1. Welcome to the Class: From my childhood to the present day. I always believe that art is something that brings me a lot of joy and peace. It's almost very near to a therapeutic experience when we paint. I remember the way I was extremely scared of painting when I was a kid with constant practice. It became better and better. Back then, we used poster colors for painting, which is a very great alternative to wash colors. It gives a Noise matt finish when it dries. You can either use Gh colors or poster colors. Everybody myself, I'm a self taught independent artist and an interior designer by you can find most of my artworks being displayed on Instagram. I go by the name Shira Artations. In this class, we are going to paint an easy poster color painting, which is going to be a dense green landscape using simple and easy techniques to paint. I personally love to explore different art mediums and styles and not stick to one particular thing. If you join me, you'll find a variety of classes that I create. Before starting with the class, we are going to understand the class project in detail and all the elements that we're going to combine to form a beautiful scenery. We're going to talk about all the art supplies in detail. We are going to paint on a square coaster, but in case you want to paint on a watercolor paper completely fine, we're going to use poster colors for painting. But in case you want to use Gh colors, it is absolutely fine. It will give you same output. I'll be giving you details about the brushes that we are going to use. We're going to understand the color palette Before starting with the class project, there is going to be a very simple and easy practice session in which we're going to learn about how to paint all the elements in detail using simple, easy painting techniques. There are going to be minute details that you can create using very simple brush strokes. The practice sheet will help you a lot to develop confidence while painting. I'll be teaching you how you have to place your coaster onto desk surface so that it will not move while you're painting. It's a very simple and easy technique using a masking tape. We're going to start by painting a beautiful sky area, which is going to have a nice green shade. And we're going to paint some beautiful abstract clouds in the sky area. There is going to be a nice snowy hill that we're going to paint, a beautiful house element that we're going to paint in detail. There is going to be an amazing landscape area with a beautiful grassy and some beautiful pine trees connected. You will definitely enjoy the process of creating this beautiful grassy texture. We are going to paint a beautiful road which is connected with the landscape area having some beautiful minute details like fence, which is going to enhance the entire landscape by the end of the class. Combining these minimal elements together forming a beautiful green dense landscape, you'll be having a beautiful landscape painting. I'm very excited to share this class with all of you and I'm very sure that you're going to enjoy the entire process without any delay. Grab your art supplies and join me on this creative journey. 2. Details About the Class Project: Hey everybody. Before we start with the class project, let me give you all the details about the class project and how we're going to create it using simple and easy painting techniques. If you observe carefully on my desk surface, I'm having two paintings. The first one is a simple prototype that I have created on a watercolor paper, basically. So the painting is absolutely same, It is just a little bit smaller than the first one. I applied the masking tape on all the four sides. So when you're done painting, you can remove the masking tape to get this beautiful white border. So it is completely up to you whether you want to paint on a watercolor paper or on a square coaster. So this is the painting that I created on a square coaster of size six inch by six inch. We started from a beautiful abstract green sky area, having some beautiful cloudy effect, which we are going to paint using some simple and easy brush techniques. A beautiful sun in the sky area. Now if you observe carefully, we have these beautiful snow hills in the background, which we are going to paint just above the horizon line. Then we have these beautiful pine trees connected to the landscape area having some nice dense texture. Now, once we are done painting the pine trees, we are going to paint this beautiful house, which is going to have some minute details like doors, windows, a beautiful chimney, and a pointed roof. You can observe this beautiful landscape area having some nice grassy texture that we are going to create very easily. Using some basic brush techniques, you can observe a nice variation of green, black, and yellowish shade in the entire landscape area. There is going to be a beautiful road connected to the landscape area, having some nice rough texture and a beautiful fence element in the front area. You can observe how precisely I have painted the fence element. And it is not at all difficult, it just requires a lot of patience and some simple easy brush techniques all over. Combining all these elements together, we are going to finish the entire dense green landscape painting. You can use poster colors or you can definitely use gage colors as well. It is absolutely fine, you will get the same output. Now if you observe on the right side carefully, there are these three major colors, which is lemon, yellow, green, and black, which are the major colors. Then we are going to create its shades and tints by adding a little bit of black and white color. If you keep on adding black color, you'll be getting some beautiful shades of green. If you keep on adding white color, you'll get its amazing tints by using the combination and variation of these colors. We're going to create the sky area and the landscape area as well. The color palette will help you a lot to understand the color combinations that we are going to create in this particular class project. Just below that, you can observe a beautiful practice sheet in which we are going to practice all the elements which will help you a lot to develop confidence while painting and the chances of making mistakes will be very less. No need to worry about getting the exact color combination that I have created or painting it in the exact same way I have painted. No need to worry about the output. I hope that you got an exact idea of the class project that we're going to create. Now. Let us move towards the next part. 3. Art Supplies: Everybody, before we start with the class, let us learn about all the art supplies that you will need for the entire class. No need to worry at all in case you are missing out on any particular art supply. You will find it very easily in any nearby local art store, or you can go for any other good alternative as well. You can observe that I've placed all my art supply on the desk surface. Let us start with the first one. It is a simple masking tape. As you can observe, it's basically a paper tape that we're going to use to apply on the sides of the practice sheet and on the back side of the coaster. So that we can place it in case you're painting on a watercolor paper. You can use the same masking tape to apply it on the borders of the paper before starting with the painting. If you're using a watercolor paper to create the class project, you can use the six size watercolor paper of 300 GSM in case you want to have a variation in the size that is completely fine. You can cut the rectangular paper into a perfect square, or you can paint it on a rectangular paper as well. You'll find a variety of sizes in watercolor paper. Just make sure that it is 300 GSM so that you can get a nice thickness of watercolor paper. Now this is our class project, which is a square coaster. Basically, I painted the entire scenery on a square coaster. It's a medium density fiber board that you'll find very easily in any nearby local art store. This is the plain one which I have used. It's basically 6 " by 6 ". You can get a variation in size and shape as well. It is completely fine. It's up to you in case you want to use MDF Coaster. It is completely fine in case you want to paint on a watercolor paper. That is also absolutely. Okay. Then the next art supply is a simple tissue paper. You will need this tissue paper to dab your brush to remove axis amount of water and color. Then next up, I have a simple color palette. You can already observe my colors on it. Just make sure that your color palette is having enough space for you to take out multiple colors in it. You can mix them well. Now let me take you towards the next art supply, which is one of the most important art supply, which is the colors that we are going to use. If you observe carefully, there are only four major colors that you will need. The first one is green, then we have lemon yellow, white, and black. These are poster colors. Basically, it is completely fine. If you're not having poster colors, you can definitely go for gas colors. It is a very good alternative and you will get the exact output. Let me show you a guache color as well. This is a simple gage color