About This Class

Create Systems to Automate and Outsource Every Aspect of Your Life and Business

Be as effective as you can be and save hours per week by automating (almost) everything boring in your life.

How long per week do you spend doing boring, repetitive tasks? What if you could automate these tasks? Consider how much time you could save per week if you did so. If that is the case, that would amount to approximately 269 hours per year; that is approximately 10 days extra per year. What would you do with an extra 10 days per year just from putting repetitive tasks on autopilot?

This course is a productivity outline to help you optimise daily tasks and even outsource almost everything in your life to become much more effective (and possibly even happier).

Email, for example, is a great productivity tool. However, it can often take over your life. Pinging here and there as messages arrive, but what if some of that email could be automated?Just think how much of the working day this could save. Well, this course will help you do just that!

By the end of this course, you will have relieved yourself of the need to perform many of these tasks yourself. You will make a list of these day-to-day tasks and either put them on autopilot (such as emails) or get someone else to do them for you (such as meal prep).

  • Section 1: Merge your favourite apps into one account so that all your social media, emails, and even weather reports happen automatically with the click of a single button
  • Section 2: Food without thinking—meal prep can be enjoyable, but it is also very time-consuming. We could save countless hours and even money if we could automate some of the less interesting aspects of meal preparation.
  • Section 3: Auto money savings - We buy almost everything from online stores like Amazon. There are numerous ways to automate cost savings so that everything is done for you, such as finding coupons or notifying you when prices drop unexpectedly.
  • Section 4: Delegate your work— finally, the pinnacle of automation—having someone else do all of your work for you Be your own boss. The incredible thing is that it costs far less than you might expect and saves you far more hours than you could possibly imagine.

This course will give you the resources you need to make optimization and outsourcing your keys to great productivity and effectiveness.

With this easy-to-follow video course, Paul will show you some of the ways you can start to automate the parts of your life that you really wish you could!

1. Automaton introduction: We often hear that time is money. I would say actually times enjoyment. Time is about fun. If we have more time than we can have more time with our families. We have more time doing the things that we really enjoy in life. If we're spending countless hours doing tasks and chores that are really dull, really boring, really mind them in, or just take away that time that we could have enjoying the things in life that we really wanted to do, then That's really quite disheartening. So this whole course, it's all about how we can automate aspects of our lives that we find really dull, repetitive, or just swamp us. Things out there that will help us to get more time with the things that we really enjoy. As you go through this course, you'll see loads and loads of tips and tricks that you can implement. Some of them are really quick, really easy, and costs nothing and you can do within half-hour. Some of them are a lot more take a lot more time and effort to set up and maybe some costs as well. But again, they could save us countless hours over a whole year to be able to spend those hours, as I say, with things that are really important. I'm sure that if you, as you watch his course, you'll find at least one thing that you can implement in your life that you can just automate. I hope there's gonna be things in this course that you can go. That's a really interesting idea. I didn't know you could do that. Or I denote this thing can be put on automation. It can be anything from automating online repetitive tasks to automating the costs of something that you really want on Amazon to automate in your food and your groceries. There's things that take up again so much time. So I really hope that you enjoyed this course. Please give me some feedback. Please reach out if you have any more ideas, tips, and tricks on how to do automation and share them. And maybe I'll put this in, put this into a more updated course. I'll try it as, as they come up with ideas as I read articles, as I get feedback, I'll try and update this course regularly. So always make sure that you keep an eye on what's going on. Thank you very much. 2. Class Project: Now, as part of this course, we want to do a bit of a class project. For the class project is basically for you to share a photo or a comment of something that you've automated as a result of this course. During this course I, she had loads and loads of tips and tricks. So each of you should be able to share something that you've got from this course. It may simply be that you install a coupon, automated coupon finder and that you've brought something from that coupon find that a lot cheaper than he should have been. Take a photo of a thing, share it and share how much you saved. That'd be great, That'd be really encouraging to people. It may be that the part of the course where I will talk about automating food, that you've somehow automated some sort of meal prep. Take picture of your food, share that with the community and how that has been automated. It may simply be that as a result of this course, you've gone down a bit of a rabbit hole and automating something amazing as a result of the inspiration of this course. We'll share that and it particularly if it's something new, we can add that into the course. And we share that as a community. As I said before, I love to grow this and add more and more tips as we go along. The more tips or more ideas, more thoughts, the more inspiration you give as a community, the better this course can be. Don't forget to share, share your photos, fair? Share your comments, and let's grow this automated community. Thank you. 3. You Need A F.A.Q: Okay, so in this very first act, hack, it's super, super simple to do, but could potentially save you an awful lot of time and effort. Now, basically what this is is setting up a freakin frequently asked questions documents. Now this can be a Word document. It can be Google Docs. I've just chosen to do this simple Trello. So I use Trello quiet lies a really good program. And the great thing about Trello is that if you want to move things around, you can, you can update things very easily. You can archive things, you can link things to Google Drive and all that type of stuff. So basically with your frequently asked questions document, it literally is just that. It's a document that when people come to you and say ask a particular question that you might get time and time again over a day, then you can just open up this document, copy paste, and send that in the next video. I'm going to tell you an even better way to do that. But for now if you set up a document like this and think about those questions that you get throughout the day that maybe you have to answer two or three times during the day or even over a month, there may be a question that comes to you, e.g. your bank account details obviously have to be quite careful with that sort of information. But let's say you have to fill out forms or you have to fill out for expenses forms, claim for expenses, that type of stuff. And you have to constantly find your wallet, look at your card, What's my bank account details that you can just simply open this document, Copy and Paste. Now, what I advise you to do is to do something very similar to this. You could call it your frequently asked questions or even like a Wiki. So it could be the document that has lots and lots of different information. Now the great thing about something like Trello is that you can tag these things. So you've got whom? So e.g. this could be, you could simply tag this as your label, I should say here, as your related to your home, e.g. so we could put home in here, save that, and then we have that one at home. But let's say e.g. you work from home. So this could also be work-related as well. E.g. you could have two tags there, e.g. so straight away, you can always filter out various information in your Wiki or in your frequently asked questions folder. Now I've, I've put some titles here. Obviously depends on how you live your life, how your life is operated. You may have your own business, e.g., where you want to put information about your business, that you're constantly getting emails or messages saying, Hey, are you open next Wednesday? Here's my business hours, e.g. so you open that here, your business I was there. All you have to do is just copy that and paste it. And let's put a little label that as well because that's just about your business. What's your home address, e.g. I. Always get asked my interest and my address is a little bit complicated. So I'm going to, oh, wait a second. It's just my mind. Sometimes it goes blank. I can just copy and paste that. Maybe you once I've caught information, again, maybe if you use your car for business purposes and you want to collect mileage, that type of stuff on expenses, maybe you need to have information about your car. I've got stuff like bills and stuff like that. Again, this could be electric reading or electric information to do with your business, your home life, and you can tag them as well. So this is really quick and easy thing to set up. Be in a say, a word document or in Trello or something. And it can save you potentially hours and hours during a month. And you mentioned over a year, this type of information could take up quite a lot of time, but simply opening documents over the course of a year, you could be saving an awful lot of time. So why not go ahead now and set up a simple quick, Frequently Asked Questions document. You can just leave it somewhere and fill it in as as as you get asked these questions throughout a week, a month, or even a year. 4. Now to F.A.Q Your Email: Okay. So you started your frequently asked questions document. And how can we use this in an even better way to really start to save on time. Now, a lot of people have Gmail accounts and there's a great little hack within Gmail where you can use this frequently asked