1. Introduction : Hey, everybody. My name Nick Nebelsky and I am the owner of AI storytellers. It's a school community based on school. It's a top 1% community in engagement. And I am here today to share with you a way to make seamless videos or what I call no edit videos. In this case, we're going to be using Grok. Grok has a feature where a lot of the apps around right now in AI film have a feature called extend, and it's simply that's what we're going to use, and that's what we're going to learn today. It's real simple. It's an easy type of lesson, but there is some I wouldn't say complexities about it, but there are some things that we need to keep in mind when we're doing it, and that's the purpose why I'm here. Now, it's going to be probably about four or five videos. We're going to discuss how to extend a video, and there are two or three different ways to do that. And the first idea or the first goal for us is to create a 32nd video. In fact, that will be the project for you. To create a 32nd, at least let's say this 25 to 32nd video with no edits. And the beauty of this we start with one image. We'll get great character consistency. We'll get a seamless video, which means there will be no hard transitions, no hard cuts. Everything will be nice and smooth. And then we'll just try to see where we go from there. And we're going to do more than one prompt because we're going to need to carry that image throughout the whole 30 seconds. Now, if you want to do a 1 minute, you can do that, too, but just know that there will be one edit there, and that's something that will teach you or I'll teach you how to do that to make sure that there is good consistency and continuity. I can't wait to meet you. I can't wait to see your stuff, and let's get started. 2. Step 1: Create Your First Seamless Animated Short: Alright, everybody. We're here on the dashboard of grocgroc.com. Their image and video render is in Under Imagine. So it's this little oh, it's lost. Go back here. There we go. So over here on the left hand side, you can see that little um image icon, this is Imagine. And this is a public dashboard of what's available or what people are doing right now. If you look at the bottom part of the screen is where most of the work that we'll be doing happens. And then down here if I click on this round buttons where most of my images renders are sitting. So for this case, we're going to click on that, and you can see some of the imagery that I've done, some of the really cool stuff that we've done in the past here. But what we're going to do is we're going to need to start with some kind of a image. And so for my purposes, what I'm going to do is I'm going to take an existing image of this guy right here, which is the Panda. I'm just going to do a simple Command Shift four on the Mac, and I'm going to click it right there. And now that's my image where I'm starting from. And then we're going to simply click on our Plus button, and we're going to upload that image that I just did. And it is right there. And so now this is our starting image. Now we have to come up with a prompt. The prompt is what do we want to accomplish in this video? Now, we've been given a gift, kind of in a way, in that we have this panda bear who is riding in a roller coaster, so it's pretty much a no brainer. We want him to be on a roller coaster. So I'm going to go into Claude and ask, and you can use any type of any type of LLM that you want to use. Let me just got to get a new window here, bear with me. And I think you're going to see that. We'll see a second see that. I'm going to use Claude, and we're just going to say, Hey, I want to create a cinematic prompt for a panda writing a roller coaster Kar. He should be full of of excitement and fear all rolled up into one. So it's as simple as that. It's just gonna come back with some kind of prom for us, and we're gonna take a look at it and see if this is something that we can use or not. And the idea is we want the subject. We want the I don't know why it's drawing something. I'm not asking it to draw something. Um, No, I want you you to Wait a minute. What is this? Is this a joke? I think it's a joke. It created Isn't that weird? It created a graphic for me. So this is a new thing, I guess? I didn't think Claude could generate images. Alright, so there's a thing right there. We're just going to go with this and I want to take a look at it. That was really odd. I've never seen that before. I tell you, the great thing about this stuff is you learn about something new every day. It seems like it changes all the time. It's really odd. Alright, so we're back here. Let's take a look at our prompt. A giant pan of sits strapped to the front car of roaring Roller coaster. Resting the peak mass drop at night. We're not doing it at night. It's daytime. In the afternoon. Um no neon lights. We're gonna get rid of that. Almost a sepside No, we