tube in case you want to take up the project with gouache colors, that is completely fine. If you want to paint with poster colors, that will absolutely work. Then next up, I have a simple glass container which is having some water in it. As you can observe, you will need this to clean your brushes and use water wherever it is required. Then next up, we have a simple pencil. As you can observe, we're going to use a simple pencil wherever there is requirement of basic sketching. It will help us a lot to locate the elements in the entire class project. Now comes another very important art supply, which is the brushes that we are going to use. You will need only four basic brushes for the entire class. These two are basically flat brushes of size 7.9 No need to worry at all. In case you have a minor difference in the size of the flat brush, it is completely okay. As in case you're working on a watercolor paper, size seven flat brush will work completely fine. Then next up I have two round brushes. The first one is of size zero and the second one is of size three. There are going to be minute details that we are going to paint using easy brush strokes. You will need these round brushes for that. All right, these are all the art supplies that you will need for the entire class. No need to worry at all in case you're missing out on any particular art supply. You can go for any other good alternative as well. You will find it very easily in any nearby local art store. Also, in case you want to take up the class project with Gah colors, it is completely fine. Now let us move towards the next part. 4. Color Palette: Hey buddy. Before we start with the class project, let us understand the color palette that we are going to use. No need to worry at all for the entire dense green landscape. We are going to have a very minimal color palette. You can observe carefully that I'm ready with my practice sheet. I have some basic labelings of the colors and the tints and shades that we're going to create. Right now, you can observe the prototype that I created on the watercolor paper. It is the same scenery that we are going to paint on the coaster. Here you can observe a beautiful color combination where the major color scheme is based on green color. Then apart from that, you'll find a little bit of yellow, solid, black and white color together. On the top portion, we have the basic colors. Then we're going to create some nice shades of green. And in the bottom portion, we're going to create the tints of green color. I'll be taking my flat brush of size seven. Take some good amount of lemon yellow. Simply apply a little patch of the color onto the paper. Now I'll just simply clean my flat brush and dab it onto the tissue paper. Take the next color which is green and apply its little patch just above its labeling. Now similarly, we are going to apply the solid black patch as well. I'll be cleaning my flat brush, dab it onto the tissue paper, take some good amount of solid black color and apply its little patch. These are the three basic colors. Apart from that, you'll be having solid white color, but it is not going to be visible onto the paper. That's why we are not applying its patch. Now let us create some beautiful shades of green color. Take the exact green color from the color tube and just apply its original patch. Now you just have to observe in the color palette, I'll be slowly adding some amount of black color in this green color to make it a little bit darker. Now slowly, in a very little amount, as you increase the amount of solid black color and make a nice mixture with green color, you will observe that from the original shade it will get a little bit darker and you'll find a variety of shades in the green color. You will observe the difference as many as patches you'll apply. By increasing the amount of black color, you can compare it with the first patch that we created. This is how you can create shades of any particular color that you want to. For our class project, we want shades of green. That's why I have created its shade. Now let us create its tints as well. It's again, a very simple and easy technique. Apply the same color onto the watercolor paper. Now add a little bit of solid white color. Now this time, instead of solid black color, we are adding a little bit of solid white color. Slowly. As you will increase the amount of solid white color, you will observe that the saturation of green color will start decreasing. Now one thing that I want to tell you is that you might be wondering why we are doing this particular step. It is so that you can understand the exact application of the color onto the paper surface or in case you're painting on a coaster. Also, one more thing that I would like to tell you is that no need to worry about getting an exact shade or tint that I have created right now. Your shades and tint might vary from mine a little bit because the amount of mixing will be definitely different. So no need to worry about that. So this is how you can create your color palette. Now let us move towards the next part. 5. Lets Practice the Elements: Hey everybody. Before starting with the class project, let us practice all the elements and how to paint them in detail. You can observe that we are done with the color palette. Now, in the bottom portion, we are going to practice all the elements that we have in the entire class project. You can observe these beautiful pine trees, a nice house element, a beautiful road which is connected with the landscape area, having some minute details. A nice snowy hill and a beautiful sun. There's a beautiful gradient sky with some beautiful abstract clouds. We're going to practice all the elements so that it becomes like a warm up exercise for you so that you can get a nice idea of how to paint them in detail. This will also help you a lot to develop confidence while painting, and the chances of making mistakes will be very less. Now, I'll be using a simple masking tape to apply it onto the borders of the entire practice sheet in case you're taking the project onto the watercolor paper. You can use this technique. Apply the masking tape onto the borders so that when you remove the masking tape, you get this beautiful white border. Just simply apply the masking tape on the borders and apply a little bit of pressure using your fingers. I'll be using a simple pencil to draw a horizon line. You can also draw a rough sketch of the road which is connected to the landscape area. There are these beautiful variation in the landscape area. And then we have a nice snowy hill in the background. The sketch might not be visible once we paint the background color. No need to worry about that. We can redraw it again. Now, in the color palette, I was already having some good amount of colors that are used. You just have to take some green and add a little bit of white color to make a nice light saturated color. It's basically a tint of green. And apply it just above the horizon line. Now you can add some more green color to make it a little bit darker. And just blend it with the first color that we applied. The more horizontal strokes you'll apply, the better blend you'll get in the bottom portion. Since we have added a little bit of white, the exact saturated color is a little bit lighter. Now you can clean your brush in water, dab it onto the tissue paper, Take the exact color from the color tub and apply it on to the topmost portion. Now you can observe a nice darker color on the topmost portion and a lighter color in the bottom part. It's a very simple and easy technique of creating a gradient effect. Basically, now you can take some darker tones from the color palette. You can add a little bit of black color. Now keep your flat brush in an angle and apply these horizontal strokes in a very random manner. No need to hurry at all. Try to do this particular step in a very slow and steady manner. Once you apply these horizontal strokes, you'll observe a nice variation and a dramatic effect in the sky area. Now let us paint some beautiful clouds. It's a very simple and easy technique. You can use any of your round brush, you can use your size three round brush. Or in case you want to use your size zero round brush, that is completely fine. Now in the color palette, you can observe I have taken some solid white color. Mix it with a little bit of gray shade in case you want to make the clouds a little bit lighter. Or in case you want to take it completely white. That is also absolutely fine. Now just start creating these horizontal strokes in the sky area. Just combine these horizontal strokes together, having variation in size. No need to hurry at all. Try to do this particular step in a very slow and steady manner. Right now, you can observe a beautiful contrast of the clouds, the background sky color that we have created. You can also observe the beautiful cluster of clouds that I have created in the class project as well. Now similarly, I'm creating a nice cluster of clouds in the left hand portion as well. We are done painting the clouds. Let us move towards the next element, which is this beautiful snow hill, which is going to be in the background, just above the horizon line. In the color palette, I'll