questions document. So here I am on a Gmail account. I should point out that this is one of my dummy ones that I just used for spam and stuff like that. So if you do message me on this account, I probably won't get it. So I've just send myself an email and I've asked, Hey, what time are you open? So you could go into this and you could reply and go, thank you so much for your email. I'm open to that. But of course we've already done the work with our Frequently Asked Questions document. So what we can do is go over here. We can open that. We can just copy it. We could put it in here. And that's done. I mean, that was a few seconds. But there's a way of doing this even faster than that. And that's using templates. And the way that we set up templates in Gmail is we go to the little gears icon, which is settings. Click on that. And we go See All Settings and click on them. And when we got the top here we've got advanced. Click on Advanced. We see templates. Templates turn frequent messages into templates to save time, templates can be created, inserted through the More options menu in the compose toolbar. You can also create automatic replies using templates and filter together. We enable that. Save changes. We'll come back to our inbox and we can see how we can use this. So back in our message and we paste the information that we had. And then we go to the little dots here. The more options, one, click on them. Now we can see templates because we've allowed that to be there. And we go Save Draft as a template, save as new templates. And we do, we just have shop opening times there. Okay, So that's saved. So we're going to clear this. Go back to our inbox. And we imagine that this is a new message then that's just come through and we wanted to reply to it. I'm worried that someone else has asked about my opening times weren't then why don't they just Google it and find out? Anyway because you are polite business owner, you click on there and we go shop opening times, and that's it, it's done. And of course you could ask you could type something like thank you for opening. Asking about opening times, we look forward to seeing you. Here. Is our time, something like that. And that could be a thing that we could just do. And of course you can do that with absolutely fine if you don't have your own business, again, maybe your frequently asked about, Oh, what's your address we want to send you this boom, send the address. Credit no credit card details, but bank, bank details because I've expenses, those types of things. And as we collect them in our documents, we can automatically just put them into Gmail accounts, so we've got them to swap back and forth. So there's a great little tip that potentially over these just two things from having a documents and having templates in Gmail, you can save yourself a lot of time over a whole yearly period. 5. Total Email Automation: Okay, so one more quick hack that you can use in Gmail that can use the Frequently Asked Questions document that we prepared Heller is we set up the templates already. One cool little trick you can do in templates is if you go to the gear icon again and you go to All Settings, you'll see this option filters and blocked addresses. We click on that. I've got a lot of filters in here. This is from a very long time ago when I was playing around with some various options. There we go. Scroll right to the bottom of here if you've got filters already and you create new filter. So click on your new filter in a subject. Let's put in opening times. And you then go create filter. You can see it's picked up two conversations already, so we could have that e.g. those are two examples that we put in. You can see just behind here is the email that we already had come through. So we can then send templates. And remember we set up templates in the previous video. Click on there, we go, shop opening times. And then we can create a filter. Then we can also have things like skip the inbox because what we don't need to read it, mark is red. We can start with a label on e.g. customer asking about opening times that can be quite helpful at forwarding address if that would be quite helpful. I never sent a spam, always mark is important, etc. Depends on the type of message that you are automating. Great filter. Well that will automatically do, would be to reply to that opening times query with thank you very much for email. Here are opening times. Now, I know it's very specific example that probably won't work for a lot of people. But what you need to do is to think creatively what the types of emails that you regularly get that you could just automate and say thanks for email. Here's the information you requested. Boom, something like that. Or it could even relate a link to a frequently asked questions. Documents. Please refer to the Frequently Asked Questions document or page to find out more information. It depends on how you'd use this within your business or personal life. But that can be a really powerful hack that you can set up. And again, I could save an awful lot of time over a year. 6. Supercharge All Your Favourite Web Apps: So gone are the days where you have to log into lots of different programs to achieve just one task and fangs too many of innovation on the Internet, we can now make various programs talk to each other and automate the whole process. So e.g. if you want your phone to be pinged every time range forecast, we can set that up. What if you want to send a welcome message to all your Twitter followers? What if you want to send a message to all your Facebook, Twitter, Instagram followers in one fell swoop. And honestly the list is endless of a sort of things that you can get up to weave all these automated tasks. We've websites like this, which is if this then that Now if you've not come across this website before, then you're really missing a treat and an amazing hack for time-saving. Now, if this then that is basically if this happens on one platform, e.g. Twitter, then make this happen on another platform, e.g. Facebook, or in your Google Docs or send an email or pingo phone, whatever it is. Okay, so first, let's set this up and then we'll see some of the amazing things that we can do behind the scenes with this app. Now, the great thing about that is that it is free. I mean, there are paid services, of course, paid options, but generally speaking, for the everyday user, the free account is perfectly adequate. So once you've set up your free account, normal, use an email and verifying all that type of stuff. Then basically you want to start to link some of your accounts. Now the way to do that is to click on your profile here. And then we go to my services. So as you can see, there's a lot of services that you can link to this end that from your e-mail, Facebook, Gmail, Instagram, et cetera. So we could do is go through here and think of the accounts that you use a lot. So I'm going to, first of all though, is go to my account and I'm going to add a service to my account. So I'm going to add my Twitter and that will populate my account with the Twitter information. So as you can see, I just clicked on that. See SipProfile authorize mine. Now this is my business account linking it to a should now populate that amigo. So that's all set up is taking the information from my Twitter account and put it into if this then that now what you could do is go to back to my services and sought to link up some of these counts. So here I'm on the red it's page. Now, I use ready quite a lot with my business point of view. I'd like to put, let's keep reading it and Twitter and all those various feeds linked up. So I'm going to keep my ready to count to this as well. Then we can explore some of the things that we could do e.g. with read it. Now, I'm aware that you may not use radiates, it may not be a program used. We can sort of understand the types of things that you can do. Okay, so I've just gone through the process. As you can see, it's all connected knows who can go back. And if we click on some of the, we can see some of the activities that we can do with ready to sell Mayor Mel me free games. If that's your thing. Had top listened to this posts from Spotify. There's lots of options that you can do here with a reddit account if that's your thing. Okay, So what I've just done is added this little update. So basically when I update my Facebook status, it should automatically then update my Twitter status as well. So let's just see if this all works. Okay. So I'm just going to login to Facebook and my other page, I'm going to log into Twitter. And hopefully this will work or else I'll have to record this again. Okay, So I have just written this quick post. I'm currently working on new course where I provide tons of tactics, hacks, and tips for automating the most tedious aspects of life. And giving you hours. Every year that would be better spent, sorry, saving euros every year that would be better spent doing things you enjoy rather than tedious, repetitive jobs either has quite a nice low post, sums up this course quite nicely, I think. So Let's pause this. And hopefully it will pop up on my Twitter feed. Perfect. I actually pause the video then thinking, oh, it might take a few minutes. But literally I went onto my Twitter feed and it was there, as you can see, 23 s ago. And this was just now. So it is pretty much straight away that it will update. So that was just one very quick tip and trick for if this then that. So it's definitely worth sign up. In the next video, I'm going to show you a couple of more little tricks that you can do on if this, then that 7. Next level Web Apps Automation: Okay, so let's take a further look at some of the stuff that you can do on if they send that, that ultimately will save you a ton of time. So if you go on the Explore menu here, you can see that they've given you loads of themed, I guess, applets that you can use. So you can go through here and some really interesting ideas and thoughts. Some of it is quite creative. E.g. if you've got an Apple Watch, There's a ton of things that you can do. There's ideas, things like this. Get a daily e-mail with the weather if that's helpful for you. Save a tweets that feature specific contents. Because that's really helpful if you're involved in, say, a very niche business or hobby. You may want to have some keywords that then we'll just send you a spreadsheet. A spreadsheet could then be emailed to you, e.g. or used between certain with