happens? It becomes dash. So this blank clearly must be the opposite of sturdy and tough. Because until it's soaked in rain, it is sturdy and tough after soaking in rain, what happens? Okay, Let's predict our own answer. We could come up with something which is the opposite of story and tough. We could come up with something like bendable or something that is weak. So when something is bendable or when something is weak, It's definitely the opposite of strong and tough. Now let's eliminate answer options. Let's see which options don't match our context. Option a, useless. This is not what we're looking for. We can eliminate that option B solvent, which is dissolvable, or they're not what we're looking for, we could eliminate that option C non porous, which means water resistance. This is clearly not close to what we're looking for. We could eliminate that option D flexible, which means easily bendable. Flexible is the other word for easy, easily bendable, which means that it's the opposite of sturdy and tough. This is clearly the right answer. Option E, invisible, which is unnoticeable, not what we're looking for. We can get rid of that. So the correct answer by the process of elimination would be option D, flexible. Thanks for watching. We'll see you in the next video. 11. Example 3 - Strange Spiders: Hello there, Welcome back. Let's look at the third example. Spiders have a little sense of dash for when a rotten egg is new, they barely even cringe at the stench. You have a blank here. You have to fill this particular blank with one correct answer option from the list given below. Option a, option B, option C, temperance, option D site and option E, field. Let's identify the context clue words and the direction words in the sentence. The context clue word here is they barely even cringe at the stench. This is the context clue. This phrase here clearly describes the spiders. Spiders. Or what is the nature of these spiders. They barely even crunch. And the stench. And the direction word here is 44 means because so we hear in the direction word by looking at the direction where we clearly know that you have a cause and effect pattern here. The first part is the cause and the second part is the effect of the sentence. So the cause is that the spiders have little sense of touch and the effect because of a little sense of dash. The effect is that when a rotten egg is near the valley, even cringe at the stench. So this is what we can understand from just looking at the context clue words and the direction words in the sentence. Let's simplify the sentence. We could come up with something like this. The cause is that despite us a little sense of dash, and the effect is that when the valley, they barely even cringe at this tinge of rotten eggs. Now by knowing that the cause is positive, the effect is also going to be positive. If the cause is negative, the effect is also going to be negative. So this is the pattern between the cause and effect statements. The cause is generally in the same direction as the effect. So I know that the effect is going to be badly even cringe at the stench. So the cost is going to be somewhere related to barely even cringing and the stench. With that in mind, let's predict our own answer option. So we could come up with something like this that despite us have little sense of smell. Because when they have little sense of smell, then only they don't even cringe at the stench. Let's eliminate answer options. Let's see which options don't match. Smell. Option a, touch, not close to smell, we could eliminate that. Option B, smell, which means order. This is clearly the right answer. Option C, temperance, which should mean tolerance, can be eliminated. Option D, site, which means vision, can be eliminated. An option E field, which means scat, which can be eliminated. So you see we are able to get the right answer here. The correct answer by the process of elimination would be option B, smell. Thanks for watching. We'll see you in the next video. 12. Example 4 - Meet Matt: Hello there. Welcome back. Let's look at the fourth example. Matt was not a dash person. He often avoided large gatherings. Your answer options are option a, option B, option C, social. Option D, introspective. An option E, awkward. Let's identify the context clue words and the direction words in the sentence given the context clue word is awarded large gatherings. This phrase clearly describes Matt what kind of a person he was. Not clearly tells you that this part of the sentence is clearly going to be negative. He was not a dash kind of a person. Let's simplify this sentence. We will get a simplified version this way. Since Matt awarded large gatherings, he's not dash. So you can clearly see that this blank is definitely going to be, that he's not going to be a very positive person. Alright, because it clearly avoids large gatherings. With that in mind, let's predict our own answer option. So we could come up with something on the lines of gatherings and being social. So we could come up with something like he was not social. Social is something what we're looking for. With that in mind, let's eliminate answer options and don't match social. Option a shy, which means timid. This can be eliminated. Option be quite, which means silent. This can be eliminated. Option C, social, which means friendly. This clearly means that he is not a friendly person since Matt awarded large gatherings. So option C would be the correct answer. Option D, introspective, which means self examining. This is not what we're looking for. An option E, awkward, which means tricky. Again, not what we're looking for. So the correct answer here is option C, social. Thanks for watching. We'll see you in the next video. 13. Example 5 - The Importance of Airbags: Hello there, Welcome back. Let's look at the fifth example. Not unhappy with the limited damage caused by a terrible accident, Dom decided not to dash the importance of airbags. Your answer options or Option a, acknowledged option B, Command, Option C, disregard option D, understand an option E, digress. Let's identify the context clue words and the direction words in the given sentence. The context clue word here is not unhappy with a limited damage. This phrase is a context clue because it clearly, clearly describes Tom. So how was Tom? He was not unhappy with the limited damage. Now a very important trick on the GRE would be that they generally give double negatives in the sentence. So not unhappy is a double negative. You could clearly convert that into its equivalent form, which means happy. We could read the sentence this way. Happy with the limited damage caused by a terrible accident, Tom decided not to dodge the importance of airbags. This is how we could read this given sentence. With that in mind, Simplify the sentence using the context clues and the direction words. We could come up with something like this. Happy with the limited damage caused by a terrible accident, Dom decided not to dash airbags. Here, this is a cause and effect pattern you see? Because the cost is that Tom was very happy with the limited damage. And because of being happy, he decides not to do something. Let's predict our own answer option. So we could come up with something like this. Dom decided not to ignore airbags. With that in mind, let's eliminate answer options that don't match the context. Option a acknowledged, which means to accept. This is not close to ignore. Let's eliminate that option B command, which means praise. Again, not close to ignore. We could eliminate that option C, disregard. Yes, not disregard means to ignore. And that would be the right answer. Option D, understand. Which means to comprehend not close to what we're looking for. An option, a digress, which means to deviate. So the correct answer for this particular question would be option C, disregard. So when you say Tom decided not to disregard, it clearly means Dom decided to regard. The correct answer is option C. Disregard. Thanks for watching. We'll see you in the next video. 14. Example 6 - The Psychologist: Hello there. Welcome back. Let's look at the sixth example. The psychologist set up the procedure to understand the dash of mice. You have a blank here in the sentence. Semicolon. She wanted to know how well they adapted to a change in their environment. Your answer options or Option. A, mindset. Option B, psychology. Option C, behavior. Option D, reflexes and option E, flexibility. Let's identify the context clue words and the direction words in the given sentence. The context clue word here is she wanted to study how well adapted to a change in their environment. This is the context clue word because it clearly describes what the psychologists wanted to study. The direction word in the sentence is semi-colon, which clearly tells you that the first sentence is going to be somehow related to the second sentence. That is what the semicolon tells us in this sentence. Let's simplify the sentence. We could come up with something like this. The left-hand side of the sentence tells you that the psychologists to monitor to understand something. And the right-hand side of the sentence tells you how well adapted to a change in the environment. Now since we had a semicolon here, we could clearly see that the left-hand side clearly is related to the right-hand side and vice versa. So by using the context clue on the right-hand side, we could come up with what the left-hand side could be. Let's predict our own answer. So since she wanted to study the adaptability to changing environment. So the blank must also be somehow related to adaptability. Because the psychologist is trying to study the adaptability of changing in environment. With that in mind, let's eliminate the answer options. Option, a mindset, which means attitude. Attitude is not what we're looking for. We could eliminate that answer. Option B, psychology, which means the science of mind. Again, not close to adaptability. Let's eliminate the answer. Option C, behavior, which means actions. It can be eliminated. Option D, reflexes, which means automatic actions. Again, that can be eliminated. An option E, flexibility, which means how adjustable people are. So flexibility is the right answer because that is close to adaptability. The correct answer for this particular question would be option E, flexibility. Thanks for watching. We'll see you in the next video. 15. Example 7 - Revolution In Art: Hello there, Welcome back. Let's look at the seventh example. The revolution in art has not lost its team. Semicolon. Dash on as fiercely as ever. You have a blank here, and you have to fill this particular blank with one correct answer option from the list given below. Option a. Option B, option C, edges, option D, ambles, and option E, rages. Let's identify the context clue words and the direction words on the sentence. We have two contexts clue words here. One is that it has not lost its steam, steam. And the second one, DashCon as fiercely as ever. So both these contexts clue words, they describe the revolution. And then we have a semicolon here, which tells you that this second part of the sentence is going to be related to the first half of the sentence. Let's simplify the sentence. Let's split them into left-hand side and the right-hand side. We could come up with something like this. The left-hand side of the sentence tells you that the revolution has not lost steam. And the right side of the sentence tells you it dash fiercely as ever. So we could come up with the blank. The blank is going to be somehow related to not losing steam and something to be fills as ever. We could come up with our own on corruption. Something on the lines of wildly continues. Because when something wildly continuous fiercely, it means it has not lost steam. Right? It's still continuing fiercely. With that. Let's eliminate answer options that don't match wildly. Continue. Option a trenches, which means to walk directly. This is not close to what we're looking for. We could get rid of that. Option B meanders, which means to Rome. Then we could eliminate that option C, edges, which means to surround. We could eliminate that option D, ambles, which means to wander aimlessly. We could also get rid of that option E radius. Radius means to move at a very uncontrollable speed. Ranges is clearly close to something that's widely continuing or something that's raging fiercely as ever. So E would be the right answer option. So the correct answer by the process of elimination would be option E rages. Thanks for watching. We'll see you in the next video. 