1. Introduction to Masterclass Color Pencil & pastel: Textures and Styles: Hi everyone. My name is Eva meridian and welcome back to another master class of drawing, design and creativity with color pencils on Pascals. In massa class number three, we will focus on textures and a style. We are going to learn fabric, landscape, eyes, lips, and also expressive watercolor pencils. We will using BTT VC method, how to draw, how to apply all the techniques that you have learned. How to come up with creative ideas and original artworks. So what are you waiting for? Lists? See the preview and see what you are going to learn in this masterclass. And also, I hope you enjoy the course and see you in the next master class as well. This is start. 2. Fabric: Hi everyone, Welcome back to another episode of dry and design and also creativity with color pencils. Today I'm going to go through fabric and how to draw it. Also how to shade the Qataris, the different materials and different techniques. So now this is start following my hand mobiles as usual, have your paper and pencils ready. I'm going to start drawing these feet, graphite pencil. It's quite easy if you look at the screen and how I do the lines, does strokes, and how I connect them. Please follow them. We have already learned all the techniques now Islam to apply them on actual drawing, an actual designs. And since this is a fabric and tickers are different. So in each part of this example, I'm going to draw or shape different ways so you can see and follow it if you want, you can complete it with one technique or no, if you want, you can mix it up as I did. So let's have a look. I'm about to complete the first part of the drawing. Now. The bottom part. Whenever you feel it's fast for you, the videos, I mean, you can pause them and also draws section that you want. Then resume the video. Also, I have put a lot of different fabric design, different fabric drawings in your assignments. Definitely check those out and start practicing down. You can also download them. Practice on those drawings. Didn't he can start drawing down on a piece of paper. Families drawing is really amazing to make your progress in different versions when it comes to drawing and color prints off. So I'm going to use these materials for the first section. One broad one charcoal pencil. If you don't have brush, you can make safe in stone blending. But if you don't have one of them, only two of these materials, which is one brush and one charcoal pencil would be enough. So don't worry, because of lack of materials. Also, I will put more guidance at the end of the PDS for you to download. So you can read those instructions as well. Back to our example. I draw a little on a piece of paper with my charcoal pencil, which is called Tampa Bay. You could find the materials link as well. We have pigments on a piece of paper. You can get that on your brush. So as you can see, gradually, I'm going to keep going left or right with a brush giving more texture. Let's look at it a bit. Real speed. This is the same way we use our color pencils in circular motion, but the Simons bit brush gradually give the pigments and the darkness. Don't do it at once. Exactly the same technique for colored pencils. See how slowly I go on the line. Then spread it. It's all about shadows and the highlights. Also, since we go through lots of examples, even in the previous episode, we have done a lot of cases, cities and different installations and art. If I'm fabric has those as well. So if you look at this design, you can see there are event and lots of ways to come up with different ideas and creativity when it comes to fabric. Either AES for ceremonies or parties, different versions. You can create different beautiful fabric installations for inside or even outside. So for outside example, when it comes to declaration bit fabric, if you remember, we had a loss of shapes and forms. Let's see, and let's go through cylinder and also combine it with fabric. Once we going to come up and both kinds of designs we can cover. This would be a great example for this part. You can see cylinder shapes. And also they're made of fabric that had been hung from the ceiling for decoration so easily with different materials. And the chefs you have already learned, you can come up with different designs. So for your practice, go through all the shapes and the forms we learned in the chapter two and then combine it with fabric. And then Steve, what kind of shapes including fabric you can come up with? Are they sphere or are they complex or convict? They can be different ways of making dose installations. Our show you few more examples so you can see what other shapes it can come up. And also, I'll show you different installations with fabric. But before going through more examples, look at my hand rule was undoes example. I'm not bringing complete darkness, but it's the feeling of the darkness on my brush, slowly creating dose. And then for the highlights, you can use pencil eraser to give more whiteness. And then I'm using pencil HB for just details. I'm not using it. A lot. Goes through the lines. Then don't let them be. Definitely even if you're using pencil HB or any other graphite pencil, either to be for V6 be ASB. Use brush on them. When it comes to realistic drawing. Series, I can't see. I added more charcoal pencil on my extra paper. Because even the pigments on the extra paper is going to finish, then you use a lot of brush on it. So you need to add to it, is exactly the same feeling of oil painting on a pallet. Then the pigments finished, you have to add more. It goes the same for charcoal on a paper as well. We are almost done with this part. I'm just adding more black color. If you couldn't get to darkness out. Or I have so many students asking me why they are black pigments, why they're black lines is they are not as black as what they see on the screen is because they are not using either derived brand or they're using soft or medium charcoal is quite important to use hard charcoal or as we say, compress. Charcoal stakes are compressed charcoal pencils. Those are the right ones that's going to give you derive amount of black color on your paper. Now you can finish your example up to here. But if you want to add more details with your HB pencil, and this HB pencil is just not a normal HB. It has charcoal material inside it as well. So it's good to try different brands in order to find out which one you prefer personally. I'm going to go around the lines for the last time. And then for the next example, we are going to use a combination of pastel powder and colored pencil on the right side, which would be green. So I'm going to distinguish for are the lines. Then slowly create a powder. By now you should know how we do this. And I said few times that if you don't have the pulse of how other, don't worry, just use your pencil for this part and then burnish the area with your lighter colors. Let's have a look at normal speed going on the line. It's important that you gradually at the colors. Make sure your pencil sharp as well. So the colors that I'm using, green pastel, permanent green, Hooker's green, and also brush on it again. The amount of darkness we are going to add, Be careful. But it depends on your if we want it to be very dark green or lighter ones. Since I'm doing this fabric, let me show you fabric insulation that was quite famous. Or show you a few examples while I'm using the pastel powder around the lines and then the colored pencil. I'm going to go on it. So let's have a look at these examples. For instance, if you were the artists behind this insulation and not as an insulation, but as an artwork, you wanted to draw this. Let's see how we can go through this. Of course, the same day you saw at the beginning of the episode that I draw it with the lines. You're going to draw the lines and this fabric, then the different colors, you're going to go on it. And in an abstract shape, you're going to add your color pencils. I will put more instructions how to do this in your assignments. So if you've got is one of the examples you can do, and then we can share it together. Vent that insulation becomes a drawing if it looks like something like this. However, that would be a lot of different colors for this 123 colors combined. For example, that I'm doing, I'm using blending technique. But for the right example, as you can see, to artists use hatching and crosshatching technique. So the right side example is not realistic sample. But if you wanted to make say it looks real, you have to use the one that we are actually trying right now on the left side. So we'd lighter color, lighter green band on the first layer and then second year with the darker gray. And then brushed it after the second layer and adding a little pastel powder. This is one of the techniques you can use for a whole complete drawing. So let's go through the next line and repeat the process. You should do all these things very slowly. The pencil, brush and the brush should we hawk series a or B? We will put the links to you can see what kinda materials I'm using at the end of the course. Also at the beginning of the course, you can find a material risk. So for the second layer, we're going to add more. And so then girl, then brush it. This technique drastically can help you with realistic drawings really and carefully. It patients practiced as far as it's one of the very important techniques in color pencils. Especially if you want to do hyper-realistic and later to do skins. This will become handy as a chance to see how the texture looks more real. I will do more techniques so you can compare them in this Example. 4, the next example, you have learned the techniques in the introduction part. So it will be only using color themselves and then blending them together without leaving any distinguish lines in between them. And then the pressure is a lot. The colors going to burnish into each other. So let's have a look. The baby should collaborate. You can use different color range. But what I'm using here, I started with scarlet, red. Then I'm going to use a mixture of dark. Cadmium. So there will be dark reds there than orange as I'm using now. Then cadmium orange. Also a mixture of dark cadmium yellow. But if we have no plans such as dark red, red, orange, and yellow, this company can be done. So use those kind of colors as well. You can see how going from the redness to the orange part, again, slowly mixing them. Then again, I'm going to go on it to get rid of the whiteness of the paper. We do more normal speed. Let's have a look. How fast or slow my hand is moving. Then repeat the process. So it's your decision which one of these techniques you're going to use and complete the fabric. Either it can be the charcoal one to pass still version, which is a nice sharp pastel and colored pencil, or this one which is only colored pencil and burnishing technique. And also the next part which I'm going to use, texture with colored pencil and one of the only bit graphite pencil, it's going to do harsher and harsher. Now, even though I use few layers on top of each other, but this is still the first layer. I haven't damaged the tooth of the paper yet. So now as you can see, I'm going to do the second layer, darker color. I'm doing the more circular motion and also very gradual lines. Now let's move to the first part of the section, which is only with graphite pencil. I'm using for B. You can use to BFA. And if he want not to use graphite pencil or H3 pencil, you can use colored pencil with this technique. It's mainly bubbles to cross hatching and the hatching part and how it can be done on a fabric. So let's watch it together. Look at my hand movements, see how slowly I'm moving it. And give the darkness. The same May, we're going to go for the left part and also thrive side as well. Just put more pressure line and then slowly go inside. You'll notice I'm using rather more circular motion here. Alright, why you are watching this? And I'm using the same type in other right side. Let's look at this fabric designer who use this method for the initial design of her fabric design. So let's have a look. So on the right side, she has kitsch, that design. And that will become the left part for a theater room. So for the next part, I'm going to use normal pencils. Dispensers didn't belong to any famous Bragg. And I bought them for a very to price. But to take the same technique we did with our former castle pencils. Also, when we are doing this, I'm going to show you how with these pencils. I'm going to do the same technique with the graphite pencil we did with lines, the assures. At the same time, while you are watching this and revealing this technique that we show you a fabric insulation that was quite famous at the time. And it's amazingly beautiful. And it's amazingly beautiful. Let's have a look. As you can see, this example has been done with different fabrics, different textures. Just imagine if you draw this on a piece of paper with your colored pencils with the same bay of drawing, you can see how maybe it is, it feels like a forest and also a mixture of ocean and clouds and everything together that all those feelings, all those features of nature combined here in a fabric Bay and also with different colors. So you can turn this into a very beautiful RFPs on a paper or on a canvas. Let's look at it closely. For your practice and your, for your assignment. I would like to ask you to look at