clients or people within your business. So you can constantly keep updated with what's happening within a particular niche or within a particular field. That's quite helpful. Lhc could go through here and just look at all these ideas. There's tons and tons of things because I think this is an interesting one. They did things like say with the United Nations. So again, if you're involved in a news or you want specific news on a specific area to do with government or charities, that type of stuff can be quite helpful. This I found quite helpful applets to get you started this automation. Then what you can do is go through here and then just feeling overwhelmed. This can be quite helpful. This one I've seen people use before. If you work in a shaft to track your hours, you can set your phone e.g. to automatically pink spreadsheet when you enter and leave your work as you can retract your arrows, that can be quite helpful, particularly feel like freelance as well. That can be quite a helpful tool as well. We've already looked in the other videos about having tweet, Twitter and Facebook succinct and how helpful I can be. This is obviously more things like Spotify, that's more of a few quite like keeping track of like songs, that type of stuff. Wherever reports we've already talked about. Sinking your photos, e.g. if you put your photos on Instagram, then you can automatically have that syncs with say, Dropbox. So you've always got those photos where that can be quite helpful is sometimes people get accounts banned for various reasons and you suddenly lose all that material or you forget your password or something like that, I can be helpful as well. You can sync your Instagram. Say we have another program like Flickr or Twitter as well. So there's loads there that can be helpful. One is upgrading your sleeping routine, e.g. again, you can have things that will automatically be put in place. So over morning, you have certain things in place already or even to track your sleep? I felt this was just a random one that I came across. This is for parents. Share your kids related events calendar with your ex. So if you've got if you don't live with the other parent, then you can sync communication like that, which can be really helpful, particularly if you have an awkward relationship with that person. But of course you can then manipulate that to have that with a work colleague, e.g. or if you have someone that you're working on specific projects with, or maybe your partner or significant other doesn't live with you and beat you want to keep track of certain calendars. Again, you can manipulate that type of stuff. They want to. I've used quite a lot is sinking blog posts. Now e.g. if you have an RSS feed on your blog post, you can set up that Orissa, SSP two then two, then automatically update other blogs as well. This can be quite helpful for things like backlink in. So that's a different way that you can use this. If you want to create your own sort of applets within this, you just go create. So if you haven't seen one that you particularly like or something, or you have a very specific need to do with your lifestyle, your business, or your personal life that you want to explore. They simply come here and you create. So then you just add the, if this happens within one particular thing. So then you have all these potential programs that if something happens within them that you're working on, then equal start the upload going. It will be the catalyst, I guess. As you can see this absolutely loads and loads and loads. I have this. I have no idea what they are, what they do. But you can explore them. I always find it quite interesting. I'm thinking, what's this? What's Zulu hood, e.g. is that a helpful tool? Sometimes I end up exploring and finding new new things. But for now, I'm just going to put in, like I mentioned earlier on RSS. So if I post a new post on my, my website, then click that creates a trigger. Then let's say I want I want that RSS, if that if I post a new post on something next to happen, again, It's absolutely tons and tons of options. E.g. I. Could automatically send out an email to my email list. That would be something like, hey, there's new post, check it out. Obviously you can do that with YouTube as well. E.g. if you have a new YouTube channel on Instagram channel, you can put the feed onto there. And that could automatically post out to your e-mail lists which can quiet way. But if I just want to say, like I said earlier on this, I just wanted to create a second blog that could either be backup or it could be a way of having backlinks, which can be quite helpful. Then I could just create a post there and that can be like almost a dummy blog called backup blog for that. And then just click on there. You have various options depending on, on what thing you want to do. You can change the title. I could put in some key hashtags there, e.g. labels there, say a title. You post, whatever it can be, then that will be created and that would be done. Finish. So as you can see, it's really simple to start doing that. Best thing to do is just to come to if this then that.com and check it out and see how you could use this within your own life to save you lots of hours and lots of time. 8. Even Batter Web apps Autopilot: So Zapier is very similar to if this, then that there's a few slight differences. And one of the things to be aware of is that in the free version of Zapier, you can only have five free zaps. So that's something to be aware of, which is not quite the same with if this and that where you have an awful lot. I'm not actually sure what the limit is, but I've not quite reached my limit. But with Zapier, I tend to reach my limit if I'm doing specific project. The thing about this app here is that the certain integrations that you weren't necessarily get in if they send that. One of the big ones is PayPal. Although PayPal is actually paid service on Zapier. So there are some limitations, but if you really want to up your automation and you have PayPal quite heavily integrated into your online business, e.g. then there's something you want to be, you want to look for. I also find is up here a little bit more complicated, a little bit. Not quite as intuitive, but it's still very powerful. Some of the other things with Zapier is that the certain websites that I use quite a lot, e.g. there's one called Warrior plus that have a presence on Zapier that have a major part of my business really streamlined. So you often will get things like that. So it's definitely worth you looking at Zapier and seeing if there's something that you do regularly, if there's a particular websites that is part of your business that don't necessarily have a strong online presence in things like if this then that then it's maybe worth checking out as up here and see if they are on there. Just a brief overview is up here. As gain is very similar to if this and that where you, you ask it to do one thing, e.g. let's look at the Facebook thing again. So e.g. one thing that I don't think you'd have on Zoom if they send that is ads e.g. so if ads e.g. are part of your business, then zap it would be quite good. So you can see here very similar to a face and that there's a certain number of things that if, if certain thing happens on your Facebook page, then e.g. share on LinkedIn, that type of thing. So again, it's very, very similar type of setup to if this and that. The inspiration page is actually really good. And there's lots of stories of businesses, e.g. let's think I would say about Zapier. It feels much more businesslike. And with the efforts and that it feels more personal like things in your house, lights and temperatures and stuff. But with Zapier is very much geared more towards businesses, That's something to be aware of as well. So you can read some of these case studies and how they view Zapier slope of again, loads of e.g. seven ways to automate PayPal. So it's worth looking at that. Here's some of the things that I've connected up. As you can see, I use malting from my side pronounce other, if that's the correct way to pronounce it. More tick for my emails and I view I can integrate that with Zapier, which is quite unusual, quite difficult to do on other websites. Gum row, e.g. is another website that I use quite a lot and they've quite love zaps on their GitHub, e.g. and so on. You can see it's definitely worth checking out and I'll show you very quickly how to do that. So you just click on this app that you want to do. And then it has this more drop-down. And this is why I said it's not quite as intuitive, is a lot more things that he asks for that you can sort of get a little bit complicated with. So you put in, obviously if this one you put in your feed address, username, password, etc. Then down here would ask for more details again. So you can see there's a lot more things that can go wrong will be a little bit more complicated. So that's something to be aware of. The way that I would use it to websites together. I think I would use if this then that for the majority of things. So things like home life, things like ping my phone if the weather, if it's going to rain. Here's types of everyday type of little things. And I'll definitely use Zapier for more heavy business use. So things like that, that would really streamlined my business. E.g. if PayPal is a big deal for your business, come on here, use it like that. I would probably connect all my business webpages on my business Facebook pages. For Zapier, I think you can do lot more than you can necessarily do with if there's some that. But I think the two together are actually incredibly powerful and it's definitely worth checking out both and see how you can make both work for you in your both your personal and home life and your business work life as well. I hope that's helpful for you. 9. All Your Social Media Set and Forget: Okay. So it's keeping your social media accounts or up-to-date and sync with each other can be quite time-consuming. So obviously there are some apps online that can help you to really do that, where you can schedule all of your social media accounts and updates up to a month in advance. And you can set it and forget it, which is a really great option for being a time-saver, especially if social media, of course, is something that's a big part of your job or your lifestyle. So let's have a quick look at a few options and I'll go a bit deeper into the 11 of the potentially the best