1. Introduction: Hi there. Welcome to this new course on Chat GPT Command Prompt Engineering. So as the name suggests, this course completely focuses on prompt engineering. And in this introductory video, we'll be taking a look at what is prompt engineering? Why do we need it? What are the various things that hat GPT can do? And in the end, I'll be giving you a summary or the table of contents of what we'll see in this course. So let's dive right into the course and see what lies ahead. Okay, now let's start from the basics. What is prompt engineering and why do we need it? Well prompt Engineering is just a fancy name for communicating with AI. So you're just basically talking to the artificial intelligence or specifically hA GPT, in our case, about the needs or tasks that you want HA GPT to perform. So now, why is prompt engineering important? Well, I would put it this way. HAGPT has all the answers. But in order to get the answer that you want or in order to get the specific task done by hat GPT that you want, you have to ask JATGPT in a specific way, or in other words, you have to structure your command prompts in a way that JatGPT gives you those right answers or do your task. So that is the main importance of prompt engineering. You have to ask the right questions or you have to give the right proms in order to get the right answers or in order to get your task done. And now with the right prompts, let me show you what all you can do with hat GPT. Now, the first thing on my list to show you would be that if you craft your command proms very well, you can use ATGPT to write the codes for any programming language, whether it be Python, whether it be R programming, C plus plus, C, or whatever language that you prefer. And that's an amazing use, right? And if you're someone who uses coding language to get their job done, then hatGPT can help you. And now moving on the next amazing thing that Cha GBT can do is to compose music. So with the right command prompt, you can actually generate new music, and also you can ask JATGPT to give the codes for a particular instrument that you play. It can be violin, it can be guitar, or it can be a piano and so on. And that's a really out of the box thing that Chat GBD can do, right? And now moving on to the next thing that hat GBD can do with the right prompts, as you can see on the screen, hat GPT can make excellent PowerPoint presentation. Now I've shown on the screen a PowerPoint presentation that I made using hat GPD, and it's called Stock Market for beginners and introduction to investing in the stock market. And you can see that the slides are above average if not too good. So this would be a really good use case of Chat GPD, and that would be to create PowerPoint presentations for you. Now, those are the few examples that I wanted you to see in order to understand how powerful command prompt engineering is because without the right prompt, you cannot do all these things that I just showed. And now let me list out a few more things what HAGBT can do. You can see that HA GPT can write a book. It can write essays for you and you can ask JGBT to improve the vocabulary or add idioms and so on for your essays. And on the third point, you can see that HAGPT can help you with social media content creation, whether it be YouTube, Instagram, and so on. So it can guide you to create quality contents for your social media platform. And on the fourth point, you can see that if you're a student, it would help you with your assignments, homeworks, and if you're doing your master's or your PhD, it can help you with your research. And lastly, on the list, I have planning. If you ask TAT GPT in the right way, Chat GPT can help you with workout routines, study plans, diet plans, and so on. And I believe that you got the idea of what Chat GPT is capable of. Now let me finally give you an example of why command prompt engineering is important. Now let's take a look at the example of writing a Imagine that I went into HAGPD and I typed this prom that you see on the screen, write a book on the stock market, and you can see that ChaGPT would not give you the book, obviously, because CHA GPT has its own limitations. So what a normal person would do is that they would see this and they would conclude that HAGPT cannot write a book. Well, that's not the case. You have to be more creative and you have to use your command prompting skills in order to make HAGPT write the book. You can see that TajiVt has told me writing a book on stock market is a significant endeavor that requires thorough research, clear structure, and an understanding of your target audience. Here's a general outline to get you started, and you can see that it has given me an outline, but it did not give me a book. So what prompting technique am I going to use to write this well, no, as you can see on the screen, the first thing that I would do is that I'll be copying and pasting the first section, which is the title and subtitle. So that's where you start, right? You won a title and subtitle for the book. I'll be