an unpopular opinion, but if there is one

honest at times. I think too many

next lesson with your pen.
4. Why You Need a Strategy to Succeed: Have you ever wondered
how other creators and brand owner seamlessly
make the right moves and effortless decrease
social media for all phi as podcasts and blocks
that make people excited. Well, chances are that
they have in marketing, mentor and guiding them
every step of the way. And they have very
clear calling strategy so they move in the
right direction. Good news today you
have the same chance. But first we need to talk. How do you feel about selling your vision and
your skills align? When I asked you that question, did you bite your nails or or feel like hiding
underneath your bed? Oh, well, if you hesitate, you can be totally honest. You're not alone. Many creatives
avoid talking about themselves and they
avoid getting personal because they'd rather focus on the pri photos and
random recommendations. But don't get me wrong here. No, I won't encourage you to
publish your diary online. No, not at all. I just wanted to make you realize that this story
and the strategy we're going to write
today will be about your target followers as well as about sheath
and your purpose. You need to get
comfortable with it. No one sees the world
the way that you do, and that is your
ultimate superpower. Starting a business and building your online presence
is all and all consume challenge that
requires you to wear multiple hats and make multiple decisions
almost every day. Every day. For many people are calling
creation in common marketing. Take tons of time. That's why today we're going to focus on simplifying
the process, deciding what really matters, and mapping out
the key elements. Because listen, even if you are the most creative Anthony
crater and printer out there, you have a lot to offer
if you keep posting random content and you
don't have a strategy, your potential may
be like a Tesla. That's never leaves the garbage. Many clients I've worked
with told me that having a clear plan and conscious
strategy changed your lives. And yeah, it's true. Even when it comes to
my personal experience, I have to rely on my content
strategy because otherwise, my brain will be off trying to accomplish all
the conceptual things. When one heart tries
to remain heart attack free because of all the
caffeine I was drunk. And when I first started
my own online platforms, may block Instagram
podcasts and YouTube. I had big plans for
them, of course. And I felt confident. And I was so in love with
the whole social media word. But very quickly though the dangerous feelings
come, came rushing back. The feelings that
every content creator is familiar with, hesitation, overwhelmed peer, and of course, the worst urge to compare my content to other
creators out there, that was years ago,
but I still remember those feelings now as the
marketing specialists and mentor and get to
discuss and get a chance to discuss various
issues with content creators. And you know, what makes
us all quite similar. Yeah, the feelings I
felt at the beginning, we all have said
it in our heads. At least once. I
feel overwhelmed, I feel my clean is a
big disappointments. I have reached a point where I figure out I should just give up on it because
I have no chance. And even today I'm listening to the stories all
about the blood, sweat and tears and all-nighters
that people put into their content creation
day in and day out. And it's no wonder
they are feeling overworked, insecure
and discouraged. And trust me, I've
been there myself. I've been discouraged, creator, inspiring business owner that almost lost all her
home overnight. But now I'm pretty thankful. I think I can say
because despite all the time because
I had to eat as my comfort food and
all disturbance, laughing while she was my tears. I know that there
are a few reasons why content isn't
performing well, even if the creator has put
all his or her heart into it. And I'm going to share
them all with you today. But of course, every
business is very different. But I'm witnessing, we
all get carried away with our own ideas
and creating without, without a concrete proven
plan and strategy. And to really win
in colon marketing, you need a well thought
out strategy that requires proper target
audience research, planning, and understanding
your vision and your purpose. After all of the content
you create isn't compelling than no one from
your target audience is going to interact with it. And that's what
we need to avoid.
