1. Class Introduction: Going on, People. This is Prerak Meta. Today in this class, I'll be showing you all how to fully optimize your tres website using the Yoast SEO Plugin. The St SEO Plugin is a free plug in that allows you to fully optimize your website and posts on search engines like Google, Yahoo, and Bing. With the StesEoplugin, you can fully optimize how you want your web pages to be shown on Google search results. On page optimization is critical that you want to rank for Google search results. The StesEoplugin also fully supports rich snippets. With rich snippets, you can display your content on search results in a clean, rich formats to help you get more clicks and traffic to your website. All right, Now that you have an understanding of what this plug in does, let me walk you through what you're going to learn in this YostEoplugin class. First, I'll be walking you through how to install and configure the yostEoplugin. There are some strategies that I'll share with you all which helps us rank posts on the first page of Google search result. I'll also walk you through the general page settings and tools to make sure that you're familiar of how the Yost Eso plug in works. In section two, I'll show you how to fully integrate your Wordpress website with the Google Search console. And not just your Google Search console, but also other platforms like Pinterest and Bing. In order to start your website indexing right away, this will help display the analytics showing you your visitors and impressions. And if there's anything you can do to improve your website's performance, we will then submit our site map, which basically tells Google what your website is alive and ready to be crawled and indexed. In section three, I'll show you how to display your website in the Google search results. We will first optimize the pages of your websites, like the home page, the about page contact page. This is important because it will present the website in a really nice, clean format in search results. Lastly, I'll show you how to fully optimize posts on your websites. Now we will be working with a website that has not been optimized whatsoever. By the end of this class, our demo website will be fully SEO optimized and all ready to go for all the major search engines. What are you waiting for? Start your class today and I'll see you in my first lecture. 2. Unlocking SEO Potential: Step-by-Step Yoast Installation & Configuration: Guys, let's start with the very first lecture of our St SEO masterclass. I'm very excited. Just like you are. As you can see, we are going to start with the website that I've already designed for my freelance client. Now this website is of a diamond merchant. They are company and we designed this from scratch, but we haven't done any SEO work as of now. What are we going to supposed to do with this? We will use the free plug in. We'll do some optimizations over there. And we'll also look at how we can do some on page optimization to rank this website higher on search engines like Google. The very first step that we are going to take is to actually install our SEO plugin for that. As you can see over here, we have opened up our Wordpress dashboard. You need to make sure that you are in your Wordpress dashboard and your website is currently hosted somewhere on a hosting platform. Right here under Where is It? Where is the P option? Here you can see we have the plugins option. Besides that, we have the option to add a new plug in. Just click over there. Once you click on the Add new plug in, you will now be able to install new plugins. We'll ignore the parts, which is there on the top of the page, which is just prompting us to update some of our plugins which are there. And all we will ignore that part. Just scroll down to the part where you can find this search bar. Once you go over there, just search for SEO and hit your Enter button on the keyboard. It might take some time on your system depending on the Internet connection that you're using. Now once the log ins have been loaded up, you'll find out the used SEO plugin been showing on the very first result. Now used SEO is one of the very earliest SEO plugins that was available forward press. So we'll go ahead and install it on our website. As you can see, it has over 27,000 reviews and over 5 million active installations. And they have updated their plug in two weeks ago. Right? So they are constantly updating this login. It is completely safe to use and you can use it on your website. Just go ahead and click on this button, which is Activate. Once you click on the Activate button, this will integrate it with your website. Now what you need to do is just scroll down. And you need to click on this, which says Start First Time Configuration. Click over there, wait for some time, and you can scroll down a little bit. Once you scroll down, you might see two options over here, Dashboard and First Time Configuration. If by default the dashboard option is selected, just click on this First Time Configuration. Once you click over here, you need to optimize your website by the used CO plug in itself. We'll just go ahead with this button and we'll click and let the SEO used plug in do its job. Once it does that, we'll click on the continued button. It will give us the site representation prompt. Now what this basically means is that it's asking us whether the website represents a business or an organization, or single person. Now depending on the website that you are optimizing it on the basis of search engine optimization, you need to select the option. Now, since this is a commercial website, it's a business portfolio website, we'll go ahead with the organization option, which is selected by default. But in your case, if you're trying to optimize your personal portfolio website, you