About This Class

You just can't help it, now can you? Be it any Facebook or Instagram newsfeed, your eyes go straight to that video, that hilarious GIF, or that sparkling sticker.

Well, that happens to you and to everyone else. And social media algorithms know it.

How about YOU start making amazing moving designs and capture the world's attention?

Not only is it a powerful way to promote your products or services: with Canva, it's also super easy and fun.

In this course, we’ll be creating 2 animated posts with Canva (for Facebook and Instagram) to promote an e-commerce product or service. We’ll go through all key Canva elements and teach you how to build eye-catchy moving designs (and we’ll also share a few out-of-the box tricks of our own).

Let us show you around!

This class is for everybody: a couple of features are for Canva Pro users only but we’ll give tips on how to use them even if you are a Canva Free user. ;)

A bit about us:

Ronny works at Canva as the Head of Communities and has been creating courses about Canva for over 2 years now. He runs 4 Facebook groups for Canva + his own community together with Diana. All of these are, of course, about Canva and how to become a better designer with Canva.

Diana is a Canva Brand Ambassador (a Canva Certified Creative). She creates online courses about different topics like Instagram marketing, photography, personal branding and Canva.

The objective of this class is to show you why creating moving visuals is so important for you and your brand in order to stand out on social media, so people not only see you, but also remember you.

We will be creating designs based on already-existing templates and regular pictures we took ourselves and using Canva from our computers, but you can also follow along with only your phone.

You will learn about every step of the creative process of both posts. We want to share with you all the tips and key knowledge about animated posts so you realize how much of a potential they are for you and your brand… and how easy it is for you to achieve amazing, original results with great added value (because no, it’s not just about cute kittens).

This is going to be fun!

