To give you all a fun fact, I actually started my journey on Skillshare as a complete beginner and I went through some great classes and some "not so great" classes so I think I have a better understanding than most on how to help you all on your creative journey! This has been my passion for the last couple of years and there hasn't been a day that I haven't opened an animation program. I've worked with YouTubers, TikToker's, Influencer's, Entrepreneur's, and companies creating advertisements and content for their brand. I hope that through my courses, you will be able to develop into great motion designers/animators/creators and maybe even teach me a few new things ;). A... See full profile

1. Introduction: Hello, everybody. My name is the menu. Well, and welcome to my skill share class so little about myself. I'm a content creator, mainly focusing on animations and motion design. I've been doing it for about 2 to 3 years. I built success. I built a following on tick talk on YouTube on Instagram, and I've done work for companies for other content creators. Teoh build up my skills and better my journey through animation. Now, to be completely honest with you all, I didn't always start off where I am. I've had the worst grade for as long as I could remember in art classes for a middle school all the way till I had stopped doing art in the freshman year of high school. I didn't really start going back deep into it until my college years and I developed a love for it in an appreciation for animation. And I really felt like that I could do this with us, my mind into it, you know, and I hope that you all who are struggling with creating animations on tech saga GIs in general, I know that if you put in enough time and effort into your craft that there's no way that you can fell and have terrible art. However, you didn't click this class to hear about my terrible grades. You came here to learn how to create engaging animations on tech talk. The reason why you should have a high interest within Tic TAC is because it's emerging, gets one of the powerhouses within the social media scene, and the best time to start posting content on Tuck is right now. And with this class, I will equip you with the tools and the necessary information to do so. This class is for everyone who wants to learn how to make an amazing and engaging animation on tic TAC. It doesn't matter what animation program or animation style that you use. What you learn from this class will be a value to you. Not only would you learn how to make an engaging animation on tic tac, but at the end this course I will also be sharing my tips, advice and knowledge on how to gain exposure and create an audience on tick Top. So be sure to stay to the end for that. But without further ado, let's get started 2. Class Project: for the class project, you'll be creating your own tech talk animation. I'll be guiding you through the process, starting from creating your account, finding an audio and an idea to work around your animation. Then I'll also show you how to create it through my way. Then I will also show you how to export and upload the animation top. And then finally, at the end of the course, I'll share you my tips and knowledge as faras gaining exposure and creating and maintaining a following on tic tac. I want to clarify the all that I want your an emission to be unique in your own. I don't necessarily want it to be just a copy and paste of what I do throughout these lesson. So your preferred stop animating his Anna Matics, wreaking traditional by to whatever stop motion, Go for it. I love that I want. You ought to be creative and make this tic tac animation your own all. Then I'll go for wherever your creativity goes. Is the best way to do this telling. Don't forget that once you complete this course and you finish your talk animation, make sure you uploaded in their private tab within this course, I would love to see what you all create, and I would love to share it on my social media platforms. Now, once you ought to keep in mind that the preferred resolution is 13 50 by 13 50 10 80 by 1920 I'll go into more detail about why those sizes are important in the future lessons, but let's move on to the next lesson. 3. Materials: Now, the materials that you need for this course are your phone with the TIC Tac AB install and whatever. You used to create animations, whether be a animate after fags, photo shop, procreate or even your sticky notes. If you do sticky note animations, whatever it is, that's what you need. Now you wanna fall along with my process of creating animations. I used Adobe after effects, a XP pin tablets and my computer. Now my project files and resource links will be down in the resource is tablet. In this course, feel free to check them out. You can download, um, using as reference whatever you need. And without further ado, let's move on to the next lesson. 4. Creating Your Account: are you all? So let's go and get started. So this is the continent for this class? It's blank. I'm not following anyone. No one's following me. I'm not. I didn't like anything cause I wanted to start you all off in the beginning, because when you click the three dots on the top right, you'll see that there's so much that's going on that it may confuse you or or maybe limit you because there's so many things that you can do from this point forward, right that can help. Your following that could help your account. That can help pretty much your creativity. So forgive me if I'm rambling, cause there's a lot that you can do from this point. So I'm just gonna cover the most important stuff that I feel like you all should know, starting out that it took me months to find out about. But let's go and get to it. Here we are at the home screen, and of course, it shows the pop up tapped to create a new video, and we'll talk about that later on the lessons when we start Teoh, you know, find our audio and create the video But for now, let's just talk about the home screen. So if you click on edit profile, you see that there's two options you can do. You can do, change photo or change video for your profile account. So if you click on change photo, you can upload a video. You can ah, you can view the photo that you currently have, or the ones that are in your Camero. Or you can take a photo straight from the camera right there. You could just take a photo like Instagram and uploaded. I want to show you all that there's also a video option where you can have your profile count display video, which will be great for animation. So it could be like your little intro, right? Just something that can catch their eye that can separate you from the pack of other account. So, uh, besides that, I definitely recommend doing one of those. You could do a photo right, or you could do a video. I currently have a photo right for for my main account, and then I currently have, um, from other kind of have just the limit. But if you look closely, I don't know if you can see it. I'm going, Yeah, if you can see it, there's rain coming. So that's my video version, right? Important thing to remember right when you do when you do choose a photo or a video is that when you choose a video animation, make sure that it's 24 frames per second. Because I've had a lot of problems with life 30 frame per second animations or something that was high resolution, right? Or how are high follow size? It tends toe like play it really slow and really Laghi and ah, that's not good. So So make sure the frame rate is slow. My 24 frames right, 24 frames of lower. And make sure that the file size itself is low as well. Now let's go back to other profile. Let's talk about this stuff. So the name that's pretty much the name when your top right it's not your user name is pretty much just a name that people will see similar to like how you do instagram work snapped. The It's not the user name is just the name that ah, that you go by the nickname that's easily changeable the user name. You're able to change that, too. But it's it's a little bit harder, right, because it's a user name right on a website, and that's something that people will have to search, right? So it's kind of like your you are link. That's the word I'm looking for. So I definitely recommend to change the name normally focused on the user name unless you have, like a big branding type of issue. But I don't think that should be a problem now. This right here says Ticked up dot com backslash from Rand at Emanuel, right? You can click that you can copy the link and you could send it to whoever you can share your profile like that. So whoever, uh, that's a great way to spread. Spread your profile. You can also share videos to It's just whatever you prefer now bio. So right there is just something that Teoh interest the audience up in the to catch people's attention. If you want to like Segway to like a merging website or even like your YouTube, I don't think it's necessary for you to because there's literally to other options for Instagram and YouTube. You can leak those. But for your bio, um, it's a great way to do it. You know, just a little about yourself. A lot of people tell like you know what? What exactly they're constant is, and I've seen people put their YouTube in their Bible to because, you know, that's it's a lot harder to avoid looking at your bio because that's on the top of your profile. I want to bring this up real quick. So for your instagram, right, you can log in with your instagram. But when you log in and you link your instagram to your and your YouTube, it will pop up like this. So you see my YouTube. It shows a YouTube icon. And if I link my instagram ILO show on Instagram icona, I believe as well. So that's a great way to you that actually need update my bio. I mean, that's this is when I was just starting out like, eight months ago. I definitely need to update that because I don't feel like that's very enticing. It's just says I make animations now that's all that I have to say about the profile. Let's go to go to the three dots on the top so you can manage your account. What I what I definitely recommend for you all that that's creating like a brand, is to switch to a pro account pro count. Mainly you can see your analytics. You could do a lot more things that you can do on a regular account and, uh, see a lot more information such as your gender your like, I'll show you mine on my own. My main account. So my main account, you will see you know, analytics will pop up. So you click on analytics. It will show you, you know, you know, your video views your followers, right, your profile views. Then it shows like you're trending content that you posted not to mission shows your your audience right when you go to followers. So my mind is very ah disproportional of a lot of, ah, of a lot of women that off that are following my content rather than men. So it's a good way to just see like OK, like direct your attention towards you know, something that will appeal to women more than or girls more than men are men or boys and look if you look down below, This is a new feature that the edits that they added sound your followers listen to. So this is a great way to make a sound that's great for that, for your demographic that you're building right instead of just going all over the place, you know, just choosing an idea which you can do. But I definitely recommend that right there, you know, because your audience will love listen to that sound rather than you just, you know, throwing paint on the wall and seeing what sticks as far a sound. But we'll talk about that in the next lesson. Let me see if there's anything else that I want to talk about, Uh, that that I feel like it's important. Okay, I talked about that. Manage my count, privacy and safety. That's just make sure that yours is if you're making concert, everyone make sure it's public. You know you could do duets, which is just someone reacting or someone making a video to your video. That's a great way to do that, because share profiles, toe whatever like you consider shares. Whatever social media platform, dark motives, just changing your your screen from, Ah, you know, to a darker to a dark color. 01 more thing at an adding an account. So, uh, you see above, I have three accounts attached, the ones so I don't have to log in to the APP log into the Pacific account pretty much when you add an account, you saved that information, right? You log into that count on and then you click. Add account right on top of that account, and you have to accounts you can log into back and forth. So it's like you could just switch from Tab the tab brother in, you know, logging out of one account and logging back in. It's a feature that a lot of gaps are doing now, like Instagram, even YouTube. So that's something to keep in mind as well. If you have multiple brands, if you have multiple content, you know that you want to attract, you know, different audiences, and it's just a lot more accessible. But besides that, I feel like that's all that I think you should know. And let's move on to the next lesson. At this point, you should have been able to create a tic tac account and also customize it the way that you want to. Now we'll move on to finding an audio and creating a topic for your animation. 