1. Introduction: Welcome to the course
on Canva Workspace, transforming productivity
with Doc sheet and presentation in Canva. Myself, Bangladesh, I'm your
instructor for this course. I am a multimedia instructor
for past 20 years. In this course, you are going to learn the Canva user interface, how to use Canva Docs
over the Google Doc. What are all the advantages
we have with Canva Docs, how to use the Canva
Sheets with A features. To use the Canva Presentation, how to share your presentation
around the world. What are all the different
presentation methods we have with Canva Presentation? How to manage your
files with Canva, as we manage with Google Drive, how to plan your content, how to schedule your all
design automation posts with social media using
Content Planner and Canva, how to manage the team and share the files within
a team using Canva. How to generate the file
outputs using Canva. At the end of this course, you'll have the alternative for Microsoft Office and
Google Workspace. Throughout this course, you will learn the Canva Workspace. At the same time, you will know everything about
the Canva usage. Let us see in our class.
2. The Workspace of Canva: In this lesson,
I'm going to show you the use or
interface of Canva. So when you sign in or sign
up with your Email ID, at first, you will
get this screen. So this is the dashboard or
user interface of Canva. In this user
interface at the top, you can see we have
a banner area. With this banner area, we
have incident search option. With the help of this, you can
search your project works. You can search your designs, you can search your folders, all those things, what you
have created with Canva. Below that, you have the new
document creation process. You have a new presentation
creation option, social media design option, video document,
Whiteboards sheets, all those things are
available there. And if you want to access
more template categories, the new document categories, you can go for this option more. And here you do have
a custom size option. So if you want to mention
a different dimension other than this templates, you can go for this custom size. And after this banner area, you see what's new with Canva. So a Canva update
every time every week, every month, they provide
new features for the users. So the new features,
which is added, the templates added
will be displayed here, and it's easy to accept those,
you know, templates also. And apart from
that, it shows you the recent designs you have completed with Canva
at the bottom. On your left hand side,
you have a toolbox. And with this
toolbox at the top, you have the open menu option. So when I open this menu, it shows you the list of project files you have
created using Canva. And if you want, you
can go for this close. You can say at the bottom, you have the trash icon. So with the help of
this, you know, trash, you can find what are all the files you have
deleted previously. And if you want, you can
restore those files also. Now after that, you have
to create new options. So with the help
of this, you can create any new
document with Canva. I'll explain this in our
upcoming lessons detail, and we have a home icon. So with the help of this home, I can bring my, you know, window with the home
screen wherever you are, and I have a classroom option. So if I have a teacher account, I can have this
classroom option here, and if you want to create
and manage the classrooms, I can use this option. And after that, I
have the projects, so I can access all my projects I have created
using this option. And we have the templates. I can access all the templates of Canva using the templates. When you click there,
you can see it just load all the categories
of templates here. Like I'm going to choose
the Instagram story here, so it will load all
those templates which is available with Canva. And you can see that it to
have different categories. So this is how these
templates work. And we have the brand option. So if you have the company
and you want to upla that particular company's
logo, brand image, font, colors, all those
things for the design, you can set up your own company with this brand and
you can use it. After that, you
have the Canva AI. So if you want to
produce text images, videos with the help of Canva, you can use this Canva AI, to have the print
shop and more option, you can access a lot
more options with Canva. At the bottom, you can see,
we have the account settings, so you can manage your account and you have the
notifications panel here. So this is a user
interface of Canva. With the help of
this we are going to do all those
works with Canva.
3. Canva Doc over Google Docs: I. In this lesson, I'm going to show you how to use the Google Docs alternative,
which is Canva Doc. In the same way we
use Google Docs. We can use the Canva Docs. Let me show you how to use that. So to access that on
your home screen itself, you have the dog option. You can also access this
option using Create and you can choose Docs.
