1. Introduction: Hello, everyone. My name is Eva. I am a crochet jewelry artist based in Singapore. Hana Crochet Design is my jewelry line. These are some of my micro-crochet jewelry collection. I made this crochet bracelet, hair clip, earrings, as well as necklace. I've been making these micro-crochet jewelry since 2017. Basically, micro-crocheting is the same as regular crochet. We are using the same crochet pattern using the same crochet term. The difference is only the trap and a crochet hook size. In this class I'm going to teach you how to make this crochet flower bracelet. I will show you all the materials such as the size of crochet thread, size of the hook, beads, and crystals, and also other materials that you're going to need to make these earrings. I'm going to teach step-by-step starting from the basic features such as how to make slip knot, how to make magic circle, how to make treble crochet and other basic stuff. Then after that, I'm going to demonstrate how to crochet all the flowers. The written pattern, as well as the diagram will be provided. Lastly, I'm going to show you how to attach this bracelet together. I'm very excited to show you how to make this bracelet. I hope you will like this class and let's get started. 2. Lesson 2 tools and materials: In this video, I'm going to share with you all the tools and materials that you're going to need to make this crochet bracelet. Let's start with a crochet thread. The crochet's flower, I used crochet thread number 80 from DMC. I used this beautiful light being color, and the color code is 761. If you can find DMC thread in your country, you can replace it with cotton sewing thread. For example, this Gutermann cotton thread, I'll use the similar pink color. The color code for this tread is 1115. The crochet's small flowers, I used regular embroidery thread from DMC. I chose lighter pink color. The color code for this is 23. Let's talk about other tools and materials. You're going to need a set of jewelry plier. You're just going to need a cutter, a flat plier, and a round plier to make a loop. I'm using this soft grip atimotorola crochet hook and the number that I use is 0.5 millimeter crochet hook. A four-millimeter jump ring, a lobster class, and also a gold filled chain. A gold filled help in with a flat end. Now I'm going to share with you all the beads and crystals that I use on this bracelet. For the center part of the flowers, I used these four millimeters Swarovski crystal. The color is AB white. Six millimeter clear round Swarovski crystal. I use this light purple round Toho beads size 11 for the center part of the small flower. Last but not least, you're going to need these fabric stiffener to block your crochet flower. That's all for the tools and materials. In the next lesson, I'm going to teach you about the basic crochet stitches. 3. Lesson 3 Learn how to make basic crochet stitches: Hi everyone. Today I'm going to demonstrate some of the basic stitches that we're going to use to make flowers. On this tutorial I'm using my crotchet thread size 40, and this one is clover hook size 1 millimeter. We'll start with slip knot. Wrap the yarn over your finger, insert your hook underneath the first yarn, draw the second yarn, pull it through, and then you're going to let go the yarn on your finger. Then to tighten the slip knot, you pull the tail of the track. To make a chain you wrap the yarn over your hook, and then you pull it through the loop. Wrap the yarn over your hook and then pull it through. Yarn over, pull it through. The next stitch is called single crochet. I already made my first single crochet here, so what you have to do is you insert your hook into the next stitch and then you yarn over, pull it through. Then you have two loops on your hook, yarn over again, pull it through the two loops. Insert your hook into the next stitch, yarn over, pull it through. You have two loops on the hook, yarn over, pull it through. The next stitch is called half double crochet, so you're going to yarn over once, insert your hook into the stitch. You're going to yarn over and pull it through. You have three loops on your hook, you're going to yarn over and pull through the three loops. We do it one more time. Yarn over, insert your hook into the stitch, yarn over, pull it through. Now you have three loops on your hook, you're going to yarn over again and pull through the three loops. The next stitch is called double crochet. Yarn over once, insert your hook into the stitch. Yarn over, pull through. You have three loops on your hook, you're going to yarn over, pull through the two loops. You have two loops on your hook, yarn over, pull through the two loops. Let's do it one more time. Yarn over, insert your hook into the stitch, yarn over, pull through. You have three loops on your hook. Yarn over, pull through the two loops. Yarn over, pull through the two loops. The next stitch is called treble crochet, so you're going to yarn over two times; 1, 2, and you're going to insert your hook into the stitch. Yarn over, pull through the stitch. You have four loops on your hook, you're going to yarn over, pull through the two loops. You have three loops on your hook. Yarn over, pull through the two loops. You have loops on your hook, yarn over, pull through the two loops. Let's do it one more time. You're going to wrap your yarn around your hook two times; 1, 2, and then you're going to insert your hook into the stitch. You're going to yarn over, pull through. You have four loops on your hook, yarn over, pull