options. So there's loads of websites available depending on what your goals are, how frequently you post, what services you want. So you've got things like later.com, e.g. that can be a little bit pricey, is 18 pounds a month. Websites like public, public, I'm assuming this. You can have up to a free social media accounts that one user, ten pending posts. If you're, if you've got a quite a small online presence, then something like this might be absolutely fine for you. Similar to Zoho media. And this is one that I have been using recently, just testing out with product loans that I've been doing. It's pretty good. Zoho can be a little bit complicated to use. I find there's lots of options like down. There's all these options. And if you click on here, you got all this. It can be a little bit overwhelming, but it's pretty good. It does the job and I've had no problems with it really. The last few months since I've been using it. This can, again, price-wise, it's not too bad. You can have one person using it. Various options on there are absolutely fine. So you can have looked through their tympanic month again, for the standard is not two. Our radius. Canva is a great product and it's probably one that you've come across before. But they do a social media calendar. And of course, the great thing about that, it's all integrated. So you have your social media calendar straightaway. You can publish straight into it from camera itself. You never really even have to leave it. And you can always have the right sizes and everything. It's really, really good. But again, it can be it can be it's not too bad. I mean, 11 per month. But you also you don't only get the social media, you also get obviously all the options for producing content as well. The one that I use and it's pretty popular. You may have come across it before, is a buffer. I think he was sort of one of the first ones on the market. Actually. I think they'd probably one of the oldest of these sort of options. And the free account, you get quite a lot. You can get, again up to free channels, which is the same as the public that we looked at. And tempos per channel, one user. Which again, might be absolutely fine. It's not particularly outrageously expensive either. It's six pound a month. For the essentials, which is how many you can get unlimited channels, 2000 posts. That probably is quite adequate, adequate for most people. I think six pound a month is quite doable if you're involved in a social media world, if that's quite an important part of your, well, let's have a quick little dive into a buffer and see some of the things that you can do within there. Okay, so here we are on the main page when you sign up to buffer. So obviously sign up is your normal sign-up process. And you have your calendar here. The calendar, you've already had your channels. So to Agile challenge, just go Here. Channels, which on this page you just go to connect channel. If you click on the Connect channel, these are the options that you have. Shop five, Pinterest, LinkedIn, instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Google business profile, TikTok. And they have this really cool star page here. Let's have a quick look at this first page is a really great option. Basically showing mind very quickly. This is one I've just started to set up. Our haven't added any content yet. But you can have things like YouTube videos. Oh, it's sort of images and stuff. It's basically just like it's like a one-page option for all your links and everything. You can put all of your social media links on here, your main website. By now buttons all these types of things so they're really good at it. This is on here as a free option. If we go back to the channels again, just show you very quickly. If you basically just click on Twitter, e.g. I've just disconnected mine and just can reconnect just to show you how it all works. I was pretty much pretty quick. It was quicker than the other apps. You might have to go through a few security checks, but because I've already had a hole, reconnected my Twitter account to this. He basically just, you just click on it and it automatically connect. So now my Twitter account is connected, my Facebook page, my Facebook profile. So all I have to do is come on back onto publishing. Let's say I want to add a post here or this. You basically just kept whichever channel as you want. Obviously I can add up to three. I can link up to three. These two. Thanks. So basically, I would just start typing my post in there, could add images, add a video customized for each network. So e.g. if it goes a little bit over the word count for Twitter, I can edit it just for Twitter. Doesn't necessarily fit my Facebook post. And then schedule it for whenever I want to schedule it. And it can be as very specific time, date or whatever. So it's absolutely perfect. And of course, you can simply, if social media is a big part of your business or your lifestyle, then you can simply spend an afternoon knockout a whole week, or even amongst worth of social media posts, and then just leave it. And then that's it. It's all done. Which is a really great way of managing that type of side of your business. So buffer app, I think, is definitely worth checking out. You may want to check out some other options depending on your budgets. E.g. Canva may be a better option for you. And hopefully that will save you a lot of time and help automate your life. 10. How About Automating Your Food?: Fruit preparation can be one of the most time-consuming things of all. Now, I love preparing a really nice meal. But that sometimes when you just want to get food on the table for the family or for friends, and then get on with the rest of the day. So if we can automate part of that process, we can potentially save significant amounts of time over a year. Gone are the days when we have to go out foraging for our own food, hunting giant mammoth, or having to even just grow our food and the back yard. Now, there are lots of things in process that can help us save a considerable amount of time. But also gone are the days when there's someone at home. Often a woman, we know, someone at home who's going to prepare all those meals. So then we come home from work there on the table ready. Because often we have in a household where the two adults are having to go out and work corner these days when we can all sit down and enjoy a meal every single night together. Maybe once a week we can do that if we're lucky. Actually, most of us live like this where grabbing food on the run, running to work, running from work, running from meetings. We're going to pick up kids from school, whatever it is. So over the next few videos, I'm going to share with you a few tips on how we can save some time in meal preparation and hopefully save a significant amount of time over the coming year. 11. Sorting All Your Meal Panning: Whether it's for a family or whether it's just for yourself to do a weekly food prep is one of the best hacks and time-saver as out there as well as a serious budget saver. If you're on a very tight budget, e.g. you can re-plan your meals over a whole month to the absolute letter by doing monthly, sorry, a weekly meal prep, where you get something like this. You can see this image here and then basically you just put it in the fridge, leave it. You come home from work, or you're a long day doing whatever and you've got your meal pretty much sorted. All you need to do is just walk in the microwave or heated up however you want it. Now, it's beyond the scope of this course on how to do an exact meal prep. And also it depends on the type of diets and the type of budget that you're on, the foods that you like. The great thing is, of course, with the Internet, you can just simply Google or very specific mill type. And you'll see a lot of videos on how to prepare that. So e.g. here I've got vegan, high-protein meal prep, and there's absolute tons of videos. So I could go through and get loads of ideas on depending on on my budget, to my scope, the size of my family, e.g. and also the other complication is you may have different people in your family or that you have to cook for the have different dietary needs. Again, those sort of things that you can do. Now, of course, the problem with this approach is that you have to take something like a whole Sunday afternoon out to do all this. But I can tell you if you've never done this before, you just put on your favorite audio book or your music, or your podcast or whatever, you just get down. And the great thing is you can cook it all in bulk as well. You can do a massive casserole and that can be several meals and you can do massive pot arise rather than cooking rice on one day then another day, and another day. So it's not exactly automation as such because you still have to do the process upfront. But the automation part comes in where you on a Wednesday night, she got home from work and you've got all your meals already prepared, ready to go. And that's a great thing. So there's sort of sort of automation right there. I'm really other than obviously the ingredients and the utensils to cook your meal, the only other thing that you need other than fridge, is basically just something like this. Some sort of containers that can hold all your meals. Makes sure they're recyclable because we want less waste in the world. And then you just invest in loader these and you're good to go. Now, the other part of this puzzle is what cook and trying to automate recipes and ingredients and all this type of stuff as much as you can. One great website that I've been using is this core big oven.com. And there's lots of websites out there that are very similar. I just find this one is most helpful for me personally. And what you can do with this when she signed up, you can have a planet that's paid is really reasonable priced. It is upgrade to the pro. It's basically $25 a year and you basically get this calendar thrown in there. No ads and various other tools. So it's definitely worth doing if you find that this website is helpful for you. Okay, This is really, really cool option. This website that I absolutely love, where you basically have, you can import your own recipes from other websites. So let me show you how to basically you go to add recipe. As I slowed it, I'm going to show you. So I found this on the BBC website, which is basically meal for one, vegan meals. So I'm just going to show you that counseling for