So what's the difference? Here, when I choose the dogs, I will automatically
get the new document. But when I choose this Create
button and I choose Docs, it shows you a lot
of different works what I can create with Canva. Right now it shows you
Doc digital auto size. And when I choose video, you can see it shows
you a lot of options. The same way, you
can also access the other alternative options which is available with Canva. So right now, I'm
going to choose this Doc digital Autosize. I just click once, so you will
get the new document here, and with this new document, you can have all the access
of the Canva elements. At first, when I
choose that option, here we have a default screen. It shows you the plus icon. So when I click
that plus or when I press this slash
button on my keyboard, I can access this option, which is Instant search
or quick access. So with the help of that, I can access that a writing feature, which is Magic Write, or
I can access the design. I can choose the
scrollable design, which means when I create
the complete page, I can convert that
as a scroll design, like we have a web page. I can add heading
one, subing one, all those styles, the body
also. I can add the table. So all those things
which I require, I can add using this
option, quick access. And by default, the
way you can use this particular
that Canva Doc is, you can directly add
the text what you need. For example, I'm going
to add time table. So that match simple it is. And I'm going to mention
acrmic here 2026 27. And I'm going to make the
alignment for the text, and I'm going to
add the table here. So to add the table, as I told you, I
just press slash. And here I have
option called Table. So I choose Table,
and I can choose how many rows and
columns I require. So right now, I just choose u
eight columns and two rows. So if I want to add more, I can simply press Tab key
so that it will be added. You can see that I was at the end of this particular page. I click Tab key so that
I can be, you know, at the end of that
particular table, and it will automatically
add the new rows. So I can select the text. I can select the particular
style what I required, either a H one or H two, that style I required, and I can select the font
style which I require. You can see it's
easy to change that. I can set the font size. I can set the font
color which I require. And I can set the
highlight color, if I want to set some
background highlight color, I can use this option, and I can set the
highlight color too. If it requires, you
can go for that. And I select all those things. Here you can see we have
bold italic underline and strike through those
styles if you want, you can add apart from that, we have the alignment. So if I choose this by default, it will be the alignment
with the left. The thumbnail shows you how
we have that alignment. And when I press once,
it will be the center. If I press again, it
will be the right. Again, if I press, it
will be justified. It's not just a left alignment. It's a justified alignment. With the paragraph, you can have that view in a clear manner. Again, I click and I will be at the left center alignment. Based on your need,
you can choose which alignment you required. So here I need the
center alignment, so I keep with the
center alignment now. And we have the table data here. I'm going to mention that day, and I'm going to mention
Hour one, Hour two. So in that way, you can add data what you required
with the time table. I'm going to copy that, and I'm going to paste with all. And I'm going to
change the data. So this is how it's easy to add, and I can make that text style for that particular column. I can adjust as I require, and I choose all those columns and set that alignment
for the text. So this is how, you know, do the work with the simple dog. You can add the space, and you can see
that when I scroll, it keep on moving. And I was at the end of the table going to add
some dummy text here, and you can see that
it was keep on going. So we don't have such the space like a four
or a three with this Canva. But you can do that
setup with Canva itself. I'll show you now how we
are going to set that also. So since I have seven page, it shows me the scroll
right now, it's fine. Apart from that,
you have the list. So if you want to add
the bullets or number, you can use this and you are options here to add
advanced settings. For example, I'm going to
mention add on paragraph here and choose the
Magic Write option, and I'm going to add some
text information generally. So I just need information
with time table. I'm going to insert this here. Oh, my God, art. Okay, I just stop that and
I just need this alone. So I just copy that and
I'm going to paste here. And you can see I have
some background text. I'm not going to require
that background color, so I choose hilt color, and I chose no highlight. And as I told you, you can see, we have the left alignment, and here we don't have
a proper alignment. When I choose that justify, here I have both, you know, rows having proper alignment
with right hand side. You can see that that's justify. And when I click that again,
it will be left alignment. On left hand side, you'll
have the equal amount of, you know, the space, but here you don't have
and apart from that, as I told you, I have
the option here, which is called
advanced setting. So after choosing
that paragraph, I had to use that so that you can see all those
functions, how it works. So I chose this option. At the top, you can see
we had two options. We do have more options here. At first, you have letter space. So if you want to
manage a letter space, right now, it was zero. I can handle if I want. So this is letter space, and we call it as
tracking, right. And here we have a line spacing. So the leading value we
can set as you required. The need, you can go for this. By default, the
value will be 1.4. And if you want, you can adjust and you'll
get that value here. And apart from that, you
do have more settings. And in more settings,
you can see, we have the formatting
text positions, A to A, and this is normal text. And we have subscript and
superscript also so I'm going to add a square. So I can choose the two and I can come to this formatting, and here I have that option too. So you can see the result, how we have the two here
with my Canva document. So you can do all those
adjustments with this option, which is advanced settings. And you to have a
copy style option. So when I have set
some style here, I'm going to add
some text color, and I'm going to
add some text type. Like I'm going to choose this one I was increasing
the font size. Now I need the same
style here also. So as we do with
normal Microsoft Word, I just place my cursor inside
