improve rankings. So let's get started and transform the way you
approach SEO forever.
2. What is SEO and Why It Matters: Welcome back. So
what exactly is SEO? And why should you
care? SEO stands for search engine optimization. It's the process of
making your content easier to find on search
engines like Google. When someone types a question
or keyword into Google, your goal is to have
your content show up at the top of
the search results. Good SEO means more
visibility, more traffic, and ultimately more
opportunities, whether that's more readers,
customers, or followers. The great news is you don't
need to be an expert or have a technical
background to get started. With the right approach
and tools like ChatGPT, SEO becomes way more accessible
and sometimes even fun. Throughout this
class, we'll break it all down step by step, so you can confidently
start using SEO to grow your online presence and get more traffic
to your website. In the next video, I'll
show you exactly how ChatGPT fits into this process.
3. How ChatGPT Enhances SEO Workflows: Welcome back. Now, let's
talk about how ChatGPT fits into your SEO workflow and
why it's such a game changer. Traditionally, SEO
involves a lot of research, writing,
and optimization. And it can be time
consuming and overwhelming, especially when you're
doing it all manually. That's where ChatGPT comes in. So here are some
of the things that ChatGPT can help with. It can generate keyword
ideas in seconds. It can write SEO friendly
content like blog posts, titles, and meta descriptions, organize your ideas into content calendars
or topic clusters, and even audit or rewrite
existing content to improve its optimization
and therefore its rankings. Instead of staring at a blank
page or Google endlessly, you can use Smart prompts
to get personalized, high quality results
in less time. In this class, you'll
learn how to guide ChatGPT step by step through each part
of the SEO process, from keyword research to content creation
to optimization. Coming up, we'll cover
the basics of SEO so that everything we build with ChatGPT
has a strong foundation.
4. Understanding Keywords and Search Intent: Before we dive into
using ChatGPT, let's make sure that
we understand one of the most important parts of SEO, keywords and search intent. First of all, keywords. Keywords are the words
and phrases that people type into Google when they're
looking for something. Your goal with SEO is to create content that matches what people are already
searching for. But not all keywords are equal. This is where search
intent comes in. Search intent is the
reason behind the search. Search intent is the why. If someone is trying
to learn something, that is informational intent. If they're trying
to buy something, that's commercial or
transactional intent. Or if they're finding
a specific website, that's navigational intent. Understanding the why behind a search helps you to create
the right kind of content. For example, the keyword
best running shoes has commercial intent as
people are looking to buy, but how to start running is informational because the people searching this are
looking for advice. Throughout this class,
we'll ask ChatGPT to help us find keywords and match them with
the right intent. So this means our
content not only ranks but also gives people
exactly what they need. So that's all for this video. Next, we're going to
look at the basics of on page and off page SEO so that you have a full picture of how to
optimize your content.
5. Basics of On Page and Off Page SEO: To get the most out
of chat GPT for SEO, it helps to understand the
two main types of SEO, on page and off page. So let's start with on page SEO. This is optimizing everything that you can control
on your website, the titles and
meta descriptions, headings and formatting,
keyword placement, internal links, image t text, and overall content quality. Now, don't worry
if you don't know what these terms mean just yet. Think of on page SEO as
making your content clear, useful, and easy for search
engines to understand. Now let's talk
about off page SEO. This is what happens outside of your website that helps
to boost your rankings. Blinks from other websites. Mentions of your brand online, social media signals,
and domain authority. Now, again, don't
worry if you don't yet understand some
of these terms. Basically, off page SEO is about building trust and
authority on the Internet. In this class, we'll
mostly focus on on page SEO because that's where
ChatGPT is most powerful, helping you to write
better content, optimize keywords, and improve
your content structure. But it is useful to
know both sides because they work together to boost
your search rankings. Next, I'll quickly
introduce you to a few free and paid SEO tools, that will be useful
alongside ChatGPT.
6. Introduction to SEO Tools (Google Search Console, Ubersuggest, Ahrefs): Before we dive deeper into
using ChatGPT for SEO, let's quickly talk
about a few tools that can help you along the way. These tools help you
to see the real data about what people
are searching for, how your content is performing, and where you can improve. First, we have Google
Search Console. This is a free tool
from Google that shows you how your website
appears in search results. You can see which keywords
bring people to your site, how often you show up, and
which pages need work. It's absolutely fantastic for spotting SEO issues
and opportunities. So you can see the
website that I have connected to my Google
Search Console account. I haven't actually made any
changes for about a year, so this is a pretty empty
overview, as you can see here. But this allows you to track which pages on your website are performing well and which
keywords they show up for. And it also helps you
to index your website. And there are some other tools within Google Search
Console as well. There's a relatively
new feature which allows you to track your
site's most popular content, and this is Search
Console Insights. Now, unfortunately, because this is an old website that I've not made changes to,
this just says zero, but this will tell you
how many clicks you get from Google search results, your growing content, and
your most popular content. However, as you can see, this
is not a great website for me to be looking at right now
on Google Search Console. Next up, we have Ubersuggest. Ubersuggest is a simple
keyword research tool. All you need to do
is type in a topic, and you'll get a list
of related keywords, along with search volume
and even content ideas. This is perfect for if
you're just starting out or if you need some
quick inspiration. So I'll type in Cat food. I'll leave it set to English United States and click Search. And here we go. We can
see the search volume, which countries are
searching this, the SEO difficulty for
ranking for this keyword. Now this is quite
a broad keyword, so it's going to be
quite difficult. And then if you scroll down, you can see some
more information, some of which you'll need to
create an account to access. And if you scroll down further,
if I close the pop up, you can see content
ideas as well that are related to the
keyword that you entered. So this is Ubersuggest. There are many tools
available in this platform. All you need to do is look
at the menu on the left, and you can see
keyword research, website audit,
traffic estimation, backlinks, labs, and
AI content writer. So there are loads of tools for you to use within Ubersuggest. Ubersuggest is run
by Neil Patel, and he also now has
answer the public, which is another fantastic
keyword research tool. And this allows you to see
what questions people are asking on Google or
other search engines. However, if you
see at the bottom down here, without logging in, you only have one free search, and a free account allows you to have free free searches per day. I'll just enter Cat food again and click Search and give
it a minute to load. Because there is quite a lot of content that is going to load on this page. And here we go. So if you scroll down, you
can see all of the questions related to the keyword you entered that people
are asking in Google. And you can also see
here people also ask, which is another
section within Google. If you make content then
answers these questions, that's another great way to appear in search
engines like Google. And then if you
scroll down further, there is even more
results on this page. You can see on the
menu at the top here, all over the different
results that are created. You can either
scroll down or click onto one that you want to see. So there we go. That is Ubersuggest,
and we've just also looked at Answer
the public as well. Finally, we're going to
have a look at AHFs. AHF is more advanced and is
used by SEO professionals. It lets you do in depth
competitive research, backlink analysis, and
tracking your rankings. It's powerful, but it
comes with a price tag. So it's great if
you're working on a business or clients website. So if I just have a quick
look around this page, you can see some of the tools
that are included in AHF. So it is an all in one marketing
intelligence platform. You can study your
competitors websites, audit and optimize
your own website. We have keyword explorer, content and site explorer, which allows you to track
your web mentions and links. You can improve your
content with AI, and you can monitor your website's rankings
in search engines. As you can see, there
is even, much more. But like I said, this does
come with a price tag. However, AHFs does also have
a suite of free SEO tools. Now there are actually loads
of tools on this page. So if I scroll down, we can
have a look at some of them. These are all keyword
research tools. We have link building tools, search engine results page, and ranking tools
where you can track the ranking of your
website in any country, analyze the top ten rankings for any keyword in any country. See search traffic estimates
for any website or webpage. Finally, we have
other tools as well. They have a Wordpress
SEO plugin, SEO toolbar, and AI
writing tools as well. There are a load of free SEO tools you can
access within AHHRFs. There are even more
awesome advanced SEO tools that you can use as
well, like SEMRush, which is a good alternative
to Ahrefs and MOS as well, which calls itself the
ultimate SEO tool. Now, here's the exciting part. You can use ChatGPT alongside any of these
tools to brainstorm ideas, interpret data, and
speed up your workflow, and I will show you exactly how. In the next section, we'll use ChatGPT for keyword research
and idea generation. So that is all for this video, and I'll see you in
the next one. Goodbye.
7. Prompting ChatGPT to Generate Keyword Ideas: Welcome back. Now, we're
going to jump into using ChatGPT to generate
keyword ideas. This is one of the easiest
and most helpful ways to speed up your SEO process, and you don't need
any special tools. So let's get started. Step one, start with
a simple prompt. Now, for my examples, I'm going to use a
made up business, which is going to be a
postal Brownies business, where you can buy
Brownies online, and you can receive them
straight to your door. So I'm going to start
with a simple prompt. I'm just going to
type it straight in. Here we go. This is a super simple way
to start this process. Give me a list of keywords related to postal
brownies that people might search for online.