copying that first part which Chad GPT gave me, and I'll be pasting that into the command prompt section of AGBT, and I'll be telling Chad GPT to do that task. So you can see that Chad GPT has given me a great headline, and Chad GPT has given me a subtitle for my book. And next what I'll be doing is that I'll be going back. I'll be copying the next section, which is the introduction to the book, and I'll be pacing it again and ask Jad GPT to write the introduction. And I'll do this again and again. I'll go back. I'll take the next section, copy paste, and I'll ask Ja GBD to write the third section, fourth section, and so on. And that's all the command prompting trick to write a book. Well, now, I believe that this example gave you an idea of why you should be creative and what is the importance of command prompt engineering. Anyone can type or ask questions to hat GPD but you have to be creative in crafting the right proms in order to get the right answers or in order to get your task done. Now let's move on to the final slide, and you can see, these are the table of contents. So if someone were to ask me, what will I learn from this course, these are the things that you'll be taking a look at in the course. So first, we'll take a look at the introduction to chat GPT, and after the introduction section, we'll lay our foundations in the section called Prom foundations. And after that, we'll be taking a look at different techniques of command prompt engineering. I really hope you're excited for this course. And by that, let me wrap up this video, and I'll be seeing you in the course. 2. Limitations: Hi there. Welcome to another video of this course. Now, in this video, we're going to take a look at limitations of hat GPT. Now, since hat GPT is a new innovation and a new product in the market, it definitely is going to have a lot of limitations. But in this video, we are going to talk about three main limitations of hat GPT. Now, as I've shown on the screen, the first limitation of hat GPT is HAGPT doesn't give real time information. So what do I mean by saying that JA GBT doesn't give real time information? Well, now, as you can see on the screen, I've asked the free model, which is the HAGPT 3.5, as well as the paid model, which is the HAT GPT four model, that what is their knowledge cutoff? And you can see that HA GPT 3.5 has answered. My knowledge is based on information available up to January 2022. And CHA GPT four has replied that the cutoff date for my training data is April 2023. So what this means is that CHA GPT is a machine learning model, and it has been trained with a huge chunk of data. But there is a specific cutoff limit for that data, and you can see for the 3.5, it's January 2022, and for the model Cha GPT four, it is April 2023. So the thing is this, if you're asking the model 3.5 about anything that happened after January 2022, it is not going to know, right? Because that is the cutoff date for its training. And that is actually the primary limitation of HAT GPT. There is no point in asking questions related to the things that happened after the cutoff date of its knowledge. So I hope you understood this concept, and as I've shown on the screen, this is for the HA GPT 3.5 moto. I've asked JATGPD what is the current price of Bitcoin? And you can see that HA GPT says, I'm sorry, but I'm not able to provide the real time information or browse the Internet, including accessing current prices of cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin. Cryptocurrency prices can fluctuate rapidly, and it's best to check a reliable financial news website or a cryptocurrency exchange. So this is the limitation that I'm talking about. You cannot ask HAGPT anything beyond its training date. Now you might be wondering, how do I overcome this limitation of HA GPT? Well, I have a few solutions for this, and the first solution is to buy the premium version of HAT GPT, which is the GPD four mode. And as you can see on the screen, even though the cutoff date of HA GPT four model is April 2023, the premium version has a feature called browsing the Internet. So what that would do is that when you ask a particular question which is related to real time, JA JBT is going to browse the web and it's going to find the information online, and it's going to tell you. So that is what I've shown on the screen. You can see that I've asked, what is the current price of Bitcoin? And you can see on the left image, Ja JBT is browsing the web and on the right image, Ja JBT has browsed the web and given me the data. The current price of Bitcoin is so and so. So that is one way in which you can solve the issue of real time information. And the second way that I would suggest to you is to use a different AI tool called Bard, which is a tool of Google. Now, the specialty of this artificial intelligence tool called Bard is that it is having real time information. So it would simply be a replacement for this limitation of chat GPT of real time information. So if you want to use hat GPT, but you're facing the limitation of real