5. What Content Marketing Really Is?: Before I delve into the wonders of having a working
content strategy, I first need to answer
the question of what Collins marketing
actually is. According to the
marketing dictionary, content marketing is
marketing that involves the creation and sharing of online creations and
materials such as videos, blogs, and social
media posts that does not explicitly
promote a brand, but is intended to stimulate interests in its
products or services. Content marketing is often
underestimated because some people think it is just
another form of marketing. It's not, first of all, it's much more effective and
it isn't about promoting or marketing your products or
services, is not personal. Less pushy were natural. I think it differs from
other marketing types so much that we can
eventually remove the word marketing and think of it as content creation focused on brand awareness and building connections and
ignite interests. It's all about providing
value through your followers. Are readers become loyal
members of your tribe and are excited to buy something
from you in the future. You don't need to make
a heart cell at all. Is it total opposite of old-fashioned
marketing approaches? First off, content
can be actually almost anything from an
inspirational Tumblr post, a YouTube tutorial, Instagram, real Twitter debate, podcast
episode or a blog post. I, personally, I'm into
the power of blogs, Instagram and
YouTube, but that's a long story for
another chapter. This way you are serving your potential followers even before they buy
anything from you. And eventually, eventually you will not only complete
the conversion, but you will have
an engaged fans. And how cool is that? It's like a double win. Let's discuss three
main purposes of common marketing besides
the ones you already know. Colin marketing class. You grow up a community
of like-minded people. Connecting with
like-minded community is essential for
your online growth. You want to win
over the hearts of your potential followers
and make them fall in love with what you
have to offer, right? You don't want to beg
anyone to follow you are first antibody to buy
something you're offering. You want them to see
your work right away. Making sincere connections
with your target audience. The best possible
way to build trust and make people interested
in your brand's. Content creation is a
two-way street fostering relationships with
your followers and readers and similar
content creators as well. It just helps you have a
stable personal brands. If you are a strategy
and consistent with posting high-quality
original content, it will organically attract your dream followers and future
customers along the way. Second purpose, it
helps you position yourself as an expert to put it in an actual content
creation establishes your authenticity and
knowledge of your niche. When your content is
fundamental and you emotionally connect to your people are
watching or reading and stuff, you'd become unstoppable. Loyal followers don't just buy
your products or services. They buy your
expertise, your story, what you stand for
and who you really are when you understand how to share your knowledge and expertise and your research, and understand the needs of your target audience and the
problems they're facing. And we're going to
discuss this step in one of the next lessons. You've got a very
solid foundation for your future CS final, what is the most
challenging part of the making them work? First purpose, content
platforms such as Instagram, YouTube,
Twitter, blocks. Although you to foster connections with your
current audience, I strongly believe
common platforms are the best chance you
can have to connect with your current audience and people are already interested
in what you have to say an offer posting new client is certainly
a way to keep your current audience
engage with VM because you want people to
fall in love with your volume. So you need to
share your insights and remind them why
they should still care about you and your personal brands and those platforms.
Let you do this. Let's look at this from
a practical perspective. When you want to get to know someone beyond the
surface level, you followed your
Instagram, blog, Twitter, or any other social
media accounts. That's pretty
straightforward, right? As you can see,
content creation is announcer too many questions and a list of its
advantages goes on. The power of content. Creation is pure magic. But the tricky thing is, we're not the only people
who have realize it. You're not the only one
who's creating content. Actually, there's the
comments lot out there. There was definitely time when cognitive marketing
wasn't popular. A time when there was simply well-known organic
face cream brand on the shelf and only one
aspiring entrepreneur in town. Okay, I can remember
these times as well. Anyway, fast-forward to today where there are
literally endless, endless blocks to follow millions of Instagram
influencers. So now, stemming out with
what makes you unique is everything your
colonies embedder more hard fueled narrative. There are so many
aspiring creatives trying to break into the
world of content marketing. And you need to set
up yourself for success and have a clear
content strategy as well. If you ignore this step, you're already
putting yourself at a disadvantage in extremely
competitive field. How do I notice? Thanks to my job, I get the chance to talk
with many craters. And as you can easily guess, I'm noticing some tendencies
and similarities. The ones with whatever happens, happens, attitude
grow less quickly. And speaking of speech, they'll compare yourself with the biggest content creators. Out there is process takes time. But hey, good news. Some results will be
visible immediately. The problem is most new craters come into the content
creation world with some of the top influencers on the Internet as
their inspiration. Mackinnon, Sara Blakely, okay, that was definitely
my inspiration. And still is, this creates the expectation that
your comments should be comparable to their
top content right from the get-go reality check, you're likely not going
to launch the next block or Instagram profile with millions of followers overnight. Unless you're just getting
off a season of the trend, the trend in Netflix movie, you already have
celebrity status. Daddy, Brad Pitt,
there is a risk, nobody knows and
nobody really cares about your college
first, tough love. But it's true. It's pure psychology. We tend to get more judgmental of ourselves when
we're obsessing over what other people are doing and what they
are achieving, what Kayla, I seem as creative on Instagram
stories as her. Why do they post so
consistently when I can't even commit to
posting two times a week, why can I attract new
creative people like Peter does use other creators
for higher motivation, but makes sure you're
using them to inspire and motivate you and not for
unhealthy come present. The key takeaway is, it's cool to be kind and
for, especially to yourself. As much as YouTube, instagram, Spotify and blocks are invaluable results for creating connections and
gaining inspiration. Sometimes it can
lead to feeling low. Because of this comparison, we are all at different stages of our
economy inflation journey. Are you ready to finally
dive into the main area of our today's interests,
your content strategy. If the answer is yes, then you are moving in
the right direction.