be taking some solid white color. Add a little bit of black color in case you want to make it a little bit gray. Now, use a simple pencil to draw a basic sketch of the entire hill. No need to worry about drawing it in the exact same way I have drawn it. You can create your own composition of the entire snow hill as well. Now I'll be taking some good amount of solid white color from the color palette. Use your round brush of size three. Start with the outline initially, and then you can fill in the entire hill with solid white color. No need to hurry at all. Try to paint it in a very slow and steady manner. Make sure that there is no space left in the entire surface right now. You might observe that it's a very simple and plain code that we have applied, but no need to worry at all. We are going to create some nice texture to the entire snow hill. The horizon line. You can use the tip of your round brush to paint in smaller area. One thing that you can keep in mind while painting smaller elements is that try to keep your hand very much loose and free. No need to make it very much stiff. This will slowly develop as you start practicing. I'll be using my round brush of size zero and take some solid white color in it. Now this time, I have not decreased the saturation of the solid white color by adding a little bit of black. That's why you can observe that it creates a nice texture on the topmost portion, and it basically gives us a nice snowy effect. Just make sure that your brush is having very less amount of water. No need to worry about the shape of the entire snow hill. You can create your own composition as well. You can observe that we are done painting the entire snow hill. Now let us move towards the next element. So I'll be simply cleaning my round brush of size three and let us start painting a beautiful landscape area. But before that, let us paint the pine trees. It's a very simple and easy technique. You can take your round brush of size zero and to decide the position of the pine trees, you can simply add the vertical lines. If you compare it with the class project, we have two pine trees in the left hand side, few pine trees in the right hand side as well. Now again, I'll be telling you the same thing, no need to worry about the position. The vertical lines will basically help you to decide the exact location of the pine trees. You can create a combination of two to three pine trees together. Now, once you're done adding the vertical lines, start creating these little strokes from the topmost portion. As you move towards the bottom area, you can simply increase the size of the strokes that you're making. It's a very simple and easy technique to paint pine trees and you'll definitely enjoy the entire process as you can observe that as I move towards the bottom area, I'm just increasing the size of these little strokes. No need to hurry at all. Try to paint it in a very slow and steady manner in case you find that your color is getting finished. From the brush, you can take some more color from the color palette. Always try to make a good composition of black color and water together in a very nice way. Try to have more amount of solid black color and less water so that the saturation of solid black color will not decrease. I have painted two more pine trees in the right hand side as well. I'm painting the last one. Apart from that, you can create some nice vertical strokes. You can complete the entire horizon line. I'll be adding a few more vertical strokes and I'll be applying these little strokes, painting some nice small, tiny pine trees just above the horizon line. I hope that you got an exact idea of how you have to paint these beautiful pine trees. Now let us connect it with the landscape area. In the bottom portion, I'll be taking my round brush of size three. Take some good amount of solid black color and just start applying it onto the outline first. And then they're not going to cover the entire area with solid black color. I have just applied the color on the topmost portion initially. Now we're going to add some nice green and yellow color to the landscape area so that we get a nice, beautiful background color. So I've taken some nice amount of green from the color palette. You can observe I have also left some space in between. You can blend it with the solid black color. In the above portion, it is completely fine. Now, after covering the entire area, you can observe that the colors blend together in a very nice way. You can just move your round brush in this random manner, leaving some space in between, and you will find a nice texture. We do not want a plain coat of color. We have just created a nice abstract form. There is some nice solid black in the topmost portion. We added some nice green in the bottom area. Similarly, I'm going to create the outline in the right side of the entire road. I'll be covering the topmost portion, again using some solid black color. In case you find that there is axis amount of water, you can just dab your brush onto the tissue paper. Now again, we are not going to cover the entire area using solid black color, we're going to leave some space in between. You can observe that I have applied the solid black patches in a very random way. Now again, you have to take some green from the color palette. You can apply it in a very random and natural way. There is no specific way of painting it. You can take some solid yellow color as well. You can create your own combination of colors together because we want an abstract form of the entire landscape color. Because after that we're going to add a nice grassy texture. You can blend the colors together. You can just make a nice abstract combination. Just make sure that there is no space left between the masking tape and the watercolor paper. It will not look nice when we remove the entire masking tape. Now once we are done painting the background color for the landscape area, we're going to create a nice grassy texture. I've taken some nice green color in my round brush of size three. No need to hurry at all. Take some good amount of green color in it and you just have to dab your brush in this random way. We are starting from the topmost portion of the entire landscape area, which also basically creates a nice suppression line between the pine trees and the landscape. You just have to slowly dab your brush and you will observe these small dots. Basically these small dots creates a nice grassy texture to the entire landscape area. While we are adding this beautiful texture to the entire landscape area, you have to make sure that your brush is not having axis amount of water in it to make the entire texture look a little bit more vibrant. We will slowly add some lemon yellow afterwards as well. It's a very simple and easy technique. There is no specific way of painting it. No need to worry about painting it in the exact same way I'm painting right now. You can just randomly apply the texture and you will observe that it forms a beautiful grassy texture on the entire landscape area. Now even to create a better contrast with the background color and to make the grass look a little bit more attractive, you can add a little bit of lemon yellow in the color palette. Add a little bit of water to loosen the color up. And similarly, you have to apply the patches. Just simply dab it onto the topmost surface. No need to hurry at all. Try to do this particular step in a very slow and steady manner. Take your time. Observe carefully and apply the texture in a very nice way. You will observe that when you add lemon yellow to your round rush, it creates a beautiful contrast with the dark background color, which is solid black. Also, I personally feel that you will definitely enjoy this particular step because it is very satisfying and you're free to apply the patches in a very random and natural way. Now let us move towards the next step, which is painting the beautiful road that we have created in between the landscape area. You just have to create a nice gray shade in the color palette, mixing solid white and black color together. No need to worry about getting the exact shade that I have created. There might be a little bit of difference between your shade and my shade, but it is completely okay. Now, just apply the color on the entire surface in case you want to paint the outline first and then fill in solid color inside. It is completely okay. Just make sure that you apply an even coat. Also, make sure that there is no space left between the masking tape and the color where you are applying it. Now, once we are done painting the entire road, let it dry for a while and let us create some texture so that the road will look a little bit more realistic. Take some solid white color and just apply it on the topmost portion of the road. No need to hurry at all. Just keep a very random and natural movement. Try to keep your hand very much free and lose. Make sure that you do not have excess amount of water in your brush. You can simply dab it onto the tissue paper and you can get this nice rough texture now in the sky area. Let us paint a beautiful sun. Take some solid white color in your round brush and paint a circular shape. No need to hurry at