this fabric insulation, draw the lines, draw its format, and then color it. Debate you feel like or devalues it. Also attached his photo onto your assignments so you can download it and have a look as your model. For the last two examples, I'm not going to use colored pencil because this is your drawing practice. It will really help you for your future drawings and your handbook events to warm up your heads. So let's have a look and see how you're going to come up with the lines. This is, these are all fabric drawings. And then how are we going to do hatching and crosshatching on them? So while they are saying this, I'm going to show you this last example of an interior design fabric. Insulation in a place that you could come up with. So let's have a look. This ceiling fabric insulation has been done in different shapes. Square, triangle, and also pyramidal shape that you have land, all of those formats in this course. So for your practice is better to draw the outline of this installation as well. And not just sees whatever you say that their shapes and forms related fabric just outline them, draw them, and be the same technique that we are using on the screen right now. Please draw them on a piece of paper for your practice and for your assignments. As you should know by now, instead of the episode, I talked about different topics in the period was episode I started talking about how as an artist, designer, creative industry, you can get into an art gallery. The first topic we covered was about portfolio and everything regarding to that. The next topic, the next point that is very important for galleries and for other people who wants to consider you more serious, serious artists is having a website. It's not just social media. What having a website, having a solid base is very important for so many platforms. So what is a website and how we can have one of these? Having a clean and neat website full of content and your artwork samples are as important as having different social media, such as LinkedIn, in cetera, Facebook and so on. You can choose any name when it comes to by about cite, both domain and hosting. But it might be better to have your name on your website so it could represent you and your art works by both domain and hosting. For a website might cause a little, depending on the name of your choosing. But if you're serious about showcasing your art and your portfolio, they give website should be on your list. You can't choose weeks or WordPress, which you can host it on site ground or GoDaddy.com. Building above site might be very overwhelming to some of your, and that's when the magic of online learning comes through. There are so many online courses or YouTube channels that teaches you how to do that. Or if he don't have time and can invest a little more, you can ask, avoid purse designer or a friend who is a designer to build your initial website buddy. And then you can fill it up with your information, pictures and also update those better way you want. Updating websites. It's very important. There are also website template platforms that you can choose. The platform, you can choose the template of your website and how you want it to look like, and then use the template to make it for your website. The last important point is to get all this elements from no names and websites you see you can get charged for something you shouldn't be and get a private registration. Finish comes to your website. Let's talk more about what you should put in your website. I myself have three or four websites for different purposes. One is my official website, one is my art institution, the upside. And the other one which I consider my main website is about tutorials and art lessons for my students and for anyone who wants to join the platform for the first time as well. You guys are more than welcome to check them out and read more about art and watch other videos there as well. These folks that actually covers a lot about other tutorials and other mediums and teaches the techniques that you might need for other mediums there as well. So whenever you want to check them out, please do so. But I told you about my website as an example, that each website functions differently and has different content, guys, if we want the website to act as your art portfolio for galleries and other organizations, didn't you should consider it your gallery platform. Rather than a blog or tutorial website. Your website needs to have about section, which is your biography or your art philosophy or a concept section describes your art or medial. You can also mix your concept, your philosophy, and oldest writing meet about section as well. Another section in your art, be your photos, your art photos and their description, such as what's the name, what are their mediums, how you say it, how long it took you to do it, and other information. Also, it would be nice to have a short video, how you are doing your artworks and those videos and put it in your gallery section. So others could get more familiar video and also your techniques. One section that galleries are scanners will care as well is if you are selling your artwork online or not. These can show that your art is sellable guys. And you're even doing this without outside support. Your selling our artworks online and other people buying them. So did he get one section to put your artworks and their price there that can be purchased. Or if you don't want to publicly mentioned the price right down, price on rigorous. So then someone email you about that specific piece, you will then send them the price list. So these were the main information about having a website, how you can purchase one, which websites you need to go. And you need to have a reason, a concept behind even your website. How it's gonna look slide should represents you as an artist. So dovey, you are going to design in debate, you're gonna put your artworks. It all depends on you. Also, when it comes to your photo gallery is better, you get very good photo high resolution was with good camera. Are we good Ifa. So happy. Good website. As I told you, is there represent that you're serious about your works. You have a large amount of body else works, put them online. You're confident about your career and your artworks, and you're ready to be presented by an art gallery. Also, if you are curious about what other websites that you can sell your artworks, that you can show it to other galleries that your artworks are sellable. Devops, that is called Etsy. You might know and be familiar with it already. But for those are you who doesn't know what is fc, please check it out. You can put your artworks there and sell them. It's quite easier to sell your art works when you have a fan base, then you have people following you and how people can follow you. That comes with social media. And what are those social media platforms that we are talking? You might have personal social media, such as Facebook and personal Facebook account, the personal Instagram account. Or even you might even have YouTube account, but we will be personal. But when it comes to your professional job as an artist, then you need to have another one, which is only for your work. You dedicate that for your artworks. I myself have those OU, for instance, I have personal account, but I also dedicated few accounts for my only art professional platforms, such as this one. You can go check it out and how I put art forms, how people looking at them, and what are the formats. So it's very important to invest more time into your social media, either Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube. The effect of social media, more and more important these days, guys, having an existing audience will help you more to showcase your art into more art galleries and get more exposure. It is not always that galleries go with an R22, has an audience. Don't get me wrong, but that one. But of course, there are artists we Tao social media that a lot of gathering is representing dam. And their artworks got notice. Either they showed it in an art fair or a colored suddenly lactate in a small exhibition and purchases. So there are all different ways that this can be done. But of course, having an audience will help you more throughout the process. So it's better not to let it be and start having a social media, having your website. Because many are getting better and better visual artworks. Then you realize you want to have a social media. It will take more and more time to get more audience. So it's better to start earlier than later. That's going to help you more even if your artworks is medial or you're just a beginner, rookie in art, it's fine. Start putting them. You will have your own ideas and then your audience will grow after a certain time. So I hope you enjoyed today's topic which was about fabric. We can learn different techniques, applied them on different fabric textures, and also learn drawing parts. I hope you practice at the same time as well. And I also hope you enjoyed our extra topic which was about website and social media. And let me know if you have more questions, I'm more than happy to answer those. In the next episode, we're going to learn more about landscape, more expressive landscape. So I hope you enjoy it and see you in the next episode. Good luck and buh-bye. 3. Landscape Layering: Hi everyone, Welcome back to another episode of drawing a design with colored pencils. Today we are going to cover landscape. You're going to start drawing it from scratch. And then it's expressive lines and assure and hatching techniques. We are going to complete it. So this is start. First, draw a blue line in the middle. I'm going to use a ruler to make sure it's straight. The colors that I'm going to use here would be different blue colors, also wide and different greens for the green parts. And of course, red. I'm using deep red, orange, and cadmium. So let's see how I'm going to do is to blue line that I started drawing. I'm going to go on it with our white color. Then again, you can't buy handlebars. And let's look at it for a second bit normal speed, how slowly I'm going to go with it. Let's have a look. Now you can see my hand movements. Mixing the colors. Take your time. Also for this practice. For any practice, I asked you to have your papers color parenthesis in front of you with this one is particularly important that we could do it together. I'm going to mix the colors from the dark blue to the lighter blue with the same direction. Don't change the line direction of your pencil movements. I'm using white color as the y's colors of Darwin color soft that I'm using. So for this fading, I'm only going to use Darwin color soft. Because I don't want this to be hyper-realistic or realistic painting or landscape. Therefore, our towel, he would be a good opportunity to see how the spread works on a piece of paper. Also, the paper has elicit texture because if you look at the blue part that I just completed, you can't see the texture of the paper and the graininess which is allowed for this paper. Now I'm just going around the lines and outlining the rest of the drawing. I'm doing good bit. Green pencil. It doesn't have to read that Marcia, correct. Because later you can change it. Just place the lines. Very Thank you. Can you want to create the green hills? Also be bent through the left Barth, now I'm going to go through the right part. Fallen lines because this outlines, they are quite simple. But later, if you don't do a lactase, it might get a little more complicated later. So a combination of blue and yellow will become great. We went through the color charts at the beginning of this course. So you should know that by now. Also have a look at my hand movements. I'm going with the normal speed. So you can see how I'm holding the pencil here on how I'm moving my hands with a pencil. This is the first layer we will add more later. Especially when it comes to landscape. Make sure the colors, how you see them, they're going to be there. Because it will be quite hard later to change it. Since there will be a lot of other details going to come onto this layer. Now for the blue part that I'm going to complete for today, Darren, blue pencil is quite important to make sure of your hand pressure, not just your hand woven will also depression. So let's have a look. This is a normal pressure, then I'm adding more pressure here. Also, you can see, I don't mind the graininess. Important to make sure of your hand pressure. So let's make it a little faster for you. If anytime it became too fast, pause the video. Complete apart, then again, resume the video. So as you can see, becomes the first layer, the second one, then a third layer faster. Now this is the first time I'm actually going on it. A little more pressure. If you add a lot of pressure at the beginning, you might lose the touch and how, and how much you want to bring your blue color there. So just start with really light blue. I'm just determining how and where I'm going to put the next new layer. Make sure you keep the roundness. Then gradually began to mix it with yellow color. Because this is the part that would be behind our tree. So that's why I am giving more pressure at some parts and less pressure. So if we look more natural later, here we are going to add some bluegrass. Have their days. We're going to cover the left part with yellow pencil for the first layer. They're are all the same direction for now. For your practice