5. Finding Audio: All right, so let's get started. So here we are at the home page of our profile. Khan again. Now let's look down below and you see the tap to create a new video pop up, back and forth, right? It is very enticing. So let's go and click that. And you see that it brings up this whole, like just a lot of tools that you know, is very confusing. So let's go over them quickly. Top riotous flip where you flip the camera. You can change the speed with speech whole, um of the video. You can add filters with the beautiful at another type of filter. Um, such as, like, you know, eighties effect, anything like that with the filters tool, you can time when you start recording, and then you could use flash often on, and none of that is actually important for creating animations, so I'm not gonna show you how to do that. Now let's talk about sounds, cause that is important. So when you click on sounds, you look up there and it brings a whole another catalogue. As far as you know, whatever audio you want to use for your animations and you know, you could just click the play button to hear some, but I actually want to talk about the recommended. So these are the songs that are recommended to me when I first started the app right when I first created it. So I know 100% that these air the sounds that talk is promoting, right? But I think about it is that since we have no audience, no, we have no ranking and this faras our account being legitimized, you know, we just created it. We have no videos. We have been in use. Any has tax that If we try to use any of these recommended audios, it's gonna flop as far as exposure because there's so many other, uh, profiles that have a lot of followers and a lot of eyeballs on it that are using these sounds because these are the sounds that are popular on the app. But it's good to know, as far as like what they recommend you to dio. Now, if you look at the play list right below, it shows you the trending sounds. Um, right. Some things that are trending right now to show you the featured featured sounds on Tic Tac new releases love, hip hop travel, just different genres and it goes down till I even Latin on bee. You know different genres of sounds that you that you may want to use right for your animations. That's kind of like the first half, right? And then there's also the of the banner of top, where there's like people that pay for promotions for their sounds. You can click on one if you really like their song and you want to animate towards it. But let's talk about favorites. So favorites. I have three songs, right that I favorite from, ah, from botched recordings before this one. So uh, so I'm sorry about that. Please forgive me. Ah, but these are the songs that I favored it now favorite, it means it's just sound that you find on another person's video that you want to save. And it's a lot easier going about it this way because it's trust me. I've been through a lot of experiences where I've scrolled through the app I love the sound , and I'm thinking, OK, let me just follow that account. Let me just like this post right puppet in my likes or I'm just I hear the sound and I don't stop. I just keep scrolling on my for you page and it disappears I can't ever find I can't even find that count. I can't find the video because if video may be taken down for explicit content that's not suitable to be shown on the AB, or it may even be the sound itself got taken down because that can happen. Where sounds that ticks off, didn't have the license to use, ended up on the app and end up blowing up. And you know the distribution side of the music industry. Cut it off. So it's always good to favor them just to keep a line of what sounds that you that you're kind of like on the verge of creating a topic or creating a theme or even just, you know, creating an idea for your animations? Well, by the way, the search bar on top is just, you know, to search up. No, just like if you such a potato for a sound or he research up an artist, a public songs that you can use right, So let's go and get out of that and let's go over to Ah, couldn't go to the to the home page, right? I'm not following anybody. So they're giving me creators that they feel like I would like right or creators that air training on the app and the scores of sauce celebrities and stuff like that. But when you go for you, they give you videos based off the videos that you liked. The videos that you that they feel like you like, based off of who you follow his business like algorithm for you to, you know, just giving you recommended videos. This is actual sound that I got from it all that you hear right? I like this out. So let's go. And, ah, favorite it for this for this video. So you click on the record at the bottom right corner right there shows you all the videos that people use with the sound shows you how many videos have been used with this sound, which is 110 k which is actually really low. That's a really low number for the amount of videos for a song. When you think about how many people were on this app, click the ads of favors to add it to like your your your bookmark tap you click on the bookmark That's right next to the edit profile. You Ah, you go to videos, right? I don't say any videos. You can save Hashtags, right? You can eat and then sounds and then you can even save effects that you use on your videos . So here it is. Here's my catalogue for sound and here's the sun that we're actually going to be using for ah, when I demonstrate How I animate is ah, Sunday best. And when you click on a three dashes on the right, click on it again, it pulls up all the videos for it as 180 Gate que videos, which is that's a lot. Uh, that's a lot. That's a lot of videos. Now let's talk about how to transfer the audio, so whatever device that you're on, so let's talk about I bet you can't animate on iPad. You can get the sound checks into your iPad by actually recording the audio right from your iPad. You can have the song playing from your phone and then also record it with your iPad and then that way you have the audio directly on your device, and then you could just, uh, listen over it or you can have it in your animation software on your iPad like rough animator or flip a clip and you get animated like that, right, Because you may be wondering, but when you do that, when you do it that way, the audio is not so clear, Right, cause you're recording it from another device and audio. Isn't this crystal clear as it would be when you're listening on the app? And that's true. However, once you finally post the animation right on your device, you can add the soundtrack that way. And you could use the master audio, which is what I would prefer that you would use right? Or if you're using it on your computer, I actually, uh, you can record it that way from your microphone on your computer because you just need a sound to animate to. You don't necessarily need the perfect high quality ah, soundtrack. So that's pretty much it. So let's go ahead and move on to the next lesson where we actually start animating the project 6. Starting your animation: before we begin creating the animation, I want to say that I'll be using Adobe Aftereffects to create this animation. And I know that is not everyone's preferred way to create animations, and I love that. Listen, like I said in earlier lessons, I want everyone to use their own preferred program or preferred way of animation. So I want to give you a heads up for the ones that are not going to be following me step by step for creating this animation that I want your resolution size to be either 10 80 by 1920 or, if you plan on creating a post on instagram using your talk animation, make it 13 50 by 13 50 resolution size. However, I would highly recommend for those who have their own animation processing techniques that they watched the next couple of lessons of how I cream I animation because after effects is a great program, and it can highly enhance whatever animation that you're creating. So it's kind of like the icing on the cake. It doesn't have to be just the bulk of the animation. It can just make your animation pop, and some of the techniques and some of the effects that I use for my animation could very well give your animation that pot that it needs. But without further ado, let's get started in creating the animation. All right, everybody is. So since you're here at this lesson, you decided toe all along with, um hi, create my projects and maybe learn some things that could be valuable when you create your animations. So I'm just going to jump right into it. I'm not really going to talk about, you know the like, give you, like, a whole introduction into after effects. If you're not familiar with it, I'm just going to kind of go along with it and then explain some key, some key things that you need to know when creating an animation or order to fall along with my animation. Right. So this is a full kind of this is the default panel, and I'm also using toe full of shortcut keyboard shortcuts. So whatever you see that I'm doing right when I'm pressing control Z or control, foresee, whatever. Whatever I'm pressing, you'll be ableto create in action. You'll be able to do it because this is the default keyboard shortcuts if I'm pressing buttons and I'm trying to create in action, please forgive me because, you know, these aren't my personal keyboard shortcuts. So be patient with me because I'm not familiar with the default. It's been a while since I've used to fault, but we're still gonna get it done, and we're still gonna have a great time trading his animation. But, ah, I'm just gonna go over just like some some key, important stuff right now. So you see, right here this is all blank. You're probably looking at like, OK, where do I start? Right. There's so many things and it doesn't even show a campus. And that's because you have to create one. So you've got a composition, then you got, ah, new composition right here. And this is how we can create our canvas. So I have it right here 10 80 by 1920 because that's the resolution size that I'm going to be creating this Ted talk animation. Now, I mentioned earlier that you can use 13. 50 by 13. 50 or 10. 80 by 1920 and honestly, you could use whatever that you want, But it is just Those are the sizes that I would I would recommend that you use, you know, 30 50 about 13. 50 that none of your animation gets cut That gets cut out when you upload the tic tac or Teoh Instagram on your post speed, I use a music donated by 1920 because I kind of like for this animation that I'm doing right now, I like I like the fact that it covers the whole phone, right. You're able to see what with your whole phone. And I have an app that I purchased where I'm able to resize this size toe instagram even though it hasn't showed fully on the my post be it shows everything, and it's just kind of just forced it to convert to that size. But, um, I personally recommend either these two sizes because that Kennedy, by 1920 is the full size for tic Tac. And 13 50 by 30 50 is ah, the full size for Instagram. And they're both like and you can also post the full size for that 13 51 30 50 on tic tac and just won't cover the whole screen. But that makes sense. Hopefully, I'm not confusing now. Ah, let's go and move on. And this is the frame rate 24 frames per second. That's what I would recommend that you do for this animation. Um, but you could do 30. It's what's whatever you're comfortable with. Ah, I I'm using 24 frames per second, and this is my duration for the time. This is how long I want to composition to be. I'm not gonna bump that up to 10 10 seconds and ah, because that's how I think that's how long the audio is in the background color. I'm choosing white because this is just a default. And keep in mind that this necessarily when you export this animation, Please, please, please put a shape layer. I'll put it actually put a background behind your assets. Don't don't rely on this because when you upload it ah, it's ah. When you export it, it's gonna export as ah like like a blank background. It's gonna show black because this is just something to contrast your assets while you're while you're creating your animation within aftereffects, it's not the back. You can't export the background color with the animation. You have to create one so Ah. All right. That said, let's go out in this makeup, right? I wanted to be my makeup. Whoa! All right, OK, good makeup. All right, but then it comes to and, ah, rocks that loss are gonna up, um, import the audio, which is control I and feeling good audio. And then we're also going to upload. Um, we're gonna actually, uh, so I can't talk today. We're actually gonna import the animation assets, so it's in lessons, I believe. Ah, if we don't score anything for the future lessons, even though it's all pre recorded, uh, let's go