Now I've entered that. And here is what
ChatGPT has given me. So it's given us a quick
sentence at the top, and it said that it's
put them into groups. So we have general keywords,
the one we entered, Brownies by post,
Brownies delivered, and there we go, we
have purchase intent. Order brownies online, buy brownies for delivery,
letterbox brownies. Okay, so that sounds good. Descriptive and feature based, homemade brownies by Post. Personalized Brownies delivery. Then we have occasions, geographic urgency and service. Next day brownie delivery, same day, fast postal Brownies, and then we have popular types, chocolate brownies by Post, Blondie delivery,
brownie box delivery, and Brownie gift box. That is a really good start. Now I have typed
a second prompt, which is quite similar,
but I've simply said, generate 15 keyword
ideas around the topic of postal Brownies that
people search for on Google. ChatGPT has given
me a solid list of general and niche keywords instantly in both
of its answers. First of all, it
categorized them for us, which I really do
like, and then it's given us the simple list
of 15 keyword ideas. Step two is to ask
follow up questions. So we're now going to dive
deeper into these keywords. So I have put give me long tail keywords variations
for each of these. Let's see what it gives us now. This is absolutely fantastic. For each keywords giving us free long tail
keywords variations. For Postal Brownies,
it's giving us best Postal Brownies
to send us gifts, where to buy Postal Brownies online UK affordable postal
Brownies with fast delivery. Then it's given us free
options for all of them. That is absolutely fantastic. Now I've put which
of these keywords are likely to be high intent? Let's click Search on this.
So let's come back with this. High intent keywords are
those that typically indicate a user is ready to make a purchase or take
a specific action, such as ordering or
sending something. These keywords often have
transactional language, and users searching
for them are usually closer to the point
of decision making. From the list of keywords, here are the high intent ones. So that is absolutely fantastic. It then says, These
keywords are likely to attract users who are ready
to buy or send brownies, as they include phrases
like order, buy, send gift, and specific features like next day delivery
and personalized. The third step is to customize
by audience or location. So I have written a
more targeted prompt, generate keywords
for postal brownies targeted at busy
professionals in the UK. Here are some keywords
targeting busy professionals in the UK who may be looking
for postal brownies, specifically focusing
on convenience, gift giving, and quality. So again, it split
them into categories. We have quick and
convenient delivery, corporate gifts, and
client appreciation, self care and treats
for professionals, gifts and gourmet options, convenience and customizations, special occasions and
work celebrations. So it looks like we've
got at least five for each of these categories, which is absolutely fantastic. This is super useful if you run a local business or have a
specific audience in mind. And the best part is that you
can repeat this process as many times as you like
for different topics, products, or even
blog categories. So we've only started
looking at the basics. There is much, much more
you can do with this, but that's all we're going
to do in this video for now.
8. Finding Long Tail Keywords and Questions: Welcome back. Now let's take
your keyword research even further by finding
long tail keywords and questions using ChatGPT. But first of all, what
are long tail keywords? These are longer, more
specific phrases. For example, instead of yoga, someone might search best yoga stretches for
lower back pain. They usually have
less competition and target users
with clearer intent. So if you are making
a new website or you want to be targeting keywords with less competition, long tail keywords
are the way to go. To get started, I have
entered in the prompt, give me 15 long tail
keywords related to, and then you want to
enter your topic. I've entered indoor plants
as an example, and it says, Here are 15 long tail
keywords phrases related to indoor plants that people might
search for on Google. So I'm just going to
point a few of these out, low maintenance indoor
plants for small apartments, indoor plants that
purify the air. Popular indoor plants for
beginners, then it has UK. You could put any
location depending on where your shop is and
where you sell to people, indoor plants that don't need much sunlight and indoor
plants with colorful foliage. These long tail keywords are perfect for targeting
niche interests. You are more likely
to have success using keywords like this. Now what we want to do is
find questions people ask. Questions make excellent
blog titles and headings. Now I'm going to stick with
this indoor plants topic. So I'll put what are ten
questions people might ask about taking care
of indoor plants. So here we go. I've
written in my prompt. I'll send that to ChatGPT, and it's come back here are
ten common questions people often ask about taking
care of indoor plants. How often should I
water my indoor plant? What are the best indoor
plants for low light? How can I improve the
humility for indoor plants? What type of soil is
best for indoor plants? Now, these questions
are perfect for creating content that directly answers your audience's needs. The next step is to
turn these results, these questions
into content ideas. You can turn each question or long tail keywords
into a blog post, a YouTube video, a
social media post, or a section within
a larger article. And you can even start that
process within chat GPT. So I give me blog post ideas for each of these questions,
and it's come back. Here are the blog
post ideas based on the ten questions about
taking care of indoor plants. So for the first one, how often should I water
my indoor plant? It's given us the title, the Ultimate Guide to
watering indoor plants, how much and how often? And the focus on the article is discussing
watering schedules, how to check if a plant needs water and how to
avoid overwatering. Now I'm going to scroll down and look at another random one. Here we go. Can I use regular tap water for
my indoor plants? The blog idea is
tap water versus distilled water for indoor
plants, which is better. And the focus is discuss the
pros and cons of tap water, how to filter it, and when to use distilled water
for sensitive plants. I'm just going to
have a look at one more of these results. Number six, how do I keep indoor plants healthy
during the winter? Blog idea is winter
care for indoor plants, tips to keep them thriving. And the focus is offer
advice on temperature, light and watering adjustments
for winter months. And what's even
better is that we can take this even
further with ChatGPT, and we can have ChatGPT
write the blog posts for us. But we're going to look at
that later on in this class. Coming up next, we'll look at
how to analyze competitors and how to get even more
keyword ideas using ChatGPT. But that's all for this video, and I'll see you in
the next one. Goodbye.
9. Competitor Keyword Analysis with ChatGPT: Welcome back. Now let's
explore how to use ChatGPT to analyze
competitor content and uncover keyword
opportunities. Now, because ChatGPT
has recently added a feature where
it can browse webpages, you can either do this
in two different ways. You can enter in a webpage
link straight into ChatGPT, or you can copy and
paste the content from a webpage on the Internet. Within the prompt box down here. So this might sound complicated, but don't worry, it is
really, really simple. So at step one, you want to find a competitor article 0R page. Now, in my example, it
is this one right here. So find a blog post or landing
page from a competitor that's ranking well on Google for a topic you want to target. So this is how to grow and
take care of indoor plants. Then what you want
to do is either copy the main content on
the page or instead, you could copy the
link for the page. It is completely up to you
which one you want to do, but I'm simply going
to copy the link here, and then go back into ChatGPT. The next step is to use
the following prompt. I'm going to write,
based on this content, what keywords or phrases is
this page likely targeting? I'll just paste in the URL
first, and there we go. So now you can see
I have written, based on this content,
what keywords or phrases? Is this page likely targeting? And then I've entered
the URL for the page. Now instead, you can copy and paste the content from the page, but I've gone for the URL, as that is much quicker. So then we're going to
send that into ChatGPT. Then ChatGPT will identify
repeated keyword phrases, related topics, and user
intent behind the article. Here we go. It's
done it already. It says, based on the title and content of the page you shed, this page is likely targeting keywords
and phrases such as, and then it's giving us the results in
different categories. So we have the primary keywords, the long tail and
question based phrases, related and supporting keywords, and potential intent
phrases as well. And then it says why
these keywords are used. Now we're going to move
on to the third step. And to do that, we're going to follow up
with the following question. We're going to say what
related keyword opportunities or topics are missing
from this article. This is where ChatGPT
becomes especially useful. It will suggest ideas that
the competitor didn't cover, giving you a chance
to stand out. Let's send this
prompt in right now. This is absolutely fantastic. Here we have a load of missing
keyword opportunities, and then we have related topics the article
could expand on. Then it's also said why
these are valuable. Now I have typed in another
prompt and this says give me blog post ideas that would
complement this article, but target different keywords. There we go. In a
matter of seconds ChatGPT has generated
exactly what we asked for. Now we have loads of content
ideas and keyword ideas and topics that are similar to the article from
our competitor, but they missed out on
those keywords and topics. This is where the gap
in the market is. So if we now make content using these topics
and these keywords, as long as they're
relevant to each other, they will have a better chance of ranking in search engines. So there we go.
That is how to use ChatGPT for simple
competitor analysis. Next up, we'll start
planning content with the keywords and ideas that
we've gathered so far. But for now, that is
all for this video. I'll see you in the next one. Once again, thanks and goodbye.
