1. Welcome to the course: Right now, there has never been a better time to actually
turn what you genuinely love into an online course
that reaches and educates tens of thousands of people across
the whole world. You see, with the
power of modern AI tools and the Internet, you do not need a
massive audience. You don't need an
expensive setup or even a completely
original idea. Already possess the
knowledge, the skills, and the experiences that other people are actively
looking to learn. What you're lacking is the
right system to turn what you know into something people can learn from and pay for. And that's exactly
what I'm going to be handing out to you in
this class right here. So I would like to
welcome you to the step by step course
creation walk through. In the next hour, I'm going
to be revealing to you the complete course creation
framework that I have been following for the past
five years broken into the only three
pillars that matter producing the course hosting the course and
marketing the course. And, trust me, with the
power of modern AI, your mind will be
completely blown on how easy it is to actually create launch and
scale your own course. So if you don't know
me, I'm Lambros. Three years ago, I
walked away from being a doctor to build my own
creative business from scratch. Ever since I've produced
more than 50 courses, enrolled more than 80,000 students across the whole world, and generated tens of
millions of views with my content using the
exact system that I'm about to hand out to you
in this class right here. So, if you want
your course live, hosted an enrolling student who found you're on their own,
you're in the right place. Inside of this class right here, you will build with me
from start to finish. Together, in a step
by step process, I'm going to show you
how to pick a topic that people are actively
searching for using the three most potent
current research tools and the so called EGI framework. Then I'm going to show you
how to leverage AI to map out your whole curriculum in
literal minutes and how to produce the whole course
with nothing more than a simple screen-recording
software and any camera you have
laying around in your house. Phones are also allowed.
Then we're going to be talking about where
you should host this course and what's
the best solution for every single type
of creator out there. And finally, we'll build an evergreen content
system that automatically drives traffic to
your course and enables it to enroll as
many students as possible. You see, what used to take
little years of guesswork now just takes a few focused
weeks with modern AI tools. And that's because
you're not going to be assembling the pieces
of the puzzle yourself. We're going to be
outsourcing all of the repetitive
robotic tasks to AI. The only parts left
are the ones that require genuine
human creativity. So join me in this
1 hour step by step class on how to create launch and scale
your first course. I'm super excited
to have you here. I'm going to see you
in the first lesson.
2. Your Class Project: So, welcome to the course. I am very, very excited that you decided to
enroll in this class. And trust me, in the next hour, we're going to be breaking down every single step of the
course creation process, and you're going to be living
with a completely new set of information that
you will be able to leverage in your course
creation process. Now, in this first
short video right here, I'm going to be elaborating
on the class project you're called to complete by the end of this
class right here. Now, again, in the next hour, I will be delivering all of
the information that you need to create launch and
scale your first course. Class project that I want you to submit in the class project
description, again, the course right here is the outline of your
course's curriculum. In the second lesson
of this class, we're going to be talking about actually producing your course. And the first step of producing your course
is to actually map out the curriculum
of your whole class. And that's exactly what
I want you to copy and paste in the class project description of
the scores right here. So a successful class
project involves you copying and pasting your entire course curriculum
for other students, as well as me to see
and be inspired from. Also note that I'm
going to be personally reviewing every single one of the curriculums
that you guys submit, every single one of the class projects
that you guys submit. So this is an awesome
way to connect with me, also, as your instructor. So I'm super excited
to have you here. Let's dive into the
step by step guide.
3. Researching & Validating Your Course Topic: Speed here, I'm
going to show you the most complete way to create, launch and scale of course as an absolute, complete beginner. I assume that you are an absolute, complete
beginner with, again, zero content experience and zero online
business experience. I'm going to be breaking down the whole framework again
in the next minutes. And I hope it's minutes and
not hours. And guess what? With modern AI tools, this whole framework
has gotten really, really pretty much all of the robotic repetitive tasks you don't need to stress about, and you only need to
tackle the genuine, again, parts of this framework that
require human creativity, which is, again, why you're doing this
in the first place. Now, creating a course is just a matter of
producing a course, hosting the course, and then marketing and
scaling the course. And those are the three
pillars that we're going to be elaborating on in
this video right here. It's just a matter of, again, producing the content,
hosting the content, and then deploying the content
and marketing the content, so the whole world knows
about your course. And I've done this again
more than 50 times. So, trust me, I have optimized these three pillars
to a great extent. So let's now talk
about producing. Let's start with producing. So to start off with, all of the information is free, and it's online, right? And people can literally
learn almost everything without buying your course
and without buying a course. So this raised the question, how come the learning
space again, grows almost
exponentially every year? And there might be some spelling mistakes in
this presentation right here. I haven't used AI to
draft the slides. I've actually went
head in hand written every single talking point
of this presentation, so excuse any spelling mistakes. But how come the learning space
again grows exponentially every single year when all of the information is
free and it's online? Right? People can ask
GPT people can go on YouTube to search for
information needed, right? Well, people with a problem
seek to be informed, but they seek to be informed to aid their
transformation, right? From point A to point B. And what courses pretty much
do is that they pack all of the information
that is needed to aid transformation, right? And people with a pain will actually go ahead and pay
to be transformed, right? You know, relying that
point A is a point of pain, and point B is the point of transformation that
relieve this pain, right? Let's just put things
into perspective. Let's give an example of
video editing, right? There are literally countless of videos on YouTube on
how to edit, right? Final Cut Pro versus Adobe
Premiere Pro, for example, to video editing software, how to color grade, how to add viral, how to sound design. You can find all of these
things on YouTube for free. But funny enough,
video editing courses tend to sell better than
most topics out there, regardless of the fact that
all of the information is currently free and
online on YouTube. Why does that happen?