don't want that either. We want straight on, straight on view. I don't know what the wide angle is gonna give me. So let's take we're going to go ahead with that for right now. Alright. So that's our thing. So now we're gonna create our first video, and that's going to be the put this for the class. So we're going to create the first video. So here, if you're in the free version, though, see, it's different now because there's no free version anymore. So we're going to start with 720 P. That's the default in this particular pro version. We're not doing image. We already have that image. So we have the video, 720, and we're going with 10 seconds. I just wanted to make sure the only thing I don't see here is horizontal or not. That's the only thing I don't see. Let's take a look and see what it gives us. Luckily, it gave us that. Sometimes if you give it a vertical, it's going to give you a vertical. If you give it horizontal, it's going to give you a horizontal. The only time it won't is creating if you're creating it for the first time without a graphic. So let's just keep that in mind. Now, this is the peak time from 6:00 A.M. To 12:00 P.M. Is peak, and it tends to run slower than other times of the day. Keep that in mind when you're creating. The other thing is there are some downsides to Grock. There is they allow NSFW images and prompts, which I don't really care for. That's NSFW means not safe for work. Sometimes there's nudity. Sometimes there is swearing. So if you're teaching somebody, especially kids, Grock is not a good choice. If you're an adult and don't mind that, then it's okay. The second thing I don't like about it is it has this annoying hum built into it. So when we get the generations, it's got this annoying hum, kind of like a music in the background that I just I just really can't stand. Why am I using Grock? Because it's so seamless. It's so easy. This is insane. I can't look. Keep going. That's not too bad. This is insane. I can't look. Keep going. Now, one thing I didn't One thing I didn't do is I didn't tell it to not speak, but, you know, that's a different that's your choice. That's director's choice. The clarity is phenomenal. If you look at that graphic that I gave, the hair is blowing in the wind. It came out really nice. He's got some weird liquid, I guess, coming from his mouth or his eyes. I don't know where that's coming from. Let's just take the scrubber. This is called the scrubber. Looks like it's coming from his eyes. Um Yeah. It's not bad, though, but I like that there's a crowd there, which is interesting. And it looks like he's really going up, doesn't it? And he's fearful and happy at the same time. That's exactly what we got. And it's the wide shot. The wide shot is also showing the boundaries. Now, I don't mind him talking. But here's what you can do. Now, we can take the scrubber here and we can extend it from this last frame right here, or we can decide whether we don't want those splashes of liquid coming from him. And we can go back. This is where it will change 25-30 seconds because maybe right there. Now we just say extend from frame. That frame or shot is being at the eight second mark, we're going to extend it right there, and that will be where our next video segment will come from. There's no transition. There's no hard cut coming at all. So we're going to go ahead and extend that now, and we just say extend. And we're going to do the exact same prompt, but we're going to make it a little bit better. And we're going to say, we're going to say, at this point, the panda the Panda realizes that he is going higher I'm going to say his climbing is let's say that his car is climbing higher and higher. And we're just going to keep I'm gonna say the giant panda sits strapped in the front caring cresting the peak, okay? So I'm gonna say crests, not cresting, but crests at the peak pausing for 2 seconds before he realizes I can't I can't type today. Realizes how high up he is. He frantically looks around for a way off and screams and doesn't utter another word. Alright, now we can get rid of this it's already set up, that this is what we're doing. Um, we don't do the beads of sweat. That's what's coming from It's coming from his brow. And we're not gonna do that either. The crowd below is just a blur. We're gonna say tight shot or dolly in dolly in tight shot to his face. Um, and that's going to be our next place, see what happens. I like this so far. I like the imagery. The imagery here is a lot better than my first attempt, so we're going to try this. Because we're not sure we're going to go for Let's keep on 10 seconds. We can try that. And we're going to keep that going and then see what happens. Now, it should start right at that moment that we just saw where he's gripping and his face there's no water in his face from his brow. And then we're just going to wait and see. We're going to keep doing this until we get to 30 seconds. Now, the problem is not the problem, but the challenges, it will stop at 30 seconds. So we have to kind of be calculating in our heads. 