1. Introduction: Hello, guys. My name is Diana and I am a compass certified creative welcome to this lesson and welcome to our house. I am here right now with Ronnie, my partner, who is behind the camera. He works at Kamba. He is the head of communities. Together with running, we are going to teach you how to create animate, that social media boast. And this means a post that has movement, has little animations or has videos. So in the next lesson, we are going to learn a little bit of theory to understand why we should be using the's animated social media posts and why we should include them into our feet and our regular kind of post on social media. So after learning the why we should be adding movement and animations to our social media post, we are going to learn the how off course, and we are going to make them incumbent in the next lesson. Runny is going to teach us how to design an animated social media post for Facebook, and he's going to promote a product from an e commerce. Afterwards, I'm going to teach you how to create an animated social media post this time for Instagram , and I'm going to promote a service. And, as usual, we are going to also have a project lesson at the end of this course, so you can create your own animated social media posts so you can promote your products or your services. So let's go ahead and let's start with lesson number one, but it's still. 2. Why you should get things Moving: Hi, everybody. And welcome to lecture one of this class in this specific lecture. We are going to talk about why it is important toe add movement to get things moving in the news feed. Okay, so, you know you ready for this? Let's do it. All right. So we have prepared a couple of slides here. All right, So the first question we want to address is why should we add movement to our social media post? So the first reason why you should add movement is to stand out. So, Deanna, I don't know how often you use instagram or Facebook, but there's so much content out there. There's so much things that try to basically get your attention. And so how do we stand out? How do how do you usually decide what you click on? OK, so I want to add something to this light. Some bit of information, actually, in social media like Facebook or instagram or any other platform you need. Teoh pay attention to the algorithm and the algorithm is also like checking off course that the value of your content and we measure that by watching how much time people spend watching your boast. So that's why animation and movement it's very important because people usually spend more time watching something that is animated or has movement like a video over accident. We will mention all of these kind of former four months later on, but yes, so basically people pay more attention. And, of course, they stand out because they there is something movement is not a static image. Yeah, that's more what I had in mind. Designing this slide is that when you scroll or and you see static images and photos and all of a sudden you see a flower popping and the one we see here on screen or something underlining, then it catches your attention, which leads us to our next slide, which is grab attention. So movement helps you grab people's attention because something is moving so your eyes, like unconsciously detect that movement and your attention is just pulled to that element. That thing that is moving and this is something more like a reflect like it's something you don't really control. It is human nature, like your eyes are attracting by moving elements, moving objects so you can grab people's attention more easily If your post are animated movie. So first pay attention and then if the quality off your design, I would say, because at this point we cannot really talk about content. It's only visual because your brain really recognizes in assimilate visuals way faster than words. So even before people have started to read anything they get, you can stub the scroll. That's the goal. Eso the movement will first grab their attention, and then they would pay attention for half of the second. And if it's even good looking, then they will stop this crow. And this is actually what we are looking for. Like we know want to be just one London post on instagram or Facebook that people just crawl at you. We want you actually people to stop when they see your image moving like you're animated post. You want them to stop, actually, to pay attention to your post and what what do what you are saying, because usually when you create a piece of content, you spent a lot of time creating the Vitrolles or the video and the copy researching Hashtags and all these kind of things. You put a lot off energy and time into it. So you don't want just two people to use. Keep your post, but you actually read it and stop scrolling. Yeah, definitely. So let's go to the next slide, and we will see. Or so that's another reason why it is good to add this movement to your post is that today social networks allow a variety of format, and a lot of them allow this movement like, for example, you can upload gifts or Gypsy. I never knew how to pronounce this word. Eso you pick the one you prefer, but you can upload gifts on social networks like Facebook, for example, or you could add video. Or you could add different kinds of formats that we have tried to sum up here on the slide that allow you to really get creative with your visual. So that's one of the extra reason, and then a couple of more reasons. Yeah, I also wanted to add that not all the social media platforms accept or take all these former four months that we are showing here on screen. Like because, for example, along Instagram, you could not upload the pdf good. You can do it on Facebook. So you need to pay attention to the social media platform that you are using. Yeah, this is not a one size fit for in some platform might also like natively. You told me yesterday about the boomerang on instagram, so we'll get back to this. But every platform might have specific formats. Yes. Yeah. Another reason is that Facebook is automatically playing your videos in the newsfeed. So when you scroll down and you get to a video, if you don't score like superfast Facebook is going to start playing that video so that movement is automatically triggered, I would say in the news feed. So that's another good reason to start using video and kind of moving post because the platforms wants to promote this kind of movement because they know that catches people's attention. And actually, I don't know if you knew these, but on Facebook, this is have default feature like a different default setting. But you can actually change yes and turn era. But by default you will have these setting to non. So most of the people will actually have this feature off out to play video. Okay, so let's go to the next US like Aaron. Here we are going to talk about Instagram so we can actually have this animated posts on Instagram. And as we mentioned before, you cannot upload like any kind of format on Instagram, you can only upload P and G's orgy epics like a static images and also a video video format like MP for in order for you to have these animated like movements or animations on instagram usually upload videos. As I mentioned before, Theo algorithm is checking how much time people are spending own your post. So mentioning here instagram kind resources. Because if you have more than one image, especially if they are moving, our people will spend more time checking out your posts crawling through your post, and that will send a sign or a