16. Example 8 - Jargons in Occupations: Hello there. Welcome back. Let's look at the eighth question. Each occupation has its own dash. You have a blank in the sentence. And then you have a semicolon here. Bankers, lawyers, and computer professionals, for example, all use among themselves language which outsiders have difficulty following. The answer options or Option a, merits option be disadvantageous. Option C, rewards. Option D, jargons, and option E, problems. Let's identify the context clue words and the direction was on the given sentence. The context clue word here would be language which outsiders have difficulty following. The direction word here, like I told you earlier, would be the semicolon. The semicolon clearly tells you that the left-hand side of the sentence will be related to the right-hand side of the sentence. So we could use the right hand side information to fill up the blank on the left-hand side. Let's predict our own answer option. Let's simplify the sentence using the context clues. The left-hand side of the sentence tells you that each occupation has its own dash. And the right-hand side of the sentence tells you they use language that outsiders can't understand. The blank must be closely related to using language that outsiders have difficulty understanding. Let's predict our own answer option. We could come up with something like this. Each occupation has its own specialized set of words or specialized set of vocabulary. That is why the outsiders cannot understand the awards. Let's eliminate down through options that don't match specialized words. Option a, merits, which means excellence. This can be eliminated because this is not close to specialized language. Option be disadvantageous. Again, nowhere close to what we're looking for can be eliminated. Option C, rewards, which mean awards. Again, not the correct answer, we can eliminate that. Option. D, jargons. Know jargons is a slang for saying specialized language. Jargon would be the right answer because Joggins means using language which others have difficulty following. Option E, problems, which mean troubles. This is clearly not close to what we're looking for. We have the right answer. The correct answer here is option D, jargons. Thanks for watching. We'll see you in the next video. 17. Example 9 - Meet Jones: Hello there. Welcome back. Let's look at the ninth example. Dash by nature, Jones spoke very little even to his own family members. You have a blank in the sentence and you have to fill this blank with one correct answer option from the list given below. Option a, garrulous, option B, equivocal, option C, taciturn, option D, arrogant, and option E, Gregory's. Let's identify the context clue words and the direction words in the sentence. The context clue word here would be he spoke very little. That's it. We just have one context clue word and the given sentence. We could use this context clue to identify what the blank can be. It can be something close to speaking very little. Let's simplify the question given. We could simplify the sentence this way. Jones does a person Jones, he speaks very little to even to his family members. So what kind of person he is? He has to be dashed by nature, which means he has to be a person who doesn't speak to people at all. We could predict our answer option. We could come up with something like being reserved. So a person who is reserved means a person who speaks less to people. Let's eliminate answer options that don't match. Reserved option, a garrulous, which means talkative. This is the opposite of being reserved. We could eliminate that option be equivocal, which means to be ambiguous or to be neutral. This is not what close to what we're looking for. We could get rid of that option C, taciturn, which means on talkative or to be reserved. So C is clearly the right answer. Option D or organ, which means to be opinionated. And option E gregarious, which means social. Social is the opposite of reserved or taciturn. That can be eliminated. So the correct answer for this question would be option C, taciturn. Thanks for watching. We'll see you in the next video. 18. Example 20 - Egocentric Creatures: Hello there, Welcome back. Let's look at the next example. We individuals are egocentric creatures. Persistently dash the use of plastic packs. Those dash signs of sharper community. Wherever you journey, you notice them blocking off drainage systems, polluting the C shows an unremarkably threatening the well-being of the biosphere. The easiest solution to reduce the amount of plastic going into the ocean is to use less plastic. Let's see what do we have here? We have the first blank. We individuals are egocentric creatures. Persistently dash the use of plastic packs, persistently condoning, persistently aggravating the use of plastic bags are persistently enervating. That's the first blank. And for the second blank, we have those dash signs of sharper community, those omnipresent, those transient or those clandestine science of sharper community. Let's identify the context clue words and the direction was in the sentence. What do we have here? We individuals are egocentric creatures, so this clearly gives us an idea about the individuals. How are they? They are egocentric. We have some idea of individuals. This is the first context clue we have here. The second context clue we have variable you journey, you notice them. You notice them in blocking of drainage systems. You notice them polluting. The C shows you notice them threatening the well-being of the society. So wherever your journey in notice them, this clearly gives us an idea about the effects of plastic. We get an idea of the effects of the plastic variable. You go, you see them, that means they're almost everywhere. So these are the two main contexts clues. Now look at the direction word here, those dashed lines, sharper community. When you see those signs of sharper community, it clearly talks about the same context. Persistently dashed the use of plastic. Those dash signs are sharper community. So using this particular context here, you can understand what this particular blank would be. Having said that, let's simplify the sentence. We can get a very simplified version of the sentence this way. So the auto talks about plastic. He says that individuals are selfish creatures. Persistently dash the use of plastics. Wherever you go, you notice these signs, a sharper community. With that, Let's, let's predict our own answer. You can come up with something like this. Individuals are selfish people, persistently overlooking the use of plastic bags because we're selfish people. So we know that it's really bad. We know plastic is really bad, but still we are selfish. So we continue to use plastic bags in spite of knowing that it's really not good for the society, which means that we are overlooking the use of plastic bags. We are all egocentric people wherever you go. So another context here is who borrow you go. That means they are everywhere. You notice these universal science of sharper community, these, these, these plastic packs are almost everywhere. We have come out with our answer option. The blank one, it's option is overlooking. And for the blank to, it is universal. Now let's eliminate the answer options that don't match the prediction. So we have to just look at the answer options to see which one is close to all looking and choose that as the right answer. So condoning means to accept immoral actions knowingly excepting immoral actions. This is very close to promoting the use of plastic, because plastic, the use of plastic isn't immoral action and we're trying to accept it, which means that we are selfish people. So condoning probably sounds right, let's keep that on hold. Aggravating means to irritate. We don't have the context of irritating here. Let's get rid of that. And innovating means to be completely exhausted. This is a high-frequency GRE word. Let's get rid of that because we know we're looking for exhausting. We have eliminated option B and option C for the first blank. Let's look at blank to, we're looking for something close to universal. Option D, omnipresent means universal. That's clearly the right answer. No doubt about it. Transient means something that's short-lived. That is not the right answer. And clan the stein means something that is secret. So the correct answer for the second blank is universal or omnipresent. We have eliminated option E and F. The correct answer for this particular question would be option a, condoning the use of plastics and option D, omnipresent signs are sharper community. Thanks for watching. We'll see you in the next video. 19. Example 21 - Ostentatious Carla: Hello there, Welcome back. Let's look at the first example of texts completion to blank questions. Let's look at the first question. Clara, while residing at a cabin, would instruct her own aid to get x plus o to her bed so that the entirety of a companions would realize that she had an attendant. This dash humiliated her companion Paul, who was equally wealthy but favored or dash lifestyle. So you have a blank here. The first blank for the first plank, you'll have to fill it fit in one correct answer from the options given to you. You have this ostentation, this egotism, or this propagation. And for the second blank, you have this opulent, this, sorry, who was equally wealthy but favor and opulent lifestyle. Who favored a SAT nine lifestyle or to favor an understated lifestyle, right? With that, let's identify the context clue words and the direction words in the sentence. So what do we have here? We have the first contexts clue about Clara. So what do we know about her? She would instruct her own AID. Aid is nothing but a man servant. She would instruct her own a to get Espresso to her bet. So she had that kind of behavior. It clearly described so behavior. This dash, humiliated or husband who was equally wealthy. We have another information about her companion Paul. A companion Paul is equally welding. It clearly describes Paul, clearly gives us a context clue about Paul. Now we have a contradictory direction word here, but so we have the context is Paul being equally wealthy. But Paul favored a dashed lifestyle, which clearly indicates that this particular context favoring what kind of lifestyle. This clearly goes against this kind of a lifestyle. This is the contradictory world. But having said that, let's simplify the sentence. What do we get? Clara? We have Clara, she instructs to get coffee to her bed, to show off to a friends. This is what we know about her. Now, this dash, you can clearly see, this clearly refers to the act of getting espresso to her bed, right? You can see this show off to a friends. So this dash humiliated her husband, who is equally wealthy but favored, a dashed lifestyle. Right now we can predict our own answer. You can say this show off. It clearly talks about the show off that we have in the earlier part of the sentence. So we have the shelf humiliated her companion who was equally wealthy but prepare preferred a dash lifestyle. We know that this particular blank should be something opposite of shelf. You can say an underrated lifestyle and ungraded is probably a negative lifestyle. So let's eliminate the answer options. What do we have here? Let's look at the options. Let's see which one is very close to shore. Ostentation means show off. This is a high-frequency GRE word. And ostentation clearly means show off. Let's tick mark that as the answer. Let's look at the next option. Egoism, which is selfishness, clearly not close to shore and propagation means to spread. This is again not close to show off, so we can confirm a to be the right answer for the first plank. Let's move on to the second blank. So we have eliminated for the first blank option B and C. Let's move on to the blend tool. We have option D, opulent, which means luxurious, which is nowhere close to underrated. Let's get rid of that. Sat a nine, which means gloomy. Again, nowhere close to underrated. Let's get rid of that. And understated means under rated. That's the right answer. So we have managed to eliminate option D, option E. So the correct answer for this particular question. For the first blank, it's option a, ostentation. And for the second blank is option F understated. Thanks for watching. We'll see you in the next video. 20. Example 22 - The Global Entrepreneur: Hello there, Welcome back. Let's look at the next example. An entrepreneur needs to dash his range of vision. Semicolon, or a dash point of view will get you nowhere in this global age. So what do we have here? An entrepreneur needs two dashes. Vision. You have the first blank for the first plank, you have the word, he needs to restrict his vision. He needs to envisages vision, or he needs to broaden his vision. Then we have a semicolon or a dash point of view. So for display, you have a provincial point of view. We'll get him Nova. A modest point of view. We'll get him nova, or an inclusive point of view, we'll get him Nova. Let's identify the context clue words in a direction was in the sentence. What do we have here? First, we have the semicolon, which clearly indicates the direction, which means that the right-hand side of the sentence will be related to the left-hand side of the sentence is very clear. So we have the semicolon, the left-hand side is related to the right-hand side. Well, let's look at the context clue. On the right-hand side we have a context clue. What is the context clue or dash point of view will get you nowhere in this global H. So we have a quality of an entrepreneur, what kind of a skill we'll get him Nova in this digital, Digital Age describes that kind of an entrepreneur. So this becomes the context clue for the sentence. Now having said that, let's simplify the sentence. What do we get? On the left-hand side we have an entrepreneur says he needs two dashes, origins or dashes probably you can say is areas, right? And then we have a semicolon here. On the right-hand side, we have a dashpot of you will get nowhere and this global age. So what can we predict? Next? Let's print our answer. He needs to widen his horizontal, right? He needs to widen and widen this ordinance. He needs to see beyond. Anyone can see why he doesn't need to see beyond anyone can see. Because a dash point of view, we'll get him nowhere in this digital age of this global age. So what point of view we'll get him nova, or local point of view will let him know that if he's a person who looks only locally, that's clearly going to get him Nova in this global age. So he has to widen his horizontal. She has to go beyond his borders. So we have widen for the first blank and we have local for the second blank. Now let's eliminate answer options that don't match the prediction. Let's see which one is close to widen. You have option a as restricted, which means limit. This is nowhere close to widen. Let's get rid of that. Envisage means to foresee, means to predict. We're trying to predict anything. We're just trying to look beyond the border borders. So we don't have any kind of prediction. They may be right or maybe wrong. Let's get rid of option B. Broaden means why didn't he uses he used it has to see beyond his borders, we can clearly eliminate option a and B. For the second blank, Let's look at something close to local. We have option D, provincial, which means narrow-minded. Narrow-minded is another word for saying being local, being local, or being narrow-minded. This is the correct answer. Modest means to have a moderate point of view. We're not looking for a moderate point of view. And inclusive means to have a comprehensive point of view. Again, we don't have in inclusive because of a local attitude will get them nowhere in this digital age, you can say option E and F are eliminated. The correct answer for this particular question is option C broaden, and option D provincial. Thanks for watching. We'll see you in the next video. 