6. What Your Content Strategy Should Cover: Let's get into the nitty-gritty before F actively developing your own content strategy
with we must first truly understand the meaning
of a content strategy. I observed as people often
think of a content strategy as our economy colander
and general direction. But it is so much
more than that. Content strategy establishes an emotional connection
with your audience. It's not just what's your
target audience sees and reads. It's what they should feel when they consume your comments. Although we can't
necessarily control our followers and
potential followers. Xx perception of our content
and our online presence. We can certainly
influence it with a possible strategy and the
conscious decision-making. This is not a strategy. When it comes to
content strategy. It's not enough to
have a few bullets down on papers or
somewhere else and denotes slapping
together a couple of ideas of what you'd like to post on Instagram or what's the next free blog
posts will be about? It's not the content
strategy either. Have you ever heard the phrase, being busy doesn't mean
you're being productive. That's what the strategy is for. We want to avoid taking time-consuming steps that aren't really aligned with your goals. I believe it all starts with
asking the right questions. For all the years. I've discovered questions are very powerful tools in the arsenal of
marketing strategist is our today's challenge
to collect and connect the dots about you
and your personal brand. So be prepared for that. We need to be
obsessively curious. We need to observe, investigate, and ask the right
questions to receive the answers that will help us see what you
need to do online, a proper content
strategy covers, watch your comments
stands for what promises your content and make studios could follow
and believe in you. What story, personality
and believes your colon conveys for its
creation and communication. What the experience
would you like people to have when they encounter your comments and
your online without firms and all your social media. And you know, you need
to focus on the things that really matter for
your online presence. You need to stop trying
to do everything. You do these things that
actually work for you, your personal brand
and your audience. Several years ago when I
was just starting out, I was trying to implement
so many strategies at once. I actually wasn't doing
any of them well, I will just have
assigning everything. And once I realized this, I sit down and look at
the things that we're actually benefiting
my online presence. So I probably convince you that a strategy first
approach to building your online presence and your
content is the way to go. But where do you start
with your strategy? There are six components of a fully developed
content strategy. I'm really believed that
you need all of them, like all the puzzles to
work together in order to connect adults with the rest of your online presence
and your marketing. Put simply think of content marketing as your vision and mission guidelines and execution plan all rolled
into 16 components. We will need definition
of your why, your purpose and your
contents promises, market, competition, market
and competitors research. So your decisions are
based on actual research. What's working in your niche, instead of just
guessing what people want and need your target
audience defining, identify if we
want to serve with your comments here you're
attracting right people. Analysis of your target
audience's pain points so you know what problems they're
facing and what you can solve. Analysis of your strengths, your brand and condensed
positioning plus differentation. This is defining why
you do what you do differently than someone who
does the same thing you do. So you know how to stand out
and content pillars choices. I know it can feel a
little bit overwhelming to have to nail down all of these things for your
content strategy. But once you do, you will have so much power by your sides and now
to the good part. So together we will
discuss and jump into the essential steps and
some extra tips and tricks for building impactful, sustainable Client
Strategy at the beginning, remove the pressure
of knowing it all. You'll have to break
all of Dylan's down into points first.
7. The Role of Authenticity and Why It Matters: And the words of Simon Sinek, people don't buy what you do. They buy why you do it. That's why we'll focus on
you, your personal trace, your strengths, your
insights, and your expertise. Platforms are a highly
saturated air space. We all know that. We all know the Instagram
where it is saturated. There's also
millions of blogs on lifestyle Emiliano of
podcast, millions of uterus. Most people who will
respond to this by saying, But hey, there's only
one of you there, right? Surely you've heard it before. What I actually meant here
is you need to think about what specifically it is about
you that gives you an edge, is your perspective, unique? Focus on what really
makes you, you, and you might just
find it changing your content creation process. Now it's more important
than ever that you're putting out content that stands out about the crowds. And no, that doesn't just mean putting out a valuable
piece of continental. Does the advisory constantly
told provided value, but with the state
of content creation, it goes beyond just
providing volume. It also includes ensuring that both you and your
contents are unique. Sometimes we can feel
pressure to bend our own insights or voice to
reflect the current trends. And while this may seem
effective on the surface, it can lead to watering
down of urine. Economists think true to your authentic faults and vision creates an honest
Collins journey. That's your target audience
will want to share and enjoy. Well when it comes to your
Instagram and YouTube and plot firm other platforms, the main thing is
pretty obvious, but content under that
doesn't look like everyone else's trends may
help you become viral. But you want to create
your own voice and ensure you're adding in your
own ideas and false, rather than just
sharing and recreating the same things
everyone else is doing. What makes you, you dare
to be weird at times. These little cute and weird
things that makes it make you matter more than ever in the eyes of a person
wants to follow, yep. People want to suffer creatures that align with your energy. And here from creators
they trust and believe in sharing your little
weird things with your audience and acting
in alignment with those volumes will
help you create an emotional
