1. Introduction to the Class: Okay guys, so welcome everybody. We will be covering what the content of the class is going to be. As you know, this is going to be a masterclass. So this is going to teach you how I basically started from nothing as a totally new seller and not knowing how Fiverr platform worked to being a top ranked Seller, Pro verified and top-rated seller platform, and dedicating my life to this and being full-time freelancing employee now. So how are we going to structure this first topic we will talk about is, why is fiber the best platform for all levels? I honestly believe it is the best freelancing platform. There are many other platforms out there, even bigger ones actually. But none of the platforms have given me the amount of work and quick success that fiber can offer. And we will, we will discuss why actually fiber is so easy to start and also so easy to grow. To a large business. You might even need employees because your workload might get so high that you cannot do all the work basically for every client, that context, you need to outsource some of the work. So we will be covering how actually you can reach this level of success, then how to find profitable niches? Or sorry, there's a small spelling mistake, I've just seen it. But anyways, fiber is, has so many sellers nowadays, although there's tons of opportunity, there are also thousands of sellers. So it may seem like everything is already been offered. So this is why you need to differentiate yourself and focus on a specific niche. And this may seem hard at first. I will be talking about some easy strategies and some easy research methods that you can do to find profitable niches with opportunity. Then we will talk about how to multiply the chances of success. Not every seller on fiber is successful at all. Actually, a small percentage is successful. This is why it's important to educate yourself as you are doing right now. So congratulations on how to actually start successfully because it's important that your success, successful since the beginning of your fiber trajectory. As this will tell the fiber algorithm that you are relevant and that it should show your gig to customers. Because yeah, basically the top, top sellers, when you type in a keyword on, when a client types in a keyword or service they are looking for on fiber. The top five centers are going to get 70% of the work of the orders. So we need to ensure you are the top five or at least top ten to multiply your chances of success. And also some other strategies we will be covering. Then Fiber gig, SEO, SEO, search engine optimization. Very few sellers, even top rated and top ranked sellers with thousands of reviews and huge businesses on fiber are actually not doing this. I know this because I'm also a cell SEO specialists. So this has also helped me be successful on Fiverr because not many sellers, actually, very small percentage, are actually doing the right SEO on fiber to increase the chances of being ranked for many more keyboards. Then Fiber gig image, I'm going to teach you a freeway and actually the best way in which you can create your image. Some sellers actually offer Fiber gig image creation so they will design an image for you. But yeah, I'm going to show you how you can do it for free, super-fast, and way better than any center out there as you know best, what do you want? And then some fiber precautions. Because fiber takes security and also our conversations very seriously. So you need to do certain things, right, to avoid getting banned. Because yeah, if you get a band, you will not be allowed on the Fiverr platform forever. So it's important to be safe to do things right? I will explain the basic norms that you need to follow because some may not be so clear or some maybe a little bit vague. But it's important to keep them in mind to avoid your account from getting close. So this is going to be the content. It's going to be a total masterclass. I'm going to teach you how you can actually either start a side hustle. It can be a side hustle or a side income, or it can actually be your main income and your work, okay? It's going to apply for any of those situations you are going to decide. So yeah, welcome. And I'm very excited to teach you. Thank you. 2. Best freelancing platform ?: Okay, So as I explained, I'm going to start by talking about why I think fiber is the best platform out there. By far. Their competitors are not even close to fiber. Although some other competitors like Freelancer.com work on Upwork, et cetera, have many more clients. They have millions and millions of clients. Fiber is actually very intuitive and we're going to see the bullet points that I outlined here. And I'm going to be explaining them one by one. So the first reason that makes fiber so attractive, and it's actually the only platform, the only big platform that works in this way is that clients actually will be finding you. Okay, so we're going to have a look here quickly at fiber. So I searched for website developer. Customers would go on to fiber.com and they would serve on this search bar, whatever they might need. This case, I'm going to do three examples with website developer. So this is what clients would see. Maybe you're not familiar or you are familiar with fiber. But basically, these are called gigs. And each of these images with texts, it's like an ad basically, and it belongs to a seller. Okay? So this person, for example, this sellers saying it will do remarkable responsive web development. This I will develop a premium website. And by the way, this is top-rated seller. This is what I meant. This is what I have. You need to complete at least 100 orders and time with a minimum 4.7 rating. Yeah, it's something you will get to insert at some point. So each of these are gigs and clients. We just need to, for example, go into this game and see the packages they offer. The seller, for example, has 11 orders and cubes. Very nice. And this helps a lot. Obviously. Andrea, you have the different packages. Okay? I'm going to be talking about the following videos about pricing strategies. And also, if you should have three packages or only one package, which is the option. The two options are fiber gives you. The seller basically explains what you will get, how many days it will take, how many revisions you are allowed. And customers can either purchase here or contact the center, which is the most common thing that actually customers do. So in that way they can explain their needs better and you can give them a custom quote. So instead of choosing these fixed packages, the needs of the client might be different. And yet you just need to give them a custom quote for them. This is five, okay? And it's super nice because you as a freelancer, you do not need to waste hours and hours of your day searching for clients. Instead, clients will come to you, okay, So for example, also blog writing, let's say just a random example. So these are blog writers. They are just waiting here for customers to contact them. And I can guarantee they're getting hundreds of messages every month. Of brands are people that need their services. And yet these, these sellers are getting 70% basically of the work for this keyword. But as you can see there many, many pages. And as you can expect, these sellers on pages 5678, etcetera, are not getting any orders. Apple, for this keyword, okay? Maybe for other keywords they are getting sales. And this is also a strategy we will talk about during the SEO class. And now I'm going to show you two of the biggest platforms out there for freelancers. The biggest one is Freelancer.com. And this is how it works. Going to very quickly go over it so that you can see the big difference that