10. Generating Blog Topic Ideas with ChatGPT: Welcome back. So once you have your keywords and a general
idea of your niche, ChatGPT can help
you turn them into blog topics quickly and easily. Let's walk through
how we can do that. Step one, start with
a simple prompt. I've simply entered, give
me ten blog topic ideas for a gardening blog targeting beginners interested
in indoor herbs. Now you want to enter your
type of blog or website, and who your target audience are and what they're
interested in. So mine is a gardening blog
targeting people interested in indoor herbs and specifically not just
anyone but beginners. So now let's send
this to ChatGPT. This will now generate a list of article titles that
are keyword friendly and beginner
focused. Here we go. We have ten amazing
blog topic ideas, and it will tell us what the
focus on each blog topic is. Step two, you want to ask for
variations by content type. So if you want to
diversify your content, you want to enter
something like this. I've written Now give me Blog topic ideas
for how to guides, listicles, and beginner
Mistakes in indoor gardening. This will give us a
mix of content types, which will help us to appeal
to different search intents. So we have some how to
guides at the top here, and then some
listicols which put simply articles which are lists. So they're pretty much always going to have numbers
in the title. For example, seven indoor
plants perfect for small apartments or 12 tools
every indoor gardener needs. So we have our how to guides, our list of calls and
our beginner mistakes. The next step is to add
constraints for SEO. We want to make our
prompts even more specific. So here we go. Generate blog ideas under
60 characters that include the phrase grow herbs indoors and appeal to
beginner gardeners. Will help keep the
titles SEO friendly, and there will be titles
that people are more likely to click onto when they see
them in search engines. So here we go, how to grow
herbs indoors easily. Five herbs anyone
can grow indoors. Grow herbs indoors
without sunlight, top tips to grow herbs
indoors and so on. That is an absolutely
fantastic response. For the fourth step, you
want to refine and expand. If a topic catches
your eye, dig deeper. I have simply said, give me a detailed outline for
the article 5 herbs, anyone can grow indoors. Now, ChatGPT will outline
the post for you, saving you a ton of
planning time. Here we go. So we have the introduction, and then we have each
of the herbs with some information and key points that we should include
in the article. And then we have
general care tips and common beginner mistakes
and the conclusion. Finally, if you're building
a series of related posts, you want to try a prompt like create a blog
post series of five articles that target different long tail keywords
about indoor herb gardening. So there we go. I've
now written that into the prompt field just here. That looks right to
me so let's cltend. Now you're not just
brainstorming, you're building a
content strategy. So here we have blog post one, how to start an indoor
herb garden from scratch. We have a main keyword, and then we have a focus
point for the article. And then we have the
second blog post, the third, the fourth,
and the fifth. And then it's also told us
why this series will work. Each article answers a
distinct user intent. The keywords are highly
specific long tail phrases, perfect for ranking in a niche. And together, the posts
form a content cluster, helping you to build authority
on indoor herb gardening. Then it's even asking
us if we want help outlining or drafting
one of these posts. But we're not going
to do that just yet. Next up, we're going to take all of our ideas and organize them into a content calendar that we can actually stick to. But for now, that is
all for this video. I'll see you in the next one. Once again, thanks, and goodbye.
11. Building a Content Calendar: Welcome back. So now
you've got a list of great SEO blog post ideas. But how do you turn them into a consistent publishing plan? That's what we're
going to do right now. We're going to build a
simple content calendar with the help of hat GPT. Step one, we're going to ask hat GPT to organize
our blog ideas. So we're going to
use this prompt. Using the following
blog post titles, create a four week
publishing schedule, spread them out logically, and include recommended
publishing dates. Now what you want
to do is enter in the blogpost titles that
you want it to use. However, I'm going
to adjust this slightly and what I'm going to do is ask it to use these
five blog posts just here. Now it says, using the
blog post titles above, create a four week
publishing schedule, spread them out logically and include recommended
publishing dates. There we go. Now
hat GPT will group your topics and assign
suggested posting dates. You can copy and paste that into a Google Sheet or
a notion board. Next up, we're going to add content types and keyword focus. So what we're going to say
is for each blog post, suggest the content format. For example, how to list or guide the main keyword
and a secondary keyword. This will give our
content calendar, a structure, and SEO
focus at a clear glance. So here we have five posts
along with the format, the main keyword, and
a secondary keyword. Now, I would also suggest adding due dates and assigning tasks. If you work on your own, you can add writing deadlines, editing deadlines, and a publishing date that you
want to work towards. Or if you work with others, you can assign specific
tasks and responsibilities. The final step is to
make it reusable. We're going to ask
Chat GPT to create a content calendar
template that I can reuse each month
for blog planning. Then we can save it
into Google Sheets or Notion or any other planning
tool you want to use, and you can repeat the
process anytime you want. So there we go. I've
sent that into chat GPT. I've simply said, generate a content calendar
template I can reuse each month
for blog planning. A content calendar keeps you
consistent and consistency is key in SEO. So here we go. This is our blog content
calendar template. We've got the weeks, the
dates, the blog titles, the main keyword,
secondary keyword, content format, and any notes. So now I've said, please
fill this in using the five blog posts we
have already confirmed. So here we go. This is
absolutely fantastic. Week one, week, two, week
three, week, four, week five, the date for
publishing, the titles, the main keywords, secondary
keywords, content format. So this one is a how to step
by step guide, A listicL. This one's a how to tutorial, a problem solution guide, and a list of DIY projects. And then it's added some notes. Now this is just an example. We'll need to put
in what is correct. For example, we could put draft in progress,
ready for editing, outline completed,
needs images writing draft or final draft
ready for publishing. Now what you want
to do is put this into your chosen platform, and you can change
this each week or create a new one
each week using the template so that
you have a calendar that you can work along with so you know what
you're doing when. So here we go. I've created
a Google Sheets document, and I have titled it
Blog content calendar. Then we are going
to copy this table, and I'm going to
paste it in right here into Google sheets. Now we're going to make a few changes so that
there's enough space. Just drag these across. And there we go. Now, you can make some changes
to this if you want. I want them to be
aligned to the left. There we go. They're all
aligned to the left, and the titles are centered. Now, I might do this in notion instead because I do
prefer using Notion, but this just gives you a quick example as to
how easy this is to do. So we have what week it is, what date it's going
to be published, the blog post title, the main keyword for each post, secondary keywords,
content format, and notes as well. So let's just change
these all to be draft in progress,
and there we go. That is our blog content
calendar created. You can keep doing this over and over every single month to keep on track for publishing new and fresh
content every week. So there we go. That
is all for this video. I hope you enjoyed it, and I will see you in the next one. Once again, thanks, and goodbye.
12. Mapping Keywords to Content Clusters: Hello, and welcome back. In this lesson,
we're going to take your keyword and blog ideas a step further by organizing
them into content clusters. Why? Because Google loves
organized topic based websites. Clusters help search
engines understand your site structure
and authority. So step one, ask ChatGPT
to group your keywords. I have written group the following keywords into
related topic clusters. Each cluster should
have a main topic and three to five
supporting keyword ideas. ChatGPT will organize your
keywords into neat groups. These are your content clusters. Now, ChatGPT has already created the keywords
that we want to use. We just need to scroll up
to get them. So here we go. The keywords we're going to
be using are these ones here. And this is the missing
keyword opportunities from the competitor article we
had ChatGPT look at earlier. So we have best indoor plants for beginnos and all of these. So we're just going to copy
these and paste them in, and I'm going to remove all of these ticks because
we don't need those. And let's click Send. So ChatGPT has generated each of these into
topic clusters, each with a main topic and
supporting keyword ideas. This approach will help you
create content that targets related searches and improves SEO by focusing on
specific subtopics. So we have the first one indoor plant care and maintenance. The main topic is
indoor plant care, and then we have these four
supporting keywords as well. Indoor gardening techniques, main topic and
supporting keywords, and again, for all
of the others. And then it's also said
why this approach works. The next step is
to turn clusters into pillar and
supporting content. For each cluster, the main topic becomes your pillar post, and the supporting
keywords become individual blogposts that
link back to the pillar. This technique builds
topical authority and improves internal linking. So let's start with
this first one here. This means the main topic
is the pillar post. So we'll write an in depth article about indoor plant care, and then we'll write
a smaller article about a more specific
topic for each of these. So these are these
specific topics. And when we write
these articles, they will link back to
the main pillar post, which will be this
blog post here. The first step is to visualize
or list your structure. To do this, you can use
a mind mapping tool or a simple list in
Notion or Google Docs. And the final step is to use
it for long term planning. Once you've got your clusters, you can build out your
calendar with purpose. No more guessing as to
what to write next. That's all for this video, but stay tuned because
next we'll start writing SEO friendly blog
posts using ChatGPT. So I'll see you in the next one. Thanks, and goodbye.