21. Example 23 - Occidental Culture: Hello there. Welcome back. Let's look at the next example. Occidental culture, also known as Western civilization, was considered the dash of intelligence. So you have a blank here. It was considered a dash of intelligence and civilization. Only a dash person by clarity and accuracy knew them well. So the Western civilization was considered a dash of intelligence and civilization for the first blank, you have considered a repository, considered a labyrinthine, are considered a qualm. For the second blank, you have only a dash person, knew them well. Only an educated person or divine person, or an obtuse person knew them well. Let's identify the context clue words and the direction words in the sentence. What do we have here? The first context clue we have is intelligence and civilization. So clearly talks about the Western Civilization, also known as Occidental culture. It was considered as the dash of intelligence and civilization. This is what we know about the Western civilization. And only a dash person by clarity and accuracy knew them well. It clearly describes the person who knows western civilization. The person who is very clear, the personal is very accurate, can only know completely about Western civilization. We have the start action word here, which is only that clearly tells us the condition. It's a conditional clause. It tells us only this kind of a person would understand the Western culture and no other person. The person should be very clear and well accurate then only he may know the Western culture. Other words, it's impossible to know Western culture and civilization. Having said that, let's simplify the sentence. Let's see what do we get here? We have Occidental culture. It's considered a dash of intelligence and civilization. Only a dash person by clarity and accuracy knew them well. Now let's predict our own answer. You can come up with something like this. It is considered the storehouse of intelligence and civilization. Or you can say it's considered the knowledge bank of intelligence and civilization. Knowledge bank or the store house, something like that, right? And only a dash person, by clarity and accuracy, knew them well. You can say only a well-read person or a well-educated person, knew them well. Alright, so we have the first blank is a storehouse or a bank. And the second word we have is a well-read or an educated person. With that, let's eliminate answer options that don't match the prediction. Option. A repository means store house. So storehouse clearly means the word that we're looking for. It's a bank. So just like how we have to Google Drive. So this is also a one kind of a repository. It's a bank to store information. The second is labyrinthine. Labyrinth and means an entanglement or a completely confusing situation. This is nowhere close to what we're looking for. This is a high-frequency GRE word. Let's get rid of that. Qualm means doubting. Again, nowhere close to what we're looking for. Let's get rid of that. So the first blank is a repository and option B and C can be eliminated with that. Let's look at the second blank. We're looking for something like well-read. Option D, educated means well-read. It's clearly close to what we have. So an educated person by definition knew them well. Sorry, let's go to, let's mark this answer. Divine person means godly person. We don't have the context of a godly person here. Let's get rid of that. And obtuse means stupid. But again, we don't have the context of being stupid. We have the correct answer is option D. Well-read, option E and F can clearly be eliminated. So the correct answer for this particular question is option a repository and option D. Educated. Thanks for watching. We'll see you in the next video. 22. Example 24 - Sophocles - Greatest Playwright: Hello there. Welcome back. Let's look at the next example. So focus has been dashed as one of the greatest playwrights in ancient Greece. And on several occasions dashes the person lacking the visit him to write those plays. For the first blank, your answer options or Option a, crown option be condemned. Option C, reprimanded. For the second blank, your answer options or option D. Option E, dismissed, and option F, reward. Let's see how to do this particular question. First, as usual, we have to identify the context clue words, and the direction words. Let's see what do we have here? Yes. So we have a lot of words and phrases describing Sophocles. Let's look at those. So first of all, we know that he is the greatest playwright in ancient Greece. So many people describe, describe him as one of the greatest playwrights in ancient Greece. This is a phrase that is positive and it describes so fabulous. So we have this as the context clue. Next, let's see what do we have about him lacking the wisdom, right? On several occasions, people describing as, described him as the person lacking the wisdom. So again, you have a phrase describing so far plus, this is also a, this is a negative phrase by the way, right? So we have two phrases describing so forklifts. One is positive, the other one is negative. Now let's see what direction, what do we have here? You have start action word and which indicates that the whole sentence should be on the same direction. Okay, So we have this on the same direction. This is what we know about the sentence. Now using the context clues in the direction works. Let's see how to simplify the sentence. So let's see what do we get? So we have Sophocles. He has been dashes the greatest playwright in Greece, and which means it's the same direction. Many times dash is the person lacking the visit him to write those place. I know that this has to be in the same direction as this. This is the first sentence you have. The second sentence you have. Both of these must be on the same direction. What does it mean? If the first sentence is positive? The second sentence must also be positive. In the first sentence is negative, the second must also be negative. That is the meaning of this direction world. Right? Now having that in mind, let's predict our own answer. Let's see what do we get here? So here's B, hailed as one of the greatest playwrights. So how do we know that it's held here? Because you know that the first blank gives you a positive direction. Well sorry, a positive context triggered. So you have here the greatest playwright, which is really positive. So obviously people would have hailed him as the greatest playwright. This phrase, this whole part here is positive. So since this part here is positive, we have this Andrea and onto the second part must also be positive. What do we have here? Many times dashes the person lacking the wisdom to write those plays. Now look at this very carefully. Many times dashes the person lacking the wisdom, lagging the wisdom is a negative ratio right? Now in order to make this whole sentence positive, in order to make this whole sentence positive, you need to come out with a negative ratio. If you put a negative phrase here, this negative will cancel out this particular negative and the whole phrase would become positive. So you can come up with something like this. Many times dismissed, or many times brushed off as a person lagging the wisdom tried those plays. When you say that he has been brushed off, that means this particular part. A lot of people say that lagging the wisdom tried to write those place. That is actually dismissed. That means it's a very positive person. That means you have a very positive context about him. That means the negative side is brushed off. When you say the negative side is brushed off, obviously the result is positive. Got it. So you have this sentence here, both a positive and you have this word that you have predicted is brushed off, right? With that, let's try to eliminate answer options that are not close to what we have. Let's look at the options and see which option is close to hailed. We'll choose that one. Crowned. Crowned is very close to hailed. So Sophocles has been crowned as the greatest playwrights. And this is a very close on, so let's keep that on hold. Condemned option B, which means to downgrade. This is not a positive word. Let's get rid of that. And reprimanded means to disprove or to punish someone. This is again, not a positive word. Let's get rid of that. For the second blank, we're looking for something like brushed off or two, dismissed a surge for that, for the blank one, your options a, B, and C would be clearly eliminated. And we're left with option a, which is grounded. For the second blank, we're looking for something close to brushed off. A soldier would mean to provide relief. This is nowhere close to brushed off. Let's get rid of that. Dismissed would be again to brushed off. That's clearly the answer what you have. So he has been dismissed or ASB, they have brushed off as the person lacking the wisdom tried those plays. So E would be the right answer here. And F, reward means to worship. We don't have, we don't need a positive audio. Let's get rid of that, right, so we have the correct answer as option E. So your options D and F are clearly illuminated. With that, the correct answer by the process of elimination would be option a and option E dismissed. 23. Example 25 - A Controversial Statement : Hello there. Welcome back. Let's look at the next example. Even though it was not the board's practice to dash the credibility of its scholars. The chairman felt that the research fellows controversial statement on minorities and the society couldn't stay. Dash for the first blank. Your answer options or Option a, safeguard. Option B, contemplate option C, sub outage. And for the second blank, your options or option D in effectual, option E, undisputed. Option F are formed. Let's see how to do this particular question. Let's identify the context clue words and the direction words in the sentence. So what contexts clues do we have? Yes, we have quite a few contexts keywords. So first context clue word is credibility of its scholars. This clearly describes the scholars. So what do we know about the scholars, even though does not the board's practice to dash the credibility of its scholars. So you know that the scholars have credibility. Many of the scholars, they have credibility, which is very positive. So we have a positive context clue word here. Let's see what other describing. What do you have? The chairman felt that the research fellows controversial statement on the minorities. So we have a controversial statement by the research fellow describes the research fellows that are marketers. It's very controversial. So we know that this is a positive idea and this is a negative idea. We have this direction word, even though, even though clearly tells us that if one idea is positive, the second idea has to be negative, right? This is the opposite direction. And even though these kinds of direction words, they attract opposite ideas. So if one is positive, the other one would be negative. If one is negative, the other first part is negative. The second part must be positive. So this is the nature of the direction would Simplify the sentence. Let's see what do we have here? We have the research fellows remark. It is not the board's practice to dash the scholars credibility. But the chairman felt that the controversial statement on minorities couldn't stay dash. With this. Let's try to predict our own answer. Let's see what we get here. It was not the board's practice to weaken the scholars credibility. It's not the board's practice to weaken. Or you could probably say it's not the boats practice to dismiss the scholars is credibility, right? Normally they don't discredit anyone. If the scholar gives us a positive idea, the board accepts it. So it's not the boats policy to we can auto dismiss something. But in this case, what happens is, even though it's not the board's policy to dismiss any scholars credibility in this case. You have something contradictory. The chairman felt that this controversial statement on the minorities could not stay. You could come something like we can or could not stay unquestioned. Right. So even though it's not the boats policies to undermine someone or to discard someone. In this case, they had to discard it. Which means the chairman filled with a controversial statement, couldn't stay unquestioned. That means it had to be questioned at any cost in this case because you know that you have a contradictory direction word here, even though. Okay. So with this, we have created our own on, so we have weakened here for the first blank and you have unquestioned for the second blank. Let's eliminate answer options. Let's see which ones don't match around. So let's get rid of that. We can safeguard is to protect, contemplate is to think deeply and subarctic is to undermine. Yes, so from these three options, voltage would clearly be very close to weakening or to undermine someone. Let's keep that on hold. Your Option a and B get eliminated. For the second blank you have unquestioned. Let's see what do we have here? In effectual would mean ineffective, undisputed would mean unchallenged. And a firm would mean to support unchallenged and undisputed is the same as unquestioned. Option E is the closest answer. Option D and F get eliminated. By the process of elimination, you're correct answers or Option C sub outage. An option E, undisputed. 