need to select on this option which says person. Okay? I'm just going to keep it as it is. And we'll scroll down and we'll change the website name. Website name currently as you can see to which is the name of the company and they are Diamond merchants. So we'll just remove this part because we want to represent the website name. All right. Or if you want to rank your websites up in the search results, you need to make sure that you include the keywords in your website name and your organization name. Organization name is the one which you have registered your business in, but the website website name depends on the name which will show up on this particular tab, window, tab, right? So just make sure that you stuff all the important keywords that you have researched on. Now you might be asking that, how do I do the keyword research? Well, just to give you a status example, can use tools like Semrush and we have some free tools as well that you can search upon Internet to do some keyword research. Now I'm not going to go in depth about keyward research tools and all because the course is focused on the Usseoplugin and not keyword research, we'll just keep this as it is which is B and Diamond Merchants Organization will keep this as just B and toke. All right, now once you're starting this entire optimization using the Seoplugin, chances are you might not see this option prefilled, just go ahead and fill it by your own and you can see organization logo as well. Now the reason why my data is already populated is because I've already optimized technically not with the on page optimization. So once you cover the aspects of entire search and optimizations, we have three sections. The first is on page, the next is off page, and the last is the technical optimization. So when you are actually building a website and if you simultaneously focus on the technical SEO optimization, you're already halfway done with the on page optimization. Nevertheless, if you have not done any technical optimization, don't worry, Just fill on this blank boxes that is showing you to fill in and just upload all the things which is asking you to do. Fill in your website name, your organization name, and the organization logo. I'll just click on the Save and continue and it will give me option to fill in my Facebook, Facebook profile URL and the Twitter profile URL. Now, since my client doesn't really have any Facebook page or Twitter page as of now, I'm not going to fill any URL over here. Or in other case, if you have some other social profiles as well like Pintrest linked in Instagram, you can integrate over here as well. For now, I'm going to skip this part, so I'll click on San Continue. Next we have the option to choose whether Yoast SEO should use the tracking of data. If you want, you can select, but for now I would suggest to keep this as the default option, which is no, don't track my site data. And that's all. If you would like to receive newsletter from the Yost company itself, go ahead and fill in your E mail address. For now, I'm going to skip this part and I'll click on Save and continue. We are done. That was all the basics of how to first do the configuration of your St EO, plug in for your Wordpress website. 3. Exploring Yoast SEO Options: Fine-Tuning Your WordPress Strategy: All right guys. Now that you have installed and configured the used Seo plug in on your Wordpress website, the next step is to look at the more advanced options which the St Eso plug in offers for that what you need to do is just scroll down till you find the option under the Sto settings. Just click on the option settings and this page will open up. Now before you jump into any other sub options, just make sure that in your site features, all these options are enabled. Seo analysis, radiability analysis, your insides, your cornerstone content Text link counter link suggestions, open graph data, Twitter card data, slack sharing and Admit bar menu. All of these options should be already check mark. This is one thing that you should check before moving on to any other step. Now once you have enabled all these options, just go to the site basics. Once you go over there, it will show us different options. Now what it's asking us to fill in is the basic site information. Right now as you can see, we have a website name. It is also asking us our alternate website name. Now, alternate website name could be very useful when the website is being accessed on a smaller screen devices like your cell phones. Or maybe even in tomorrow's time. If the smartwatch has a browser and people will be able to view your websites on their smartwatches, you want that this particular Chrome tab, or any other search engine tab should show up your website name in a very short form. So you want to actually place an acronyms or some alternate website name, Your alternate website name. All right, so for example we have this Sank Diamond Merchants. I can just copy Sank because that's what my alternate website name would be. I will just name this as Sank. I think this is pretty short and simple. Then we have the option to past the tag line. Now, tag line depends on the business or the person's website. Whoever it is, you can generate tag line whatever the company's agenda, their aim, their purpose, their mission aligns with. Now, my client never provided me what the tag line of the company is. How am I going to come up with the tag line which is interesting, intriguing, and also something which helps the search engines rank this website higher on search results. Well, in today's time, AI tools are very advanced. I just went on to chat Pd.com and I asked chat GPT to generate a tag line. Now if you're interested in exploring more, how do we use chat GPT for marketing purposes? You should definitely check out