13. Creating SEO Friendly Blog Posts: Welcome back. Now that we
have our content clusters, let's start writing an
SEO friendly blogpost using ChatGPT. This will be your go to
workflow for turning keywords into valuable content
quickly and efficiently. So step one, start
with a solid prompt. We'll begin by telling
ChatGPT what we want. So this is my prompt
template just here. This is write an SEO
friendly blog post about certain topic. You need to insert
your topic here. Target the keyword and then you need to
insert your keyword, make it around 1,000 words and include a clear
structure with headings, bullet points, and
a call to action. What I'm going to do is go
back to my content cluster, and I'm going to select this one here, indoor
gardening techniques. And then we're going to target the keyword edible
indoor gardens. So here we go. Write. An
SEO friendly blogpost about indoor
gardening techniques. Target the keyword
edible indoor gardens. Make it around 1,000 words and include a clear
structure with headings, bullet points, and a call to
action. So, let's send that. ChatGPT will now
generate a draft. It may not be perfect, but it is a great starting
point. So here we go. We have a title,
the Ultimate Guide to edible indoor gardens, fresh food at your fingertips. And we have the
introduction section here. We have Wy grow and
edible indoor garden. And we have some bullet points, best edible plants
for indoor gardens, herbs, leafy greens,
compact fruits, how to set up your
edible indoor garden. Tips for keeping your edible
indoor garden thriving. Delicious ways to use your indoor harvest and start your edible
indoor garden today. Next step is to
refine the structure. If the structure isn't quite
right, you want to guide it. So for example, you
can have it rewrite the introduction if you're not happy with the introduction. This may not be
quite long enough, or you could ask
it to add FAQs to the end based on frequently
searched questions in Google. This will boost your SEO by targeting more long
tail keywords. So I'm going to
ask it to do both of those. So here we go. I have said rewrite this with a stronger introduction
and also add FAQs to the end of
the post based on relevant questions
people ask Google. So the FAQs, especially, are going to be fantastic for boosting the SEO for the post. So we have the new
introduction here, which, to be honest, doesn't
seem super different. It's only two paragraphs. Quite similar, but we
can leave that for now. That'll be okay. And I'll
scroll down to the bottom. And we have the FAQ
section as well. Okay, that is fantastic. However, I do think
each section needs a couple of paragraphs,
not just bullet points. Well, not the FAQ section. So each of the sections,
other than FAQs, need a few more
paragraphs as only having bullet points
is not enough. So let's send that off. And I'm hoping this will
be a bit better. Okay, so the intro is fine. Two paragraphs is fine
for the introduction. You're going to get
straight into the article. And then we have, why grow
an edible indoor garden. So previously, it had a sentence and then
some bullet points, and then another sentence. Okay. This is annoying
because it's just got rid of the bullet points rather than keeping the bullet points
and adding the paragraphs. Okay, this is very good, but I do still want bullet points, as well as the paragraphs to break up the content and
make it more readable. We just need to refine the
blog posts that it writes, just so that it's
perfect for our blog. So let's hope now this
is better. There we go. So with the introductions,
fine, still. The first section, we have our paragraphs and
our bullet points. The second section,
we've still got the paragraphs and also well, a paragraph and the bullet
points here as well. The third section,
we've got a paragraph, some bullet points, and then
another sentence, some tips. Okay, I think this is
looking much better, and I'm liking the
Emochs as well as they are very relevant to the
content that they're with. So they look
absolutely fantastic. And then delicious ways to
use your indoor harvest. The FAQs, of course, start your edible
indoor garden today. Okay, so that is much better. The next step is to personalize
and edit your content. So even with a great AI draft, it's also important to
add personal examples, refine the tone to
match your brand, and also double check
facts and links. Because remember, Google
rewards originality, not copy and paste content. Put this into Google Docs or whatever platform you want
to write your articles in, and then you can add your
own personalizations to it, make it absolutely perfect, add a few more paragraphs
where they're needed, and then you are ready
for the final step, which is to use the content in your content management system or wherever your blog is posted. So once your blog post is ready, paste it into
Wordpress, Webflow, or wherever you host your
blog and be sure to format it cleanly and add
internal links to the other posts in the
content cluster you created. So if we just scroll
back up we will also create blog posts for the other topics in
our content cluster, as you can see just here, because they're
relevant to each other, you can also link them
to each other as well. Now we just scrolled
back to the bottom. And just like that,
you've created a well structured SEO
friendly blog post with the help of ChatGPT. That's all for this video,
but in the next one, we'll be writing meta titles and descriptions that
actually get clicks. So I'll see you in the next one. Thanks and goodbye.
14. Writing Meta Titles and Descriptions: Hello, and welcome back. Now that we've written
our first blog post, the next important
step is crafting your meta title and description. This is the text
that shows up in Google search results
for your webpage. So you have the title for the
page and the description, and this needs to
be written well so that people are more
likely to click onto it. So these two pieces of text
are key to getting clicks, even if you're already
ranking in search results. So step one, what makes
a good meta title? It needs to be around
50 to 60 characters. It needs to include
your main keyword, and it needs to be clear,
clickable and relevant. Let's get ChatGPT to help us to write our meta title.
So here we go. This is the prompt that
we're going to be using. Write free meta titles for a
blog post about your topic, and the topic is indoor
gardening for beginners, targeting the keyword,
edible indoor gardens. Now, of course, you will
enter your own keyword. Make them under 60
characters and compelling. So let's send that
in to ChatGPT, and ChatGPT will give you some strong options to
choose from. Here we go. So we have free SEO friendly
meta titles generated. We have Grow edible indoor
gardens, a beginner's guide, easy edible indoor gardens
for new gardeners, and start edible indoor
gardens at home today. So there we go. We
have three options to choose from already
for our meta title. The next step is to create
a meta descriptions. So what makes a good
meta description? It needs to be
150-160 characters. It needs to expand on
your title with context, and it needs to use a call
to action or value Hook. So this is the prompt
that I would use, right, free SEO friendly meta descriptions for a
blog post about, and then that's where you
would insert your topic. Keep them under 160
characters and include a CTA, which is a call to action. Now, I'm not going to
keep it just like this. I'm going to change
it slightly because it already knows what the
article 0R blog post is. So I'm going to say
for this blog post, and we don't need
to put the topic because it knows it because of already generating
the meta title. I write free SEO friendly meta descriptions
for this blog post, keep them under 160 characters and include a call direction. There we go. And fantastic. We have free options for
our meta descriptions. Grow fresh herbs
and greens indoors. Learn easy tips for edible indoor gardens and
start harvesting today. Want fresh food year round. Discover how to create an edible indoor garden at
home, start growing now. And finally, must start edible indoor gardening with
our beginner friendly guide. Fresh, homegrown flavors await, read more. So there we go. We have three options for
our meta description. Then you could also use
ChatGPT to change the tone. So you could ask it
to make the tone more friendly, formal, curious, fun, wherever you want
the tone to be based on the tone that you will
use on your whole blog. So I've given it a
super simple prompt. Please make the tone
informative but fun. So let's see what it's given us. Ready to jazz up your meals, grow herbs and
greens indoors with our easy edible garden guide. Fresh flavors await.
Let's get blunting. And then we have craving
fresh basil on demand. Learn how to start an edible
indoor garden and turn your kitchen into
a tasty jungle. It's easier than you think. And finally, say goodbye
to the wilted store herbs. Discover fun foolproof
tips to grow an edible indoor garden and keep your dishes
bursting with flavor. So if you like this tone, you can continue using this
tone for your other content. But if you don't, you
can change it up. It is completely up to you. Finally, the third step is to
apply it to your blog post. Once you've chosen your
favorite title and description, paste them into your
blog post settings. Most platforms
like Wordpress and Webflow have dedicated
SEO fields for this. Just to show you a
really quick example, how to apply it to a
blog post in Wordpress, I've opened the Admin panel for one of my
WordPress websites, and you can see this is a
blog post on my website. In order to add the meta
title and description, I highly suggest installing the Rank MAF SEO plugin
to a WordPress website. Then within the
blog post Editor, simply click onto
this icon here, and it will open the Rank
Math settings for this page. You can enter your
focus keyword. You can view the preview of how it look like
in search engines. You can see an SEO checklist of things you need to complete, and you can also edit your
meta title and description, which is what we're
trying to do right now. So to do that, you want to
click the Edit Snippet button. And then you can
add your meta title and your meta
description just here. So that is super easy to do, and it just takes a
couple of seconds. And once you've entered in your new title and description, you can close out of that
and save your blog post. So there we go. That
is all for this video. Before I end, though, I just want to give you
a few quick tips. Don't ever stuff your
content with keywords as this is seen as spammy
by readers and also, more importantly, by Google. You simply need to focus on clarity, interest,
and relevance. So that's it for Metadata. Next, we'll make sure
your content is formatted for both readability
and SEO performance. So that's all for this video. I'll see you in the next one. Thanks, and goodbye.
15. Formatting Content for Readability and Engagement: Now that your content is written and optimized with keywords, let's make sure that
it's easy to read and engaging both for humans
and search engines. Google pays attention to how users interact
with your content. If they stay longer,
scroll and don't bounce immediately,
that's a good sign. So how do we format our
content for better engagement? Number one, you want to
use short paragraphs. Aim for one to three
sentences max per paragraph. Big blocks of text are
intimidating on screens. Number two, use headers
to break up content. Use H two and H free headers to organize
sections clearly. You can even ask
ChatGPT to rewrite a blog post with H two and H free subheadings for clarity. Now, I'm not sure how well
this is going to work, as the blog post it wrote was already
pretty well formatted. But let's see what it does here. Yeah, it's pretty much the same because it was pretty
well written already. Because the page will have a
H one heading for the title, and then these will be H twos, and this would be a H three. So each section will have a H
two and a H three below it. As you can see, that is
absolutely fantastic. That looks absolutely
fine to me. The reason you want to do
this is to add a hierarchy to your text as that really helps search engines
to read your content, of course, it helps people too. Number three, you want to add bullet points and
numbered lists. These help readers
scan the page quickly. And they also make complex
info easier to digest. So like we have in
this article here, having these bullet points
makes it much easier to read rather than loads of paragraphs you
have to read through. A reader can then
quickly scan through the blog post and understand the information within
it much easier. Number four, is add
bold, important phrases. Highlight key takeaways or must know ideas to guide
the reader's eye. So pieces of content like this, using the emojis and
bold text will catch the reader's eye
and help them to take in important
pieces of information. Number five is include
visuals or embedded media. If you can, you want to add
images, graphics, or videos. Visual elements like these keep people on the page for longer. If you have images that you could add to an
article like this, so we could add
relevant images or videos or even
graphics with data, and it will make the
content even more engaging. And finally, number six, add a call to action at the end, just like ChatGPT did
in this blog post here. We've got ready to get started, download our free indoor edible
Garden starter checklist or leave a comment below. We'd love to hear about
your edible garden plans. So this is a call to action
because quite simply, you are getting the
reader to take an action. You can even ask ChatGPT to rewrite your post for
better readability. For example, you could say, improve the formatting
and structure of this blog post to make it
easier to scan and read online, and then of course, add
your blog post content to the prompt so they know
what you're talking about. Simple adjustments like
these can dramatically improve user experience
and also SEO performance. That is all for this video. Next up, we'll start optimizing older content to
give it new life. Thanks and goodbye.