connection with them, which caused both
a loyal community of like-minded people. This you know that you already have a personal and branch. Utah. That's the way you
do everything. The way you talk,
dress, walk, right? Dream, and go about
daily stuff, urine, unique in older people you are meeting Kevin
opinion about you. You define what you want to
be known for and lacked for, and how you want others
to perceive you. The first step to build
a personal brand around yourself is so now and
only your personal story. And those little
weird skewed things, people connect
with authenticity. They want to relate. Which is why from
the very beginning, it is important to try your
best to get to know yourself. What is it about you that make, would make someone that wants to listen to your radio false, or watch your videos over the millions of
others that exist, you need to make it
your biggest strength. But how can you discover what
really makes you unique? My best idea is to ask your friends and
members of your family. They know you best. They may notice the things
you don't even know you do. And it's not always made
me extremely precious. For example, I've
been watching Kelly stems videos and Kelly has talked about how she started logging as license
lifestyle creator, and has admitted that she
feels like her frankness or even brutal honesty
you times makes her insights much more
relatable for money, I'm all for adding personally
and your comments. For me, colon can
be super valuable, but if it feels like
it's written by robots, chances are I won't be
returning to this profile. Your goal is now to be the cranial people who
call my favorite creator. That's why they will come back. That's why they will
recommend your comments. Being yourself and being extremely authentic
is a skill that gets better with practice and
time like everything. When it comes to me at first, I was really afraid to show the real side of
myself and talking about both the good
and bad moments in my life and my career. But very soon I understood that This will make me
stand out from the crowd, shining a light on my story. And is it really a chance? Because look, being yourself, you will have a
unique magic about you that people who
can't help being drawn to the difference
between now and all my past experiences is
that now people connect with me and they feel happier
to follow me and follow my journey because
we're creating a lasting relationship
and they know who I am and what they
may expect from me. And you can achieve
the same results. Now, same for practice. It's time to think about all the little things
that make you, you own your magic. Write down all the words
that describe you. Don't hold back and
write every word and every little thing
that you can think of and just write them down. Cranial list of wars and
things that make you, you and all those things
that resonated with you. Then ask a couple of friends
or members of your family, how would you, how would
they describe you? What's the most characteristic
thing about GM? Don't be mad. If you don't like
something they say, You may easily turned into a huge advantage and the
powerful straps, trust me.
8. Why Your Content Needs Storytelling: Power of storytelling. Don't ignore it, as we have already discussed in
the previous lesson, your potential followers aren't going to be connecting
with your niche. They need something
more to connect with. And as something is your voice, you have a story and
your story matters, and people aren't
going to care if you share it in an engaging way. If you're just sharing content
with no personality, sure, you might get some random views, but you're less likely to keep
high engagement and keep, keep people coming
back for more. But if you're able to share your personal experience
and your story, also providing value
for your followers. You've hit a condensed goldmine. Basically, if you're not
sharing your story and your personal expertise
in your contents, you're really just
creating content that anyone else
could have written. So what's your story? What brought you
to this time and space to make you want
to create contents? Why do you want to solve
problems for your audience? When potential followers
look to separate year, they want to know about she, what expertise you bring to the table that is
what is valuable. That is what makes you
stand out from one carrier to the other creator
is your heart. It's all about your
story and your message. Everything you put out
into the world should have the same messaging and
include your storytelling. I'm talking about
your Instagram, blog, twitter,
YouTube, or Spotify. It has to relate to your story. Your messaging has to embrace the same feelings so that no matter where people find you, they recognize your
voice and your story. Think about it this way. Sometimes you will
read a random book and end up relating to
the main character. You may love with
them or even cry at their choices and
their adventures and evil may end up saying, Oh boy, I can relate. I would list same. I struggled with
the same things. I loved their final choice. It That's totally
me, no matter if it's a book or a TV series, or even keep up with the
Kardashians or Big Bang Theory. I love Big Bang
Theory by the way, you create this
connection because of the story you're
being told, right? The same can happen with your content and your
social media platforms. When you tell a unique story, you create a
connection that allows potential followers to
relate to him, to feel seen. When they feel seen discrete. This creates a common
ground for trust. And when people trust you, that's the ultimate goal, more precious than gold, for example, in my own brand and all my colleagues platforms, I'm very vocal about my
mission and my goals. I've had people talk
to me and post about your career dreams
because they felt inspired by my comments. This is the power
behind storytelling. They relate to something I am, something I do or
something I talk about. This pops into your
head at the time. If you need further convincing, take Peter McKinnon,
for example, he loves coffee, right? It may seem like a
background factor, but this tiny tidbit of
information makes people relate to him as a
human, not a celebrity. He's like you and me. He's constantly tact and pictures of freshly
brewed coffee, which is awesome
because, you know, people are connecting
with him and his message. So whatever yours is included in your Conan and don't be
afraid to say it loud. And now it's same for
practice and exercise. What posting your first
post on line and this line, even if it was years ago, what did you feel?