and assignments, I would love to see the striking that you have completed after you have watched the video. And then when you go to your Assignments, put other practice there. So it will help you to get better in expressive landscape drying. So for the second layer, let's put the green color like grass next to the lives that all those darker. D squared is quite simple. So I'll let you have a low cow, put the grass in different places, they should not all look the same. So go around. Now let's have a look. While I'm completing the Greengrass on yellow layer. You can't see how the lines looks like and they're almost very close to each other. And also they're very thing. But if you want, there is another way of this line drawing. I will show you in a different example. Let's have a look. You can see how lines are competent to the one we are doing on their left side. See how more expressive, right example it is an hour is between realistic and expressive and non-realistic. So if you want, even on this example, after you practice this one, you can experiment the thicker line to see how it's going to look different. Now if you're almost done with the yellow hills, for the left part, this is done with yellow pencil, almost the same direction. Just go all over it. And then bit darker blue. Don't put too much pressure because it's going to come out green. And mid green color go next to the line. So you could have green Christ, they're just going to use it in places that I feel like it needs. Just adding more pressure. Gradually you will see how all these things going to come together is going to become very beautiful. So be patient, take your time, start practicing. Until now. In the previous episode, we have learned quite different techniques that were old technical. They all have rule. But for this one. We do have layering. We do have the same line drawing, but there's a specific rule. So make sure you enjoy drawing it and have fun with it. Don't put too much pressure on yourself or how this line is going to come out and this word is not right. Don't be nervous. So don't be nervous when you're drawing this example. This is supposed to be a beautiful landscape and be fun at the same time. So just enjoy drawing it without putting too much pressure on yourself, even though you have to put also pressure here that I'm using. This look at it with normal speed. How slowly I've moved my hand there. So for this drawing, there are three points that we have to remember. Light pressure, medium pressure, and heavy pressure. So we're going to start always with light pressure. Then for the second, third layer, medium pressure. Then for the last part, we're going to bring a lot of pressure, which is called heavy pressure. So make sure you notice that since we talked about light pressure, one more thing that you should notice are delight and white lines in between the heels are in sky as you can see. For instance, what I mean, Let's have a look at this part. Unless notice where are the white lines? So but I say what lines, it doesn't mean they're actually wetlands because I'm putting more pressure here. You will see there are almost white lines being created next to it. You can see I have two different colors, font darker, one lighter, and my hands. Another carefree lines here as well. I'm going to create another white line. As you can see here as well. Now it's all about our hand pressure. So let's have a look together. You can also see it on the screen, but I add more pressure. House looks like. Get this area. It's getting darker. And I made sure to whiteness. The highlights stays there. So it will look more natural later. But we are drawing an utter details at the end. Keep practicing at the same time while watching this screen. I'm going to start adding darker blue. After this. This one, the sky have a shadow, do as well. Now I'm going to start using darker blue. Just next to the highlights. Don't overdo it. Don't press too much as well. Just keep a hint of darker blue the town hall and be themselves. And also my pencils, there are sharp mixtures. Your pencils are sharp. However, if you want your texture to be bold, as I showed you an example few minutes ago, you know how to make your pencil sharper. Color. I'm still kinda gets sharpened self. We are almost done with the blue part. Now. Miss, keep using green and yellow for this part and util more. And then we're going to go on the right side to draw the campaign. Small house. You can, either for the capping the small house, use your brown or black or light brown. Let's have a look here. This is same technique we used for the year apart. Keep the white highlights and also make sure you have enough color next to the highlights. Now, we're going to go more into details. Flushed this more slowly. For DCE part. Whenever you want to draw, pause the video, draw this part, and then resume the video. So let's push it together. Finish with the CAPM. Now I'm going to add dark highlights and shadows. Well around. What, why we're watching this uncolored to show you two more examples of different nature drawings and also with different pencils to this picture that I'm going to show you. This example shows that if you want to draw with more normal pencils that didn't belong to any famous brands, how the texture is going to look like. So let's have a look at the line drawings and how did it looks like. So if you look closely, you will see detectors. They are not as good as the ones that we are practicing right now. However, if you have mobile pencils, you can go through this line drawings and use this technique which you can't see how subtle the lines look like. They're not really texture wise. And for example, if you look at the background and how it looks like, it doesn't have that much textures as we gave here. So it's quite floppy. But if you look more closely and also the texture of the trees and the stalls, this has been done brilliantly. If you want to do this kind of practice, it requires more time and more patients. Because you need to use blending and burnishing techniques, which means that you have to do a lot of layers and also is more realistic rather than expressing that we are doing here. That's why you have to go through the beginning of this course. Again, apply the techniques that we lander onto the trees and distance. But if you want to do it more freely and more expressive, this is the right example. So let's keep looking. Now it's about more pressure and more details. See how I'm changing the hand drawing and the lines, giving more textures over there. And this part lists or under grasp for awhile. It darker green. I'm going to give and draw more grass. And the left side as a hint of blue as well. Since we have the shadow after blue parts on top screwed that have a little below here too. So the color is going to be too different from each other. Since I'm drawing here, I'm going to show you another example that if you want to draw your grass and you don't want your lines to be distantly gate. You can use these textures as well. Let's have a look. You can see in this example that the lines for the grass has been drawn by Barry, feature lines and less delicate. So that depends on your personal preference and how you want to pursue. You're growing and you're landscape. So we have another version, another example, if you want your line drives to be even more delicate. Not the one the example that I showed you and not the ones that we are actually practicing right now. But it's been done in more details. So let's have a look. So in this example you have to use more and the slower hand movements. And also your line drawings should be in circular motions rather than just up and down and in one direction. Also, let's compare our two parts on the screen. One, the right side, on one little upside. You can see and compare how textures different. How the writer has been done, more delicate lines and the liver is harsher, but also the leftward is more expressive as well. So again, it's a matter of preference, is a matter of how you want to pursue your landscape. If you want to go more with expressive, faster, you can use this one. But if you want actually to practice is saying landscape this one. But the right side example that you just saw, this practice, Brooke. Alright, This work is quite important for our drawing because it represents the water. And it should be done, and it should be done with less colors. Even though when I sit less color. But it should have a combination of the older colors that we have on the screen now, green, blue, yellow, and then darker version of dose. So you should present the shadow, the highlights of dose that is under River on the water. And also make sure the lines that the parts that come on today water part our darker. And now for these four ideas with your red colors or with red brownish color pencils that you have. So that depends on you and what kind of pencil you have. Let's start drawing on this words to give more winter feeling Lex here. So I will continue to mix this color and yellow together. So let's have a look. Now since we are donaghey D, small lines. This particular color, live longer and go around the green parts. As you can see on the screen. I'm just gonna make sure the colors are not all the same. With the different pressure. I'm going to bring different colors, each part. The same thing goes here. Now, before we start drawing our main tree. On this part, I'm just gonna make sure we have enough yellow highlights around. So I hope you are practicing together at the same time. I'm just going to go a little further with the same colors we use, red, yellow, blue, or greenish all around. Just a little and give more colors all over the place. But the Areas that we feel like it needs more colors. Just one tape. Don't give the same amount of color in all places. Each place, different pressure, different colors. Make sure they're all different. Now we have enough color there, so it's time to grow our main tree. And also we will add and draw the stone that exists in a river. We can draw them. It's a half circle, shaky lines. You can see my half moments, how they're looked like. The lines are shaky. Here I'll demonstrate one is still and then more will come after this. Let's look at one with normal speed. The important part is how I move depends on the color pencils, and of course, the shape of the stone, that they should all be different. After you drew a few examples, go around them with little color to make them stand out more. I'm adding elicit green. Because definitely each word that we draw, they all have the main colors that we have used in the entire drawing. Don't use only one color for each part of those. Mix them up. This part of all do a mixture of colors of green, red, brown to draw the main prey. Normal speed. Let's have a look. I'm going to draw the branch slowly with thin lines. We should be thicker at the beginning. See from the main branch. Like here. Make your figure then go into very slim line. Take your time when you're doing it. Now let's continue. The next branch. Make it shaky. Not all your lines should be straight, otherwise they're not going to look normal. Now it's all about adding and making this thicker at the end and also add more branch. And I get each branch should look different. And even don't be afraid to take you to the other side of the drawing is all about. You're confident when you draw the lines. But make sure if they are very thing. Don't make your thick at the beginning. Because if you think at the beginning, it will be very hard to correct it, especially at this kind of drawings, which it has background. So let's have a look with normal speed. Here. Slowly, I'm going to add another one. I'd take my time. Make the line thinner and thinner and it goes higher. And then I go on it again. When I know where is the line and if I'm happy enough to give more color onto it. So now I want a colored pencil. We're not sharp enough for these branches. So our sharpen day. You can see how sharp it is now comparing to the previous branch that I did with it. So for this part, we are going to complete the branches. So let's have a look together. But don't forget, each one should be looked different. Different direction. Different pressure. Yes. 4. Landscape Texture: Now it's time to go on the main body of our tree. We can't say because I put green there and now I'm adding more red. It's becoming more brownish. The end part. I'm adding more pressure. Slowly make your figure the amount that I think is right now, the brown color. I'm going to go under red part. Not too much Persia. As much as you give the brown color onto the branch. Again, make sure your pencils, they're all sharp. When you are doing especially disbarred for background, you don't need it to read that chart. It is good to be sharp, but especially for branch part because it needs to be feed in order to come up more realistic. This so many times, do not add the same pressure. All parts to all should be different. After this, I'm going to draw various French on over and a lot of it. So let's have a look together and please practice at the same time. Now that you're done with the main parts of this tree dry, I'm going to start try allows off background trees, which is they all have less color and are all the smaller compared to this one. So let's have a look. Now in this part, for the trees in the background, I'm going to add the leaves. It glow colors. If you can see they're