signal to the algorithm that okay, people are spending a lot of time into this post. Let's show disposed to more people, so you will have more rich and people will get you see more people. We get to see your post and hopefully they will start following you. If they like your content right. How many pages can you add to a car set on Instagram pages Blanks. Yeah, All right, let's go to the next live and then we have boomerang. This is also a feature that Instagram has integrated into the up and this allows us to have like this animated or moving images that is not just a video is like a looping video and recently they have uploaded some other features. As you can see here, you can have different kind of boomerang. So I guess instagram so that this, like people love using boomerangs and they are catching people's attention and maybe spending time looking at this boom Arens because they are kind of fun. So this is something that you guys can look up to you. Okay, so let's go to the next. Yes, uh, so basically, what we're trying to say here is that it is easier than ever to add movement to your post because social media platforms want you to have moving things in the news feed because they know that catches people's attention. So they make it easy for you. Just like we have demonstrated with the Instagram. Caress airs with the boomerang with the auto play video on Facebook. So it is easier than ever. And that's why we have decided to create this class teaching you how to create these moving animated social media post. All right, so now that we have understood in covered why, you should add movement, we are going to talk about the what? Like what? Type off post should you create to add that movement. Okay, so the 1st 1 on I'm going to cover only three that you can do with Canada. But you can do much more. You can be creative, you can mix them up and you can come up with other source off animated post. But one common animated post is to use animated GIFs eso Here we just see different gifts. There is a very easy way toe in toe. Insert these gifts into your can va designs and cover this wild design and actually like on camera, you can include keeps into your design. But you can also, there were now the caves, So yeah, we will show you guys how to do this later on in the course. Yep. Next. Yeah, next is the animated stickers. So Canada has these collections off animated stickers, and I actually love them. I use them. Everybody does. Oh, my God. They used up all the time and in everything that I can include a sticker. You will see a stick here. So these are kind of like classic stickers. Some of them are more subtle. And we would also cover that in when the design part of this class when we jump into Canada . But we wanted to mention them. And then, of course, you have video video post super easy to insert video into your post in Canada into your designs creation. So we cover that, of course, in the course. And like I was saying, these are just a couple of examples. You can mix them up if you click. Play on this design right here. Can you click plate? Yeah. So you see, here we are using the three different types of post I just mentioned. We are We have a gift. We have a sticker and we have the video playing in the background and so we can buy Super easy to combine these elements to get a super like condense pose where things are moving. There's things going on in this post, and that will definitely catch people's attention. All right. So these are just a couple of the what type off post we can create with Canada. This is the topic of this class. Like, how can you create animated social media post with Canada? So if you're ready for this now that you have a little bit of contacts of the why and what I suggest we dive into the how, and I'm going to show you in the next lecture how you can use can va to create animated social media posed for Facebook. So I see you there. It's too 3. Animated post to promote your Products on FB: Hey, guys, welcome back to the class and welcome to the first canvass lecture. All right, so we are going to get our hands dirty in this lecture and start designing with canvas. So in this particular lecture, we are going to design an animated social media post to promote one of the products that we are selling in our online store. All right, on, we are going to be designing this post for Facebook in particular, but because I'm going to be using a specific aspect ratio. So the squared aspect ratio, the one by one aspect ratio, you could totally use this post on instagram as well. Right? So this is the can by a home page, all right? And I'm going to start by searching for animated social media post. Okay, So if I type in animated, you will see that the first document type that shows up here in Canada is the animated social media 800 by 800 pixel. It has a little Instagram logo, but you can definitely use this format on Facebook as well, so accurately. No problem with that. So if I click on that can vies going to bring me to the template library for this particular type of document, the animated social media. All right, so you see here a bunch of different square template with moving things. Okay, that's the exact, uh, purpose of this type of document is that it's animated. So that's exactly what we want. We want to catch people's attention. As we've mentioned in the previous lecture, we want to stop this crow in the news feed, and this is going to be perfect. So I wanted to start this lecture by choosing a template, because usually we designed everything from scratch. But Canada has some very beautiful templates on, So I wanted to start something a little bit different and start with using attempted. So I'm going to be using this one because I like the dynamic of it. I like the way the things here, I think they catch the attention. And I also like that. I can use some nice Grady in colors. So going to click on this can vies going toe open that in the editor for me. So let's first analyze what this template is made of. Okay, so we see text boxes here with some color box in the background of these text boxes. So that's pretty cool. A fund that I actually like Monserrat Extra board. I think it is. Yes, we see a photo. Let's see if. Okay, so that's a photo with a an orange background. Perfect. Just likely moved it here. It doesn't matter, because I'm going to replace all this and I see some wavy things here. What is this? Seems like it's a corner of waves and different colors, so cannot change the color. I see that if I click on them, I see that cannot change the color of this. So basically, I'm going to start by copying this page and taking out the elements one by one. So I see how I can customize this with my own product. Okay, so my product, let's get to the product now. So I'm going to go to my photos here. Um, so for this exercise, I'm going to be using a product that I took a photo off in a previous class that I was shooting the class about photos, taking photos, and I think it's still here in my four orders section. But for you, of course, if you have an online store. If you're selling a particular product, could be candles. It could be sunglasses. It could be shoes. It could be anything, really. Just go for your product. Meat. I had a product here, so let me see how many pages you have. Two pages. Okay. Adding one page. I'm going to be using the soap product. So I took this photo a couple of days ago on I want to be using this. Okay, so of course it has a background. So I'm going to use the remove background background remover to get rid of that background . That is