16. Auditing Existing Blog Posts with ChatGPT: Hello, and welcome back. Now let's talk about how
to use hat GPT to audit your existing blog content and uncover quick wins
that can boost your SEO. Instead of starting
from scratch, improving old posts can
give you faster results. Let's walk through a simple
process using hat GPT. Step one, you want to start with a published blog post
on your website. I am on my website right here. I'm just going to click onto the third page and I'll go
into a random article here. Let's go for this one, social
media marketing secrets for Ecommerce success. And this was in 2024. So it looks pretty good, but
I'm sure we can improve it. So what you then need
to do is copy the text from an article that's
Audi live on your website. I'm going to use this one here. Ideally, choose a post that ranks poorly or has dropped in traffic because you want to choose a post that
needs improvement. Now I'm going to
give you an example, so I'm just going to use
this one right here. You can either copy
the content within the post or you can
copy the pages URL. But for this example,
I will copy all of the content. And there we go. So now that has been copied. So let's go back to chat GPT. I'm going to paste the
article into here, but we do need to put
our prompt at the top. So the main prompt is this. You are an SEO expert. Please audit the
following blog post for opportunities to
improve on page SEO, keyword usage, readability
and engagement. And then I've said,
suggest specific changes. So here we go. Let's
see what it says. So keyword usage and SEO
opportunities. Primary keyword. The core phrase should be clear, and it looks like
you're targeting social media marketing
for ecommerce. However, that exact phrase
doesn't appear enough. So here we have some
actionable suggestions. It says, add the
primary keyword to the title and in the
first paragraph. And then for subheadings, you want to consider adding
keywords like these two here. And then it's basically
saying to add variations of that keyword so that we are ranking for
multiple keywords. So it integrates synonyms and
related terms throughout. And it's given us some
examples, and it says, An example rewrite successful
social media marketing for ecommerce or social
selling requires. So there we go. And then we have some on page
SEO improvements. Title and meta description. The first line could double as an engaging meta description. Add a clear H one at the
top with the main keyword. Then of course,
structured headings. This is what we
were talking about before with the hierarchy, and then internal linking, add links to other
relevant articles on your site if you have them. External linking, add
authoritative external links. For example, link to official guides from
Instagram, Facebook, PintSt and other
social media platforms about their shopping features. And then we have image
t text and media, embed images or infographics, showcasing examples
of shoppable posts, user generated content
campaigns, and add creatives. Then it says to add a
descriptive Out text to images with your keywords. Then it's even given
us readability and engagement tips as well. Make the paragraphs shorter, add bullet points and lists, add call to actions, and add examples and data. We've also got content depth and authority, expand key sections. And also add an FAQ
section as well. This is great for SEO as it captures long tail queries
and user engagement. It's even given us
some example FAQs that we could add also
some final notes as well. Be consistent with branding, optimize for mobile, and
add schema markup as well. However, this is more advanced, so you don't need to worry
about this bit quite as much. And then finally is giving us a summary of key changes that we need to make in order to
further optimize our article. So for step three, we need
to review these suggestions. You can then take
that feedback and apply it directly to your post in your content
management system like Wordpress or in
your text editor, wherever you write
your blog posts. And here's a quick
bonus for you as well. This is another prompt
that you can use. And it says, based
on this blog post, suggest three new sections
I could add to increase keyword coverage and value to the reader. So let's click Send. First of all, we have
measuring social media ROI, which is return on investment
for ecommerce success. And then it said, why we should add it and what to include. Choosing the best social
media platforms for your ecommerce niche and building a social
media content calendar for ecommerce brands. And it's even given us
some combined benefits. Auditing we have
chat, GPT is fast, insightful and doesn't
require expensive tools. So that is all for this video. In the next one, we'll take
this fervor and learn how to refresh old content to improve
search engine rankings. That is all for
this one, though. So thanks and goodbye.
17. Refreshing Old Content for Better Rankings: Welcome back. So once you've
audited an old blog post, the next step is to refresh it for better SEO performance, and ChatGPT can help streamline
this entire process. Refreshing old content is
one of the easiest ways to improve your rankings without writing an entirely new article. So the prompt I'm using is
this one here, and it says, This blog post was
originally written in and then enter the
year that you wrote it, please review it and suggest updates to make it more current, relevant, and SEO optimized in whatever the current year is. And then, of course, enter in the blog post content or
the URL for that page. This gives ChatGPT the
context it needs to modernize your content while keeping your voice
and structure intact. Once again, I'm just
going to select a blog post from my website. All of these blog posts
are quite old as I've not updated the website in
over a year at least. But let's go through to
one of the older ones. And I think that this one here is going to be
a good one to use. This was posted in 2022, nine Instagram marketing
strategies for bakeries. Now, it looks like
a decent article, but I'm sure there are
improvements that can be made. So I've just copied the URL for the page because I don't want
to copy all of the content, and now we're going to
go back into ChatGPT. And I will say that it
was posted in 2022, and we want to update it. So it's relevant in 2025. Then I'll enter in
the URL for the page. Okay, so we have
got the response from ChatGPT which
says, of course, I reviewed your blog
post, and then it says, It's a great approachable guide with specific ideas for Bakers. But since it's from 2022, updating it will both
improve relevance and help it rank better in 2025. Here is a detailed audit
with specific suggestions. So first of all, we have
high level observations. This piece is practical. Good use of headings,
bullet points, and images. Though some images could be updated for freshness
and quality, mentions of outdated Instagram features need removal
or replacement. Then it says that
there's no coverage of new art Instagram
trends, for example, reels templates,
AI powered tools, updated shopping features, and Instagram
broadcast channels. Keywords could be better optimized for current
search demand in 2025 and the post would
benefit from recent examples, stats or references to signal freshness to both
readers and search engines. So here we have specific
updates and recommendations. First of all, refresh
keyword targeting. And then it says that the
core keyword is strong, but we should add and sprinkle newer high volume keywords. And then it's also giving us an example intro update
that we can use. Then we have update, outdated
or missing strategies. So there we go. It's telling
us what we need to update. Next up, modernize the visuals, replace outdated screenshots, add examples of
bakery specific reals or trending formats, and consider adding
short demo videos. Next, we have add current
data and examples, expand local SEO relevance, improve on page SEO, enhance
engagement opportunities. For example, we
could add a call to action like this one here. And then a bonus, which
is consider new sections, best Instagram hash tags
for bakeries in 2025, and how to measure Instagram
success for your bakery. And then it's just telling
us the things that we must do to improve
this article. So a lot of this is optional, but these are some of the things that we
absolutely must do. For example, replace
outdated Instagram features, refresh headings and keywords, add recent data,
modernize visuals, add local SEO and
engagement focused tips, and expand content with FAQs, new strategies or bonus
sections. There we go. ChatGPT has given us an in depth response as to how we can refresh this article that was
written in 2022 for 2025. The second step is to
improve keyword targeting. We're going to use this
prompt here, which says, based on this article
and the primary keyword, which is then where we'll
enter the primary keyword, suggest improvements to boost keyword usage without
keyword stuffing. So the primary keyword was Instagram marketing for bakeries. So we'll just enter that and we can send that off to ChatGPT. Okay, so where the
article falls short, the exact phrase doesn't
appear too many times. There's inconsistent mention of synonyms or related keywords, and some H two and
H three headings don't contain keywords at all. This is an easy place to
improve on page SEO naturally. So here we go. We have
specific keyword improvements. Optimize the introduction. Instead of Instagram is a
great tool for bakeries. Use this sentence here. Instagram marketing for
bakeries is essential in 2025, helping you connect
with local customers and showcase your treats
with engaging content. This places the primary keyword naturally in the
first hundred words, which search engines favor. Add keywords to headings, and it's given us some examples. The improved heading
should say use Instagram stories for
bakery marketing. And another example it's given us engage with your customers. It would be better if it says, engage with your customers using Instagram marketing
for bakeries. You don't need the primary
keyword in every heading, but adding it to
two to three H twos significantly strengthens
on page signals. And then we need to
sprinkle related keywords. For example, Instagram
als for bakeries, bakery Instagram marketing
tips, and so on. And then we have an
example sentence upgrade. I'm not going to read
through all of it because I don't want
to waste your time. Add a keyword rich F. So at
the bottom of the article, add an FAQ section. What's the best way to start Instagram marketing
for bakeries in 2025? Begin by setting up a consistent posting
schedule featuring grills, stories and customer
testimonials. Optimize your Instagram profile, so it's easy for customers to find your bakery
and order online. And then number five, expand the conclusion with the keyword. Instead of a generic
closing line like these tips will
help your bakery grow, try something like
with these strategies, you can master Instagram
marketing for bakeries and turn followers into loyal customers who
crave your baked goods. Finally, number six, include
keyword in image t text. If you add or
update your images, use descriptive Alt text like Instagram
marketing for bakeries, example of cake shop reels, or bakery Instagram post
showing decorated cupcakes. This massively helps Google Image search and
reinforces topical relevance. And then we've just been given a summary of the keyword
usage improvements, which is everything
we've just gone over. The next step is to add
value to your art school, and we're going to do that
with this prompt tier. What expert insights,
data, examples, or FAQs can be added to this post to improve
value and authority? This is a great way to keep
your content competitive. So we have expert insights. You can add a quote from current social media
marketing experts. And we have an example here. We have recent data, platform
engagement statistics. In 2025, Instagram reals have had an average
engagement rate of 3.5% across small
business accounts compared to just
1.2% for photos. And then we'd have to
credit where we got this statistic from as well. 80% of Instagram users say
they decide whether they visit a physical store based
on Instagram content. And once again,
you'll give credit to where you got that data. We have some real
bakery examples. Now, these are made up examples, but we would be able to
put in some real examples, and then it's given us a
potential FAQ section. How often should bakeries
post on Instagram? Instagram ads worth it for local bakeries and
other relevant FAQs. And finally, we have
additional value builders. For example, add short
interviews or quotes. You could interview a
few bakery owners about what strategies have actually worked for them
in the past year. You could add visual examples, or you could add free tools or downloadable resources
like a checklist or a content calendar template for Bakery Instagram planning. And then this is how
this helps our article. So this will increase
authority, engagement, and SEO. And finally, step four, get a refreshed meta
title and description. So we're now going to
get ChatGPT to write a new meta title and
description for this article. Please write me a new
SEO friendly meta title and description for
this refreshed article. Give me three options for each. So here we have three new
meta title options we can use for the article and three new
meta descriptions as well. So you just need to select
which you think is the best and you can use
them on your article, whether that's on Wordpress, Webflow, or wherever
you host your content. Once you've got your updates, simply make the changes
in your content editor, and if appropriate,
you should consider republishing the post
with a new date. Refreshing your articles with ChatGPT equals faster updates, higher value, and better
search engine rankings. Next, let's look at improving your internal linking
strategy with ChatGPT. But for now, that is
all for this video, so I'll see you in the next one. Thanks and goodbye.