This happens because these courses promise
a clear outcome. You will become a video editor. This is why these
courses tend to sell. And I hope that I'm
not exaggerating here. It's just that you
need to understand and we need to set
correct foundation before we start
understanding how to produce the course
itself, right? So, people are happy to
pay to be transformed, regardless of the fact that
the information that they might be seeking is free
and online currently. They want to be taken
by the hand and guided through all of this information by someone like you
or someone like me. And this is why
courses sell steel, regardless of the
fact that all of the information is
free and online, which is absolutely great for you because you can
go ahead and learn all this information
that's free and online and then pack
it into a course and sell this transformation
to people who are hungry to be transformed, right? So now that we have
this out of the way, let's actually go ahead and talk about productions, right? And the first subcategory
of producing your course is actually going ahead and researching
your course topic. Because imagine you produce
a course around topic that no one is interested
in buying. Then guess what? Your course won't see, right? So it's super important to perform some basic
topic research. And let me tell you a small
thing about my backstory. I'm very bad at math. I'm very bad at statistics. I'm very bad at researching. But those are three
research tools that I'm going to show you that just
get the job done, right? So in the next 3
minutes, I'll show you three bulletproof ways to choose a course topic that
sells like warm bread. You do not need to be
technical to understand this. So one more note
before we do this, and I hope that I'm not
deviating that much. Yes, we can optimize
to create a course around a topic that
sells amazingly. But at the end of the
day, what you want to be doing is that you want to be targeting this space right here, which is the so called Icky guy. Now the EGI, Long story resort, you can understand
this from this shape, it's a combination of
what you love, right, what you're really good at, what you can actually be paid for and what the world
currently needs. If we only base our course
around research results, we will create this
what the world needs. But chances are that it's
probably not what you love and probably not
what you're good at and probably not what
you're going to be paid for. So Go ahead and actually
brainstorm your own Idi guy. And this pink circle right
here is what we're going to be aided with
these three tools and I'm going to be
elaborating in just a second. But at the end of the
day, if you manage to start creating courses
around your Iki Guy, it is almost guaranteed
that you will find success. It is not that hard at
the end of the day. Trust me. So Research
tool number one after you have a just basic idea of what you love and
what you're good at, and what you can be
paid for, time to actually understand
what the world needs. And we can do this with
research tool number one. Now, research tool
number one is one of the most potent ways to
research cos topics, and it is actually the
search engine inside of one of the most popular online course
marketplaces out there. And we're going to be
talking about online course marketplaces in just a second. This is Utomi. So you
can go inside of Udemy. Udemy is imagine a hub with
millions of courses and tens of millions of
students that are hungry to purchase courses every
single day, right? And you can actually go ahead and check out what
they're searching for. So, for example, in
this search bar, inside of Udemy, and
I'm not going to take you by hand and show you
how to access Udemy. It's pretty explanatory here. You can search for
the course topic, which is video editing, and you can actually
go ahead and visualize the search results. You can see the keywords that
people are searching for. I know if you can see it
in the screen-recording. You can check out
the keywords that people are searching
for other topics of interest that you can get
a basic understanding on how many people are
searching for this topic per month or per day
or per year, right? So use Udemy as your
first research tool. This really works because you don't need to
invent the wheel here. All these platforms have, again, tens of millions of people
who purchase courses, you know, weekly, monthly,
and all the stats, but they have gained all
of this information, and they release
this information for course graders like you
and I to leverage, right? The second tool is the in demand class topics
inside of Skillshare. Now, Skillshare is another
online course marketplaces. You know, it's one of these
platforms that provides courses in bulk for
students to consume. And they have also gained
a huge amount of data regarding what students
like to consume and what students
are searching for. So go ahead and type
on your search engine, right, in demand
Skillshare class topics. And you will see a list with
the most in demand course topics worldwide right now,
right, which is awesome. So again, you leverage Udemy to search for
your course topic. You leverage Skillshare
to search, again, to perform research
for your course topic, and then this is by the way, how the in demand topics
looks like from the inside, depending on when you're
watching this video, they might have
changed because they change every one or
two months, right? And the third research tool is YouTube and Cloud or any AI. Go on YouTube, right, and search for your course topic that
you're thinking of producing, how to edit videos,
how to talk on camera, how to become a content creator, or whatever you're thinking,
again, of instructing. Use YouTube, ask GPT, and a combination of all of
these three research tools, again, Udemy,
Skillshare, YouTube, and any AI out there. I use Cloud, but you
can use Cloud, GPT, Gemini, whatever works, right? And again, you don't
need to perfect this Dan is really better
than perfect, right? Just have a rough
understanding of how many people
are searching for your course topic currently. And with these three
research tools, you can definitely
get there, right? So, at this point, what I want you to have is just a rough course
idea in your mind. For example, becoming
a video editor in Final Cat Pro and final CAP is just a video
editing software. So just a rough understanding of your course idea. So
what's the next step
4. Shooting & Editing Your Course: Next step after having, again, a rough understanding
of a course idea that people might actually
be searching for, is to go ahead and outline the
curriculum of your course. Now, curriculum is just a word that we use in the
online course space. It's pretty much how your
lessons are structured, right? And for any course outline, I've done this again multiple
times for my courses, courses for people
that I've worked with, use the ten to 15 rule, and pretty much this means that a solid course consists of ten to 15 lessons that are ten to 15 minutes
long each, right? And guess what? A
subject out there can be condensed or stretched to
literally any length, right? You can teach
something in 1 minute. You can teach something
in 10 minutes. You can teach
something in 2 hours. You can teach
something in 10 hours. And one of the most
common questions that I get is how long
should my course be? And the answer is
about 2 hours, right? A two hour course as your
first course is enough, right? So a two hour course is
a good place to start, and we can always expand, right, by adding more
lessons in the future. So leverage the ten to 15 rule. I want you to create
ten to 15 lessons that are ten to 15
minutes long each. So this right here is
the anatomy of a course. And what a course
really pretty much is, it's just a series of lessons, a series of videos, right? So the curriculum
of your course, which is the whole
course, involves modules. And what modules are are pretty much your videos
categorized, right? So each module contains lessons, right, and each
lesson is a video. So, for example,
Module one could be lesson one to lesson four. Module two could be lesson
five to lesson eight, and Module three
could be lesson, let's say, nine to
less than 15, right? So modules are just
categories of lessons, categories of videos,
lessons are videos, right? And resources are any
downloadable resources that you will also provide to your students alongside
your lessons. These could be PDFs. These could be templates.