all. Paint it in a very slow and steady manner. Try to get a nice circular shape in the sky area. You can decide the position of the sun as well, according to your convenience. Now, in order to blend the road with the entire landscape area and make it look a part of the entire landscape area, take some solid black color in your round brush of size zero and add these little strokes near the outline of the entire road so that it becomes part of the entire grassy texture that we created. You'll feel that your road is completely connected with the landscape area and it is not at all separate. The solid line will definitely vanish. You just have to apply these little strokes near the solid line of suppression between the road and the landscape area. Now let us add the most important detail, which is the fence element. You can observe it in the class project. It's a very simple and easy technique. Create these vertical lines in the right hand side of the entire road. You can decrease the size of the vertical lines as you move towards the smaller portion of the road. Now connect it with these horizontal lines together. No need to hurry at all. Try to paint it in a very slow and steady manner. Use the tip of your round brush to paint these minute details and apply very less pressure on it. We are done with the entire practice sheet. Now let us remove the masking tape. No need to hurry at all. Try to remove the masking tape in an angle so that you do not end up tearing your beautiful watercolor paper. You can observe the beautiful white border you get once you remove the entire masking tape. This is also a very satisfying process. You can observe how beautiful the entire painting looks when you remove the masking tape. We are done with the entire practice sheet. We have combined the elements that we have practiced. Requires some basic painting techniques which are very easy. And it will be very helpful for you so that you can take up the class project in a very easy manner. Also, the practice sheet will help you a lot to develop confidence while painting, and the chances of making mistakes will be very less. I hope that you got an exact idea about the color palette and the practice sheet. Now let us move towards the next part. 6. Lets Place the Coaster: Hey buddy. Now, before we start with the class project, let us place the coaster onto the desk surface. You can observe that I have two of my beautiful paintings. One is on a watercolor paper. Another one is the final class project that we're going to create. In case you're painting on a watercolor paper, you can simply place the masking tape onto the borders of the entire watercolor paper that once you're done painting, you can remove the masking tape and get this beautiful white border. Now in case you're painting on a coaster, it will require a little bit of support with the desk. I'll be using the same masking tape and convert it into a double sided tape so that we can place the coaster onto the desk surface so that it will not move while we are painting. I have my plan coaster ready and you just have to place it wherever you want to paint it. Now, whenever we are blending colors, there is a little bit of pressure that we apply using our flat brush or any other brush as well. This basically leads to the movement of the coaster and it will definitely move from its position. It will not be comfortable for you to paint. That's why we are going to place it onto the desk surface in a manner so that it will not move. Take a little bit of masking tape and just flip it over. Keep the sticky part on the outer portion. Now just place it on the corner of the entire coaster. Apply a little bit of pressure. We have the sticky part on both sides. Similarly, we'll be taking a few more pieces and applying it onto the other surface of the entire coaster. This basically helps us to convert the masking tape into a double sided tape. Similarly, I'll be adding a few more pieces of the masking tape on the remaining surface of the coaster as well. I'll be placing the last masking tape as well. No need to hurry at all. Try to do it in a very slow and steady manner. Once you're done placing the masking tape on all the four corners, just flip your coaster and place it wherever you find comfortable to paint it. Just apply a little bit of pressure using your fingers. Now you will observe that the coaster is completely stuck with the desk surface. If you apply the brush with a little bit of pressure, it will not move at all. This will help you a lot to paint in a very comfortable manner. So this is how you have to place your coaster onto the desk surface. In case you're using a watercolor paper, it will be definitely stuck with the desk surface because you're applying it onto the borders. I hope that you got an exact idea of how you have to do this particular step. Now, let us move towards the next part. 7. Painting the Sky: Hey body. Now let us start with the first element, which is going to be the sky. As you can observe, I'm ready with my coaster being placed on the desk surface. I have all my colors ready, The color palette and the container with water, a simple tissue paper nearby, so that we can dab the brushes and remove excess amount of water. You can similarly place all the art supplies nearby so that it is accessible in a very comfortable manner. These are all the four brushes that we are going to use. You can place them nearby as well. Now using my pencil, I'll be creating a simple horizon line which basically supreates the sky area and the landscape area. You can slowly start from the left hand side and move towards the right hand side. Just try to create a simple horizontal line. Also, you can observe that I have kept the sky area a little bit bigger than the landscape area. I'll be using my flat brush of size nine and we're going to start painting the sky area first. There is going to be a beautiful green gradient background and there is going to be some abstract clouds in the sky area. You can observe, I have taken some good amount of solid white color in the color palette. Take the color in a good amount because we have some more surface area to paint. Then I'll be adding a little bit of green color to it. Whenever there is a bigger surface area to apply the color on, you can definitely take some more color. Now, you can take a separate brush, take some good amount of green color aside in the color palette. You can use a spare brush, or you can use your round brush of size three as well. It is completely fine. Now I have two colors, green and white together. Take a little bit of green color in your flat brush and just mix it well with white color. You can keep on adding green color into white color to get a nice tint of this particular green color. It will definitely decrease the saturation of green color because we are adding some good amount of solid white color in it. Always make sure that whenever you're mixing colors, take some good amount of time and mix them well because you do not want separate pigments to happen when you're applying the color. Now once you are done making a good tint of green color, thus start applying it above the horizon line in a very slow and steady manner. You can observe it's a very simple horizontal movement. Make sure that there is no space left in the entire coaster. Try to apply the color in a very even manner Now, slowly start increasing the amount of green pigment in the tint that we created, so that we'll get a darker tint, You can take some more green color in the color palette. It is absolutely fine. Now, after taking some more green color, you will observe that the saturation of the color will increase and it will be a little bit darker than the first color that we applied. Now slowly start applying it on the above portion. You can just tilt your brush and leave some space in between as well, so that we can create a nice abstract format. Now, since I wanted to create a nice gradient effect, I have taken the green color directly from the bottle. Start applying it on the topmost portion and the spaces where you have left on the coaster. No need to hurry at all. You can make your brush in an angle, You can observe that carefully, and you can create these horizontal strokes. Now, simply clean your brush in water, dab it onto the tissue paper, make it completely dry so that we can blend the colors together in a nice way. Now, the more horizontal strokes you'll apply in the background, the better blend you'll get. Also, no need to worry about getting the exact output that I'll get. Your output might vary a little bit because it is completely fine. We are applying the color in a very random and natural way. You can already observe there is darker color in the topmost portion and there is a lighter value in the bottom part, having some nice random horizontal strokes in between. Now to enhance the background, we are going to take some lemon yellow and mix it well with color that we already made in the color palette. Mixing some white and green together, you can use your flat brush of size seven and you can create these horizontal strokes. You can tilt your brush in an angle to get thinner strokes. And wherever you want to make it a little bit thicker, you can use the entire