Draw a Giant Waterfall

1. Introduction: Hello everyone, Welcome to my class. In my class I will show you how you can easily draw and color a giant waterfall that too, by using just three colors. For this class, you need no grad experience. And hence this class is for everyone out there. And the next lesson, I will be sharing your project for this class. So you've been completed the project work within the class itself. So let us stop. 2. Project Work: Hello there. Your project well for this class is to draw and color the waterfall. As you learn in this class, click the picture of the giant waterfall that you draw and Carlo and then upload the picture and projects and resources section of this class. I know you all must be very much excited to learn this. So let's quickly move to the next lesson to discuss the material required for this class. 3. Material Required: For this class, I'm going to use a plane ride cheat to draw on three brush pens. Black one to draw the waterfall, to color the water. And single color to fill in the rock walls, we are going to draw a stack. 4. Drawing the Waterfall: Let us start the waterfall for drawing. I'm going to use black brush pen. You can use any marker or a fine liner, or maybe just the sketch pen of black color. That's your choice. Let's move further. Now. Firstly, draw the two lines like I'm trying. These are not exact parallel lines as you can observe. No need to use ruler even draw these freehand. Just to observe here that the ends here archived outwards. You also have to draw it the same way. This shows that the water is flowing from this particular space, but going into a broader idea, now, we have to join the upper side of this waterfall by using small curves. These curves are also to be drawn freehand and denotes that the water is enough flowing state. You can observe and draw similar curves, but drawing exact same is not mandatory. Now, just highlight every curve drawn there. Just now draw a curved line over this side to make a big space for water. This line is to draw freehand. Now as to show this complete area as water body, we will draw a curved line over the right-hand side. Also just has read true on the left-hand side. Now, on both sides or this water stream, we have to draw a big rock walls. So let's draw that. For this. Just make a big rock like i2. Make sure to draw the rocks a level up then the water so that it looks realistic. Now, draw another rock like I'm drawing. These have to be of not any particular shape or size, but just make sure to make big rocks. You can observe the gap hill. It's certainly okay. The scap doesn't symbolizes the gap in the complete wall. Then the grab only at the visible layer of rocks. We will fill the color of the same rock, and then this will be more close to reality. We are now done with the rock wall on the right-hand side. And we have to draw a rock wall on both sides. So let's draw on left side the similar way. Just keep in mind that trying exactly the mirror image of what we drew on the right-hand side is not what we have to do. Use the same method but not exact copy. Now, both the sides or the waterfall is complete for drying. We will take care of these gaps while coloring. We have to now show that the water is flowing downwards. So draw some random lines to denote that just the way I'm drawing. The flow of water is very much indicated. Now, we will start coloring in the next lesson. 5. Colouring the Waterfall: We are already done with drawing onto giant waterfall and the previous lesson, let us start coloring it now in this lesson. Firstly, I'm going to use silver brush to fill in the rock wall we have drawn on both sides. And be careful by filling these because the special thing about the silver brush pen hell, is that it covers the black color easily. So we have to use this very carefully. Hi, overhead, lead. Simply use black pen again to make this outline offer. Ok. Again, let us start with silver. If you want, you can use watercolor also, but I feel that it looks beautiful this way itself. There is investments is really create for these kinds of drawings because rush mins are very much similar to the watercolors. And I'll have some free. You don't need additional water to use for these kind of drawings. So it makes their work hazard free. So that's the key while using brush pens. We are now done with the right-hand side. Isn't realistic. Similarly, the left-hand side. Carefully, patiently. Hello to do corrections. Necessity. Highlight the color of rocks where you feel it low by simply doing one more coat of color over it. This is really, really simple. Using brush pens. These black outlines may not look so unnecessarily right now, but I'm going to give you a great look of waterfall at the end. So keep maintaining the outlines. This will give a different kind of a grace to your waterfall at the end. Now both this sides are colored. The wall is complete. Now we are halfway there to the giant waterfall. So you can now ready with your swimsuits. Okay. Now, for the waterfall using blue brush pen and filling the area in a particular direction that is from upwards to downwards. For this, you're going to also keep your sheet horizontally and then proceed. This will help you to color easily in this direction. One thing I would like to mention is that this blue color does not overlap the black arrow, which makes it easy to use it. Also, you have to do so many layers or the Scala one over another in order to make this look dark and realistic, no need to draw any lines to indicate the direction of the water. Now, just darken the color once more defined direction to make it look more realistic. You also observe that differentiate of water denotes. Now we're ready, isn't looking so realistic? 6.