10 seconds, give us three clips. The first one is 8 seconds. So I might be able to sneak in a fourth clip because this one is ten, that'll be 18 and then two more six second ones, we get four clips. So let's see what happens. That's why I said 25 to 30 because we don't know based on what we're going to choose when we're doing it. As a director, that's your choice where you want the next scene to start. And that's the beauty of it. So everything looks good so far. I actually liked his voice. His voice was really kind of funny, kind of not what I expected. So that was kind of a bonus. And yeah, we're almost set here. We're almost ready to see this. Now, the wait time is about 30 seconds to a minute per render. Like I said, this is a busier time. I'm at 10:47 A.M. But once noon stops or starts, they will be a lot quicker. I'm very impressed with the resolution. We're only at 7:20 P, the resolution's really high. Let's see what we get. I like we're almost ready. Just have to wait here. Hopefully, it's gonna be any second. Now. There we go. Boo. This is insane. I can't look. Get going. Pop. Is insane. This can't Get going. Boom. Right there. This is all brand new. Now, this dolly in surprised me. A little bit dolly in right there. She is, boo. This is insane. I can't look. Get going. Is not bad. Oh. Ooh. Wow. That's rough. Okay, let's go back here, back here, back here. I think it's a pretty good shot right there, right? If I go to the full 10 seconds, 18. Let's just give it. Just give me an extra second to play with. So now, it didn't do what we wanted to, though. It didn't say, um I think what we have to do is I'm going to take this into Claude and I'm gonna tell Claude to give me see if I can get Claude back now. I don't know if it's still there. Hold on a second. Let's see. Um, just to show you what it kind of looks like. Sorry about that. Let's bring up Claude again. And we're gonna need to adjust this. We want the panda to be at the pinnacle. At the very top. Almost over exaggerated. Then pause 2 seconds. And he screams all the way down. So I'll just say, please rework this prompt. Let's see what it gets us. So you're constantly editing, constantly making those director choices. It's a great opportunity for you to really think about what it's like to be a director, making those decisions, and then you will be going on to the next point. We're probably going to we're 18 seconds now. It's probably going to take me to 28 seconds. I probably won't get that fourth one in here unless I go to 6 seconds only. All right. So let's see what Scott. This will be revised. It's a little bit longer. Let's see if this works for us. I'm gonna go ahead and see it and see if we can, put it in here now. So now we want to extend again, extend again. And I think we're good. It's gonna take us to 28 seconds. So unless the take it to 6 seconds, I think we should leave it at that and see what we get. Then we'll go on to our next video. Let's go ahead and see what happens. I'm hoping this works. Um, it I read this real quick before I see if there's anything that pops out at me that looks wrong. Alright. We'll just go with it. The fun about AI film right now is that we're almost like in the Wild Wild West. We're at the point right before it's going to get crazy. If you've looked at some of the other apps, CDance two point oh is another one that just came out, and everyone's getting really excited about Grock is trying to keep up with all of them. And the changes are almost daily. There's new things that are popping up left and right, even on Google VO, there's also new things I just noticed today that are fun to play with, and it keeps us teachers, and it keeps regular folk busy because there's just so much to learn. There's so much to take in, and the hardest part is the cost. So if we can get that cost down, right, we can do much better at maybe realizing our dreams. This will be the last video portion for this. This will be the last segment of this video, and then we're going to go into a second way to extend. It's really cool. And so we're going to talk about that just a few seconds here. As soon as we get this last part done, we can continue on into our next video. But you see how easy this was. And when we get their finished piece, in fact, the sample for this class is the panda, my first generation of the panda, and it's pretty much the same thing. It's just him on this car. Here we go. We're almost there. So a lot of it has to do with prompting. A lot of it has to do with the initial image. Then you have to make the decision where to jump in, where to stop, where to extend from. And that's the fun part. This is the whole thing is insane? I can't look. Keep going. 