this makes. Customers would need to go and search, for example, for website developer. And this is how it would appear, okay? So basically, if you are a company that needs website developers, you are going to post basically an ad like this. Instead of searching for freelancers, you just post your needs and then freelancers need to go and contact you. So this has two disadvantages for you as a freelancer. First of all, it works as a bid strategy, as you can see here, 33 beds, a 103 bits. This means that for you to apply for this job, you need to pay a certain amount of tickets, which at first you will get some for free, but then you're going to start. Two, Yeah, Basically you will know not have any bits left, so you'll need to pay for these bits. First of all, it's going to cost you money to apply for jobs that you have not even secured and you don't have any guarantee that they will hire you because every, every job has many, many applicants. So that's the first thing. The second thing is that it's very unlikely for you to get the job because normally you are competing against maybe 304050 or even more other freelancers that have applied to this job. And that obviously they're going to beat you in price. There will always be someone willing to offer the services for a lower price use. So yeah, it's very like nonsense getting to this price war. Same thing happens with upwork.com, one of the biggest freelancing platforms out there. Although I recommend you to have a profile and each of them, of course, I have a profile and fiber which is my main profile and my main source of income. Right now as I'm a freelancer on the platform. But I also have profiles on freelancer on Upwork because why not get some orders from time to time? But it's not nearly as good as fibrous on upwork.com. It's very, very similar as you can see, right? Website developer. Okay, yes. So these are basically freelancers because this is another way of searching for work on Upwork. Keep in mind, we are acting as a client, which is on this platform. And it's very, very similar to Freelancer.com in the sense that you also need to place bids right now they don't appear because I don't have any bids or anything. But yeah, you need to place bets on the platform to get the, to apply for a certain jumps. So let's go back to the PowerPoint. Then. The second factor that makes fiber so attractive is the opportunity to run ads. This is not exclusive to fiber. Many other Freelancer freelancing platforms out there allow you to run ads to increase your exposure or your visibility. But fiber is extremely efficient with this. And I've started experimenting, promoted gigs for like 60 days now. Although I'm running other ads on my main gigs, because I have many gigs and this is also something we will talk about. How many gigs Are you allowed, how many you should have, et cetera. But basically for you to see, I've spent on ads in the last 60 days, $14, but I've gotten three orders worth a $167. Okay. These three orders, I would've never been able to get them because clients found these through other ways, which are not organic ways but paid ways. Fiber runs your ad for you. You don't have control over where they show it or how they show it, but as you can see, they're very, very effective with it. And yeah, 41 clicks, three orders. So it's amazing you spend $40 and you get almost $200 worth of gaze, extra gigs. Okay, so I plan on running more ads. This is a new feature. Fiber has recently added, 2022. Yeah, it's working very, very well for me. I'm going to show you also how you can run them to get your first clients. The third reason why I think fibers so good is the opportunity to offer many different services. We're going to go back again to fibers. So let's, for example, going into this profile, we're going to go into this random teacher profile. As you can see, this, the seller is offering five types of services. Not only one, they have, She has their main gig, which is clearly this one as she has over a thousand reviews. This is clearly a teacher that is winning a lot of money on fiber. And then she also has some pro verified. This is also something that I have. It's not easy to get, but as you are, as you grow on the platform, if you show fiber, you're actually a professional inside and outside of the platform, you can get this. And she also offers some LinkedIn SEO optimization, etcetera. So she offers five different services, and this is not the maximum. You can offer many more. The fourth reason why I think fibers so good is the growth it's having. Okay, so obviously if you can anticipate which platforms are going to grow the most and which freelancing platforms are going to dominate the industry. It's better if you're early on them because you will be, your profile will be much better optimized. We will have more reviews. You will have a track record experience on the platform, et cetera. And this is exactly what is happening to fiber right now. It's not the biggest platform, but it's growing so fast. Obviously not as fast as maybe freelancing startups that are growing faster, but are not nearly as big as fiber, but amongst the top dogs, fiber is actually achieving a crazy growth. And my prediction is it will be easily top three or even top one, the following one to two years. The fifth reason, reasons, sorry, is the customers have a great experience on the platform, okay? Customers can just search for, let's say, blog SEO now. And yeah, as easy as it gets, they will find so many options to choose from. They can scroll through the fiber images to see, to quickly see what this center has to offer. Some sellers also have videos, as you can see. They have reviews, so it's really, really easy for customers to pick and to contact sellers. The chat works great. The platform runs fast and you might think this is not important to us as center, but it's very important because customers have a good time or the platform. Customers spend hours on the platform and it increases your chances of success. Then the last reason why think fibers is the best platform is that not only individuals are searching on the platform, also companies are actually starting to see fiber is a very serious platform with highly talented individuals offering their services. So sometimes companies don't want to hire a full-time website developer. For instance, if they just need a couple of websites to be developed or a certain project for a few months. Sorry. So they will, they do is they hire freelancers and fiber is being a great option nowadays for companies because they had keeps them safe. They know their work will be done grade. Their payment is secure as fiber acts as an intermediary. And I'm starting to get many, many messages and orders from actually big companies and not all the individuals. 