that particular style, and I choose the copy style, and I place where I
required the same style. So this is how it works. It's simple as we do
with Microsoft Word. So you can copy the entire style and paste wherever you required. So these are the options
we have with this toolbox, which is available with
the document at the top. And on your left hand side, you can see, there
are a lot of options. And if you want to
add some elements, you can go for that. I'm going to add
one picture here. So I'm going to choose
these elements. With these elements, I
have a lot of options. And if you want to add some columns or table
or graphics or photo, ever you require, you can add. Now I'm going to
choose graphics, and I'll have a lot
of clipboards here. If I require, I can
add those things. Like, I'm going to add this. When you click that
picture, it was added here. And when I choose this picture, I have all the properties
of this picture. So I have the options here, and I can select the color. I can change if I want
to change the color. And you to have the options
here for the stroke. I can add the stroke for
the picture if I want, or I can select none. To have in the corner rounding. I have to I can go for that. You can crop the picture, you can flip the
picture if you want. So all those functions are available with this
toolbox itself. So you can just adjust the picture size and I just
increase a little bit. And at the end, you can see
we have the align option. By default, it was center, but you can adjust that you
can place where I required. So this is how we can add
the picture with Canva, and you can also add
some images if you want. So to add that, I
come to this place, and here I choose the photos. I can choose which
one I required. Like, I'm going to
choose classroom. I a lot of classroom
based images. I'm going to choose a one and you can see it was
perfectly added. And it to shows me
that, you know, the colors option, it
detects automatically, and if I want, I can
go for that also. I can do the changes
if it requires. You can see we have the changes, but that affect that picture, so I don't want to
add that right now. So this is how we add,
you know, the text. We add the tables, we add the images. We have, you know,
graphics, all those things. We can use the styles and
other options with Canva, you know, the Canva Doc instead
of using the Google Doc. Now I want to set the page, the page appearances
and the page set. To the page setup, I
come to this file menu, and in file menu, you can see, we have a lot of options. With that, I have
a option page set. You can see that
it's a new feature. Previously, it was
not available, but right now we
can do that work. So I come to the page setup here and it shows me
the different options, not only that Autosiz digital, it shows me A four, it shows me the A
three, legal letter. Those international standard
sizes are available here. So I choose this A four now. And you can see, after
this first page, the F four was completed. Next page was
automatically added, and the third page
is also there. So it's a best thing. Previously, we struggle when we export that document
as that word file, then that time only it will
show that the divisions. But right now we have the page setup option
here with file itself. So I can choose this file menu. I can select this page set that itself have
all those features. So this is how we use that. And if you want to
adjust the margins, all those things, you can use this option,
which is settings. So here it shows you
the margin options. You can go for this,
the show margin, and it will show you
the margin area. And we have the video
playback quality. If you want to add
a video playback, you can also add that. So these are the options we have you know, with this Canva, and you can see this is how
it was looks very well. And if I want to download
this as a Word document, I go to the share and
I choose Download. And here I have PDF
standard option and DOCX, the Microsoft Word document. I prefer Microsoft
Word document, and we can choose either
A three, A four letter, whichever require,
I need A four, so it was selected and I
had to choose the download. Some of the fonts, you know, having the copyright, okay, and doesn't, you know,
display properly fine. I'm going to change
the style here. So I'm going to change this particular style from
font and use the Canva sands. And I'm not to add the same style with
the remaining also. So I was changed, and I'm
going to choose the share, download, and still
has the problem. Okay. Okay, okay.
So it's clear now. I'm going to choose
the background now. So when I chose the
background, you can see, I was choosing the margin area, not that content area. I chose the margin area. I can change the
background color also. So whichever you
want, you choose the light color or dark color,
you can also choose that. Now I go to the share and
I go to the download. And you can see,
it's visible now. Previously, it was disabled.
Now it was enabled. So I chose this
option, Download, and that file was prepared
with a document format. So it was downloaded now, and this is how we
are using Canva Docs. And it's the best alternative
for Microsoft Word and Google Docs when we
have the online platform. We can integrate all media
elements with this Canva Doc.
4. Canva Sheets with AI: In this lesson, I'm
going to show you how to use that Canva Sheets, which is the alternative for Google Excel sheets or Microsoft
Excel sheets in Canva. So in Canva, we
have Canva Sheets. We have that on your
home screen itself, and you can also access
that using Create. And here I'm going
to choose my sheets. You can see we have here
sheets. I click sheets. So it shows me two options, the templates and sheets. And if you want the blank sheet, you can go for the sheet. But if you want to collect some template and you
have to look for that, you can browse templates. So I click templates here and it will load all the templates which is available with Canva. You can see we have a lot
of templates out there. So we have, you know, thousands and lax
amount of templates here based on the need
you can use if you want. Or else you can directly
go for Create blank Sheet. You can use this
templates option also to create the blank sheet, or you can go to the Create
and you can choose sheets, and you can choose this
one so that I can get the new blank sheet using Canva. So the Canva Sheets works as the Google
Sheets and you know, the Microsoft Excel, we have the rows and
columns of data. We have the cells as
we have with Google, you know, sheets and
the Microsoft Excel. So if you already
know how to use the Microsoft Excel
or Google Sheets, it's just a catw for you. You can simply add the data. And after that, you