time information, just switch to Bard and Bard would give you the real time information. Now let's move on and take a look at the second limitation of chat GPT. Now, the second limitation of hat GBT is called JatGBT hallucinations. So what are hat GBT hallucinations? Basically, this is just a big term to say that Chat GPT might give you wrong answers. And there are actually four different ways in which Chat GPT can give you wrong answers. And as I've listed on the screen, those are factual inaccuracies, logical inconsistencies, nonsensical responses, and lastly, invended information. So let us take a look at them one by one very quickly and see what these are now, as you can see on the screen, I have two examples of factual inaccuracy hallucinations of Cha GVT. And the first example reads like this. Imagine that the user asked JAGPT who invented the telephone? And sometimes and not always hATGPT can give you this answer. The telephone was invented by Thomas Edison in 18 76. Well, that is a wrong answer, right? Actually, Alexander Graham Bell invented the telephone. So ha GVT can give you factually inaccurate answers like this. And let me quickly go through the second example and the second example reads like this. The user gives the prompt who wrote to kill a mocking bird? And ChaGBD responded, Ernst Hemingway wrote to kill a mocking bird. Well, the actual person who wrote that book is Arpur Lee. So these are two examples of actual inaccuracies that hadGPD can give you. Now let's take a look at the second type of hallucinations, and those are the logical inconsistencies. And as previously, I have two examples for you, and the first example reads like this. The user asks, Is an elephant bigger than a mouse? Well, now Cha GPT might give you an answer like this. Yes, an elephant is bigger than a mouse. But after some time, Cha GPT might say it the other way. It might state that a mouse is larger than an elephant, and you have two different statements by Cha GPT, which are contradicting each other. And that is one example of logical inconsistencies, and let's move on to the second example. The user asks, what is the boiling point of water, and JagiPT might say, the boiling point of water is 100 degrees Celsius at sea level. But after some time, haGiPT might forget that and it might say, the boiling point of water is 120 degrees Celsius. So these are two examples of logical inconsistency hallucinations by Cha GPT. Now let's move on to the next type of hallucinations, and these are called nonsensical responses. And as usual, I have two examples, and the first example reads like this. How do I change a car tire? And Ja JBT is giving a completely nonsensical response, and it reads like this. To change a car tire, you must first plant a tree and wait for it to grow fully. And the second example reads like this. The user asks, How do I bake a bread? And you can see that ha Gibt has responded again a nonsensical answer. To bake bread, first teach a fish how to swim, then wait for a full moon. So you can see that these are completely unrelated nonsensical answers, and ajibit might give you these kinds of answers. Now moving on, lastly, you have the invented information type of hallucination. And let's take a look at the examples to understand this. And as you can see on the screen, the user tells, tell me about the battle of Albania, and Jagivit answers. The battle of Albania was a major conflict in 18 42, where the forces of King Charles defeated the Rebels. So you can see that in brackets, I've written in history, there has never been a battle like that or a king like that. So JagiVt is inventing a new information and giving you that information. Moving on to the second example, tell me about the famous painter Bob Rossini, and you can see that Chad GiPT has responded Bob Rossini was a renowned 17th century Italian painter known for his landscape masterpiece. So you can see that in brackets I've written, there is no historically recognized painter by this name. So these are invended information by Cha Gipt and Cha JiPT might give you these kinds of information occasionally. So these four things fall under the Cha JiPit hallucinations limitation. So what can you actually do to overcome this type of limitations where Chad GPT hallucinates? There are two options for you. The first option fact check everything that Chat GPT gives you. Go to Google, try to find out articles which supports what CHA GPD says, and do research like that in order to confirm the veracity of the information that Chat GBD gives you. And secondly, you have to note that hat GBT four model is highly accurate compared to the Chat GBD 3.5 model. So the second option would be to upgrade your CHAT GPT plan to the hat GPT four model. So these are the two options that you have in order to overcome this limitation of hat GPT. Now let's move on to the final limitation of hat GPT, and the final limitation of hat GPT is of privacy concerns. So the thing about this information is that you shouldn't give sensitive information to Chat GPT. So, for example, imagine that you're creating a resume. Try to not give out your name to hat GPT. Try to not give out your phone number, your email address, or your address or those kinds of things to hat GPD. Also, try to not give out more sensitive information such as bank account, credit card, and all those kinds of things. And if you're working in a firm, try to not give out sensitive information of that commitee into hat GPT. So basically, try to not give out sensitive information to hat GPT. So these are the three primary limitations of hat GPT. I hope you like this video, and by that, let me wrap up this video, and I'll be seeing you in the next video. 