surface of the flat brush. You can observe that I'm creating these little horizontal strokes just above the horizon line where we have lighter value of green color that it is a little bit visible. Also, you can observe that we have created a nice variation in the sky area. It looks very dramatic. Also, you can observe it in the prototype as well. Now you can also see that there is a little bit of difference in the color saturation, but it is completely fine. Now we are going to create some nice abstract clouds in the sky area. To make the entire sky area look a little bit more aesthetic and elegant, you have to take your round brush of size three. Take some good amount of white color in the color palette. To make the white color a little bit dull, you can add a little bit of green or lemon yellow in it. It is completely okay. Now mix the color well in the color palette and make sure that you do not have axis amount of water in your brush. In case you are having axis amount of water in your brush, just simply dab it onto the tissue paper so that axis amount of water will be removed. Now we are going to randomly create these horizontal strokes combining together forming a beautiful cluster of clouds. Now, as you all know that clouds generally have a very natural and organic shape, there is no specific way to paint them. Definitely, you can create your own combination and shape of the cloud as well. It is completely okay. You can just follow the technique. You can slowly observe that I created a nice cluster of clouds from the right hand side coming towards the left hand side area. You can also create some little strokes in the above portion in case you find painting the clouds a little bit difficult. And you do not want to spoil your beautiful background that you painted. What you can do is you can practice them on a rough scraper of paper or your practice sheet initially, and then you can come towards your final painting. This will help you a lot to develop confidence while painting, and the chances of making mistakes will be very less now. Similarly, I'll be adding the clouds in the left hand side as well. Trust me, this is a very satisfying process of painting the clouds, you will definitely enjoy it. One thing that I can tell you is that no need to worry about painting it in the exact same way I'm painting right now. And also don't worry about locating the clouds in the exact position that I'm having right now. You can experiment and you can create your own combination of clouds together. You can definitely decide its position also. Now, if you observe carefully, there is a good contrast between the clouds and the background color. These strokes are basically very sharp. To make them a little bit lighter and smooth, what you have to do is just dip your round brush and water and make it completely dry by dabbing it onto the tissue paper, you can have a little bit of water in it that is completely okay. Now just apply the brush around the sharp horizontal strokes that you have painted. You will slowly observe that there will be a nice blend of the clouds with the background color. In case you find that your brush is very dry, you can take a little bit of water, but it should not be in an axis amount. And you can slowly observe that I'm applying the brush using the tip of the round brush, basically around the edges. And it will get a nice blend with the background color. No need to hurry at all. Take your time and slowly blend the clouds. Let the sky area dry for a while and let us move towards the next part. 8. Painting the Snow Hills: Hey everybody. Now let us paint some beautiful snow hills. Once we are done painting the entire sky area, having some amazing clouds, we have this beautiful snow hill just above the horizon line, which is a part of the entire painting. Before we start painting the snow hill, let us add some basic sketches which will help us to locate the elements in their exact position. I'm basically starting from the road that is going to be in the landscape area. You can create these beautiful curved lines which basically replicates the entire road. Then I'm adding these little variation just above the horizon line which replicates the mountains. Then we are having a nice house element. You can start adding a rough sketch of the entire house. I'm starting by drawing its roof first, which is basically triangular. Then you can add two walls on either side. We're going to have some small windows and doors in the entire house to make it look a little bit more attractive and aesthetic. You can create a nice landscape line, which is in a very slant manner. In the bottom portion, you can add two beautiful windows, which is basically in a rectangular shape. You can add a nice door as well. It's basically a simple rough sketch which will help you a lot to find the exact location of the element and no need to worry at all. There might be a little bit of variation also. Now, similarly, I created a simple line which is replicating the entire snow hill. Now we'll be adding the vertical lines, which is going to be the position of the pine trees that we are going to paint. I've decided to create more pine trees on the right hand side, and there are going to be two pine trees on the left hand side, which is going to be near the house. You can definitely experiment with the entire scenery. If you want to place elements in a different manner and create your own composition, it is completely fine. Now let us paint the snow hills. It is going to be a very satisfying process. Take some good amount of solid white color in the color palette to make the entire saturation of solid white color a little bit less. We're going to make it a little bit gray. You can take a little bit of solid black color, mix it well with solid white color, you'll observe that there is going to be a nice gray shade that we're going to create. You can start applying it on the outline initially, and then you can fill in solid white color in the entire inner portion. It is not completely solid white. It is a little bit dull because we added a little bit of gray color in it. Once we are done painting the outline, you have to fill in the color inside. And make sure that you apply the color on the entire surface and there is no portion left. In case you find that your color is getting finished from the brush, you can take some more color. Also, no need to worry about getting a plain coat of color because we are anyhow going to create a nice texture on it. You can observe I have also created some nice variation on the topmost portion, because we are basically painting a snow hill. Now, once we are done adding a nice coat of color on the entire snow hill, we're going to add some nice texture to make the entire snow hill look a little bit more aesthetic and elegant. You can observe I'm having some good amount of gray color in my color palette. You can start applying the color on the topmost portion and you can just create this beautiful texture which makes the entire snow hill look a little bit more aesthetic and elegant. It's a very simple and easy technique. Just use the tip of your round brush and apply this texture effect. You just have to dab your brush in this random manner. No need to hurry at all. Take your time. Paint it with patience. And try to keep your hand very much loose and free. No need to make it very stiff. You can slowly observe that we get a nice variation in the entire snow hill. It looks a little bit more aesthetic than applying a simple plain coat. We are almost done adding a beautiful texture on the entire snow hill. I hope that you got an exact idea of how you have to paint a beautiful snow hill in the background. Now let the snow hill dry for a while and let us move towards the next part. 9. Painting the House: Hey everybody. Now let us paint the house which is the most favorite element of mine in this particular painting. You can observe in the prototype we have this beautiful snow hill which we have already painted. And now we're going to move towards the next element, which is going to be this beautiful house. You can observe that the color scheme for the entire house is based on lemon yellow color. We're just going to create its shades and tints. I'll be placing the prototype nearby so that you can observe carefully how we are going to paint the entire house. You can also observe that I have already created a basic rough sketch, placing the entire house in the landscape area. Let us start by painting the roof of the entire house. Let me take you a little bit closer in the color palette so that you can observe the color carefully. I'll be adding a little bit of solid white color to make the entire roof look a little bit more vibrant. I'm using my round brush basically to mix the color. Well, whenever you are trying to mix two colors together, always take some good amount of time and mix the colors well, so that when you apply it on the surface there will not be different pigments to observe. You can definitely add some good amount of water to loosen the color up, but it should not be in an axis amount. Now, once you have created a beautiful tint of lemon yellow color, you can start applying it in the roof area. I'll be using my round brush