24. Example 26 - Fashion Icon Coco Chanel: Hello there. Let's look at the next example. Fashion icon Coco Chanel, known for her funny yet sarcastic with remarked in her usual simultaneously dash and dash manner. Dress shabby Lee and they remember the dress, dress impeccably. And then notice the woman. For the first blank, your answer options or Option a, defamatory, option B, humerus, and option C, important. And for the second blank, your answer options or option D. Option E spiritual, an option F, scornful. Let's see how this particular question, we're going to identify the context clue words and the direction words in the sentence. What contexts clue words you have here. Yes, so fashion icon Coco Chanel. She has made a funny sarcastic remark. So we have this phrase describing Coco Chanel remarks. This is funny, sarcastic, right? Yes, this is what we know about the context clue. Let's look at the direction word here. In her. Simultaneously, dash and dash man as a simultaneously tells you that the whole context isn't the same direction. Right? Next, let's simplify the sentence. So we're going to simplify this whole sentence. We're going to bring this down into a very simple form. And the form would have the context clue word and the direction world. Let's see what do we get here. So Coco Chanel's remarks in her usual simultaneously dash and dash manner. There is Chablis and then remember the dress, dressed impeccably. They notice the woman. So you have here, she's already made funny, she's already made a very funny sarcastic remark. This is what we know about her in her usual simultaneously a dash and dash minus. So it's very clear that this phrase, dash must be very close to funny. And the second blank, blank must be very close to sarcastic. This is a very clear indication of what you have here. With that, let's predict our own answer. For the first blank, you can come up with something like very close to funny. You can come up with something Funny. Yes, You can see funny. So she remarks in a very funny. And for the second blank, obviously you can come up with the same word, sarcastic. Right? So you have funny, It's sarcastic. She remarks in how funny and sarcastic manner. There's no need to come up with something different. You can just use the context clues and get to the same word. As long as you fit the blank, as long as you're in context, it's perfectly fine. You don't have to force yourself and think for a new word. You can get the words. You can put the words in the same context itself. So we have come up with funny, we've come up with sarcastic. The blank one must be something close to funny and the blank tumors be something close to sarcastic. Let's eliminate answer options. Option a is defamatory, which means slanderous. Option B is humerus, which means I'm using an option C is important, which means serious. From the three options. Option B is clearly close to funny, which means humerus. Let's start our shortlist. Option B. Option a and c get eliminated. Option a and c get eliminated. Let's look at the second blank. We're looking for something close to sarcastic. What it means to be very concerned. Spiritual means something who's someone who's Non materialistic and scornful means to be very sarcastic, right? So it's very clear sauce conflicts is very close to sarcastic tone. So let's choose conflict. Get rid of D and E. So D and E gets eliminated. Your final answer and answer options or option B, humerus and option F, scornful. 25. Example 27 - Women Political Leaders: Let's go to the next question. The woman political leaders, WP L, which has been closely monitoring the developments in Afghanistan since the withdrawal of US and nato forces was not only the dash of the long term proposal, law ratification, but also the dash which eventually got the civil rights bill passed. For the first blank, your answer options are perfectionist. Option B, attacker and option C supporter. For the second blank, your answer options or option D, stimulant. Option E, materialistic, and option of man servant. Identify the context words and the direction words. Let's see what do we have here? We have the context clue words here, which eventually got the civil rights bill passed. This phrase here, which contexts which eventually got the civil rights bill passed. This clearly describes the outcome of the bill. This clearly describes the outcome of the bill. The outcome of the sounds to be very positive. And the direction word here is not only but also. So when you see a phrase like not only but also, it clearly indicates that the phrases on the same direction. So let me give you an example. For example, if I say John is not only rich, but also dash. So this blank must be something close to rich. So probably you can come up with something like famous. If I say, John is not only poor, but also dash, then probably this blank must be something close to pole. So you can come up with something like Miss early. So this is a very clear meaning that not only but also will be in the same direction. So the phrase we have here is not only x but also y. So x and y must be on the same direction. This is what we know. Using them. Let's simplify the given sentence. Let's see what do we have here? So we're going to simplify this version this way. Yes, so we have the WP L, which is the women political leaders. It was not only the dash, but also the dash which eventually got the civil rights bill passed. Not only the dash but also the dash. So here you have, since the result is positive, which eventually got the bill passed, this is a very positive context here. So the blanks must also be positive. So first of all, we know that not only but also will attract to same words. If the first blank is obviously positive, the second blank must also be positive. Because you know that the net result is also positive in God, the civil rights bill to pass. If it had been the civil rights bill to fail, obviously, the blanks would have been negative. So now having that in mind, let's come up with a very positive audio. So you can put something like it was the it was not only the advocate, right? Because you can say you can say advocate or you can say something like false. It does not really the force that brought the bill to pass. But it was also the prominent, again, very, something very close to false. So proponent of catalyst, anything you can see, not only the advocate or not only the force, but also the provenance, also the capitalist, something positive. So you can come up with something like advocate for the first blank and proponent for the second blank. With that, let's eliminate answer options. Let's see what do we have here? Advocate. For the first option you have perfectionist, which means idealistic. Blank canvas or the, sorry, the option B would be attacker. Attacker would mean a critic and support her would mean a prominent yes, it's very clear option C has to be the right answer. So we have to eliminate option a and B. Option C, supportive clearly means a person who is an advocate. If you eliminated option a and option B. For the second blank, Let's see which one is close to proponent of provenance, or you can say a catalyst. Stimulant means the catalyst. This is clearly the answer. Let's choose that. Option. E. Materialistic would mean someone who's money-oriented and mansoni would mean just a servant. So option E and F are clearly eliminated. So you have your answer. Option B is the correct answer, and E and F would be clearly eliminated. So your final answer, our options or Option C and option D, stimulant. 26. Example 28 - Taciturn Clara: Hello there, Welcome back. Let's look at the next example. Clara was not a person to dash or accomplishments. So her family members were quite astounded when they finally discovered that they are dashed data secure a full Gates Cambridge Scholarship. This is the first blank for the first blank or answer options or Option a, separate option. B, camouflage. Option C, proclaim. And for the second blank, your answer options or option D, extravagant options CE taciturn, and option F, profligate. Let's see how this particular question, let's identify the context clue words, and the direction word. Let's see what do we have here? So she was not a person. So this is clearly a negative direction word here. So Clara is not this kind of a person. So you notice the direction. What is something negative, which means it is going to contradict. Let's see what words describe Clara. She was not a person to dash her accomplishments, which means she had several accomplishments to her name. This is one word that describes Clara. She has several accomplishments to a name which is very positive. She also secured a full Gates Cambridge Scholarship. This is also a very positive sounding statement. We have two phrases that describes Karla and let's see what describes the family. So the family members who are astounded, they were surprised. They were shocked when they found out this particular situation that she had lot of accomplishes, accomplishments to a name. And she also was able to secure a full Gates Cambridge Scholarship. The family members were clearly astounded. Astounded clearly described Scholars, family members reactions to her accomplishments. So having that in mind, let's simplify sentence. You can come up with a very simplified version this way. So we have Clara here. What do we know about here? She's not a person who dash her accomplishments. So the family members were dash when their daughter, so via secured a full Gates Cambridge Scholarship. So with that, let's try to come up with our own option. So Clara's, so we're, we're coming up with our own option. Let's predict our own answer. So Clara's not a person who announces, or Clara's not a person who tells our shouts. You can come up with anything like this on the same lines. So she's not that kind of a person who goes out and tells out everyone about her accomplishments. She is not that kind of a person shouldn't see, is not that kind of a person. The family members are quite surprised when they found out that they are dashed auto, secured a full Gates Cambridge Scholarship. So again, this blank should clearly describe the data. But how is the data? She is a person who doesn't speak to anyone. She doesn't she's a person who doesn't announce our accomplishments to everyone. So what do we call that kind of a person? We call that a person has a very quiet person or being to oneself. So Clara is a very quiet person. So this is what you know about her. So we have option a is for the blank one you have announced. For the blank do you can come up with quite. Now with that, let's get rid of answer options that don't fit our choice. Option. A separate means to set apart, which is nowhere close to announce. Let's get rid of that option. Be camouflaged, means to cover up. And this is also not close to announce. Let's get rid of that. Option. C is to proclaim, which means to announce. This is clearly the correct answer. So we have managed to eliminate option a and B. For the second blank, Let's see which one is close to quite. Option D, extravagant, which means spendthrift, nowhere close to quite. That's it turn means a person who is untargeted. A personal doesn't talk to people. A person who is, who is always by himself. So taciturn is the right answer. And perfectly it would mean to be very wasteful, to be very truthful. So this would clearly be out of the context. So Option D and F are clearly illuminated. So the correct answers by for this question would be option C proclaimed an option E, taciturn. 