These could be checklists. This could be, again,
the presentations of your lessons themselves. So I don't know if I'm
going too fast here. I hope this makes
sense. It's pretty straightforward on
Mila's point, right? So what I like to do
is that I always use AI to draft the first outline of the course up
until this point, we have a course
idea in mind, right? We have a course style in mind. So now it's actually time to go ahead and start mapping
out the different lessons, mapping out the modules, right, of the course. So
what I like to do. Again, I'm not an AI wizard. I use AI just like you use AI, I ask them questions
and stuff, right? So you can open GBT. And what I like to do is that I
like to open ChatGPT. You don't need the paid
version even, right? And just select voice dictation, this button right here. And once you select
voice dictation, just start talking about
your course for 5 minutes. In 5 minutes. Anything
that comes in mind, right? Mention your target avatar, your topic, the length
that you're aiming for. And again, just yap for 5
minutes. Just start talk. Right? And the more details you give here, the more you speak, the better because this AI, it's just amazing understanding what you're talking about, even if you're a bit
autistic like me, right? And it just gets it. So at this point, we just
want to be inputting information to ChatGPT, right? And this works with
literally any AI out there, and the result will be a
structured course outline. The more information you given, the more directed you are, the more direct you
are, the better the outcome will be
that AI gives you. And then we're not done yet. We're not here to produce
AI courses, right? I want you to take a
piece of paper out. Yes, I'm talking about the
ancient art of paper and pen and just write the exact
outline that GPD gave you down. And as you're writing
the outline down, you will see that some lessons won't sound so good and you
might want to remove them. So remove the lessons that AI suggested that
you think should be removed and use I know your native intelligence to make any corrections
here, right? So remember, we use AI
in course creation. We use AI with course
production, right? But we use it to remove the boring, robotic,
repetitive work. And brainstorming your
course curriculum isn't robotic and
isn't repetitive. It requires genuine
human creativity, which is also cool, by the way, because you want to
produce a course, right? You might as well use your native intelligence
to do this. Alongside with AI. So take a piece of paper down and a pen or a pencil if you're old school and
just start mapping out the curriculum, right? Yes, use AI for suggestions, but map out your whole
curriculum by yourself. So at this point, you should have a list
with all of the modules, right, and the lesson titles. And what a module is pretty
much a category of lessons, right, and the lesson titles. So now it's actually time to go ahead and talk about
producing the lessons, which again, it's going to be the most time
consuming part. But if you're
interested in actually becoming a course
grader and an educator, and, you know, it's going
to be the coolest part, too, because guess what? You get to talk
about what you love, which is the subject
of your course. I absolutely love
producing, right? So I think that
you're gonna love it, too. Let's talk about producing. So it's not that hard to
produce a course lesson, right? A course lesson, it's pretty
much like 90% of cases, just a screen-recording of a PowerPoint
presentation, right? And that's it with you
also talking to a camera. Just like the speed right
here. The speed Right here could easily
be a course lesson. You can see that I'm
screen-recording a presentation and
I'm talking to you. There's no fancy editing, but you're still
here watching after, let's say, 15 minutes because you're gaining
educational value. Now, this approach right here, I've been using for,
like, years now, and it helps you produce the lessons in bulk without
turning to AI slop, without producing
AI courses, right? And without needing a script. And that's the most
important bullet point here. We will not be scripting
every single word of our lessons because this way the whole thing
turns to AI slop. When mastered, this
approach right here works absolutely perfectly, and it will work
wonders for you to bulk create a two course
super fastly, super easily and
super creatively. So in order to
produce the course, you need to have RPoint
presentations done, right? The presentations
of your lesson. And each lesson will have one presentation that you
will screen-recording. So first, it's time to create the slides of your presentation. And to create the slides of each and every single
one of your lessons, I personally use Canva, right? So Canva is just a
free online tool that you can use to
create presentations, but any presentation
software will get the job done,
PowerPoint included. And what I want you to do is
that I want you to create 110 to 15 slide presentation for each lesson of
the course, right? Hey, listen, if you
want to have, like, tens of thousands of students and tens of thousands
of dollars generated, right, you need to put
the work in, right? So create one, again, ten to 15 slide presentation
for each lesson of the course that we have
outlined on our piece of paper. And please, please, please keep AI generated text at a minimum level inside
of your presentations. You see this
presentation right here probably has some
spelling mistakes. I'm not perfect
here, but I didn't use AI to create it, right? So this right here is the
anatomy of a presentation. This is the layout of the slides that you should be
following, right? And this is how, again,
you should position your 15 slides inside
of every single lesson. So first comes the
introductory part. And the introductory part is anywhere from one
slide to two slides. So the first two slides of
your presentation should be introductory slides in which
you're just going to be outlining what you will be
doing in this lesson, right? Super straightforward. Come on. You're probably given one
of these presentations at your school or
something, right? So one to two slides, you just introduce people
to the lesson. The lesson. And then we have the main part, which is anywhere 2-13 slides. And in the main part, you
provide educational value. You talk about the talking
points of each lesson, right? Finally, after the main part, after you've delivered all of the educational value
in the main part, you need to conclude somewhere, and we conclude in slide 14. And the conclusion,