18. Improving Internal Linking Structure: Internal linking is a powerful and often
overlooked part of SEO. It helps Google understand your content structure and keeps visitors on
your site longer. In this video, we'll use ChatGPT to analyze content and suggest internal links that improve
your SEO and user experience. Now this first prompt
is really good if ChatGPT knows a lot about
the content on your website. It's worth opening a
previous ChatGPT chat so that there are past
responses within it. Where you've mentioned a lot about the content in your blog. Then you simply want
to write this prompt. Here's a blog post about
and then enter the topic. Can you suggest other
related topics I've written about that this post
could internally link to? Let's head over to my website
and go to the blog page. Let's click on to this one here. For the topic, I'll put brand loyalty or
building brand loyalty, and then I will enter in
the page URL below it. So here we go. We'll
enter in the topic, and I've already pasted
in the URL for the page. So here's a blog post about
building brand loyalty. Could you suggest other
related topics I've written about that this post
could internally link to? And then I've entered
the URL for the post. Now to make this work
better within this prompt, you could add the titles for
all of your other articles, but I understand that could take a long time if you have
a lot on your website. However, it looks
like it's already through this link for this post, looked at the other articles on my website and looked
at the topics of each article and suggested some related articles I've written that are perfect
for internal linking. As you can see, it's found the Instagram marketing
strategies for bakeries. However, that one was
already in the chat further. But it's also found
other examples as well, the power of user generated
content for small businesses, creating a social media
content calendar, how to leverage social proof
to increase online sales. And you can also
click on each of these links to see
the URL for them. Instagram real ideas.
This is fantastic. Then it says link to
this article underneath each of them and suggested anchor text for
each of them as well. Then at the bottom, it's how
to use these internal links, add them naturally,
avoid forcing links and use
descriptive anchor text. Now, step two would
have been to get suggested anchor text for the links where you're going
to be internal linking. However, it's actually
already done that for us. Now, I will just give you the prompt that I was
going to use anyway, just in case it didn't give you the suggested anchor text
below each of these options. So the prompt I would
have said was suggest natural anchor text from this article to use when
linking to these related posts. So I'm still going to into this just to see what it gives us. There we go. So it's
pretty much the same. However, I've just done this basically in case
in this prompt, it didn't give you the
suggested anchor text. It will definitely
generate it for you now down here in this prompt here. So that is absolutely fantastic. And finally, we
have at step three. This is to improve the linking structure
across our website. So we're going to use a higher
level prompt for this one. So here we go. So far,
I've written suggests a smart internal
linking strategy that groups posts by topic and
improves site structure. I've added, you
can access all of the blog posts on my
website via this link. And now I just need
the blog page link. And send that in.
And here we go. So here we have the
response being generated. That's a smart move,
thoughtful internal linking based on topical clusters. We'll strengthen your SEO, improve user experience, and signal to Google how
your content relates. I've checked the posts
listed on your blog page, and here is a practical
internal linking strategy that groups them into
clear topic clusters. So first of all,
we have Instagram and social media
marketing cluster. Have the key posts and
the linking approach. Then we have local and small
business marketing cluster. Again, key posts and
linking approach, website and ecommerce
optimization, and then it's given us a
strategy to connect clusters. So in each cluster, make
sure every post links to at least two to three other
posts in the same cluster. The main hub post summarizing
the cluster and one to two relevant posts from a different cluster for
broader site connectivity. Then implement hub
and spoke structure. So create Pillar
pages that summarize each cluster topic and link
to individual articles. So a Pillar page would be
a sort of ultimate guide. As you can see here,
ultimate guide to Instagram marketing
for small businesses. Within this post, you can link to your Instagram
related posts, and then we have local marketing strategies for small businesses. Here I would link to
the social proof, loyalty, and Google
My Business posts. Then it's highlighting
the importance of using contextual
descriptive anchor text. Always link with relevant
phrases, for example, how to create an effective
Instagram content calendar instead of just
writing, click here. Contextual linking improves
SEO and user experience. As a bonus, it says, add related posts widgets. At the end of each post, add related articles section with three to four articles
in the same cluster. This improves dwell time
and reduces bounce rates, and it's even generated a visual example of
a site structure. So we have the hub posts, which I would call
the pillar content, which is basically where you
would go for everything. And then we have more
specific posts that we can link to from
the pillar content. And here we have
the other examples. And the benefits of this
strategy, this improves SEO, boosts the amount of time that users spend on your website, makes your site structure
easier for Google to crawl and builds your
authority on each topic. Now, I've also got two bonus
tips for you here as well. ChatGPT can even help
you find orphaned pages. These are posts that aren't linked to from anywhere
else on your site. So now I'm going to ask
ChatGPT which of the posts on my website are likely to have no internal links
pointing to them. This will help us
to find the gaps in our linking structure. So here we go. I've written
the prompt and sent it in. As you can see, it
is saying about identifying orphaned
content, just like I said, and it's given us some of the posts that are
likely to have no or few internal
links pointing to them. So it's given us some examples, and then it's saying why
these are important to fix and not just why
they're important to fix, how we can fix them as well. So add contextual links to these posts from related
hire traffic articles, create hub pages and use
related article widgets. Now, the final tip that
I'm going to give you in relation to internal
linking is to get ChatGPT to suggest
new content clusters for your website based on the
types of content you post. So I've simply written,
please can you give me ten ideas for new content
clusters based on the type of content that I post on my website so that I have more pages that
can link to each other. So first of all, Instagram marketing
for local businesses, the Pillar page or the
cluster hub would be a complete guide to Instagram for local shops
and service providers. And then it's given
us some article ideas that can be within this cluster. Then we have building customer loyalty for small businesses, along with the Pillar page
and the article ideas. Social media advertising
on a budget. So this is completely new. I've not posted any of these, but it's given us a completely
new cluster we can create, visual content creation
for non designers. This will be things like
Canva and graphic design, mastering Google tools
for small businesses, Google My Business,
Google reviews, Google Analytics, Google
Trends, and so on. Content planning and
calendars, and there we go. It's given us loads of ideas. And it's also told us
why these clusters work. They match the current style
of content on my website. Each cluster gives us multiple
new post ideas that link naturally to each other
and our existing posts. They position us as an
authority in specialized areas, not just general
social media tips, and they are perfect for creating pillar
pages, therefore, greatly improving
the internal linking and SEO for your website. So there we go. That
is all for this video. By improving your
internal linking, you make your site more
helpful for readers and more understandable
for search engines.
19. Using ChatGPT for YouTube SEO (Titles, Descriptions, Tags): Hello, and welcome back. If you're creating
content on YouTube, SEO still plays a huge role, and yes, ChatGPT can
help with that too. In this video, I'll
show you how to use ChatGPT to generate
optimized titles, descriptions, and tags
for your YouTube videos. Step one is to start
with the video topic. What we're going to
do is say to ChatGPT, I'm uploading a YouTube video about and then enter the topic. Can you write an SEO
friendly title that includes relevant keywords
and encourages clicks? My topic is how to build
a website on Shopper Fi. So let's send that.