27. Example 29 - 35 Carat Diamond Ring: Hello there. Welcome back. Let's look at the next example. The old woman was totally dash for when a stranger returned to her the 35 carat diamond ring that she had lost some 40 years ago in the dash muddy waters of the Ganges River. This is the first blank. For the first blank you have option a, astonished option be exasperated and option C and are waiting for the second blank. You have option D, murky. Option E, pristine, an option if tepid, defy the context clue words and the direction works. Let's see what do we have here? The context clue words are returned. So you have returned. This word clearly describes the strangers actions. So what did the stranger do? The stranger returned the 35 carat diamond ring. So it's very surprising thing that a person returns the diamond ring. You have returns. So you know something about the stranger. Now you have, you, you see this context clue word here, lost. So it clearly describes the woman's actions. Why did she do? She lost something very precious and they're going to have muddy. It clearly describes the water. How's the water? The water is muddy. Now we get a very clear idea that she lost something in a muddy water and a stranger returns to her that same thing. So she's clearly surprised. You have four here, which means the whole context is in the same direction. So with that, let's try to simplify this. Let's see what do we have here? We have the old woman. Let's see what do we know about her? She was totally dash when a stranger gave back the diamond ring, she lost in the dash, muddy waters of the Ganges. Obviously you need, you can know that this is something very close to being surprised. When the stranger gave back to her the diamond ring she lost in that dash waters. So obviously this particular blank should be something close to muddy because probably she was not able to find the waters because find the ring because it was a muddy water. So she's obviously so price from the stranger gave it back to her after some 40 years, after some 40 years. So with that, let's predict our own options. So you can come up with something like, yes, the woman was totally amazed, the luminous, totally surprised, right? So amazed would be something closer to the first blank. When she lost the diamond ring. When she found the diamond ring, she lost in the dash Muddy Waters. You can come up with. The dirty is very close to muddy. The second blank should be something close to dirty, which is very close to muddy. That. Let's get rid of answer options that don't match. Amazed and dirty. So for the first one, Let's see. Astonished would mean dumbfounded. Exasperated would mean full of anger. And enter way to do it mean to be extremely tired or exhausted from these three options. Option a is very close to being very surprised, very shocked. So option B and C are clearly illuminated. And let's see which often is close to dirty. You have option D, mercury, which means muddy, something close to dirty. Let's look at the other options anyway. Option E, pristine, which means unspoiled, or which is something which is very pure. This is nowhere close to what we're looking for. Let's get rid of that and tip. It means lukewarm. Again, lukewarm has nothing to do in this context. So option E and F gets eliminated. D would be the right answer, which is very close to muddy. Your correct answer options or Option a, astonished, an option D, murky. 28. Example 10 - Musicians vs Traditionalists: Many popular musicians have dash new digital technologies that allow them unprecedented control over the music. These musicians use computers to touch and modify the songs, resulting in a level of musical precision. Often unattainable naturally. Of course, though, as it's often the case with new technologies, some Traditionalists dash these developments. You have three blanks in this particular question. And for the first blank, you will have to fill in one correct answer option from the list given to you. Your answer options or Option a Incorporated option be synthesized and option C alleviated. This is the second blank. And for the second blank, your options or option D energize. Option E, delineate, and option F, recast. You have to fill only one particular answer. For the third blank, your answer options or Option G, bucket, option H, revealing an option I retaliated. Let us see how to do this particular question. First, we're going to identify the context clue words and the direction works in the given sentence. What are the direction was in the context clue was in the sentence. The first phrase, I love them, unprecedented control over their music. This phrase clearly describes the musicians, and therefore, that's going to be the first context clue for this particular blank. For the second blank, we have the direction word and the context clue modified, which clearly tells us that the blank must be similar to the word modify. And for the third blank, we have the contradictory conjunction, though. We should clearly indicate that this part of the sentence should clearly contradict the previous part of the sentence. Next, let us simplify the sentence using these contexts clues. What do we get? We get the sentence. This is a simplified version of the sentence. On the one hand, we have these musicians and what do we know about them? These musicians dash technologies that allow them unprecedented control over the music. They use computers to dash and modify their songs. And on the other hand, we have the traditionalists, though, dash these developments. Now let's predict our own answer options using the modified version of the sentence. One important thing to notice that the blanks of the texts completion function independently, which means you don't have to do the blanks in the order they appear. Having said that, we could proceed to the second blank directly, which clearly tells us that the blank must be something to modify. So we could come up with something like that. These musicians, they use computers to edit and modify songs. This word edit is the closest towards to modify. So we have the blank edit to have come up with our own answer. And that is edit for the second blank. For the first blank, we could come up with a phrase such as, musicians use technologies that allow them unprecedented control over their music. And for the third blank, since we know that the traditionalists, they go against the idea of the musicians, we could come something like this. The traditionalists ignore these developments. Now let's eliminate answer options that don't match our predicted answer. For the first blank, we have the word use will have to see which option is very close to use. Let's look at option a Incorporated. It would mean to implement. Implement is very close to use. We could keep this on hold. So I'm circling option a. Let's put let's go to the second blank and the third blank and see whether we have any other better answer option. So option B is synthesized, which means to combine. This is definitely not close to use. We could get rid of this. And option C is to alleviate, which means to reduce. And again, this is not close to use, so we could eliminate this. So the correct answer for the first blank would be option a Incorporated. Move on to the second blank. Let's see which option is close to the word edit. Option D energize, which means enthusiasm. This is nowhere close to edit. We could get rid of that option E delineate, which means to describe, again nowhere close to edit, we could get rid of that. Option F recast, which means rework. Rework means to do something once again, all which means to edit option F can be kept on hold. Moving on to the third blank, Let's see which option is close to. Ignore. Option G bucket, which means to avoid. This is very close to ignore. Let's keep it on hold. Option H to rebel, in, which means to enjoy. This is clearly not close to what we want. We could get rid of that option I to retaliate in, which means to fight back. Now we don't have any context of the traditionalists fighting back. If you had contexts like the traditionalists probably held slogans or the bond posters, then we could have clue that they fought back. But as of now we don't have anything of that. So we could get this answer option. So the correct answer for this particular question would be option a Incorporated option E recast and Option G bucket. Thanks for watching. We'll see you in the next video. 29. Example 11- A Fast Paced Life: Welcome back. Let's look at the second example. As a result of the dash pace of life. Urban living, dash many young professionals, the opportunity to dash their lives with a sense of constant excitement. This is the first one blank. And we'd have to fill in this particular blank with the answer options given below. Your answer options or Option a, intrinsic. Option B, a female, and option C, phonetic. For the second blank, your answer options or option D instigates. Option E affords an option F, aggregates. And for the third blank, your answer options or Option G is true. Option H into an option I imbue. Now let's identify the context clue words and the direction words on the sentence. We have the first direction word has, as a result, which clearly indicates that we have a cause and effect pattern on the sentence. As the cell clearly indicates that the first part of the sentence is the cause. And the second part of the sentence should be the effect. Now normally what happens whenever we have a cause and effect pattern? The cause and effect is generally on the same direction. Which means that if the cause is positive, the effect is also positive. And if the cause is negative, the effect should also be negative. Now in this case, contexts glue for the third blank is constant excitement, which clearly tells us that the first blank, which is the cause, must be related to constant excitement. And for the second blank, we have the word opportunity, which clearly tells us what the second blank could be. Now, let's simplify the given sentence. We could come up with something like this. So we have the cause which tells you that as a result of the task pace of life. And we have the effect that tells you urban living dash young professionals the opportunity to dash their lives if the sense of constant excitement. Now, let's predict the answer options for the first blank. Since we have the word which is very similar to constant excitement, we could come up with something like As a result of the fast pace of life. Urban living provides young professionals the opportunity to fill their lives with a sense of constant excitement. These are the three blanks we could come up with. Now, let's eliminate answer options that don't match our predicted answer. For the first blank, we have the word fast. Let's see which options are very close to fast. Option a is inbound, which is not close to fast, we could get rid of that option, be ephemeral, which means short-lived. Again, nowhere close to fast. Get rid of that option C frenetic, which means fast and energetic. This is the correct answer for the first blank. For the second line, we have the word provides. Let's see which option is close to that. Option D instigates which means to initiate. This is nowhere close to provides we could get rid of that. Option E affords, which means to give, which means to provide. This could closely be what we want. Let's keep that on hold. And F would be aggregates, which means to assume something. This is nowhere close to provide. Good. Get rid of that. And for the third blank, we have the word fill. Let's see which often is close to fill. Option G to avoid. This is nowhere close to fill. We could eliminate this option H into which means to lay to rest, again Nova close to fill and get rid of that option I imbue, which means to fill. This is the correct answer for the third blank. So our correct answer options are options. See frenetic for the first blank. Option, E affords for the second blank, an option I imbue for the third blank. Thanks for watching. We'll see you in the next video. 30. Example 12 - The Importance Of Humor: Hello there, Welcome back. Let's look at the third example. Human has great importance in life, and it makes a person's life interesting and enjoyable. Humor is the dash of a particular cognitive incidents to provide amusement and provoke laughter. Humor is the dash to make something laughable. If you get dash and amusement by something, then you must accept the fact that this thing really exists. So this is the first blank in the sentence, and you have to fill this particular blank with your options. One correct answer from the answer options given below. Option a, propensity, option B, extinction, and option C utilization. This is your second blank. And you will have to fill in the answer options from option D, option E, equality, and option F, ability. Then you have the third blank here. Your answer options or Option G, Pleasure, option H, happiness, and option I, hilarity. First, let's, as usual, we're going to identify the context clue words and the direction words in the sentence. The first context clue we have here is humor is the dash of a particular cognitive incidents. So cognitive incident is something related to the process of thinking. How we generally think. That is known as cognitive incidents. So this is going to be the first context clue because it tells us what humerus, humerus the dash to make something laughable if you get dash and amusement. Now look at this clearly. We have the direction word here and which clearly tells you that this particular blank is going to be something very close to amusement. Amusement is going to be the second context clue that tells us what this particular blank would be. If you could dash and amusement by something the numerous except the fact that distinct rarely exists. This thing really exists. This is clearly giving us another hint on what the author is trying to tell us. Tell us about humor. Distinct, clearly exists would mean it is something in it. That means it's something that within all of us. So we have found out the context clue words and the direction words. Next here we're going to simplify the sentence using these contexts clues. So what do we get here? We have three parts to this particular sentence, right? The dash humor is the dash of cognitive incidents to provide amusement. It is a dashing people to make something laughable. If you get dash and amusement, that distinct really exists. So we've simplified the sentence. Now it's time for us to predict our own answer options. Let's see what do we come up with. Can directly go to the third blank because like I told you earlier, the blanks will not be free in the order they appear. You can fill them in any order. So we'll add a third blank because we clearly have a context clue here and it's very easy to spot it out