almost round shape that I'm going around the thin trees. This part, you can do it the way you want. It doesn't have to have a specific shape. And as much as three, you feel like it's right amount in the background for this drawing. In my opinion, this is enough. So looking forward to see your practice for this assignment. So after this, I can say the first part is finished. So from here, you're almost going to add the second part, which should be darker. Because again, see I'm adding more pressure. This practice and watched together. And see how you're going to add the second part and darker colors on around. I'm gonna move to the right side. More pressure with our green color pencil. This time, please pay more attention to the line drives and I'm doing on here because there will be different from the left side and how all the lives for the same direction. Since this needs to represent a forest and a hill, a green hill. You need to have different hat movements around here and also mix the colors. You can see I'm mixing darker green and lighter green together. For despair. It doesn't matter if they are not really your pencils. There are no sharp or not. As you can see, we're going to jump from this part. We will continue adding more layers and more highlights, bit lighter, green and also yellow. To show the Somme shrine. On the green parts. Become using the yellow going into the whiteness of the paper, using the yellow. So these could represent itself better. For t-squared. Please pay more attention. Hong going to create more darkness. You can't see my pencil is sharp here since we are drawing to stills. And so you need to show that they are deep into the seaside, into the riverside. And then I'm going to add more details here. Let's look at a normal speed so you can see how much pressure on bringing onto it. After days next to the trees, I'm going to start adding more grass. So d, roots. Walton part of the trees look more natural. Let's have a look. Now for the detailed parts. You're going to add more stones. Sometimes lighter pressure, and sometimes heavier pressure. Also for the next few minutes we're going to spend time on drawing the stones and the details. So have your dark green, light green, and the yellow. We can also use brownish here and start adding the details for this tells and go over it together. Now, looking here, we are going to add more sense later. But however, since we have enough of them ongoing onto the river parts and add more dark colors, mixture of dark blue and light blue. Because my hand move as I'm going through, you have to make sure you create the feeling of the water here. So don't overdo it at the beginning. I'm going to start adding the second layer for the cabin, for the small house. Let's have a look for the cabin next to the lines, make sure they're darker. You can see I'm even adding a little dark brown, especially for the roof part. Also add a little more grass, it blue color. And then continue to do that. The amount you're gonna do, it's up to you, but be sure you don't overdo it because you don't want to show too much texture. Obvious section of the graph over the same as I'm doing. You can always go back and first work on the details and go around. If you see something is undone, keep adding onto it at more colored pencils on top. And that's how the stones and to the river make it look more natural. Now I'm going to add more colors onto the river. Be very subtle here. You don't want to make sure river too dark. Since its surroundings is dark enough. If you add too much color, it won't come out bright enough and it won't have the reflective effect of the water that it usually needs to have. So have a look how I'm going to stop there and go into Add next to the lines and spatially next to the Stones. Bit more shadow feeling, more reflective feeling of the stones onto the river. If you learn this technique of the reflective object or anything onto the water, onto the river. This would be a good practice for that part. You can see I'm adding different colors because for the reflected part, we don't have only one color underneath this stone. It should be the blue part, the orange editor, or even degree. And then don't let it be like that. As you can see, I go on it one more time to reflect in part. I think more stones. Don't add to list and too much disport, or let it be your choice and that's your assignments. I'll see how much and how many of them you wanted to add. You can see next distance. I definitely missed to add lines underneath them to make them more natural. You are seeing this for the normal sweetener. Just don't add too much pressure of the pencil in just enough that the lines drawn, they're going on the stones a little as well, on the sides, not on the whole thing. To give more shadow. The next detail, you need to pay more attention thought about just drawing the object the way they are, but just the feeling of them onto your painting. So what I mean by this, let's have a look how I'm going to draw some of them. Upset days. As an example here, didn't actually looks like stones, but the feelings of them there is very important. So you don't have to actually draw the objects for exactly how they should look like. Just a feeling of them. They will, it will make it more natural. Now if it green color, I'm going to go around the stones, create data reflected parts onto the river. Bring more pressure. After days, since I don't want the whiteness of the paper to stay on the corners and the edges. Just going to fulfill dots part with our color concert. If you don't want to do that, that's completely fine. So I'm adding the same color with the dark green and the lighter ones. I'm going to go on it. Move your hands in different directions. This practice will really help you to warm up your hands for any other practices, even for a pluralistic practice. So please venue check your assignments, go through them, and there will be lots of examples that I want you to do. You can see I'm adding a little small branches here, small lines, very thin bones. You can do more or less. So that depends on you. Here I'm adding a little white pencil, but it doesn't matter if you don't want to do it because the violence is not going to show that much. After I drew a little more branch, different branches here, I'm going to use Darwin color soft white pencil on top of this stall. So you can see venue added at the white pencils, a dark colors. How's going to look like? So you can see it's going to looks more natural. So if you have the white pencil, please start added. Since Darwin color salt is a backspace pencil. They're white pencil, they're better. A mission to your fee and timestamp, 4-bar castle white pencils, they are not good enough or burnishing or creating the highlights. So if you have use either Karen dash or Prismacolor white pencils, I'm going to add more blue collars in between the stars and the river. For this part, either use dark brown or black. Even though I'm using black is better. You start with darker brown. So you understand how much darkness you need to bring. I'm going to go around and say fish bars needs to be darker. There's also draw some grass next to the stills. Even though they're into the river, it will make them more to look more natural. And then the important part is the lines which it little dark sharp next to the steles go around all of them, make this happen quite a bit darker. And also just, you don't need to add more for the sky. These are the extra details that you can bring. As you can see, it's very expressive. That's why I call it expressive landscape. And just use a darker color. And the body of some of the trees. The background. Just make sure since we've gone down to look more natural, not often look the same size. One thing that I always need to ask my students spatially when it comes to human features drawing. And it comes to eyelashes and eyebrows. I'm comparing eyelashes and eyebrows with the branch of the tree is because they are almost the same feeling, the same technique. Just they should not be the same size. They should not all be the same direction. But alas of them, at the beginning, they still don't listen. So it's better not to have the same direction and the same size. For all these examples. If you want your drawings to look more natural, you can see none of the brushes, they're the same size. Now we need to work more on the reflection parts and teach and see some of them's kinda looks like a line underneath the Stones. I'm doing it either with dark brown or black. And then go on it. Don't let it stay there. Just dark brown or black because it feels like raw. It feels like when you're cooking something, you're cooking gamete. And then you don't add the water to actually cook it. So don't let your colors to say the very raw. Even here under stones. See how many times I add different colors on to each his talent. If you compare it from the beginning of this episode Until now, we can see few times I added different colors and then go back and forced at more. Now it's all about details. So far, we've been through all of the details that I'm going to add onto them. So you should know that by now. And then start practicing on your own example while watching. And then after days, we are going to start adding either leaves or flowers onto the tree. However, if you want to let your tree to stay like this. You can do that as well. Since the fall and winter. It really doesn't matter. So that's your personal choice. Now have a look. Okay. Okay. So I hope you enjoyed watching. Until now. Now is the time to go and draw the leaves. You're going to use orange, yellow, and a combination of red. You can see it didn't actually have any shapes. Just our lives be different colors. So I'm going to continue these all over the tree, few different colors. Let's have a look. Hello. I forgot. Okay. Okay. As a faculty mentor. Hi. Hi. We are almost done with the tree part of their lives. So if you want to add less or more, you can do that. Just to make our drawing illiterate different. Absolutely. Leaves. I'm going to add a few birds flying for the sky. Just make sure you take your time when you do this on your lines are faint. Your pencil should be sharper than my pencil. So it could come out easier. So we are almost done with our drawing. I hope you practice at the same time. If not, please watch it one time and then for the second time, definitely less practice together. Also, don't forget to check your assignments. And if you had any questions, I'm always online to answer your questions regarding this ones or any other episodes of this course. I'm just going to add and little more darkness all around the drying. Like here. You can see I'm adding a little more. And then you're almost up. From next episode, we are going through more details such as eyes, lips, and more creative stuff. So I hope you enjoyed it. See you in the next episode and bye Bye guys. 5. Eye Drawing: Hi everyone, Welcome back to another episode of drying and design and creativity with colored pencils. In this episode, we're going to learn how to draw an eye in a very simple way. So you draw a line and then you're going to cut it in half. In the middle, you're going to draw an oval shape. As you can see on the screen, is better. You practice at the same time. Then either from the right side or the left side, you are going to continue that line. As you can see. And then draw a curvy line connected lines to the overall. Very simply. Now here, back deadlines and bolder. For now, please have a look at my hat Provence and how slowly I go over the lines. Now in between the two lines, again, I'm going to cut it in half and then draw the lines in between. The two new lines that I created. Drawn the this draw, a small circle that's crossed the upper eyelid, but always attached to the lower eyelid. As you can see on the screen. I'm just going to leave it there. And then the pupil should be exactly in the middle and on the line. Then for the tear doc, grow small, oval inside the shape. And then a very thin and parallel line. Again around our oval shape. This is the basic structure of an eye drying. If we want to learn more about these and also about human features, please do check my other course, which is called master cross off dry. And now I'm creating the details inside the RAs and also the highlights. But why I'm teaching you this is not because the realistic drawing upon EI, but we want to know what's the main structure of drawing an eye so we could create a creative design out of this. So after days, you will see how we can begin to create a creative design. Does the same format, but the smaller. Now, this fork on it. I'm going to continue D, h, the end part of the I on the right side. For this part, I want you to continue drawing where I'm putting the lines. You will find the oldest examples in your assignments. So you can either download them, looked at them online, and also you can print them out and work on them separately. All the eye drawings. And also the next episode, which will be different I drawings. And at the end of this chapter we will have to I drawings. And also the next chapter would be lifts drawing and a creative part of it. They were all in details will be attached in your assignments. So you can follow the techniques and learn how to draw them. So please check them out. I'm connecting the lines. I'm drawing. Good luck days. You have to use your creativity and come up with different ways of