a pro feature. So that is a can of a pro feature. If you don't have convert pro, you can use Remove the BG, the website, or you can import a photo with a background that you like. That's also totally fine. Or you can, uh, use maybe one of the photos from Canada. Okay. From the canvas library that you like that has a nice background, but here you can see removed background background remover. Did a wonderful job off getting rid of this background, as you can see here. So I'm just going to be using this. Okay, so I'm gonna leave this here for now. Next. I'm going to continue deconstructing this design right here, so I'm going to get rid of Grandma. Okay? So the next thing I want to do after getting weight of Grandma here is to change my text. So I'm going to use something more appropriate for my product. Okay? And I'm going to say I can do this. Oh, are they long? All right. I can do this all day long. Of course, I refer to washing your hands because in this Corona time, you have to wash your hands or day long. All right, So I can do this all day long. It's kind of funny, all right. Taking my product, I would position the product might not be the final positioning of the product. And I can see there is a black background here, so I will be changing this, and I'm gonna be using one of the colors from my actual product. So I'm going to show you how we can do this. But first, I'm going to lively up a little bit. This photo going to adjust the brightness and the contrast off that product Okay, so I have a Maura brighter. I would say maybe a little bit off saturation as well. And I'm going to zoom in to kind of show you the difference. Okay, so this is what I have. I have a nice color palette already in this label off this product. So what I'm going to do is to try to use one of these colors. Okay, So how can I do this? I can click here on the background and see if can recognizes. Yes, it does. So photo colors. It gives me the palate off the most dominant colors off this product. But it goes mawr into. Of course, the dummy in colors are the black, the brown, the gray. So those are not the colors I'm most interested in, um, or interested in this kind of like magenta here, the aqua color, the purpose. So that's what I'm looking for. So for this, I'm going to be using a tool, which is a color picker. Okay, so I have this color picker, which is a chrome extension. I'm going to be using that to kind of grab one of the colors. Let's say this aqua color here so you probably don't see it because it's slightly over the part of my screen that I'm recording. But it's just the the good old color picker. So the color picker is likely over the edge of my screen. But you can see this some grabbing the hex code. Here. Copy this. And I'm going to be using this here with a new color, and I'm just going to paste this hex code. All right, let me zoom back out. Fit the screen. So I have something like this now, Okay, I can do this all day. Let's say just I can do this old day, but all day long and I'm going to be using the same size. So 43 actually, I could reduce this to 40. Seems a little bit crammed here in this box. Make sure this is correctly centered. It's not actually because I need to reduce this textbooks. And I always recommend you do these guys like you snap your text to the textbooks, so it's actually exactly in the middle. It's easier to center your elements, So this is good. Now I'm going to use my copy style button here in Canada and click on the other textbooks, you see, Going to do the same, making sure I'm snapping my text like this and center it in this text Books, apps that centric. Like here, There. Okay, I can do this old day. This looks good. Of course I can change the color. Here s o what I'm going to do first. I'm going to dig. Continued deconstructing this template. Okay, so I've seen that there is a text box. That's good. I can get rid of that. Uh, this one is. Well, I get it. This is already in my other design. I have seen that I have a photo here. OK, And the next thing I have these two floating corners here, um, kind of wavy animation. So this is probably a sticker. So let me find this element. I'm going to go back to the elements section. I'm going to put stickers, Grady INTs. Okay, stickers, Grady, aunts. And let's see. Yep. There. There they are. Okay. You see? So these are the ones that I was looking for. These are the corner ones. Okay, So this is going to be perfect. Yes. For my product, I'm going to be using this one. See, it has kind of like the same colors as my label ready my product label. So I'm going to be using this instead of these ones. So, for example, I'm going to click on this one, and I'm going to be looking at the original one in my template because I kind of like how this template has been made. Remember, the templates are being made by Canada designers or independent designers, but designers so people who know what they are doing when it comes to graphic design. So it might be worth just respecting the world that has already been put into this template and not try to reinvent the wheel. So the first thing I'm going to do is to turn that around about 180 degrees, and then I'm going to reduce the size of this to match the size of the other one. Okay, so he faced grab a corner and start reducing canvas should start showing me the lines, the adjustment lines, you see, I can see here the purple line indicating me that this is actually the same size as the one here. You can get rid of the 1st 1 and then I'm going to position this one where it needs to be. Okay. And this waas backward. I remember correctly. So it was like this. Now I'm going to be doing exactly the same for the lower part of my designs. So this one is the same sticker. This one right here. Just have to make sure we have the same size. So this one is too big. Just going to be doing the same thing, grabbing one of the corners, reducing and trying to see where Canada shows me the line. So right here, getting rid of this one, pushing this one in the corner. Okay, so now I have this nice wavy thing going on. It's kind of like the same color as my label. And what I can do is some minor adjustments. Okay? I could grab one of these colors for my background because I see slightly different. So if I had this more vivid aqua color, for example, So for this, I'm just going to go grab my color picker again and tried to capture some of these colors. Okay, See this? I'm gonna cut Peter hex code and change the color of this background one more time to make it more vivid like this. Perfect brings more light to the design. So this is something good. And I'm going to do exactly the same. And capture this time one of the purple colors because I want this text boxes to have this , um, this nice contrast. So this one, Let's see. Gonna grab my color picker. Okay, grab my color. I'm sorry. If you don't see the color picker extension, it's called eyedropper extension. It's a chrome extension. So if you go to Crume, the chrome library, you can simply add this extension is a free extension. So it is very easy. Eyedropper. You called a picker. Okay, so I grabbed my hex code. Now, what I have to do is to change the color of this bucks right here for my purple color. Okay, this is good. I'm going to do the same here, using this color right here. So what I could do here is slightly moved this text to one side. So the wavy thing is not coming too much on top of it. So, like this. And maybe reduce the size of this bucks. Okay, so instead of moving it and deleted. Okay, so there are Those are two rectangles. What is this exactly? Not