pretty much anything. So you basically just would copy this address here. So you put it in here. And then you click Import. There you go. You've imported this recipe now from the BBC website or whatever website you choose to use. It's very cool and it will save it to your recipes. So obviously you got all the information here that you need. But the really cool thing is you can add it to your plan. If you have the paid plan, which is about $25 a year, you can click on that and you can add it to your plan. But the only thing that I really love is that you added to your grocery, grocery list. So you click on that little icon there. And it gives you this option here to add to the grocery list. Now it might be that, well, I've already got a lime in the fridge so I can just use that so I don't need to buy that. You've got some ground cumin, you don't need to buy ground cumin. Then you add that to your list. Then you have your list. And of course, over the course of a week or if you do mama shop, e.g. you build up that lists quite significantly, but you know then that, that when you go to the shop, but that's what you need to get. Obviously, you can print it out. You can invite others to participate in the list, let's say your spouse or your partner, or when your kids come in and they want to add some meals, that type of stuff, That's really helpful. So that's like a really helpful websites, again, is not necessarily automation, but what it is is that is helping you to save a lot of time and effort in your meal planning. If you put the weekly meal prep and this website together, then you can save a significant amount of time. Then in the next video, we'll show you how you can take this to the next stage and save even more time by automating this grossly list annual shopping. 12. Taking the Pain Out Of Grocery Shopping: Okay. So you've got your meals all sorted out. You've got your shopping list all sorts out. You got your meal prep all ready to go. They just need the ingredients. So is there a way of automating or at least just saving time and effort on how to do that. Well, one of the amazing things is now with the Internet, you can just sit at home, do all of this online, and then put in your order for food and get it delivered when you want to. Now, I'm sure most of you have already done this at some point in your life. But on top of all that, it's all these other services as well, like Deliveroo and Uber. So you can see that Uber, e.g. Uber Eats. Now, you can actually do your online shopping and order groceries. That way. Not only just meals, but also, yeah, you can do like your online shopping. This is the big supermarket near me. And it's the same with delivery room. And obviously depends where you are in the world watts of options you have available, but you've probably got something available. We can order your shopping list online. So asda is a big superstar. By me. It's got absolutely everything that I could want. I can just simply do. Go here to my, to my list. I've already created less. I've got ten meals in there. I can go through then I can go onto my eyes the shop, and I can put that in there. The great thing about that is that it saves that shopping list for next month. So e.g. if I wanted to repeat the whole process again, again, just the same or if there's one or two meals that I want to replace, I can do that, but then all I have to do is come in here again and then just click on the Options and re, order the same ingredients for the same meals, which saves a significant amount of time each month when I'm doing this meal prep. And then of course I then just pick my slot when I want it delivered to my front door, make sure I'm in, pick it up, put it in the fridge and the cupboards, and that's it. And then if I plan that correctly, let's say Sunday afternoon, I'm gonna do all my meal prep. I want it delivered, say Saturday evening, so it's all ready to go. I've got it all there. And now I can do the whole thing, can be automated and can be put on some sort of automation. Now, I know it's not exactly set it and forget it. Automation for meal prep, this, this model. But it's pretty close. It's the best you can do. And of course, the last option is Amazon. Amazon groceries. The great thing about Amazon groceries, if you remember, if prime, which are not at the moment, but you can order something and it can automatically order that each month. So if it's something like say milk, e.g. like this one here. You can just think, Okay, I want this every, every fortnight delivered automatically because I know I'm going to use it. And you can just automatically be delivered to your door. So that really is set it and forget it. It's not the same as doing like a big shop with a supermarket because there's things like perishables that you might want to put, those non-perishable things that you use every single month or every week. You can set that and forget it. So putting these three things together. So you put in your your grocery list for something like big oven.com, e.g. you can do that. You've got your meal prep all ready to go, and then you put that into your main supermarket shop by doing those things all in one go, Let's say one, once a month, you are going to save quite a significant amount of time and fill food prep. Now we're going to look at a couple of other options of what you can do for your food prep. But this would be the big the big main one, e.g. 13. Automate Local Economy, Environment, and Grocery Shopping: Another great way to have food delivered directly to your door. But also that's a lot more environmental, healthy, seasonal, and potentially supporting local businesses. And the local economy is to set up or to sign up to a box scheme. Now, if you don't know are Box scheme is, It's basically local farmers are producers, will collaborate together to form a delivery service to the local community. And you will get a box delivered to your house weekly or monthly or whatever it is that is in season because he's grown locally and as I say, supporting local businesses, farmers and that type of stuff. So it's sort of a feel-good factor as well. The great thing is you just set it up and you can leave it pretty much on automation. Automation by delivering to your door every week or two weeks or whatever it is. I don't really have to think about it. I'll just show you a few examples. Now this is the one that is near May big town called Bristol. Where I, where I left hand, they have this sort of local, it's called the Bristol, Bristol veggie boxes. And its various companies that have come together and form this sort of co-operative, I guess you call it. And you can pick medium, small, large, whatever it depends, or you can personalize the top events that you want. E.g. if you're like me, absolutely hate celery. Whenever they put seller in these boxes, I'm always like, Oh, give it away to my neighbor or something. It's not just there's other projects I can go in there at a daring stuff like that. It's basically your local shop in Brazil lot more as I say, sort of environmental and supportive. Now, I believe in the states they have something called community supported agriculture. I obviously I'm not in the States. So I don't know too much about this, but if you are based in the states, then maybe you want to check out something a bit more. Run this, this is called the frankly farm collective. I guess if you just Google your area and CSA food or boxes or something, and it works pretty much the same way. You pick the size of your box. You make your payments is delivered to your door and you enjoy it. I felt one of the positive is about this is to say the feel-good factor, but also the idea that you have in veggies that is in season and locals has got less air miles. And it's also still quite interests and you don't always know what you can get an often. The veggie is not the sort of fade that you'd buy in a supermarket. It might be a little bit weird shaped. It's just different. And sometimes you get like unusual varieties of potatoes or something as well. One that is actually owned by friends of mine in Australia is this one. So if you are Australian-based, then please check out their their their product called organic angels.com. And they've been released for number of years. And yes, Basically again, is very much the same type of thing. The big one in the UK that a lot of people have heard of is referred organic farms. So I believe they have a series of farms around the country that they supply for their products because obviously a much bigger enterprise and your local farmer down the road. I think just having the positives are quite obvious. Including the one that's often the surprise factor that you sometimes get weird and wonderful veggie in there that you didn't quite expect. The negatives I guess could be used sometimes get, let's say you get a pumpkin. This time of year is autumn now, it's coming into Halloween. When I'm recording this, you maybe get pumpkin squash, and then the next week you get another pumpkin squash. And the week after, I might get another pumpkin squash. And you don't need so many pumpkins and squashes, right? So that's sort of like the negative. You can end up having a bit of a glut of one particular type of edge. Or you might get quite a lot of loads and loads of mushrooms, e.g. and you thinking, Okay, well I'm going to do this. It forces you to be a bit more experimental with recipes, I think, which is sort of fun. But if, if, if the whole purpose of this course is automation and saving time, then that may not be necessarily a thing that will happen from there. So really, I would advise just to sign up and do one or two and see how you get on as a family or if you're single, you know, as yourself, I think can be quite fun coming home and having a box on your doorstep to open. But as I said, it really depends on your own lifestyle and the way that you live, and how much of a particular type of fruit or veggies you particularly want. So hope that's helpful. 14. 