putting more detailed, drawing more details. Either it can be diamonds, are different shapes. This is like a fish, the end part, the tail part of the page that I'm drawing here. Then slowly adding the eyelashes. We are almost done with this word. In the next episode, we are going to learn more about designing this and how become more creative and how to color this in a realistic way with colored pencils. I'm just adding a few leaves. It can be flowers, it can be anything that you can imagine. So it depends on you. So I hope you enjoyed this episode. I'll see you in the next one. Make sure you have your papers and pencils ready and take care. Bye bye. 6. Eye Drawing Spring Theme: Hello everyone. Welcome back to another episode of drawing and design and also creativity with color pencils. Today we are going to start coloring our eyes. It's fabric castle, color pencils. There are polynomials and also eight. Remember in the last episode, we learn quickly how to draw an eye. And I mentioned that you have all the different versions of different eyes and how to practice them in your assignments. So it's better before starting this chapter, this episode, you check this PDF, download them. So if you want to practice this method that we are learning today, you can practice on those examples before you drawing the eye yourself. If you had enough practice, please do start repeating at the same time. So if you could practice together, now, I'm using charcoal pencil. You can also use black pencil, but charcoal pencil will give us more blackness comparing to any other black pencil. But if you don't have charcoal pencil or contact pencils, keep using the black color pencils. On the screen. I'll show you which one is charcoal and which one is color pencil black. This one is the black colored pencil that I use. And also this wants to or charcoal pencils. However, you also can use black markers if you want. What if you are using black marker or any codon marker on your paper? Because they are watery and they can damage the paper and also your work entirely, make sure your works, the thickness of the paper. They're either above 250 GSM. It's better if they are 300 or 350 GSL. If you're using. Looking at our example, I started with our green color and then around the iris part also fill up some of the details. You can see those small line to small strokes. Also for the pupil parts, I use charcoal pencils again. And you can see how much I also cleaned around it fit my pencil eraser to make sure there is no extra lines out. And everything's neat. Also, the shaky lines, you have to get rid off down before drawing that before color and see how slowly I started using the yellow pencil and then start mixing it with lighter green. You can see I'm using circular motion to blend the colors together. Be very subtle, very patient here. So I mix the color, for instance, the lighter color and the darker green. And for this line, you can see I'm starting to get rid off the line that were created between the yellow and green. Both by blending technique. Always claimed the area that you're drawing. Now, just a tip that all my students in my previous course, which is about human features they know about iris part. Always a top part of the iris is darker because of the eyelashes, because of the shadow of the eyelashes. So you have to use, if you're using green, you have to use darker green. For this. I I'm using permanent green, olive, as you can see, I did it. They're quiet, dark to Hooker's green and also grass green because it's very light. And that yellow was chrome yellow. And also you can add pine grain as well. Also, please notice that I go around the white highlights of the eye. I don't go inside because it would be quite hard to bring back the whiteness of the paper. If you color it. It will be quite impulsive event VD, pencil eraser or electronic eraser. So it's better for them to be untouched. Gradually, I'm going around the iris line to give more textures with lines. As you can see, don't do it all the same size and same shape. The length of each line should be different. And some of them more triangular shape, as you can see here. So this bird is all about giving enough details. Now, you can see I go back and forth with the same colors. I gradually add the colors and the pressure Regarding of the highlights shape. You can add them in any kind of shapes you want here. They look like square, But you can make them, draw them like circle or any kind of other shapes that you want. And then make sure you go rounder. And the lines around the highlights are a little darker comparing 2D upper iris. Now for the eyelashes, I added a little charcoal pencil and I've been on it with a brush. Then to make them finner. I'm just going to go on down with a pencil eraser. This is elastomer eraser, which we have different type of it. This is a circle type, which is good for eyelashes and also is very good to give textures to the hair. Hair drying. Adding black pencil on a Chrome OS. Look at the way. Make sure your principles, they're sharp. Now going inside the white parts of the eye. Even though we feel, and the thing that I do are white, but it's not the whiteness. It actually has a hint of blue and grayish inside. And for each different individual is different. So added a lighter gray next to the upper eyelid. And then go on it with some of the thinner lines. Don't add too much pressure just enough that you give gray color. Here, I'm going to blend the gray colored pencil with the brush. See now it looks more natural. Now, disperse. We are going to start coloring it like a color book, as you can say it. So it's quite simple. Even know all the techniques, so forth. So you just go round them, layer, blending and burnishing. You can see how much I make sure everything's cleaned before. Use the colored pencils on them. Because if they are not plain, menu, use colored pencils on dirty surface. The color pencils gonna come out very bad, so it's not going to come up very bright. So make sure your paper there is clean. Before they start coloring the right side. I'm just going to make sure the blackness is enough. Because just one more tip. If you want to add charcoal and pencils in your model, in your example. If you first add your color pencils and then you want to add your charcoal pencils or any thing that is not colored pencil, they gonna, it's going to be very hard because you cannot have the same amount of pigments, have the darkness of the color pencils surface. So make sure you don't do that. First you go around the dark colors, we make sure they're there. Then you start coloring individual color pencils. Since I draw this, I read HB pencil, graphite pencil. When you want to use color pencils on down, it's better to erase some of the lines or make them less visible. So it will be easier to use your color pencils on down. Now, we're going to go around it are yellow, chrome and also grass green. To cover inside this shape. Again, at the beginning of the episode I told you, and also previous episode I mentioned to you, if you want to add any other shape here, please do so. It doesn't have to be shape of a butterfly. It can be like a diamond. You can be a circle. It can be any shape that you imagine. So again, as you saw, I raise the graphite lines and then went on it with the color pencils. Now, it's all about coloring and mixing the colors. And some parts you can see I add lines, texture inside them. I use yellow chrome entirely. Then go around the line, sweet grass green, especially near the lives to make them darker. After this, I'm going to use a darker green as well. Improve brand of pencil you are using. Div will have the similar colors. So match the colors and use those if you want to follow this color patterns. On the lines, I added a little darker green. Now with the same colors. Let's draw the lower eyelids and then gradually go down. To get my hand. Woman's not too much pressure just enough to give the color this yellow line. You're almost done VD main part. After this, it's all about details. So I go around, see which parts miss more color. Now, this word both represents eyelashes, but also the leaves, heart. So outline them first, then lead to more colors, grass, green, and yellow Chrome. Then you can add a darker color or the same colors. To add a third layer. Now with the same color, I'm going to add some details like dots over there next to the leaves. If you want to add more or less, that depends on you. This is the white gel pen. You have seen me use it before. I use this because when I draw something we charcoal or colored pencils, It's quite hard to use white pencil on Dell. So I prefer to use white gel pen. It's quite easy to get this. So we are done with this word. I hope you enjoyed it. In the next two episodes, we are going through different I drawings. The next one would be like an anime. And the last one is like a drag on I, you will learn how to do them. So I hope you enjoyed it. See you in the next episode and buh-bye. 7. Eye Drawing Ocean Theme: Hi, Welcome back to another episode of i drawing and creativity with color pencils. In the last two episodes, we learned how to draw an eye and also how to color them. This time we are going to draw a different shape, which is more like an anime. When I say anyway, I, it means the iris, the pupil and the shape of the eye is not normal stone like a normal human being I drying. So let's have a look how it's been done and how the lines used to be connected together. Comparing the left eye example and this one, the cat, the iris, the size of the iris and the size of the pupil. There are much bigger. So I'm going to add the upper. Ideally. These are all details lines that it can be changed according to your own personal taste. To highlight what looks like a square on the eye and also an oval shape highlight. Now you're dying with the drawing part. I'm going to start coloring good, fit lies fallow blue. And then gradually I'm going to add the rest of the colors you can see on the screen. So it's mainly with blue, the only colors that it's not blue, it will be light green. However, I'm going to use a little charcoal pencil for inside the iris that it could look darker. So as you can see, slowly, I'm going on the lines. Make sure the lines sharp enough. And also a plane. This word is the eyelashes. They are not normal eyelashes so you can draw them. And also how many of them you want to draw. It depends on you. Just try to make them looks more triangular. And then next to these blue lines here, I'm going to add another color and then blend them together. So as usual, have your paper and your color pencils ready. So we could practice together. Going around the iris and then I'm going to start using the charcoal pencil. It will be easier for you if your container pencil or charcoal pencil, there are sharper. You can control them better. After this, I'm going to use my brush to shade the area, to blend the charcoal pencil on the paper. Look how dark is going to get. You can see I move my hand very slowly. Since our modelers very small. You can find different versions, different models on your assignments. I will attach a lot of different examples so you can choose the ones you want and practice on down. This is the lighter blue I'm using here. So the combination of the colors depends on you. But it's good if you could go through what and how I'm doing down. It will look more natural. Now slowly, I'm going to draw the eyelashes. As I mentioned before, these are not normal eyelashes. If I want to learn and know more techniques about all these details, but in hyper-realistic and realistic drawing, please check out the other course, which is called masterclass of drawing and shading human features. Now gradually start drawing the iris part. I will try not to go into the white highlights, the oval shape and the square shape, and a goal around them. In circular motion. Very easy. Just go around. And if you want, for instance, the pupil part to be two colors, you can do that to a lighter blue and a darker blue and mix them. So again, circular motion go around the pupil. Or it can start from the iris scan and go towards the people. That depends on you. I'll show you, I'm going to draw another highlight inside the iris like this. Now, again with circular motion, go round and very easy finishes. Part B, darker colors go round, iris. To make the lines more visible. Only just shadow. There, all the details. Since the main part of our drawing is finished now it's time to create different designs. And, and start using imagination and more creativity eroded. So maybe we could use different shapes, different elements that you can find around you or in nature. Very sense, relearn all the shapes and lots of shapes on how to do that. So now I'm going to use some of them in this design. So let's watch it together. Now with blue color. This fixed the iris part until more and add more color over the it both dark blue and also a little black to make sure everything's lined up and clean enough so we could move on. We got my hand movements, how I'm trying to make that line as thin as possible. After this, I'm going to go through the tear doc and add some shades over there too. As I mentioned, since this is not a realistic drawing, doesn't matter. If it does have specific details. However, bit. White gel pen, I'm going to add more anyway, feeling highlights onto the iris part. After we are finished with the highlights, I'm going to draw some