to All right, there it is. Less than six Rough and Medicare have been Lesson six, lip sync. All right. And also, I just remember that when you upload your when you when you add the default panel for after effects is not gonna have these voters. These are the photos that I pre made before I I started making this class and these air what I feel like we're like the necessities. I like my stuff a little bit more organized. You can go about it however you want to. I was just over the over the over the time that I've been using after effects. I've just gotten so much headache because I was just importing, importing, importing, and I wasn't organizing, and it just it slowed down my work flow. So this is very valuable to me. And just to create a photo, you just go right here. And then you just, uh you know, just rename it and then you just import into that voter. All right? So let's go ahead and drag out our animation assets. Now, you may be wondering, Oh, how do you have the lip sync? Right. I created this. Ah, this rough animated character and the lip sync in adobe aftereffects because I just like to rough it out in Adobe Enemy as far as, like, the actual animation. And then I like to just go over it and in after effects. But it's not something that you have to do. You have to use that program. Um, I'm actually actually lowered the the I can't think of the name of this, the work area where it is. What? Help me out. This is the work area. So pretty much when you love something, right, you press space bar. It's gonna loop it within that work area. And I think I got it right on. The money is where it ends. Well, what do you know? I'm gonna I'm gonna roll. Okay, so there we go. All right. So this is it just looked right. It's just my character moving this is up and down. And then his hands were up because he's gonna be holding a tick dog symbol. And, ah, we'll do that later in and when we get in, later lessons of animating. So this lip sync right here? I created this lip. Sync within Adobe animate. I used their auto lip sync function. I'll post a link to a tutorial on YouTube of how you're able to do that if you're interested. I'm not gonna really go over how to do that. All right, so I'm gonna end right there. Basically, we covered how to begin. And after effects and port, our assets created organization system and and cover some of the basic interfaces for you to start using after effects. So within the next lesson will start creating our animation and go over how I do my animation process. So see you in the next lesson. Oh, but first I want to go over a few things. So I'm on the timeline here. This is where you can Ah, this is like the timeline for your animation scroll. It's similar to like like an editing program or even Adobe animate an animation program. But all right, so let's go and lower the capacity to lower the opacity. You can just Christie, right? It brings up the opacity and then you just lower down. So, like that, D, I believe. Yeah, I'm Obama City. Let's go in and start ah, creating creating the shapes for this character. Now I use I use the method called path animation, where you just create shapes and then you manipulate human. You manipulate points of the shapes at certain key moments of the timeline, Thio, Thio animate it. It's what I like to use the most. I'm not very good at drawing clean roofs, and it's a lot more simpler than doing get on any program that I've done, and that's going to do it for this lesson. So I'll see in the next video 7. Animating My Project: So let's go to start with the pants. All right, So Right there. Um, I I used the pencil, and I'm just gonna go over like this, right? Ah, and I don't really like to sell, like, look at the color. I like books and online's So you click on this, Phil. Then you just click on the no line. Ah, the no fill option. Right. And then there, right there you consider line. And the line is really small for me, so I just like to bump it up. It's white, so you can't really see it. Just gonna black, right? Okay, let's go and start. So pretty much What I did was ah, when you click on this with the pencil, it brings up these two vergis ease, and you just you just manipulate him like that, and then when you want to move on to the next part, you just click it and you can ah, click and drag to move it over like that. Um, I kind of like just doing ah, like, clicking and then just manipulating like that, right? Then let's go over here. Right. And you see Oh, I didn't I didn't bring with the vergis is like a different others. Not for now. To manipulate the vergis ease. You hold Ault while on the pencil, and then you just click that and it brings up the Vergis is and then you can just move it down like that. All right. Ah, Aereo. Then make sure you click that Burgess sees. Make sure that's highlighted right before you move onto the next one. The next part. All right. And now you're saying that Oh, I have Teoh. It's not showing the other parts. So what does not want to say it's not? Ah, you have toe get to Just for every curve. You had to just, you know, make a point for that, right to make, to make a Pacific her and ah, I also recommend that you that you hold all for one vergis ease because right, if you want to manipulate one curve because if you don't and you just move that it's gonna minute, you just moving without holding out. It's gonna move both sides. And it took me the longest to figure that out, to be honest with you, So I'm giving you I'm giving you the keys early So you just hold all and then you just go right there. You know, you just manipulated. Just fix it and ah, think that's that's it for this part. I'm just going to skim ahead it. There's some parts that I feel like you should know. Then I'll just I'll tell you. Okay, so here we are at this part, and ah, you see that if you try to go right here, all right, if you try to go right there and then try to go back, Gonna look weird, right? It's gonna look weird. You can do this, but for me, it looks it looks weird. Ah, right. Because then you have to go right there. And then you had tea. Oh, you've Teoh go back down. And it's not It's not really looking like like, you know how how you may want to. So what I do right here is I just like intentions. I just skip over and then, Ah, once I draw the full shape Well, got a hold up, remember? Hold all. And then you go right here. No. When he goes to this part, what I would do is if you look thes air like the contents within that shape, because this is actually a shape layer. What I would do is just I'll just create another shape right now they're shaped to within this shape, layer one, because I kind of want this all within the same. Ah, like like a one. Like the safe that I'm gonna add. I want them all in one. Like I went a little bit more organized. I'm all about organization, guys. So I just added right here, right. And then I just Ah, I'll animate it with that. Right? But I don't really have to worry about that to the end, right? I usually do these, like, little details at the end, cause I'm more focused on doing the main motion. But you're able toe. You could do it right now if you want to, But you just gotta keep in mind, toe. You know, that's ah, to animate it and, you know, not forget about it. But I usually do these at the end. And, you know, if you notice that it's it's pulling out thes square blocks right now, if you want them toe if you want, like the like, if you want them to be like Round Reich says I prefer around our around endings You goto you had a stroke. Um, I bring this up a little bit. You got a stroke, and then you go toe the line cap, and then you just turn it around right? And I like doing round for, like, everything I don't unless it's like a like a corner that I want to get, right? Oh, yeah. Also, if you notice like if you try to move it like this, you're just move it. It won't, like, necessarily rotate. And ah, what you do is you just press g, right, cause that's the shortcuts of the pencil. Then you just move it like that, right? So you like that. And, ah, how it all I would also do it over here too. Oh, no bubble. You could just ah, cook on shape, too. And then I think, do it again, right? Yeah. Just make that make these both the shapes and then do the same thing for the line cap stick around and then group these together. Not a group, not a group Two shapes together, right? You just ah, you click and then you hold shit and you click the other one and then you just group shapes . Now these air both end. It's right. And then you could still I think you could still customize them. Yeah, you could still customize them individually. This is grateful organization and Oh, yeah, One more thing. Like if you click off, right, If you click in the black, the black sub area and you try to make a shape layer, it creates a whole new one you can do that is just for me. When I started doing a lot of these, right, A lot of these Schaffler's it tends to get really messy. I usually make a whole new shape layer for, like, a whole new part of the body, right? By the way to zoom in this holds E and then those zoom out. You just posey and all. Yeah, I usually ah makes a making a whole another big say Blair for, like, a whole another part of the body. So I would use this for, like, the torso. Ah, the arms and the head and maybe the hair, too. Um, I usually I usually I love organization. Be honest ago, so I'm gonna go ahead and ah, skip along and create the other shapes and I'll come back. Oh, by the way, a quick note. Um, I also liked ah label to reach the name my layers, right. For organization. That might be the most like the word that I said the most in this whole lesson this organization. But in our food Ah, rename a layer, you just click on it, then you press answer. Then you just name it, summoning this pants, and then I'm going to name this. Ah, I guess body body underscored torso. And that's gonna do it for this lesson. So I'll see in the next video. 8. Animating My Project 2: All right. So here we are, at the arms. And if I tried him like I I purposely moved these the wrong way, right to go to go about a certain feature that I feel like it's important for you all to know if you're doing this type of animation. So right here, if you try to move this point No, just like it, Like, transforms it right. It just moves. It distorts it in a way, right when I'm when I'm trying to move a certain point to this height or to this area. So what I have to do is you have to go toe in the search bar right there. You type in path, right? Then you click on path and, ah, this is this is called path animation, right? Cause we're gonna be moving. Gonna were gonna turn this on later on, and then we're just gonna move. We're just gonna be moving it along the time line, right? Like key frames gonna be moved, baby taking key frames and then just moving it along the time line. But that's ah, that's for probably the next lesson. But this lesson just going to show you how to move points. Okay, So well, you have to do is when you want to move over to see right, you have to click and drag, right? Usually I just move it a little bit. I actually have a little bit. And then I just move it like that. That's high movie could. Yeah, I'm over just like that. And then, Ah, for this, it's because this Verdecia is too long. Right? So you have to hold all right to move. Just that one part. Can you just bring it down? Right, Okay. And it doesn't line up perfectly, so you have to move this look right. There you go. I like that. And then I'll go right here and then just bring that down a little bit, and then just bring that bring that up a little bit, because I kind of wanted to end right there, Right? And if you look at, it's a little bit Jump jump, Lee. So what? I would I would do ologists give it a little more space. Give a little more room to brief. Right? Smooth it out. There we go. You know? Looks pretty small to me. Oh, and I forgot to mention if you wanted to delete a point, right? Resuming a little bit. Um actually, yeah, let's go and make this a little bigger. He wanted to delete a point. You just hold control and then on the pencil control, and then you just leave it like that. By the way, there's a little short cause that you can do, you know, to speed up your workflow. So right here I have the same. I have the eyebrow right here, and it's gonna be the same eyebrow on the right. So you just what I would do is I would duplicate it by hitting a troll d and then just going right here, dragging it like that. You do it like that, or you could just right click, then go to transform then, uh, before is on early. There you go. And then ah, you see, it's not really lined up. So where it needs to be on this frame, but it's gonna be changed. Its gonna change throughout throughout time so we can worry about that later. Just it's more important just having the assets, right? Just make sure that is all, like on the starting frame. There we go. All right. So here we are. We drew out all the all the parts for my character except for the mouth, because I have the lip sync. There's a