like slide 14, is just going to be a
recap of the lesson. You're going to be talking
about exactly all of the talking points that you
elaborated on in the lesson. And finally, on the last slide, we're just going to be
transitioning to the next lesson. Now, this slide layout right
here is super important because it ensures a smooth transition
between lessons, right? A smooth transition between lesson one and lesson two,
lesson two and lesson three. And this will increase the average watch
time of your course, which is heavily
rewarded in, again, online course
marketplaces out there, which we're going to be talking about in just a second here. So up until this point, again, you've drafted
your course outline. You have your paper with all
of the different lessons. You know exactly what again, to include inside
of each lesson, which is, again, a p
point presentation of 15 slides, right? So now it's actually time to go ahead and shoot the lesson. So again, what you
need to do here is you need a
screen-recording software. You need a
screen-recording software to record you going
through the slides, to record you again,
delivering educational value through those presentations
and a camera. Now, you don't need
to show your face. All right, I'm going to show you an example in just a second. You don't need to show your
face, but it's good to also add a personal brand and, you know, your face on the
videos. It's good to do that. So I use a pro camera
I am a camera geek. I love cameras. I love lenses. You have a studio here with, like, microphones
and everything. But you don't need a pro camera. You can do it with your phone or even a simple desktop camera
will get the job done. Trust me, right?
So I want you to record yourself going
through the slides. This means that you
start a screen-recording as you start a video recording of you and then just
go through the slides. And this doesn't need
to be perfect, right? As we will be editing these
lessons in just a second. So here's a small demand belief that you might have
up until this point. I think, Wow, okay, my production quality
really sucks. I'm not a content
creator. I'm giving up. No, check this
course out, alright? So this course has 6.5
thousand students, right? It's an AI for
business analysts. Let's say, it's actually
super niche, right? 1.1 thousand ratings,
a 4.5 star rating, which is extremely high
and 6.5 thousand students. And this is how the course
looks like on the inside. It's just screen-recording. This guy enrolled 6.5 thousand
students without even having a camera with just
simple basic screen-recording. And this happens due to the fact People who consume courses
are here to be transformed. They do not care
about your setup. They do not care about how
beautiful the video looks. They just want the
information, right, that will aid their
transformation. That's it. So at this point, you should have again, an outline course and three
files for each lesson. One presentation PDF, which
is going to be, again, the PDF that you're going to be downloading of
your presentation, one screen-recording
of you going through the slides and one recording
of you actually instructing. Super simple. I mean,
even if you're not, like, a pro developer or a
pro content creator, I think that you can follow
up until this point, it is really
straightforward, right? So now we need to stitch
these files together, which involves editing.
Yes, I said the word. We need to edit the course. Now, editing is usually, again, the first thing that
content creators outsource, and again, it tends to be the most time consuming part
of the whole process. But for a course produced, the way that I
showed you, editing a lesson literally shouldn't
take more than 5 minutes. It's 5 minutes per lesson. Trust me, even if you're
a complete beginner, it is super easy to edit
a course lesson, right? I want you to just download
a free video editing app. You can use CapcAT. You can use even Canva. I think Canva has actually some video editing
capabilities inside of it, and you simply sync the audio of your screen-recording with
the audio of your again, camera recording, and that's it. Then you add your video
on a small box, right, the video of yourself
on a small box on the top left
part of the screen. Exactly what you're seeing
in this video right here, you can see me on the top
left part of the screen, and boom, that's pretty much it. Your lesson is produced. It won't take you more
than 5 minutes, trust me, and you do not need to
outsource video editing, right? A video editor would
charge you like 50 bucks or 100 bucks for this. You can do it in just
5 minutes, right? So I just saved you. 50 bucks. So Again, you can get really
creative with video editing. I love video editing because
it's one of my passions. And again, it's a great hobby, but you don't need to
become a pro video editor to edit online course
presentations, right? Trust me, in the
core space, again, you don't need to produce
beautiful videos, right? Your videos simply must convey educational
value. That's it. If you achieve this and
you don't need again, fancy editing, do
this, job done, right? So that being said, there is one trick that I
can actually suggest to you that will improve your
production quality, your video production
quality by ten x, at least, in 3 seconds. And once I understood
this, again, not only my video
production quality went up by, I don't
know how much. I'm not good at math, right? But I actually saw more enrollment in my
courses this way. And this is by simply improving your sound with
Adobe podcast AI. Now, Adobe podcast AI is
just a very basic free to use AI software
in which you just drag and drop the
audio of your video, and it uses AI to make it sound like you're in
a studio environment, even if you don't have
this $700 microphone that I have with a
simple goofy microphone, you can make it sound like you're in a studio
recording this. Modern AI, I know, it's
crazy, but it works. It works wonders. So I suggest you to actually
leverage this tool. This is a great tool, right? And just like that, you have
your course produced, right? You have actually a list of ten to 15 lessons that are ten to 15 minutes
long each, right? And now that you have
all these lessons, and if you're a
great instructor, these deliver educational
value, right? It is actually time to
host the course somewhere. So before we start making
tens of thousands of dollars, I guess, with our courses, we need to find a way
to host the course in order to deliver it to
all of these students. So let's talk about hosting.