water drops near the eyelashes. And also then I'm going to add some circles next to them with different colors. I will start drawing them with lighter blue color. First, go through the main shapes, laurel, different sizes. And also with darker blue. Let's start adding a thicker line, exactly where we place the shapes. See for double time part of making it into a beaker. So I'm going to replace the display off drawing for all of the circular motion. Gradually, I reduce the pressure and go inside. Men near the line, make it more visible. But then they're going almost inside the shape. You circular motion and go inside. Disclose for all the sizes distributed again. Now for the last one. After this, we can add other shapes with different colors that would be more distinguish. Circle y's. Go around the circle, more pressure and reduce the pressure when you go inside. Different sizes, different places, like parallel diamonds, doesn't matter how you do it, just make sure it's clean and neat everything. For instance, you could have added red color or yellow color. And the amount of circles and drops you're going to draw. It depends on you. And I'm going to add some lines for the background. To make them stand out more. You're almost done with this example. We're going to continue this chapter, the next example. So please, after this, go to the next example, next episode. And we are going to learn how to draw. And I, which is a drag and I also don't forget to go through your assignments and practice those as well as these ones. And do submit them online so I could see your progress and see you in the next episode. Well, Bye. 8. Eye Drawing Dragon Theme: Hi everyone. Welcome back to another episode of i drying and creativity that color principles. In this episode, we are going to cut her this drag. And I can see on the surface on our white paper with different colors, mainly purple and pink, sees a lot of dragons that we see either on cartoon alleyways or even employees. They are either pair pearl or dark purple, pinkish, oldest colors. So we have the outlandish ready on the paper. If you want to see more about the outlines, please check out the assignments and their PDFs attached. They're older. So you could either practice on those or print them out. As you can see on the screen, these are the colors I'm going to use today for this. I drying. Now this is start withdrawing the iris part with different colors in their path to AI drawings example, you saw how we could draw them with different techniques and different color blending. So the third one should be easier for you. We go around the highlights and we're going to speed up the this example. Comparing to the other two. The IDs of the dragon is not a normal arteries. As you can see. It, She looks more like an oval and edges should be sharper. Towards your IRAs. We are going to add more purple, then they're gonna go into pink, glitter, red. And then for the bottom part of the iris, we are going to leave it as white. So a layer of pink and little red, which is lighter red. When you cut the hand movements, how I'm going to reduce the pressure. Go to bursty. Boy Riley. And that's almost enough for the iris part. For the eyelashes. I'm going to use charcoal pencil to make it really dark. We can either use choco pencil or black pencil or even black marker. If you have. Just make sure your paper there are strong enough for markers. And then for the brush. You have used this and done this practice, this technique of shading the charcoal before. Also in the previous two examples. We can see after I do that, if it needs all gone them with a pencil eraser to make sure it's neat. I'll take the brush a little into the iris to, especially for the top part. Now we're going to start coloring around the eye. It the same color of Athens that we chose, the purple and pink. Now it's matter of how to mix them together and blend the colors. Any kind El Paso brands you are using, try to use all the purples, bluish, pinkish colors that you have. So I'll make sure the in-between the eyelids right. States white. This is a tear doc tear ducts usually oval shape. But since this is not normal, I doesn't matter how you draw it. Usually when it comes to AI drawings, especially you can see and compare it with the two examples on the screen. The white part of the eye, they stay white or at least you at anytime grayish. But here, I'm going to cover it in color pencils for our drag on I. For your assignments, I have already add winter, I springs, I even fire are the different scenes and elements. I put different practices for you. That is because when I go back and forth, the paper keeps getting dirty. So I tried to keep it clean by the eraser. You don't have to go on it with brush. These are just extra parts, extra details that I go forward, so that is good. You learn them as well. In between the white lines for the lower eyelid. I draw it in pinkish and also at the eyelashes in triangle or VAE. Now it's time to add the shapes around the eyes. In the previous examples, I added leaves, drops, and spiracles. And now the ovals and circles with the same techniques. When you draw the lines, add more pressure and then many go inside. If the pressure going to add more different sizes. We use three different colors for this part only. You can use any other shapes that you want. And anywhere around this, I know I'm going to add more layers for the upper eyelid. Now I'm doing it because I wanted to make sure we are the shapes that I want to prove it. Now they can go around them. Because if you put the lines, they're fast. It will be quite hard to go in between it and add lighter colors. As you can see, the circles is in-between. Either, You know, Days place before you start drawing it. After I added more shadows, I'm going to start adding the white highlights with white gel pen. Let's have a look better. We're going to put them different circles, different shapes. This time I'm going to go on the eyelashes to make them more shiny. It makes a lot of difference when you add. Despite this, you cannot do this with white pencil. So I advise you is good to have one of them. We are done with this example. So I hope you enjoyed this part as well. In the next episode, which is the last episode of hydride, you're going to learn how to draw two eyes together and also how to color them. See you in the next episode. And buh-bye. 9. Drawing Two Eyes & Design: Hi everyone, welcome back to the last episode of drying. In this episode, we are going to learn how to draw two eyes together and also how to color them in a creative way. First, let's go through the drawing part of how measure two eyes together. We will draw a line, then cut it in half. Free or walls the same size between the amount we have to measure. And then after we are done with the free ovals, you're going to make the 20 volts on the sides more visible UV going on it With our pencil. And then slowly we are going to apply standard techniques of an eye, Dr. Blair, at the beginning of this chapter, which you can't see on the left side on this too. Because my handful bus, I mentioned this last time. If you want to know more about human features, about our drawings and go into details of hyper-realistic drawing and take the x, please do check my other course, which is all about these techniques and also how to shake down. Now, you're going to complete the left part. The same way we draw the right part to tear doc. Then we're going to cut the lines in half. In middle. We're going to draw a circle. We should cross the upper eyelid. And then in the middle and on the lines, they are going to draw the pupils and also the highlights, as you can't see. After this, you are going to see a two ready grown eyes on our paper. You will find this practice also in your assignments. So if you want to make it feeder, you know the standard size as against the I'm showing you, you can go like days and then easily draw down and add the details. So when it comes to creative drawing, specially for eyes and lips, the sizes that don't matter if they are not the same size as a standard size. So I mean, you can make it thinner or thicker. As you can see on the other examples like a dragon eyes or the animal eyes, the size, then there are creative, they don't really matter. So I just showed you the fabric castle polynomials pencil that I'm going to use on the right side example. First, I'm going to start drawing charcoal pencils for the upper eyelid. This is like a makeup, our line, because I need the lines, the black line to meet very symmetrical for both sides. Take your time for this part. And then the same way. We are going to dry it on the right side, you have to do it on the left side. That's fine. Uh, make sure the charcoal pencil is very sharp. You can also use black color pencil or marker. Now, we are almost done this part. Just use your brush. Very small, maybe 600, or size one, or even size double 0. Depending on your ISI's, you have to use bigger or smaller brush sizes. If there is any extra powder created by the charcoal concert, don't touch it, just blow it away. I'm adding the eyelashes. I'm doing this now because after I draw everything with colored pencils, it will be really hard to create this. Another layer of color pencils. It won't even come out. You can try, it is good. Actually, you try colored pencils on that extra pay her. Then try to use different tools and materials on them. If you experience in yourself, you should always remember what to use and whatnot to use. Just very, very thin line. I draw the lower eyelid and then shade it with the same brush. At the beginning of the episode, you saw the result and how they gonna look like. So for the right side, I'm going to use mainly red, yellow, orange colors. And for the left part, I'm going to use a lot of blue and green colors for it. I'm going to start with the light pink. Now you will see on the screen all the colors I'm going to use for their right eye. It will be mainly the pink and the red and yellow. Of course, it is an orange, cadmium red, pink matter, magenta, magenta. So, but also, I will use pink pastel for the upper eyelid here as well. You have learned how to do work with pencils. For under layer of color pencils. You can see how a gift, the details. Like the first example that we did, which is green above these two eyes. For the second IV, which is mainly with blue, I'm going to zoom in. But for the first one, I didn't zoom in because I want you to have a wider perspective. But for the left example, we will go into details and house done. For this part, I used two different pink colors, one darker, one litre, and grow the lives. And with a lighter pink, I went through the lines and with circular motion. Completely iris part. Don't add too much pressure. So later, if you want to add more, you would be able to just going to give more colors around. Raise. So make their lives more visible with darker, pink. After a while, you have to make sure your pupil is dark enough as well. We are almost done with the IRS part. Now with the same colors. We're going to move to the upper eyelid. Going to start coloring it. I'm using a little brush on it. If you want, you can use lighter colors. Let's have a layer of pastel powder onto the surface. So I don't put the powder directly onto the paper, but I put it on the brush and then bring it forward. You can see I'm using the brush in a circular motion and add more color, more powder onto the upper lead part. Then go on it again. Makes it more realistic. Then you'll do this part few times, especially when it comes to the upper eyelid and then go on it again and again with the brush. So you need to repeat it a few times. Now this is the important part. This is start layering from light color, yellow to orange to red. And two darker red can see slowly. I'm changing the color. Let's look at this part. It normal speed. This slope lending will make the drawing may more beautiful. Changing the color to another pencil. Gradually, I'm going to add the colors. Take my time. Sometimes I bring that color onto the previous layer, but not too much. Now I'm adding a darker red. So whatever pencils you have, the brand doesn't matter as long as you choose, right range of colors. For instance, from yellow, you don't go to a very dark color suddenly. Now I'm adding a little more pressure over here. Now, and this is speed up. I'm going to add another layer of pastel powder. If you don't help us there, powder. You don't have to add them. You can only use color pencils, blending and burnish and technique. Or if you want or use another technique, solvent would be a good technique for this part. But I usually don't approve. Sold them for myself. Minuss comes to face drawing, especially eyes, nose, since they are very delicate and solvent is a liquid onto the color pencils to blend them. So it's better to either use this technique or just a normal, typical burnishing and layering technique. Even fit brush and trying to form the eye. The pink area. Make it look the same as the first layer. If at the beginning of your drawing you don't burnish the area, you can always go back like how I did an add more. Do you remember I told you that if you add charcoal pencils onto the white paper, it's much easier rather than the color pencils. I'll just show you why. It's not. Forget this part. You can see there's not much dark color could be done on the pencil layer. Now for this part, I added a little brush onto the eyelashes. Now