1. ChatGPT + PowerPoint Introduction: Course Overview & Expectations: Hi there. Welcome
to this course. My name is Chandi Banaji, and I'll show you
how can you use hATZPT to create PowerPoint
presentations in this course. From the time Chat JBT
came into the market, it brought multiple
different capabilities, and we can use those capabilities to reduce
some of our workload. In this course, I'll show
you multiple different ways. How can you use those
capabilities to create Pow Point presentations
with help of hat JBT. My name is Shan and I'm an IT
professional with 23 years of experience
currently working in MMC company in a
managerial role. As a manager in IT industry, I need to create multiple
presentations on regular basis. I'm using some of these methods to reduce some of my workload, and I'm leveraging chat GPT
to save some more time. Let me show you some of the
methods in this course, using which you will
be able to leverage chat GPT to create some of the pop and
presentations which can help you to save
huge amount of time. So without any further delay,
let's get into the course.
2. Project Overview: Defining Your AI-Powered Presentation Goals: Okay, let's talk
about the project of this course before
I start showing you all the methods
using which you can generate Pop and
presentations using Cha JPT. I'll show you multiple
different methods using which you will be able to
generate Pop and presentations. Now, as part of
the class project, you need to create Pop and presentations using
those methods. Every method I'll show you, you need to create
one presentation based on your choice of topic. You can find any
of the topic based on your requirement and
your interest area, and you can utilize that method to generate
your presentation. So let me start showing you
all those methods one by one, and then you can also start generating your presentations
using those methods. During this entire process, if you face any problem or
if you have any questions, please feel free to ask those questions in
the discussions tab. I'll try to respond to
those as soon as I can. Normally, I try
to respond to all of those queries
within 48 hours, and I'll try my best to
improve that timeline also. So let me show you the first
method using which you'll be able to generate pop and
presentation using Chat JPT.
3. New to ChatGPT?: Okay, if you see my screen, currently, I'm in
Chat JBT Console. If you have not used
Chat JBT earlier, I already have a detailed
course available where I shown how can you
start using Chat JBT? And I also talked about all the available
features you need to know before you
start using hat ZPT. Check out my profile
on Skillshare only, and you'll be able to

those presentations? And then you can go back to that course to understand
more about ChatZP.
4. Method 1 – Rapid PowerPoint Slides with ChatGPT: Okay, we are all set, and now let me show
you how can you start generating POP and
presentations using hat GPT? I already copied one prompt. Let me paste it here. Please help me generating a detailed pop and presentation
on time management, covering best practices to
improve on time management, along with real life
tips and tricks. I just pasted this
prompt so that chat JPT will generate a pop
and presentation for me, covering all these time
management tips and tricks. Now, let's see how hatJPT
responds to our query. If I hit Enter, then
you'll be able to see hat JBT will start
generating the content. Now it is showing
that I'll generate detailed Pop and presentation
on time management, including best practices,
and I started generating the Python code so that it will be able to generate
the presentation for us. Now here I'm using a
Chat JBT paid plan. But I'll also show you in case you don't
have a paid plan, how can you use this method? Using the free tier also, you'll be able to generate
your presentations directly, but sometime you may
hit the threshold of the free tier limits and
whatever the problems will come, I'll show you a way out. How can you use some
of the methods to use this fretier also to generate
similar type of contents. Let's see what it's generating
here and after that, we'll switch to
that method also. Now, if I scroll down, you'll be able to see it
generated all the codes, everything, and now it generated
a presentation for me. Now, this is the
link I am getting. Let me click on it so that it will download that
presentation for me. You can see this presentation
has been downloaded, and if I double click on it, then it will open that presentation
directly on PowerPoint. And let's see whatever it generated and will it be
useful or not useful. Now you can see it
generated this content, which doesn't look
very promising. It's following that
very old way of pop and presentation where slides are in four is to three
aspect ratio. And it also doesn't have
any formatting, anything. Very quickly, let me show
you a couple of steps using which you'll be able to
beautify this presentation. I'll click on enable
editing so that I'll be able to start working
on this presentation. So let me click on. And now this is the presentation
I need to work on. First of all, I'll go
to the design tab, and there I'll be able to find one option that is slide size. If I click on this arrow, then there will be two options. I'll select wide screen. Now my presentation is in
16 is to nine aspect ratio. So this is now converted. Now, second step will
again go to design tab, and there you'll be able to find multiple different themes. I'll click on this
particular arrow, and from here, maybe you will
choose one of the theme. Let me go ahead with this one. If I click on it, then
you'll be able to see the entire theme of your presentation has
been now changed. Now, it's look bit better
than the initial stage. Now I'll show you a
few more things here. You can see whenever we selected the theme
from this design tab, it changed the theme of the entire slide deck where
in each of the slide, same type of designs are there where those contents
are also added. Now, we can do a
couple of things here. If I select maybe
the second slide, then you can see
in the right pane, this is the designer pin. For any reason if you are not able to see this
particular right pan, you can come to
Design tab again, and in the extreme right, you'll be able to find this
option that is designer. Currently, I'm using
Office 365 version, and there this particular
option is available. So this is one way you can invoke designer
inside PowerPoint. Another option is you
can come to home tab, you'll be still able to find the same option in
the same place. So same option is
available under home and designer tab
at same location. Now, once this is enabled, you can see based on my content, it is suggesting me some
of the different designs. And now, if I click on
any of this design, if I choose this one,
maybe this fourth one. And if I click on it, you can see this specific slide design got changed where my remaining
slides are still intact. Similar way, I can come to the next slide and it will
show me certain more designs, and from there, I can choose. Now, if I'm not happy
with all these options, you can scroll down, and there you'll
find another option, see more design ideas. You can click on it, so it
will show you few more ideas. If I click on this
particular option, then this slide
will get changed. This is the way
you'll be able to change other slides as
per your requirement. Now, how this will help us
think about a situation, you need to create a
PowerPoint presentation where in case you are
going to do it manually, then you need to
find the themes. You need to write
your own content, and then everything you
need to start from scratch. Now, at least, you
have a starting point. Chat JBT generated
the content for you. It also generated
a basic Pop and presentation for you and just using a few more steps
within PowerPoint, now we have this presentation. Now on top of this presentation,
you can start building. You can add your own content, and you can fine unit further. So this is the first method
using which you'll be able to generate Pop point
presentations using Chat GBT. Now let me show you
the next method.