through the two loops. You have three loops on your hook, yarn over, pull through the two loops. You have two loops on your hook, yarn over, pull through the two loops. The next stitch is called double treble crochet, so you're going to yarn over three times; 1, 2, 3, then you're going to insert your hook into the stitch. You're going to yarn over, and then pull it through. You have five loops on your hook, you're going to yarn over, pull through the two loops, yarn over, pull through the two loops, yarn over, pull through the two loops and the last one yarn over, pull through the two loops. Let's do it one more time. We're going to yarn over three times; 1, 2, 3. Insert your hook into the next stitch, yarn over, pull through. You have five loops on your hook, you're going to yarn over, pull through the two loops, yarn over, pull through the two loops, yarn over, pull through the two loops, yarn over, pull through the two loops. Next one we are going to learn how to make magic circle. Wrap your yarn around your finger like this, insert your hook underneath the first yarn, and then draw the second yarn, pull it through, twist, and then chain one. This is your magic circle, and I'm going to make six single crochet into this magic circle. I just made six single crochet into the magic circle. Now to tighten the magic circle you're going to pull this tail, and then you're going to make a snip stitch. These are the basic stitches that we're going to use to make our crochet flower jewelry. Thank you for watching everyone. 4. Lesson 4 how to crochet small flowers (4 petals flower): In this video, I'm going to teach you how to crochet four petals flowers. I'm using this light being embroidery thread from the MC. To crochet this flower, I'm just using one strand of embroidery thread. In one skin, there are six strands but you're going to pull one strand just like this and to crochet this one strand, I'm using 0.4 millimeter hook but if you don't have, you still can use 0.5 millimeter hook. I'm going to show you how to do this with bigger crochet thread and crochet hook so you can see it better on screen. We will start with the magic circle, wrap the yarn over your finger, grab your hook, insert your hook and then hit the first yarn, and then draw the second yarn, pull it through, and then you're going to make a chain one. Into this magic circle, we're going to make eight single crochet. This is your first single crochet, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and this is the last one, 8. Then I'm going to tighten my magic circle, by pulling the tail of the tread, and then I'm going to end this round with a slip stitch. Next, I'm going to start with our first petal, so I'm going to make a three chain, 1, 2, 3, and then I'm going to make treble crochet into the same stitch. Next I'm going to make five doubled treble crochet into the same stitch. This is your first double treble crochet, 2, 3, 4, and last double treble crochet, 5. Next I'm going to make one treble crochet into the same stitch. Next we're going to chain tree, 1, 2, 3, and then I'm going to make a slip stitch into the same stitch. Next, I'm going to make a slip stitch into the next stitch. One more slip stitch into the next stitch, and this is where we're going to start with our second petal. Same thing again, I'm going to chain 3 and I'm going to make treble crochet into the same stitch. Next we're going to make five doubled treble crochet into the same stitch. This is your first double treble crochet, 2, 3, 4, and last one, 5. Next I'm going to make one treble crochet into the same stitch, and then I'm going to chain 3, 1, 2, 3, and then I'm going to make a slip stitch into the same stitch. Next I'm going to slip stitch into the next stitch and make a slip stitch again into the next stitch and this is where we're going to start with our third petal. The third petal's pattern is exactly the same as other petals, so I'm going to speed up the video. We are almost at the end of our third petal. Same thing again, I'm going to make a chain 3 and then I'm going to slip stitch into the same stitch. Next I'm going to make a slip stitch into the next stitch and then slip stitch again into the next stitch and this is where we're going to start with our fourth petal. Again, the pattern is exactly the same like other petals, so I'm going to speed up the video. We almost finished our fourth petal. Same thing again, I'm going to make a chain tree and then slip stitch into the same stitch, and then the last step is, I'm going to make a slip stitch into the next stitch. This is the final result and this is how the flower looks like, if you're using one strand of embroidery thread, and you need to crochet four flowers for a bracelet. 