of size three right now. You can start by applying it on the outline initially, and then you can fill in the solid color in the inner portion or in case you want to apply it on the entire surface slowly, that is also completely fine. Just be a little bit careful near the outline because we do not want the color to go outside the outline. You can use the tip of your round brush basically, and apply very less pressure on it. Always try to keep your hand very much loose and free. Whenever you're painting in a very smaller area. You can slowly observe that we have covered the entire roof. Now after the roof area, we are going to paint the walls of the entire house and it is going to have a different shade. For that, we are going to create the shadow effect of the entire roof onto the walls. You will observe a nice difference, you can observe in the roof carefully in case you find that there is any space left to paint. You can definitely cover that up whenever you're painting in a very smaller portion. Always make sure that there is no space left to paint. In case you find that your color is getting finished from the brush, you can definitely take some more color from the color palette. In case you find that your color is getting very much stiff, you can definitely add a little bit of water in it. I'll be painting the walls using the same color, but no need to worry about it. We are going to create some nice depth and shadow effect using the same lemon yellow color and applying it on the walls. Be a little bit careful while you're applying it near the edges. Just observe the pencil line carefully and paint it inside the entire portion. Be a little bit careful near the roof. Also, try to use the tip of your round brush to paint in smaller portion. Apply very less pressure on it and try to keep your hand very much loose and free. Now what we're going to do is that we are going to create the shadow effect of the entire roof in the walls, so that it creates a nice difference between the roof and the walls. It's a very simple and easy technique. Take your round brush of size zero. Take some good amount of solid black color in it. Apply it just on the bottom portion of the entire roof, which is basically the bottom part of the triangular surface. Now just below the roof, we are going to create a nice shadow effect. You can take some more solid black color from the color palette and you can add a little bit more thickness to the entire line. Let us add the details also, you can just apply very less pressure on your round brush. Use the tip of your round brush and create these horizontal lines in equal distance. This basically creates some nice details to the entire house. No need to hurry at all. Try to paint the horizontal lines in a very slow and steady manner. Try to have some patients. Now the last line, which is just below the roof, you can make it a little bit thicker by applying a nice coat of solid black color. Now I'll be just making a gray shade in the color palette. Mix some white and black color together. Now, apply the color just below the roof line. Right now, you can observe a great contrast between both the colors, lemon yellow and the gray color that we applied. You can simply clean your round brush in water, dab it onto the tissue paper, and blend both the colors together. For this, you have to just make a circular movement using your round brush. And you will slowly observe there will be a nice blend between both the colors. We are basically doing this particular thing to create a shadow effect of the entire roof. We basically want to create some depth, and that's why we have created this beautiful shadow effect. No need to hurry at all. Try to do this particular step in a slow and steady manner. Make your round brush a little bit dry to blend the colors in a better manner. You can observe the movement of my round brush. It's a simple circular movement using the tip of the round brush, basically. Now you can observe a nice blend of both the colors together. Don't worry about the rough texture. It is completely fine in case you want to practice painting the entire house on a rough scrape of paper initially, and then you want to come towards your final painting, it is completely fine. This will help you a lot to develop confidence while painting, and the chances of making mistakes will be very less. Now let us add few more details to the entire wall, which is going to be some small windows and doors. You have to take your round brush of size zero. Again, take some solid black color in it. I'll be painting two little windows on the left hand side, there's going to be a nice door, which is going to be a little bit bigger. You have to paint the entire door. Touching the ground line, you can create the outline first and then fill in solid black color in the inner portion. No need to hurry at all. You can already observe how beautifully the solid black color creates a nice contrast with the lemon yellow. I'm adding two little windows on the right hand side as well, touching the roof area. You can just paint these vertical lines on either sides of the walls. Whenever you're painting on a smaller portion, always make sure that you use the tip of your round rush. Apply very less pressure on it to add few more details and make the house look a little bit more aesthetic. We can just add a little chimney on the right hand side of the entire roof. Just create this rectangular shape. We're almost done painting the entire house now. Let it dry for a while and let us move towards the next part. 10. Painting the Landscape: Hey buddy. Now let us paint the landscape area. In the entire painting, we are done painting the beautiful element, which is the house. Now we have this beautiful landscape area around the entire house, there are these beautiful pine trees connected to the landscape area, a nice grassy texture in the entire landscape portion, which we are going to paint using some basic painting techniques. It is going to be really easy and simple. No need to worry about that right now. You can observe that we already have our pencil lines, which is basically the position of the pine trees. It's a very simple and easy technique to paint them. Take your round brush of size zero, take some good amount of solid black color in it. Now you can already observe the vertical line start applying the color from the topmost portion and create these little strokes. Now slowly as you move towards the bottom portion, you just have to simply increase the size of the strokes that you're making. No need to hurry at all. Try to do this particular step in a very slow and steady manner. You can use your round brush of size zero on the topmost portion. As you move towards the bottom part and you want to increase the foliage of the entire pine tree, you can take your round brush of size three so that you can get some more surface of the brush to paint. You can create some more bigger strokes. It is absolutely fine if you use the same round brush as well. It is completely okay. You can carefully observe that the way I'm moving towards the bottom part, I'm slowly increasing the size of the strokes that I'm making. It basically defines the entire pine tree. Slowly, I'm moving towards the bottom part. Be a little bit careful near the roof area. The black color should not go inside the roof. It will not look nice then. Now, once you have touched the ground line, you can stop there because we are going to paint it later. Now, similarly, we'll be painting the remaining pine trees as well. It is going to be the same step this time. This particular pine tree is a little bit smaller than the first one. Again, the steps are absolutely same. Start creating these little strokes on the topmost portion. As you move towards the bottom part, you can slowly increase the size of the strokes that you're making. You can use the tip of your round brush, apply very less pressure on it. Also, no need to hurry at all in case you find that your color is getting finished from the brush, you can take some more color from the color palette. Definitely, you have to enjoy the process of painting these beautiful pine trees. You can have your own variation. You can decide the position of the pine tree. You can in fact, play with the shape and size of the pine tree as well. I'm almost done painting the second pine tree as well. And be a little bit careful near the roof area. Now you can observe that we have few pine trees in the right hand side as well. The steps are absolutely same. You can also observe that there is a little bit of variation in the height of the pine trees, but the painting method is absolutely same. You can slowly observe carefully and start painting them as well. Oh, as you can observe, I repeated the same steps and added these little strokes on the topmost portion using my round brush of size zero. Now we'll be covering the remaining portion. I'll be taking my round brush of size three. You can paint the ground line using solid black color, creating some nice variation in the ground area. Once we have applied this beautiful black patch, we can attach it with the pine trees. Now I'll slowly start applying the bigger strokes. When I come towards the bottom portion, I will attach