5. Hosting & Launching Your Course: Right? Now, bear with me here. There are two ways that
a course is hosted. I've done both.
Both work wonders. Both are amazing, but it really comes down to who you are and
what you want to achieve. You can either host a course in online course marketplaces or leverage online course
hosting platforms. It's really important for you to understand the
differences between online course marketplaces and online course hosting platforms, and that's what we're
talking about right now. So let's talk about online
course marketplaces. OnCourse marketplaces
have a clientele of literally millions
of students that browse these marketplaces and purchase courses inside of
these marketplaces daily. And some examples
of marketplaces are Utomi, Skillshare, and Corsera. Those are the three biggest
online course marketplaces. And currently, uremi has
been acquired by Corsera. So it's just uremi and
Corsera and Skillshare. So I want you to think of
online course marketplaces as supermarkets, because at the end of the day,
it's the exact same thing. Those are big, again, companies that host
products inside of them. So inside of supermarkets, customers show up daily, right? When they're hungry, they
enter a supermarket, and they are ready to buy. When people enter Umi when
they enter Skillshare, they are ready to
consume courses. They're ready to buy courses and a good product a
good course will be promoted and displayed more by the supermarket based
on how well it sells. So great content, great courses that delivers
genuine educational value and engages people will be sold more and promoted by the
supermarket itself, right? And on top of that,
the producer does not need to market the product give your
product to supermarket, the supermarket displays it. It gets a small cut from, you know, the
profit or whatever. But then again, you don't
need to do the marketing. You just need to produce
the product itself, right? So again, the problem, though, of these marketplaces, the problem of supermarkets, is that you can charge whatever
you want for your course. You can give some
rough, you know, outline an estimate of how
much you want to be selling your course in
these marketplaces in the supermarkets,
but that's it. You can't collect all of
the details clients, right? Like the email, the
name of the clients, the supermarket keeps these. You don't know the
name and the emails of people who purchase your courses through online
course marketplaces, and you're directly tied to
the supermarkets policy, to the algorithmic changes
of these marketplaces. That being said, again, it's a great way
to start gaining enrollment without doing
the marketing, right? So who should host courses in
online course marketplaces? If you don't have any followers or you don't have any audience, this is an amazing
opportunity for you. This is where I started from, and I still upload courses in online course marketplaces
up again to this day. It works wonders, right? So, also, if you want to test your course
educational value, if you're not sure if the
course is good or not, you can actually, again, list it in an online
course marketplace and see the reviews and the
results that your students are bringing you absolutely hate marketing and
only want to teach, right, this is a
great option for you. Or if you're planning to produce multiple courses
and you love producing, again, and producing and
producing and producing, right? But hate marketing.
This is good. Or if you don't care about only selling
high ticket courses, if you don't have a
problem creating a course, it will take you like seven
days to create a course, and then this course
sells for ten, $20. If this doesn't turn you
off, this is good, right? Or if you don't want to spend a single dollar before you earn, online course, marketplaces are just a great way to start. If this describes you, go ahead and upload your courses in
online course marketplaces. You will be rewarded. It's
an amazing opportunity. It was a better opportunity
five years ago, ten years ago, but the best
time to start is now, right? So again, how do you upload a course on an
online course marketplace? Well, guess what? It's
super simple, right? You just sign up, create an
account, upload the course. That's it. And you
should start with Udemy. Udemy is the easiest online course marketplace
to start with, and then you can expand
on Skillshare and other potential online course
marketplaces out there. And, guess what? Inside of these marketplaces, you will be gradually right? Start getting followers because it's like a YouTube
profile, let's say. It's like a YouTube account
in these marketplaces. People consume your
courses, people consume your videos, right? And then they also
get to follow you. So it's an awesome way to also start building your, again, brand inside of
these marketplaces, which is a small add on there. So, now that we talked about online course
marketplaces like Utomi, Skillshare, Coursera, what are the pros and the
cons of these marketplaces, let's actually go ahead
and talk about hosting a course in online course
hosting platforms. And there's a
difference, of course, between a marketplace and an online course
hosting platform. So who should host his course in an online
course hosting platform? If this describes
you, good, right? If you have followers
or audience, and you wish to
leverage these and monetize your followers
or your audience, online course hosting
platforms is the way to go. If you want to
market your course yourself and you're not a complete beginner
around marketing, online course hosting
platforms is the way to go. You don't need to be a
marketing wizard to do this. I have, again, hosted
multiple courses in online course
hosting platforms, sold tens of thousands
of dollars, again, of courses in online
course hosting platforms, and I'm bad at marketing, right? Or if you're selling
a high ticket worse, if your course is
priced anywhere $500-5 thousand this is a
good option for you. Or if you want higher
engagement with your students, if you want to be emailing your students, DMing
your students, getting the emails
of your students and their names and
stuff to retarget them, you should go with online
course hosting platforms. And again, if you're
willing to absorb some risk for a bigger upside, this is the way to go. It is a bit more offensive. That being said, it's worth it if you understand how
these hosting platforms work, and at the end of
the day, you have greater freedom when uploading in online course
hosting platforms. So these right
here are the four, let's say, biggest online
course hosting platforms that I tend to use. Kajabi Teachable,
Thinkific and Skool. Now, I would subcategorize
them into two categories. Kajabi Teachable
and Thinkific is one category and school
is another category. Let's talk about this right now. Kajabi, who should use Kajabi? Well, Kajabi is the
most premium option. If you like, and if
you want to tweak everything every single
year of the score system, you should use Kajabi. Inside Kajabi, you get to
change your landing pages. You get to check out to create checkout pages. You
get to upsell people. You have email
marketing solutions, and again, you can host
multiple courses there. If you have a follow if you're serious about monetizing
your audience, right? And you're serious
about this course thing, go with Kajabi. You can really
create beautiful e learning programs
inside of Kajabi. But again, it is the
most expensive option. Then we have Teachable
and Thinkific. Now, Teachable and Thinkific
are similar to Kajabi, but they're just
cheaper to host there. You still have access to
tweak multiple parameters and probably all of the
parameters that you would be able to
tweak in Kajabi, as a beginner, you
would also be able to tweak in Teachable
and Thinkific. And again, these are
solid solutions too. But again, Kajabi is
just a bit better. That being said, Teachable
and the givi still work, and you can definitely host a course that scales to tens
of thousands of dollars and, you know, multiple students inside of Teachable
and Thinkific. They're a bit
cheaper than Kajabi. Go ahead and compare
the options. That being said, I'm pretty confident that anything
that you're looking for you will be able
to find on both Teachable, Thinkific and Kajabi. And then we have Skool.