3. How to find profitable Niches on FIVERR: Okay, So we're now moving on to the second step of this class, which is how to find profitable niches to sell them. So, as I explained, fiber has thousands of sellers on the platform, and each day, thousands and thousands of new sellers come into the platform. So it's important for you to not focus on the big high demand services, let's say, because basically you will be lost in the pages. Okay, let's do an example again with website development as it's very easy to follow and one of the biggest things available on firearm. So if customers search for website development, they have 30 thousand almost 31 thousand services available. You think that 30 thousand services available are getting orders? No. One's getting orders. Are these ones on the first page? The ones in the last pages are probably not getting any orders. So what do you need to do? Let's say you're a website developer, is think of what you can actually offer. That is website development, but not as broad as website development. So one strategy to find profitable niches is using the outer complete from fiber. So what fibers is going to suggest here as services are actually thinks customers are searching for that have obviously less demand as the broad phrase, website development. Because it's like the parent phrase. Obviously, the more specific you get, the lower demand, also lower competition, which is what we are aiming for. So PHP Website development, Let's say. This is also very, very saturated, 3,130 thousand, it only dropped by a few hundreds. Let's say e-commerce website developer. This has even more services available. So what do you need to do is play around a bit and try to find. So e-commerce website, let's say online store. And let's see if we can actually find something with less services available. Because that's the strategy, okay here, 22 thousand and services available. So we dropped by ten k already. This is what you actually need to do. Find things that are not super saturated, as you can see, even though 22 thousand services are available, the sellers here are not big sellers. This seller has five reviews and it's appearing the first organically, this 188 and fibers choice. So it's not much as you can see, we have narrowed the search and now sellers appearing here are not as big and you can actually penetrate the category much better. So let's say your website developer, what you will want to do is have several gigs. So not only one gig, but create several gigs. So let's say one for website upside developer or Shopify. Website developer, Shopify, you can have one gig for this one, which is less saturated than the broad term website developer, then website developer, dentists, let's say for dentists that want to contact you. And this has even weight less demand. Obviously, This person will design and build dentist, doctor or a health care website, hospital website, etc. So this is what you need to do, okay? You have several gigs that are more specific so that you, first of all appear more as a professional for that certain services. Service. Companies don't want people that are able to do everything. They want a specialists in a certain topic. So it's important that you have several gigs because you will see your more professional in those areas. Then you have, for example, one for dentists, Shopify, etc. This is the main point. I'm getting too. Fiber has different levels of seller. So as a new center, you will obviously be a new seller, then you will be level one seller once you have achieved, I can't remember anymore but like 50 orders are more and more than a thousand dollars or $500. And the platform, then you go on to level two, and then you are top-rated seller. Okay? So when you start as a new seller, fiber only allows you to have like three or five gigs. But then when you move on to level one, they increase the gigs. You can have two level to even more and top-rated seller even more. So at first, when you're a new seller, utilize the maximum amount of gigs that fiber lets you use. And this will do two things. First of all, it will make you see which gig is performing better, for which gig you can more messages. And this helps you validate that idea and maybe focus a little bit more of that gig to try to draw that gig, have more reviews on that gate faster than the other gigs. And the second reason is to basically have, as I call it, more real estate on fiber. Because if you have several gigs, you will appear more times and have greater exposure even if it's for the same the same service. So for example, a website developer dentist, you can have one gig for this. And then you can have another another gig for website developer health care. Although it's very similar, as you can see, the results are not the same. So yeah, you never know how customers are going to search for you. So just increase your exposure to the maximum that fiber labs. And yeah, basically, this is the strategy of how to find a profitable niches. First of all, utilize the autocomplete on fiber, but also try to study your competition, going to different teacher profiles. This teacher is new. They are only offering 11 gig. Let's go to website developer, which is the broad, for example, this person. They're offering two gigs. So this is also another strategy this seller has. Instead of having many gigs, they have decided they wanted to focus on two gigs to a mountain. Maximum amount of reviews on each of those gates. If they had more gigs than the reviews would be more spread. But as they are a top rated seller, yeah. I mean, this gives you enough visibility to not need to have many gigs. But as a new seller, I do recommend having as many gigs as possible and increasing your exposure to increase the amount of orders and money you can earn on the platform since day one. Then when you pass onto level one, level two, top-rated seller, which will be faster than you think in less than a year? Probably. You can start maybe. Yeah, deleting the gigs that are not working as well and focusing on certain gigs so that you can mount more reviews on those gigs. And as you can see, as you can see, reviews are a huge thing for the algorithm. Here organically for website developer, it would be very, very hard to be ranked if you had very few reviews. This one also has several reviews and fibrous choice, more than a 100 reviews. Four hundred and one hundred. This 111 but they were studio this also helps. Yeah. Just need to play around scout for liquor territories. It might take you a few hours to find certain niche that you're good at and that you can offer. But it's something that once you do, it's easy to create more gigs. Let's say you have detected there is opportunity for a website developer health care, which by the way, I think there is based on the results. Very few reviews. And actually there are many healthcare businesses out there needing a website developer. But yeah, it might not be your thing. I understand. Not everybody has a website developer. This is just an example, but play around with this. And once you detect a niche with the opportunity like this one, then you should also create one for doctors, hospitals, et cetera, because it's going to be related. So thank you, and let's go into the next class. 4. Multiply Chances of Success: Okay guys, so now we're going to talk about how to multiply the chances of success on the platform. There are several ways of, as I explained briefly already, maximizing your exposure. With this obviously maximizing the chances of being found by clients, being contacted by customers and getting orders. Obviously, you're not going to get an order for every customer that context to you. Obviously, this is going to depend on the service you offer. In my case, and in most cases, you can expect to close deals with about 60% of the clients that actually contact you. But the, as I said, this depends on how competitive your niche is. This is why I also recommend going into not very competitive. Categories are subcategories. In this way. You will not be competing with so many sellers because customers wouldn't normally do, is they contact several sellers at the same time, okay? So first thing you can do to increase the chances of success on the platform is respond quickly. This may seem obvious, but it's one of the most important aspects on fiber. As I said, customers will generally contact five to ten sellers to get different prices and see how the market behaves. And the fastest reply and the quickest replying sellers increase their chances significantly. And not only this, but it also helps with the fiber algorithm. But we're not going to go into detail with