can process it. I'm going to add the name
Kumar and the data ages 50 35 Ronnie was 47. So you can simply
add the elements, the details you required. You can select the
data and you can use the textutyle as we
used with Canva Docs. We have all those options here. We can set the alignment, and if you want the particular
color for all those cells, you can use this option
background color. You can select those
cells itself and you can set the colors there and
you have the font size, all those things
with Canva sheets. And you can also use that, you know, the formulas here. I Canva, one of the
best thing about the formula here is you
can use A features. Like here, I'm going to
add the A feature here. So let us see how it works. So to access that A feature, I come to this quick actions, and it shows you that option, which is import data generate
table will empty cells, magic shots, insights,
magic write. So all those options, you know, or A features. I'm going to choose, you
know, the magic write. And here I'm going to add the pront So I just add that total of H, and it shows me that 132. So based on my that prompt, it gives me that value. And I'm going to
ask another thing which is us age, and it shows Kumar
and Brownie or age. No he's 35 only. So you to have the prompts
to generate the formulas, and you can add those
things with here. You can also input the data
using the external things. I'm going to choose
this option file, and it shows you all the options which is available
to handle the files. And here I to have the
option upload files. With the help of this option, I can upload any Excel or any other file using
the Canva sheets. Here, apart from that,
I can choose the data. Now I want to
generate the charts. We have a magic charts. Access that I come
to this place, I choose this magic charts. And for this data itself, it shows you the instant
real time preview, and you can select whichever
the chart you require, and I just click this. It will be added with
this particular value. Now I'm going to change
the values here. Automatically here
also, it was adjusted. The only was only 12 now
the aged person was wrong. So you can simply navigate
and change the values. That will be upgraded
with charts directly. So this is how those options works and you have the
different chart styles, and you can do all those things. You can also select the color. You can change the
color if you want. You can also change
the font style. You can scale the
chart as you require. You can increase the
font size if you want. If you need more better display, you can increase that and if you want to set the
transparency also, we can set the transparency
for the chart. So this is how we
have that Google Doc, not Google Doc, the Google Sheets alternative Canva Sheets. You can do all those
work with Canva. You can add data. You can add farm laws. You can process, you
can analyse the data. You can also add the
charts for the data, and it will be
directly linked with the details you are
adding with the sheets. And whenever I do the
modifications with a sheet, that chart also getting
updated with the details. So this is how we use
that Canva Sheets. It's easy way we have docks and sheets with
a single platform. When I have this Canva
Sheets, after that, I want to download the file, so I can go for
the share option. And with that, I
choose Download, and it shows you
the option here, the CSV as well as ExcelsX. So I choose now ExcelsX and
I choose this download. So the file will be downloaded, you can see, it was downloaded. So this is how you can use the Canva Sheets as we
use the Google Docs. Since within the
single platform, we have this Canva
Doc and sheets. It's easy to manage
all those files. And also you can have the integration with Canva
sheet and Canva Docs. So this is how we
use Canva Sheets for creating that
form law based work.
5. Canva Presentation have Everything: In this lesson, I'm
going to show you how to use the
Canva Presentation, which is the alternative for
the Google presentation. We to have the alternative
of this with Microsoft PPT, which is Microsoft four point. So let me show you how to
use this Canva Presentation. It to have a lot of
advance officians can use all those
things with Canva. So to access the
Canva Presentation, we have the home screen itself. At first, I have this
Canva Presentation and to have the create option. With this, I can choose
the presentation. And in presentation, we had
different options here. So we have the full three
dimension presentation, you can see that 1920
into tentive pixels, and we have the mobile mode, which means it will be
with vertical display. So tentative pixels width
and 1920 pixels height. If we want the
mobile presentation, you can choose that and we have the presentation as we
have the normal one. We have the four is three
aspect ratio presentations. Here we have 16 israine. This 1920 1080 is 16 israine
and this is nine is 16. That's aspect ratio. But here we have four
is three aspect ratio, which is the traditional
CRT monitor resolution. For that, we have the
particular size which is ten means 1024
into 768 pixels, and we do have the presentation, the default value here. Right now, I'm going to choose
the default presentation. I click that. So we will get
the blank document here. And with this blank document, I'm going to add my slides. So right now, I was
in my fastest slide. And the most important thing
is when I choose the slide, I can access the slides details. I have the edit options, and if I want to add
some background feature, I can use that option. I to have a background color
can change as it requires. And at the bottom, you can see we
have slide number. Right now, this was slide one, and it shows that this
is page one, right? I can add more page here. You can see slide
two, slide three. I can add multiple slides
using this option. And whenever I choose a slide, you can see it shows me 0.5, which is the duration of this particular slide when I present this to the audience. So this is the default review. And if I want to adjust, I can go for the value
here and I can do the adjustment like I'm
going to select 7 seconds. And if I want to apply that
seven second for all slides, I can choose apply to all pages. And now you can see each slide will have the seven
second duration. So if you want to set the
duration, you can go for that. And I to have the first page and I choose
this small menu icon here, which is having three dots, and it shows you all the options which is available
with the slide. So you can copy the entire
slide, you can paste. You can copy the style itself
and I can also paste that. You can duplicate the
slide, delete the slide. You can add transition.