5. Lesson 5 how to crochet big flower: In this lesson, I'm going to teach you how to crochet this flower. I'm going to show you how to make this three petals flower, as well as the four petals flower. to make that you're going to need crochet track number 80 from DMC. I I this pink color and the color code is 761. As part of a crochet hook, I'm using this 0.5 millimeter crochet hook by the Tulip company. For video demonstration, I'm going to use thicker thread so it can be seen better on screen. First I'm going to start with a slip knot and then I'm going to make nine chains. So this is my first chain, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and last one, 9 and then after that I'm going to make the double crochet in that third chain from the hook. To make a double crochet, you need to yarn over ones and then insert your hook into the chain and then yarn over, pull it through and then yarn over, pull through two loops, and yarn over, pull through two loops. Next I'm going to make a trouble crochet in the same stitch, so I'm going to yarn over two times and then insert your hook into the same stitch, yarn over, pull it through, yarn over, pull through two loops, yarn over, pull through two loops and last one, yarn over pull through two loops. So this is our first trouble crochet. I'm going to make another one. This is our second trouble crochet. Next, I'm going to make one trouble crochet in the next stitch, and a double trouble crochet in the same stitch. To make a double trouble crochet, you need the yarn over three times and then insert your hook into the same stitch, yarn over, pull it through, yarn over, pull through two loops. Yarn over, pull through two loops. Yarn over, pull through two loops and last one, yarn over, pull through two loops. Two double trouble crochet in the next stitch. This is the first doubled trouble crochet and then this is the second double trouble crochet. Next I'm going to make a trouble crochet in the next stitch, yarn over twice and then insert your hook in the next stitch, and then you're going to yarn over and pull through the loop. Yarn over, pull through two loops. Yarn over, pull through two loops, and yarn over, pull through two loops. So I'm going to make a double crochet in the next stitch. Yarn over once, insert your hook in the next stitch. Yarn over, pull it through, yarn over, pull through two loops. Yarn over, pull through two loops. A half double crochet in the next stitch. I'm going to yarn over once and then insert my hook in the next chain, yarn over, pull it through and then I'm going to yarn over and pull through all the three loops together. A single crochet in the next stitch. You're going to insert your hook in the next chain. Yarn over, pull it through, and then I'm going to yarn over and pull through two loops together. Then I'm going to make a slip stitch in the same stitch, and then I'm going to make a single crochet in the same stitch. I'm going to flip my crochet work and then we're going to work on the other side of the chain. I will start with half double crochet in the next stitch. A double crochet in the next stitch, I'm going to yarn over once, insert your hook in the next chain, and then yarn over, pull it through, yarn over, pull through two loops and yarn over, pull through two loops. Next I'm going to make a trouble crochet in the next stitch. I'm going to yarn over twice and then insert your hook in the next chain and then yarn over, pull it through, yarn over, pull through two loops, yarn over, pull through two loops and last one, yarn over pull through two loops. Next we're going to make two double trouble crochet in the next stitch. I'm going to yarn over three times and then I'm going to insert my hook in the next stitch. Yarn over, pull through. Yarn over, pull through two loops, yarn over, pull through two loops. Yarn over, pull through two loops and last one, yarn over pull through two loops. So this is our first double trouble crochet. Next I'm going to make the second double trouble crochet in the same stitch. Then I'm going to make a double trouble crochet in the next stitch. I'm going to yarn over three times and then insert your hook in the next stitch and then yarn over, pull it through, yarn over, pull through two loops. I'm going to yarn over again, pull through two loops. Yarn over, pull through two loops, and yarn over, pull through two loops and then in the same stitch, I'm going to make a trouble crochet. So I'm going to yarn over two times and then insert my hook in the same chain. Yarn over, pull it through, yarn over, pull through two loops, yarn over, pull through two loops and yarn over, pull through two loops. In the last stitch I'm going to make two trouble crochet and a double crochet. So we will start with the first double crochet, and this is our second trouble crochet. Then after that I'm going to make a double crochet in the same stitch, yarn over once and then insert your hook in the same stitch, yarn over, pull through, yarn over, pull through two loops, and last one yarn over, pull through two loops. Next I'm going to Chain 2, 1, 2 and then I'm going to make a slip stitch in the same stitch. Next I'm going to make a slip stitch along the middle stitches. I'm going to insert my hook in the next stitch, and then I'm going to yarn over and then pull it through, and then pull through the loops. This's our first slip stitch. Same thing again, I'm going to insert my hook in the next stitch, yarn over, pull through and then pull through the loop. Insert your hook in the next stitch, yarn over, pull it through and then pull through the loop. Insert your hook in the next stitch, yarn over, pull through the loop. You're going to repeat these steps until the last stitch. That's it. This is how our first petal looks like. I'm going to continue with the second petal. I will start with the Chain 1. Then after that, I'm going to continue with the same pattern as the first petal. I'm going to Chain 9. Then after that I'm going to make a double crochet in that chain from the hook. Then after that I'm going to make two treble crochet in the same stitch. A treble crochet and a double trouble crochet in the next stitch, two double treble crochet in the next stitch. A treble crotchet in the next stitch, a double crochet in the next stitch, half double