if you get dash and amusement. So it's very simple. This particular blank should be very similar to amusement because of the word direction, word and something plus amusement. We could come up with something like enjoyment, because enjoyment is something close to amusement. We have the third blank ready here. Coming to the next part. We have something as this thing really exists. So we had seen already that when this thing really exists, it has to be something in it. Which means something which is natural in people. So if you could come up with something that is inborn, human is inbound and people, because we have the context of this thing really existing within people. And for the first blank, we could come up with something like the humor is the process, or it's the tendency of cognitive incidents. So we have come up with three particular blanks here. The blank one would be tendency, the blend tool would be inborn, and the blank three would be enjoyment. Now, let's see which answer options don't match our predicted answers. For the first blank, we're looking for tendency. Let's see what do we come up with. So option a propensity, which means having a natural tendency towards something. This is clearly fitting a blank because it's clearly describing what humor could be. We could choose this as our answer. And extinction would mean just an add-on feature. Utilization would mean to use. So both these can be clearly limited because we're not looking at these kinds of words. The next is inbound, something that's within all of us. This is a little tricky word. Let's see how do we do it? Option D, art, art is an expression and art is something that we can learn it. It is not, it need not be inborn. We can learn it. Quality is something that is naturally given to you. Okay? Let's keep this on hold because quality is something that we possess naturally. Option F, ability is again, potential. And ability is also something that we can acquire with experience. We need not be born with it. For the third plank, we're looking for something close to enjoyment. Pleasure is very close to enjoyment because it requires an external stimuli. With each shot this will keep this on hold. Happiness, which means to being happy. This may not be the answer because you may be happy with you even if you're alone right here we have something close to amusement, which means you need an external. You need an external stimuli to make you happy. That is the context of amusement. But in the case of happiness, people can be alone being happy. So you need not have an external stimulus to be happy. That's what happiness may or may not be the answer. So we've eliminated that. Compared to happiness, pleasure is a very, very good word, very close to amusement. And hilarity would mean extreme amusement. We don't have the context of extreme amusement, so we could get rid of that. Because all contexts is a very neutral here. We have the three answers ready here. Your final answers or Option, a propensity, option E, quality and option I, pleasure. 31. Example 13 - Writing Break up Poems: Hello there, Welcome back. Let's look at the fourth example. Writing breaker poems is one of the means of dash, one's heart. Out of all the poets who wrote breakup poetry. William Shakespeare is the most famous of all. His poems without doubt, express the separation of levels. You do not need write a dash point. If the metal powder into the subject of the breakup poem is unfortunate, it can be funny as well, where you can discuss the things you are excused to do and was not at all liked by you. All the things should be listed in the poem, right on through to three lines on the imposing nature of your x or the positiveness he or she used to have for you. It can explicit the way you are now, dash your parting with your ex, whom you in fact were not able to cope up with, right? So this is the particular text completion question. And your blank cell for the blank one, you have, this is your blank one. For blank when you have options, option a, expressing option B, lightning, and option C, relieving healer is your blank to blank. Do you have option D, option E, desolate, and option F, pregnant? For the third blank, you have Option G, viewing option H, celebrating an option I and j. So these are the three blanks. The sentence may look really long, but there's nothing to worry about it because we have a very simple process to do this particular question. Remember, all questions can be done using the four-step action plan, which identifies, simplify, predict, and eliminate. First as usual, we're going to identify the context clue words and the direction words in the sentence. Contexts fluids are basically words that describe the situation and direction words would tell us. In which direction will the sentence go? Will it be in the same direction, or will it be contradictory to the previous sentence, right? These are the only two things will have to know, right? So now let's try to find out the context clues in the direction words. Let's see what do we have here? First, we have the word express, expresses the first context clipboard in the sentence, because it tells us exactly something about William Shakespeare. Does this. William Shakespeare is the most famous of all. His poems, without doubt, express the separation of flowers. This is probably how breakup points must be written. It has to express something here because obviously William Shakespeare, as the passage tells us, is the master of all breakpoints. So probably, you know, salt, right, really good breakpoint, right? So poem should express the separation of levels. It has to express something that's clearly a big indicator of what the blank could be or what the contexts could be. Not need write a dash point, right? If the matter pertaining to this object is unfortunate, it can be funny as well. So look at this. You don't, you don't not have to write a dash poem. It can be funny as well. So this could clearly indicate what the first blank could be. Something probably opposite of funny. You don't have to write a dash poem. It can also be funny. So second blank is the opposite of funny. That's what we know. Let's read further. You need to write down 23 lines on the imposing nature of your x or the positiveness he or she used to have for you. It can express the way you are now, dash your parting. So again, we have a very big indicator here. It can express, again, we have the word expressive. So breakup poems can again express something. It can explicit the way you are. No dash, your parting. Parting is a state of being alone, right? So now you are alone, probably because you did not like your x, right? So it can express the way you are, no dash or parting with your ex, whom you will. In fact, not able to cope up with. This part is clearly telling us that we were not able to cope up with x. So as of now we have two dash the party. So this sounds to be very positive here, right? Because we are enjoying, or probably we are trying to enjoy the state of being alone. Okay, So very positive sentence. Having said that, let's simplify the sentence using all these words that we have. We can hit a very simplified version of the sentence this way. So what do we have here? First, we have something about breakup rooms. It's the way of dash one, very simple line. Then the author gives us an example. He says, Shakespeare's poems express the separation of levels. Right? Then we have a suggestion here. The auto gives us a solution. Brca poem, poems need not be dash can also be funny. And then it tells us how to write breakup points. You can take all little disliked about directs. The poem can express the way you are now, dash your parting with your x. So now we have very simple sentence. We have four simple sentences. It's very easy to figure out what the blank could be. We can predict their own answers now. So for the first blank, we have, we know breaker poems is away. It has to be a way of expressing one's hard because we have lots of keywords indicating how breakup points must be. We have the word you're expressing, and we have the word here, x plus, right? So it has to express something. Next we have breakup poems need not be dashed. They can be funny. You could say, you need, they need not be sad. They can even be funny. Society is the opposite of funny. Then how do we write a breakpoint? You can learn all that you disliked in your x. The poem can express the way you are now happy about your parting with your ex. So probably enjoying the state of being alone. So we're really happy about being alone. Now we have the three words ready? The sentence is very easy to understand. Option is expressing, option B is sad, and option three is happy. We're not going to eliminate anthro options. We're going to see which options are close to what we have. For the first one expressing there we have it, right? We clearly have the word expressing. Let's shortlist this immediately. This, this is the closest that we can get to option B, lightning, which would mean it would mean to reduce and relieving, which would mean again to lessen the amount. Never given anything about breaker poems, it's about lightning. One's harder. It's about relieving months out because it's a form of expressing something. Okay. So a is the correct answer. Let's move on to the second blank. We have the word side here. Let's see which one is close to side. Again, there you have it. Option D is sad, which is unhappy. So breakup poems need not be sad. They can also be funny. And the third, and you have option E is desolate, which means devastated. Option F, segment. We don't have any of those contexts. These really strong words. We need a very neutral word which would fit funny. Side would be the right answer here. And for the third blank, we have happy. Let's see which one is close to happy. Viewing would mean looking. Looking is nowhere close to happy or enjoying. We are celebrating. Again, celebrating would, would mean to Mark and even probably you need an event here. So this is also not close to what we want because as of now we are alone. We don't have an event going on, so we have to have that context. Now, enjoying would be the closest word here because you can injure the state of being alone, right? Probably you can relax by the beach or something like that. Basically you're enjoying being alone. So these are the three options we finally have. Your final answers are Option a expressing option D, sad, and option. I enjoy. 32. Example 14 - Create a Wonderful Website: Let's look at the fifth example. This does take more work and time, but unless you are willing to invest in good content, there's really no point in proceeding further. Make sure you do your dash. Even if you're only selling dark colors. As long as you give the pros and cons of each one, dash, people will appreciate it. The goal should be to make the contents such as, such that people who even dash visit your site once will bookmark it and keep coming back. So this is the whole sentence given to you. For the first blank, you have to fill in one correct answer option from option a Analysis, Option B, homework, and option C, research the 0 second blank. We'll have to fill in one correct answer option from option D separately. Option E, Honestly, an option F, specifically. This is your third blank in the sentence. And you have option G occasionally, option H, casually, an option I regularly. Let's see how to do this particular question. First, as usual, we would identify contexts, clues, and the direction was in the sentence. Let's see what do we have here? Yes, the first context clue is that it takes more work and time. When something takes more work and more time, probably the work is going to be a little tough. It's very clear that the work is going to be tough. Okay. Make sure you do your dash even if you're selling only dark colors, as long as you give the pros and cons of each one dash, people will appreciate it. That's gonna be the second clue earlier. So people are going to appreciate it. What kind of work should do so that people are going to appreciate it. That would be the second blank. The goal should be to make your content such that people who even dash visit your site once they will bookmark it and they'll keep coming back. So what kind of people are we going to target? We're going to target people even though they come to your website, even once they are going to bookmark it and they're going to keep coming back. So what kind of customers are those? That could be the third blank in the sentence. Having said that, let's simplify this sentence using what we have here. We can come up with a very simplified version of the sentence in this way. First, the author defines what is good work. He says could work takes more work and time. So do dash. So this blank has to be something related to taking more work and time. Then it gives us an example. He says, even if you're only selling something like dark colors, you must be dash, then only people are going to appreciate it. So what kind of works redo so that people are going to appreciate it. And the goal should be to make the work so impressive that even dash kinds of customers will bookmark it and keep coming back. So let's predict their own answer options. For the first blank, you could come up with something like this. Good work that takes more work and time. So we must do something very, something like careful study. Because this is something that indicates more working time. It will obviously take too much time. The next blank could you could come up with something like this. Even if you're only selling dog collars, he must be sincere, then only people are going to