You can lock the slide. So all those options
are available here, and now I'm going to add the elements with
this particular slide. If you want to add the elements, you have a lot of options here. At first, you have
the templates. So if you want to load the
inbuild stock template, which is available
with Canva itself, you can go for this
option templates. So when I choose template, it shows you a lot of options, and you can add your description like if you want the
portfolio template, you can mention that portfolio. So I press Enter
so that I will get all those templates
based on my portfolio. And if I want for a business, I just provide the
keyword business and I get all those presentation
regarding the business. And I can just scroll my
mouse over the presentation. It will show you the review of all slides which
is available. It to shows you how many slides are available with that
particular presentation. I click that presentation now. When I click that presentation, it shows you that, you know, all the slides review here
and also at the bottom, you can see, we have a
template style also. You have the color combination, the font styles I just used. If I want to apply
the particular slide with this template, I can just click once, so that particular design
will be added here. Now, I choose the second
slide and I can also add the same slide again or I
can add some more slide. And if I want to add
all the ten slides, I want to replace
all those slides. I can use this option, uplay all ten slides,
Mans ten pages. I select the first slide and
I chose aplay all ten pages. So all ten pages will be added. The existing pages will be
replaced by the canvas lights. So this is how the template work here we can intuitually
access the text, the background picture,
or the elements, whichever you want to modify. I come to the second slide, I can add my own picture
which I have for my theme and I can
add the text content. I can simply replace that. This is how we use
the templates with Canva and I go back and you can see we have
a lot more options here. And right now, I was facing
one issue, just imagine. I need this particular
design style, but I need same text and alignment with this
present template. Is it possible to add that color itself from
the particular design? Yes, it's possible. So from the target,
you know, the design, I can access only the color
or colored text style. I can replace that with
my present presentation. Do that, I come
to this template, and we have three dots here. I choose that menu. And here
you can see at the bottom, it shows me four
important options. Os one is uplay text only, so I can apply this template
text alone with this text, or I can apply color only, or I can apply element only. And if I want, I can
apply all to this page. Or I'm going to use this. So let me add the color alone. I come to this
uplay colors only. I click once. So
when I click once, you can see that color was added here and it has multiple colors. I can shuffle this option here. So with the help of this option, I can shuffle the colors. You can see how the
colors are changing. And if I want to apply the particular, you
know, the style, the color to all the pages, I come here and I choose up
play colors to all pages. So you can see all those colors with all pages are replaced
with single click. In the same way, I can replace any color with this
particular design. Like I'm going to
choose the blue. So I'm going to have a look for multiple projects
that templates, and I'm going to use this blue. Okay. This is premium design. I cannot access that. I'm going to access anyone
free design here. So I have a blue here,
so I choose this and I chose this
play colors only, and I'm going to use this
color for all pages. So this is the best part
with the Canva template. And you can access
any template elements as well as the styles, so it will be added
with our own template. Now, I just give unto. I can press Control Z or
I can choose this option, so I can get back my
original template here. This is my original template. And this is how the template
option works with Canva. Now after that, I
have the elements. I come to the elements. In elements, I have all the
elements which I can add with my Canva Presentation.
Like, I have the shapes. With the help of
shapes, I can add the basic geometrical
shapes with Canva. Like, I just click the ons. It will be added. I can also simply drag
and drop if I want. Okay, I just want to
delete this temp box. I was deleted. I can
also track and drop so that that object
will be present here, and it will be added. And after the shapes,
I have graphics. So it's like clipart. You can add any picture which
is available with Canva, all our vector images. I'm going to choose the
particular category, and I'm going to choose the particular image
which I required. I'm going to choose
this picture, so it will be added here. You can see that. So
this is how I can simply add any graphics which is
required for my presentation. All our vectors, as I said, you can scale with any size. I have the photos.