there's a couple of things that I want to talk about, right? So I accidentally drew the head and the hair on the same layer, right? And you won't be able to animate it like this way. So what I would recommend that you do is I would duplicate it. And then I would go into the hair. Tulare and I would delete the shape one right, cause that's the head shape. And then I will go into the hair, the first layer with hair right where the mistake was and I would believe, shaped to, which is the hair. Now and then I would rename this hair Tuller. Not that yeah, I would remain this one hair and then I would already named ah, the previous layer where the mess up occurred. What that would rename that head. Now, now look. So now that's the head layer. And then that's the hair lair. So if you make mistakes like that, it's OK and ah, it's it's great because You know, that means that you're still in the path of learning and ah, those are some quick ways to fix it around. And that's why I prefer using after effects over other animation of the software's for animation. Because when those mess ups occur, when you draw the same when you draw like the head layer or the hair later on, the same layer and adobe animate its's a lot harder Teoh, fix it, then it is on Ah, aftereffects. So if you notice right here, I don't know if you can see it properly, but I'm just gonna solo it. We had to solo a lair, the only show layer you would have to you see this white dot You just go and then you just click that. All right if you look just like there's a couple of bumps, right, cause I want to share to be smooth. So what I would recommend is you go to you click the drop down for here. Then you go toe shape too. And then you click the at right click add and then you go to round corners. Now look the corners a little bit more round, which is what we want. And, ah, for these parts right here. Usually when this happens, it means that ah, it's Ah, you have to make it a little bit more smoother. So just click on path again, right? Click the quote, the verses. Then hold all and hold off for this too. They're gone. Go ahead and on Sold out Because I want to make sure I got the path right. All right. So I am fine with this. Like how this looks. I'm just, ah, do some more cleanup, right? Like putting, turning these and surround corners stuff like that. Ah, the Leinart for my project for this project, the line or it's not really gonna matter because I'm not gonna show it's all gonna be lying . This art. I prefer that style better. And we're just gonna move on to the next lesson where we start actually animating it So onto the next lesson 9. Animating My Project 3: Okay, so let's go to move on, animating the shape layers along the time line. So if I'm not mistaken, The swift I was animated on twos. So to move along the key frame of mobile on the timeline and frames. Right, Because this 24 frames Ah, you just put your control and then you move there. Okay. So 12 30 it's on threes. Yes, it is on threes. Okay, so 123 All right, so we have a whole another movement. So what I would do is I would go to my let's start by animating the pants. So let's go buy parts, right? So let's move my parts. That's how I like to work. Let's go. Oh, yeah, A quick way to to go back to the path Like what? I have an open up a bunch of dialogue boxes just typing in death. And here we are. Oh, and remember that Ah, it's wise toe. Like have where you start on that. Make sure you make a key frame. A key frame is just like a key frame animation. It's just ah, moment in time that you want a certain image to show and there are three paths and what I would usually do is just animate, um, intimate on all right, put a path and all of them. But it's up to you whatever you want to do. I'm more of the type of animator where I like to see more of the keep the timeline more than the actual picture on aftereffects. But here we are. Let's just go ahead and just just going to make a path for all of them. And then if we don't need to make a point for like, for like, you know, the pant legs or like, you know, whatever that the end dense than way don't have to worry about it. Okay, so here we are, right here. It's not. It's not organized as much as I want to. Something gonna organize these as well. OK, so these are the the pockets so less is going to group those going in the pockets, Then let's go ahead. And that's the name those Indians. Then I'm gonna mean that, right? That's the pants right pants, And I also like to just solo it right. You don't have to turn off all the other layers right cause that's the visibility with the eyes. That's the visibility. Um, I don't miss a like to do that, right? I'm just doing if I'm just working on one, I just I just sell Oh, it right by just clicking the white dot for that layer and you only get to see that one. Ah, but it's not showing. My, uh that's during my guide layer. So I just click the white doctor that want to. There we go. Let's go ahead and, uh, animate on the path. So there we are. Let's go ahead and move this. Oh, also, I forgot to mention this earlier. If you try to move it on here, remove the whole thing, which you're still moving the positions. But it's not really Ah, it's not really a constructive work workflow. And if you just If you hold it all and you do that, it turns it all into Ah, straight, straight, narrow corners that doesn't happen. Occurs so and you're just moving one point. So what I would recommend that you do is But the pencil you hold shift and you click on the Verge sees right. And now it un highlights one of the pieces right and highlights. Everything goes If it's a blue box, that means that that means you're able to move that point along with the others, Right? Let me go in, Lord that but at the bosses is on highlighted. That means that's the one that's not gonna move with the others, right, cause you could move points in groups, so just click that one. And now that point is highlighted, right? And the others aren't so you can just move that one point. So we're gonna move it right here and then move that up there. Uh, kind of like that. I like taboo. Been well, curve in that it's going to take it with a more curry. There we go. Listen with that up, here we go. And I'm gonna move that up too. Yeah, so that's kind of the workflow for this. You're just moving points. It's more. It's more easier for me to just click and drag weather than reach all the whole friend. As you can see by pressing control Aero left and right, you get to see where the war are. Rough animation, where it moves. And if you're able to tell you can see it animating along the time line. Now you see that only moved it at two spots. But the lines the path animation is moving along the the rough animation. So the reason why it's doing that's because after effects has this this system where it does the in between your animation right and you could even go as far as editing and tweaking your in betweens within after effects by highlighting the the key friends right here and then just clicking on the graph editor. And with that, you can change the easings and stuff like that. See if I move it over right or move it up. You can, ah, you can change where, ah, where, where the movement is going. So right here, I added a tease out. I believe so right now it's there's a lot more movement at the beginning, Then it speeds up at the end, so more so as in the sense of if you're using, like Adobe animate or anything like that or an animation software it pretty much in the sense there's more key friends at the beginning, right then at the end. So it's a lot, so it's a more fluid movement. I don't know if I said this earlier, but I just want to focus on the pants, the the pants. Not necessarily. Then dancer pockets. So I'm just going over to the eyeballs and then just turn those off. There we go. And we're just gonna go to the next part, right? And then here we are at our next key frame. So just gonna do the same thing that we did before, which is whole shift, quick, quick, one of them, and then just drag. And then you just do this process over and over again for one part, Um, of the of your animated scene on the timeline to you get to the end. So I'm going to tweet this, and then we're gonna come back when it's done. Oh, I also want you all to be mindful about when you're making these path animations right along the tomlin. Make sure that when you're making, like, a key post that you're doing that when you're making these tweaks on the key pose that you're doing it on the same king frame. So like if you see a move right and it's not moving you and you're like, OK, I'm just gonna move this part. You'll see right there that it actually makes it a key frame, right? And we don't want that if you're doing it the way that I'm showing. So make sure that you're always on the same key friend when you're making the adjustments for a pose in the U movement in expose. And then once you do all the poses, then you do the in betweens within the key frame editor. Or if you've already done the key frames, uh, that in betweens, right? And your rough animation, Then you could just match it up with that. Okay, so I want to show you guys something real quick. So to save time, you can also copy and paste a key frame within your path animation. So, as you can see right here, this this post looks very familiar because of supposed that we used on frame three, and it's this pose right here. So what I'm going to do, right? It's the same post. So it's going to be the key from instead of having to go through the path that, you know, moving the points all over again. So what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna control See that I'm going to go back to that key frame. I usually like clicking on it, but you can just go back over right, because if you try to drag it over and it's not at that same spot, you'll just make another key frame. And that's not necessarily what we want. So you just go right there and then you just ah, control V. And there you go. Same pose. All right, so here's our Ah, here's our path animation for our pants. I'm gonna go play were quick to show you guys What it how it looks. Looks pretty smooth, right? And I'm happy with the key. Poses me. Go and turn this off right to have initially I could see it right. However, if you look at it closely right, it doesn't necessarily match up exactly. In between, you can see the hip is bouncing a lot more than the actual pants animation, and it's because of adobe after effects like smooth interpolation right in between. So there's multiple ways that you can go about doing this personally. What I'm going to do is I'm going Teoh select all of them and then just well, key frames. So now it matches up exactly right. Because now you're just now you just turned adobe aftereffects until, like, frame by frame, right? Posed by post animation. Study it, Do it having its ah computer program. Just interpret late the positions in between right Or you can What is it? What is this? Is this What are you Sorry. Sorry. It has been a long day. So right there, it kind of smooth it out. But if you want to be exact, then you have to just go, like, exactly in between and do it like that. I get it exact. Or you could just go to the graph editor, right? And basically just play around with the settings, right? Play around, dragged that. I'm gonna show you guys in real time. As you can see, it's now. It's if you animated like that. You see, now it's moving up and down, right, cause that's just the in between moving back and forth. If you wanted it to be a lot smoother than the way I'm doing it the way I showed earlier when you're just holding the key frames and mimicking Ah, frame by frame posed by post animation. And you see it doesn't necessarily even line up exactly right. It's so it's a very finicky way to go about this and see if you just toggle. If you just click, talk a hold key frame, it just resorts it back to Ah so like the frame buffer imposed by post right? And that's a good pro, because now you're able to do a lot more things. And it's, You know, if you already made the in betweens, then you'll just have Teoh just make the key poses, right? If you already know all the friend you're gonna do, you don't want to rely. And you already have a smoothing that you're looking for right without having to mess with the after effects interpellation. And you don't have to worry about that. Anyways, here is the animation. Now, as you can see now it matches up with the with my storyboard animation. Exactly. And pretty much we're just gonna do this same process for all the for all these parts for all the parts. And I want to actually go over one more thing before I hit the time skip So As you can see , it doesn't. Ah, the endings aren't go are matching up with the with the pants. And this because we didn't animate them. So we'll just have toe quick on pockets inter dates and then just typing path. Right? And they're already key friend, because we did that in the last lesson or in this lesson. And what you basically what you have to do is just, um, for the