crochet in the next stitch, single crochet in the next stitch, slip stitch in the same stitch, and then make another single crochet in the same stitch. Then I'm going to flip my crotchet work and then work on the other side of the chain. Since the pattern is exactly the same, so I'm going to speed up the video. I'm already at the last stitch, so I'm going to make to travel crochet in the next stitch. This is my first treble crochet. This is the second treble crochet. Then after that I'm going to make a double crochet in the same stitch. Then I'm going to Chain 2 and then make a slip stitch in the same stitch. Then same thing again, I'm going to make a slip stitch along the middle stitches. This is how our second petal looks like. Before you continue to the third petal, you need to chain one, then after that you follow the same pattern. This is how the flower looks like if you're using crochet thread number 80, I just finished my third petal here. You need the crochet three flowers for these three petals flower. To make this four petals flower, after the third petal, you're going to make a chain stitch and then you can continue with the petal. The pattern is exactly the same as the rest of the petals. You need to crochet two flowers for these four petals flower. 6. Lesson 6 how to make flower charm: In this lesson, I'm going to teach you how to make this flower charm. I'm going to start with this three petals flower. What I'm going to do is I will sew the corner of each petal together. All the three corner of the petal will be attached to one another. It will look something like this after you've finished with it. To finish it, I will make double knots. Then I'm going to trim the tail of the thread. Then I'm going to use this handicraft bond and I'm going to apply it on the knots. If you live in Singapore, you can get this handicraft bond at Daiso. This is how the flower looks like and I'm going to do the same thing with the four petals flower. Once you are ready with all the flowers, we're going to attach this to the headpin. I'm using this AB white four millimeter Swarovski crystal. Insert it to the headpin. Then you're going to insert your flower, and then I'm going to push the end of the headpin with my fingers to create 90 degree angle. Cut the end of the headpin. I'm going to leave about one centimeter so I can make a loop. Take your round plier and start rolling the headpin. This is how it looks like. You're going to do the same thing with all the flowers. After this, we're going to prepare the small flowers that we crochet with embroidery that we trapped. Same thing, to finish it I'm just going to make double knots, trim the end, and then apply a little bit glue on it. For the center part of the flower, I'm using this light purple Togoshi beads. This is size 11. I'm going to insert through the headpin. Then after that I'm going to insert my flower. I'm going to stack two flowers together. This is optional, if you want, you can just use one flower. For the final steps, we're going to apply these fabrics stiffener onto the crotched flower one by one. I just use a small droplet and I mix it with a little bit of water. Then with the tweezers, I will apply directly onto the petal one-by-one. You're going to do the same thing with the bigger flowers too. I will also attach the six millimeter round Swarovski crystal onto my bracelet. I'm going to insert this through the headpin, bend the end of the headpin to create 90 degrees angle, then you're going to cut the end of the headpin. You're going to leave about one centimeter and then take your round plier and start rolling the headpin. Once you've already finished with all the flowers and the Swarovski crystal, in the next lesson, I'm going to teach you how to put everything together. 7. Lesson 7 how to attach the bracelet - finishing up: In this lesson, I'm going to teach you how to put the bracelet together. First, I'm going to prepare my jump ring, the lobster clasps, as well as the gold-filled chain. I'm going to open my jump ring and I'm going to attach this onto the lobster clasps. I'm going to attach the end of the gold-filled chain. Then I'm going to close this jump ring tightly. On the other end of the chain, I'm just going to attach jump ring. Next, we're going to attach all the crochet flowers onto the bracelet. I'm going to start with the bigger crochet flower. You can space them up because we are going to attach the smaller flowers in between the bigger flower. In between those flowers, we're going to attach this six-millimeter round Swarovski crystal as well. I'm going to start to open the lock of the flowers one by one. I'm going to attach the flower on the middle part of the bracelet. Then I'm going to grab my round plier and we're going to close the loop real tight. I have my first flower here. Next, I'm going to attach the second flower. Remember to space them up because we're going to fill in the gap with the smaller flower. I usually try the bracelet on my wrist just to make sure that the space in between flowers are not too wide or too narrow. Next, we're going to attach these smaller flowers in the space between the big flowers. Then after that I'm going to attach this six-millimeter Swarovski crystal. I'm going to put the first crystal in the middle of the bracelet and the other two crystals near the last flower charm on both sides. We just want to make sure that everything looks balanced. This is how the bracelet looks like. I hope you like this tutorial and hope to see you in my next video.