So if you want to add some photographs
with my design, I can use this option. Not going to use
this picture here. I was just added for the sample. You can mention what kind
of image you required. Type corporate and it'll
have a lot of images relevant to the corporate and can use anyone
picture with this place. I chose this picture, and I'm going to add
this in the background. So I just drag and I place here. Or if I want to replace this
picture with the background, I can right click
this picture and I can choose this
replaced background. So the entire background
will be replaced. I can double click
the picture and I can adjust how do I want
the choose done. If I want, I can choose
the background picture. I can reduce the
transparency also. But for that, we need, bit different color for
the background. So I just detach the image, and for the background color, I'm going to add
something I required. Now I'm going to
replace this background again with a picture and I
reduce the transparency. So based on the need, you
can choose the picture, you can simply replace. You can do all those
things with the photos. In the same way, we have the
video forms and the audios. All the elements, if you
want, you can add those. You have the text elements, so you can add that
style headline, sub deadline or body text, and you have a lot of preset values here with
the text combination. And if you want, you
can directly add it, you can edit going
to choose this one. So I just click and
it was added here. I can select that,
I can edit that. I can set the alignment for it. So this is how we use
the text with Canva, and you have the upload option. So with the help of this, if you have your own custom images, which I want to add with
a presentation or video, you can simply go to the upload. Here, I can choose
this upload file. You can choose the file
from your local device, and you can choose the
upload files option again. It will be uploaded and it will be added with the category. If you uploaded with images, it will be with this category, and if you uploaded the video, it will be with this category. So based on the file nature, it will be added
with that category. And apart from that, you have a lot more
options here to manage and execute that
presentation which you are using. Press Control Z again. I want to come back to the
previous template style. So this is what I required. So this is how you are simply,
managing the elements. You can add the text elements
using this You can also use a shortcut K When I press you automatically
add the body text. We can replace that as you required and you can delete
if you don't require. So this is how we have the
present creation with Canva. Now after created
my presentation, I want to present this. So to present this at the top, you have the option directly. Can directly present
using the Canva, you don't require to download. And if you down to download, you can also download as the
PSD file means PPT file. I choose share and here I
have the option download. So the download shows
you a lot of options, PDF standard, PDF
print, and PPTX. When I need as a PPD file, I can choose PPTX,
I choose Download. So this option was not
present at the initial stage, but later Canva added. At the initial stage, we had
only that PDF file format, but later Canva was added, and we got this PPT. So you can download
as a PPT and you can go for the offline
presentation also. Now, if you want to directly
present using Canva, you don't need to download. You had to keep that
presentation in a secure mode, you can use this option present. And I present, you
have this arrow. You have three options
here. You can see. We have the full screen,
presenter view, and atoplay. So you can choose
whichever you required. Like, I'm going to choose this
full screen option first. So when I chose full screen, you can see, we have
a full screen view. And when I come to this right
hand side with my mouse, it shows me right arrow
with highlighter. And I come to the
left hand side, means it will show me left arrow if I have slides
on left hand side. Since it's a first page,
I don't have any slides. Now, I click here once, so it navigate towards
the second slide. Now I move my mouse
towards left. You can see the arrow has
changed and I can click here, I can come back to
my previous slide. So this is how it works, the navigation process,
and below, you can see, we have a Zoom option, and if you want to
zoom my design, I'll get the hand tool also. If I want to present something
in a detailed manner, I can use this option Zoom, and I can choose fit also if
you want to keep the 100%. Need to have the draw on page. So if you want to
highlight something with that particular
presentation, I can use this draw option. And after that draw option, you have the magic shortcuts, and I'll show you how it works. And here you have the
different brushes. You can choose the
highlighter if you want, and you can change the
color as you require. That is brush, actually. So now I was selected
the highlighter. I select and I can highlight those points
which I want to highlight. So this is how these options work and the magic shortcuts. So if I was connected with my, the device, I can use
a magic shortcuts. I to have the
shortcuts you know, to access that like B for
blur and O for bubbles. So I can use a shortcut keys
here. Let me show you that. I choose B. So it was blurred, and again, I press B, it was restored. Now, I press O. A Okay. So now I choose clear, so everything will be cleared. So if you want to
get the attention of the user or if you want
to blur the background, whichever option you
required, you can use it. And you to have the interactive
QA with Canva Live. So if you want to share
this presentation with others who watch, you know, in a live manner, I can use this option. And in this Canva Live, I can choose a
start new session. When I choose this
start new session, and this presentation can be shared with anyone
around the world. The only thing you require is you need to copy
this invitation. You can share with either
email or social media, and it will be in
their screen also. And if you want to
end the session, you can go for this end session. So it will be ended. They
cannot watch your presentation. So with this remote
presentation also, you can use this option interactive Q and
with Canva Live. And you have the
open presenter view. So if you want to have
the presenter view, you need to know what
should be the next one. You can use this option, which is presenter view. I'm going to present this again and I'm going to use
this presenter view. And here you can see, we
have the presenter view, and it shows me the total
duration of my presentation. I'm going to expand this again. So it shows me the total
duration of my presentation, and it shows me what
will be my next slide, and I can also see what
will be my previous slide. So all those things which may
required for the presenter. So you can use this directly. If you have multiple screens, it's easy to manage. I want to show you
with a single screen, so let's show you
with single screen. Like close is now
that presenter view. And apart from that, you two have option
here, which is more. And with this, I have the
option share remote control. The help of share
remote control, you can generate
the link or you can scan this QR code with
your mobile device. Now you'll get the access
of this presentation with that link and you can manage
the forward or backward, and you can also access the features which is draw
on page and magic shortcuts. All those things will be
accessed by this option, which is share remote control. If you want to continue
the autoplay option, you're not going to
stop the presentation. Remember, we have
setted seven second for each slide or if
it is a 5 seconds, when I choose autoplay it will automatically switch the
slide each and every time. We're not going to control
that presentation. This is how we have the
Canva Presentation. You can create completely
with the Canva itself. You can add the styles,
images, videos, YouTube links, all those things
are possible with Canva. And you can download
as a PPT file. I shows you how to
download that PPT file, and you can also present in live with anyone
around the world. So this is how this
particular Canva Presentation is so powerful to compare your Google presentation and your Microsoft
PowerPoint presentation. And I strongly
recommend you to use the Canva Docs Canva Sheets and Canva Presentation
so that you can have all those data integrated
with the Canva itself, and that workflow is also easy to compare any other
platform with Canva.