90% of All Your Food Needs on Autopilot: So if having a box of food delivered to your front door, isn't that exciting really? Or again, would still be too time-consuming for the type of lifestyle that you have. One of the other great options which seems to have been really on the rise over the last few years, is this idea of having pre-prepared meals uncooked to prepare, I should say, purified ingredients for meals delivered to your door. Now one of the big ones in the UK is HelloFresh, which I've actually used in the past. And the way that this basically works is that you sign up and you have the, the ingredients for each meal, so you prepare the meal at home. But let's say a meal asks for a tablespoon of coumarin, e.g. where rather than going out and having to buy a whole jar of cumin. It will come with literally a table, a teaspoon of cumin for your recipe. So you've always got exactly the same amount that you need for that particular recipe. The great thing about this is of course, there's no food waste. And you have exactly what you need in the cupboard for when you need to cook it. You go through the process, you pick the meals that you fancy, and then it's delivered to you. So, on the one hand, is Hattie phenomenally convenient that the only thing that they don't do is literally cookie for you. So if you look at some of the recipes here and you sort of pick the date that you wants. This is the odor Hello, Fresh website. Of course. This is how they work. And then you can, you have a choice of types of recipes that are available for that particular week or a particular slot. So as you can see, there's quite a lot of variety. And as a saved from using them myself, you can pick anything from just like burgers and fries. Two more world cuisine type of things. I don't eat meat. So one of my criticisms of this is that it was a little bit limited from that perspective. And also you pay the same price if you have a heavy meat recipe than if you have vegetarian recipe, which still seems a bit off to me. That's just my own personal gripe with this. But for me, it's not a problem at all. But if you don't eat meat, it's worth checking out and making sure that this matches your so unique thoughts. And obviously, there's a lot of other organizations now that I've got on this bandwagon as well, I've just, I just basically Google a couple of myself. And these are based in the States as far as I'm aware. They're pretty much the same type of thing. If you do have obviously different options, I've organised of companies to sign up to our device. Obviously, you want to look at things like a recipe variety and prices and see how all that matches up. This one here, home chef, Rachael Ray. I don't know if she's particularly famous or something as a chef. But I love for her Blue Apron, this one that looks so it's in the states. Lots of respite here. That's sort of interesting recipes. And that's how long again. So and I know there are ones that have been set up for specific for specific, specific diets as well. I've seen a vegan one. I think there's a gluten-free one as well. So again, if that's something that's important to you, then you can check those out. Yeah. So as I say, this is an incredibly, incredibly convenient way to have really healthy or meals that you really enjoy with no waste. It all pre-packed. And as I say when I signed up myself here they come with sheet. And you just literally follow the recipe sheets step-by-step and it's incredibly easy. So this is, I say, other than actually literally cooking the meal for you, this is the simplest you can possibly get in automating your food. 15. Shake It and Go, Meals Sorted: Now, another option can be a simple meal replacement formula, I guess you call it. And again, these seem to be on the rise over the last few years. Is simply you'll have a bag of dust almost, I guess, and then you just mix it with water or milk or something, give it a shake. And that is basically provides all the nutrients that you need for that particular meal. Again, it's phenomenally convenient and easy to do. So people will often take these to the gym or to work or something like that, just to something that's very quick and easy and you don't really have to think about it. It's just there when you need it. There's quite a few of these products now on the market It seems. Again, I had a quick look. This one is in my protein and I haven't tried this at all. But it's fairly not particular pricey. And as I say, you basically just mix it with Watson. And the way you go, it's got quite a lot of reviews. People seem to be pretty happy with this. On Amazon you can find various options as well. There's ones that are sort of related to specific diets and ways of eating like the keto, ready-to-drink. So there's another one. What else? We have this one here, affinity state. So again, this one came up as a quite high when I started looking into this a bit more reputable company, company. That one. And the one that I use is I, which you may have heard of is hue. Now, I must confess that I am a massive your Evangelist. So that's sort of my caveat for saying this. I have here pretty much two times a day for breakfast and lunch, and then I'll have like a main meal of an evening. It again, it just helps with the way that I eat the type of food that I eat. I don't eat meat, e.g. or dairy is really helpful. It provides all the nutrients I need. A incredibly easy, cheap and incredibly convenient and a soup one. They have this soup as well. When this first came out, I was like, he'll suit you joking, right. But it's not It's not as if your powder, It's totally different. Again, with a black e.g. you. It's really high in protein. So if you're a bodybuilder or something like that, It's really helpful. And so it's just incredibly convenient. I can sort of tell enough people about you. I really wish more people would try it because it's sort of, the funny thing is, is sort of sounds really disgusting when people say what it is like. Yeah, she's Powderly and mixed with water. You just drink it. Because our yen no, I'll leave that one. But actually is really good. And I advise you to try it at least once and give it a shot. You can buy these bottles suit in lawsuit markets, typically in Britain or don't know about the rest of the world. And you can give it a try, even just that for like a few dollars or whatever. If we might say it's incredibly convenient. And if your goal is to save time, money, effort, then who is really something that you should at least consider even if you just have it if you go to the office or something, just have it as a meal replacement for that. I'm just not really a meal replacement because it is a meal. Yeah. Okay. So I've already checked that out and maybe check out some of these other brands and see what you think. 16. How To Hire a Private Chef (and Not Break the Bank): So here's a really cool hack for you. Imagine having your own private cook. Now, I'm not talking about like in Victorian times or, or medieval times when they had several cooks in the basements and do nothing, they prepare these elaborate meals every lunchtime or whatever and pay them minimum wage or even that? No, I'm talking about the idea of maybe hiring someone once a week or once a month or once every couple of weeks, whatever it is, I'm preparing all your meals. Now, you've probably seen hacks where people will do a weekly or bi-weekly sort of massive food cook on the Sunday afternoon. They'll cook all their meals for the whole week or the period of time coming up. It's basically the same type of idea, but it means that you're not spending a whole Sunday in the kitchen preparing 2030, whatever elaborate meals. This is the whole idea of saving time, same resources, spending time with your family or whatever it is. So the idea of hiring your own Cook is not as crazy as it seems. In fact, it's not really as expensive as most people. But first of all, let's have a look at some of the reasons why you may want to hire your own cook. Okay, so first of all, it could be all about health. Now, what I mean by that is that you may have certain dietary requirements that are quite tricky to find interesting meals around. So if that's something is a real problem for you, then again, maybe it's a real advantage to hire a cook who can specialize in particularly their diets. So for myself, I don't eat meat or dairy. So sometimes I get into a bit of a rut and it's a bit and it's easy for me to go out and buy a sort of a plant-based burger and fries or chips, I would call them. And I can still get into a bit of a rut. So my health, the sulfur there. And also we come home from work or nighttime. The last thing you want to do sometimes is cooking a healthy meal. It's a lot easier to just put something in the oven, leave it, and have it any can be full of salt and fat and horrible stuff like that. So to have someone who comes in once a week or once every other week or whatever it is, and cooks you a whole healthy meal that you can then put in your freezer or in your fridge and heat up when his time is a real thing, real gray thing to have overlaps a little bit with variety. Now again, you can come home from work and you fall into that trap where you have just three or four meals that you do on a row to basis because they're easy, quick, you know how to do it. And you can just do almost with your eyes closed. But imagine having a cook who was passionate about food and they will do want you to try a variety of different foods. And again, that could overlap with your particular dietary requirements. So you put all those things together. Again, you've got a great potential package. Now the other thing that may surprise you, it's actually quite valuable. So you, sorry, has a value there. So again, you imagine how much waste sometimes we have, we buy this whereby there so we never cook it because we're at work late or whatever and it goes off and we throw that food. And then again, by having your own cook, although we'll do, is cook the exact meals that you needed and there'd be no waste at all. Now, a great part of this is that you get to show off. You get to talk to your friends, your work colleagues and say, Oh yeah, my my personal cut and we could call them a chef. Might person will cook that. They're thinking, Wow, they've got a personal cook That's, that's, that's pretty cool. They gossip behind your back about it is still worth it's still a good bragging rights, right? The other thing, of course, is the convenience. It's incredibly convenient to have all your meals prepared for the week or two weeks or a month ahead and you know exactly what's in there. And also, if you've got kids, if you've got family, you've got the convenience of they can just come home from school or from work if is separate to you and they're not reliant on you to make that food. They can just cook that meal and you know exactly what's in it. You know, that it's healthy for