1. Introduction: Welcome to the course on video editing with Google Wits. This is Benkardesh Amur instructor for this course. Through this course, you'll learn how to use the Google Wits for complete video editing work. At first, you'll see the user interface of Google Wits. Then we'll see how we can manage the uploaded content, how to manage the timeline for video editing work. We'll see how we can manage text, shapes, and audio using Google Wits. Google Wits itself have the A features. We'll see how you can generate the A images, A video. A voiceover and A music generation, and also, you will learn how we can create the AI AvadRs. Apart from that, you will also learn how you can convert the project work from one aspect ratio to another aspect ratio. And also, you will see how you can convert your presentation into video content. At the end of this course, you know how to use the Google Wits at the same time, how you can do the professional video editing using Google Wits. Let us see in our class. 2. Getting Started with Google Vids: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how you can open Google Wits with Browser. So we have two ways to do that. First one, you can come to your Google page. With Google Page, you have this nine dots Google Apps. I choose that option, and with itself, you have the option wits. So you can click here. You can open that Google Wits page or you have another way. You can come to this address bar, and here I'm going to type wits.google.com. You can see ds.google.com. When I type wits doggle.com and press Enter, it will take you to this page dostgogle.com slash VDO. So generally, people will try to add this dotstgoogle.com alone, and you'll get only the Google Docs. So here, you have to mention that wittgogle.com, so it will redirect to this page, or you have to mention that dotstgogle.com slash VDO and sshAZRO. So when I add that, you will have this green on your Centerface. This will be your dashboard for Google Vids. What do you have with this, you start a new video, and if you already opened a new project, those projects will be displayed here as we have Google Sheets and Google Docs. You can also sort it using the sort option. You can have the list view also. So this is how you simply navigate with Google Wits. Either you can use the address bar or you can come to the Google Apps. Here you can choose this wits. 3. User Interface of Google Vids: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how you can create a new video project using Google Witz. After I opened this dashboard, I choose this plus icon. When I choose this plus icon, it will open this welcome screen for you. So it shows you three options here at the top. It shows you the landscape, portrait, and square. So when you are creating the project, that time itself, you can decide what kind of aspect ratio you are required, either a landscape or if you are creating this work for the mobile, you can go for portrateO if you want to use that for social media and mobile and the desktop purpose also, you may suggest, with this one aspect ratio, which is square. So based on the need, you are going to choose which one you want. And with this landscape, you can see, I have the blank video project at the bottom. In each particular category like landscape and portrait and square, you have blank D at the end. But before that, you can see, you have a lot more options out there. We have view 3.1 and AI Odor. You can convert your slides into video. You can record yourself with this user interface. You can upload the existing video and you can do the editing work. And finally, you do have templates. So you can access all those things. In portrait you can see, we have the Vo 3.1 record. Upload. Then we have the square. So I Square, you have only that record and upload, you don't have any other option. So right now I choose this landscape, and here I'm going to choose this option blank video. Let us see how we are using this blank video. So I choose this option blank Wide. So when I choose this blank ID, I got this user interface. So this is the design user interface of Google Wits video editing project. At the top, you can see that file name, so I can provide the name for the particular project work. Like I'm going to add the name Project one or project and your name of the project, I was just adding those things. After that, you have the menu bar, you have file edit view inside. All those men having its own features with the particular menu name. You have toolbox, it shows menos. If you want to find some menu, you can come here and you can mention that menu and search and provide that menu access here. You to have this option, which is new scene, so you are already going to work with the project, and if you want to add new scene, you can use this option. I'll explain this in our coming lesson also. And you to have undo and redo, we have the common shortcut Control Z and Control Y, and if you want to do it manually, you can come to this place and click those buttons. You to have the Zoom in button. You have 15 Window screen. So if you want to reduce the user interface, the project work area, you can use this option fit or minus, or you can increase using this more values. If you want to manually add the values, you can add it. I was added 160, use the keyboard to add the manual values, or else you can use the default dimensions. After this, I have the select option. So if you want to select the elements which I was having with my video editing project, I can use that option. And you have the ad command. Next, we have this video size. I click this video size, so it shows you the landscape 16 dist nine aspect ratio. And at the beginning itself, it shows us and you can select there. And here also, you can change if you want. But I want to keep that only Landscape 16 dist nine, and I choose Cancel since I didn't change that. And apart from that, you have customized styles. So when I click that on my right hand side, you can see, we have the styles. I will explain that in our upcoming lesson, you to have this paint format. If you want to copy the format from one to another element, you can use that option and you have the background access, so you can change the background color as you require. And if you want, you can also go to the background color with gradient. You have multiple colors with the background. You to have the transitions and animations. So when I was adding the elements and multiple scenes shots, I can use these two options at that time itself. So after this menu bar on right hand side, you can see, we have the elements. Those elements will help us to import the stock images, video, audio using Google Vids. We starts with the video, which is a clip generation platform. We have Avatar on voiceover music image, which is representing the Google banana icon, and you can record yourself the video. We have upload, all those things are available. And if you want to draw any shapes, you can use the shape here. To add the text, you can use that text. And at the bottom, at the end, we have the timeline to edit. So we'll use all those functions when we do the video editing work. And on this right hand side corner, as every video production software have, we have the option to play, and we have the option to share those projects with different file format. So this is the user interface of Google Bits. After you access docs.google.com slash N Videos and slash zero, you can create new project with Google Wits, and you will get this, you know, the design dashboard of video editing platform, Google Wits. 4. Access Video Templates: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how you can explore the templates using Google Vids. After created a new project, if you want to access the templates, you can come to the right hand side those icons, and with these icons, I choose templates. I click templates here, so it shows me a lot of templates categories. You see. Now I want to choose any one template, so I choose this template, of the wild. I click that. When I click that, it shows me all the elements which is present inside that particular video template. And this comes under this documentary