1. Introduction!: Did you know that
80% of people would rather watch you on a live
video than to radio blog? Video content is a
great opportunity to be get noticed, seen and heard. But it is just one part of
the visibility equation. Now, don't worry. We are not
going to do any math here, but I'm going to show
you the formula to be seen and heard as a
video content creator. Hello, I'm Manton Pate,
a course creator. I'm a video or content creator, and I will be sharing
my five years of experience in
content creation, as well as in building
my content brand online. I want to invite
you to join me on this journey to discover
the practical steps to build a digital brand with video content that will
create impact and influence. This course is practically
from video creators, content creators, or can
I see from everyone? Yes, because content economy. And here you will learn how to maximize your digital
brand with video content. All right, I will see you
in the first lecture.
2. Sell Your Story: How to Stand Out Online: Facts tells, but story sells. Let us explore the current
story you are telling online, and if you need to make
any changes or adjustment. Social media is
the new handshake. A firm, authentic
handshake with a smile, is a powerful way to make
a good first impression. A handshakes create a
connection between two people. The same is true when you
are telling your story. But before you open your
mouth to tell a story, there are things
speaking for you. Let's focus on this three. Your profile picture,
your content and how you engage with
other content creators. Your visibility starts
even before you speak. Scientists discover
of our five senses, by far the most important organ of our senses are our eyes. Your profile picture
tells a story. Are you showing up as an expert? Can you be seen as a trusted
authority in your industry? Your profile picture is your brand picture
or your brand image? Show up your face closely. Include a bright smile and a bright smiles always
frames. I'm glad to meet you. A talent agency
discovered me for a video creator or video
course by my profile picture. After looking at my picture, they went nosing around and
watched one of my courses. I was auditioned and was
hired for the lead role. So how is your content
telling your unique story? When you create
content posts like social media post,
newsletters, articles, or even videos, you have the opportunity to share your journey, expertise
and knowledge. While creating content may
be seen as popular thing, but it serves a bigger purpose. Creating contents gives
your visibility legs. It carries your message
beyond your present location. And finally, the question is, how you are engaging with
other content creators. In this online space of
increasing your visibility, sharing is carrying, and serving others is
always a winner. This is something you can
do right now or today. So go to your favorite
content creators page, like their comment, like their post, or add a value added comment or even make a point to be
given in their space? Now, I want you
to invite to open your Smartphone or computer
to your social media profile. And here's a few
question to answer. How you are presently
showing up. What changes can you make? How is your virtual
handshake for the next person who comes
to your profile page is
3. Crafting Your Unique Story: You know your story? A simple
yet powerful question. Your story is as unique
as your fingerprint, and no one can tell your
story better than you. International motivation
speaker, Charles Wood says, your story is about
you, but not for you. Your expertise, your experience and your journey
contributes to your story. When people think
of story telling, they think it means
a long story. But in fact, you can tell
your stories in three words. It's just like it sounds. Three words to
summarize your story. For example, I am a
video creator coach. I believe you should be
seeing, heard, and paid. My three word story is
your visibility is power. These are not just random
words strung together, but a complete sentence with
a complete meaning in it. In this three word
story process, you identify what
makes you unique. This process also keeps you
focus on your story thing. Now it's ten. Take a few moment right now and try to tell
your story in three words. What did you come up with? After deciding your theme, you can create video
content ideas. Post block post. Well, the ideas are limitless. My favorite Native
American proverb says, those that can tell the
stories can rule the world. Now it's your chance to rule the world that
you have been given, and it can happen
with your story.
4. Hook Your Audience: Hook, Bait, and Reel: So far, we have learned story tellings can build
credibility and visibility. We have also learned the ways in which we can
tell our stories. Now, there is a lot of discussion around video
content creation, but great content is
built around a story. When you effectively
tell your story, it creates a visibility
equation. Here it is. Credibility plus visibility
equals profitability. Your stories establish
your expertise and authority when you decide
to show up and tell it, and that will create
a profitable brand. In the last lecture, we have worked through three
word story activity. Now, in this lecture, we will deep diver into story frameworks for
content creators. This is concise and
compelling storytelling. Remember, you only have a few seconds to grab
your audience attention. Make it count. I want you
to think this as a fishing. My dad took me fishing
when I was kid, and I learned that
fishing involves a rod, a hook, wait, and the rail. For this illustration, we
will focus on the hook, the bait, and the ray. The hook is the opening line
of your story of your video. It sets the tone
of the topic and a hook calls out a specific
problem or a specific person. Bait on that hook is your story, but not just any story, the one your audience
can connect to. They have to see
themselves in your story. And finally, the real is all about how you will al
them into your story. This will be clear
call to action, and I have learned on my
contained creation journey that to tell people what you want to do next, and they will do it. Well, again, to summarize hook, wait, and the le. This is just one way
to attract peoples. You can also keep in mind
the forces or storytelling. Write this down as a
reminder or jot it down somewhere important.