them, you know, they fits their particular dietary requirements. Finally, it's time. I mean, how much time are you saving by having your food prepared, ready? Exactly the sort of food that you want, matching the health requirements that you have and all these sort of things. And you don't have to think about it. I mean, if time is money, this is one of the biggest money savers that you can possibly think of. So next question could be, where can you find this amazing cook that is going to sort out all your dietary requirements and all your time-saving or the other money saving. Well, here's a few ideas I've had. Firstly, you might have a friend that's a really good cook. I'm really passionate about cooking. They know you, they know your requirements, then you need what you like, what you don't like, your home life setup. You can just simply ask them, Hey, you know, like once a week or once every other week. Can you do a batch cook for us? We'll pay for the food. Just sort of tell us what the budget is. And we'll give you however much money. Not going to be a real nice earner for someone who also loves cooking. Then the second one, you can maybe try and find a stay at home parents. They may have a young child who, who who sleeps for a couple of hours during the day. And they could potentially, again, have a little side business, little earner. And you can have a nice little agreement with them about budgeting and how much they cost and stuff like that. Again, you could find someone who's in-between work and they just need a little bit of extra income to come in. And again, you can have that conversation. And finally, you could, of course, just go online. We have a quick look now at Craigslist and some of the listings that could be out there and you could contact them for some sort of agreement. Okay. So I'm not in New York, but I don't know. I just folded more exotic for me to look at New York rather than just London. And so I'm on New York's Craigslist. Then you've got New York. And I've looked into services and I've typed in cook under services. As you can see. I've looked at household services and health, and health services. Now, a few things have come up. Of course, look very, very different for the town that you're in personally. And also as a side issue, you may find someone who's quite far away from you, but they'd be prepared, you know, if it was a bad bad, maybe to even post frozen meals to you, matching your requirements that you could then as soon as it's delivered, then put in the freezer and you've got that. So you don't have to be Rwanda. Reliance on someone just down the road can be sort of a distance away, but you have to work on all the practicalities, of course that out. So let's have a quick look. We've got here private personal private chef available. So a quick look at this. We have I'm a personal chef, were a culinary degree looking for more clients. I'm available for catering, private chef, meal prep, and any other cooking events. I can cook a variety of cuisines and can accommodate any dietary requirements. I mean, to me, that sounds absolutely perfect. Let's have a look at another one. Private chef. Let's see what this one is. I kinda got our photos of their stuff so you can go through that. I'm offering personal chef service. That is someone in New York. If you're busy, professional and don't and don't have time to cook. If you're a parent who doesn't have time to cook and make meals for the family, small dinner parties, or if you want to be pampered, I can help, so on and so forth. So again, this is someone who's very professional, could probably matched dietary requirements and all type stuff. So I'm not going to go for everyone. But you can see just simply on Craigslist and there's other services as well of websites. You can look on Facebook, et cetera. Maybe put an advert on a local group in your area, that type of stuff. I'm fine. A personal chef, I think you'd be surprised that it won't cost as much as you think. And again, if you're very busy and it's time-saver, I think having a personal cook, It's one of the biggest hacks that you can do. 17. Save on EVERY Purchase Automatically : So here's a nifty little site that is great for automation, saving time and ultimately saving money. And that's Camel, Camel, camel.com. Okay, with camel, camel, camel, I'm not going to keep saying that you can basically put in a product that you want to buy. Now, at the moment, I am reading the book, which is, which is great, by the way, highly recommended. Learned. A lot of stuff about things that you probably shouldn't know about, but are really helpful to know about. So you search for the product that you want. And this is great if you don't want to buy the product straight away, let's say over the next six months, you particularly on a byproduct. So e.g. you may have a partner's birthday or anniversary or whatever coming up. And you think, I know my partner really wants this particular products, but the hit his or her birthday isn't for another, say three or four months. So you can come to a website like this, but in the product that you want to buy them. And basically, as you can see, the price every so often randomly drops. I mean, why? This fascinates me why it was suddenly drop like this and then go back up, shoot back up. So you can see what you could do is say, I want to pay anyone pay a pound for this book? You put in a pound, or you can put percentages, as you can see, let's say this is ten per cent so that you can press track. And there you go. You can wait until it drops. You can also put in if it's a third party. Say, if you want Amazon Prime, see when we've delivered free, but you, maybe you form a third party. You don't mind buying it used e.g. you may have put that in. You can have another truck there. So you got two trucks there. Then he would just simply email you when the price drops to delete this because I really don't want emails pinging from Amazon old camera, camera, I should say. Now, of course what this is really helpful is if you want something really expensive, let's say a PlayStation. So there you go. As you can see, this go here. So it comes up. That's not so good. Not quite sure what it means. Maybe it means there's 500 there, but it's being free AT. Maybe you can search for it to become free AT. Well, I think the two are there because they're all, none of them are in stock. So it's clearly a very popular. Here we go. I mean, it's not in stock, but imagine it isn't stuck. You can see that on the on the new third-party new, it's gone down to 568 at some 0.7, some 50. You can sort of like say, okay, I want to wait until this comes down four by ten per cent or any drop, you can look up buying it. So something that's quite expensive is really worth doing. So, let's say for Christmas. And the kids really want a new PlayStation. You can basically be quite clever, savvy with this. And six months before Christmas, you could go on, they want to play station and wait until it comes right down by it. And even if it's like three months before Christmas, you've got a good price. How that makes sense. So that can be a really good website for buying products. Now, what you're looking for, really good deals. Thank you very much. 18. Get Auto Sweet Deals Without Thinking : So you may already know about this. These are extensions that you can put on Google Chrome, and I'm assuming UBS put these on other browsers as well. So basically what they are, these little apps that go into your Google Chrome as your busy shopping on the Internet. And they simply pop up and give you discount codes, which can be really, really helpful. And in the past have saved me an awful lot of money. So basically what you simply do is come to the Google Chrome Web Store. Yeah, and type in coupons or coupons and promotion and see what comes up there. Different things that honey is seems to be the one that is the big one, that's the one that's maybe been around the longest. And most people have heard of, as you can see, I've already added it to mine. I've had added a few of these. I would say the only downside is that sometimes if you add too many, that it goes a little bit crazy and you end up getting five different apps popping up, turn it off, you discounts. You can be very savvy and go through, go through all of them, and try and find the one that gives you the biggest discount, which I have done in the past and can sometimes save you quite a lot of money. Now, I have just gone into GoDaddy, e.g. and straight away as soon as you get on there, look, you can see this one called be frugal will give you a 5% cash back. So what you could do is use be frugal quite a lot over the year. And it may add up to you getting quite a big cashback. But if you simply go into your checkout, this is often where they start to really get excited. Right? You can see that straight away. I've got 123. The three of them have popped up. Now, I'm going to do is I'm going to go for each one of them and show you the result I won't make you watch. So we can get rid of this one. High as you can see as soon as you start to click on it. Okay, so that's just cashback. So let's go with that and let's see if any coupons come up from, from this one. Because it'll go through each coupon has on his system and give you an update. Sarah, make you watch all of them. I'll come back after it's finished. Okay, So this particular one has found 3.5% cashback found. So we have cashback here, five per cent. We have another cashback. So actually this one be frugal was, would be the best one. Now another websites, often it will come up with a code and it will have a percentage of the final price. So e.g. websites like my protein, where you can buy sports stuff. And often you end up getting like 1015 pound off there, something like that. Or dollars if you're not in the UK, that's worth it if you shop there. So it's definitely worth having a look at these various apps that are out there. Maybe go through here looking at reviews. Which ones are the really popular ones. So as I say, you can see here, honey, a lot. This 12500 maybe. Well, if you're going through testing them, some of them may be really annoying. Some of them definitely, maybe worth work. You haven't. See here 3,000. This is everyone that I use quite a lot to 4,000 reviews. So that's probably it's very popular. Here. Those are the big ones is seems. Yeah, go through, see how you get on and do make the comments and share any that you