the solid black color with the landscape area. Now similarly, we'll be connecting the remaining pine trees with the landscape area as well. We are done with the pine trees. Now let us paint the remaining landscape area, which is going to be in an abstract form. I'm starting with the landscape near the house. You just have to use the tip of your round brush of size three, Apply a solid black patch. Make sure that you do not leave any space in between. Be a little bit careful near the house because we do not want the solid black color to go inside the house. Element supply very less pressure. And use the tip of your round brush carefully. Similarly, I have used the tip of my round brush and painted the outline in the bottom portion of the entire house. Slowly cover the entire area on the left hand side using solid black color. Now you can apply some nice solid black patches in between in a random manner. No need to worry about painting it in the exact same way I'm painting right now. You can leave some space in between where we will apply some green and lemon yellow color. I'm creating the outline for the road on the right hand side as well. Using the tip of my round brush. Now connect the solid black color just below the pine trees as well. Again, similarly, we are going to apply some random solid black patches. No need to worry about getting the solid black patches in the exact same way I'm painting right now. You can naturally create the patches according to your convenience and randomly apply it on the remaining portion in case you find that your color is getting finished From the brush, you can take some more color from the color palette. Now simply clean your round brush of size three. Take some good amount of green color and apply it below the solid black patch. You will observe a nice variation of the color. It is definitely darker because we have already applied some black color. But there will be a nice green patch also in between. It's basically a mix and match of both the colors together and there is no specific way of painting it. Your combination of colors might vary from mine and it is completely okay. You can take some lemon yellow in between and you'll observe a nice blend of all the colors together. I'm using the same round brush and creating this beautiful abstract effect in the landscape area. Don't worry about getting a nice plain coat of the entire color, because anyhow, we are going to create a grassy texture also. This will be a very amazing process of painting. You will definitely love it now once we have created a combination of all the three colors together in case you want to blend it in a better manner, you can just clean your brush, dab it onto the tissue paper. Your brush will be a little bit dry and you'll be able to blend the colors together in a very better manner. Now similarly, we are going to create this beautiful abstract effect on the left hand side as well, just below the house. You can already observe I left some space in between. You can take some green color and apply it in between. You can also take some water so that the color will spread in a nice way. Take some lemon yellow in between and you can apply it just above the road area. You can observe how beautifully the entire color will look. Once you start blending all the three colors together, again, I'll be telling you the same thing. No need to worry about getting an even coat of color. We are anyhow going to cover it using a beautiful grassy texture. This is basically a background color that we have created initially for the entire landscape area. Once we are done painting the entire background color, just have a look at the entire surface, make sure that there is no space left on the entire coaster. We are almost done creating the background color. Now in the prototype, if you observe carefully, there is this beautiful grassy texture that we are going to create on the entire surface. Before we apply it to the painting, let me show you on a rough scrape of paper, you have to take some solid green color. We are also going to take some lemon yellow using your round brush of size three. You just have to create this beautiful texture by simply dabbing your brush onto the entire surface. I'll be taking some green color from the color palette. You can make it a little bit lighter to create a nice contrast with the background color by adding some lemon yellow in it. While you're creating this beautiful grassy texture, you have to make sure that your brush is not having axis amount of water in it. Because in case you're having axis amount of water in your brush, you won't be able to create this beautiful texture. You have to make sure that your brush is very much dry. In case you find that there is axis amount of water in your brush, just simply dab it onto the tissue paper. Now you can observe that using the tip of my round brush, I'm just creating this beautiful texture by simply dabbing the brush around the house area. We're not going to cover the entire area, Just apply it in a very random manner on the topmost portion of the entire landscape area, basically. This basically creates a nice combination of the background color where we have solid black patches. And this color particularly creates a nice contrast also. Now, similarly, we are going to create this beautiful grassy texture on the right hand side as well. You can start just below the pine trees, Take some solid green color from the color palette, dab it onto the tissue paper in case you find it a little bit wet, just apply below the pine trees. We are not applying it in a very major amount, just a little bit of texture, so that we get a nice suppression between the pine trees and the landscape area. This is a very simple and easy technique to paint grass in any particular painting when you're already done with the background color. Similarly, you can apply the brush in a very random and natural manner. No need to worry about painting it in the exact same way I'm painting right now. You can apply the texture in a very natural way. According to your convenience. It is completely fine. I'm adding the texture near the road as well, where we have this beautiful solid black patch. The color basically creates a nice contrast when there is black color in the background in case you find creating this particular texture a little bit difficult and you do not want to spoil your beautiful background color. What you can do is you can practice this particular texture on a rough scrape of paper initially, and then you can come towards your final painting. This will help you a lot to develop confidence while painting, and the chances of making mistakes will be very less. We are almost done applying a beautiful grassy texture, using a round brush of size three to make a better contrast and enhance the entire grassy effect. I'll be taking some lemon yellow in my color palette, mix it with green color. Now this time we have more amount of lemon yellow in our round brush. The lemon yellow color will create even better contrast with the background color. We are going to apply this particular texture on the topmost portion of the grass. It will create a beautiful contrast. Your grass element will look even more better and it will create more aesthetics to the entire painting. These steps are absolutely same. You just have to dab your brush in this random manner on the topmost portion of the grass that you have already created. Make sure that your brush is very much dry. In case you find that there is more amount of water in your brush, just simply dab it onto the tissue paper. Now you can observe carefully and repeat the same steps in a very slow and steady manner. Now you can observe that we are almost done creating a beautiful lemon yellow texture as well. And it enhances the entire grassy effect. Also, I'm very sure that you're definitely going to enjoy this particular step if you want to practice the grassy effect and how to paint it using this simple brush technique, what you can do is you can apply a nice dark black background on a rough scrape of paper or a dark green background as well will work completely fine. Let it dry for a while, and then using your round brush of size three, you can create this beautiful texture. Practice it on a rough scrap of paper initially. And then if you come towards your final painting, it will help you a lot to develop confidence while painting, and the chances of making mistakes will be very less. We are done creating the grassy texture. Now let us move towards the next part. 11. Painting the Road: Hey, every buddy. Now, let us paint the road and some minute details to the entire painting. So we are almost done painting the landscape area and adding this beautiful grass effect. Now, we have this nice gray road passing in between and which is connected to the landscape area and some beautiful fence which is connected to the road. So you just have to create a nice gray shade in the color palette, use some black and white color together and create a nice gray shade. No need to hurry at all. Whenever you are mixing two colors together, take your time and mix them well because we do not want different pegments to happen when we apply the color on the entire surface. So