this. We will go into detail with the fiber algorithm and the fiber SEO class coming up next. Next thing you can actually do to maximize the chances of success, as I said, is halving the amount of the max amount of gigs that fiber allows you. In case you don't know at each one of these is called a gig. That's how fiber calls them. And yes, I said there are several levels of sellers on the platform. And depending on what level of seller you are, you can have a certain amount of gigs. Try to always use the maximum amount of gigs. So for example, it's going to this random seller. The seller is only using three gigs. And I can guarantee he is a top rated centers, so he could have many more gigs if he wished to. For example, this gig is, I can see is fairly new, only five reviews and these ones almost 300 and over 300. So obviously the seller has been selling on the platform for a long time. But he has focused mainly on these two gigs. And now he opened a third gate, which is smart from him, maybe slightly late, but I'm not going to go into detail with that. Let's look at another example. So this is website development. This is a program to find, let's see, four gigs, okay. This is slightly different because as you can see, the starting price for his gigs are fairly high. More than a €1500, etc. So yeah, he's maybe focusing the efforts on certain gigs. As you can see, this is his main gig, which is something I also recommend you to do, is have several gigs, but also have your main gig. And I mean main gig because it's the one with the most amount of reviews and probably the one he has been using for the most amount of time. So you have your main gig, which is the gig in which you want to amount the maximum amount of reviews possible. So every time you get an order that is kind of vague, you don't know in which gig you should place that order into. Tried to amount to focus it on your main gates. So this way you can have more reviews on a gig and defend yourself against new competition that may come into the platform in the following months or years after you started selling on it. And then he also has some other side gigs. Why not? You can get orders from those side gigs, then it's good. Rising talent, for example, these sellers that have the Rising Talent badge or all new sellers, rising talent, defined by fiber means rising talent with the hypertension recommended by fiber editors. So let's, for example, see this seller. New seller, obviously no reviews, only one gig, but at least he got the rising talent batch. Let's look at another new center. Let's see if any new sellers aren't doing things right. This one, she at least has three gigs. This is smartphone her she doesn't have review reviews on any of the gigs. Only reviews as a buyer, not as a seller. But it's smart. She's doing what I'm recommending actually right now, you should do, which is open the maximum amount of gigs possible. This is basically a quick and easy way of multiplying with chances of success since day one. So when you open a fiber account and decide in which subcategory you are going to be selling in. Write down a few gigs that you will actually open. From three to five gigs. Obviously, it's better if they are related in some way because sometimes you might even have two or three gigs appear on the first page for a certain keyword. So obviously increases the chances of success even more because you are occupying more space and not letting competitors occupy that space. So thank you. And let's go on to the next class. 5. Fiverr Gig SEO - Rank Higher: Okay guys, so we are now going to talk about fiber SEO, which means search engine optimization. In case you don't know what SEO means. Basically, to appear on the first results on Google, Amazon, fiber, whatever, you need a certain strategy. Because at the end of the day, Google as a search engine, but fiber is also a search engine. When customers type in a certain phrase or service they are looking for, fiber will try to return the results it thinks are most accurate or most relevant to that customer to improve customer experience obviously, and to get sales. So what you need to do is to think as an algorithm in terms of what does the algorithm want to hear? What does the algorithm one to read from my gig so that my, my Fiber gig is shown to more people. So this is done with keyword strategy. I'm going to show you. Well first let's go into a random profile. For example. This one. Let's see. So the first thing you want to do to increase your chances of being found by customers is to have a description on your profile. When you create a fiber profile, fiber will allow you to have a description, include keywords that are relevant to your gigs. So this seller, he is a web developer, so he puts it there. He is also an SEO expert because he's basic law firm, WordPress, design, perfect website, etc. So actually he could do it a little bit better. If I were him, I would include more keywords here in the description to increase the chances of letting the algorithm know what your relevant for it because everything counts. Then you have a longer description in which you can also include keywords. However, the most relevant keywords you want to include them here. So let's say your website developer or you are a, let's say you make diets for people. You want to offer a gig way. Customers will contact you and you design a diet or a gym program for them, then you will want to include those exact keywords here, Jim programs, diabetes, etc. Then in the description, it's also nice to include some keywords. Then you have another room for keywords, which is the skills. This is super important because basically it's almost unlimited. You can input as many skills as you need. This seller has actually included some nice skills which are keywords, obviously also because they are going to be customers searching for WordPress, website design, web hosting, etc. But as fiber gives you the chance to include more skills, why not do it? I would fill this out to the maximum skills I can think that are obviously relevant. If you're offering a gym programs, don't say you're offering a blog entries because it has nothing to do. Everything has to do with what you offer. But it's basically a nice area to also input keywords. Then certifications, they don't count as much for SEO, but it's always nice to include certifications. Normally, fiber will not actually ask you to send them the certificates. So you can also include some certificates that maybe you don't have or that you do have, but you don't have these certificates for them. And then I'm going to teach you how I write my fiber listings. Sorry, here. This is dummy text. It has nothing to do, but the structure is the same. Okay? What I like to do an a fiber listing, I mean this by fiber listing. So this about this gig. That's the gig description. It's individual to every gate. So this seller has just written down what he offers, but it's not very SEO optimized. So I'm going to teach you how I do that. What I like to do is include emojis, first of all, because they draw attention and it makes the customer, yeah, less bored while reading. And here in the top texts. So basically here, I want to include the title obviously. So if you're a website developer, you can just include Website Development Services to skyrocket your sales, for example, or whatever you can think of. Then I like to have a question to make the reader intrigued and want to continue reading more. So for example, if I'm a blog writer. I will say, Do you know customers spend only two minutes per blog they visit? And then you can actually make the customer intrigued to read the answer of your question and then you can actually say what solution you can