About This Class

Hello dear friends, what a beautiful, beautiful autumn afternoon! Welcome to class. Today we are going to make two kinds of cheese. With such a method, you will be able to make any kind of variety you like.

In my backyard, we have apricot, peach, plum, fig and citrus trees. I make jams and preserves to consume them longer. 

I also make yogurt. With such a combination,  we are going to enjoy flavored cream cheese. This recipe uses drained yogurt which gives a tangent character. It is a healthier substitute for cream. Hope it brings joy to your life.

Make plum jam from your fresh harvest

Here is the recipe for Nutella cream cheese:

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups of homemade yogurt
  • 2 tablespoon of Nutela
  • 1 teaspoon of cocoa powder

Equipment:

  • Cheese clothes
  • Wide mouth bottles
  • Small glass pots with lids

Preparation: 

  • Cover the wide mouth bottles with cheese clothes and fix with rubber bands.  Pour the yogurt in and drain overnight. This will make 2 cups of rich cream cheese.
  • The following day, mix the drained yogurt with Nutella and whisk viciously for 5 to 10 minutes to reach homogeneity. Doing this exercise frequently will help you gain strong arm muscles.
  • Spoon in the well incorporated mixture to the little glass pots, fill to half and shock the pots with your hand to make it even. Dust the cocoa powder on top.
  • Fill the pot till ¾ full. Flat the surface by shaking. Dust the cocoa powder for final touch.
  • Store in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours. The settling time will allow the taste and texture to develop to fullest.