category. Now, I choose this off shine. At the bottom, you can see, we have inset all scene. If you want to add the particular scene alone, you can choose the particular scene alone and you can drag and wrap with the timeline also. But if you want to use all the scenes, you can come to the bottom and choose inset all scene. So I was added inset all scene. So all those scenes are added with this particular currently opened project to one. Now I'm going to have the preview. So there is no audio here, you can see, we have the video background. We have the text elements. So those things are available here. And there is a transition in between each clip. So that particular template was perfectly loaded with this project. So in the same way, you can load any project work using the Google Vids. I just press do and I come back to the templates again. When you see the top the space of the template, it shows. But I can show that instead of choosing, I can choose a particular category itself. I'm going to choose sale. So I'll have only the sales based design, the templates, the video templates in Google Witz. Now if I choose Finance instead of sales, I will have the finance based, the design. And if I want to choose the HR human resources, I can choose. And apart from that, you have the education category then business. So you can choose teacher to access the teaching material based video projects. I can access the student and you can access this education admin. And there is another most important area at the bottom, which is personal use. So for personal use, also, you can have a lot of templates with this Google Vids. Apart from that, you have the design style. I choose the design style and you can choose minimalistic or modern or organized or professional. Whichever is preferred for you, you can choose that. Like I choose professional and the personal use. I had two projects here. This is how you can access the template if you want to access the particular template, you simply open the templates on right hand side and open the particular template using the search option, or you can select that and if I want to play only one scene from that particular template, I can simply, you know, just double click, and that particular scene will be added, that shot will be added. You can see that. I just double click. Okay, I just click once. So when I click once, I can add that particular design with my Google Bits Video Project. And I can choose this insert all if I want. So this is how we access the template. You can filter based on your requirement using these options, and you can choose the right template. You can input, and you can input the particular scene or all the slide the pages, the scenes, which is available with the template, and you can do the modifications if you want. This is how we use the templates with Google Wits video editing projects. 5. Timeline Management in Google Vids: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how you can use timeline in Google Wits. To show that I'm going to use a video clips from the stock footage of Google Witz, let us see. At the bottom, you have the timeline. This timeline have the present duration as well as the preview of this whole project. At first, you can see, we have the total duration of the video present. And on the slight andside it shows you the total duration of the present, the scene duration. And here we have the play and, you know, pause control for having preview. So by default, when you create a project, you will have this particular object which is called scene. So you can expand the scene duration, you can see, using the edges on right hand side and left hand side, I can expand the total duration of the scene as I required. And when I come to this place, it shows you that video can be up to 30 minutes long. So that was the maximum duration of a single video project, not the video clip. So the video project can have the maximum of 30 minutes, not 30 seconds, 30 minutes. And here I have the segment called Scene. If I want to add more scene, I can add. So using this plus symbol, I can add more scene. You can see that it shows me that new scene, and you to have the shortcut key, which is controlam or command um. So when I click this add scene, you can have a new scene here. And wherever you have the timeline, you can add a new scene, and it will be added after that. So I have added four scenes here. This is scene one, scene two, scene three, scene four. It was like, how do we have different shots of each scene? So now I'm going to add a video files. This time, I'm going to show you how you can access the stock video footage from Google Vids. Access the video clips, I come to the right hand side, and here I have an option called stock and Web. I click that option. So when I click that option stock and Web, it will show you all the stock video files available with Google Vids. So it has different categories with this stock. We have videos. We have stock images, music, stickers, sound effects, Jits and you can also go for Google Images if you want. I come to the top and here I choose this option all. So when I choose this, here it shows you that if you want find a video alone, you can choose video or images alone or, you know, the sound or stickers. So if you want to, you know, mention the particular category project work, you can choose that. And here you can mention what kind of works you acquired. Like, I'm going to provide the details animals. And I press Enter. So it will collect all the stock video footages, which is available with Google Vids, and it was added there. Now I want to add that footage with my scene. I choose the scene one, and here I want to add this particular video clip having 59 second duration. So when I roll over my mouse, I will have the preview you can see. I just click that. So it was added. I just click only once, and it was added with my scene one. Now I just scroll and come to this place can see for the total duration of that 59 seconds, I have this video. Now using this Zoom, I can adjust the preview of the particular timeline. I can either zoom in or zoom out. You can also do the same control using command scroll or Control scroll in this user interface. And here I have particular video clip. And after that, I have another scene. So if I want to add a scene here, I can add another one. So here I have another scene having ten second, 11 seconds of duration. I click that and it was added there. Now I come to this place, here I want to add another one. So I add this scene. And finally, I'm going to add another scene, which is this. So I was added four scenes. This one is having around 62nd length, but this one is 11 and 13. Then we have eight second length clips. Now let us have the preview. I play my timeline needle here, and I play this, have to have the preview. So it shows me that preview of the video clips, the four video clips. And this is the second one. The video, you know, looks very clear the quality. And when it play, it doesn't have any jerk. It plays continuously, and I come to this place. I just pause it. From here, I want to play again. So this is how, you know, we used to add the video footage from the stock using Google Bits. Now, I just close that I was tidded. Let us reduce the duration of this particular video clip. I just want to have only 5 seconds. So I want to choose the most important, you know, seconds from this particular video clip. So I'm going to have from this want to trim here. So to t here, I chose I just right click and here I want to choose the option which is split seen at playhead. So wherever we have a playhead, there we have the split function. I click that. And you can see that previously it has a separate, and now we have a separate section. And in this also, I just need only five second duration, approximately. So I was reducing that. And again, I'm going to add a split. Now I delete this unwanted segment, the long unwanted segment. I rightly and I choose delete option. You can also use, you know, the delete shortcut key to do the same thing. But here I was doing this delete. And at the beginning also I want to select, I press delete key to delete