offer. So we offer professional blog writing solutions to keep your reader engaged. For example, then I like to have clear bullet points because it makes the reader less bored. What do you get this down the bullet points with actually these emojis, you can just Google emojis and copy and paste them. And then I also like to include a section why I'm the best for you and actually highlight your prose. Then I like to close it with a benefit from a best selling blog to skyrocket your sales, for example. And then very importantly, if you have not completed the maximum amount of characters allowed, which I recommend you to actually leave some characters left, because we are going to include this section right here, which I can guarantee not even maybe 0.5 per cent of sellers are doing this. And it helps tremendously with search engine optimization. And I will just write this literally search terms dot, double dot. And then I will write some keywords that I have not had space to include them in my title of my gig or my description, or if they are very relevant keywords, I will repeat them here. If I am, if I know several languages, for example, I know Spanish and English, then I will also include keywords in English and Spanish, everything because when customers search on fiber, on the search bar, fiber takes into account everything. Obviously the title counts the most. So you want to include the most relevant keywords in your title, but everything counts, okay? Even the category in which you are in, you need to be sure you're in the right category because it will count. So just research what your competitors are doing. Preferably what competitors that have high star reviews because they will probably be more experience on the platform and check what categories they are selling in. Then one last trick I like to do, which also not even 1% of sellers do, is you must know on fiber, the review rate is very high. So about 70 to 80% of customers that buy from you will actually write a review. I, I always like to ask my customers if they can please write a review. But even if you don't ask, around 70% of customers do leave a reuse or it's very nice. And what do you actually can do is respond to these reviews. As you can see, the seller is responding publicly to these reviews. This is something you always need to do, but you need to include also keywords here. So this seller has responded, my experience working with Elisa was ecstatic. Thank you so much for your great support. Do you think this helps fiber algorithm know what this seller is offering? Not at all, because it has not even one keyword related to website, WordPress development or whatever the center is doing. So what I'd like to do is actually think the seller. So something like this phrase. But then also include service. Service description, thought, WordPress, website development for instance. And this is a nother chance you get to actually include keywords for the fiber algorithm that not many sellers aren't doing. As I said, less than 1% of sellers are doing. Then. Also one thing that counts a lot to the fiber algorithm, it's not relating to keywords. So we have finished with the keyword strategy, but it's responding on time. So the faster you respond to customers, the higher fiber will rack you on their website because they like fast replying sellers on the platform to increase the customer experience. So try to download the fiber app on your mobile phone. It will help tremendously in increasing your response rate. And please respond as quickly as possible to the first message of the customer. It doesn't matter if followup messages you don't respond to less than an hour. But the first message when a customer contexts you for the very first time, try to respond immediately or at least as soon as possible to the followup messages during the conversation. It doesn't count. Fiber only takes into account how fast you respond to the first message when a customer first open some inquiry about your gig. So this has been fibers search engine optimization. It has been a quick summary, but this is all you can do to maximize your search engine optimization results on fiber, as it's a search engine, as I said, like Google. So try these tips. If you are a existing fiber seller, do implement these steps. If you're a new seller, start out doing things right. Having a fully optimized Fiber gig. And thank you. 6. BEST TRICKS FOR FREELANCERS: Okay guys, so I'm going to give you some tips and tricks that I have learned on the way. As I will explain in a minute during my freelance carrier. These have been tips and tricks that I applied to my older course regarding freelance business in general. Totally apply to this class. So here you go. Enjoy. Okay, so I'm now going to give a brief list of tips and tricks that have allowed me to reach success faster. And also some of them have actually been running them on the way. I didn't start by doing them. Obviously, I've learned them on the way and by doing extensive research regarding all these freelance platforms that I've already talked about, including fiber. Of course, this applies to fiber and to all of the top freelancing platforms. So the first tip is obviously very basic. And everybody knows it yet where people get very few people do it. And it's actually to accumulate reviews fast. When you start as a freelancer and you're new, you won't have any reviews because you haven't done any jobs, any orders for customers. So what many freelancers do? You can consider if you want to do this yourself, is they get family members or friends to place a fictitious order so they can actually write a review for them. And I'm telling you this because you need to know what your competition is doing. And you need to decide for yourself if you want to do it. I won't recommend it or say I'm against it. It's something that many people do and it actually helps to get those first order. So trying to at least get two or three reviews of the first week, then second tip is actually having a broad portfolio, Sorry. So let's say you're a graphic designer or do you can do is go to some pages. I can't remember the name exactly because I'm very graphic designer myself. But if you Google portfolio for graphic designers, there are multiple websites because many, many graphic designers actually have sent them to myself when I want to order it. In which you can post a portfolio of the work you've done before. So you can, if you've done, for example, images or as a hobby or for yourself or for other brands. You can post them there in the portfolio. And every time a new customer comes to you and asks for examples of your work, you can send them this link to your portfolio directly. And this doesn't only apply to graphic designers, it applies to anyone. If you're checking CVs, you can send him a portfolio of the CVs you've checked. If you're optimizing websites as well, it applies to anything. Third tip, and this is very specific to Fiverr platform is having orders in cubed. So orders and q is the term fiber gifts to whenever you have an order pending with the client. So let's say a customer or a client found you, they already paid you, but you didn't deliver the order yet. You're still working on this project. So what I recommend you to do is even after you finished working on this certain project. So again, let's say, let's put the example of a graphic designer because it's the easiest one. If you're a graphic designer. And you were asked to do five images and you're already paid for those five images. Send them to the client in the chatbox. Don't deliver the order officially independent freelancing platform. So don't close the project. The customer will be happy and he won't care because she already