Now, here's the thing. School is the cheapest
platform to host a course. It literally costs
nine bucks a month. Kajabi costs like, I don't know, 300 bucks a month or something, if you're
serious about it. But school just costs
nine bucks a month, and you get to
upload your course there for free, not for free, for nine bucks a
month, but you don't have any landing page
features, right? And you don't have any ways to perform email marketing to
retarget your students, right? You don't get to have the
emails of your students. You can do this only
internally inside of school. But I'm going to show
you a cool way to actually bypass this and
host a course on school, paying nine bucks a month, but still gaining all
of the benefits of Teachable Kajabi and Thinkific. And just give me two slides. I'm going to show you
exactly how to bypass this. So again, bottom
line, in Kajabi, you should use this if
you're super serious with your course and you
would like to scale. If you already have an audience, you want to be offensive
with it, and you scale. If you don't want to use Kajabi, but you still want to host your course in an online
course hosting platform, not a marketplace and
market to your audience, you should leverage school's
hosting services and use AI, modern AI to create and deploy an awesome
landing page and a checkout sequence that
actually converts and enrolls as well as Kajabi, crazy stuff. Let me actually show
you how to do this. So at this point, we will be using, again, school whole star course, right? But we need a landing page,
and we need a checkout page. So we're going to be
doing this with Cloude cow or GBD six, and we're going
to be vibe coding the entire landing page. So what are we going to
be doing is that, again, you're going to be launching
Cloude and go create a whole video about
this if you want to. And then you can paste your whole course curriculum that we have also used
AI to create, right? And all of the information
about your target Avadar and the unique value proposition of your course to these
platforms, right? And you will be asking
Claude or GBD six. I don't care about which AI use. They're both amazing to actually create a landing bridge
for this course of yours after you've inputted
all of the information about your course
in, again, the AI. Solutions. And this
right here is how a basic course landing
page looks like. I hope that this is not too
much information there, but this is just the best again, description of a landing page that I could find and
I actually created. So the landing page starts
with the hero section, and the hero section just rests above the
whole page, right? And it's the headline,
the subhead, you can have an image and the first call to action, right? And this is where the
five second tests live, which means that once someone refreshes your landing
page, which by the way, landing page is just one page, a website that has just one page and clear calls
to action, right? When someone refreshes the page, they will see your
hero, which again, is the headline, the subhead, and the hero image and
the first CDA. That's it. Then you need to mention the problem that your students are currently facing, right? The pain that you're solving described in the visitor's
own words, right? Then the promise, what they
get inside of your course, when they get it, and how
it is actually delivered. Then after you've outlined their problem and the promise
that you again provide, it's time to again
provide some proof. And that's testimonials,
results, screenshots, logos, anything that shows
them that you can actually deliver
this promise. And then how you deliver this promise, the
product itself. So introduce the course
to these people, what it's actually inside
and how the course works. Finally, some objections, a frequently asked question
and a call to action. If you're bored, right,
then if you're lazy, you can actually screenshot this exact part of this video
and input it into clouded, cow or GBD six and ask, again, cloud create a
landing page based exactly on this data right here, and it will create an
awesome landing page. You've done this over and
over and over again, right? It really works like magic. So the final part here
is to connect Stripe, which is just a payment
processing again software to receive payments of people who visit
your landing page. And then once payments
are processed, redirect people to
your school community with a private link
after the payment. So this is how we get the
best of both worlds, right? We host on school for
nine bucks a month, and then you have
your own landing page that's like super customized and you can do whatever
you want with it. You can collect emails and you can code everything with Claude and then send people to your school community
just like that. And works this works
wonders, right? So again, now you have a product and a way to deliver
it and receive payments. Either host in Kajabi, if we're super
serious about this, wether host on school, you know, if you want the best
of both worlds, or you can host on Skillshare, Udemy and other online
course marketplaces. So congrats. Now you're paying nine bucks a month or
like 300 bucks a month, and your course isn't receiving any enrollments. Now,
here's the thing. If you've chosen to
host on marketplaces, marketing will be done completely automatically.