How was it going? What the first step, look-alike, be a storyteller in this stage, go wild and stretch those imagination
muscles to the maximum. Write down the
story that comes to your mind no matter how
funny it may seem at first, when you both columns,
including storytelling, you need to show the ups
and downs of your journey. Don't forget about it.
9. How to Know if Your Content Is Actually Valuable: Well, to make sure
you're calling matters for you and your audience. First, you need to ask, what do you want
people to associate your personal brand and
your colon and the width? What do you want to be
recommended for doing or saying? You have to think backwards
when it comes to this, decided what she wanted
to be known for, and then do everything in
your power to make sure you're on the right
path to be known for. I think, for me, I want to be known for helping aspiring
creatures believing their potential to build successful businesses
based on their passion. And so I'm really focusing
on providing content that makes that mission clear to my followers, on my readers. If you don't yet have this thing that you're working towards with your comments. I want you to dig deeper and think about your Instagram
profile, YouTube, blog, or any different content
platform in three years, what do you want it
to be doing for you? They want your Instagram
community that provides you with the ability to use
your influence to help share your industry insights. They want a YouTube
channel that acts as a launching pad to produce
your longer films. You want an Instagram
profile that allows you to travel
the world and get paid to do so and share your trouble of guys
with travel lovers. Same for practice and exercise. How do you want to
make people feel? And how do you want, do you feel about your comments? What do you want
to be known for? Write it down.
10. Content Mission. Do You Know Your WHY? : This actually the most
important step we need to go further into
the previous chapter. We started to
discuss what you're actually trying to accomplish
with your comments. And then we're going further. What do you want
to be known firm? This of course can
change with time, so don't feel March Today idea. But even if you're still in the development phase of
your content concepts, you need a solid
why standing behind it and mission based
on the why jazz basically means defining
your deepest reason and for sharing content and how it
will benefit other people. Your y is your starting point, your purpose and
the foundation and the fundamentals of
your content strategy, your y needs to answer
a few questions. Why do you do what you do? Why do we want to exist
in an online space? How the word or
other people will be impacted because
your content exist, your why, articulate how
you are working with your content towards something
more than making a profit. You may also want to include
your vision and mission statements and your content
strategy category as well. And displays such an
important role in who you are as a content
creator and influences almost everything in your
content creation process from the actions you take to how your target audiences
and connects with you. How to find your wide
when you don't have any clear idea yet,
do you feel it? Deep urge to use the only world a better
place than into outer walls. If you feel it, you know, it's that many people don't. Actually, I think we all
feel it to a certain extent, but some of us may have
troubles listening to our inner voice and realising it is not that easy at times. What is your purpose? Does your machine
make a difference? Does it matter? Do you really need to
answer these questions? Yes. Partly because your mission is to promote your meshing
with your comments, articulate what's your
content mission is all about what it is that you do and
why you want to achieve it. We enjoy creating courses and
products and wanted to make other people fall in love with the process and cranium to, are you obsessed
with teaching as writing about daily struggles, make your heart happy? Are you constantly dreaming
about short movies? Do you obsess over branding
and graphic design? What is it about creating
that makes you happy? Don t think about where
the money is easier to. Just think about what
gives you that little spark, that honest excitements. Spark might be little, but it's what you will push your content creation forward, especially when the days
with less monovision happen. And they happen when
it comes to me, I want it to be a curse author and marketing manager one day. More than anything, I wanted to help people succeed at
what they love doing. I want it to be the reason
someone didn't give up. I want it to be the
person who gets to here because of you. It was easier to make it all come through and
they finally made it. This has been my dream for since I as long as I can remember. And rather than sitting
around waiting and the complaint that nothing
is moving forward, I realized sharing
my insights on Skillshare is totally
available to him. An example, I had a
reason for putting myself out there
and doing it now. And even if it's not as
easy and trouble-free, I thought it would be. And remember my
why and honestly, it keeps me going. So it's time for practice
and exercise for you. Do you remember your why? What is it? What do you want from
creating comments? You get clear about that and you will likely have a
much easier time with putting yourself
out there on a consistent basis
if you get stuck, don't worry, write
what you know. Now your first thoughts, you can always go back to it and edit it to other
eloquence a bit later.