quite sure I can reduce its site. So it's always good to see how it particular template is made. Okay, so this going to reduce the size and I'm going to duplicate this. So I guess, like this and this one needs to be this color. Okay, I'm gonna zoom in because this is becoming a precision work. Here s o. These two wrecked angers need to have a simple outline, but it needs to be the same everywhere, so that it's an even outline. Okay, maybe a little bit more here. Okay, I have them both. Now they're grouped so I can bring them back here and actually be using the text where it needs to be. So about here. I would say bring my text back into inside the box, and I'm going to push this here. Okay? I can do this or day. So now I have my text position where I wanted to be. I have the right color background. The only thing I need to change is this thing right here in the back. So what is this? Actually, Can I move this? Let me grab it. Yes, I moved it already. So this seems to be a Grady int if you see this, it's a Grady int with the orange color and the white color. Okay. And it's positioned on top off a another color books were here, which is yellow, so I can change this year low. Okay, so it's basically a great Jens here, made out off two colors. What is transparent? I guess this is the transparent Grady int. And the reason why we see this kind off gradient between orange and yellow is because behind there is a yellow background. Okay, so I'm going to change that for my blue, and I'm going to change this great yet for my pepper. So now I have this way everything. And I can maybe turn that around to see why their second generate in terms of colors. This is not bad. And you see, there's a little bit of a corner here that's not covered, so I'm going to switch slightly more both sides. Now I have this. So this is pretty cool. There's just one thing I don't like Is this corner sticking out. Okay, so I want to bring this shape, This moving wavy sticker. I want to bring this to the foreground. OK, so I'm going to position the element in the front. So forward. Yes, this is much better. So final adjustments here, guys, I can move this one slightly. I don't really like the position of this text box right here, so I'm going to try to move it for this. I need to select it correctly. Yes, I can do this or day. So this is pretty nice. Weather is Can I do can try to make this slightly bigger. Okay, maybe move it slightly. Make sure this is in the middle. Make sure we can see that. Okay, uh, this is what I have. I'm not 100% satisfied with this yet because I guess is the orientation of my product. Maybe this bucks here, there's something off. Maybe let's try to make this slightly bigger. I'm happy with this, So let me get rid of the pages that I don't need. So once you have created your design and you are happy with it, you can just simply download as a video. You can preview it. So this is how it looks. Okay. Can close the preview and you download this as a video. Okay, so this is available to all kinda users. You don't need to be a pro user for that. So I'm just going to download it, and that's it. My design is right here just going toe open and show that to you guys. You see, everything is working, everything is here. I can do this all day, and that's pretty much it. What I have for you today I have this ah, animated post to promote my soap on social media Can use this on instagram IQ and uses on Facebook for sure. Catch the eye in the news feed. So that's it. In the next lecture, Dan is going to show you how to use video and how to use some more stickers in Canada, but also, yes, some video to make your post moving. And she's going to, I believe, creates something that you would be sharing on Instagram. So she will see you in the next video. It's sticking 4. Animated post to promote your Services on IG (1/2): Hey, guys, don't welcome to these lesson in this video. I'm going to show you how to create animated the signs for Instagram. In this video, we are going to promote a service. This is not a real service that I offer two clients. The service that I'm going to promote in these exercise is the London Page Creation. So I have four different pages that I'm going to teach you how to create. And these four pages are going to be just one instagram post. And this is because on Instagram we have a feature that is called Carousel. So in a carousel, as you can see here on my instagram account, you can go to one of these posts. And for example, this post is a carousel and we have different pages and videos in just one post. So this is what I'm going to teach you how to create. And that's why we have here for different animations or descends. So the 1st 1 as you can see ah, we have some animations like, uh, around the page. And also we have one ward that is changing, going to changed the setting here, and you can see here. I need a new landing page injury, a new landing pitch. So I I really like these, um, animation. It needs super simple To create the second page, we are going to record a video with our phone. We're going to upload it into Camba so we can use it up into our design. And here the idea is that you are going to explain your potential clients. What is this service about next page? We are going to show kind of like a portfolio off the services that you weren't going to promote. So in this case, because, uh, let's say that I create landing pages. I will love to show my potential clients the latest design or the latest on the page that I created. So that's why I did a screen recording, and I uploaded this video into camp as well, so I could use it into the site. Ah, and Leslie, this is a page where we're going to show people how to contact us. So let's go to Cumber and let's start designing. So here we are in our, um, home pitching company. And if you don't see here in the suggestions category or category Suggestions The animated social media post. Just go here into the search box and go for animated social media. You will see it here. It's a squared format 800 by 800 let's click here. I'm going to use a blank page, and after this we will see here all these templates that are also going to be very helpful later on. Okay, So before starting the creation off these designs, I would love to show you one tool or one website that is going to help you if you don't have a color palette for your brand. So in this case, I'm not going to use the color palette off my brand because I know many if you don't have one yet, and I don't know what kind of corners to use. And this is very important for you or the things to look very, very profession. So I'm going to use this website that is called called her hands that C o that cool. So you can go here and just browse through all these different color palettes and select one that gets your attention, or that you like, in this case for these exercise I selected these color palette, and as you can see here, we have the hex code that we are going to use in combat. I just clicked and it's copied. And then I go back to combat. I click on the page and I click here on the corner menu M paste here, my hex code. And here it is, the color. So let's click here and know my background, the house 1/4. I'm going to add a squared element. It is right here, and I'm going to add the order, uh, later Green. That's click here, and that's changed. These square quarter, it's do the same exercise. Let's based it end. Here it is our corner. Can't you make this square little bit bigger? And the next step, or what I would love to do is to go back to the templates and I'm going to search