5. Method 2 – PowerPoint Creation via VBA Code: Let me show you the next
method using which you can generate Pop and
presentations using CHAPT. Again, I'm in Cha JBT Console, and let me do one thing. If I click on this new chat, then I'll be in a new
chat and ChaGPT will not have any context of
my Alder interaction. Now here again, I
copied another prompt. I I paste it here, please help me with VBA code to generate a detailed
Pop and presentation. Remaining things I kept it same. Only thing we are asking here, instead of creating a direct
Pop and presentation, I'm asking Chat JPT to
generate a VBA code for me. This method will be really
helpful in case you are using free tier of hat GPT, where Chat JPT is not creating that pop and
presentation for you directly. The earlier method, we saw
that Chat GPT generated the PowerPoint presentation as an output file and
using that link, we could download
that particular file. But in case you are using
free tier of Chat JPT, sometimes you may
face problem that it will not generate
the file directly. It will generate the
content for you, but it will not generate
the direct file. It also generates some
time, but after that, it may hit that threshold
limit of the free tier, and then it may ask you
to wait for 8 hours, 24 hours kind of a time
window before you try again. Now, this is the
method which will help you to overcome
that situation. Now, don't worry whenever
you see that VBA code. You don't need to know a single line of VBA code
also to use this method. Let me show you what
am I talking about. Now, if I hit Enter, then Chat GPT will start
generating the content for me. Now you can see it's generating
two different responses. Some of the time it generates
two responses and it will ask you to feedback which
one you prefer the most. Now, it started generating
and once this is generated, then we'll take our next step. Now this code has
been generated if I now come here and
click on this icon, it will copy this entire code. Now we need to follow
a few of the steps. What I'll do, I'll
open PowerPoint. I'll go to a new
PowerPoint presentation and you'll be able
to see this screen. Then the next step we are
going to follow from keyboard, we will praise Alt and
then if 11 together, which will invoke Vb
editor within PowerPoint. Don't worry. You don't need to know anything about VA code, as I mentioned earlier. Just come here in this left pin. Here you can see
the presentation two, which is the new one. If I right click on it, then I come to insert and
I'll click on module. You'll be able to see
this particular window, and then I'll just
paste my code, and the next tape will come here and we'll click
on this play button. Now, once we click on it, either hat GPT will generate
the presentation for us, or it will throw an error. So let's see that whatever
it comes and based on that, we'll take our next step. So what I'll do, I'll
click on this play button. Now you can see this is the
next dialogue box we can see, and I'll click on Run. Now, there is a syntax error. Now, it's good that
we got that error. So in case you get any error
in this particular process, then how can you troubleshoot? Let me show you that step now. So what I'll do
we'll click on Okay. We'll just copy this
particular part of this code and then we'll
come back to hat GPT, we'll mention that I'm
getting error on this line. And then we'll press
sift and Enter and then I'll paste this particular
line wherever I got the error, and then I'll just hit Enter. Now what it will do, it will analyze the thing and then it will regenerate
that code for us. Currently, you can see it's
regenerating the code for us and now it's generating
the entire content. If you see initially, it only corrected
that specific area, and now it is generating
the full code. I have fixed all
potential issues and optimize the script
for better performance. And then it is generating the entire code for
us and it is writing. Now, once this is done, then what we'll do
we'll copy this code again and we'll use it
in our presentation. So what I'll do, I'll just come here and I'll click on copy. Now, this corrected code
has been now copied. I'll come to PowerPoint again. Here I'll stop this code so that it will stop. I'll
delete everything. I'll paste the new code, and then I'll click
on clay again. And let's see this time if it can generate the
presentation for us. Now you can see,
we got a prompt. PoP Point presentation on time management has been
created successfully. If I click on Okay and click on this particular
option presentation three, this is the presentation
it created for us. Using VBA code, also you'll be able to generate
Poppin presentations, and this is the way you
will be able to generate. In case you get any error, I've shown you that how
can you troubleshoot? You just need to copy that line wherever you are
getting error and you need to write it
to Chat ZPT that I'm getting error on
this specific line, and it will regenerate
the code for you. If you are facing
the problem again, you may need to try
and repmpt again. So this is the way you
will be able to generate PowerPoint presentations
using VBM method. Now, you can see it
generated the content, but it is in a different
formatting altogether, and I shown you the way how can you change the formatting
also of each of the slide? Let me very quickly
show you if I come to design and I apply any of the theme, maybe
this theme again. And then this is
the slide we got, and there in case you need to change specifically any topic, anything that you can do
from the designer pin. Specifically, you'll
be able to go to the different slides and you can change based on
your requirement. This is the way you will
be able to generate Pon presentations
using VV method, and this method is specifically useful in case you are
using a free tier. You can use it in paid plan
definitely, but free tier, it will be very much
useful in case ChatGPT is not generating the
presentations directly for you.