18 seconds. Right here. This is the newest one right here. Backgrounds changed. Whoo. So there he is. This is its I can't look. I'm gonna stop this. So killed it. So I just want you to see we're 18 seconds. I'll be the start of the third clip. 18 is coming up right No. You're still yelling. The only thing that's different is look at the background. He's up into the stratosphere, and then he's coming back down again. It's not bad. It's not bad. Looks really cool. We're going to have a lot of fun with this one, and that is the end of the first video. And I'm going to show you a different way to do it, and it's very similar, but it's going to give us even more character consistent. Now, this is great for character consistency. This one is bringing in more imagery. And so we're going to talk about that in our next video. 3. Step 2: Adding Music with Suno: Use Sno Sno is a very, very probably one of my favorite apps of all time. Why? Because it allows us to create music, on what we can call our own music, although it's, you know, technically not really our own music. But still, if you do have a paid subscription to Suno, you can go ahead and claim ownership in the sense that you can duplicate it and put them on different sites. I'm going to go to my library. This is on suno.com. And you can see here that there are these different icons Home Explore. Create is what you're going to want to do. And I strongly recommend I've tried both versions. I've tried instrumental and you can do that. Or you can do, if you have lyrics that you want to create, say, Inclod or Chachi P T and bring them over. That's what I did for my sample. In this case, I'm going to try an instrumental. So we're going to go to Create, and we are going to go to style, and I'm just going to say light, upbeat. Fun for children. But in what? Not even 30 seconds. Songs have been created, which is pretty cool. Let's take a listen. It's a little bit slower. The first one was perfect, and it's 30 seconds exactly, and this one's a little bit shorter. So the first one's perfect. Now, here's the way it is with Sno. I'm allotted, I think, like 3,800 tokens, and that's for the whole year. You get if I went ahead and published this song, tokens would be taken away from me, or if I created a hook, tokens would be taken away from me. But what I've noticed is if I just go to download and you can do that, my page is a little bit hidden here. And then we just say MP three audio. It's going to save it as an MP three audio. Very quick, very easy. There's not much to it. If you were to get lyrics, you'd place the lyrics right here in the lyrics box. That's when you can add your own lyrics. If you want to do your own voice, that's right here. And it's just a wonderful app. So now that we're done, we're going to go into Canva. Now, Canva is what I use to put the music down on top of the tracks for the video. And this, again, is only one technique. We're going to be doing a second possibly a third technique very soon, so let's take a look at that in just the next video. 4. Step 3: Ingredients: Imagine. This is our starting point. These are my images. We're going to now, I created a very simple prompt for you to use. This is the propriga use right here. This is created image person one, person two, person three in setting, and they are kind of action. They are running, dancing, whatever use that you want. And the scene includes key objects or ingredients. Now, the ingredients, remember, it used to be seven, then they went to three, and now it's five. So I don't know what's going on over there, but right now, you're limited to five ingredients. Each thing is an ingredient. So I kind of include background as an ingredient, people as an ingredient and some kind of object could be an ingredient. So in this case, we're just going to say, we're going to go and pull our people in. So here we have this woman. She is one ingredient. And then we have, let me just move me out of the way so we can see it better. We are going to have I wish I had a better image of her. But we have Isabella and we are also going to Oh, there's a new one I just created. It's a um It's a background. Let's see if I have it here. I thought I just created it. Maybe some of my downloads. There we go. It's a London City Street. It's a third image. And for an object, we really don't have anything. Let's pull something from our page here. Pull this piece of bread, this loaf of bread here as another object. So it'll be carrying around this loaf of bread. The whole idea is to have something that is unique, something that is different. And so now we have a four things here, right? So here, create an image of and we're going to put App. It doesn't like brackets and it doesn't like parentheses. So keep that in mind. So we have image one. Let's through those and at number at Image two atimage that's all we have. Okay. In the setting will be at Image three. They are they are running with a loaf of bread. And