Don't need to do anything. You produce the course,
you upload it there, and you simply need
to search engine, optimize the title,
and the description of your course in order to
rank up on search results. Oops, there's spelling mistake. Again, I didn't use
AI to create this. Again, search engine optimize your title and your
description to rank up on search results of these online course
marketplaces, and that's it. No marketing done
from your end at all. And you will be growing
as an instructor. I just takes a bit
of time, again, for your efforts to compound and to actually rank on
search results, right? If you have chosen host a course on other platforms
like a Jab in Skool, well, you need to actually
manually market your course. And that's why I
told you that it's better to do this if
you have an audience. That being said, even if
you don't have an audience, I'm going to show you
a way to do this. So now let's talk about
online course marketing.
6. Marketing & Growing Your Course: This right here is the most important slide that
you need to understand. And those are the
core four ways to drive traffic to
your landing page, right, to your funnels. It's a combination of people who know you and
people who don't know you and targeting people
one to one or one too many. Pretty much, the four ways
that you can populate a funnel and you can
bring eyeballs to your offers are either
with warm outreach, cold outreach, running paid
ads or posting free content. So let's talk about
these four ways. I'm super excited. So
warm outreach, right? Warm means selling or
pitching to people who know, like and trust you. So this applies, again, to people with an
email list, right? If you have an email
list or any way to contact warm audience. This could be phone, SMS, email in person, right? Warm attitude you're
reaching out to people who already know
like and trust you. So again, you'd reach out
to your network and within a three to five email
sequence or even in person. If you're, let's say, selling
a $10,000 mastermind, you pitch your horse. Considering the fact
that these people know, like, and trust you, some
of them will enroll. Now, it all comes
down into having an evergreen email
sequence, right? So you need a constant flow of people inside of
your email sequence. But if you have this, you can leverage it and actually
market to these people. Now again, with warm email, again, with warm email outreach, you have a lower amount
of emails that you send because obviously you require these people to
know like and trust you, which is a finite
amount of people, but you get a way
higher engagement and way higher
conversion rate. Right? So this is warm outreach, and it's not the approach
that I recommend, actually, but you need to understand what
warm outreach is. Then we got cold outreach, and cold means reaching out to people who actually
don't know who you are, reaching out to
complete strangers. And in this approach,
you use AI and certain email software to
actually bulk send thousands, if not, tens of thousands
of emails per day to people who you think that are qualified and could actually
benefit from your course. Now, keep in mind that
in cold outreach, it's easier to deliver
emails in numbers, and it makes absolute
sense because your clientele is pretty much infinite. It's like
a whole world, right? Well, depending on the course topic
that you're selling, right? But it's harder to sell to
these people and makes sense, as you need to nurture
them to trust you. You need to nurture them. You
need to introduce yourself. You need to earn
their trust before, again, they pay for your course. So in this approach, you usually need
to offer what we call a lead magnet,
which is something, usually something that
provides value for free to engage these people
and usually short list the certain amount of them who actually go
ahead and interact with your emails and are interested in purchasing
your lead magnet. And I can create a new video in Cold Outreach, if
you want to do this. That being said, you
can also work with cold outreach marketing
agencies that have huge lists of
people and huge, again, AI software out
there that is super specific into
actually delivering email through cold outreach. You shouldn't do this yourself because it's a bit
more technical. So again, warm outreach and cold outreach not the
best ways to sell cars. I'm just mentioning them. So now let's talk
about running ads. I know a lot of people
who have made a lot of money with running
ads to courses, right? And again, in ads, we target people who don't
know who we are, right? But with paid ads, you actually reach out to people who don't
know who you are, but you leverage content to deliver your value proposition
compared to emails. Because emails end up in
spam, you know, emails, people might actually
read the subject of the email but don't want to
engage with the whole email. But with paid ads, everything is measurable, right? Ads are measurable, and
they can be refined, right? You literally pay for views. So you literally pay for
views when you run ads. And this is the fastest
way to scale, actually, of course, if you
have money to invest. But it can be tricky if you don't know what
you're doing with ads. If you're a complete beginner, you've never run a
single ad in the past, do not run ads for your
online course, right? You need to have some
sort of experience. And again, you need to undergo a small period of
time in which you're going to suck because
it's something new. But if you understand ads, it's just a great way to sell a course immediately
and start making money with your courses
immediately if you host them again in an online
course hosting platform. But here's the problem with ads. Once ads stop, like, your whole business
dies, pretty much. And you don't grow an audience. You don't get to grow an
audience with paid ads. Also, if you've been running
ads for multiple months, maybe you just saturate
a whole market. Let's say that I create a
course around tennis in Greece. You know, Greece has a
limited amount of people. And if I run ads and these ads
gain 10,000 use every day, maybe I saturate my
whole market fastly. So this is the problem with ads. When they stop, pretty much
your business dies, right? And you again, are subject
to algorithmic changes. You run ads through Meta,
you run ads, through Google. You run ads, through YouTube, and you don't know
what these platforms and these algorithms will do, you know, regarding ads, right, and ad policies. So there's a risk involved
here, definitely. But running paid ads is
way better, in my opinion, regarding courses than doing cold outreach or warm outreach. But there's one more
way to do this, and you're lucky because
this is your golden dicket. And this is posting
free content. Now, C content is literally the eighth wonder of the world, right? I said it. By posting free content, you let the algorithms
deploy your videos and attract your target avatar
organically. And guess what? These algorithms, they're just super intelligent nowadays. They scan your face, they
scan your background. They scan the transcript
of your video. They know exactly who you're
targeting with your content, and they're getting better
and better in suggesting your videos to the exact people who will gain value from them. And guess what? When you're posting free content out there, you don't need to pay for views, you get to build a brand around yourself and