that. Now I come to this place, and here I just want to trim the duration, and here also I want to trim the duration, and here also, I want to trim the duration. So now we have the limited duration, which is almost 18 second duration of the video. Play here. It plays, you know, very smooth way. It doesn't have any glitch. Since it's a full lechery video, you can directly add and, you know, do the editing work without warriors using the Google Wits. So this is how you can add the video clips from the stock, and this is how we manage the timeline using Google Witz. Now you can see at the top, it shows me the option, height timing. And here I have the menu. Now I choose this timing menu, and I choose this off. So when I choose the off, I can switch off the timing. And when I choose this show all timing, it will show the total duration. And when I choose the show timing for selected, it will show only selected, footage timing. You can see that it shows that footage duration. So if you want, you can just go and enable all those things as you required. This is how we have the timeline of Googlewtz. It's easy to handle those scenes, adding new scenes and adding stock video footage from Golewitz. You can also editing trim that split function using this command shift, or you can use this. Then you can simply trim using the beginning and end points. So this is how we manage the timeline in Google. 6. Working with Shapes in Google Vids: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how you can use the other elements inside Google Witz. So first, we are going to see how you can use shapes inside Google Witz. To use that, I come to the right hand side. And at the bottom, you can see we have option shapes and lines. So I choose shapes. When I choose shapes, it shows me the display of shapes which we have with the Microsoft Word and PowerPoint. We almost have the same kind of shapes here with categories. It has draw lines, shapes, arrows, and calots. Then we have the equations. So if you want to add the element, you can add and you can use it properly. Like here, I want to add, you know, the rectangle at the bottom, and I want to mention that animal name. So what I can do, I can add the shape here, I can use the rectangle tool. And when I click the rectangle tool, it adds a rectangle here. I can transform using the transform control from middle and this edge point. I can also scale using corner points. Now after adding that, I want to change the colors of those objects. So when you select that particular object, you can see, we have the properties at the top of this manuba I choose, you know, the object again, and at the top, we have all the properties of that object. Now I choose the fill color option, I can choose which color I want to fill with this particular object, and I don't want the stroke. So I select the stroke, and here I choose transparent. So we don't have a stroke color or stroke size there. Then you can also use the options like border weight and the border dashes, if you want. Now inside, I can directly type my text, which I was required. Before that, I just want to change the color again. And here I want to add the text. So I double click there. When I double click that particular shape, I can add my own text here. Like, I'm going to mention animal name here, I can just as the animal name, have the look. And I choose the text at the top, you have the text color. I can add a proper contrast, I can add the proper styles as it requires. And I can also, change the particular style of the particular font. You can add the calligraphy based style or Serif or Sanserif whichever is looks suitable for that particular project work, you can provide that. Apart from that, if you want to highlight, you can use this highlight color to have the alignment with the left and right and center. And if you have a paragraph, you can use the justify alignment also. Now, we choose left. After that, you have the baseline alignment. You can keep at the top, or you can keep at the bottom, or you can keep at the end. It's up to you. You have the line spacing for the paragraphs and you have the list, this bullets, which means order list and order list, which is numbers. Apart from that, you have intent adjustment decrease and increase. These are the features we have for the selected object, not for all the selected object alone. If you want to add another text box or a shape, I can use this rectangle again and I'm going to reduce the height like I was mentioning my direct name at the top, and here I'm going to mention my scientific the species name. So I can add another shape here, and here I want to change the color. And I'm going to add the text also with this place with black or dark color. So this is how we use the shapes as we required. All those shapes are highly useful, but based on the need, you are going to access and use all those shapes. Now, the same I select all those objects, and I rightly go over there, and I choose this object group. So when I group, I can move those objects anywhere around this particular scene. Now I come to my timeline. I just expand my timeline a little bit. So you can see in my timeline, after that video clip, below, we have option. So this is the place which represents this particular scene, have the multiple layers having object or something else. Now if I want to expand, I cannot expand because this belongs to this particular scene alone, not for all scenes. Now if I want to add more, you know, the shapes to the other scenes, other shots, I can just copy that using lick and copy. Now I come to the next scene, and here I want to paste using file. Edit and I choose paste. So it was copied and pasted. Here, I can add this particular animal name, and I can also add the scientific name at the bottom of the second rectangle. Now I do that same thing in the third also and the fourth shot also. So you can mention that particular name in each and every clip every scene, and we can export that as a separate video. So this is how we use those, you know, the shaves, which is available with Google Wits, and you can create the effective lower third appearances in Google Wits. 7. Text Tool in Google Vids: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how you can use text elements in Google. In our previous lesson, it shows you how you can create and using those shapes based Loyer third. Now I'm going to use the text option directly. So to access that, I just click that TXT, which is text option on right hand side. So when I click the text option, it shows you list of text fields available with Google Wits and it starts with the title and subtitle and body text. If I was having thinking like, I don't want this lower third here, now I can add any one element from this text. Either I can add that title or subtitle, when I click the title, you can see it has the default text style for the particular frame. And if I choose any other element other than the title, I can use the headlines, speakers, phrases, all those things are available with the Google bits. Like, I choose this one, and I'm going to place this particular element on this particular area. I want to delete that, and I'm going to prese this here. Now, if I want, I can also edit the text, or I can ungroup this using Rlik choose ungroup. I can also change the order or color or the text as I required. You to have a lot more options here, like I choose this headlines. So we have so many headlines inside, not only the do review, and in the same way for the speakers also we have a lot more inside. So based on the need, you can choose that text option, and you to have a lot of phrases, and you have a lot of speakers, the headlines, the ordinary title, subheading, and body text. Based on the need, you can use which one you want for your project. 