pockets, you just animate them. You just, uh, move them over, right? And then ah, just go about it the same way that you did before. And if you Ah, if you look down below, they actually have it like shape too. And shape three now, for me personally already. Know what these are? No, this is like, you know, the left pant left pocket. That's the right pocket. But I believe you can even just you could even renamed those. I believe I'm not mistaken. Yeah, you can even rename those. So it's a great way to organize it because after fixes, automatic going toe label them are shapes. But that's enough for now. I'm just gonna animate the whole thing. Oh, also so as you can see we have the intent for the left, right then for the first frame and then for the third frame. But when we get to the fifth frame, we don't really need and then anymore. So what I would recommend that you do is just Ah, so see, if you're doing, like, frame by frame, you just grab it and you just drag it off. Great. Then when you need it again, you just ah, just put it back where you needed to. That Yes. So when you need it again Copy Where was right when it's Ah, I don't need it at all. So only need it for that one friend. So what? I would. So what I'm going to do is for this frame right here. I am just going to jacket and then Ah, but since this is frame by frame, I'm just gonna hold the key for him. See, Now doesn't even show for the 2nd 3rd 1 and then just ah, re star at it being right there. And that's gonna do it for this lesson. So I'll see in the next video 10. Animating My Project 4: eso This happens to me a lot. And I usually don't think that much ahead because you see, for the left on we animated it right. We made a whole another stapler for the right arm. Right? However, I'm really filling a short cut. So this is what I usually do. So I would just copy and paste right? And I usually do this one by that in duplicate because of duplicate right, which is control d it. Ah, it tends toe hold onto the same values as the previous, as the thing has been duplicated from. And it doesn't it won't let me change it as much as I can with just copy and pasting it. So name this one, right? Are and then I'll go over here. Actually, I don't need to. I just I just right click and then go to transform, then go to Ah, fluke horizontal. And what I would do is I would just match it up to the the rest, So I would usually do something like that and then just watch it. Ah, right. Then just do it like that. Yeah. So let's go in place. Yeah, that looks see, this might actually work better then Ah, then then actually animating it right, because, as you can see, it's not really Ah, it was pretty drawn. So of course it wasn't congruent, but I'm willing to sacrifice that, not paying congruent for it for me to save, you know, about 20 toe 15 20 minutes of time. And it's always gonna add that mindset where it's like, if you can If you confined quicker ways of shooting to do things and that sacrifice quality , then by all means, go for it. Oh, in the different right there, I'm gonna delete that one. The one that I had previously Yeah, so onto the head, By the way, I don't know if I mentioned this earlier. I'm not kind of just doing around random tidbits, but make sure you guys are writing this down. And by what means, if you have any questions within the lesson, police let me know, um, in the discussion messages, whatever reviews. But make sure you guys have the slip character like Bozz, that you don't that you don't want to draw anything over anything like that or layers that you don't want to do anything to you just want them as a reference like my purchase will make sure there a lot right by just clicking that clicking that on and showing the lock icon that means that layers lock. So that means you can't do anything to that layer besides, hide its visibility and turn it back on. And listen, you know, I'm gonna say this a 1,000,000 times. Make sure when you're moving things right when you're moving the actual shape when you're using, when you're doing pad animation, make sure that you're moving the like the actual path, like when you make sure you click on Pat and then move. Because if you don't and you just click on ah, regularly, you just click on the shape and then just drag. You see, there's no key frame. Copy Got because you're not actually moving the path. Ah, animation, you actually, you actually transforming the actual layer you're moving the layer, not the path. Make sure that you you have the path panel open, right, and then you just click on path and then you didn't You do your moving great, and that's gonna and then that's going to move it around. There you go. Also there's a short cut for If you want to just bring up the key firms that you made right , you could just click you and they'll bring of the path instead of having the type it and over and over again, you could just click. You could just press you and I bring up the cue from the key frames that you make. But keep in mind, though, you make other key friends the other properties besides path you will bring that up to. So if you have a lot of things that you're animating than it's gonna get really messy when making his eyes, I actually used to shape toe instead of the path animation right instead of you. Excuse me instead of using the pen till I used to shape tool and you could still animate them over the period of time. So But it was just You can only change the size and in the position of it, right, and which is really all I need. I'm not really making you know the mouth turned into, like, a writing or anything like that or making gettinto another shape. I'm just I just want these moving in a certain way over a period of time, so I'll just change the position and then just have them going up. So right here, Rio, I made a mistake, which is okay. We all it should be accepted that we'll make mistakes when you're creating animations, right? Because it's an endless work off art. So right here. You know, I actually used the shape tool instead of the pencil to create my characters eyes. And I want them. Teoh. So you went in tow and large over time, right? And then, you know, bring him back down. As you can see, this kind of a little There's a slight exaggeration. Slight Samir in his eyes. So what I'm going to do is I'm gonna typed in pad in the in the search bar, and then it put a delicious but the lives pat. And as you can see it, just just show pat this shows size and position, right? So I'm going to check out both of those, alright, and just half a reference of the time. Right. I'm gonna press you for the right out, bro. Then I'm going to click the left eye and hold shift, and then you she's me to hold you. Yeah, the whole you and bring the inner brought up the stuff that I just animated right stuff that I just made. The key point is that brought that up so about a side position and I want to animate them along Ah, you know the main com. So this is just easier, right? Cause me you hold shift and then you move your clicker it it jumps from one key from to another. So it's a quicker way to animate and let's get to it. So I necessarily don't like just click and drag when it comes to this because, as you can see, it's not animating along the time line for these. For this came friend. So what I what I usually do is I just This is the Y axis right, which is just moving it up and down. Then this is the X axis, which is just moving it left and right. So what I would what I would do is I would just move it. Ah, I just move it along the x and y axis. Right? And as you can see, it's a little bit larger. Then what? I just in the shape that I created. So I would go over to the size, and then I would click on the lock. The the key lock the link, the key link. Icahn. Now just turn that off, and then I would stretch it Teoh to go over my eye. But I don't really want it to do that. He's gonna bring it down a little bids if he doesn't Look, I think it would look really good if it doesn't cover his eye. Ross. Fine. Now we're going to bring it up. We're gonna actually make the make it a little bit smaller now, too. Let's just see how it looks. All right. Now, let's go ahead and do a time. Behold. Let's just see how the eyes look. I don't really like how that looks beyond. Yeah, so I just think that ah looks too jittery, and I think it really does need some easing. Let's go ahead and just ease this Now. I really don't like how that looks causes to jump early. So what I am going to do, I think the smearing might be the problem, so I'm just gonna go back. All right, then I am just going to move it up, and I'm I'm actually going to delete the size because I don't really wanna change the size anymore. And then just double quick. You Ah, there were press you again, and it brings up just a position now. Okay, now, since I did the taco hold key friend, this actually looks better to me. I'm going to school. I like how that looks. Looks like it's on the same path as the others. And don't worry about stuff, not ah, you know, stuff. Being under and over. It's kind of like we're making kind of, Ah, they give it as a cake. We're just layering the cake, right? And these are the layers, and we're not going to necessarily show the insides, right? It's basically what we're gonna be showing on the outside. So, like, the head is gonna be over the torso. The the arms are going to be over. It's gonna be over the eyebrows. So we're not gonna say worry about it, you know, looking kind of weird right here. Right? That's gonna be it for this lesson. The next lesson. I'm going to ah, color everything. Put the effects on and put text underneath it right, Because I kind of wanted to be a little bit more engaging in just me. Ah, moving within the tic tac Simple up and down. So stay tuned for that and see in the next lesson. 11. Animating Color: all right. So area where we left off that and we have the character animating the way we want to move into what we want to let the right key poses. So now we're just going to color given of the Leinart. I also want to add, like a background maybe, Ah, you know, a pretty pretty ah, a pretty background, Pretty pretty text right to match the audio of the song as well. Or I could hear the audio. Yeah, we do. So that's kind of that's where I wanted to go. And I also want to add highlights for his eyes. We can do that like that at any point. I just really want to get the hard stuff done, like the coloring, the shading and stuff like that and give you guys the run through for that. So let's go in and start it. But first, I also wanna kind of organized my layers a little bit more better, right? So for I put the pants about the body torso because I want I won his pants Teoh to show over the torso cause we're not I didn't I decided to just have a layered like, ah like, um, I can't think of the right word for, like, a cutout. Maybe. You know, I'm thinking you got to think about this as in layers. So the pants will go over the tour so the arms will go over the torso and it will go over the head as well. And the hair and the eyebrows, I think the onus will be the best. The forefront? Yeah, that's what I wanted to show. The foremost is the arms that I want the hair to be below the head. Right. So move a hair layer before the head and the right, You know, the right and left eye brows those air Fine. The right and left eyes. So they're fine. Okay, so it's going color. So the color it layer right is you have to click on the blue on the on the blue Ah, the blue square. I can't talk right now, and I'm just gonna sign a, You know, a color that I can just recognise automatically Well happen to read. You know, it's all about making it easier. So I make this purple. Let's make the pants. I make him black. We have black. We do not have black. We're in a light that they did. All right, let's go with. Ah, CIA, Right. The hair right. Those that will be on the same layer is like the eyebrows. No, would it will be below the head. So let's go with thing, then. These eyebrows. I want them to be the same color. So I'll keep those blue on the right and left by. I'll have those be green, all right? And, ah, to select multiple layers, you just hold ship, right? Do you want to select layers that are not next to each other? You just hold control, you quick, and then just if you want to de select, you just click up like a blank space, I believe There you go. All right, let's let's make these arms, Uh, like orange. Okay, Yeah, because unless Kenton will be orange, so that works out. And then let's make the head orange as well. That's not orange orange. All right, So, Dario, I like the color coordination. So let's go ahead and start start coloring. So it's very easy to color in after effects, which is why I love the program so much when I'm animating Well you have to do is your the selected layer. Then go to the fill option and then click on that. Right? So the line through the blank that means that there's no filth. There's no color inside. So which you can easily change that by just moving. Ah, color quicker. I want to share to be blue. So I'm