3. Basic Prompting Techniques: Hi there. Welcome to another section of this course. Now, in this section, we'll be officially taking our first step into command prompt engineering, and that's the reason why I have named this section as prompt foundations. So under this section, we'll be dealing with three different kinds of prompting techniques, and I have divided these three techniques into three different videos. So the first technique that we'll be taking a look at is called the basic prompt techniques. And the second type of techniques that we'll be taking a look at are called structure and sequential prompting techniques. And lastly, we'll be taking a look at a technique called context specific prompting. So I hope you're excited to learn all about command prompt engineering. And without further ado, let's step right into the course and learn more about prompt foundations. As I mentioned, in this video, we'll be particularly taking a look at a prom technique called basic prom techniques. Now, under the basic prom techniques, you have three different types of prompting techniques, and those are the zero short prompts, the one short proms and the few short proms. So let's learn what these types of proms are in a step by step manner. Now, as you can see on the screen, we'll be taking a look at zero short proms. So what are zero short proms? These are basically just straightforward tasks or questions that you're giving chat GPT to answer. So this is the basic of the most basic command prompt that we'll be taking a look at, and anyone who just signed up into hat GPT just to figure out what chat GPT is, you'll be using this type of proms called zero short proms unknowingly. So let's understand what zero short proms are with a few examples. And now, as you can see on the screen, these are few examples of zero short proms. Basically, what you're doing over here is that you're just asking CHA GPT a question, and that's it. If that's all you're doing, it's called a zero short prompt. And you can see that the first example reads like this. What is the capital of Australia? And moving on to the second example, the second example reads like this. What is the boiling point of water? And finally, you have the example of colors, list three primary colors. So what I did is that I went to hat GPT, and you can see that I've typed out these proms into hat GPT, and Ja JBT just gave me these responses. So this is the basic definition of a zero short prompt. You're just typing some question or some task, and that's it. Now, if you still didn't understand what a zero short prompt is we'll move into the next type of proms and in the end, we'll compare all the type of proms and it would definitely make you understand what zero short proms are. And by that note, let's move on to the next type of command prompt. And the next type of basic command prompt that we're going to take a look at is called one shot proms. So what are these one shot proms? Basically, these are the proms that would allow you to provide one example to guide hat GPT's response. So over here, the basic definition is that you're giving Chat GPT an example in order to guide its response. And to make this point much more clearer to you, let me give you a few examples. And as you can see on the screen, the first example reads like this in the style of a tweet, announce a new scientific discovery about Mars. Researchers have found evidence of water on Mars. So over here, you're giving Chat GPT a command prompt and you're asking Chat GPT or you're guiding chat GPT in order to give the response in the style of a tweet. So you are actually guiding Chat GPT in order to respond in a particular way. So that is the idea of one shot prompts, you're guiding Chat GPT to respond in a particular manner that you want. Now moving on to the second example, the second example reads like in a bullet point format, list the benefits of regular exercise. Regular exercise is beneficial for health. So over here too, you are giving Chat GPT a guidance of wanting the response in a bullet point format. And that's the reason why this would fall under one shot prompts. Now moving on to the final example, the final example reads like this. Write a metaphor about time. Time is like a river that flows endlessly. Now, in this final example, too, you are guiding Cha GPT to give the response in a particular manner that you want, which is in the form of a