8. Upload custom elements in Google Vids: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how you can upload your own elements inside Google Vids. Now, on your right hand side, you already have one uploads option. So with the help of this upload option, you can access the Google Drive and photos. You can add those elements inside Google Vids and complete the project. But if you want to upload it from your local device, you have to come to the menu. And with this menu, I have the inset menu inside menu, I have an option upload. So you need to choose this upload option. When I choose the upload option, it will navigate my local device, and I had to choose my video file which I want to upload, and I choose this open. So when I choose that, it was uploaded and you can see how it sings and saves with this video. So now I can just place this video wherever I require and I can trim the video using the middle points. You can see how I was trimming. I select this point also. And in the same way you want, it can expand. Now just double click inside the video. So when you trim the video, if you want to manage the position of the video clip, you can use this option, which is just double click and you can adjust the frame as well as the position of the video. So how do you want? You can decide, and you can adjust and you can place that video according to that. This is how you can do that external video uploading process. Now, I choose this video, and I come to this my toolbox. In this place, you can see we have the special options to edit the video. So we have a crop option. Using DoubleClick, we can access that option directly. And you can see we have option here, which is called mask video. So if you want to mask the video with different frames, you can also mask. I'll show you that in our upcoming lesson. And apart from that, you to have this option, reset video. You did many changes, and if you want to reset the video, you can simply click there and you can get all those things got restarted. So this is how we use this restart video, and you have a replace video option. You want to replace the existing video with another video file. You can come here. You can choose upload, if you want to upload from a local device. Use this generated A video clip if you want to generate from this Google Vids itself, it can generate a image and you can access the drive photos and videos, and you can replace with this particular selection. You too have stock and web footage. And if you want to laterally record and you want to replace this video, you can choose the video recording option. But now I'm not going to do that thing. I just want to know everything. And below that, you can see we have edit with transcript option, animation, sound control, and the flavor caption and the option which is showing the format. These are the furthermore options available with this Google Wit video. We are going to use those options according to our need. This is how we input in the video footage inside. We are going to use Upload if you have the object in Google Drive or Google Photos. But if it was not available with local device available, which means you are going to choose this insert and upload option. This is how we import the video clip. We just crop and we can also change the position of the video clip. And if you want, you can also select that video clip, and you can duplicate any number of clips as you require. So this is how we use the video clip from external using Google. 9. Video Format Settings: In this lesson, I'm going to show you what are all the video adjustment options, the format settings available with Google Bits. So to do that, I select this video, and below, I have option called Edit with transcript. So if you already have the transcript here and if you want to edit according to that, you can use that option. But here I don't have any transcription. You have the animation option. So if you want to animate this element alone, how do we animate the elements in Microsoft our point? You can use this option. And here you can see, we have a scene and object. So if you want to add animation for the entire scene, can use the scene, like I choose this classic and you can see that all those things are getting animation. They choose soft and bold and playful. So based on your need, you can choose which one you want. That's why we have this option scene. Now, instead of scene, if I want to add that effect for only selected object, I can select the object, and here I can choose in actions, which is objects. So I choose this one and you can see that animation was executed only by this loop option, which is the object option. So I choose a slide or I choose this pop. So that works in a perfect way. I do have another option called loop, which means forever, that animation will be displayed with your video or presentation. That is called loop. So you have Enter and exit and photo effect, then we have a loop also. This is how we use this animation feature with Google Witz. After the animations, we have the sound. I click that, so I can access the sound effects and other details here on my right hand side. Here also we have two tabs, this track or all track. So either you can adjust this track alone or you can apply that for all the tracks. Right now, I don't have any audio track here. In our upcoming lesson, I will show you how you can use that option. And after the sound, we have the playback option. I click that. So with the playback action, it shows where you want to start and where you want to end. Like, I want to start with the fourth second only, and I need to show only 1 second of this shot. So what I can say that is I want to show only from the four to 5.8. So that duration of that particular video clip will be automatically adjusted based on my requirement. I can also loop this video clipping if you want, so that it will play again and again and again. So this is how we use this now the playback option using this Google Vids. Finally, I have format option. So here I have the size and rotation, the values, so you can adjust the width and height according to your need. You can also use this lock aspect ratio if you want to maintain the particular aspect ratio for that video clip, and you can enable and disable the scale object function. And below, I have a position. And mentioned where I need that particular element in a center or top left, or I can mention the details here in X and Y coordinates. And I have the drop shadow. So when I enable top shadow and I increase opacity, I increase the distance, you can have the view of the shadow at the bottom here, you can see that. And apart from draft shadow, I come to this text. So using this text, if you want to mention what element you have placed here, when it was missing, that text will be displayed on the particular elements design area. That's why we have text, alternative text. Most of the time, we use the alternative text because if the source image or video is missing from the project, it's not easy to find the detail which particular video file is there before it was got edited. We always recommend you to mention the particular elements detail here. The basic details like what kind of element it is, what it is. That's how you can provide the details with this particular option all text. We have the advanced option also, and it shows added title to our image. So if you want to add the image title, you can use that option. So these are the adjustment options, the customized options have with Google Wits for video editing work. So these are the customized options available with the Google Wits for video editing process. 