looking for like, a light. Kind of like like light blue. Yeah, Okay. We're fine with that, right? Cause I want a shirt to be light, and then I'm gonna make the hot, like the shadows a little bit darker, so I'm fine with that. Let's go ahead and make his Ah, it's pants black, right? Uh, not to black down. Uh, cause I don't I don't think Yeah, I want to show his pockets. Well, so it's gonna go to that black unless just it's hard for me to find a great in this shape. Fill color toolbox. So when I want to find a great color or like a lighter black, I just go to the to be and then I just raise it up so that that's how you can get a good grade. A good like black that you can That's really gray, you know, stuff like that. So I usually you see how that looks, Because the goal is that I wanted. I want to show his pockets. Right. I want to show the black in this, uh, the black lines in this pockets. So I kind of want to go right there. That look good. Look, yeah, I'm fine with that. I was looking animated. Yeah, um, about that Yeah, it was good. Let's go to his head. That's not his head. So here I am at his head, and we're gonna make that, like a like orangy like my skin tone. Okay. Okay. I'm cool with that. All right, So the left and right arrows, I'm just shift. Click on both Change that black. All right. And then I am going to what was right and left eye. Make that black as well, then go to his right and left arm. Well, we're gonna use the eyedropper too, and they click that. All right, then we are going to go to his hair and make that like so that we are here. We are his colors and in the south looks animated. So What I'm going to do is I'm going to Ah, quick on everything except for the pants. Right. And then just and then, ah, quick on the stroke text, they just click. No struck you. If you want to know if you want to make a certain piece of the Leinart, still be there and not the other piece. What you're going to do is gonna go to body torso and go to shape to a shape one right, Then go to stroke and then lower their stroke down to nothing and still have that their original part there. Now I want that have, like, I want that to be like his neck. So I am going to go to fill make that his neck. All right, there we go. That should be ableto enemy pretty well, right? And if it if it is, you can see it's not really showing everything right. It's not really connecting. So you have to do is what I would recommend. It's just bring those up a little bit more. Alright, bring this up a little bit more. Rio Terry, go. Let's look at it. Platelets play always like toe play it just to get the make sure I got the motion right. And make sure everything looks how I imagine so. I kind of like kind of like disc. Of course, it's, um, stuff I have to fix over, like his arms. You know, I kind of want that to be the shirt for these parts. And I do want, um I do want they don't be in tow. Besides, you know the shading, of course, which we'll talk about next. But I do want to fix his arms. All right, So here's what I decided to do. I don't I don't like the fact that I kind of, like, left that into a square, right? I kind of want that to be its own. I wanted to be a complete shape. I don't want to leave it just missing. And I don't think I want to cover it up either. I think it would be too much of Ah, the house will do that. And it doesn't necessarily make the animation better. So how I'm going to do this is by having selecting the pencil, right? And then just adding these points. So how would do that? Is by clicking ones, then clicking on the other. Oh, shift clicking on one and they clicking on the other than on the other. And then just doing that. Sorry. If you had done to storming in the back. Uh, I can't really tell the thunderstorm to be quiet, unfortunately, but we're not gonna let us stop. Stop us. So just moving it around, and I kind I kind of like this. Yeah, I think I like I like this a lot, actually. Right. And then it's going to go back over here making sure these air lined up. There we go. Recording start. We still good? Yep. We're still good. All right, so all right. So after the after doing this, let's see how this looks. Okay, Total. So what I plan on doing this is doing this, you know, adding those points then doing it. Ah, all over for these parts. Now, you may be wondering why didn't I do this? Like it to be, like, at the middle When I was when I was animating in the middle. Besides the fact that I didn't know, right? If I knew I was gonna need to do this, I wouldn't even have done it one animating process. I would have done it at the end. Because when you do it in the middle and you add these points, it makes the newer points on, you know, the key prince that that you're gonna make next wonky, right? So once you're done making this cycle, you ah, you go back and you add extra. You know, you do your fixes, you add extra points if something doesn't look right, because when you add in the middle, right, and then you go over here, these those two points were gonna be added right there, and it was gonna look really, like, really wonky really bad. So I recommend doing that at the end rather than in the middle of animating are. So let's see how this looks looks pretty good to me. Uh, besides, like those slight deforming which I can clean up, and I know this may seem like it's a lot of it's a lot of work, but you got to think about that. I've only been doing this for about, you know, 30 to 45 minutes compared if I was doing this frame by frame and an animation software, but it took me about, you know, 3 to 5 hours. So I'm doing this along with the lessons, so keep that in mind. Okay? I like how that looks. It's jumpy, which I kind of like, right? It's very no. It captures your eyes, and we're gonna add some affects up in to make it. Ah, you know, the antelope is asked to it, but let's go ahead and and do it to the left arm. And I I'm sorry. All I am really, really are really love shortcuts if it doesn't decrease the quality. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to copy, and I'm going to paste the right are then just have it duplicates over. Ah. Then have it, uh, reversed. Had it flipped horizontally. And then I'm just going to delete the left arm, right? And then just rename this new duplicate left, all right, and then now look beautiful. And I'm not sure if I want if I want the outlines or not, I'm just gonna go with the flow of it, right, cause that's kind of like, you know, I have an idea. Let's make sure that this is the best that I can come up with? I don't really like that. The outline of the pants. I just want the pockets. So I'm just going to go to pants. Then I'm going to go to shape one the pants, right, Right here. Then I'm going to Ah, just make sure you all can see it. I'm going to blow the stroke. Would 20 right. I still want the pockets, though. Yeah, I like that. I think maybe. Ah, like these parts right here where it has like, a big stroke list may not be a very appealing um, So what I'm going to do is I'm going to go toe pockets and let's just see how it looks. What a lower with a lower ah stroke with. So let's just lower it down to, you know, let's go with Let's go with seven, 67 All right, let's just see how that let's compare to the other. What about the whole Yeah, I like that a lot better. It's more sleek and like, usually when it comes to detail of parts, uh, compared to like outline like, I definitely want these lines strokes of the pockets and for the neck to be a lot smaller than the line stroke for the arms. So let's go and do that. There we go, all right, and then let's go over to the neck. I think I just click on it. No, if I cannot, because that's part of the torso. So keep that in mind is that you just can't click on a shape if it's part of another shape . That's why I would recommend if you know you're gonna be animating or you're gonna be doing different parts. They could be animating different parts of a shape. Make sure that they're on different layers because it's a lot more is not the fact that you can't do it If they're on the separate that they're on the same layer? It's not. It's not about that. It's just that it's more convenient at their own different layers. Um, let's go to the choice up, and then let's find their it ISS stainless just lawyer the shape layer for the stroke with that seven. All right, there we go. So let's just seoi about. By the way, Control A is how you select every select all the layers, and that way you can close them all open them all. You know, Do everything to all the layers. So just quick, quick little shortcuts for you, for you all. I think that's as far as the shapes. A Sfar is what I want to do with them now I do want to Ah, I don't think I really need to switch while anymore. So square Delete that and that's going to do it for this lesson, So I'll see in the next video. 12. Adding Shadows and Detail: All right. So let's work on creating, like, shadows, right? Creating shadows and creating highlights. Maybe. I don't think I want to create highlights for this character. I kind of like the simple color. And let's just except for his eyes, I do wanna have highlights for his eyes. This is the part where I want to create the right eye highlights. So what I'm going to do is I'm going to duplicates duplicates, and I'm going to name this right. I hide light one and then right. I highlight to and change about the colors, toe light, and then I'm Joyce. I'm also gonna move the anchor point. Right. Gonna be the anchor point? Ah, to the middle of a Let me move it. There we go. All right, then get to send a for that one. Right. And anchor point is just the center of, uh, where the transformative property is going to be. Ah, right where they're going to source it from. All right, so I'm gonna move it that one too. We've got one up. So that's why it's important to plan this out. Because if you notice not necessarily planned out correctly. So which is a good lesson for you. So you had to just turn them both on and then just ah, right. Select both flares, and it isn't with them both up. Make sure when you're moving these positions that are using the actual position values, not just drag it, not just moving it by light clicking, because it's not gonna work like that. All right, so here we are. Yeah, we did our first. My highlight. So what I'm going to do is just copy and paste ease again, and it's already above. We're just gonna talk about the previous layers, so it's going to transform it and then just flip it, then just drag it over. All right? So as you can see, Ah, I made both the highlights. Just gonna rename this left eye. As you can see, I I duplicated the highlights for the right eye, and I just met him over to the left. But for these, what I'm going to do is I'm gonna move it over by selecting. I'm gonna bring it up, somebody just selecting the key frames and then just move. Being gets to the right. Yeah, Same thing for this part. Too smooth it over to the so, Like both the ski friends. And this is moving over to the left a little bit. No speed in the eyes. Let's go ahead and start creating the colors, right? For the shadows I like. So just create a whole another shape layer and then just go over here. All right? I want I want to make, like, a shadow with his waist. Put that right there. But that up there, There we go. So I'm gonna change that. Ah, it really doesn't. I don't think it matters, but I guess just to get, like, a kind of like a clear that I know that I warrant I don't want to do this. Don't do this right for a shirt. And then I'm going to go to effects and then go to set Matt all right, and then dragged it onto a shape layer one. Then I'm going to take the mat to the torso, right? Sure. We all right here, And we want a parent, the color, the shadow of the torso to the pants, cause that's where the movement is going to go, right? That's where the movement is. So what, we're gonna do is we're going to go to shape layer one, which will cause shadow torso shadow. Then we'll use the path, The wiggle of the wiggle. Ah, the parents will for path for the torso shot. And we're gonna parent it. Teoh the pants, right, And it's still not showing. So we have to do is you just have to make sure that that ah, the shape path for torso shadow is just a little bit bigger. What I like to use is I like to add a little like noise to it. So I just want ah, like, increase the noise right, which is what you'll find when you do the shadow, the inner saddle, little. And now, look, Now we have a shadow. So now would do the same thing for the arms. I want to do it for the next two. All right, so here's what I do. All right. So since I did the color for ah, some did the shadow for the shirt. I'm going to do it for the arm, and then I'm just gonna go towards ah. Then I'm a skim over the rest since, Ah, since you guys have, like, two tutorials on how to do it. So let's go to the arm. All right, so let's do left arm. We're gonna use the pencil. Then we're just gonna map out where we want, like, the shadow to be. So I kind of wanted, like like that, then, like this may