6. File Management with Canva: In this lesson, I'm
going to show you how to use that Cloud storage
option using Canva. In Google, they provide
15 GP Cloud storage. You can keep your all files
with the Google Drive. In the same way, Canva also
provides you the storage. Let me show you how
to use that option. To access that, I
come to the homepage, and in homepage, I choose
the option Projects. When I choose projects, it shows you the projects work you have
completed using Canva. Now with this, at
the right hand side, you can see we have option A Nu. I click this Add new and I can choose this option
which is new folder. So with this new folder, I can manage all those
files I required. I'm going to choose Project. And I was adding one. So I want to create a folder. It was created, and
it will be with here this place called Project
One. Now, I enter inside. So inside, I can create multiple folders or I
can add multiple files, and we can manage as how do we manage with our Google Drive? So this is how we manage this
Google Drive alternative. But remember, Canva provide five GP storage
for free account. And if you are using a
Business or Pro account, you will have 500 GP storage. Or if you are a teacher, you have teacher
account with Canva, you will have one TP
storage with Canva. So based on the need, you can choose which plan you required. So right now, I was
having a free account. So I will have five GP
storage with Canva. You can add any
elements like images, text, video, audio or PDO files, whichever the file you
want to store with Canva, you can create separate
folders with project folder, and you can manage all those
file with this place itself. You can create
separate folders for each project or each
category files, and you can store all those
things with Canva itself. So this is how we use
that Canva storage. You can simply use as we
use that Google Drive.
7. Content Planner in Canva: In this lesson, I'm
going to show you how to use the annual Planner in Canva, which is the alternative
for Google calendar. So let me show you
how to use that. In Google, we use the
Google calendar to add the information about
our plan or all things. In the Canva, also, we have
that kind of calendar. So in Canva, that option
is called Content Planner. So with the help of
Content Planner, I can plan everything, every activity which I'm
going to do with Canva. To access that, I come
to the more option. And here I have the option, which is Content Planner. So when I choose
Content Planner, it will show you the calendar showing the present
month details, and you can also navigate if you want to go
to the next month. So here I'm going to
have the options. At the top, you can see we have the calendar forward
and backward movement. If we want to move forward, I can go forward, or if we want to come backward, it come to the backward. And you can see most
of the days showing that what will be the
speciality of that day? So, that July 7 is,
well, chocolate day. I click that place,
and by default, it shows me a lot of templates. I can select anyone template, and I can clear the design, and I can schedule that
with this particular day. It will be automatically
added with my social media. So let me show you
how to do that. You can also choose any
blank day and there also you can add your own
event. How to do that. See here, I'm going
to do that work here. I'm going to choose this 18th
and I click this plus icon. So when I choose plus icon, it automatically shows
the recent designs I have created with the Canva, and it shows me the templates
here. You can see that. It shows me the template. Here I have the option
called selector channel. Right now, I was having
only that interest link. If I was connected with my social media
accounts with Canva, I have connected Instagram, Tik Tok, Facebook, LinkedIn. Those channels will
be available here. I can choose the
particular channel and I can choose the
text which I required. And if I want to
change that time, I can also change the time. See here, I just
click this place and I can choose which time I want to
post that information. I can adjust and I can choose done and it will be updated. Even if I want to
choose the 19th, it will be updated with
this particular post. So we directly design
the post here, and we select the option,
publish or schedule. So if you want to
use this, you know, the published option, you can use the free account itself. But if you want to schedule
that with other days, you need either teacher account or pro account or
business account. Otherwise, you
cannot access that, but you can select that design, and you can select the content which you want
to add with that post. You can schedule it
and you can simply post that as you require. So now I was selected
some random design, and I can select that
social media channel. I can provide the caption,
all those information. And if I want to
publish immediately, I can go for publish or I can schedule that on
that particular day. So this is how this
content planner works. You can advanced, you can
plan in advanced manner. You don't need to worry
about that day itself. So it shows you all the days the important days which is
available with each month. And you can also add the custom, you know, event using
this plus icon. You can add that using
this add new option also. You can also share this
with your team member, I choose a share
Content Planner, so I can share with my channels and I can share with my
team members so that they can also aware of
the particular event and when they need to post or
when it will be published. All those information
you can share with your team using
that share option. This is how we use the
Content Planner with Canva. It not just show
you that calendar, we can plan all the
design schedule post using this content
planner in Canva.