got what he paid for it, which is five images so you can send them in the chat. But having orders and q is something that will tremendously help the algorithm. Notice that people value you and that people actually queue up to work with you is something that counts a lot for search engine optimization. It's a trick that all the most veteran fiber sellers are actually blink and not even all of them. And I highly recommend you do this, try it out when you get your first orders. Fourth tip may sound obvious, but it also counts a lot for search engine optimization and for where your profile is going to rank inside the platform and it's replying fast. Every freelance platform, once freelancers that are actually involved with the work, they don't want someone who opened the account three years ago and now forgot it. And yeah, if a client right, same, you won't see it. They want actually people involved. And that takes this work very seriously as it is. So refined fast. It's actually a metric that will make you rank higher on these platforms. And of course, what I recommend you to do as nowadays everybody. A smartphone than load the app for the freelancing platforms. So don't only have it on your computer desk, also downloaded on your phone, and you will be able to reply much faster than many other freelancers who don't have this app downloaded on your phone. And you will start to rank higher and higher and higher plus the fastest reply and sellers Normally get the sales because clients don't want to speak with 20 freelancers, the ones who reply the fastest. We'll start the conversation with them and the customer will answer them, explain their doubts, and increased tremendously the chances of getting that client for yourself. Then the fifth step is implementing search engine optimisation. I've got another class that goes extensively into that. So I'm not going to go into depth with this, but search engine optimization is key if you want your profile to rank higher. And there are many things you can do for this, such as including keywords in your titles, descriptions, including skills, replying fast, as I said, having orders in queue, having multiple images or even videos if the platform allows you. And yeah, these are all things that will make your profile stand out and will be considered by the algorithm as a better profile than the rest. And in turn, it will rank you higher. Then the second to last step is actually being present in multiple platforms. So of course, when you start this journey that this business, you may not have time to open every platform. It's actually better to focus on one platform to try to accumulate reviews for that platform, tried to accumulate orders, customers reviews, it's like a flywheel and grow your business insight that platform. But once it's grown to a certain point of maturity, so let's say six months after starting. So let's say you started with fiber, then open other accounts and other freelancing platforms. Just Upwork, Freelancer working, et cetera. All of the class forums we already mentioned in this class. What this will do is it will diversify your risk of easily in case something happens with any of these platforms. Because unfortunately, it's very, very common to get your account suspended sometimes for banning I mean, for for certain rules that you didn't even break on purpose was accidentally or Yeah, For example, the customer sends you their e-mail and you can't do anything about it, but the platform bands you because yeah, evils cannot be shared between customers and freelancers are many, many horror stories that I've heard and I've also been banned for several platforms myself. So yeah, being present in several platforms, such as five or six platforms is going to be the best to diversify your risk, but also to increase your sales. Obviously, you may have one main platform, which is the one that works best for you. But then you can get extra sales in other platforms which will always be welcomed, of course. Then the last step, and this applies to when you have reached a certain level of success. Let's say after a year of freelancing insight platforms. And I already explained being inside a freelance platform the best way and cheapest way to start, because you are going to benefit from the huge traffic of customers and companies that come into these platforms. Because these platforms will make, will spend millions of marketing just to bring traffic in. The best way to start is to be at least platforms. But when you draw enough, you can actually consider having your own website. I don't recommend it at the beginning. But when you are an experienced or semi experienced freelancer, opening and a website is amazing. It also diversifies risk even more because now you're in charge of this website, you can be kicked out. It's not my cutting six freelance or platforms where you can actually be kicked out of six of them. Theoretically, it's not likely, but it could happen. Having your own website will prevent this, and it will also get your customers. It will also see more professional. So it's going to serve also as a portfolio and as a brand, personal brand image. When customers contacting you through these platforms, you can also send them your own website and you will look like a professional. So yeah, these have been my tips and tricks that I've implemented myself and that have worked and I can back them up. So I hope you can also implement them. 7. TIPS & TRICKS -Buyer Requests: Okay guys, welcome to a new class. This is an update I decided to do as fiber has implemented a new functionality which is very useful for new sellers, especially because the main struggle I see with new silos, which also happened to me, is that it's very difficult to get your first customers. So what I recommend you to do firstly, is get some reviews. So maybe get some friends or family members to buy from your gig and write a review. And once you have some reviews, you can also do this trick right here on your fiber dashboard. You go to more and you go to buyer requests. And this is going to take you to this section. With this section does, I've already experimented a nice sent seven offers as you can see. So bio requests is a section where actually buyers will write what they need. So instead of coming to your particular gig, which is the normal way in which fiber operates. In here, actually, customers will write out what they need. This is sort of similar to how Upwork and other big freelancing platform works. It's great to see fiber actually implementing both methods. The traditional gigs, which as I explained, I love and are super effective, biggest customers come to you. But also this section of bio requests where you can see buyers yet explaining their needs and it's very useful to get your first job. So what do you want to do is, for example, search graphic design. I think you're a graphic designer. Here, customers. So for example, this one. What I've noticed is that the search bar is not great. It's not very accurate, but still view try with four or five searches. So this customer is explained their needs. This customer is looking for a good developer who's a Christian, whatever. So sorry. So you would go on click Send offer and you would just explain what you can offer to him and for what price are normally would I do with this section is I don't give a an accurate price as I really don't know what this customer needs, although He's explaining it here. It's not clear. I always like to have a conversation with the client first. What I do is I send an offer for a very high price, so for example, $500 or Euros. And I just explained this is just a test number because fiber forces me to basically input a number. But please tell me