And here we go. So we've been given five different optimized
video title ideas. The second step is to write
the video description. So I'm going to say to ChatGPT, now write a compelling YouTube description
for this video, including relevant keywords
and a call to action. Here we go. Here is an optimized description
for our video. So we have the first sentence which will grab the
reader's attention. Ready to build your
own Shoppy website. In this step by step tutorial, I'll show you exactly
how to create a stunning professional
Shopfy store from scratch. Perfect for beginners in 2025. Then we have some bullet points, what the viewer will learn
and a final sentence. Then we have a
section of keywords. Don't forget to comment and
subscribe. Useful links. So, for example, we could
have an affiliate link, resource links, links
to a free Shoppy Trial, or a link to our own website. ChatGPT has also generated
some example chapters, which can be used as
timestamps in the description. Finally, we need to generate
some tags for our video. The prompt I have written for
this is give me a list of ten to 15 YouTube tags for this video that are relevant and help
with discoverability. Let's hit Enter. Here
we have a list of ten to 15 relevant SEO
friendly YouTube tags to boost our videos discoverability in search and related videos. That is absolutely fantastic. We can copy them and put them in the tags section for our video. Now, as a bonus,
we're going to have a look at finding content gaps. So we're going to say
what related topics or video ideas are people searching for on YouTube
related to the video topic? So we're going to put the
video topic in just here. How to build a website on
Shopper fi. And let's hit Send. So here we have some related
topics and video ideas that people are actively
searching for on YouTube. Shopper fi Themes. We have Best Free Shopper
fi Themes for beginners, comparing premium
and free Shopper Fi themes design and branding, products and inventory, Shopper
fi apps and integrations, marketing and SEO,
technical and advanced, and then we have other
popular video formats. And under each of
these sections, we have some video ideas. So this gives us other
video ideas that are related to the video we
are currently optimizing. Now, if you have
already uploaded and published your
video on YouTube, simply go ahead and open that video and copy
the link to it. Then go back into ChatGPT and we're going to
create a new prompt. Okay, so for this
prompt, I've written R a YouTube SEO expert. Optimize the following YouTube
video with a new title, description, keywords, tags, and any other recommended
improvements. Then I've entered the
YouTube video URL. Let's send that in to
ChatGPT. And here we go. So here is a complete
optimization package tailored for our video. First of all, we have
an optimized title, which is EssioFriendly
and clique worthy. So we have the new title
and why it's better. Then we have a fully optimized video description for
our YouTube video, and the video chapters will be the timestamps
within our video. We'll have to make
them ourselves so that they actually
fit in with the video, and a few other sections
here we could change or remove just to make
sure that it fits in properly to our
video and makes sense. Then we've got a list
of optimized keywords. Fantastic, and also some
optimized tags as well. Which we can copy and paste into the tag section of the video. We also have some recommended additional improvements,
the thumbnail, and we should add
a pinned comment, summarizing the video
with a call to action. And as well as that, we need to make sure that there
is an end screen and cards where we can link to related videos to keep
viewers on our channel. So there we go.
ChatGPT has generated an entire optimization package
for our YouTube video. So YouTube SEO doesn't need
to be a guessing game. ChatGPT gives you a
smart starting point so you can focus
on being creative. That is all for this video. I hope you enjoyed it, and
I'll see you in the next one. Once again, thanks and goodbye.
20. Local SEO Prompts for Small Businesses: Hello, and welcome back. Local SEO is essential for small businesses looking to
stand out in their community. Whether you have a
brick and mortar store or offer local services, ChatGPT can help you improve
your search engine rankings. In this video, we'll
explore how to use ChatGPT to optimize your
business' online presence with local SEO. The first thing
that you can do is create location based keywords. So to do that, we're going
to use this prompt here. I run a business to the
type of business that you run in and then
enter the location. What are the best keywords
for my business in my area? So for this example,
I'm going to say a CAT cafe in San Francisco. So, I run a Cat Cafe
in San Francisco. What are the best keywords
for my business in my area? And then send that
off to ChatGPT. And ChatGPT will now generate relevant keywords based on your location and
type of business, helping you to target
potential customers nearby. So here we have our results. These are Geo targeted for San Francisco. And there we go. We have all of these
keywords that we can use. The next step is to generate a Google My Business
description. Now, what is Google My Business? Quite simply, it's
a profile that businesses can use to
stand out on Google. You can have a quick look here. This is the website for
Google My Business. This is where you can
sign up and get started. It's completely free to use. It's very easy to set up and you can personalize
it for your business. Then when someone types in a location based
search for a business, yours will come up if
your location is searched for. So here we go. Here's some more examples. You can easily reply to customers questions,
respond to reviews, and create posts, offers and events via your Google
My Business profile. So we're going to use ChatGPT to generate a Google My
Business description. And here is the prompt that we're going to use to do that. And we're going to say, write a Google My
Business description for my and then enter the type of business
and your location, include keywords related to my product services
and the local area. So let's type again
Catcaf in San Francisco. And let's hit Enter. Having a highly
optimized description on your Google My
Business profile will help improve your
business' visibility on Google Maps and
search results. And here we go. Here is
a fantastic description that has been generated for
us in a matter of seconds. I'm not going to read
through all of it, but the opening line
is welcome too, and then enter the
name of the cafe. San Francisco's coziest
cat cafe experience. So there we go. That is absolutely fantastic. And there's even a call
to action at the bottom, which is highly recommended
for everyone to have. Book your visit today and
discover why we're one of the most loved cat
cafes in the Bay Area. Next, what we're
going to do is use ChatGPT to suggest
local blog topics. So I have written, What are some blog topics that
I can write about that would attract local customers in San Francisco for my cat cafe. I think I should probably say to my Cats cafe, actually, instead. So then let's hit SEND And ChatGPT will suggest
content ideas that tie into your local
community's interests or needs, which is perfect for
local search traffic. So first of all, we have local
interest and cafe topics. We have five ideas right there. Then we have behind
the scenes and community blog topic ideas, events, tips, and
seasonal content, and there's five ideas for each. So that is absolutely fantastic. Next up, we're going to create local SEO friendly
website content. So the prompt we're going to
use here is can you write SEO optimized copy for the homepage of my Cat Cafe
website in San Francisco? You will just enter
your own business and your business location. And ChatGPT will craft a compelling description that incorporates
local keywords, helping your website to show
up in the search results when people look for
businesses like yours nearby. So here we go. This is what
ChatGPT has generated. We have the
introduction section. Welcome to and then
our cafe's name, San Francisco's coziest
Cat Cafe experience. And it's got some good
puns in there as well. And then why people
should visit our cafe, local favorite in San Francisco, book your visit today and some keyword ideas that can be used naturally
throughout as well. And then at the bottom, you can see it's
even asking us if we want to write
an about page or a menu page or create Google Snippet meta descriptions
for this specific page. So it already knows more things that it can do to help us. But what we are going to do next is build local citations. So we're going to use a
super simple prompt here. What local business
directories can I list my cat cafe website
in San Francisco? I probably don't even
need to write website. So I'll remove
that and hit Send. ChatGPT will now
give us a list of local directories where we can submit our business
for extra visibility. So here are the top local
business directories. Google My Business,
Yelp, Apple Maps, Bing Places, next door, Trip Advisor, Foursquare
and yellow pages. These are the general
business directories which everybody can use
and every business. And then we have the
niche directories for cat cafes and pet
related businesses. And then we have San Francisco and Bay Area specific
directories. Then finally, it's given
us some tips for listing our business on each of
these directories as well. Keep your NAP, which
is your name, address, and phone number
for your business, 100% consistent
across every listing. Use high quality images
relevant to your business. This would show cats, the
cafe interior and drinks, add relevant keywords in
the business description. And ask CAPI visitors
to leave reviews, especially on Google and Yelp. This will massively help to boost your website and business in local based searches that are related
to your business. If someone types in cafe in San Francisco or even more specifically Cat Cafe
in San Francisco, this made up business
that I've created will want to show up highly
in those search results, and this is how
we'll do just that. I will stress it is important to encourage your customers
to leave reviews. A good local reputation can significantly impact your SEO. Optimizing for local SEO, you're ensuring that
potential customers in your area can easily
find your business. There we go. That is
all for this video. I hope you enjoyed
it, and I'll see you in the next one. Goodbye.