be like that. That's a little bit too long. Kind of over. Pick over. Exaggerated it. Let's go right there. Put that over here. Sorry. This is a long story. Oil. It's just very It's a lot to talk about, especially for new, and I don't wanna, And I want everybody to be able to do this right or at least, like be able to understand what I'm doing, right. So I'm going to go to Ah, NASA drew a shapewear for that. What I'm gonna do is I'm just gonna do the same thing. Drags sat mat onto this shape layer, then just attached to the left arm. And ah, have that below the left arm. Then I'll go to layer layer styles and then ah, in her shadow, just like last time. Increase the distance. I'll change the color of this right, Then just increase the noise, right? We'll do it like that. Then I will go to contents. Go to ah, shape one, path one. Then have this have the left arm path open. Right. So it's already typing on our search for also our search bar. So just select the layer and click answer then. Ah, here's what we'll do. Well, grab this drag. It's Ah, the pap. So for that, and then there we go. And as you can see, it's not really going over everything. So what? Just so we'll just drag us over? So there we go. We added the shadow for this, and then we get stopping Pacer for the arm. And now I'm gonna add the shadows for all the parts that I want to, and then we'll just skip to that part. So here we are. We have our finished colored and shaded character. So now what we're gonna do is we're gonna start adding, we're gonna add a background, and we're also gonna add Ah, you know, the the text layer. And then we could just add the lipstick on the tops to make you know everything. That's the little cherry on top. So I'm gonna saber quit, which is control s don't ever forget that. And that's gonna do it for this lesson. So I'll see in the next video. So to create a background, you're just gonna hold the rectangle tool We're gonna go for simple this time just for the oh, why? He looks naked. Okay? He looks really Nick. Let's go ahead and change that color. Make sure that you don't have any layer selected. Listen, I make the same. I make the same mistake too, But make sure you catch it before you go too deep. Trust me, I've been there. Not a good. It's not a great feeling, so All right, let's go. To name this background. Gonna make something simple for this. Go put that all in the back and let's go to change the color. That's Ah, yeah, I like that. Rolls go. So Okay. All right. You also I created kind of like a similar boil effect, which is what you see in, like, animations nowadays. Pretty popular for content creators. And it kind of just adds a little Boer Ping within your drawings or your animations. So here's how I did it. So first, I creating adjustment layer to create an adjustment layer, you goto effects. Excuse me. You had a layer, then you got a new and then you click on adjustment layer control. Why? And adjustment layer is pretty much It's an empty layer where whatever effects that you apply to that adjustment layer, it affects everything below it. So everything below it has, ah, turbulent displays and these settings which for me it's a lot more constructive. Constructive? Because if I apply this effects all the layers, it would be I think it would be too much for my computer to handle. So that's a great way for me. Toe Apply everything quickly. And if I don't like it, I just turn it off by just not the adjustment layer. And ah, one more thing if you're if it starts playing back a little bit slow, right? Ah, you got Ah, this is your resolution, right? For preview, so you can lower it down to 1/3 of full quality or even 1/4 of full quality. Right? So I definitely wouldn't recommend that when you're adding heavy effects and heavy animation into your ah into your art, Don't don't put it on full. So the one thing that I would never acted. This is just just little effects. Such as, like the text, the tic tac symbol, and then their lip sync. All right, so let's go ahead and add the tic tac symbol first before anything. Alright? So first, we're gonna go to ah, going to go file import and then we're going to go to I think it's a more resource is, I believe, six. RPG. Make sure that is a PNG file. P and G means that it's Ah, there's nothing behind it. That is just It's just a picture. And then it had a transparent background, so I kind of wanna put that behind the arms right? And I don't know if I really want that, we'll see how it looks. It's going to lower the size to that which I did by just holding shift and then clicking on one of the boxes, one of the bounding box. So let's go and put that right there. And unfortunately this doesn't have a path because it's a picture, so we have to animate it. We have to animate its position, So let's go ahead and open up the left arm and then it's animated along along. Where is that? So let's go to the next part number. It's gonna hold the key frames. Yes, he had his looks. No file. I get covering the eyes like that. Let's see what's going Lord, the scale down a little spins. Yeah, that could work, Does it? Could be seen like you stolen get up and then catching it. Okay, I like that. I like that. Okay, So dragged a tic tac picture in a into the resource is file gotta be organized. Now, let's focus on the audio, and then we'll just add the lip sync at the end of it. Because that's the easiest thing. I think the audio will be the hardest right at the text. Oh, this is a pretty big calm, right? So I think at this point, it would be wise to just make a whole new composition and then just ah, same size. And then just name it text, cause I don't because we don't want our compositions to be too too big that we can't open it, cause that's happened to be before. So I'm trying to help you guys out, and that's gonna do it for this lesson. So I'll see in the next video 13. Adding Text and Effects: what's going at the Texan in the audio. Where's the idea? Way right there. All right, here's the feeling. Good audio. Okay, So here's the audio, Theo. So let's go and make the text to it. So, uh, probably gonna have a matchup. The audio. So let's do let's type in feeling good. Now you may be ah, wondering. Okay, So make it bigger. You just hit scale and make it bigger like that. I would not recommend doing this because for some reason it tends to lose. Quality is that wasn't quality right here. But it's harder to manage the scale of this and rather just making the text bigger on the character panel. So go back and then just make the text bigger for the character panel. It's It's too wide. So what I'll recommend you doing is just clicking, clicking in between and just hitting. Answer. Been deleting that space. All right, then. Ah, no. And by the way, if you want to de select you just ah, quick in the black, in the blank boxes in the blank areas of the of your comment, you get a little bit smaller. All right, so here is my default text. I don't know if I'm gonna use that one. Yeah, I'm feeling bolder. Yep. Bold. Right. Feeling good? I'm going to be impactful. So let's look over here. Let's go. Not Okay. So let's add a Let's add a layer style to it. Right? Let's go layers. Then let's go toe first. Let's go to stroke. Then we'll just add Ah, ah, I don't like that. Right stroke. Let's go with Ah, pink, pink and purple. Maybe. Let's go blue de green Looks very disgusting. So that's good. So I want the feeling good coming in, right? All right, then. We're just gonna split that by splitting. Get you had control. Shifty. Happily? Yep. It could be split like that. No, not like that. I'm sorry. Uh, there we go. Let that. But that neighbor. So I kind of want to just do the filling. Right? I wanna have filling. And then blessed come in. Right. So it's right there. What? That disappears. There we go. There. Do it. Okay, so let's do feeling good. Must do like I should should. Then we're not gonna do anything for that when he goes. When he talks about, you know driving around neighborhood they were gonna do feeling No one do blessed. And then we'll probably change the color of blessed like yellow or something something simplifies about like, well, if their value, which would be like gold or green. Um, so do you. You must believe that and way alright. Must bring that down some what we can do, we can bring that up, then have less come right underneath it. Look what we have to make sure that goes all the way. Okay, we can do that. I like that better, right? So then we could have blessed coming right after then if you want to make sure they stack up right after, just go over and then ah, like extended layer. And then you could just move it out to make sure that I just and then I kind of want to make sure that that less stands out a lot more than others getting. I kind of want to add the wiggle. I want to make sure wiggle was kind of in and out. We're going to go to feeling and then effects. We're going to get a wiggle and then ah, position been dragging here all right. And you see that it's wiggling back and four. So we kind of want to lower the wiggle amount, right? We wanted to be a little bit subtle. So what about 30? Said it is usual. 50? Yeah. I like how that looks. I really like how that looks and fight again. Michelle, I like how it looks like that. So pretty much what you can do is you can go toe. You could click both of these by holding shift and then clicking, then control seeing and then just our control V and then you can, ah, copy and paste that your effects, which can save you a lot of time. Okay, so now what we're gonna do is we're gonna go to your Ah, if you click on the arrow, just click on project, it brings it up. So put the Texan that it comes, voter, and then you're just gonna drop that? You're gonna drag the text over here on top of your, um I don't want it underneath my adjustment layer because I don't want to have the boil effect. I want to just look like that. Obviously, if you look over here, it's going to stop animating, right? We're gonna turn everything into ah, pre comp except for the text. So we're gonna ah, shift, click everything and then go to pre compose, and then just name this Ah, animated character. All right? And make sure the, uh, compasses inspiration is adjusted and you move all the tributes into it. Okay, so let's let's go ahead and move this until it stops. You know, until we noticed that it's not animating anymore, which is somewhere around here is the last part of the animated cycle. So we're just gonna drag that here, dragged the work area. So here by ship, shouting, shifting and moving the clicker, moving the clicker and dragging. Excuse me. Then we're gonna scroll all the way down. It's shipped, and we're gonna hold Ault and in the square bracket key, right? And not just trims everything to the work area or to the placeholder. I can remember which one's which I usually do both. And ah, we actually messed up because we didn't want our text to be that we just wanted our ah, everything else. Not the text. So and we don't really need adjustment layer either. So uh, actually, here we go here. We do because we animated that. So that needs to be Ah, that needs to be adjusted as well. So we're gonna do the same thing and make sure the text isn't that highlighted and didn't do Halt, halt square bracket key. And then doing a just do. Ah, pre composed. We're gonna We're gonna make this to a pre comp, and then we're gonna name it, um, animated character. Now we duplicate the animated character over the period of time. So we're in a control d move it over, and then we're gonna hold, Should think like those two and duplicate those Drag him up, then move him over and duplicate those four Been Ah, drag him up, then move him over them. Quite only a duplicate. Those five we're just gonna duplicate thes uh, it's gonna duplicate for again. That should be enough. If it isn't, I am not getting estimating. Drag him up. I am not getting estimating. So, jacquimo drag one more up and then drag it over. So now we have the animated look, I like how all this looks are really do Now. We're just gonna add Ah, the math lit the my lip sync Which for you. Well, if you don't, If you didn't do the lip sync right, Because you don't have to. You could just put him out there. Or, you know, if you have your own project, which I hope that you all do, right, I don't want it to be a copy and paste of my own. Then just do ever Just do whatever you want to, right? Um, but areas there's the lip sync, and we're gonna put it all aside. Perfectly OK, cool. No, you're probably wondering. Oh, no, it's not. The position is not Ah, it's not moving along with the with its face. And you're right, it's not. So what you would have to do is you have to turn on the position. 123 where we go. All right, so we're just gonna just animate the position. Move it up, men. We're gonna move over and then Ah, just re copy these again. 