by the free templates. So any off you can use this tutorial. I'm going to be using these free, um templates. So I saw here that this template has the elements that I would love to use for this design going to create a new page here and add these new uh, design or template here. I'm just going to take the elements one by one. And I'm going to also use the shift key so I can select all these sentiments at the same time going to copy them, emplaced them here into my new page. So now I don't need this page and let's delete it. So now I'm going to start adding some text box is going to go here, and you can click on any off these options here case. And now I'm going to right here my services and I'm going to change this phone for I think it is called and tongue. Yes, perfect. So I'm going to use these funds going to position this text right here, and let's put them all caps Now. Actually, I think I didn't have my, ah, hot pink here on these color palettes, But let's try to make it here, so I'm going to new color and I'm going to replicate the hot pink that I used on my design previously. So I think maybe it wasa run here. Some were here. So what I'm doing is the changing here, the hue and just playing around with this caller picker. Yes, I think maybe something like this. This is perfect. Yes. Perfect. So, uh, now I'm going to add another textbooks. Maybe. I think actually, I would love to Have they come more orange hew to this pink. Okay, now let's copy these textbooks, and I'm going to use the perp beings. I think it's called Poppins Bold. Yes, because I want this designed to be very bold. So that's why I'm using the's Sunseri funds and let's remove the old cups and let's check here. Yes, this is perfect. So now I'm going to add here my text really quick and for these designed to look even better, I'm going to change the alignment here and let me make these, uh, textbooks in Pekar like thes. And I think I'm going to make the lying height a little bit. This let's be now I'm going to copy again these textbooks, and you are going to position here your instagram handle. So let's say my 100 at my 100 and let's make it smaller. So the most important, uh, copy in this design, it's going to be this one, that one, that kids, people, attention and I'm going to actually know that we have everything ready. I'm going to play around with these stickers, and I'm going to position this one here. These stickers. So people, kind of like the eyes off our audience gets ah, drawn to the London pitch. If they really need a London page, they will be like, This is for me. Let me read it. Okay, so now I'm going to copy this page, and I'm going to delete this sticker here because this is going to be for the second page. And now I'm going to search here on elements. Um, I think it waas scree Burr sticker that. See if we can find it here. Yes. So it is this one, and let's position it to front. And now I'm going to put it on top off neat. So the idea here with this animation is for people to read, need a new landing page, and then we're going to curse out with this sticker the ward need. So this is going to change really quick for enjoy. But, Monsieur, I think I moved these textbooks by accidents. You need to be careful because you see, ah, when I double clicked on these textbooks. I moved it. It's just that tiny beat. But he needs to be on this same exact place till I just went back and I saw the problem. So let's go here again. And now let's change these words for Enjoy. Uh, now I'm going. Teoh, select these sticker and I'm going to position it right below the world. Enjoy. Let's make it, uh, forward. Let's do like this. Okay, so the idea for these two pages is for for us to don't know them as one pitch like us. I show you here. This is just one video, but we needed to pages in order to create these. Ah, animation. Okay, so now that we have these, I also want to, um, pay attention to the duration off each page. So in this example, as you can see, we have, like, que said consulate, missy. Yes, we have, like, two seconds purse light. After the two seconds we see the different. But here we have already 12 seconds, because at this moment we cannot, um, IHS select the duration off each page or each, um, animation. So, uh, I found a trick, and I'm going to show you, Uh, this trick is that we're going to go to videos, and we are going to select a really short video. It can be any off them. So in this case, I think the shortest video could be these 16 seconds going to put it somewhere here. And then what I'm going to do is to trim this video. I want this page to last only two seconds when you click here undone. And now I'm going to remove Oh, or, like, add full transparency to these elements. And now I'm going to take this element copy and paste it into the new pitch. And now, as you can see here on the preview button, we only have four seconds before we had good me see 12 seconds? Yes. And now we have four seconds. So, like these we can enjoy. Actually, we can see these, uh, animation in a more interactive way. Okay, so the last thing that I'm missing here in this page is my photo. Because I want people to also see my photo, not just see, here are my services, but to for them to have ah connection with me. So I have my photo already here in one of these folders. You think this one? Yes. And because I have come a pro if you have come, Pepper, we can remove the, um, background off this photo. And this is what I'm going to do if you don't have come back, Perot, you can go to remove that beteen. I'm going to tape it here. Remove that BG. You can go to this website and ah, you can remove the background of your forties right there. But if you have come a pro, you can just do it here with one click. Let's go to effects and we see here they remove the background remover. Let's just click on this button and it will take a couple of seconds for combat to Actually , I don't know, like, identify the background and remove it. Okay, so now the effect is ready and I'm going Teoh, move the handles a little bit. So we are closer to the actual endowment or cropped out fordo and what I'm going to do in order for this design Teoh, stand out a little bit more and be trendy is to add one off these. Do it on effects to my photo. Let me browse through all these options right here. And I think the one that will look the best it will be the lavender option. Yeah, lavender or peppermint? Let's let's change it for prepayment. I think in the previously saying I used the other option, but now I'm going to use the Peppermint. Okay, so let's apply. Okay. Perfect. So now let's copy this image. And now let's based it here on the second beach. Okay, so now we have these two pages, and let's continue with the second page. Remember that these two pages are going to be just one. These two pages we see here, this is just going to be one. So now let's create the second pitch. He's one right here. So, uh, actually, I saw one off the templates right here. We some a little cute diamonds with me search or actually can go to elements. And let's search by die among speaker. Okay, Perfect. Here it is the element that I want to use, and I'm going to make it smaller. Let's duplicate it and position just one. Here. It'll be bigger. Kind of like this. And also I want to use a simple element to these design a couple of, uh, square elements here and there just to at a little something. And I'm going to use the other green off my new color palette. Honda rages selected from this color hunt website. And OK, so I have my two elements in the corners off this page and let's