my course on Chat GPT for marketing. In that class, we see how to use Chat GPT prompts to help us in e mail marketing, content writing, and social media marketing. I will just past the tag line that I copied from chat GPT and what else I'm going to do, I will just remove these double inverted commas so that you tag line is never under double inverded commas. So we're going to use it like this. And then we have the option to choose a title separator. Now what does this mean? As you can see in my website name, I have a hyphen as my title separator. If you look at Nike, just do it. There could be this separator tag. This could be this one. This one. This one, or this one. Depending on what your use case is and which one would you like. Generally speaking, any of the title separator would work and it doesn't matter whether you are even using this or not, just go ahead, select any of the title separator that works best for your title of your website. Once you've selected the title separator, just scroll down to the part where you see the site image option and upload the logo of your website. Now what this allows you to do is basically it helps your posts and pages that don't have images and it will set this particular image. This will allow us to actually show up a logo besides your title, name of your website when someone searches for your website on search is like Google and Yahoo. All right, once you have done, just scroll down to the part where you see the site preferences and make sure that this part is enabled. Now, since in the configuration of our plug in, we already selected that. No, please don't track our data. This option will be unselected. Once you have done this, click on Save Changes. All right, let's go to the site presentation, or rather I should say site representation. Now we know that this website is for a company. It's an organization. We'll select this part. We have the organization name and alternate organization name. Now this is different than your alternate website name. All right, what do I mean by that? Assume that Facebook, we are creating this SEO optimization for Facebook page or Facebook entire company website, right? So Facebook is the name that we all know since 2004, right? Because that's when I think Facebook was first launched. But now these days, Facebook is Meta. Meta is an alternate organization name. If your company has a different or an alternate name, you can use it over here. If not, then you can just leave it empty. All right? Once you've done that, just select your organization logo if it is not selected by default, and fill in your URL or other social media profiles. Now since you know that my client has not provided me any social URLs, I'm not going to paste this over here. Cool. Let's go to Site Connections. Now once you go to Site Connections, you see these different options to connect the search engines like Google, Bing by adding the verification code. Don't worry about this. This part will cover in the upcoming sections. We'll just skip this part as of now and we'll move on to the section or rather subcategory of content types. Inside the content types, we have the option of home page, posts pages, and landing pages. First, we'll go with the home page. Now with the home page, we can edit the home page itself. Now what this basically means is that how your home page would be represented on a social media, when this is shared, when the website link is shared. Just skip this part. You don't have anything to do right now. You'll have to edit the home page by going into the, you know, the theme and the Wordpress editor that you're using. It could be, it could be element or whatever you're using. Just scroll down to the Post option. Over here you'll see show posts in search results. You can select this option. You have the option to use the SEO title. Here we have the title page, Subtorsite title. Now what this basically means is that let's say you have also blogs on your website. There could be ten sentence of blogs. The blog name would be the page name. Let's say we have a website which posts blogs on the upcoming gadgets, especially smartphones. It's going to have all the details of all the upcoming smartphones with the specifications, their price, the launch date, and all those things. That entire product page would be a blog and that page name would be displayed right over here after the title. Title is basically the name of your website, followed by the blog name, then a separator, and then the site title. Then you have the option to add a meta description. Now when we are dealing with a post page, okay, you can see we have the posts. Right. What I would recommend you to do is since we are dealing with the blogs, we don't want to add any manual meta description. We'll just rather use excerpt. All right, so just use percentage excerpt and this will come up. Now what does this mean? Basically, if you have a blog page, the starting content will be summarized down and it will be shown on the search results. That's what excerpt actually means. Just keep excerpt in your posts. Scroll down till you find social media appearance. Now what does this mean? Let's say you are sharing your website URL on a social media profile like Twitter or Whatsapp. When you share your link and you wait for about a second or two, chances are that website meta description, the website title and the website image will be popped up. That's your social media appearance. Unfortunately, this option to add the details is available with the premium version. I would not recommend you right now to pay for the premium version. I would suggest you to utilize all the free features and help your website rank higher on the search results. Once you get some traffic and you want to optimize it more, then you can maybe purchase the