Keep it concise. Remember context, everyone has a conflict
and a conclusion. Your stories connects the
dots with your audience. So tell more stories.
Now it's your ten. Before you create
your next video, script the hook, the bait, and how you will rill
them into your story.
5. Unveiling Your Unique Persona: Stand Out as a Content Creator: Your story is different, and so does your
presentation style. Do you want people
to connect with you? The most powerful
secret weapon to showing up as a content
creator is you. In this online space, where there are so
many content creators, there could be this temptation to pretend like someone else. But please don't do it. This will impact the
authenticity of your brain. It will also attract people
who are drawn to you, what you are pretending to
be, and not the real you. Well, this is the right time to define your unique
video creator persona. Your persona or your
personality is unique to you. It is a pattern of
your behaviors, your emotions, thought patterns, style, and your motivations. To start, be clear
about who you are and what kind of content you intend to create or make in the future. Also, pay attention to the attributes other
point out about you. This will make you unique and
your content more unique. Master your communication style. Tape into your personality
because people by people, develop your personal style, like creating an image that feels both authentic
to who you are on the inside and represent the same message you want
to convey on the outside. My collection of book has become a part of
my video content. People have told me
they have stopped their scroll to see
what books I'm reading. As a video creator, showing up more online will
keep your audience engaging with you and make you stand out apart from all
of the content creators. Now take a few minutes
and think about what can help you to showcase your
persona or your personality.
6. Lights, Camera, Action: Essential Prep for Video Creators: Are you ready to start your
video creation process? Alexander Graham Bell says, before anything else,
preparation is key to success. Now that you have know
your unique persona and your presentation style.
Let's show it off. But before we hit that
record button or go live, there are a few things
I want to share, which is very important, and key things that every video creator
contain should know? First, create a
rundown or outline? This is the sequence of events that will
happen in your video? Y creating this rundown, you will know the
direction of your video. Determine your location. Are you creating this
content in your home, your office, or your studio? Whatever you pick, make sure the space you select,
displays your brain. H should be clear
of clutter free from distracting noise and
have a great lighting. Creept out what you will say. I don't recommend word by word. However, a bullet style
work well for me. And here's my protein. These bright index cards, put them next to the
lens on your camera or computer to maintain eye
contact with your audience. The words are easier to see, and if you can fit all on
that card, leave it out. Figure out your call to action, obviously, because every
video should have a goal. Determine this before
you get started. So at the end of the video, you can invite your audience
into the next steps. Let us take an example
of this lecture. Go to the discussion
tab of this cores page to share and engage with
others on this platform. This is kind of a
call to action. Taking the time to prepare
beforehand can really build your camera confidence
and your presentation style. You will feel fully
equipped and ready to go. Trust me, you will feel a lot confident by following
these simple steps. And this doesn't have
to be a long process. But taking a few
minutes before you get started and
implementing all of these steps can ensure
your content will be wonderful,
impactful, and amazing. All right, I will see
you in the next lecture.
7. Boosting Your Online Presence: Attract and Engage: Do you know how to
attract and engage with the person on the other side
of the screen watching you? Well, in this lecture,
you are going to learn some practical steps you can implement right now to
show up for your audience. Number one, elimate the mindset of being the best kept secret? You have learned how to tell
your story. So tell it. Become the series person
of your narrative? This could be letting people
know where you will be live or share your videos
across various platforms? Your audience will
take their time or invest their time
into watching you? That being said, be a good
steward of your time. When you're doing a live
broadcast, start on time. Don't wait for people to
join. Just get started. Your favorite television
doesn't wait for you. They just get started because
you can catch a replay. During your video, ask or pose a question with Spark
engagement with your audience. This can be an open
ended question. And if you can read the responses during
the live broadcast. For example, right now, I did like you to answer this. What are the three
questions you might pose to your audience to get a conversation going
into your comments? These are going to
be unique questions from every content creator, and it will build a trust and real connection
with your audience. Remember, the way to
win at attracting and engaging with your
audience is to being human. We are all wired
from connection. According to measles hierarchy, along with the basics
like food and water, we also need from belonging
and connection with others. When we prioritize
serving people, seeing and hearing them help us to boost
our visibility too. Just as much as you can show up, your audience also desire
for you to show from them. Hold the space from them, and they will do the
same for you in written. All right, I will see
you in the next lecture.