10. Record in Google Vids: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how you can record your own screen, your web camera, your audio using Google Vids. To do that, I come to my right hand side. Here I have option record. Before access the record option, I want to add one new scene, so I place my timeline needle at the end, and I choose this new scene. Now in this new scene, the blank scene, I'm going to record video. So for record, I use this option record. When I choose record, it shows me the record option for all scenes and current scene. I want to do this with only current scene. And at the bottom, it shows me the recording options. It shows me camera first. So if I want to record camera alone, I don't want to record anything else, I can choose camera and I can start recording and I can record myself alone from the camera. And I have option called camera screen. So when I choose camera screen, it will record the entire screen or the particular window itself. At the same time, it will record myself also. So I can be a small icon and will be on the screen itself. I can explain and I can show the content also to the user. And the third thing I have with this Google Bits is screen. So if I don't want to show myself or I don't have the web camera, I can use the screen alone and I can generate the video content using Google Bits. The fourth one is voiceover. Even if I don't have any visuals, I need to record only the voiceover. I can use this option voiceover. So after choosing that record option, I choose start recording. So when I choose start recording, it shows me what you need to record, whether you want to select a particular tab to record like this, or you need to select the window from the opened one you need to record the entire screen. You can choose which one you want to work. I'm going to use this option, which is that selected taf and I'm going to use this option which is share, so that will be recorded. So let's see how it works. And if you want to record the entire screen, like you are doing a game and you want to record the game play, you can use that option, which is entire screen. Same time, if you have already opened another software and you want to share that software alone, you can use the Window. And here I have the Chrome tab. I was opened that and I choose share. Again, I come to this record option, and I choose the screen and I chose Tot recording. This time, I'm going to use the entire screen, not just that. I chose I need the system audio also, so I enable the audio and I choose share. So now I'm going to do this manually. I just click this option record. So I was recording, and I was just unmuted my audio, and here it works. I was visited this page, and this page audio should be muted. So after you just completed your work, choose this option inset. So when I choose inset, that particular video clip will be added with this scene. Here I can just split how much duration I required and those unwanted segments using our split option. So I use split C at Playhead, and I can delete those unnecessary areas. So this is how we can simply record. We can record anything like camera and camera on screen alone, or voiceover alone, and you can record the entire screen, the windows, all those things. And you can use this record option to do the project work with Google Vids. 11. Add Transition in Timeline: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how you can add video transition in Canva. So when you add each and every scene in between, you can add a scene transition. So to do that, I come in between these two scenes, and here you can see, we have a small icon which shows add transition. I click that option. When I click, it shows my basic transition on my right hand side. So I can use whichever that particular transition I want to add with that timeline videos. So here I just drag and drop and I come to this place. I want to choose this particular place for the transition. I choose which transition I want to add. When I add the transition, you can see that clearly. It shows the total duration of the transition which is applied, and you can see here it was marked with the blue line. Now, if I want to reduce the duration, I come to this place, it shows 1.5 second duration. I can reduce that, and there is a change with that particular color. So if you want to adjust the transition duration, you can adjust using this option duration. And now let us have the preview here. So this transition is not the right one. But I was applied for here, it's okay. And for this place, it was entirely different. So this is how we add the transition. You can also use this option here or add the transition, which is Console ult or 12. Work with Audio File: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how you can do the audio editing and functions using timeline in Google Vids. Let us see. To do that, first I want to upload a audio, so I go to my inset. Here I'm going to choose Upload. And through this, I'm going to download some audios from my device. So here I have one track. I was choosing that I choose Open so wherever I have my timeline needle, there I can add my audio, I press Control Z, and I want to delete those recorded tracks. So to do that, I want to come to this inset option. In inset, I'm going to choose Upload. Here I'm going to choose the audio file and I choose Open, and I choose Open. So when I choose open, I will get the audio on a separate track where I have my timeline needle. So here I move my timeline needle to the beginning, and I can select the audio and rack and drop where I need. In the same way we manage the video clip. I can trim from the beginning and end for the audio clip. Now I just move in place where I have the beginning. Let us have the preview. And before going to make the preview, I select the audio, and I have three options here to edit the audio, edit with the transcript, and we generate voiceover, and we have sound. So here I'm going to use the sound. So when I choose sound, it shows me the volume. I can mute. I can add the fade in and fade out if I want. So right now, I'm going to reduce the volume, and I'm going to have the preview now. So if I want to sync the background music, I can trim like this will provide the better impact with the videos. So let's see now. So a little bit I move on this side, and here I want to expand this. So you can set the audio properties as you required. Now I want to add another audio track. So what I do here is I just place my timeline needle here. I choose Inset, upload, and here I'm going to choose the second audio track. I choose Open now. So it was added in the same track, you can see. Now, I just click and track, and wherever I want to move, I can move and I can place where I required. So this is how you use the audio tracks. So here it has the full amount of audio and I just choose and I want to reduce the volume level. Now this is the final loud food. Okay. So I was made that into zero. Now it'stt. And at the beginning, if I want to add the fade in, I can add. I want to increase the volume, and I add fade in and you can select the duration of the second. I choose one fine, five second or two second. Fine. Let us have the preview now. So it slowly rise. The same way, you can use this fade out also. I set the value as I require. Let's have the preview now. So up to that video, I have the preview. I delete the previous track, and I move this track to the beginning and let us hear that fade out. Anyway, that sound was finishing there, but still we have added that fade out. So this is how you can insert the audio from your device. You can add, you can edit, and at the end, you'll have the result with video. 13. Creative AI Usage in Google Vids: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how you can use the A features in Google Wits. Since it's from Google, you can access all the Google A features. Now, to use the A feature, I come to my right hand side. 1-5, we have all the options, which comes under this A usage. Using video, you can generate a video. Using this Avadar you can create your own Avador. Using voiceover, you can generate the voiceovers and A. Using music, you can generate the music. And using these images which have that banana icon, you can generate the A images. So let us see how we can use all those things. I'm going to start with generate an image, so I click an image. So when I click that, it loads me, generate an image. That title, and below, we have the generator images, which have the tag. You can see how we have a tag there. So you can reuse the prompt if you want. That's why we have the tag out there. And if you want to reuse, you can simply choose this reuse prompt. Now, below that, too, you have a lot of prompts. You can also choose your own prompt here. You can choose the style. You can add your aspect ratio if you want. Now I'm going to reuse. So here I'm going to copy this reuse prompt. It was added here. And you can see that the details are provided here. And with this, I'm going to change a few options. Like they mentioned what are all the things out