around your offers. No one can steal
this brand from you. But posting content
requires time and strategy. And there are
actually many types of content that you can produce, which means that
the worst types of content and best types of content to produce
to sell of course. So let's talk about the
best types of content. Again, I personally
suggest posting content to attract your target out
organically on YouTube, right? And I'm going to show you the
best way to do that, right? So as you know, there are many types of content
that one can produce. And as you can imagine,
different types of content bring different results and different conversion rates. Let's say that my end
goal is to sell a course around Final Cut Pro
or video editing. As you can imagine, a Grand Theft toto
five stunt montage, right, won't bring anyone
into my video editing course, but a beginner to
advance, let's say, video editing guide on YouTube might actually start nurturing some people and bring
some enrollment to my course if this video
performs well, right? So let's put this
into perspective. What are the best videos
that you can actually produce to market
your course, right? And we know the
worst videos, right? These are videos that don't
convey educational value. But how can we optimize
this? Well, check this out. You target avatar, the exact same person that
will purchase your course searches for solutions of the spain point that he
has currently on YouTube, because YouTube is the second largest search engine out there. So to market our courses, we will be producing organic search engine
optimized videos. Those are search based videos, something that people type for, right, that aim to solve. Bear with me here, the ten
to 20 biggest core problems of our target Avador. And I'm going to read this
again because this is the most valuable point of
this whole presentation. To market our courses,
we will be producing organic search based videos
that aim to solve the ten, 20 biggest core problems
of our target Avador. So let me show you
exactly how to do this. Follow these steps, and you
will find success. Trust me. All right, so step
one, you use AI to create this target avatar if you haven't
done that already. And I'm not talking
about mapping out who your course can serve. I'm talking about actually drafting a whole persona
of your ideal customer. So I want you to provide details about the course
that you have created to aid with information
inside of GPT and describe your ideal customer with as
much detail as possible. Again, enter voice
dictation and start talking about the ideal
person that would find the most educational value from your course and just
give this information to AI and ask AI to create your target
outer for you, right? So then AI will literally give you a target outer.
It will give you a name. I will give you his
age. I will give you his socio economic status
and his demographics, what he does on a daily basis. And you need to have this target Avatar outline with as
much detail as possible. So in step two, we
ask HGPT to list the ten to 20 biggest problems that are related to your niche, right, that this
target Avador faces. And then we gave a list 1-20, one being the most potent
problem that your target Ador is facing right now and 20
being the least, right? So now we have the
20 biggest problems that our ideal
customer is facing, right? So in step three, We need to reframe each and every single one
of these problems to a search engine optimized
version of a video, right, that solves this
problem that you could create. For example, let's say that one of the problems of my
target After would be, I don't know how
to sound design. Well, this problem can be reframed as a video
that goes like beginner's guide to sound design your videos in Final Cat
P. And just like that, you will have, again, an endless list of
content ideas that are designed to attract and
nurture your ideal customer. This is huge. This is
huge right here, right? So if you stick to a
schedule and upload 12 long form ten
videos a week, right? And at the end of these videos, add a small call
to action, right? People will click
on this, again, link on your
description, and they will enter your landing
page. And guess what? With your content, you will
start growing an audience. One video will bring more people to other videos of yours, and you can create
this evergreen system of content that just brings constant traffic to your course landing
page for free, right? The profit margins
here are huge. You only pay nine bucks a
month to host on school. Right? And now you have this evergreen system
that brings students to your course with virtually
zero client acquisition cost because you're serving
these algorithms, right? You're producing
awesome content. You're attracting
your ideal avatar. And due to the fact that you're attracting your ideal avatar, right, they actually
gain educational value, and they get to perform
inside of your course, you get great reviews,
great testimonials, and this is how
you scale, right? So this way, you will populate your funnel
with people who know, like, and trust
you from YouTube. And at this point, you
just need to measure, double down on the content
that works better and refine. Now, I can read through your
mind you might be thinking, What if I solve all of the problems of my target
Avatar, all 20 of them, right? Why would you buy the
course in the first place? So remember, information
already exists online. The idea here is to just show your target Amator
that you're qualified. Your target avatar
should be thinking, Wow, this guy provided so much value in this video for free, right? And again, sell the implementation
on a course, right? For example, in the spirit we have broken down
every single step and every single dataset
that you need to understand to create launch and skill of course in
the next few days. And if you follow the advice of the speed rate here,
you will find success. But if you need help with any specific point of this framework that we talked about or have any questions, you can book a free call with me from the first link
in the description. Talk about it. And funny enough, I don't have a
course to sell you. I only work with people
on a one on one basis. So if you think that you have
a cool idea and you want an expert to actually help you put it to the
market and launch it, you can click on the
first ling description and book a call with me, and I will show
you exactly how to actually get this course
live and running. So thanks so much
for being here. I'm going to see you
in the next video.
7. Thank you message: Congratulations for making it up until the end of
this class right here. Note that you belong in a very small percentage of people that not only
enrolled in a class, but actually managed to
complete it throughout. And this is the exact person. You are the exact person
that I would like to communicate with on a one
on one basis and work with. So if you found value in
this class right here, but you still have
some questions regarding course creation, I would love to have a one
on one session with you, which you can book from my
profile here on Skillshare, and I'm going to be answering
all of the questions might have. So again, it's been a pleasure
to have you here. I have so many other courses that you will find value from, and I'm going to see you in
the next class that I create.