11. Defining Your Target Audience: Morning, your target
audience is one of my favorite topics
of discussion. Let's go to the marketing
basis for a second. The most important
part of any brand, personal and brand as well, is having someone to serve and offer your knowledge
or your services do, which is why it's crucial to find your perfect
target audience. You need to know who
you are talking to. It's a part of a
strong strategy. Actually know is the lifeblood of your content
creation process. Even if you have
the most awesome, blow your mind calm and within most interesting practical tips, if you're not reaching
the right people, you will hear is radio
silence or main complaints. Oh, I find it boring. Target audience
defining my sound a little technical if you're
new to marketing terms, but basically it's
just the art of analyzing career
perfect follower, perfect reader is and who
you want to attract with your beautiful photos and videos or whatever
you're creating. The mistake of wanting
to appeal to everyone. Yeah, many business owners and creatures make the mistake of wanting to appeal to everybody. Well, that's terrible idea. You need your tribe, band of loyal followers, community subscribers,
Internet, best friends. Can't be best friends
with everyone, right? Could you imagine
being friends with millions of totally
different people, different age, different
passions, different professions. Of course it's possible, but when you organize
a group meeting, some of them will
be extremely bored when you talk about your
biggest passions and dreams. Simply because they are keen on something totally different, it's much more beneficial to create a target audience that you know deeply and can serve
intentionally in all day. Won't get bored so
easily because you have a lot in common when you
take the time to identify, identify, and get to know your target audience
on a deeper level, I can understand what
content they need from you. You can be more
inviting to them, how to speak to
them more directly, and how we can serve
them better so that they become your
loyal followers is a research from the
first step will be the guiding light to help
you create better kinds, lets you pinpoint who you
are trying to attract. You can then establish
how you will do it. Actually, it will act as a roadmap for all
the future steps. I know you may want
to say, Hey, Casa, it's fetus limiting to have
a specific target audience. I don't want to add myself and I see your perspective
and I hear you. But believe me, when
I say it is one of the best things you can
do for your personal brands. If you don't know who
your content is for, you are speaking with it, chances are your audience
won't understand either. The better you can understand
your ideal followers, the easier and less
challenging it will be to build an emotional
connection with them. Having your clearly
specified target audience allows you to get to
know your follower, latch more deeply,
speak to them directly, and serve them with purpose, you will start to uncover
your community's desires, needs, values, beliefs, limiting
beliefs, their struggles. And you will be able to identify how and why they connect
with your continent. Instead of trying
to please everyone, think about who we
are content with, most appeal to us. It's time to get specific, come up with a voucher
for who that person is, decided what she likes,
where she lives. Altered dreams are, the
more you can define, the more likely it is that you will create content
that will serve her. And at the same time
serve people like her. Started by describing who your ideal followers are to
the finance level of detail. So we are able to
imagine them as real living and breathing
people around this perspective, you'll be able to plan how to, how you intend to
engage with them based on which plot firm they spend the most of
their free time on and the volume you
can bring to them. And I know it from the marketing mentorship
sessions around. One of the biggest mistakes new content creation people are making is that they try
to be everything to everyone. And it brings so much
trouble when, uh, you know, we are condensers, it gets much easier. Knowing exactly who you're
speaking to will help you understand what you need to
communicate about yourself, your skills, and
know how to make your followers happy and how
to make them stay with you. So they converge into paying
customers in the future. Benefits of having your
target audience define, motivates you and them
to work together toward a common purpose will go as well as the resonating
with the heart, minds, and wallets
of your followers, wanting to engage with a creator that
shares their bodies. Key takeaway, know that
you can't make everyone happy and it will hurt you and your comment
in the long run. And if they infer exercise, if you were at dinner
telling your friends what your content is about and
why should they follow you? What would you say
that as a warm-up, we'll get to the
detailed process of defining your target
audience in the next step. So see you in the next one.