I'm just going to put that in their hands. I don't know if it's going to go into both hands. We'll see. The scene. Okay, that's good. They are running, period. And then here it says, The scene includes, let's do that. Instead. Let's cut. And the scene includes Oops. We're going to do at sign at Image four. Art style. I'm just going to go ahead and do style. I'd be realistic. Say photorealistic lighting, we'll say Golden hour. Mode is happy. And camera angle is we could do Bird's Eye. Try Bird's Eye you. There we go. Then we're gonna go right now, we could go to Image if you wanted to. We're basically taking image to image. You could do that if you wanted to. I think it's better just to go straight to video. And so we're gonna go to video. We're gonna do 720. Let's do 10 seconds and see what happens. Oh, my gosh. This is so funny. I don't know what's going on here. You know, I like that scene. Thought the loaf of bread looks so awkward. But look at the way it's coming right at us. And Isabella is having a little difficulty right there. She trips on herself. And it looks like she's right there again, and again there. Isn't that funny? It is hilarious. So, what if we were to just do this? Let's remove their running? And we're gonna remove the bread. Towards camera. And now we don't even have to run is good. It looks really low res. I wonder if I can go in. It's it Like, right here, it's not a great image right there. Look at that. Both are faces look really horrible. So I think what I would do is if I was using any of this, I would start it about right. Oh. It's kind of rough around the edges, don't you think? I think the first one looks better. Let's take a look. All right, well, there you have it. The loaf of bread. There is that hum. You hear that hum? Three in a way. Although I think the resolution was better. I wasn't as bad as it was before, but I would like to upscale that. I could probably upscale it in I'm gonna try and upscale it in Canva. They do now have a new feature there. It is better. It is better. Okay, so that's pretty much it as far as bringing ingredients. We see them out here. It's funny remember we talked about this before, but they did make her into a color version from the black and white. 5. Step 4: Put it all together in Canva: He is yelling throughout the whole part of this. If you decide to do that, you could. And the way we do it in Canva is we just click on the video on the actual video here, not in the tracks below, but here, we can go to Audio Tools and extract audio. And you can see he's yelling throughout the whole entire thing here. If you wanted to, you could minimize that. The track just above that one is the music. And so if you wanted to decrease the volume, you just click on volume, take it to about 40%, 30%, something like that. And we have 29. Let's see how that sounds. All right. So that's not bad. The music is okay, and it goes 30 seconds. And so what we do is we bring in the video. We extracted the audio, which is in the very bottom track here. This is the music. Remember that bubblegum bananas MP three. This is the audio track. It still says MP four, but it is the audio track. Here, you can fade as well. You do fade two or 3 seconds, you fade out and fade in. It's all up to you. You see how there's a triangle. It's a little tinted white there. It's almost transparent in a way. That will show up there as soon as we click off of that. So now we have both the audio and the music tracker faded. I also add, I like to put black behind instead of white. I don't know, it's just personal preference. And then you could include just by clicking here, brings up another five second clip. That's where you can put your credits. We don't need the second one, which is the first one. And then you can just say a film by Nick Nebelsky. Here we just say I usually do, as I say, created in rock music created in you. And if you so desire, Option G is the copyright symbol 26 Nick Labonski. That just lets people know that the music is paid for. If you want to do it simply, we just share. This is in Canva. We download, and that's it. One to two, and we Download. And then we save out our final video. And that's it, and you're done. The only thing I haven't included in this course is the tools that we need to minimize the noise level. So in this case, we didn't do that because the screams were a part of that. We could have got another app that does that. I think I'll put that in the text instead of here showing you that because all it is is you go to this website and then you just upload your file and you remove certain things. This is a what does it call this Panda. S. What is panda project, and they're done. So that's our final project. I will upload that to this course. You can see it there. And that's it. Thanks for watching. Hope you enjoyed it. Can't wait to see your projects. 6. Panda Project: M, M. This is insane. I can't look.