with different range of pink colors. Darker ones are lighter walls. I'm going to go through this area, try to slow down and then adding another color here. So as this is our second layer, I'm going to add a third layer after this as well. Bit lighter colors. But first, this finish this part. Also, we will use our brush on the pencil area and also around the eye to make it into better shape. Now I'm going to add more details. For the second layer. This is the third layer. I'm adding red colors. As you can see. Going to mix it up and burnished area. I'm adding more pressure, if you notice. Now if without any pastel color, I'm going to layer this area with color pencils. The orange and also yellow. This time, I will make a finer I let go of the upper eyelid because in that part, I'm going to draw different designs. And we will go through that part together in few minutes. Adding lighter yellow color on the tear doc. How he formed the eye. This depends on you, but it's good practice. At the same time. Now I'm going to add pastel powder, the gray, onto the whiteness of the eye. In detail. You do that. You can always do these feed. Gray pencil, very light gray pencil. And then bear niches with white pencil. So I'm going to add more details onto D tier dog and be lighter pink and red pencil. I'm going into the tear duct details. Now if it black pencil, I'm going to work on the lower eyelid lines. And also after this, I'm going to work and the eyelashes a little more. Let's have a look. Make them feel they're adding more of them there to make it more beautiful. Now I'm using a black pencil is not truncal. Look how I draw the eyelashes in a triangular way. I'm trying to do it on 2D, whole upper eyelid. And also for here but smaller. For the left example, you will see this more in details. So no worries. We will go through it again. Now it's time to go into the creative part of the drawing. I drying. I'm going to add a little different shapes. An object like flowers, leaves, branch. And you can also add from your own imagination, Walter way you want here. So this part is not about techniques, but it's about creativity. This add few more details. This looks like half of the flower. So I added two circles over there and go through the lines, outline them more. Over here. Let's draw very small butterfly. I will have attached different designs for your assignments so you can use dose and mix them up for this practice. That's going to make it a little bigger at more details with darker colors gonna go onto the outline. So it's a mixture of pink and purple. And then I'm going after these, use yellow pencil to go into the butterfly. Debate, outline for the butterfly and four, or for any other things we are going to draw here is very important. As you can see, even on the clover mix, it stands out more. Now let's draw a branch with leaves and also fruits on it. Let's go through that leaves part. Therefore, since I'm going to draw different things and if you've been, you can't follow them exactly how they are or add your own version of them. So let's have a look together until he moved to the next part. Okay. Okay. Welcome back. So I hope you enjoyed so far. And if you follow it exactly how they are, I'm looking forward to see all your practices. Now from this word, we are going to zoom in at the white details with the white gel pen. Now going through the second example, which has I told you we are going to show it in more details. The right example, I wanted you to have a wider perspective, but this one, I want you to pay more attention to the Beatles. All right, Let's follow my head. Lovell's. For the eyelashes. I'm going to add the smaller walls in a triangular way. Now. I'm going to start adding the details. Different shapes. This time I started adding these shapes first because I don't want the first layer or different layers I'm going to add, go into this part. You will see how they are going to look like and why we are drawing the objects, the leaves, designs first. These are the colors I'm going to use for this example. Also, we will use pastel blue for the first layer. Now we'd liked her blue, light cobalt. I'm going to start drawing the inside the flowers and the circles. After this. I'm going to add the pastel powder above the upper eyelid. Does follow my husband has, for this part, I have to say, let's follow the brush movements right now. Now, I have to be extra careful because near the charcoal lines you can see it's degrade. Area has been created. So whatever you do, you will have those gray area, but we are going to fix it with colored pencil later. As long as we cover the area. It enough powder. Going to get rid of the line that I draw these two eyes. And now adding more powder from dark to lighter. Now we did plenty and techniques that are going to start coloring it from light blue to dark blue. At medium pressure, not light pressure or heavy pressure. So later we can add one more layer. I'm bringing the lines a little onto this part. Now I'm going to mix it with the previous layer. This part, you can add a little more pressure. Continuing, adding more color. Careful not to go into the Design part. Now let's look at this part together on tape. He moved to the lawyer I laid now it's time to move to the lower eyelid and also the iris part. After days, you start adding the details for days. Please pay more attention how I'm going to go around the circle and then how the lines should look like. Because the right side example we couldn't see in details. Now I want you to pay more attention. This is all about mixing in between the lines. Have to be careful not to color it in one go, but to give some highlights. Lighter color, the darker lines also. And so you can see discord, Nestle caddied with normal speed. For the top part, I'll add circular motion with our pencil and then try to cover old area except of white highlights. So again, the same way it did the upper eyelid. You're going to go for the lawyer parts. The past and powder for the first layer, then blended and adds more darker pastel powder over there. Since we have used this method so many times, I've played gap memorize it by now and adding the third layer. Do you remember I told you the top part of the iris, all of us DACA, because of the eyelashes. That's why we add the darker blue over the extra details for the tear duct. Also go into the white parts. Give any say greatness, like how we did for the right side example. Now it's all about our hand pressure in an app that these aren't gonna go into the IRAs and the outline to give more darkness over there. For disbarred, make sure your pencils that are sharp and dull mine is not sharp enough. And since equal view first time drawing and I spit or to use sharp pencils. Now I'm going to add more details, predict creative part. Different blue colors. So for this part, like the previous example, this draw the designs however you like, or you can follow it exactly as it is. Let's watch it together. Hi. So I hope you enjoy so far. Also followed and practice at the same time. Slow and circular motion. And it'll go into the whiteness of the I. These are the very last details. I'm going to add. The darker lines, the iris. And then some highlights for the designs that we did. At more details. And they mentioned we are almost done. You're going to add a soft eyelashes. Like polychrome was an after these ongoing to use white gel pen to give white highlights on 2D eyelashes. So this part depends on you, how long and how much darkness you want to give. You just have to make sure both sides, for example, you have enough darkness. So let's add the highlights. In the next episode, we're going to leave striking how to draw it, and then how to color it didn't come off with the design. Also, you will have a lot of examples inside the assignments for next chapter as well. I hope you enjoy the eye chapter and older episodes. And see you in the next one. Take care and bye bye. 10. Lips Drawing & Design: Hi everyone, Welcome back to another episode of drying and design and also creativity with colored pencils. Today, you're going to go through ellipse drawing and also how to color it in different designs and also patterns. First, let's go to the drawing part. Draw a line and then cut it in half. There will be too symmetrical or walls in this direction that you can't see on your on the screen. Then another two circle, they both cross the oval shapes. Also, if you want to go through more details of human preachers drying, please check out my other course, which is called masterclass of trying and shedding of human features. You can see I'm just connecting the lines. Many. You go through your assignments, you will find all these details there that being attached so you could follow them or either print them out. So you can practice on those examples as well. Just make sure all the lines that are connected. So when these come suited, both all walls and these two circles to sizes depends on you. If you want to be a female, leaves or a thicker leaves, or if you want it to be wider or mainly heart-shaped leaves. Those depend on what kind of models we want to go. So let's practice again together of a draw, a heart-shaped leaves for you here we should smaller. You can see the two balls. There are much higher meniscus to these two, both direction. So the oldest go through two ovals and circles. Now I'm going to show you a ready-made live streaming. As you can see on the page. Quickly, you can go like this and then dry it. But when it comes to the main part, you have to take your time. Don't do it really fast. All right, guys, after this, we are going to start painting our first layer. We did low-pass though. You already know this detail and these techniques. After we have enough father with a smaller brush, I'm going to spread it onto both sides of the leaves. First we did lower part. After I'm done with the passive part. Then we're going to decide what kind of shapes or designs we are going to have on it. As you can see on the screen, It's deserves the colors I'm going to use for our lives. Different blues, such as cobalt blue, light green. We there fallow blue. Combination of days will give us a very beautiful lips with a lot of interesting designs. You can see I'm very careful and I go around. Now, it's time to complete the upper side. Same way. We can also create the powder outside your main paper and then bring it onto the surface. Let's look at it with normal speed so you can see how slowly I'm doing this. My handle bands and the way I use the brush, they're all circular motion. It's the same way. I use the color pencils until our models slowly move. From left side to the right side. I started from the left side because I'm right-handed. And it will be easier to start from the left. Because if I start from the right and go to the left, the paper might become a little dirty since I need to go onto the model. Now we are done with the first layer. I'm just trying to make everything neat. This is a last summer eraser that I'm using, or you can use pencil eraser as well. Now this is a darker blue pencil I'm using. Let's have a look how the color is going to be. Since this is more about creativity. Where and how you're going to put different colors, highlights, and the shade. It can be your choice. Your own imagination. Now with our polychromy, former castle pencils do blue series. You can find different range of it in New York color charts which are Renfrew them at the beginning of this course. And you can see, I go through the main lines, the outlines of the leaves. These four is quite important because when you create lines, during calls, all those details that needs to be drawn on our lives. Two lines to strokes. They need to be different length and they should not all be the same size and exactly the same place. You can see one of them, they are close to each other, one a little further away. Different position. Do practice this few times because each of them, how different they are. And also for the loyally. The same way. Now we did different color. Maybe blue. If you cannot use the lighter blue and go on the lines. Maybe a little next to the lines and sometimes underlies, so make your way onto each line that you have already drawn. And sometimes in between them. After we are done with the lower lip outlines, the lighter colors, I'm going to go in between the lines. Now for more details. After this part, I'm going to zoom in a little so you can have a better feel for lines, details that we are going to draw onto this design. So I'm almost done with the light-blue color were around. Have a look how slowly I'm creating smaller lines. So we'll try. Each line would be different size and different places. Take your time when you're doing this. And then we have circular motion. Start coloring in between them. Don't add too much pressure as much as you give enough Connor onto the surface. You can see I'm adding ink, darker color, darker blue in between the lines. I'm using four different colors only for this small part. So you have to do the same thing for almost the whole area. Let's continue with the lives. And slowly we're going to go through the left part. This is like drawing a circle with the drops near deadlines, all of us, the dark earth. And then slowly you go inside the lighter colors doing the same details. But the less of the lower lip. Choosing what kind of colors you're going to do this depends on you. I chose it to be blue. You can make it any