12. Identifying The Perfect Follower Persona: Now it's time for creating
your perfect follower person. What are you going
to do here next? Basically, imagine
your ideal follower and give them a face
and background, passion, dreams,
likes and dislikes and get to know them intimately. As you already know,
creating successful colon gets much easier when
we're creating for, when you picture your
ideal follower or reader profile as an
actual breathing person. It makes the process
so much easier. Of course, all of your followers don't need to fit this
profile in 100 per cent. But when it comes to my
experience, it can actually be, be a bit shocking if founded
all my followers so far have fit like 60 to 80 per cent
of my description saying, let's say it's a really good
fit if you need inspiration, here's the part of my
own ideal flow profile. So her name is Lina. She has 25 years old, works and the job that
is pretty irregular but does not fulfill
her passion for life. So it is just a practical
decision based on the need of stable income to
dreams about growing parasite hassle when
she's not working, she's reading or looking
for inspiration, how to become the
woman of her dreams. She loves Instagram and other
social media platforms. And she notices all the huge, all the potential, the life
on your new them, your shirt. Now let's put this exercise
into action for you. You need to put a
name and almost effaced your ideal
follower every part, a pretty long list of
questions and categories that may help you get
through the process. So let's go, Let's grab
a pen and a workbook on. Let's get it done.
13. The Importance of Finding Pain Points: Now that you've defined
your target audience, we need to dig even
deeper and then recognize their
specific problems. This is a crucial step
to create content that is a big hit
with your community because you will be
able to share solutions to problems and dilemmas
your tripe is having. Because yes, personally, I don't really like the
word pain points. The worst problems
or ulama sound much better and more human. You want to serve your followers and you want your followers
to skewer calling platforms or social
media or somewhere they go for insights
that benefits them. Not only will this
mean they trust you and then volume
as you're sharing, but it will also
multiply your chances for your content being
shared with others. Ultimately, we are people creating for people
who are right, we need other people to grow. When you write an Instagram
posts during fueling a YouTube video or recording your podcast before
you even start, always be very honest
with yourself and ask, does this piece of content
add value to somebody's life? And how to answer
to this question. My solution is things like
your potential follower. How I have five basic ways to figure out if what I want to create will add value
to someone's life. First, think about things that you've searched for in the past, in times of doubt when
you needed guidance, whether it'd be on Instagram, Google, YouTube,
or anywhere else. And then you can create
common that solves that problem or are
some aspects of it. Your current posts go on some of your favorite
platforms or websites and see what kind
of posts they are creating. Personally, I'm a big fan of gender culture block
and the financial diet. And if they are covering
certain topics, I know there is a
large audience for it. You can also use a professional
to like BuzzSumo to check what articles on a specific site have been shared the most. This is often a
good indicator of what topics are the most
useful and which ones people appreciate the mouth
so you can write about them to think about what performs well on YouTube and do your own YouTube
research to help you see what other people
in your niche or creating about the idea. Read comments on popular
profiles and platforms in your niche to see what
questions people are asking. For example, if
you're a food crater, go onto a popular
YouTube channel about food and started reading
through the comments. You will find so many
interesting questions if you know the topic as well, and you think you could craft a high-value content around it. Don't hesitate to use it. Answering a question or providing a solution to a
problem is a precious contents. You can also use
Google Keyword Planner to see what people are
searching for on Google. When you think of lung Blakely, what problems that you solve? What is she the go-to hop for? A column? Introverted conscious and purpose-driven
lifestyle comes to my mind if I want
to start exploring wise thoughts about
how to be happier, how to be calmer, how to enjoy your
introverted nature, how to be a better person, more satisfied with
everyday life. Their contents can
be really helpful. When it comes to me, I started creating
courses because one primary pinpoint
buy followers have is they want well
prospering side hustles. They can eventually turn into
full-time jobs they enjoy, but they don't know how to start and how to move it forward. So what go to hop Ru? A lot of people can have
problems you can solve. So what are these problems
is same for practice. Think about these problems. What your audience
is struggling with, what keeps them up at night? What are their
problems, challenges? Or did they lie in
bed at night worrying about right down this list? And which pro topics can you
cover well and help with? Is it teaching others
about healthier diet? How to start your side hustle, how to take better care of your path there into
journaling habits, try to be specific. Put the emphasis on how you
can help your audience.