your needs and I will create a new offer for you, a new budget. Basically, I just input a really high number just in case the customer decides to accept that offer that we're sending right now because it's the only way to contact the customer that he had that I basically don't have to do a huge task for five years. So it's a safe way. So this is one great way to get your first orders on Fiverr and start accumulating reviews, started accumulating orders on Q, etc.. And another way is actually going to Facebook groups, posting on your Linkedin profile, also posting on Twitter and any social media basically. But for me, the ones which have worked best have been LinkedIn and Facebook groups. So you can go to Facebook groups related to freelancing or Facebook groups related to graphic design. And if you're a graphic designer or translation groups or whatever, depends on what you offer. Yeah, just post a link to your gig there and offer basically at the beginning I recommend you to offer low prices to start accumulating some reviews. But as I, as we discussed already, when you actually become a level one, level two cellar, et cetera, I recommend you to raise your prices. And they are not getting to a price war with other sellers, but actually differentiating yourself based on quality. So I hope you like this tip and thank you. 8. SOLO FREELANCER VS AGENCY: Hello everyone and welcome to this new class. So one of the things I value a lot about freelancing platforms is the exposure and the benefits you get with them. So I have been talking about the classic comparison between freelancing versus setting up a digital marketing agency or a design agency or whatever it might be that you're going to offer. So I've also covered this in other courses I have related to freelancing, but I think it's also very important to cover it in this class. So here we go. Okay, so a question, I get asked a lot and I see there's a lot of debate around it, is if it's better to do freelancing or to actually start a digital marketing agency. They are similar because freelancers can offer, what are agencies offer and vice versa. It's actually almost the same type of offering. The only difference is that a digital marketing agency will need to have their own website, et cetera. And it's more targeted towards being a company with several employees, etc. And instead, freelancers tend to advertisers cells on freelancing platforms that already exist. And they typically start as one only person. So there are several things to actually take into account. And I want you to actually think previously you set your goals so you're aware of your own situation because this is going to actually affect the decision you make. It might be actually better for you to start a digital marketing agency. So the first aspect to have into account is traffic and expulsion. So freelancing can be started free, basically for free, because you're going to leverage the traffic that all these freelancing platforms that we will talk. We will mention afterwards like fiber, Upwork, Freelancer.com, where Canada, etc. These massive companies have thousands of users or companies getting into their websites and searching for freelancers. It might be a graphic designer, it might be a, an advertising expert, whatever it is. You're just going to have to list yourself on these platforms. And you're going to be able to benefit from the free traffic and exposure these companies bring. These companies will always charge you a fee based on your services you offer. It's rarely a monthly fee or it's actually more. They take a commission out of your work in exchange for all the traffic they bring, right? They spent millions on advertising just to bring companies into the website. And you can benefit from the free traffic and exposure. In contrast, if you start a digital marketing agency, the, the way to actually do it is to create your own website. And the problem, I don't know if he actually created a website, but if you have, I can guarantee. It's really not easy to get traffic into your website. Most of the time, you're going to have to run Google ads, Facebook ads, etc, to get traffic into your website. And actually, it's also harder to convince clients to buy from you because they don't know you. It's just a random website. It's just one more digital marketing agency Out of the many other agencies that exist out there. So in this first aspect, traffic and exposure, I definitely give it to freelancing than selling a company. So when you start your freelancing adventure, you actually start listing your services in one of these platforms that I mentioned. It's going to be almost impossible to actually sell your company. I know some people actually sell their accounts because other people are willing to buy freelance accounts because they have reviews and a track record. But actually, selling a digital marketing agency is going to be much easier and it's a proper business, it's a proper company. You set it up as a company. So yeah, this one, I gave it to digital marketing agency. Then. Which one is the easiest to start? Well, this one I can tell you right away, I give it to freelancing. Basically because of the traffic and exposure aspect that I explained. But also because you don't need to hire a web developer to grade your website. You don't need to hire employees right away. You can just start offering things you know how to offer. Instead of actually having to create a website, having to run paid advertising, and trying to bring traffic into your website. Convert them into customers. So the easiest to start is definitely freelancing, because most of the times customers will come to you instead of you having to go to the customers, which is the case with digital marketing agencies, in which business owners tend to write emails, too many prospects leads, so they will go into, for example, let's say your digital marketing agency offers advertising services for dentists. Well, what are these agencies do? Is they will go and write hundreds of dentists, dentists clinics around the area world even and try to sell them. There are services. And instead, if you're a freelance on a platform that has already a huge traffic, companies will actually come to you and requests for quotes. Start speaking to you and have them explain how you can actually help them. So it's easier to start a freelance business. Which one is cheaper? Definitely also freelancing because yeah, you basically don't have to run paid advertising if you don't want to. Although you can, and we will be talking about this. You actually can run paid advertising if you are freelancing. And it's a way to actually start and also scale and grow your business. And Yana digital marketing agency, you will have to develop a website. So it's already started with a cost. The scalability. This one is one kind of depends on your business because a freelance business, I will say we will discuss, can actually be scaled into a proper business in which you actually need to hire employees, etc. Once your workload is really high, and you've got tons of reviews, terms of social proof. You have many costs. Companies requesting quotes. But also digital marketing agencies can be really scaled. Because if you're successful in one country and you actually build the brand name and start getting Google reviews, etc. You can expand to several other countries. If you actually managed to build yourself a name in that niche you're operating in. But this one, I see it as a drug because it depends which one is seen, as, seen as more professional. Actually, this one also depends because really serious freelance profile with reviews and with a portfolio of work which will be explaining how to have to set