premium plan. But for now, you should be good to go with the free plan. Scroll down here, you'll find the schema. Now in the schema, you have the option to select the page type and the article type. Now what does this mean? Page type is basically if you click over here, you'll see different options like you have the web page, you have an item page, you have the bout page, and all these different options. I would recommend you all to select the default option and not make any changes around this. Then you have an article type which gives you other options like block post and all those things. Now, article by default is the best option that go ahead with. Why is that? Let's say your blog is currently written in a third person voice. Or maybe, let's say your blog in general is informational and it generally provides some content and educational content. Right? Something like I gave an example of a block post where you have written all the information of the upcoming gadgets and smartphones, right? You're just filling out all the details of those things. You're not adding any personal stories or anecdotes or anything like that for that article. Option by default would be the best thing. But if your block post has a personalized story, some anecdotes, and it is written in a first person voice, you should select the block post option. Once you've done that, select this Enable CO controls and Assessments, and just click on the save Changes. We'll wait for some time until we get this pop up message. Once we have done that, go onto the pages and you'll see this result. Now it will show pages and search results. Obviously we want that. What does this mean? Let's say we have home page, contact page about us page and products page. Or maybe even services page, depending on what the keyword the user has entered. Whether that keyword actually is present in that particular page or not. We want that page to rank in our search result. Right? For that, we want to select this option. Chances are that someone types in the address where your business is located at, your entire address would be available in the contact page, correct. So we want to show up the contact page of our website. When someone past the address of our company or the business where we have located, that page would be shown up. Now for the SEO title, just remove the page and just keep title separator site title. Okay, that's all we want for meta description, you can just put except as of now. All right, once you've done that, you can just select save changes and nothing else. Scroll down to landing pages. Now, since this particular website does not have any landing page, I'm not going to mess around with this thing. Because anyway, even if I make some optimizations over here, it's not going to make changes for my website because I don't have any landing page. Landing page basically means that a single web page where you're just asking a user to enter their e mail address or maybe even their phone number. It's a proper transactional website where you are not actually asking the user to enter their credit card or any payment gateway, but you're asking your user to fill in their website URL of their e mail address so that you can collect the e mail addresses to do further e mail marketing. That's for the landing pages. Moving on to the categories and tags once you go over the categories. Now this particular entire section for categories and tags is applicable when your website is of e commerce. If you've listed down some products that you're going to sell over the Internet, then you should be focusing on these two things. All right, let's assume that your e commerce store currently sells different category products. Like assuming that we are dealing with the diamonds and jewelry and all, let's assume that, what if my client tomorrow says that I want to make some changes in the existing website and make a commerce. Can you add some categories of products like diamond jewelry, gold jewelry, platinum jewelry, and silver jewelry? Those are different categories. We want to display categories in the search results. We'll remove the archives. We don't want that. We don't want pages as well. We just want the term, title, separator, and the site title. And that's all for the meta description. We want to utilize the excerpt, except what will it do over here? Whatever product description is there, it will bring out on the meta description. All right, let's save changes and we'll move ahead with tags. Now you want to make sure that tags are actually turned off. Now, why do you want to do that? Well, Google has recently announced that they have some changes made in the search engine. If they find any duplicate content, your website may get penalized if you take this option. Chances are your products description or some of the content of your website, we'll get duplicated and Google will find that out that this website is stuffing keywords and doing some unethical SEO work. They will penalize your website and not rank higher on search results. We don't want that to happen, so we'll just tick off this box. Save Changes, click on Advanced. We have the option of Coral Optimization Now, unless you are an SEO company, skip this part. All right. We'll go ahead with breadcrumbs now. What does breadcrumb actually mean if you've ever gone to Walmart? Let's go to Walmart website, Walmart.com Let's say I'm searching for a product. Let's say Macbook Air, M one, the laptop which I'm currently using to shoot the scores. I will select this product. All right. Once I select this, you will see this is breadcrumbs under electronic section, there is computers, laptops and tablets section. There is laptops, There's shop laptops by type. We have Apple Macbook, and inside that we have the Macbook Air. The history of going