other color that you want. After this, I'm going to go in-between defeats. And with our charcoal pencil or black pencil or even marker, if you have, you can darken in-between area. So make sure you're either pencil or here is charcoal. Pencil is sharp enough. Do it slowly. So you go, if you go out off the line, it might be hard for you to arise it slowly going between and also between the teeth. After this with our charcoal pencil or content themselves, I'm going to go on the upper leaf and then start drawing circles. For this one, I chose circles, but you can choose any other shapes that you have learned in this course. Either pyramidal, concave, convex shapes. We went through all of them. So that's your decision. Different sizes, different shapes. The charcoal pencil, it can be done on this layer because still is only passed a layer. So it's easy. It is for pencil layer. It would be harder for blending the charcoal lines. I'm going to use stump blending. This doesn't have colors, only lens, the charcoals, and also shade the area. After this, the next important part that I want you to notice how I'm going to color inside the circles. So have a look. I'm going to go in between it. There or not, even with two different colors that even have white highlights inside. I'll do it in another way, which is going around the circle and the ovals that gradually go inside have a look. So I'm completing the white part. It's lighter blue. And then a little of it, the same blending. I'm going to go around it and gave cast shadow on there. It's not going inside, but actually outside. And next to the shapes you have learned is also in chapter two. Now it's time to give more details in between. You can do this before or after. Creating and drawing the shapes onto your lips. Strike. I'm drawing really small lines next to the. Main outline. There a little longer lines. But don't make them too obvious. Then be darker blue. Please follow my handlebars how I'm drawing the lines and the strokes. And then practice this few times. Let's look at a normal speed and little. You can see how slowly I move my hands and place every lines. After I think about for I'm going to put them after we feel we have enough lines. Then we're going to start giving white highlights with our white gel pen. Onto the circle shapes. It can be any shape. It can be small dots or lines. Have a look. Quite important to create an broad days. Giving some highlights for the lawyer leap. Again to highlight the shape of the highlight depends on you. After this, I'm going to decide where we are good to start the design and the shapes next to the leaf, either it will be the right side or the left side. If you want to do any shape or any lines for the creative part that depends on us fall. However, if you want to follow this one, this is start doing and practicing after me while watching the screen. And start creating lines next to each other. It's all about connecting them together. In a curvy feeling and shape. That moment. I'm just deciding how and how many of them should be there. Now we're going to start making the lines bolder with the same pencil. This have a look together has been done. Now. We are good to color inside these lines. Then I'm going to use a lighter blue highlight and shiny feeding. So with different blue colors, I'm going to go through all of them. So let's watch it together until this part is done. And also make sure your hand pressure for all of the parts, they are the same. I'm not going to have layering. This, going to go through all of them and blend the colors together. And if they are in-between, just going to make sure there are no extra line exists between them. So I hope you now follow so far in this part you can see I started from the lighter blue and gradually I'm going into the darker blue. This all go back to the introduction part of this course. If you have any questions, please do send me all those questions or watched the beginning parts. So you could practice colored pencil techniques. After this chapter, which we covered eyes and also leaves, we are going to go through different examples. And it will be a little harder and a nice for practice. You're going to implement all the techniques that you have learned into real practice as into real examples such as we are going to draw an ocean, clouds and different birds. All makes things kind of come together. And we're going to learn more techniques and how to put them together. So I hope you enjoyed this episode as well. I'm just going to add the last part, which would be the highlights on the design part from next chapter and also the next episode. I want you to practice more. And if you have any questions before we enter the next chapter, please do send me all good questions and you're all your assignments. So I could see your progress. I'll show you how we can draw the lives for more time. If you wanna do free-hand practice this all walls and silver shapes a lot. And I hope you enjoyed this episode. See you in the next chapter. And buh-bye. 11. Expressive Watercolor Pencils: Hi everyone, Welcome back to another episode of drawing and design and creativity with color pencils. However, instead of color principles today, we are going to use another pencil versions. So as you can see on the screen, these are watercolor pencils. I bought them very cheap. I think it was around two pound or free pound for the whole set. So today I'm going to draw a flower, a blue flower, and also water drops. Then you splash the water next to the either, but in a glass or water drops to splash of those water, you are going to go through how you should draw them. So as you can see on the screen, I'm mixing the colors we have. Since these are watercolor pencils. I'm gonna very fast going to go through the first layer and then the second layer. I don't care about the graininess of the paper because I'm going to use water later on this. So let's have a look. This is the middle part for our Florida drawing good fit. Black. And then the puddles quickly going to go around. If any of you guys don't have this medium and you don't want to actually know a lot about watercolor pencils, since this is a quick example of what kind of pencils they are and how we can actually use them. You don't have to watch this episode. You can move on to the next one. And actually you don't have to buy watercolor pencils because this would be the only episode I'm going to use them is for you guys who asked me a lot about different mediums of watercolor pencils. How many color pencils we have out there. So I included this into our course. As you saw, we are done with the outline. Then quickly, I'm going to go around the edges, the, um, make some use to dark blue. Since this pact that I bought, all, it has light blue and dark blue. We have to use our hand pressure to create the colors more. You can see how I'm going to do the same thing for the wrist. Any kind of picture you creates, you have to make sure they are visible because when you bring the water onto it, they're going to go away. So if the colors, the first layer that you are putting the they're all the same. No pressure. If all the pressures, I mean, they're the same, then you bring the water, they're going to look exactly the same and that's going to come out nice. This is the black pencil that I'm using. All dependent when looks almost the same. It's your decision vary and how you're going to. Change your hand pressure. You can see I'm giving going around in different direction, adding some lines. Let's look at it in normal speed. Can see how slowly I'm moving my hand. But I leave some of the whiteness of the paper to stay. Going to finish this part as well. Walter pencils are quite enjoyable. Since it's a mixture of color. Pencils and watercolor is good that we learned and sometimes use it. So even if you live in like this, it's fine. You can see a really nice drawing for your practice. But later we're going to add the water with a, with one brush to definitely, for example, you need a glass of water and also brush. So I'll make sure I don't bring too much water onto it. Let's have a look at my hand movements. I'm just careful not to go into the blackboard because they're going to smudge all over the blue color. See how slowly moving the brush in a circular motion. Keep adding water. It's kind of a solvent feeling as well. Pirate episode for the background, we will use a lot of solvent. So please look forward to that episode as well. So for this one, I'm careful to go around. And even the water goes out Alexander, you can add another layer so don't worry about that part bringing the blackness until this far. You can compare the part that is still wrong without water and the part that has the water yeah. Applied it. You will continue to go through the other two. Doesn't have a specific technique. It just you have to careful in a circular motion to go around and don't rush it or bringing too much water onto it. Make sure you clean your brush with a kitchen towel. Per tissue that whatever tissue that you have around or even a towel. So going through this part before we start drawing the water drops next to it. So from light color, I've been to darker color as you can see. And then let's add the dot, the details for the inside the flower. For discord. I'm not bring it too much water just enough that I make sure I'm happy with the overall. So for the inside dots, it can apply different by different techniques. First, I'm applying water color, the real watercolor drops. And then the second way is that you can actually apply the watercolor pencil, create small dots, and then go on to water again. You're going to start the water drops. Let's look at it slowly. You can also find the example model, actual model of this drawing onto your assignments. And also other versions of water drops. So if you want to replace this one, you can do that as well. Debate, I'm going to go round and the shaky lines, they're quite important. Since I only have to look colors, I'm going to only use those to mixture of those. Next to the line on drying. Mark darker blue. If you went out practice this fifth normal pencils, please do so. You can also color it inside with your normal color pencils. Instead of watercolor pencils. These are the actual drops, the splash, the friendships. You have learned this in the second chapter. How to go through circles and spheres. So this should be very easy for you guys to do. Just going to speed up a little. I'm adding a little black inside them to those two lines. Later I will add more details, black lines here. Because you want to show that the water just flat is more three-dimensional is you have to add a lot of lines into it. So follow my hand rhombus. Then you'll see how it's going to come out. Again, even for this practice, have a piece of paper and you're even normal pencils ready for your drawing practice. Just adding more drops. Darker blue. Sometimes I bring more pressure, sometimes I lifted or event. Don't draw it. For the front part. I call this front part. I'm going to add a little more color pencils. And then we're going to start bringing the water with the brush tool. We are almost done with the drawing. Let's please add more details and follow my hand movements. For these practice is good that you actually open your assignments and the pictures attached first and then practice. It seems you will see the specific example of water drops and splash there. So you could practice on those at the same time. The Spark you need to focus a little more is quite different from the top part of the splash. Today, I'm going to move dependent cell. Have a look. This is how you should do it. I'm showing you normal speed so you can follow same time. So I'm going to use another pencil, the lighter one, go in between. Just adding a little more drops. Right? Now, as you can see, I started bringing the brush. This is a smaller brush that I'm using with water. It's not the same brush I use for the lava. Going in between. Not going to get rid of all the whiteness of the paper. So we could have enough highlights. You don't have to bring water all around. You can't leave some parts out. Make sure you have enough highlights. When it comes to the black part, just the extra careful not to smudge it all over. It's quite easy parts because they're all the same color. So you can do it faster. I'm adding more water here. And then go on the black part. If you have better vision of watercolor pencils, you will be able to add different color layers with different blue colors. Just quickly going to go inside all of them. If your first layer is good enough to, you can bring the water faster and it will be easier to finish the last layer. So this part, it doesn't exactly have to be this watercolor pencils and this design you can do. Go through the practices I put into your assignments and mix them with your own creativity and imagination. And just bring it a little more like watercolor pencils. To bear in mind. You can also add, again, if you haven't used too much water today, Hey, there. You can add more layers. You're almost done with this episode. I'm just going to add a little more details. So the amount of details you're going to add. Again, it depends on you. So guys, you saw how much details, like details we added. I hope you enjoyed this watercolor pencils episode, which was very quick. And I'll see you in the next episode because we are going to go through a lot of the examples. Take care and bye bye.