there, that tomato at the top. And here I'm going to, you know, add the detail, which I'm going to add banana, yeah. So was added banana and olive oil, it's fine. Slice, yellow pepper. I'm going to choose that white pepper. And cucumber, instead of cucumber, I'm going to use jackfruit. Oh lime. Okay. So instead of that, I'm going to use papaya. And avocado. Then brazil leaves. I'm going to use name leaves. And apart from that, and here I have olives and milk cubes. So instead of milk cubes, I'm going to add chicken cubes. So the background is light yellow. Fine. I'm going to provide this create option. So I was modified the prompt and I chose create option. Based on that, it will change that structure of the picture, the elements which should be added inside the picture. Now you can see how it was generated. Since I was expected that, you know, light yellow background, it has a light yellow background. Now, if you want to insert this image, I can come to this place, inset image, and I got the image here. You can see. I got all the details which I was asked. I had a chicken and I had, you know, the papaya banana, and I do have the other options which I was asked. So this is how the name leaves, you can see that it's so clear. So this is how we can use this AA image feature in Google Witz. Now I'm going to choose the next one. So I close this and I to have the music. So if I want to generate the music, I can come to this music. We can generate your own a music for the background, and you can provide the prompt and you can choose the duration, whether it is a 32nd or full song. You can select that, provide and generate, and you can use the music for the background. In the same way, you have the voiceover with AI. I choose voiceover, and here I had to provide the content, the script for generating that as a voiceover. And here I have voice, which is Nyla and soft and higher pitch. If I want to change, I come here, change. I can choose whose voice I need. So after changing that, after adding the script, I can choose this option inset voiceover. So that voice will be added with my timeline here. So this is how you can use this A voice generator. When it chooses all scenes, for all scenes means you can see that we have individual clips. So for all scenes, I can individually add that script for each and every scene, you can see that and I can generate. So that for all scenes, I can generate the audio and I can insert to all, you know, the particular scenes. So this is how the A voiceover works. You can also generate your own video avator and that Avatar will be present with this scene itself. In the same way we generate the voiceover, you can generate the Avador individually for the current scene or for all scenes you can generate. The most important thing with the Google Vids is the video and using the video generation feature, you can do any work which is provided by the Google View. Here I have the category. I can start from the scratch. That is the first one, or I can animate an image. So I can choose one image and I can animate using this option. And here I want to choose the image and I want to provide the prompt, and I can choose this generate. It will be generated in the form of video. And if I want to start from the scratch, I can choose create start from the scratch. And here I need to mention how I required that change with this. So I have to do things, I have to provide the Avadar and I want to add the ingredients so that based on the reference, that new video will be created from scratch. So this is how it works, and here they provided one, you know, example inspiration here. When I roll over my mouse, it will, you know, show that audio also. Sun, maybe with its own worlds. What do you imagine? Look at this. Trillions of stars. Breathe in the present moment, a wave of calm and light. So all those things are completed using Google Vids 3.1. And here also, you can choose that particular option, and it shows you what kind of video quality you will get also. So this is how we can use this A feature in, you know, Google Vids, based on the need you can use whether you need to generate an image or generate a music or voiceover or Ava or vio whichever you want, you can use and you'll get the result as you required. 14. Video Placeholder in Google Vids: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how you can use video placeholders Google Vids. If you want the video particular frame inside the shape, you can use this option video placeholders. To access Video Placeholder, I come to my Inset Meno. In Inset Meno, I have the option video placeholders. I click this. When I click, it shows me what are all the video placeholders available with Google Vids. So I choose the right one which I require. Like, I'm going to choose this rounded rectangle. So I got that video placeholder here. Now I adjust the size as I required. If I want to adjust the width and height alone, I can also adjust that. And at the same time, you can adjust the corner radius value using this small diamond which is present at the edge. Now, after you reshape all those things, you can place where you want. And inside this, you have two icons, select a video, record video. So if you want to directly record using your web camera or actue may capture card, you can use this option record video, or if you already recorded and you want to place inside, you can use the select video. I choose Select video, and it shows me five options I can directly upload from my local device. I can use the A generation video, which is I can generate right now, and I can use this generate an image to generate a image. I can access my Google Drive photos and videos and I can add inside. And finally, you to have the stock and web video. Right now, I was choosing this stack and web video, and from this, I'm going to add a video clip. So I'm going to choose this video clip. I click once. So when I click once, that video clip will be automatically added inside. And based on that particular video clip, the total duration was increased. Now, I just reduce the duration of this particular scene. I just trim that as I require. Now you can see that the girl was not at the center of the frame, the placeholder. So I want to keep her center. To do that, I just doubl this video placeholder and you can see the complete video. I can move and I can set where I need. And if I want to enlarge the particular video size, I can increase the dimension. And I can leave it. I click outside, so I can leave it. Now, I have a preview. Okay, still, I have some space out there. That's why we have that white area. So this is how you can simply place your video play solder inside, and you will have the video with the placeholder itself. Now, I just move and reduce the duration. So let us have the preview now. So I choose the video play solder now. And after choosing that, I come to my properties. In these properties, if you want to change the border we, you can use this option. I choose this and I choose the border, and we can see we have a border here. Now, I can change the border color also. So based on the need, you can choose which one you want. And again, I'm going to have the preview. We can see how do we have the border? And also, I'm going to change the stroke style. I choose dotted one. So here I have the dotted border. You can see the preview here. So this is how you can use the video placeholder. You can simply add the placeholder and you can sue the source and you can add the video. You can trim the duration if you want. You can add the borders also using Google Bits. 15. Change Video Size While Editing: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how you can change your Aspect ratio when you are doing the video editing project work. To do that, I come to this toolbox. In this toolbox, I'm going to choose this option video size. I click Video size, so it shows me that right now I was having sixteens nine aspect ratio with landscape mode. I choose that and I choose this option square, which is having On Stone aspect ratio. So when I choose that, it shows you when you resize the content will be adjusted and you'll probably need to make a few