6. PDF to PPT: Converting Documents into Slides Using ChatGPT: Now you know couple of
ways using which you can generate POP and
presentation using Chat ZPT. Now, let's think of a
situation where you have another content
in a different format. Maybe a PDF file, you have certain
content, and you want to generate a Pop and
presentation out of it. How can you do that? So let me show you that method.
What I'll do? I have one file available
here, which is a PDF file. If I click on this plus sign, then I'll be able
to upload my files. Let me click on
it, and then I'll click on upload from my computer and then I'll select
the specific PDF file I'm talking about.
Let me click on it. Here you can see one file. This is Google prompting Guide. Earlier, I downloaded this
file from Google website, and this file contains, how can you prompt to get best out of Jenny of
the generative I tool. In this course itself, we understood that how important is prompting in
case you are getting error, how to tackle that using the prompt and
Rprompting method. So let me select this file, and if I click on Open, then it will upload
that file in hATGPT. Now, once you'll be
using this method, please make sure that you
are not uploading any of the confidential data
to hat JBT website. Because there is
a public domain, CHGPT can utilize this file
to train their LLM models. And also, if you are trying to analyze any file for
your work purpose, if you see your company data, then make sure you are not violating any of the compliance
related requirements. Check all those pointers and
then only use this method. Now coming back here, if I now paste one
very simple prompt, please read this
file and give me a detailed summary of
this entire content. Now if I click on this button, then it will read that file. You can see it's
reading that document, and it is now going to generate
the summary out of it. So while it is
generating the summary, if I open that file and
show you what it contains, it's 68 page PDF file and you can see multiple
different things at the text, images, multiple
different formatting, screenshot, all
those things are. So I specifically chose this file so that you will
be able to understand the complexity of this
file and how hat JBT is doing here in case it's able to generate the required
content for us and not. Now, if I come back
to hat JPT and C, you can see it's still
generating the content, and once this is done, then we'll take the next step because this is the
file I specifically chose so you can understand what level of complexity
hat GPT can handle. Hat JBT is taking a bit
of more time considering the complexity of the document and it's still
generating the things. And now, this is generated. Now what we can do, I'll use
another very simple prompt. Please convert this output to a well formatted
PowerPoint presentation. Now, if I hit Enter, you can see it's now started
generating that content. It is analyzing, it's writing the Python code because Alder, we extracted the text out of it, and now we are asking it to generate the
presentation for us. Now let's see if it can generate that presentation
for us or not. Now this file has
been generated. If I now click on this option, it will download that output. Now let's see what it generated. If I now double click on
this particular file, and now it will open. Similar way it generated
the presentation. We just need to go to design. We need to change the slide to wide screen and then
we'll again go to design. We'll maybe select
another format. Maybe this time this
particular theme and then entire content will
get converted. Now, again, we'll go
to specific slides and then we can make required
changes as per our requirement. So this is the way
you'll be able to use any of other file format. We used one PDF. You can use Word file,
any other format. Maybe another PowerPoint
file also you can use, and then using this method, you will be able
to convert it to another PowerPoint presentations
and Chat JPT will do it. You saw that this
particular file was nearly a 68 70 pages document, and from those all difficult and multiple
type of content, it extracted the output, and using that, we created
this presentation. Now, the beautification
part we can still work on. But if you see that it did
the difficult part for us, I converted the document to a summary which was
a difficult thing. In case you need
to do it manually, you had to read
those 60 70 pages, and then only you will be able to make a
summary out of it. Now Chat JB did it for you, and then it generated the content for the
presentation also. If you want any modification in this presentation content, that you can also prompt
and repmt to generate, and then you can look for the exact output
you're looking for.
7. Project Submission: Submit Your AI-Enhanced Presentations: So as of now, we learned how to generate pop and
presentations using Chat ZPT. As part of the project, as I mentioned in the
beginning of this course, you need to create presentations by following each of the method, and you need to submit those presentations
in the projects. The only thing you need
to make sure these are the two things
that don't upload any confidential data
to Chat ZPT and also don't upload any confidential
data in the projects. I'm eagerly waiting
to see what are the different pop and
presentations all of you generate. Let me know in the
