1. Introduction How to make a hair bow no tools just fingers: Welcome back to easy Art and floral projects. Today we're going to make a to loop bow. This is what a to loop bow looks like. It's got a nice little not in the middle. And it's the same on both sides. So there is no backside. This is a great little bow to use to tie on packages, cards, or even glue a little hair bow buret on the backside for a child's hair? 2. Supplies needed: For this project, you're going to need some scissors, some double faced satin ribbon. This is called number three ribbon and the floral world, or 2.7 millimeter width. But it's shiny on both sides. Going to need a tape measure. And I like to measure this out about 19 ". I already cut mine, but from front-to-back is about 19 ". And that's about the length, 19 to 20 ", which you need for a loop to loop bow that size 3. Make the bow: This is really easy to do. It doesn't take any Tape or wires or needles and threads or anything. It only takes about 2 min to make. You may have to watch us a few times to really get the hang of it. But once you do, you'll be making a lot of bows. So let's get started. We're going to put the long end up above us, away from us. And the shorter end, it's gonna be about three 4 ". And that's the week and allow for the tail, whatever length tale you want. If you want a longer tail than what we have here, you just cut more Ribbon, maybe 25, maybe 30 " and you can have a nice long streamer. Be wanted to go down a child's back on her hair who has really long hair, or to tie it around a present. For now, we're just going to leave about oranges three 4 ". Make a peace sign with your fingers. Do it again. All we need is to fingers and thumb to make those bow. So we're going to brace it. Make it nice and firm and top with our little P sine of our fingers. And we're going to pull under the index over the middle finger, back through over the index. That gives us two loops for that side of the bow. And back down. The middle finger. We're going to grab on with our thumb right here. Make sure it doesn't slip anywhere. And then we're going to take this end and put it between these two fingers. See where it's coming out. Pull it back through. So he again, it's going right through here. Pull through. And then you bring that and around and make through that little hoop you see there. Pull it through there. Take it out the other end. Hold tight. And that's starting to form the metal not of your bow. We're just going to see us out as back-and-forth. It's nice and firm. Now it's done. Well, the other tail board, your fingers. And Once he pulled off your fingers, you just pull the ends and flop out the sides. It's the same on both sides. And it's ready to have the streamers cut or you can leave them long. But if you want to cut them, I like to fold the satin ribbon in towards each other. Hold it. And then where they're meeting, you cut up on a slant. He give that little fishtail to the ribbon. Take the other side, do the same thing. Folded in half, cut on the open ends and take your scissors and cut another slip. Then you have fish tails on both sides 4. Add a hair clip: So now it's time to add a hair clip if you'd like to. If you have long streamers, it can go on the back of a child's hair or you can clip it really anything. And it looks just like a nice accent. I'm going to show you how I do it on a stuffed animal since I don't have a girl here to put in her hair. But once it's on the back, you can either slide it through that loop like I showed you on this one, or it could be glued on. And you just pinch some hair and just slide it on. And it's just adorable. It only takes a few minutes to make and it's a special gift. You could even sell them in a little gift store if you wanted to you can make them in all different colors. It just clips right on, slides right in. Super easy, gentle on the hair. I just love it. Cut accent to do for anything that you want really. 5. Accent a Wine Glass: This is a fine idea. You can take a wine glass and tie a ribbon around it that she made. Use one that you have some longer streamers that makes sure you tie a little not in the bow with a streamers before you try attach it to the line Glass and then just wrap it around and you tie it on. You didn't cut the streamers whatever length you want. This is a nice idea for if you're having a lunch in for a bridal shower or a wedding or a gift for somebody. And such. Just a cute little accent piece with a couple of loops. And just make sure when you go to cut your bow to the length that you want, that you fold in the ribbon sides and cut on the open edge and an upward slant. To give you that fishtail finished look. It just dresses up the bow a little bit. If you'd like it that way. 6. Conclusion : So in conclusion, I'm just gonna go over everything just once again. Make sure you by the double faced satin ribbon so that it's shiny on both sides. You can choose whatever color ribbon you like. For whatever you're making. You can use a lot of different colors and make a bunch of different bows, but go ahead and get started. It doesn't matter what brand you buy. Just make sure it's a number three ribbon or 2.7 millimeter width. And it is shiny on both sides. I'm going to say it again because it makes it nice and silky and pliable. You measure out the length that she like. To get. Short loops like this one. Short streamers, I mean, you do 19 20 " for these longer ones, you just pull that longer. But the bow still makes the same way. It's double sided. You just measure it out and then cut it. Once you have put the long and above you. The shorter end with a streamer at the base where you're going to start making your bow. Pull that longer. If you want longer streamers. Just cut the ribbon longer. Put it between your two fingers and thumb. Make your peace sign. Laid over the top of your fingers. Hold it with your thumb. Pull it nice and tante. Rapid over your index through. And then over your middle finger. Under. Then over the index. That's gonna give you the two loops on that left side. Under. This is important. Grip it with your thumb right there. So it holds nice and tight. Put it between your fingers. You can see it come out the other side. As you're still holding tight. Push it through. Pull it. Let me come back around. Make sure you go between the two fingers to pull that through an up seesaw. It just makes the loop a little tighter in the center to hold it in place, back and forth. Pull the other streamer for it. And then gently pull off the loops of your finger one at a time. Then you can fluff it. There you go. Same on both sides. Cut your streamers to the length that you like, giving it that fishtail. If you wanted to cut it on a slant and you can too, but if you'd like the little fish tail, finish on it. Fold in and cut on the open side. The cut in an upward slant. And you can just make as many as you NYK as an accent piece, which I put on my little ducky, which is KID put a hair bow on the back. I mean a hair clip on the back. You just click your hair. Or if you like a wine glass, tie it around. But as I said, make sure that when you tie it around, just cut it to the length that you want after it's done. That's it.