21. E Commerce SEO Product Descriptions and Category Pages: EMs SEO is all about making
sure your products and category pages are easily found by customers and search engines. ChatGPT can be a valuable
tool to help you create optimized content
that not only ranks well, but also converts visitors
into paying customers. In this video, we'll explore
how to use ChatGPT to enhance your Ecommerce product
pages and category pages. So first of all, we're
going to use ChatGPT to create SEO optimized
product descriptions. To do that, we're going
to use this prompt here. Write a product description for A and then enter
your product name. That includes the following
keywords and then have a list of the keywords that you want to use
for this product. You should, of
course, already have your keywords before doing this. The tone should be
persuasive, informative, and targeted towards
buyers looking for and then the
product benefits. Now you can always
alter the tone based on your business and
your type of products, but this is an
easy way to start, and then you can alter the
prompt from this base. So we're going to generate
a product description for these sunglasses here. So these are on a
website called SunGod. These are called the Vulcans, and they're part of
the limited edition, McLaren F one Team collection. And I think I will also
enter the product URL. Into the prompt as well. We could actually do
with and without just to see the different types
of results it gives us. But first of all,
I'm going to get the information
from this product. So we now have right a product description for
limited edition sunglasses, Vulcans, part of the McLaren
F one team collection. That includes the
following keywords. We're going to use a
few keywords here, and the tone should be
persuasive, informative, and targeted towards
buyers looking for and then we'll enter some
of the product benefits. So their product description
is actually quite short. Now, because they
have celebrities endorsing these products, they don't need to do much
for them to sell well. So let's see what we have here. So I'm basically picking
out phrases from their current description that
we can use in our prompt. Okay, so I've added
a few keywords here. So we have write a
product description for limited edition sunglasses, Vulcans, part of the McLaren
F one team collection. That includes the
following keywords, limited edition
sunglasses, as worn by Lando Norris and
lifetime guarantee. The tone should be
persuasive, informative, and targeted towards buyers
looking for impact resistant, customizable sunglasses
for cycling, running and water sports. So I think that is
enough to start with, and ChatGPT is going to start generating a description
that incorporates our target keywords and is rotten in a way
that resonates with potential buyers. So here we go. Let's see what it has generated. So we have a headline, two paragraphs that seem to read well based on
a quick glance, some key features, and a call
to action at the bottom, which is absolutely fantastic. So in a matter of seconds, ChatGPT has generated a fantastic product
description that is optimized, uses our keywords and
reads really well. Next up, we're going to be
optimizing category pages. So we're going to
go ahead and create a new chat because I'm going to be using a different
example website, and we're going to
use this prompt here, write an Eiofriendly category
page description for a section of and then enter the product
category on my website, use keywords related to
the product category, and focus on what makes this category stand
out to buyers. And for this example, we're going to be on
this website here, and the category is
gemstone bracelets. And as you can see
at the moment, they have this
short description, and I'm sure they'll have
something else at the bottom, hand made in England. Okay, so that looks good to me. So it's simply going to paste in the product category
in these two places. And go ahead and click Send. This will help us to optimize the category pages
for search engines, improving their visibility, and helping customers easily
navigate our store. So here we have a highly
optimized description for the gemstone
bracelets category page. It's four paragraphs long, and it looks really good to me. You can quickly read
through that if you want. And next up, we're going to be crafting meta descriptions
for product pages. The prompt I have written
for this one is write a compelling meta
description for a product page and then
enter the product name, keep it under 155 characters, include the keyword
and then enter the target keyword and make it appealing to someone searching for and then enter
the product benefits. We are going to pick one of
these gemstone bracelets. Let's see this one here. So
I'll copy the product name. And then we're going to
get the target keyword and then we'll enter some
product benefits as well. I'll be honest, this website
looks like they have done a fantastic job with the
descriptions for their products. But we'll still go ahead and use ChatGPT just so you
can see an example. To be honest, I
think the keyword pretty much is the product name. So I'm going to enter that
again for the target keyword. I might just remove blue as
that's not really needed. Okay, and then some
product benefits. I'm just going to
use this phrase here as that sounds quite nice. So we have our prompt. Now we're going
to click Send and instantly is giving us
our meta description. Add natural elegance
to your look with our rough sapphire
with silver discs, bracelet, a distinctive piece that celebrates raw
sapphire beauty. So there we go. The
meta description has been generated in seconds. The meta description
is important because it shows up
in search results, so it needs to be
concise and compelling. Next up, we're going to
create product FAQs. Now we can do this
really easily because ChatGPT already knows
about our product. So what we're going to do
is say generate a list of frequently asked questions for and instead of entering
the product name, I'm going to say my product. Include answers that are informative and
relevant to buyers, highlighting the product
features and benefits. Adding FAQs can improve
user experience and provide more opportunities to rank in search engines for
long tail keywords. And here we go. So
ChatGPT has generated a list of frequently asked
questions for our product. So, for example, what
materials are used in the rough sapphire with
Silver discs bracelet? And then it answers
that question. I will just say it's quite important that you
double check all of these to make sure
that they are factually correct before putting
them on your website. But this has saved
you a load of time. Is the bracelet adjustable? Can I wear the bracelet daily? Is it a good gift option? Do the sapphires have
any symbolic meaning? And where are the
gemstones sourced from? Now, of course,
for your products, you'll be able to
make sure all of these questions and answers
are factually correct. And I will stress it is highly
important that you do so. Finally, what we're
going to do is add product reviews
and testimonials. So we're going to ask
ChatGPT how we can best get product reviews
from our customers. So this is the prompt that
I'm going to use for that. How can I ask customers for product reviews in a way that's
likely to get responses. Write a friendly, engaging message encouraging
buyers to leave a review. Reviews are massively important, especially positive
reviews, as they help build trust and contribute to higher
search engine rankings. So this can be an
automated message that goes out to customers when
they purchase our product, or even a few days after
they've received it. So we have high customer's name. We hope you're loving
your new rough sapphire with silver discs bracelet. We'd be thrilled
if you could take a moment to share your thoughts. And then they've
added a few questions to ask the customer as well. Every bit of feedback
makes a difference, and we truly appreciate
your support. And then you could
add a link for where they could leave a review. Thank you for being
a part of our story. And then ChatGPT
can also generate a tailored version
for text messages, packaging inserts
or social media. I like the packaging
inserts option because you could
add a little card in with a customer's order, asking them to leave
a review or even with a discount
code that they will receive if they leave a review. It is completely up to you. As an extra bonus tip, I will say that you
should make sure your images are
also SEO-friendly. Use descriptive file names and image old text to improve
image search visibility. So there we go. That
is all for this video. By optimizing
product descriptions and category pages
with SEO in mind, you'll increase your
chances of showing up in search results
and driving more sales. I hope you enjoyed this video and I'll see you
in the next one. Thanks and goodbye.
22. Using ChatGPT with Google Sheets or Notion: Hello, and welcome back. In this video,
we're going to take our SEO Workflow to the
next level by integrating ChatGPT with productivity tools like Google Sheets and Notion. This combination will help
you organize your SEO tasks, automate processes, and
maintain a seamless workflow. So let's see how we
can make ChatGPT even more powerful
using these tools. So first of all,
we're going to use ChatGPT with Google Sheets. Google Sheets is a great tool for organizing and
analyzing data, and you can use it to streamline your SEO tasks by
connecting it with ChatGPT. So here's an example.
Let's say you want to generate a list of keywords
and track their performance. You can start by creating a Google sheet with
columns like keyword, search volume, competition
level, and relevance score. Now you can use ChatGPT to populate this sheet
with ideas and data. For example, you could
use a prompt like this. Generate a list of ten long tail keywords
related to your main keyword, include the search volume, competition level, and relevance
score for each keyword. So I've entered golf for
beginners as my main keyword, as this is just an example, so let's clickend
And here we go. So we've got the keyword,
all generated down here, the search volume, the
competition, and the relevance. Now, it is very important
to remember that this is an estimated monthly search
volume and competition level. However, there is also a
relevance score there as well, which is pretty
accurate, in my opinion. Then it's told us how
these were chosen. Along with some insights and finally some
strategy tips as well. So let's go ahead and
copy this by clicking the copy table icon
at the top up here. And it seems I didn't even
need to add these headings. So if I delete these,
theoretically, if I just paste
this, there we go. It will automatically
fill the columns. Now, I would suggest using a specific keyword
research tool for the search volume and
competition data because ChatGPT isn't really likely
to get this super accurate. Now, we can actually
convert this to a table, so let's click that, and you can see this looks
much, much better. So that looks
absolutely fantastic. Now we can actually view our data in a nice
looking table. So once ChatGPT
provides the list, you can manually
input the data into your Google Sheet by simply copying and pasting
it like I have done here. With ChatGPT's assistance,
you can quickly build a comprehensive
keyword research database. Now, I do highly recommend
entering these keywords into a keyword research tool to get more accurate volume
and competition data. But for now, this is
a very good start. We can also use
ChatGPT with Notion. Notion is an amazing tool for organizing all of
your SEO tasks, content calendars, and project
tracking all in one place. Can integrate
ChatGPT with Notion to create a more structured
content planning system. Let's say, for
example, you want to plan out a content calendar. In Notion, you can easily create a table with columns
like the content title, the target keyword, the date you want to
publish that post. You can enter in the
meta descriptions and title and you can also
add additional keywords. You could add any
columns that you want, but these are ones
that I think would be a good idea for a blog
post content calendar. Let's go back to
ChatGPT and we can fill in all of this information
using one simple prompt. So here is the prompt. It says, generate
a content calendar for the next month
on the topic of, and that's where you will
enter your main keyword. Include post ideas,
target keywords, suggested publishing
dates, meta title, meta description, and
additional keywords for each. So then I'm going to use the same keyword as I did up
here, golf for beginners. And let's hit Send. And here we go. So
it is generating an entire content
calendar for July, based on our main keyword, which was golf for beginners. So here we have our blog post
ideas, the target keywords, meta title, meta description, and also additional
keywords as well. And it's also given us dates
that we could publish them. Let's go ahead and copy
this table and it's not going to work too
well pasting it into this table because
I've already created it. But if I just click down here
and paste it in down here, we can see it will automatically
create a table for us with all of the
content that's generated. Now we can go ahead and delete this first column because we don't really
need them numbered. And now we have the
published date, blog post idea, target keyword, meta title and description, and additional keywords
all in a nice table. There we go, we generated an entire content calendar
in just a matter of seconds. Now, this draft table I created, I might as well go
ahead and delete. And there we go. We have our content calendar
within Notion. The power of combining
ChatGPT with productivity tools is not
only that it saves time, but it also ensures that
your SEO work is more organized, consistent,
and scalable. Whether you're managing
keyword lists, content calendars or
ongoing optimization tasks, these tools and
integrations will make your SEO workflow more
efficient and automated. There we go. I hope you enjoyed this video and I hope you
learned something new. I'll see you in the next one. Once again, thanks and goodbye.
23. Class Project: For your class project,
you will create a simple SEO optimized blog post using ChatGPT.
Here's what to do. Use ChatGPT to
generate a list of keyword ideas for a
topic of your choice. Step two, choose one main
keyword and a few related ones. Use ChatGPT to outline and write a blog post, 4-600 words. Step four, add a title and meta description using
ChatGPT prompts. And finally, step five,
this is optional, but share your post with us and tell us about your process. This project will help
you practice what you've learned while creating
something you can actually use. You can upload your final blog
post or screenshots along with a few sentences about
how ChatGPT has helped you. That is all for the project. I hope you enjoy
it, and goodbye.