use again one of these, um textbooks is going to baste it here, and I'm going to add a title. Okay, I'm going to make this decks books bigger, going to use the position, but into allying thes do the center. And then I'm going to change the color to White because I think the hot pink is not really working here. I'm going to duplicate this textbooks by holding the alky and dragging the text books. This is a really fast trick that I use all the time. Then I'm going to make kind of like a call to action for people to check out my portfolio on the next page. And now I'm going to make thes a little like a smaller size going to position this one right here and let's add a sticker. So I'm going to search by arrow and sticker, and I'm going to try to find a narrow that is white. It's used this one. I really like it. And I like That is why? Because it goes really well with the other elements and the color palette, then using in thes design, let's put it right here and now. What I'm going to do is to go to elements again and search in the frames category. Let's add these little phone frame here and this us, I said, Or I, as I mentioned before at the beginning of this lesson, I already recorded myself explaining to my audience bodies thes service about. And this video should be less than one minute because each video on a carousel or on instagram in the feed. Ah, we can only upload 60 seconds, so let's do with less than 60 seconds. So I have these options here and let's at one off them. So here is my video inside these phone text, and, uh, that's it. Let's continue to the next page and actually before going or before moving to the next design. The next page. I'm going to already add an animation to this post. So let's click on the background off these designs. And here on these animate button, let's use the rise effect. And if you want, you can also check the other elements, the other animations and by clicking on them, you will see the animation appearing on the page for this example, I'm going to use the rise of animation. Think is looking really quick. Okay, so let's continue with the sign of the last two pages, but it's still. 5. Animated post to promote your Services on IG (2/2): Okay, So the next page that we are going to recreate is this one that we see here on the video. And in this page, um, we're going to show our work. This is kind of like a portfolio page or a page where you are going to give a little bit more off information about your service. So let's go to create a new page. Okay, so let's kick here. And as I already show you, you can go here to elements to find this frame. But also, you can just go here to the previous page and copy thes element list. Do that. And let's Bates paste this element here, its position it more less here. And I think I also used these diamond on this page and next. What I'm going to do is to add the text. So I'm going to copy these textbooks and basted here, and I'm doing days because that saves me a lot of time. Instead of creating a new textbooks and finding the right, um, phoned and size and everything, I just do they see way, copy and paste. Let's a change year. The title for my recent, uh, work. It's put up period there just to make it more to make it look for stylish. Let's go to elements and let's surge by against scree Bird. It's digger. I love love, love these elements and I use them all the time. So I'm going. Teoh, I think use this one just kind of to highlight the title. I love these diggers. Okay, so next what I'm going to do east to let's ah, duplicate these textbooks. And let's add, in this case, we cannot The date, Let's say April 2020. We don't need to be like, really ah, exact. With the date like the out of no 10th of April knowledge's just say than the month and the year and then here, you can use the name off the brand or the company that you worked for. So let's change this one for Anton like this fault. And, uh, maybe when you bit bigger and let's create another textbooks in which you are going to add , um, more information about this project. So let's say I think in thes website, let me just change the video inside so you don't feel lost and I am creating it. So this is the video I already like. I did the screen recording on my phone, and I already uploaded it in cucumber. So this is the, uh this is just a design that I created. But it goes really well with this example. So these website waas a five pages website, it's more buying responsive. It's ah coast, you Mai's. It has customized images, but does and video. So let's just make it smaller. And now that I reduce this size off these textbooks, I think I'm going to actually change the phone because I think it will be nice to have one text, one fund for the tighter another phone for the subtitle and one different for the body text . So I used, I think, another phone cold. Something like Cut the Meron. Yes, this one. So maybe let's try the lights, not the medium one. Yes, I think this one were you looking better? Okay, so let's go and at a new page so we can create the last page off these designs. And actually, I think I would love to add another page to these carousel because we're missing something very, very important. So let's call. He's one page a bonus page because I think it's very important you at the testimonial off a previous client. So in this case, uh, let's say that you are showing this recent work so it would be nice if you can ask this client, um, for that person's photo and a written testimonial. So this will add more trust. Like people will be trusting more in your services and your capacities, and you will see people will see that you have happy clients or happy customers. Okay, So I'm going to search in the templates area, and I'm going to use something. Maybe let me search by Polaroid to see if we find something interesting. Yes, this one. I'm going to use the one with the dog, actually, and I'm going to change the photo off course. So in your case, you will have your clients for here, but, um, I'm going to use somebody else. Photo from the photo cover photo library. So let's ah, maybe use thes when they think it's Ah, it's a nice fordo. Okay. And now I'm going to, um, actually maybe remove one of thes stickers. I think it's too much and reduced thes one here, it's Ah, remove this textbooks and let's, um, actually add one of this textbooks. Copy and paste. That's more with here. And let's write testimonial. So it's more clear people understand that this is a testimonial and going to move these iro so we like it is not, ah, like pointing at the air or the wall. I'm just going to be pointing at her face, and it's changed these for one of the phones that we were already using in this design to keep consistency across all the pages in this carousel. So let's use this one in turn. And here you will add your client's name or the brand name off this project. So just going to type brand name for you to remember. It's a positions. He's one here, going to change the corner off the background as well for the corners that we were already using and this green, I think we were using a different green. So to be sure, I'm just going to go to a different page and copy style and then based it. Sorry, I think I did something wrong. So copy and place it's okay. Perfect. So now we have the coolers, the exact corners that we have been using in the design. OK, so now what I'm going to do is that I'm going to take a written testimony it and I'm going to paste it here, in your case, if your client and send you and he made or I don't know, written to Simone, you'll be what's up or