14. How to Analyze Your Competitors' Content: Competition is
basically a validation. You've found a profitable niche. That's always a good sign. Now it's time to do some
research and check what's working and what's not
for your competitors. And actually, I don't quite like the word competitors
because there is no arrays were just talking about
other creators creating content on the same topics
you're interested in. And my advice, do an analysis of their social media
profiles, blogs, podcasts. That will also help you
to figure out where your chances lie to stand
out in this crowds. What can set you
apart from them? The research doesn't have
to be rocket science. You just need to answer
a few questions. What column platforms
do they use? What types of content
do they sure, they get good and engagement. Which posts get the
highest engagement? What products and services do they offer to serve
your audience? Take a moment to think about all the similar craters
you'll love and appreciate and think about what is the one thing
they have in common? If you feel
overwhelmed, don't be. Think of this as your sure-fire way to find
out new ideas that can inspire you and which
can easily turn out to be a magnet for your
target followers as well. Not that you should copy
exactly what they're doing, but these competitors
research to help you better understand
how to approach your topics, your niche, and similar
target audience. You can also use tools
like SEMrush to find our top-performing common and create similar kind in the future. What's also crucial, observed, what does not work for them? Observe the tendencies and no downward works well for them. And as I said
before, it doesn't, that's really important in tune. I personally love learning
from different layers. There are always so many
similarities between different people talking
about the same topics. They can give you
different perspectives, different in slides
and finding out what works for them
and what doesn't. I can give you so many
precious hints and save you a lot of times it's
time for your practice. So influence is used
and who inspires you? I am Daniel, successful creators discussing the same topics
you'd love to talk about. Write down their names. Are usernames
actually researched their profiles and start the list of ideas
and inspiration from their continent and keep
adding to it all the time, I think to-do list
every time you see something that sparks an
idea for your comments, means that you won't forget this amazing nuggets
of inspiring concepts. Where else should you look for fresh inspiration
and idea guidance? My recommendation is to
be constantly listening, reading, discussing with
your friends and family, learning, and just soaking
up inspiration and other great minds wisdom in any way that you can be
on a constant hands. Reading other blocks
and listening to podcasts can feel
your motivation and make you feel that you're
not alone on this journey. Be curious and hungry and look for inspiration everywhere, even in everyday Smalltalk
in the grocery store. Okay, let's do some exercise. What is your favorite websites? Write down your favorite blogs, podcasts, books and authors. Let's create some
inspiration library.
15. Maximize Engagement: Choosing Content Pillars: Or sole focus as an
inspiring colon Krieger and needs to be on your
continent and promoting it. You need to experiment with
it from forming new opinions, find your voice, listen
to your audience's needs. Discover what your followers actually want to hear from you. Bonds. Right here again, talking about everything isn't
actually the best idea. For example, don't write a post or recall your
podcast about the best food photography equipment one day and then the next day, right, about JavaScript tips for advanced IT lovers
is going to be really challenging to increase your reach and your engagement. If none of your
content appears to the same follower,
the same person, there is a risk they will
come and go without checking out any of your other
posts or episodes. That's why we need to focus on defining your main
content pillars. What content pillars, really
our content pillars are categories of ideas and topics you'll focus
on in your comments. It's dots in each indicator
of the kind of content your followers will
find when they land on your social media
or block your podcast, you might have many, many interests and love to talk about various topics and solve
different problems. But to grow faster, you need to focus on a few
leading coin pillars spots. How to clarify your
content pillars. Should you choose only
one colon pillar? I won't lie. It's not
so simple as it sounds. I struggled so hard with
defining my content pillars to the point where it sends
me into creators paralysis. I would spend so much
time trying to define if I should focus on
lifestyle content sharing my daily life, daily struggles of an
inspiring creator, along with non-business radio, things like outfit choices, skincare, and
psychological insights. Or maybe rather talk only about the nitty-gritty keeps building your business from scratch. Facebook ads, ways to scale your side hustle and keep all the more private
stuff to myself. If you're dealing with
a similar dilemma, I have the solution for you. This approach has
really helped me to grow my contour plots prints. I decided to focus on four
different types of comments. First, practical
tutorials and knowledge about skyrocketing
your side hustle and growing your tripe. The seconds, daily insights from my day-to-day work and all the sparks of inspiration
I'm caching along the way. Free technical stuff about creating your first
digital products. And as the majority
of my audience, I a Woman March casual, everyday choices of outfits. Simplify and defining the
strategy now allows me to be much more consistent
with creating my content. It makes me enjoy the process. I feel more positive and definitely less
prone to overwhelm. I no longer have
the fear of wasting my time creating
content does not only about creating
your business, not even close because I know I'm still on
the right track and I create content
in line with mine for content pillars. So I'd say, don't limit yourself to only one very specific topic, blog about a couple
of similar topics that may be interesting
for the same person. Then you can observe what posts performed best and
make them more often. You're creating, writing
for your audience. After all, one of the
biggest struggles I've had, I've had with my icon. And it was trying to
decide what kind of comments I should produce. Light and finding
business insights to sound like entertainments. Lots of different
ideas to inspire people, very specific knowledge, to educate people do
hardest like him, screenshots of my results to promote my services
and products. What I didn't know back then is that I need to alter
the self.contents is not the mother of
choice and most likely you also need to create
offer content types. So we're saying for exercise, what I want you to do here
is take out our workbook and start analyzing your
content pillars first. Finds your enjoyable
clients pillars, the ones you love talking
at reading about.