recommend. Um, yeah, we'll try them out. Thank you very much. 19. Get Others To Do The Little Tasks For You: Okay. So you have maybe heard of Fiverr fiverr.com. It's been around for quite a few years now. I mean, it did originally start off being that everything on here was $5. And you can literally come here and find the most obscure stuff that people would do for $5. It's changed now. Things are going to be confined. Really expensive gigs on here, but in a nutshell, so you're $112 here. In a nutshell, basically what it does is people will do services for you. Now, where this is really a vantage. There's an advantage and where it comes into play when we're trying to think of automation is what you could do is go through your day or your week and think about the things that you have to do online that someone else could do for you, particularly if it's a repetitive task that's like our no, it's first afternoon. I have to this particular task, again, online, whatever it is you think to yourself, could I get someone else to do this? By itself, that would be a really good thing to do anyway, just to go through your tasks and think, what could I add to get rid of? And there's a good chance that if the answer is yes, you could probably find someone on here for not very much money that would do this for you. Now, on a very high level, we have obviously a personal assistant, so I'll just quickly found this guy. I'm not recommending him or anything like that. I'm just saying I found found his his sort of his post. And you can sort of go through some of the things that this guy would do for you. Okay, So you do social media management, website management, a task management, converting, typing jobs, that type of stuff. So e.g. if you had to do a PowerPoint presentation every week, based on some statistics from your business or something like that. You can sort of get tascam every week, downloaded statistics, put it into a good template and send it back to me. That'd be a really good thing. It'd be really good use of your time. And he probably within within an hour. Within an hour, that would be less than five pounds, obviously for premium. So 15 h a week would be right, about 50 pounds. And that may actually be worth your time. You have 15 h it is, is just, you know, it's like to work days. You begin a personal system for to roughly two days a week that is predict 50 pound, right? So let's have a look. What else is on here. Something a little bit more technical is imagine if you've got a program that you have to use, a work or, or whatever that you've developed and you just cannot get it to work. There's a bug somewhere. You could potentially spend like two days on something quite easily trying to debug something, watching 1 million different YouTube channels going on forums. Or you can hire someone, just highs on a basic level, this guy is less than ten pound. Okay? He will, he will basically go through your program and try and debug it and try and come up with something that would save so much time and money. Hi, I'm about a year ago, I had a website or a WordPress website and I basically did something, a lock me out and there was no way that I could get back into that site and it was a nightmare. Now, I started trying to work out myself what was wrong with it? And I think about 2 h into the task and many, many YouTube videos. I was like, forget this. I managed to get this, this, this guy from Pakistan. He was about 18 years old, like a computer with really nice guy. We checked back and forth. I think it costs I think he charged me like the equivalent of ten pounds. I gave him 15 because he basically within an hour back into my website all sorted. Absolutely. So the other thing I would say is that there's quite a lot of times then I've I've had to share passwords and login details now. Nothing confidential. A credit card details or anything like that, but just passwords into certain programs, into certain websites that I've got my domain name on e.g. I can honestly say I've never ever had an issue. Obviously, you have to be careful. Look at the ratings. I mean, e.g. this guy, he's got five-stars, you've got 58 ratings. There's a good chance that if you gave him confidential information to login to certain websites, then then you'd be absolutely fine. Obviously you have to be careful. Obviously, if it's doing work as a high, high security domain or something, maybe don't do that, but if it's just your own personal projects that you can trust, this can then go for it. So they go, honestly, five is worth coming to some really weird stuff on here as well. That's definitely worth checking out. If you want someone to sing happy birthday to your five-year-old daughter, they'll come dressed up as, you know, they'll send a message. Dress up as SpongeBob or whatever. You can sometimes do really fun voice overs. People who can impersonate celebrities and do a voice-over. Things like if you've got a podcast, e.g. you can get people to do a podcast. I don't know what's going on there. I'm sure there's some legal implication to use that image. Yeah, I highly recommend fiber. It's really worth coming too. And honestly, you could probably save an awful lot of time and headaches as well. 20. Bring Out The Big Guns: Getting A Full Time Assistant: Okay, So we've talked about using websites like Fiverr for finding a person assistant. And I sort of mentioned a little bit of hand about thinking about the tasks that you do on a monthly basis or even weekly basis that you could give to someone else. And I think ultimately the ultimate hacks for saving time for automation is to get someone else to do those tasks for you that you're, that you trust that you're able to give to another person. Now, as I say, you can find someone on Fiverr to do that, but you can sort of take it up a notch. And there's websites like upwork.com where you can really start to look at automating these tasks. Now, you could either e.g. let's say if you had a podcast or something like this where I'm doing videos and I want them to be edited. You come on someone like count and I could find someone who is an absolute expert in that field. And once a month I could set it up with them that they send over the podcast or whatever it is. And it will be in a Dropbox. They would do it, send it back to me and then invoice me and there'll be all automated. That'll be part of the automation process of your media about you begin an expert. So of course then you'd be paying for an expert. So let's have a look at, say, design and creative and what sort of things come up. They're also prices also are available. So let's look in video editing, e.g. so as you can see, these promises are a lot different to websites like Fiverr. You're $100 an hour here, e.g. but if you had a piece of work that was saved presentation to very high inclined, or if you work in the media industry and you've got lots of work on, you just need someone to take this sort of more fiddly bits and the more mundane bits out of your work. Then somewhere like here, I think spending 35 pound dollar, that is sorry to really clean up that video, make it absolutely professional, um, will be worth it. And that will save you a lot of time and just really laborious things in life. Now I don't know about you, but when it comes to legal stuff, I get scared. Something e.g. like tax laws would definitely be worth hiring someone on a website like this, even just for advice. Now, you can see the prices really do skyrockets and I guess it's understandable. It's quite high-end skill set to have. But even here you can sort of get someone for $35, $65. Obviously, you have to check that they are an expert in your particular country as well. I know the law of your country. But again, it's maybe worth, for the sake of the absolute horror that can be tax law, hiring someone. Now, some of the other jobs I have a list here of some of the jobs they can think about. So customer service, e.g. if you have a small business and you need someone just to do customer service to answer all those really awkward questions from customers. Audio editing, calendar management, just managing your time, your effort, content creation, social media management, blogging, bookkeeping, graphic design, customer service. As we said before, we said that event, events, coordination, research, online courses, email measurements, e.g. you could definitely hire someone and maybe that would be more of a fiber type of job. Let's see what happens if we put in email management for a second. So it can be quite cheap. And they still say, well, they'll do for $5. That's maybe not so good. We don't want that Dewey. We also want just to create a basically want someone who professionally manage and organize your emails. I see what they'll do. Okay, here we go. Whoa, clean up your emails and organize your inbox, nor to fit it in our inboxes. Absolutely crazy. I think for 20, 2020 pounds, that'll be worth it. What will they do here? Now, what you could do here, e.g. is contact this person and say Listen, I see that you didn't gig. That's great. Well, I really need is someone to go into my emails once a week, clean out, unsubscribe tool, the rubbish, clean it out, put it into folders, ping me the ones that seem urgent, etc. You know, just just sort out my e-mails and you could pay them or no, say 2020 pounds a week or something like that. And you'll be on top of all your e-mails. That will be definitely worth because e-mails are so time-consuming. So here, there is some ideas of how you can really start to automate your life. I'm really take it to the next level. I hope that's helpful. Please make some comments and share any of your own tips or ideas. 21. And Finally...: So that's it. That is a ton of ways that you can automate your life, from simply automated coupon codes to being tweeted when the price drops on an item that you want on Amazon. Or to automating your whole food prep by getting your own chef. There is tons and tons of info there. It looks at the beginning. Please share your thoughts, your ideas, your comments, how we can make this course even better. If you've developed a tip, your self automation, share that and maybe I'll add that into an updated part of this course and also share your comments, your photos, of ways that this course has helped you with the class project. Again, thank you very much for watching. My name is Paul Tilly, and I really appreciate the time that you've spent watching one of my courses. Thank you.