any other, um, social media. You can screen shut these testimonial and based it uploaded into camera and put it here into your design. So I'm just going to use want here and, uh, me crop it here and position it here. Okay, so now that we have these bunions page these extra page that I think it's going to be really, really important, and it's going to make the difference. Let's create the final page. Okay, so at a new page. And now let's go to you elements. I'm going to type radiant, and I'm going Teoh, try to find this one. This circular element here and what I'm going to do is to add one here in the corner and do the same one here in the other corner. I'm going to be using the same colors we have bean using in thes design. Let's uh yes, I think this can work and let's drag this element by holding the old key to just copy exactly the same element. OK, so now let's go to elements and let's type browser frame. I think it was the one that I used. And I think the element that I used afford these designed it. Waas kind of like very hidden. So let me search for it. Yes, OK, Finally, and let me show you the key words here so you can find it easily so you can use any of thes keywords empty browser frames. Okay, so let me go. I am t to see if you can find it easily. It was also heating, but you can try these older keyword. Okay, so let's make this browser a little bit bigger. Now let's search by, um, Scream bird again, seeker, because I want to find the paper plane that I used in this page, which waas really cute. And I think the color of fits our color palette. So let's add it here, and let's make it smaller like these. Let's move it to the corner. So it kind of like a We don't see where the sticker starts. So let's move it somewhere here and now because I want it takes to pop out. Like to have more contrast. I'm going to use a blank element behind these browser because if not, I will add my text here, you see? And I don't know, it wouldn't look as nice us, um, picturing in my head. So let's go to elements again. Let's bring one of thes squares and let's position it's Some are here. You can use the arrows in your keyboard to move these elements up and down and also to the sites. So I'm going to make this one bigger so we can see better what we are doing. Okay, and now let's change the color to White in position in back. Okay, so now it is behind the browser. Let me go even the earth and let's let's change, move the white square up and down. OK, so I think that browser these window pro, sir, it's ah not very straight. So I think it's OK. It's not a big deal to have these not looking very align perfectly OK, so I think this will work. Yeah, that's not that bad. Okay, so let me go up to the first page and select is two text boxes with shift holding shift and then right click copy, and it's go down here. Oh, actually, I also need these order textbooks, so actually said, like, the three of them a copy and based them here. Okay, So what I want to do is to add a big question saying, Want to work with me? Question Mark, Let's make it a little bit smaller. Not so, so huge. Position it right here and then let me add here, send me a message at it's make these textbooks. Ah, bigger or let's move it to the side. So we have this text injures one line, it make it that it'll be smaller and then you will your email e mail at website that gone. So you will add your personal email here. If you are comfortable with that, or if you prefer another way to contact you, you can add it right here and its position thes take thes. And also I think I will remove the upper case. The all caps into these text line or this text books so it will look something like this and to finalize. I think I'm also going to copy one off these stickers right here. He's one and based it. Where is it? Seemed the same patient. It's a click on this bitch based and let's position thes sparkles right here. And also, I would love people to be able to see my face here next to my emails. So they kind of like a feel that they are going to send me a message and that I'm actually going to receive it. So I'm going to frames here two elements frames and select the 1st 1 around one just to keep the same, um, kind of like elements you see the circles behind. So let's use circular, circular frame. And now I also have one of my photos already here in combat, and I'm going to use it if you also have a professional taken photo. Let's use that we need to impress our potential clients. So here it is, my photo and you finalize this design. I'm going to change these framed coolers because I think it can go better with our design colors or the color palette that we already selected for these designs. So I'm going to start changing here, the ones that we can change in this example. As you can see, we can only change these four colors. And this Brown is not in this color palette. So I guess the brown we can change it. But we can do our best. So let's change the colors that we can change, Actually, So let's do that. And I think I can select this hot being. Actually, that's changing like this. And let's do that. Okay? And you finalized these designing this last page, we are going to go here to elements and search by safe here. We will find this element, these little elements here, and I'm going to add these one the blue one. But I'm going to change the callers to White, and I'm going to have this little Helaman here because in on instagram you can actually save some, um, posts. So the idea is that if somebody is interested in your services, they can save this post and then contact you any time. And yeah, it would be easier to find you again, So let me go bigger and Also, I'm going to add a call to action here that says something like Save it for later so we can give people a hint on a lot they can do. And when they see these little icons on Instagram, they will understand that they can save this post and contact you later if they wish. So I think we have finished these tutorial that me. See if we can add another animation to this post before exporting so you can use any of thes. Let me see which one I prefer. I think I like this one. The plan option. Okay, so now to finalize thes less on Let's go here to this button, which is did download button, Let's go and select file type. It will usually go by default as video and then to don't know the first animation. We have to select both page one and page two. Then click here in done and download for the other pages. When these, um, these two pages were these designs don't load. Go back here and then select only page tree download and then, uh, do the same for the following pages. And then it just I think I forgot to Don't know the testimonial pitch the last time. And I will show you how it will look at the end when you have all these designs ready. Own your computer. Okay, so now we have all our designs here. Uh, I added one more batch, so we ended up with five pages and we can view them here. This is the first animation. The second page. They're page four page with the testimonial and the last page in which you can tell people how to contact you and you ask them to save. Dispose for later. So datum for kid about you and can contact you easily later on. I hope you liked this tutorial. And please, please, please. If you create one of this post for your instagram, attack me or let me know, I would love to see your creations. You can also put them here in the project section off these cars. And I hope to see you in the next lesson. But it's still 6. Class Project: Congratulations. You arrived till the end of this class.