through different web pages is what a breadcrumb is. If you want to use this breadcrumb feature, you can go ahead with it. But generally, it doesn't make sense for your SE optimization whether you add breadcrumbs or not, it won't make any difference. It's just going to help the user experience more fun and engaging if they want to jump back to some section where they wouldn't like to go from scratch. What I mean is if they directly want to jump from Macbook Air to, let's say laptops, then they can directly click on this link. Otherwise, if the bread crumbs would have not been present, they would have to go back to departments, then select maybe electronics. Then go over, around and then go to new desktop computers. Or maybe even find laptops. So this would be a big hassle for your users. That's where bread comes, comes into the picture. All right, let's move ahead with Author Archives now. You should only enable this option if you're multiple writers working on your website. Whether it be content writing for your website or maybe even writing blogs. If you're the only person who is managing your website, just take this off. Otherwise, what happens is that if a single user is managing the entire website, again, chances of content being duplicated by the same author will be catched by Google and they may penalize your website. We just want to close this option and move ahead with date archives. Once you go over the option of date archives, you should unselect this option as well. As you can see even Yost says that we recommend you to disable date archives even they know, but I'm not sure why they have still enabled this by default. Basically, you don't want this website to get penalized, so just uncheck this option, scroll down, go to the format archives again and select this. Scroll down to special pages. Now once you go with the special pages, you'll find this four or four error pages. What this basically means is that someone might enter some URL mistakes, or let's say this website is Santok.com Someone enters just Santok.com and a website called Santo.com doesn't even exist. In that case, what should happen? It should lead us to four or four error page, right? Because that website doesn't exist. Or let's say when stop.com slash, I don't have services page. If the person selects slash services, it should show up four or four error page showing that page not found, separator the site title. So this is a very basic and minimal thing which will probably be there by default on your address website. Just skip that part and go to the media pages. Now this option is really interesting. What this basically means is that assume that I have already searched PSY Walmart on Google Images. Once I go over the images section in Google search result, I am getting this option. I get to see this image of PSY. Go for Gnoroic edition. I click on this image, It is redirecting me to the product link, which is there on Walmart. If I have this option to be unticked or unchecked, whenever I have any image on this images section of Google and someone clicks on the image, it should redirect to our website URL and not the image itself. If I select this option, what happens is that even if the user clicks on this image, it will open the image in a new tab. We don't want the users to just see the image, we want them to land on our websites. We should make sure that this option is not selected. All right. Go to the RSS part. Now, in the RSS feed, you'll find that there is something which is already present. Now, how is this going to help us? Well, in these days, there are many, many hackers and web crawlers who will steal your content without even giving you credit. And they will utilize your content to sell their services or products. Or even my trying to show themselves as you are and they will do your identity theft. We don't want that to happen. What we are telling Google by using this line is that whenever you post a new page or a blog or write anything on your content of the web page. Okay, this will post back link on that page and it will show up the author who has written on board date. Okay. This will allow Google to understand that. Okay, this is the original author who wrote this entire thing. Even if a web croll tiz tries to steal your data, your name, your post link will be paste it over there as well. All right, So this is a great way to prevent yourself from your content being hacked and your data being stolen for wrong purposes. 4. The SEO Game Changer: Integrating Search Console for Results: All right guys. Now that you have seen the advanced options to optimize your website using the Yost SEO plugin, Let's see how we can integrate our Google search console with this plug in. Just go over this search option, or rather we can see the option right over here which is the site connections. If remember, clearly two lectures back, we discuss that, we'll cover this later on. Here's the time, and this is where I'm going to discuss and show you how we can correct Google, Bing, and Pinterest with this website. So you can see this particular link which prompts us to take us to the Google Search console. So we'll just click over here and it will redirect us to this particular page. Now you can see it is redirecting us to the Google Search console, But over here I have my personal Gmail account. Now I'm going to change the e mail account, which is being used to create my website. All right. So just give me a second and I'll come back over here. So I'm back with this new search console with my e mail account which is being used to create my website. And over here what will I do is I'll just go to the home page where you'll see this option. Okay? This is where you'll actually see the option. And you need to click on Search property. Just click on Add Property. Once