appreciate it. So since your work will always prevail, always be, you will always receive a lot of appreciation from people. So since it would be the second blank, Let's go to the third blank. Make sure that the work is so impressive that even people without intent will bookmark a site and keep coming back. That's the whole point of it. Because we're doing something that takes more work and time. When you have when you're doing something that's taking more work on time. Obviously, we're going to target people who come to our site without any intent, or probably like casual customers. So these kinds of people, if we're able to target or if they were able to convert them. That's probably a very great thing. That's probably a very good reason to probably do a lot of research on this, right? We have the three words here. Option a is careful study. Option B is sincere, and option C is without intent. Now let's eliminate answer options. Let's see what options don't fit the context. Firstly, looking for something close to careful study. Option a is analysis, which means just to examine. Here it may or may not be a careful study that's done. So you couldn't get rid of that option B homework assignment. Again, not close to what we have in mind because anyway, I remember doing my assignments or homework probably five or ten minutes before the teacher would come into my class. So we didn't have We didn't I didn't know I never took more work in time. I remember it more work in time. So probably homework cannot be the right answer. Next, let's move to research. Research would mean diligent study. This is close to what we have because generally, research takes a lot of time. Let's we have the word PhD, which means the Doctor of Philosophy. It's clearly taking more work and time. That's research. For the second blank, we would come up with something like Cynthia, let's look at Option D separately. Separately means individually. It's nowhere close to sincere. We can get rid of that option. E, honestly, truthfully, sincerely, honestly truthfully is very close choice. You can keep that on hold. And specifically would mean individually. So obviously, if you write something individually or specifically, nobody's going to appreciate it. But if you write something honestly, people are definitely going to appreciate it. So that would be the correct answer. Next, moving on to the third blank, we're looking for something which is without intent or without having any purpose. Option G occasionally now and then. So occasionally would would mean people having purposes now and then. So this is not close to what we want. Get rid of that casualty, which would mean having no purpose. These are the casual customers that we have to target. Option. It should be the right answer here. Again, option, which would mean regularly, which means constantly going nowhere close to what we have in mind. So our final answer options or Option C, research. Option E, Honestly, an option edge casually. These are the three options clearly fit the blank. 33. Example 15 - Specious Clairvoyants: Hello there, Welcome back. Let's look at the sixth example. People who seek advice from dash often find what they are told. You can seem true because the sequence of information attribute significance to some predictions and ignore the others. The mind seeks to make sense of predictions that in themselves have no dash value. And thus it's becoming difficult to prove that these forecasts are dash. We have the first blank in the sentence and our answer options. Option a. Option B, philosophers, and option C, clairvoyance. We are the second blank here. For that, we have three answer options. Option D, special, option E, general, an option if legal. And for the third blank, we have Option G genuine option SH spec is an option I accurate. Let's see how to do this particular question. First, we're going to identify the context clovers and the direction of words in the sentence. Contexts. Clues would mean words that describe that action. Words would mean words kill it clearly tell us how the sentence would be. Would it be in the same direction or in the opposite direction? So let's see what do we have here? The contexts clues are. First, what do we have? The sequence of information attribute significance to some predictions. So we have the first context clue as predictions, which clearly indicates that people who seek advice from these guys who basically predict, That's the first context clue. The mind seeks to make sense of those kinds of predictions that in themselves have no dash value. And thus, it's very clear indication that this is clearly going to show you a cause and effect pattern in the particular sentence. We have does here, which clearly tells us that this formal part of the sentence is the cause and this part is going to be the effect. Next, let's simplify the sentence using the context clues in the direction work. What do we have here now? Yes, we have simplified sentence into a very simple cause and effect pattern. So the cost here is that people who seek advice from dash, often given bottles to some predictions and ignore the others. The mind seems to make sense of those predictions that have no dash value. And because of that, we have the effect here. It's difficult to prove these forecasts are dash normally in the cause and effect pattern. When the cause is positive, effect must also be positive. And if the cause is negative, effect must also be negative, which is clearly indicating that the cause and effect are normally in the same directions. By identifying the cause of a filling up the blanks in the course, we could come to know what effect could be. Having said that, let's predict our own answer options. We could come up with the first blank. We could come up with something like people who seek advice from fortune tellers, right? So basically fortune tellers are people who predict, right? So people who seek advice from fortune tellers often give importance to some kinds of predictions and ignore the others. Their mind tries, tries to make sense of predictions that have no dash value. So the whole context is that the fortune tellers, they basically have nothing special in them because they basically give information, the same information to almost everyone. So people are blindly believing these fortune tellers. Therefore, the context is the mine site. Since mixed tries to make sense of predictions that have no unique value. There's nothing unique in what these fortune tellers providers, okay. It's all the same information they give. And because of this particular cause, because of this blind belief, look at the effect. The effect must be according to the course, because it is a blind belief flood of people going to fortune tellers and asking for predictions. And more and more people believing in these kinds of general advice. Therefore, it's difficult to prove that these forecasts are incorrect. It's becoming difficult to prove which is right and which one is wrong. So the third blank could be incorrect. Maybe probably, it's difficult to prove that these forecasts are wrong. We have the three blanks ready. Option a is fortune tellers, option B is unique, and option three is incorrect. Let's eliminate answer options that don't match the answer. For the first blank, we have fortune tellers. Let's see which one is close to a fortune teller. An expert is nowhere close to a fortune teller. We could get rid of that. Second one, you have loss of us. Again, which would mean thinkers nowhere close to fortune tellers that class wines here. These are the guys who basically predict the future. So profit, so glad wines are basically fortune tellers. The first blank is scalar clairvoyance. The blend tool we have unique. Unique would mean something that's very special or something that's very distinct. Distinct would be the correct answer. So the context is that the mind tries to make sense of something that doesn't have any distinct value. Probably it means when doesn't have any unique value. It means the value that it gives us basically generally, generally something that we're not looking for. We can get rid of that. And we don't have any legal terms coming here. We can get rid of that. For the third blank, we're looking for something close to incorrect, genuine, which means original. This is the opposite of incorrect. Let's get rid of that. Spikiness means something that's wrong or something that people blindly believe. So spec keys would mean something that is incorrect and accurate. So be obviously the opposite of what we're looking for. We have the final answers ready. Your answer options are options, see clairvoyants. Option D is special, and Option H spec is. 34. Example 16 - Stress Induced Amnesia: Hello there, Welcome back. Let's look at the seventh example. Stress induced amnesia is a wrap and dash phenomenon. It strikes the patient apparently without warning. And the memory loss can be asked dash as diet-induced by dash trauma. We have a blank in this particular sentence. And for the first blank, we have our answer options. Option a, devastating option B, and option C. For the second blank, we have the three options. Option D, generic, option E, limited, an option F Complete. And for the third blank, we have our answer options. Option G, unexpected. Option H, mental, an option I've physical. Let's see how to do this particular question. We can use the four-step action plan, which is identifies, simplify predicting eliminate. First, let's identify the context clue words and the direction was in the given sentence. What do we have here? We have stress induced amnesia being a rare. So this is a word that describes stress induced amnesia. This is the first contexts glue and dashed phenomenon. This is a direction which tells you that the blank is gonna be something close to the same word. It also strikes the patient. This is also another very big indicator of what stress induced amnesia would be. These two words would clearly indicate what the first blank could be. It strikes the patient apparently without wanting and the memory loss can be asked dash as diet-induced by dash trauma. Behind this, clearly, this is a comparative Symbol here. When you have something like As that, it's clearly a comparison that's happening. So the author is trying to compare two things in this particular sentence. He's trying to compare memory loss with something else. What is that? Something else? That's the blank in the third part. Now, let's simplify the sentence using what we have. Do we have here is we have first stress induced amnesia. It is a rare phenomenon that strikes the patient without warning. This is the first sentence. The second sentence or two similar consequences that would happen if one gets stressing user amnesia. The memory loss can be so dash. That means it can be so painful or can be so damaging that induced by dash trauma. So the author is trying to combine memory loss with something. Now having said that, let's predict our own answer options. We can come up with something like this. Stress induced dementia is a rat and damaging phenomenon because we have the word, it strikes the patient apparently without warning. That means probably it has to be a very damaging phenomenon. For the second blank, we could come up with something like this. The memory loss can be so full. Because when the memory loss is so full, that means is clearly close to damaging. It is so damaging that the memory loss is so full. That means a person loses complete memory. The memory loss can be so full as that induced by dash trauma. So the author, like we said, we saw previously, the author has tried to compound memory loss with something. That something could basically be bodily trauma. Because obviously there are two things in the human body. One is the memory, the other thing has to be body, physically and from the mind. So the person is going to be completely destroyed from the mind, as well as physically. This is what is basically stress induced amnesia. This is how it attacks people. The third blank is something close to body. Having said that, let's eliminate answer options. Option a, we're going to look at something close to damaging. So a is devastating. This is clearly close to diameter. Let's keep that on hold. Venial, by the way, is something that's tolerable and pervasive is something that's widely spread. This is nowhere close to what we have. We could get rid of this. Going into the next blank, we're looking for something close to full. January could means would mean general. Nowhere close to what we want. Get rid of that. E is limited, which means restricted, or the nova close to what we want. And F is complete. Complete means total, right? So f is close to fool, the person is completely destroyed. For the third plank, we're looking at something for bodily unexpected is unpredicted. Stoma close to what we want, we could get rid of that. Mental is again, the mind. So obviously already had the mind. The mind can be compared to the mind. So you can get up that physical is nothing but the body. Physically would be the character. So here, these are the correct answers. Your final answer options. Option, a devastating option. If complete. An option, I physically. 