8. Canva Team and File Sharing Process: In this lesson, I'm
going to show you how you can create
your own team. How can you manage
the team using Canva. Since we are collecting all those works from docs
sheets and presentation, and you are planning with
your content planner, it's important to
use the team so that you can manage all those
works with a team. Another beauty with Canva, I'm going to select
anyone design. And you can see, I
have my design here. Now, if I want to create
the collaboration work with anyone else or I have a team of members
like four to five, and, all of them want to work with this
template at a time. Is it possible? Yes, since it's, you know, the cloud work, anyone access this
design at any time, like I was an image
editing, you know, person, I'm editing the
background image and the subject image which
they were provided for me and someone else going to handle that typography work they can access the same
design at a time. They can do the work
what they need to do. And another person want to handle that small small details. He can also do the work when I was doing the image
editing process, and another one was
doing the typography. So multiple people can work
with the same dogma at a time and they can complete
the work in easy manner. For that, you need to share this with a team
or the individual. To do that, I come
to the share option. And in share option, you can see here I have the
option called People. So I have the option add people. I can type the email
here directly. I can invite them to access
this particular design, or I can use this
Add People option. Can mention their
particular email ID. I can choose that share
with them so that they themselves need to access so that they need
to accept first. Then they can access
the design and they can do the changes
what they need to do. So in this way, you
can simply share the design with anyone
around the world. And wherever they
are, you can work at a time with your team
with a single document. So that is the best
thing about the team. So how can I manage the team? To do that, I come
to my home screen. My home screen, I have
a lot of options. With that, at the bottom, I have my settings. I come to this place,
and in settings, you can see I have the option
called settings again. So I choose settings. In settings on my
left hand side, I have a lot of options. With that, I have the
option called people. So I choose people here. And here I can invite
the people with my team. So I choose this Invite People
option and I can add my, you know, people with this
particular, you know, team. But the important thing with this is I need to
create the team means, I need to add, you know, that pro account or teacher account. I need
to upgrade myself. Otherwise, I cannot
use the team. But if I want to just share
my design with someone else, and we are going to work
together with that file, that you need a team, so you can directly work, can
share the link with them. You can add them, so you can both collaborate with
the work simultaneously. So this is how they have
the team with the Canva. You can create your
own team if you have either a teacher account or Pro account or a
business account, or else you can share the design and you can do the
collaboration work. This is how we use the teams and share options for
the projects in Canva.
9. Output Formats in Canva: In this lesson,
I'm going to show you how do we can create different format
output and what was the advantage and disadvantage
of those formats. I shows you the few formats
through those lessons itself. But here we do
have more formats. Let me show you how
to handle that. To do that, I come
to the share option. In share option, you can see it directly show me
a lot of options. I can also go for
print with Canva, which means I can directly
order my print with Canva. I can share the address
they need to ship. They will print and ship
to me through this option. So if you want, you
can go for that. And apart from that, I have a public viewing so if I want to generate the link and
everyone need to access, I can use this option
publish view link. I can share that link
to the public audience. I can share this with
WhatsApp Instagram. So you have to anct your account with
that so that you can directly share with either
WhatsApp or Instagram. And I choose this option C. So it shows you the remaining options available with Canva. You can share with One Drive. I can share the Dropbox,
Google Drive box. And in social
media, you can see, we have the Instagram,
Facebook, YouTube. You can directly upload
your video to the YouTube. You don't need to
download and upload. You can share with
Facebook messenger. You can see a lot more
options out there. Apart from that, if I want to share this instead of
sharing this file, I want to download means I can choose this option download. And for this design, this design contains
a video file. You can see that I was
having a small video file. And since it contains the video, and I come to the
share and download, it shows me a lot of options, starts with the image JPG. So I choose JPG and you can see that I can have 80
percentage of quality. Since it's a free account, I cannot upscale or I cannot
change the value here, I can directly download
if I want. So it's a JPG. I have the transparent background portable
network group file PNG. If you want, you
can have to have that teacher or Pro account to get the transparent background. I have a PDF standard, so this PDF standard
means we can use this for email purpose and
you can share with social media or that we have a limited
amount of file size. We have a file odular
called PDF Standard. If you're going to provide
that for printing purpose, you need better image
quality, better resolution. So that time you had to go
for this best for printing PDF print so that it
will have more quality. And you can also change that RGP and CMOK when
you have a Pro account. So this is how
this, the standard, which is for soft
copy sharing purpose, and for print purpose, you can go for this PDF print. Apart from that, we
have SVG also to create web animation and
design and for Procore. Then you can go for this
MP four video so that you can download as a video and you can share with the devices. You have Jif animation. You can convert this
as a Jif animation, and you can also share this as a PPDx file. You can download. These are the various
different file formats we have with Canva document. You don't need to simply
download with a single format. You have a lot of options. You can use the format
according to your need. This is how we use the Canva
share and a download option. As we required, we are
going to choose the one.