I've taken two colors together, black and white, and I have created a gray shade. You're going to apply it on the entire road surface. Also, no need to worry about getting an exact shade that I have created. There might be a little bit of difference between your gray shade and mine. It is absolutely fine. So no need to worry about that because definitely the mixing amount will be different. So I'm slowly starting by applying the color from the topmost portion, and slowly, I'll be moving towards the bottom area. Try to apply a nice coat of the entire color and make sure that there is no space left in between. Don't worry about the outline between the landscape area and the road. We are going to give a nice detailing, painting some beautiful grasses around the outline. Also, in case you find that your color is getting finished from the brush, you can take some more color from the color palette. In case you find that you have axis amount of water in your brush, you can simply dab it onto the tissue paper. So we are almost done painting the entire road. I'm just covering it up in the bottom portion. Right now, you can observe a beautiful plain coat of a gray shade that we have created right now. You can randomly use the tip of your round brush and apply these little strokes in between so that there will be a rough texture on the entire surface. So now, once we are done applying the gray shade, we are going to just make the outline a little bit more abstract. Right now, there is a clear difference between the landscape area and the road that we have painted. So for that, you have to take your round brush of size zero, take some green color in it, and you're going to apply strokes, vertical strokes, basically, defining some beautiful grass. It's a very simple and easy technique. You just have to combine these little vertical strokes together. A little bit of color is also going inside the gray color that we have applied on the road. So it basically makes the entire road look a little bit more abstract and combined with the landscape area rather than having a perfect line of suppression. No need to hurry at all. You have to do this particular step in a very slow and steady manner. Try to have a little bit of patience while applying these little vertical strokes together. You can combine the green color with solid black color as well, and you can apply these little vertical strokes on the topmost portion of the road as well. So you will observe that the road will get a noise blend with the landscape area. The more vertical strokes you'll apply, the better blend you'll get, and the line of suppression will get a little bit more abstract. Use the tip of your arm brush while you're painting this beautiful grassy effect. So we are almost done creating a beautiful outline. Now, let us create some nice texture in the pine trees as well to make them look a little bit more aesthetic. The steps are absolutely same. You just have to take some green color in case you want to make it a little bit darker, so you can create its shade by adding some black color in it. Now using your round brush of size three, you can just create this beautiful texture by simply dabbing the brush on one side of the pine tree only. We're not going to cover it completely. So I'm just trying to dab my brush in this random manner, not covering the entire solid black surface. Okay. No need to hurry at all, do this particular step in a very slow and steady manner. You can also observe that I'm trying to create these little dots to make the pine tree look a little bit more aesthetic. You can slowly add this beautiful texture on the second pine tree as well. In order to get this beautiful texture, you have to make sure that your brush is very much dry. There should not be axis amount of water in it because then you won't be able to get this beautiful texture. So in case you find that there is axis amount of water in your round brush, just simply dab it onto the tissue paper and slowly start creating this beautiful texture on one side of the pine tree only. So the pine trees that we have in the left side, I have created the texture on the right side, and the pine trees that we have on the right side, I have created the texture on the left side. Now, let us paint this beautiful fence element, which we have connected to the road, and it also creates some nice details to the entire road. But before that, take some solid white color in your round brush of size three and just create this beautiful texture on the above portion. So it basically creates a nice rough element to the entire road. Rather than having a plain gray color to the entire road, you can create some nice depth and damage. So I'm not having any amount of water in my round brush. I have made it completely dry, took some solid white color in it and started applying this beautiful texture by just randomly moving my brush on the topmost surface. Now, once we are done painting this rough texture, let us paint the fence element. So I'll be using my round brush of size three again, and you just have to take some solid black color in it. It's a very simple and easy technique. You just have to create these vertical lines. You can apply multiple strokes to make the vertical line a little bit thicker. Now, as you move ahead in the road, you can simply decrease the size of the vertical lines. You can also paint them in an angle to create some variation in the fence. So I'll be adding the last one. Now, once we are done, painting the vertical lines, we are going to add these little vertical strokes near the line where it is touching the landscape area so that the vertical lines are in connection with the landscape area. Now, I'll be taking my round rush of size zero, and we are going to connect all the vertical lines together by creating thin horizontal lines. So it's going to be a step where you will need a lot of patients. You have to keep your hand very much free, and it should not be stiff. Apply very less pressure on your round rush and just simply use the tip of your round rush to connect the vertical lines together. You can observe it's a simple horizontal line. You can create a variation in the horizontal lines by having a difference in the levels. Now, we are going to repeat the same process and we are going to double the horizontal lines so that there can be some more aesthetics to the entire fence that we have painted. No need to hurry at all. Try to paint it in a very slow and steady manner. In case you find that your color is getting finished from the brash, you can definitely take some more solid black color from the color palette. And I'll be adding a few more horizontal lines on the back side of the fence as well. So I hope that you've got an exact idea of how you have to paint this beautiful fence. Now, let us paint the sun in the sky area. I'll be taking my round brush of sky zero. Take some solid white color in it and paint a circular shape in the sky area. I'm painting the sun just above the horizon line in case you want to place the sun according to your convenience, it is absolutely fine. Just try to paint a circular shape. Now, to enhance the windows and doors, you can add these vertical and horizontal lines in between the solid black color so that we can add few details to the house element. Just apply very less pressure and use the tip of your arm brush. You can observe a beautiful contrast of the solid white line with the background black color. You can also add these little vertical lines in these smaller windows that we have painted on the right hand side. So we are almost done with the entire painting. You can give some final details by adding these little grass near the house element. Now, I will slowly detach the entire painting from the desk surface. And let me take you a little bit closer so that you can observe all the details carefully. You can see how beautifully we combined some minimal elements together to form a beautiful green dense landscape. Whether you're painting on a watercolor paper or a square coaster, it is absolutely fine. I'll be very excited to see all of your class projects. Now, let us move towards the next part. 12. Class Conclusion: When you take out some time from a very busy and hectic schedule, it brings a lot of peace and self satisfaction. Poster colors are great alternative to gas colors. You can use any of the art medium to create this particular art project. You will get the same output. Always make sure that you definitely enjoy the process of creating. While I was creating this particular class, I made any number of mistakes. And that is something I always tell my students, never to be afraid of making mistakes. One thing that I always suggest my students is to maintain an art journal on which you can practice on a regular basis and keep a record of your artwork. I would be really excited to see all of your class projects. Feel free to ask any questions or doubts you have related to the class. It would be really great if you leave a review for the class as it encourages me a lot and my class can reach many more students like you. At the end, I would like to say keep learning, keep practicing, enjoy the process. Thank you so much for joining the class and happy painting.