8. Building Brand Visibility: Beyond Just Videos: Do you want to be more
visible for real? Because your vile
is more important, and it will be not start directing everything
you do thereafter. While data shows that more
people like to watch videos, there are other ways to get
noticed by your audience. In fact, your visibility plan should include more
than just videos. Because videos are just one part of your overall brain strategy. Now, you should start building your visibility like a sandwich? Well, I am a foodie, so just go along with
me for this moment. India, we typically make our sandwiches with
two slices of bread. For example, one slide is traditional media such as television, radios,
and newspaper. The second slice is new media, like social media, podcast,
and live streaming. The meat is your story. Again, I will repeat the meat in the
middle is your story. Now that I have made you
hungry from more visibility, Consider creating
a brain strategy from two slices of bread. For example, you may utilize live videos
for the upper bread, and for lower bread, you can pitch the local
medias, your story ideas. Remember, we never want to limit our visibility to
just one source. We want it to be everywhere. But at the same time, we don't want to spread ourself to thing. Otherwise, we will become
very overwhelming. Here are some of the
questions to help you in developing
your brand strategy. Pause now, take a few moments to answer this
question for yourself. Where are the peoples I want
to connect are hanging out. What do I need to do to start
and grow my visibility? And do I have the capacity
to sustain this plan? Building a visible brand and popular brand will take your
time and your patience. But I know that you are
ready and you are up for it. So when you decide and commit to your decision to be same as
a video content creator, don't worry, you will reap the hard wasst of your
hard work in soon tile?
9. Optimize Your Presence: Systems for Lasting Visibility: Everything around
us run by systems. Your visibility is no different. It needs a system to
function at its best. Do you have one? Creating
your own visibility systems can prevent burnouts
and discontent. Here's where you
can get started. First, your setup. Where do you record your videos? Select your place and keep the setup set up.
Next performance. Do you have more energy in the morning afternoon
or evening? Because people needs to
experience your energy. Select a data record label
of your energy labels, and then it's slight
camera and action. Now when this comes to
creating the video, you can also batch create. This is the process of
recording several videos at once to save it
and post it later. A calendar like Notion
or Google calendar is an amazing tool to be intentional with your
visibility strategy. This calendar can serve
several purposes. You can use it from videos ideas when you will host
your live shows, recording dates, and
scheduling content. Automation is your friend. Whenever you can automate
or schedule your content. And finally, one of my favorite system,
which is repurposing. Trust me, nothing is wasted. Repurposing is just taking video content and adapting
it for a different purposes. For example, a
YouTube video can be repurposed to social media
content like Instagram Weil, TikTok, or even Facebook post. Video content can be
turned into blog posts, articles, static post, and even television
media interviews. Your audience will
not see everything. And if they did, post it again, because it takes at
least seven times to engage with something
in order to have it down. Your visibility is about
working smarter and not harder. Now I want to invite you to
take a few moments to decide which one of these
systems you will going to use in your
content strategy.
10. Class Project: Using Content Calendars: This lecture is all about class homework or class project. Well, to get started
with your class project, I'm going to share
you an content calendar in the
research section. Now I'm going to show
you how you can complete your project by filling
out this content calendar, submit in the project section, and earn that certificate. Well, this is the content
calendar I'm talking about. Let's say on 1 July, you want to shoot your video. Shooting your YouTube video. Then if on that day, if your shooting
a video is done, simply you can
just cross market. That way, you will feel very grateful for
completing this task. Well, sometimes
distraction interruption at our office happens, and we tend to not
shoot our videos. Simply you can check this and then copy
and paste it here. Light, so you will know that you haven't done anything on Monday, and now it's time to
shoot your video. That way, you can plan your
entire content calendar for two weeks or even
for a whole month. Let me give an example
of my content calendar. Here is my content
calendar, as you can see, editing my course,
publishing my course, GM and book and et ca. Well, I will be sharing this content calendar in the
resource section, and again, make sure to fill the
content calendar, take a screenshot of it, and then upload it in
the project section. Alright, that's all
for this lecture.