up, sorry, can be seen as really professional. Digital marketing agency for sure, can be seen as really professional. And there are many digital marketing agencies which have grown into multi-million dollar businesses. So they definitely are a serious thing. And actually, big companies trust these types of agencies. So it's not a clear winner. And hiring employees can be done, of course, as both. If you're a freelancer, you can actually also outsource work to other freelancers, for example, although this might be bit tricky, because you don't want sometimes other freelancers to know you're actually outsourcing your own freelance work for my freelance platform, because then they might actually reject that and say, no, I'm going to start my own freelance platform, freelance business and that same platform, and they can be kept pure competition. However, if you are a digital marketing agency, you can just approach them with the truth, Hey, we're looking for this position for our digital marketing agency and we want to fulfill this position. Are you interested in this one? I have to give it to a digital marketing agency. But in general, in a broad sense, I do recommend for beginners starting a 100% as a freelancer, a digital marketing agency is more costly to start. It's more difficult to get customers and you're going to invest more money and time in getting the customers. So I do recommend starting as a freelancer. And then if you want in the future, once you get accustomed to this, you can also create a digital marketing agency. They are complimentary, they are not mutually exclusive. But yeah, the clear winner is freelancing, in my opinion and it has worked tremendously well for me. So I do recommend everyone to check it out. 9. Avoid getting BANNED on Fiverr: Okay guys, so now we are going to move on to fiber precautions. As I explained at the beginning of the course, I will give you some tips and tricks to avoid having your fiber account closed. Basically because it happens to many new sellers that they do mistakes that fiber penalizes heavily. They get their accounts suspended forever. The opportunity of their lifetime just gotten out. So first thing you must avoid on fiber is trying to get clients outside of the platform. So fiber charges a 20% commission on every order, which is quite high. But you shouldn't try to avoid this fee. Because first of all, the more orders you get through the Fiverr platform, the higher ranked you will be on the platform. So you will get, you will be able to earn more money even though fiber charges at 20%. Commission. And fiber also monitors every conversation. So it could happen that if you try to give a customer your email address, your phone number, you might get suspended. So yeah, try to really avoid this at all costs. Second thing you need to know is that there is an option of fiber for you to disable temporarily your gigs. So let's say you go on holidays, for instance, for a week and you don't want customers to contact you, reaching out to you, etc, because you might not be able to respond to them on time, this will hurt your profile, et cetera, or you might not want to get orders because you're on holidays. So there is an option for you to say holiday mode. So in case you anticipate you will not be able to respond quickly to requests. I recommend you to activate this option because otherwise, if customers contact you and you don't reply fast or you don't deliver the orders on time, it will greatly hurt your profile. Those are the two most important things to keep in mind. The rest is just basically as I explained, delivering orders on time, replying quickly, trying to deliver quality work. Of course, you don't always have to be the cheapest seller on fiber. There will always be someone willing to do the work for less amount of money than you. But if you offer a higher quantity than them, then you can justify your higher prices based on higher-quality, which is what I always recommend. I never get into price wars with other sellers and try to cut the price is down. They lower the price. I lower my price. No, I never do this. I have a price. I'm not the cheapest, I'm not the most expensive. If you want quality work, then hire me. If you want to other type of work, hire another seller. This is my philosophy and it's something that has worked for me. So I do recommend you to also not tried to compete on prices that much. Maybe yes, at the beginning of your fiber trajectory because it's smart to the lower your prices to increase the amount of orders you get, and in turn increase the amount of reviews you get. And this will basically accelerate the process much more. So at the beginning, it might be smart to actually have lower prices and what do you intend to have in the future? But as a mid to long-term strategy, avoid getting into price wars and yeah, just avoid being the cheapest option out there. So, yeah, this has to be the class. I'm going to now give a brief conclusion. So thank you. 10. CLASS PROJECT Trim: Okay, everyone, So now that you have learned how to SEO, optimized a fiber profile and any Fiber gig as a class project. I'm going to ask you to open up your fiber account. Maybe wait until the end of this class so that you have all the knowledge. But yet, with the knowledge that you have learned up till now, you can perfectly open up your account and at least create one gig. And I'm going to ask you to write your Fiber gig description. So this section, the one I taught you how to optimize, and please post either a link or a screenshot of this section. In the class project section, what I will be doing is I'll be reviewing individually, each and one of your gigs. And I will let you know if I think it's correctly optimized or not. I will give you some hints and tips on how you can better do it. So if you're thinking of opening up a fiber account, yeah, I can I can assist you for free and help you for free. Letting you know if it's correctly optimized, as well as more tips and tricks if you want to get in touch with me. So thank you and welcome to the next. 11. Conclusion: Okay, so we have now reached an end of this masterclass and how to start selling on fiber and become, yeah, From a new seller to a top rated Pro verified, successful seller on the platform and you can totally make a living out of this platform. I myself am able to make a living if I wished to out of this platform. But I also like to teach classes like I'm doing right now and do other stuff. But yeah, you can totally make a living just from this platform. I know also many sellers that are making a living. So yeah. And also as a side hustle, it's a grade idea. So if you're thinking of maybe starting a side hustle, you are not sure what to start. You want some side income. And also you want to be free from location because this is also the beauty of this work that you don't need to be at a certain location or go to an office or have a boss, etc. You just manage your own time, you manage your schedule. You can work from Asia, from Europe, America, doesn't matter. And also you get customers from all around the world. So if you're, for example, in India or in some countries with poorer economies, you are going to be performing services for people in the US, Germany, France, et cetera, which half a higher budget because their economies are way better. So they will be happily paying you a good wage per hour, which in your country might be extremely good. So I recommend everyone opens up a fiber account and starts at least offering some service to see what happens. And I will be here, I'll be posting more classes, so please follow me to stay updated about freelancing. I also post about personal finance, Amazon, etc. So thank you guys and big hug.