123 Re copy these. Just keep doing it. All right, Now, now that we're at the end of me copy pasting all those frames for my from our position. You just go over all of them. Then you, Ah, weight of it saves. And then you right click and then you go to talk a whole key friend. There we go. Let's see how this looks. Okay, so that is the end of me. Ah, creating my animation project. Hope you guys learned a lot from it. I hope you guys have a better understanding of after effects or if you already have a great understanding of aftereffects. Hope I didn't waste your time. And I give you some value or give you something that you may have not known known about. Now we're gonna move on toe exporting and then uploading our animation. 14. Exporting and Uploading Animation: All right, so now we're here at exporting and upload in your animation. So, first, before we talk about uploading, you're gonna be talking about exporting from after effects. Ah, from after effects, I usually use Adobe media and quarter, which is just you just gotta export. You just gotta add to adobe media encoder. And then we go through that process from, ah, procreate. I believe you just export the as as a movie rise of PNG sequence. Um, and you just uploaded straight from the app from Francis out on your iPad and make sure that the resolution is correct that you wanted at either 13 50 13 50. I'm even okay with 10 80 by 13. 50 and also ah, tentative by 1920. Those are the preferred sizes that I would recommend that you use for if you're if you're using TIC Tac and Mr Graham. Okay, so the program is open. Um, So the program is open, and here is our op. If I that's the name of it. And I don't like this name at all, and I don't even like where it's going. So I'm gonna show you how toe go about all this, so make sure that the format is 8.264 That's the normal size for videos I usually use match source rate right? Because if you which is the default, I believe once you click on the match source high bit rate link, it gives you these presets and it shows you the exports, attics, and these are all the settings and process that you can use. It gives you plenty of auctions from four K. YouTube Twitter. Plenty of options that you can use toe really change the format of your video and make sure that it's proportional for where you're uploading it to. Um, they have YouTube and Vimeo that Twitter. For some reason, they do not have instagram. But of course, you could just goto Twitter 6 46 40 because that's still a square. So you can always do that. Um, now let's talk about the ALP innate. So to change the output name, you can just click on this, and I don't like where it's going. Ah, I just wanted to goto lesson six. So much Gonna name it. Main animation animation for skill share that's better. Sounds more professional. So quick say, And then, Ah, I usually click on this on the link because I like to turn on the maximum vendor quality for my videos and then also the Met the maximum death. It's just a habit because I usually work. I work with three D layers to, so just have it for me to turn it on. It was uncomfortable may not turning it on. And then you could just scroll over, make sure that this is you know, they showed everything right, showed all your stuff, and that's about all that I change besides the besides, those two look OK, Then you just click the play bud, and now it's rendering. So now what we're gonna do is we're gonna send it over to your phone to upload on the tic tac app. So, like I said in my earlier lessons, I would recommend one Dr Airdrop. You have Apple products, and my personal favorite is sent anywhere, which is a website where you can send video falls back and forth between different devices about having the sign up and having to use your story status. It's just it's just a medium now. I'm gonna do it for my computer so you can have it from both ways from my device and from my phone and for my computer. So it's gonna go toe, Let's go to, ah, send anywhere. All right, there you go. Just pulls it up just like that, within a little plus blind. Then you just find your file. And then there's this. There you go. You can send it over. You're going to give you an ad or tell you to skip. Skip it. Then you just input that code into your phone. And then that's it. That's how you transfer over your finished video to your phone from send anywhere. I'll have the link in. The resource is tapped. Okay, so now we're on my phone and let's go ahead and upload the video to TIC TAC. So let's go and open the tic tac at we're gonna go to my personal account. So we're gonna click on the plus button, and then we're also gonna click on upload box on the top on the bottom, right. And then there it is. So, like I said, Look, I'm not, uh all right. I made a list in this climate song long enough From this point forward, when you're exporting, you can add filters. Ah, whatever you want to do it, you can add a voiceover over this. You can actually at personal filters such as, you know, lighting whatever whatever you want to add, I usually don't add it because I could do all that in after effects for my or editing Softwares instead of using their app. So now here's the problem comes because some of you may have recorded your audio to animate overs from your iPad and in my night Sound good, I'm pretty sure is not gonna sound as good as it downloaded from the app. So toe add the sound from the tic tac app to your animation. Like as a voiceover, You go to sounds, then you go toe you gotta more. Then you go to favorites or you search it up. I prefer that you you do favorites. Then you just click on the one you use and as you can sell, it's a jumbled mess. I cropped out the song that I wanted to enemy, too. I didn't use the full song from tic tac. I just cropped it out to what I want animate towards So you just click on the scissor and the music on the bottom, right, So you just dragged to adjust it. So I lined up perfectly to the lip sync from tech talks original audio instead of me, you know, recording, getting putting it on there. So now you go to the volume, and then you lower the original sound and use the Adit song, and then you just click on next and then from this point, this is what this is the posting station. So as you can see Ah, there's a lot of things you could do. You can allow stitch, do it and react to your videos. You can allow comments. You can say the video to your device with the tick talk kind of water branding on your videos. But you can change who can view this from public to friends. Teoh, Private. And then you can also select the cover of your animation as like, a thumb. No for people to scroll on or to click on it. So just click on the select cover and you see at the bottom they show all these parts of what you can use, and then uh, would make sure that is public. Then you can type. You could type whatever you want to type for a light to describe your video. Then you can use has tax, right. And then they gives you like all the top hashtags, right? The training ones that all the ones you used in the past So that's a good feature, that half. And you can also add people that you made inspired art from or that you're friends with, right, That you want someone to know that you made this post and then also at the bottom You can send it right You can you can You can show the video by text. You can, uh, send it to your instagram feed. You can send it to you instagram stories and then you can also send it to ship to Snapchat . Right? But you gotta make sure your Snapchat Isaac, you gotta log onto your Snapchat, get a log into your instagram, and then you got to send the text afterwards. So it's just kind of like a just since the video over there for you to post on that app. If you don't with all of all the stuff you want to do, right for your posting station. Then you just click the Red Post and then it'll post right in there, and that's it for exporting and up loading your animation. 15. Tips and Advice: But creating animations on tech talk is very similar to how you create content on YouTube or any other social media platform, which is consistency is very vital. I personally would recommend that you uploaded at least once a week, at least because at that point you'll be able to maintain your name within the search systems on tick talk for animation and also giving your followers or reason to stay followed. And they may even follow you on other social media platforms that's linked to your tech top . So a lot of things a lot of great things can happen when you're consistent on creating Tic Tac animation. Also, using talk sounds will give you a higher chance of getting traction and exposure compared to using original sounds when you're first starting out. See, a lot of you may not know this, but to talk used to be musically. So we musically changed over the tick talk at this point in time, which is May 2020 that hunger rhythm still uses the main components musically, so music is a driving force of gaining traction and getting you within the search systems. So I have a couple of friends who used take top trending tab or have some other constant creator friends who just go down there recommended of what pops up and whatever sounds they like. They'll just say that one and animate off that, so there's plenty of ways to go about that. But I would definitely recommend you using Tic Tac sounds, um, or even just trending sounds when you're first starting out so you can start gaining traction. Start being gone, you know, to explore page stuff like that. Now my third piece of ice is using cash tax. When using cash tax, I would personally recommend that you use hashtag. They don't have high competitions, and that describes with up of content that you create. So for me, high competition is more like, you know, 500 million times used trees, especially billions for sure. But I believe the only exceptions for the billions is like, you know, before you paid cash tax because that's the Explorer page of you know, Texas. And they constantly just push what's what people like and what people comment on the most. They'll push that went to the top. So, you know, a billions of times used every day. You know a 1,000,000 views on your count content is still viral, so make sure you keep that in mind. Also, a great thing you can do is look at other concentrators who make some more content that you want to make and see what hashtags they're using. And from that you can just take notes off of Ah, what hash tax are being used? My fourth Reese advice and I felt like this one is overlooked the most. It's post your content on other content platforms. So if you're creating you to Constant, split that up and post that within TIC tac. And if you're creating tech talk content, post that Teoh either. YouTube. If it won't have copyright infringement for music or posted toe instagram so you can have cross traction, the best way you could do it is by cross traction and mawr. Exposure is better for you, so don't don't waste that opportunity and use it to the fullest. Now that is all for my tips and advice for tech talk. Now let's move on to the conclusion of the course 16. Conclusion: Wow. We finally made it to the end of of course. I got to give you all a round of applause. Please, Capital, Clap it up for yourselves. Clap it up for yourselves. You did something amazing. You found another way, Teoh, expand your content and also gain more exposure for your hard work. So that's something to be proud about. And that's something. Teoh. Clap, Clap for yourself. Pat yourself on the back for that. That's amazing. Don't forget. Listen, don't forget toe poster animations within the project's tap. I want to see your creativity and I want to see your own unique animation. And if you follow me on Instagram and you tag me with them your Ted talk animation, I'll repost it. And I believe a like because any type of creativity for your animation I feel like it pushes the animation community forward. So I'm looking forward to what you all create from this class. Also in all seriousness, well, I was serious about that to uh, Anyways, I want you all to leave honest review about this class, anything that I can work on anything that I can improve for. The next class is only gonna make the content better and trust me out thick skin. And you know, if you prefer not to say it within the discussions type and you want to send me privately, then by all means send its in me on instagram or my email, whichever works. If you have any questions, please email me. Leave it in the reviews, the comments wherever I would love to see and I love to interact. Wait one last thing before I go. If there are any tips for anything that you feel like that I missed throughout this tic tac you know, animation course, please write it down within the discussions tab or in the reviews so other students can see it and, you know, they can implement it into their own Tic tac animation. Me Creating the best class and giving you all the most valuable information is more important to me than being a no, it'll which I am not. I will 100% say that I am not a know it all. And I want to learn as much as I can. There still so much for me to go for this journey. Anyways, this is the end of the course. Thank you all for watching. And I'll see you next time