35. Example 17 - A Finally - Free Man: Although use finally dash, the use of dash Torah part is social circle, ruined his health and dashes mind. This is the first two blank. For the first blank, we have option a, incriminated option be vindicated, an option C, acclaimed. For the second blank we have this is a blank. Two for the second blank, we have option D. Dedication. Option is self-doubt, an option F, suspicion. And for the third blank, we have Option G sharpened, option edge deranged, an option I mellowed. Let's see how to do this particular question. First, we're going to identify the context clue is in the direction of words in the sentence. Because once, once you have these two words ready, these contexts, clues and direction was then becomes easy for us to do the particular question. Let's see what do we have here? Yes, it's very clear that although it's the direction word in the sentence, although clearly indicates that there will be contradictory information coming up. So although he was finally dash, so this part of the sentence, both of them should contradict each other. The use of dash tore apart. This is a negative word. This is a context clue. It tore apart. It ruined again, this is a negative word, and this is again a positive direction. This particular part must be something close to negative. So all the US finally dash, the use of Bash door about is social circle ruined his health. And dashes mind. This is what is the sentence? It looks to be like a very simple sentence. Let's simplify the sentence. Let's see what do we have here? Simplified version of sentence would be here, so we have a person here. And all the US. Finally dash, the use of dash tore apart is social circle ruined his health and dashes mind. Now it's very clear what the blanks could be. Let's predict their own answer option. So what do we have here? Although he was finally proven, right? So this part of, since we have a lot of negative words in this particular sentence here, we have something like tore apart. We have ruined. All of these are basically negative words, which means the whole connotation here itself is negative. That is clearly indicating that this part has to be positive because of the word, although even though he was proven, right, that's the first blank here. The use of bad things. Obviously, we've done a lot of bad things, right? Even though he was proven right. Finally, years of bad things doing bad things. It told about is social circle. That means socially he was completely damaged. It ruined his health. From a sales point of view, it's completely gone. And you can say something like damaged his mind. So this is also a clear negative context because they are now there are three negative contexts here. Dorsal part, social circle, ruined health and damaged his mind. We have the three blanks ready here. Now we're going to eliminate. Now it's very easy to eliminate answer options. Let's see which one is close to proven, right? Incriminated increments means to blame. This is nowhere close to proven, right? Let's get rid of that. Vindicated means to clear the blame or to be, to be finally proven, right? This is close to what we have. We can keep this on hold. An acclaimed is something that is praised. Now we don't have the context of this person being praised or something like that. He's just finally set free basically, right? He's not being praised or something like that. This is a very positive words so we can get rid of that, right? So I'm getting rid of that. So the correct answer for this particular black would be option B. Let's look at the second blank. We're looking for something like bad things. No, dedication would mean enthusiasm, which is very positive. We can get rid of that. Self-doubt is again, doubting from the self, which means no confident. But we don't have the context of self-doubt here because we have in the context of social circle. Okay? The use of dash here, the ears are suspicion. So the use of feeling guilt, after all these years of feeling guilt, it has damaged them completely. Suspicion would be the right answer because from the context of social, I know we're looking for something close to damage, option G sharp and means to improve. This is very highly positive word. We can get it up that derange means unable to think clearly. This is the closest to what we have. It deranged is mine, which means it's damaged the spine. And mellowed mean to make better. This is again, a very strong positive or get rid of that. We have the three options ready here. The three options or Option be vindicated. Option as suspicion and Option H, deranged. 36. Example 18 - Creative Reasoning vs Classical Physics: Be denied without creative reasoning, that it would not have been possible to dash classical physics. Yet, classical physics has no contribution to make to the understanding of dash. This dash is surprisingly common in logic. And like. For the first blank, this is your first blank. For the first blank, we have answer options. Option a, dispute the value. Option B, lay the foundations. Option C, understand the basics. The second blank, what do we have? Option D, creative reasoning. Option E, other sciences, and option F, the arts. And this is the third blank in the sentence. For the options are Option G, circular reasoning. Option H in flexibility and options I is symmetry. Let's see, horrible this particular question. First, we're going to, as usually we're going to identify the context clue was in the direction was in the sentence. The two biggest contexts keywords here are the subjects of 3D reasoning and classical physics. The whole context itself is revolving around these two subjects. It clearly describes the subjects in detail, and it clearly combines these two subjects. Subjects are creative reasoning in classical physics. Now we have the direction worry yet here, which clearly indicates that this part of the sentence will contradict this part of the sentence. That is called basically going to be the direction where it tells us what, how the sentences are going to be related to each of them. We have creative reasoning and classical physics. With creative reasoning, it's possible to get dash. Yet, classical physics cannot help us understand dash. So we just make a simple explanation here. With creative reasoning, let's call it as a creative reasoning. It is possible to get B from creative reasoning. You can get classical physics. Now we have this contradictory word yet here, which means it's going to be something opposite. Yet from classical physics. You can't get what? I'm classical physics, you can't get worse. This is a clear indication of what the blank could be. This kind of dash is common in logic as well as life. So that's kind of what, this kind of, what do we have here? This kind of paradox you can say, okay, because from a you can it be, but from B you can't get to a word. Okay, So we can clearly understand what the sentence could be. Well, let's predict the wrong answer. No, it's very clear. The answers are very clear. With creative reasoning, you can get fundamental knowledge of classical physics, which means that's the backbone from creative reasoning. You can get all of classical physics, okay? You can get basically everything of classical physics. Yet. From classical physics, it can't help you understand anything about creative reasoning. From classical physics, you can get nothing from creative reasoning, right? So a contributes fully to B, but B contributes nothing to eat, right? Look at it. This is a really good paradox. A contributes everything to be, B contributes nothing to a. That's the work of the word yet. Okay, Clearly it's very clear, sharp, contradictory idea. Now this kind of dash, you can see this, this similarity. So obviously it's a dissimilarity because you have one thing giving complete control to the other thing, but the other thing having 0 control to the previous thing. We have a three blanks ready? Option a is fundamental knowledge. Option B is creative reasoning, and option three would be dissimilarity. Let's prepare options that don't match the context. Option a dispute the value would mean to disagree. This is nowhere close to having fundamental knowledge. Let's get rid of that. Lay the foundations is very close to having core knowledge. So basically it's all a contributes everything to be. D would be the right answer, which is core knowledge. Understand the basic would mean having only basic knowledge. Let's go to the second blank. Let's see which one is close to creative reasoning. Here, CVL option D, which is really close to creative thinking. So D would be the right answer, which is close to creative reasoning. Option E can be related, which is other areas of study we're getting, we're comparing. Anything else, we just comparing creative reasoning with classical physics. Option F is the arts, again, nowhere close to what we want. Let's get rid of that. Moving on to the third blank, we have something known as dissimilarity. So circular reasoning would mean circular logic does add something, some logic in it. So this is not what we're looking for. It is inflexibility. Inflexibility means unwilling to change. We don't have the context of, context of being flexible or not. We have something close to asymmetry, which means no equality. This is the closest answer. And this clearly indicates this kind of a similarity by one object contributes fully to the other object. But this object has nothing to contribute to the first object. So this is clearly something that's not never seen in life. This is something that is common in logic as well as life. This kind of dissimilarities, common. Incorrect answer options or option B laid the foundations. Option D, creative reasoning and option I, asymmetry. 37. Example 19 - Days Of Iconoclasm: During the decade of social scientists saw two dash the idea of the family as a healthy and stabilizing force and replace it with a view that the family was the dash. The first blank here would be you'd have to fill in the correct answer options from option a, moderation, option B, conservatism, and option C, iconoclasm. For the second blank, you have option D, promote, option E, debunk, and option if I agonized. And for the third blank, you have Option G, model, option H, progressive option I. Let's see how to do this particular question. First, we could identify the context clue words, and the direction was in the sentence. What do we have here? We have the first contexts clue as the family being described as a very healthy and destabilizing force. This is very clearly a positive context. It's a very healthy and stabilizing force. Now, these people want to replace it with something dash so it has to be something negative. So this is clearly indicating that the blank three would be clearly the opposite of the context because they are trying to replace something. So we have to identify the direction. What are the contexts keywords? Now let's simplify the sentence using these. We can come up with a very simplified version this way. So here we have the concept of family. The family is described as very healthy and very stabilizing force that is being replaced with something that is clearly dash. Social scientists sought to dash this idea. And such a dequeue does one of dash. This is probably by definition of what this kind of decade was. Let's predict their own answer options. We could come up with something like this. The family, the family as being defined as very healthy and stabilizing force is being replaced with a view that the family was basically dying. So something positive is getting replaced by something negative. Something really positive is getting replaced by something really negative. So this is getting replaced with a view to the family was literally die, dying, right? And who tried to do this? Basically, the social scientists sought to dash this particular idea. They wanted to throw this particular idea. They won't want to throw the idea that the families are very good thing and replace it with a view that the family was dying. Now this is a very, very untraditional thing to do. We're trying to go and promote that assembly is something that is negative and replace that with something that is positive, right? So that's a very concretely thing to do. And this kind of a decade was definitely one of breaking beliefs. Right? So we have the third blank here is breaking beliefs. What is the belief that is broken? The belief that is broken is that family is no longer healthy and stabilizing. This belief is broken and it's replaced with something very bad, very negative. So we have the three blanks ready. We have option a is breaking beliefs. Option B has to throw out, and we have option C as dying. So let's see what do we have here? Let's eliminate answer option that don't match the context. Blank one is breaking beliefs. Let's see which one is close to breaking beliefs. Moderation is self-control. Nova close to breaking belief? Conservatism would mean traditional, which means really basically conserving things. This is nowhere close to what we want. Now, iconoclasm is going in and in a very unorthodox way in choosing a way that's really against the society. So C would be the correct answer. Now for the second blank, we have something close to throwing away. Promoting is a very positive word, gets, Let's get rid of that. Debunk is to disprove. This is close to throwing away an iconic. Iconic means to have godly status. We don't have this particular answer option here. Let's get rid of that. Now the tank replace the view that a family is very healthy and stabilizing force. They tend to replace that with the view that the family was dying. Let's see which often is close to dying. Monument made and stay. This is clear clearly the correct answer. Let's keep that. Progressives sounds to be very positive. All the zones to be very positive. Both these words can be eliminated. This is the correct answer. Option a would be, it would be iconoclasm. The second option would be debunk, and the third option would be moribund. 38. Conclusion Final Upload: Thank you and congratulations.
