1. Introduction: Hello, I'm renewed part but I wouldn't dream architect and urban planner by academic qualification. And this is my design studio. And welcome to my class. I start doing my design studio England tabs and ten. My boy has evolved. Since then. I tried to follow all told mentors in my design studio. In my architecture days, I used to do lots of sketching and drawing. I do not remember the day on which I have not done sketching. Since then I started getting assignments from print, designing, brain designing and surface current development. I currently run now hand-drawn printing studio in general, which is a traditional craft of India. Today in this class, I'm going to teach you two of my favorite things when, when designing. And one is Calvin, we're going to develop high illustrated curling wallpaper. So let's get started.
2. About Project: Welcome again. For today's class as a project we are going to develop hand illustrated calving wallpaper inspired by cheat. And then someone wanted to design, they just open a blank Photoshop file or Illustrator file and start designing the take inspiration from say, pinterest dot anyone's worked from Instagram and they try to copy. But I think the main point here is creating original designs are interestingly, when mean Devin no computer, when Kevin No Photoshop. People still use to do print designing and ticks type in designing. And there are still people, some people, that they do not know Photoshop or Illustrator yet. But soon point is to, to design, to create your own original prints. So this course is about understanding those basics or pen designing. Understanding those basics of how you can create a repeat pattern. And once you understand the basics, the foundation of brand design, there is a vast amount of print assigned in front of you.
3. Getting Inspired: Before starting any project, you need to search for ideas or you need to brainstorm about ideas with your friends, colleagues, or even family members. You can go to, go through different types of books. You can search the Internet, you can search. You search nature, varied form. There are n number of ways to search for ideas for your projects. I'm based in jeopardy. Dipole is one of the royal heritage sites. It is full of beautiful historical buildings with even more beautiful art works on the walls of those railings. So mostly I do visit city values airport on AMI banners for my explanation. For this particular class, I have taken inspiration from most resourceful book, cheap Indian textiles for the Best Buy, Rosemary crane. I will be explaining in detail about the book and cheat in my mix lesson.
4. About Chintz & Identification of Elements for Composition: She'd Indian textiles for the West by Rosemary credit. After identification of elements from the main book, I have scribbled some of the elements in a composition form just to get an idea how they will look together in entire composition form. 5. Creating composition: He could eat for size, people started working on newer composition. Can be back in. 6. Creating Seamless Repeat Tile: Before starting to create over 3p time. Just for your understanding, make sure that you will mark on the corners of this paper 1234. I'm just putting a point and then drawing a line here. Cross checking. Now what we have got this composition into part. Now, shifted, flip it on the other side. And from bad to steep it. You have to be very careful because you do not try it in order to relieve any spaces in between. Likewise, now, we will go into it horizontal. Just flip it on the document it. And from back. Let's take this day hugging. So mainly e to this cutting ND is whatever numbering you have. Given welcome in the center. To be very precise and not to leave any species. This. Now. 7. Photocopying, cutting & pasting on wall: Do you photocopy your repeat tile on a few people, there will be space left on all four sides. So we have to cut this particular whitespace left.