you go over there, just type in the URL off your website. Now there are two options, the URL and the domain. Why are we not using the domain and we are using the URL? Because if you're dealing with the domain side, okay, if you're dealing with the domain side, then what happens is that you'll have to mess up with the DNS records and that will take a lot of time and it will get complex. Rather, just go ahead with URL and just type in your entire website URL including the TPS colon forward slash STP forward slash followed by my website name. I will hit Enter, it will verify. And this has already been verified. Now in your case, this might not be the case. Okay. Since we'll be doing this for the first time, what will happen is it will show up an SDML code. Just copy that. Come back to this Google and paste that verification code over here, and click on Save Changes. Once you have done that, this will show you that the verification has already been done. Just click on Done. I'll go back to my website now. I will try to integrate it with Bing. I'll just click on the Bing Webmaster tools. It will take us to the home page where it should show us the dashboard itself, not my website, URL. Let's just go back to the dashboard. It might give you an option to log in first with the Microsoft account. If you don't have a Microsoft account, Microsoft prompts you to log in with the Google account as well. Once you click on the Google account that is synced with your website, you will have two options. Either to input directly the data from the Google search console or to manually add your website, just like I showed you. To do it, let me just show you how to copy and paste your HTML code. I'll just type in the URL which is HTTPS Santok.com add. It will give me the HTML code, which I'll copy and I'll paste it over here. Let me just show you now this might take a little bit time because Bing is bit slower than Google. Obviously, for reasons that we all know that Microsoft browsers are always really slower than compared to your Google Chrome browser. Let's just give them some time to add our website to their webmaster tools. And once it shows up, the pop up or what issue is it saying? Okay. There might be an issue from their end while we are actually entering our website manually, we'll just go ahead with importing our website. What are we going to do over here is we'll verify or we'll copy this entire thing. We'll copy this TML metatag. We'll go to the website over here. We'll paste under B. We'll save changes. Click on the Save Changes, come back over here, click on Verify. Now this might take some time, in some cases, even after clicking on the save option, your Bing would show up that it is not verified. Just give some time like 51015, or maybe even 20 minutes later on you can do it to verify. Okay? As you can see, it's taking some time. So we'll just give them some time to do it and later on it will pull up the results. All right. I'll just take you to the Google Search console and show you how the data would look like so you can see the performance of the website, entire thing. The site maps the performance URL inspection. All those things will be visible to you. Okay, now let's look at Pinterest. Just go to the Pinterest. And under settings, okay, under settings, you'll find claimed accounts. Just go over there, Click on websites, claim, copy this HTML tag, go on this Pinterest part, paste it over here. Click on Save Changes, Go back to your Pinterest page. Click on Continue. Once you do that, paste your website, URL, Ptc.com In my case, I'll click on Verify. Let's just wait till it actually verifies our website. In some cases, it might take some time, so it might show you that no relevant metotych was found. But just give it some time, about 15 to 20 minutes, and it will show the correct result. It will show you that it has been verified. That was all from my side to connect your different search engines to your website. Before we end this lecture, I would like to also show you how we can correct sitemap to your Google search console. Let's just go on the search bar and we'll type in sitemap and hit Enter. It will redirect us to this part. Click on the View XML sitemap. Now what this basically means is that it basically provides the roadmap to Google search console about which post and which pages to actually index and which ones to not. We'll just copy this entire URL. We'll go back to our Google search console. Under this section, you'll find site maps. Go over there. Once you go over there, paste it over here and remove the starting URL. And we just want site map underscore index, click on some bit, give it some time till it verifies and just click on. Got it? All right, that is done right now, it couldn't fetch the data, But once you click on Refresh, it might show you success. Now this is going to take some time in order to show you success. In my case, it happened instantly, But for you, it might take even 15 to 20 minutes. It all depends on the Internet correction that you're currently connected to. Yeah, that was all from my side. This will basically give you the results and about how much your website is performing and if you want to generate SEO reports, you can generate that. That was all from my side. I'll see you guys in my next section. Take care. 5. Boosting Visibility: On-Page SEO Techniques with Yoast: All right guys, Moving on to the last section of our class, we'll see how we can do on page optimization for our website. For that, what you need to do is just go to the web pages or select this option, all pages, Once you go over there, scroll down to your particular web page. We'll first do optimization for home page. Then you can do something similar for your about contact products pages. All right, we'll click on the edit option