edits. Let's aplay them. So the same project, it was resized according to my need, and it was getting adjustments. And if I want to do the same kind of change with the vertical display, I come to this video size again, and here I want to choose this portrait, and I choose a play. So now we have the appearance with the video display, and you can see we have different different elements. You have to adjust all those elements inside. So now I come to this place just delete that frame. And here I can adjust my video as required, so I can crop that particular source. I was not scale. I was simply crop and later only I'm going to scale if it requires. Now, I come to here and I was adjusting the video size. How do I want? And here also, if I want, I can adjust as a required. I can change the position if I want. So this is how we manage those works. I select all those elements here, and I group this again, and I can resize, how do I want? So if I do this kind of video size change, I can do this at any time with this video editing project, but you have to a up this. You can change the video size, but later we need to adjust the video frames according to that particular video size. So this is how the video size change works with Google Vids. 16. Convert Your Slides into Video Content: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how you can convert your presentation into video. To do that, I start a new project. With this new project, I'm going to do that work. So in this, you can see we have option here, which is convert Slides. So I can directly convert my slides into video. I choose this Convert Slides option. So after choosing that Convert Slides option, it will open my Google Drive, the recent documents. And if you want to upload, you can use the upload option, you can upload it from your local device. Now I choose my reason, and here I'm going to have a presentation. I choose my presentation or I choose Select. So when I choose my presentation, I choose Select, it shows me the option here. It shows I have the 12 slides with the presentation. You can see all those slides. And here I have a A feature, which include A, voiceover script, background music, and animation. And by default, it will be enabled. If you want, you can disable that or you can keep it enable and I can choose Next so that all those things will be added according to that. Now, if you want to add your voiceover manually, you can also do that. But right now, I can choose next. So it was simply generating the voiceover. It's a A voiceover. You can see that. Based on the content, it's going to prepare that. And I'm going to create that draft video. So it was preparing according to that. So it's easy. You can prepare your presentation using Google presentations. And after that, you can just come to this Google bits. You can choose a presentation and you can enable the AI, so it completely generate all those information which is required. So now I'm going to have the preview. You can see it was generated that narration audio, and we have two audio tracks. The total duration is 2 minutes and 30 1 second. So let's have the preview. It to added transitions Welcome to this video on visualization, a powerful tool for manifesting thought into reality. Creativity is the ability to generate innovative ideas and bring them to life. Once considered a trait of the divine, it is now recognized as a vital human capacity driving art, science and innovation. Creativity manifests in various forms. There are four key creativity profiles that help achieve different goals. Incubate for long term growth, imagine for breakthroughs, improve for incremental changes, and invest for short term results. Design thinking is a creative good, you can see it shows me two audio tracks. One is that background music. Another one is the narration. And we have a separate track for the visuals. So it's easy. You can create the complete, you know, the presentation with the A support, and you can have the complete video using Google Vids. Now, if you want to add your own narration, you can simply remove that particular narration, the AI narration, and you can use your record option. You can use the voiceover, and you can record and you can add your voice itself for this particular video presentation. This is how you can convert your presentation into video using Google Vids. You can also customize your voice if required. 17. Export your Project as Video: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how you can export the edited video from Google Wits to the final output. So to do that, I opened a project, and after opening your project and did all those modifications, I come to my right hand side, and here you have the play option. So through this, you can have the preview. After having the preview, I come to this players share and if you want to share this with anyone email ID, you can use this option share. So as we share the Google Drive files and Google Docs, it works, so you can share that particular project with anyone. So I choose share and you can share this project with anyone who have the email heading. Now I have another option here, which is quick sharing actions. I choose this arrow. When I choose arrow, I have five options here, so I can either copy link and share with someone, I can export to the Google Drive or another drive, or I can directly export to the YouTube from this Google Vids. I can download as MP four file and I can download as a Jif animation. Here I chose this download as MP four file, and it shows you that the download process was initiated. It was downloading. The total duration of this video is around 8 seconds. You can see that. Based on that audio track, I was reduced each and every video clip duration. So for the eight second, yeah, it was completed. I'm just opening that So it looks really clear. We got all those things audio, video, and the elements we have used, and we to generated the AA image with the prompt, we modified the details, and those details are really updated here. So this is how we are going to do the video editing work with Google Vids can do as your requirement. 18. Simple Promo Project: In this lesson, I'm going to show you how we can do a small project for video editing using Google Vids. To do that, I'm going to create a new project, so I start a new video. With this, I'm going to do the simple promo creation. So to do that, I choose landscape. I don't need a portrait, and I need blank video. So I choose blank pid. So I got a new blank video. Now let me show you what are the files I'm going to use. To show that, I just come to this inset, and here I choose the upload. When I choose upload, it shows me all those files I'm going to use to upload here. So I was having the video footage from that tennis court. And I have audio file here. I had three audio files, going to use the right one for doing this video editing work. Now, let us input all those audio files. So I input first one. You can see that the audio is there going to play this. And before that, I just expand the duration till my audio filing. So here I'm going to have the preview now. So it was a bit louder. I can change the audio property. I was reducing the volume up to 16 and you can see the beat, it was very fast. So let us see the other two also. And now I just place my timeline needle here. I'm going to place the next track. I choose Insert and I choose upload. I choose a second one. And I choose the file and I reduce the volume 100-50. Now have the preview. Okay, so I want to expand the duration. Yeah, just expand. Yeah, this was really good to compare the previous beat. So I select the previous beat and I delete that. And we to need to check the third beat also. So I choose inside and I choose Upload again. And here I'm going to choose the third beat. Let us have the preview, and before that, reduce the volume. And also, I want to increase the duration of that audio track. Yes, I was increased. I'm going to have the preview now. So this is fine, but, you know, for this promo, I don't think that will be the app to one. So what I'm going to do is I'm just delete that particular track. We are going to use this particular track only. So I just zoom in and I reduce the duration of that video clip. So this will be the maximum duration of our video clip. It will be 14 seconds, like 14.5 seconds. Based on this only we are going to do the editing work. Whenever you are doing the project work, first, you choose the right audio track for your video. So when you have correct audio track, and you have added that in a timeline, now I'm going to divide how many shots are required for this audio. So here I need two video tracks. You can see video files, the shorts, listen. So here I want to add a split, so I can either rightly here and I can choose the split scene at play here or I can use the shortcut key Control shifts. So I divide here. I'm going to have the preview again. So if I want, I can also adjust the duration. I just want to increase a little bit. So here I want to stop again. I want R split. So I press Control shift as. So when I do that, control shift as, I'll get the split. So I got the second split here. I'm going to have the preview again. So here I'm going to have the third split. Then I'm going to have the fourth one. So here I want to add another split. Then this is the final report. So there you can add some more graphics about the title of the event, all those things. So let's have the preview again. So this is how we are going to have the scene. And you can see that I need four shots, one, two, three, four, and here I want to add the title of the event. So this is how we have five shots with this promo, and the total duration of that promo is highly, you know, holy 15, not 15, 14.5 seconds only. So if you want, you can increase one or 2 seconds as you required for the video, you know, the promo work. Now, I'm going to add the shots. So going to have the view now. I choose Upload, and I come to this, you know, the project, I choose video. You can see we have different video files. So we have, you know, the male candidates, you know, ready to play that attendees ball, and the female candidate is also there. So you need maximum four shots before adding the title. And for the title background, I can use this particular shot, you know, as the transparent one. So let's see what we can use here. So I'm going to use this shot first. I choose that and I choose open, and I'm not going to use this here. I just Command Z or Control Z. I need to use that for the first scene. So I choose that again, and I choose insert, upload, and I'm going to choose the same shot. So it automatically increased the duration of that particular renuclap. But anyway, I can adjust that based on my need again. So previously, you can see that it has only 2.7 second duration. Now, after that, based on the duration of that video, it increasing that particular duration. You can see that. But now what I do here is I just reduce just trim that, you know, till 2.7. Now, you had to select the shot. So I just double click there and you can choose what kind of shot you require. So here you see here. So if you want to do any change with the shot, yeah, you can do. For that, you just open the entire shot again. Just expand that duration of the shot, and you can select which is the right one. So anyway, he is not going to play that complete shot. I'm going to use the same duration I was editor. So here I'm going to use another shot. So I use insight and I use floor and I'm going to choose that you know, I already use that person, so I can use another person here. I'm going to use him not him here. So I need that shot for the 5 seconds, not 5 seconds, 3 seconds. So I insert again. That shot which I was required. So from this video clip, I want to select only 3 seconds. So I'm going to use from here. So we're going to select the right one. I need three second of that video, and I delete that previous one. And from the beginning, I'll trim little bit. So it starts this place. And I need only 3 seconds, as I told you, so I reduce 1 second here after she hit that ball. Now I'm going to have the third shot and fourth shot. As I told you the fifth shot, I'm going to add the background. So I'm going to add the third shot now. So I go to the insert and upload. Now I'm going to add another person. So I'm going to use this one. So here also, you can see, I need 2.8 seconds only, not, you know, above that much. So I just choose file menu. And okay, here I chose Undo. Okay, I chose redo. I did some corrections. Yeah. So here I need only 2.8 seconds. So I choose insert, upload, and I choose the same footage, but I need only 2.8 seconds. So I just have the preview now. So I'm going to use that beginning shot. So from this place, I want to do that. I right click there, and I choose split, and here I want to delete that. From this, I need 2.8 seconds. Let's have the preview now. So here I need to add one shot. So the duration is, you know, 1.9 seconds. So I choose that inset again, choose upload. And from this, I'm going to use this one to go, you know, just showing their face. You know, just stay there to pause after or before they start their work, the game. And at the end, I'm going to add that ground. So I'm going to choose this one. And the total duration is only 4.2 seconds. It should not be more than that. So I increase. So in this, I choose that file. And as I told you, it should be only 4.2 seconds, not over that. So I want to show that ground alone, and I was reducing the duration, which is 4.2 seconds. Now, let's have the preview from the beginning. It's just a rough cut. So here I'm going to add that title of that event. So I have the video here. I choose the background now. And here I come to this place background. I can choose whichever the color I want. I use this picker custom color, and from this itself, I want to select the color. So I was selecting the color from this picture itself. And here again, I'm going to drag and drop that. Now I just select that video, this particular footage, and you have all the properties at the top, you can see, starts with replace video reset and crop, all those properties available there. So if you want to do any change with that, you can do that there. Now, I come to this place. Here I want to add the title of this particular, you know, that event, whether it is a tournament or whatever it is. So since I need a title here, I want to add that text. So since we already know that there are so many text styles that are already out there, if you want, you can directly use which one you want. Like, I'm going to use this one. And just imagine this will be my title of that event. I right choose ungroup, and I can customize the text, square. Like, I'm going to choose the text now. So I just added Au open that, you know, will be the title of this particular program. And I choose all those elements, and I can use the animation option. I can use whichever the animation is suitable for that particular. So after adding that, you can set the duration also if you want. So after adding that, I come to the beginning and I play this. So in this way, you can simply combine all those shots you have and you can add the title of the event and you can complete the entire work using Google Bits. Now remember, whenever you're using, you know, all those things, you can also use the transition as you required. If you want, you can go for that. Otherwise, you can use a simple cat as we have. Most important thing about this video editing work is we select the right background, the score. Without that, it's not possible. So you always find the right score first. Then you are going to assemble the video clips with the rough cut, and you're going to add the graphics Finally, you're going to complete the project and you are going to export. So I'm going to export this now. I come to this option share that arrow, and I'm going to choose this download as MP four. So you can see that, you know, it has around 14.5 seconds only. So it'll take only very limited amount of time to complete the work. So this is the final output. Let us have the preview. So it's easy. You can simply do the rough cut, add the graphics and animations, and you can export that as a video. So this is how you can simply do any video editing project work using Google Vids.