and it will show up this result. Now you're not going to be able to edit with the help of Elemento. We're doing this with the help of the Wordpress editor right now. Just scroll down till you find the option to do the SEO. Now you'll see that this is how your meta description, your title will look like when someone searches on Google. And this is particularly mobile result, not a desktop result. This is how it would look like on desktop. This is how it would look like on mobile. All right, now how do we optimize it in such a way that we don't get this red and yellow, or I should say orange warnings. What this basically tells us is that your title is not at all optimized, meta description could get better. That's what these colors represent. Okay, how do we optimize this? First, let's move on for the SEO title. How do we optimize our title in such a way that it shows in green result? First and foremost thing, always remember that your title should be under 70 characters. Okay, so make sure that your title is under 70 characters. Next thing is to include a keyword or two within the first line itself. All right? Chances are that your title could be long enough and it would split into two lines. We want the focus keyword, the main keyword, to appear in the first line itself. Do your keyword research efficiently? Put your keyword in the first line of your SEO title. For now, we are going to stick with the brand name followed by a separator and a location. Using this location, it's going to help us rank locally. So you can see it is also showing that there is some chances of improvement. Okay, merchants, there's some typo error. How well can we optimize this for now? Let's just keep it as it is. Let's move on with metoddscription. Now, why are we showing this excerpt over here? And initially it showed our title, separator and page title. Because if you remember correctly, when we were trying to make changes in the advanced option of SEO used SEO, we made that by default all the metod description and SEO title should be except your title. Sep, I should say tag line by default respectively. Okay, So that's because we just want to make sure that tomorrow if let's say there are more users to manage this website and they don't have any idea about SEO optimization. So we want some by default optimizations to happen automatically. So only for that reason we have selected these options. But ideal case scenario, this is not the best way to do it. So we'll type in the meta description now using chat GPT. I've already created an optimized meta description, so I'll just paste it over here. And you can see it includes a transition keyword. It includes the location, It includes the keyword which is diamond merchants. They expert in manufacturing, polishing, and exporting color diamonds. All right. All these things are present in my meta description. So what are the rules to follow for your meta description? First and foremost, it should be under 155 characters. The next would be to include two keywords, minimum inside your meta description. The third would be to add location if your business is local. And first you want to always scale up locally. And then you want to go globally. Always add the location. It could be your city, your district, or the state where your business is located in. The next step would be to add transition keywords, like you can say, elevate your style so that is unique and transition keywords. All right, so just make sure that your meta description begins with transition keywords. All right, let's try to update this thing. What else do we have over here? It's showing us some props that there are no outbound links. What can you say we don't have outbound links. The key phrase length there is a key phrase in order to calculate CO score. We can ignore this part as of now because we are not looking into the back links and as of now, but the things that we are focused on, the images, internal links, men, description, text length, and the SEO title, all those things are perfectly fine. If you scroll down this part, select this Yost option, scroll down to the part where you would see, where you would see the search appearance. You will see the mobile result and the desktop result as well. In both cases, it is showing green. That means we are good to go. But if you want that, a title should be displayed differently for mobile result and title result should be displayed differently for the desktop result. You can make changes as well. Okay, now that we have some AI tools as well, we can use AI itself. Here. Right over here. All right. We can add a focus key phrase over here. Just click on and we have a diamond merchant as our focus keyboard. Okay, We'll just select this. Okay. So you can see the entire SEO analysis is now, okay. We have readability analysis. You can see there is a passive voice. We want to make sure that the metad description and the content inside our website is written in active voice, so we can make those changes around. Then we have other improvements that transition words. You can see only 24.6% of the sentences contains transition words. You can use AI to do this, but this is only available in the premium plan. Now you can use the charge PD. You don't have to pay to actually use AI within the US SEO plugin. You can use Chart PT to get started. All right? Yeah, that was all about optimizing your pages. If you want to do something similar for your block pages, you can just go back to your dashboard, go over to the posts, and scroll down to the page where you block page. You would like to optimize it manually. Same things, nothing different. You have to follow the rules of meta description and title. All right, that's where we end our entire course on your SEO Plug in Masterclass. I hope you guys enjoyed this course.