metaphor. And that's what one shot proms are all about. So if you're taking the zero shot proms and the one shot proms and comparing them, in the zero shot proms, you did not guide the AI. You just directly asked a particular question or you just ask JAGPT to do a particular task. But in the one shot proms, you're giving an example and you're guiding Chat GPT to give the response in a particular manner. And now, as you can see on the screen, I've typed these examples into hat GPT, and these are the responses that Chat GPT gave me. I hope you enjoyed these responses, and I hope you will be going into hat GPT and trying out these examples yourselves and see what Chat GBT gives you. Now, by that, let's move on to the last type of command prompt that we'll be taking a look at in this video, and the last type of command prompt are called the few short proms. So over here, you're actually going a bit further into the advanced level of hat GPT prompt engineering. And as you can see on the screen, in this type of command prompt, you're giving more and more examples to chat GPT, and that would guide hat GPT into giving a response in the way you want. Now, I'm pretty sure that this concept of few shot prompts are not clear to you, so I'll be showing you how to use these kinds of few shot proms in an effective manner. This is a kind of advanced level prompting, and by the end of this video, you'll be learning about this interesting type of prompts. As you can see on the screen, you can use the few short proms in order to customize your emails in order to write a book. So I'll be showing you one example of email customization, and it would definitely make the idea of few short proms clearer to you. So let us take a look at the example. Imagine that I'm a working professional and I have to write a lot of emails daily. What I can do is that I can give had GPT my way of writing emails and ask JAD GPT to learn my style of writing. And in the end, you can ask JA GPT to write an email just with one prompt in your style of writing. So consider these two emails and imagine that these two emails are the ones that I frequently write. And if you want, you can use more than two emails, maybe three or five emails. And what we are going to do is that firstly, we are going to type out this command prompt into chat GPT. Let me read out the command prompt to you, and it reads like this. Hi chat GPT. I will copy and paste the emails that I usually write. Learn my style of writing and use my style to write emails when prompted. So the DA is basically symbol. You're asking Chat GPT to learn your style, and whenever you prompted to write an email, use that style to write an email. And now, as you can see on the screen, I've typed out this prompt into hat GPT, and this is a response that hat GPT gave me. Sure, I can help with that. Please go ahead and share the emails you typically write. Once I review them, I'll be able to mimic your style for future email writing tasks. And by that, ha GPT is ready to take the inputs of your email, and you can see that I've copied and pasted the two emails that I previously showed you, and you can see that after copying and pasting those two emails that I showed you, Cha GBT gave this response. Thank you for sharing these examples. Based on these emails, your writing style is formal, polite. And well structured. You tend to start with a courteous greeting expressing hope for the recipient's well being. Your requests or follow ups are clear and direct, often referencing previous communications for context. You also tend to emphasize your enthusiasm and readiness to provide additional information or engage in further discussion. Lastly, you conclude with a note of gratitude and a polite sign off. Use this style when writing emails for you in the future. If you have any specific nuances or preferences in your writing style that you would like me to incorporate, please let me know. So if you want Chat GPT to specifically take a particular characteristic of your email, you can again write it down. And after doing all these things, imagine that you want to write an email. All you have to do is just come to this chat and type into hat GPT. Cha GPT, I want an email for so and so purposes, say for a client who wants to know about your investment performance and so on. So what hA JBT is going to do is that with just that command prompt, hA GPT is going to generate an entire email for you. And that would definitely take a heavy burden off you to write an email again and again, right? So that was one of the tricks of few shot prompting. Now, this is not the only way you can use few shot promptings, okay? As I mentioned, this is just one example of email now you can use it to write a book or do something in a particular manner just by giving Chat GPT a lot of examples and asking Chat GPT to learn that method. So that's a trick of short prompting. And now to summarize, we took a look at zero shot prompting, where we just directly ask hat GPT without giving any guidance or examples. And in the one shot prompting case, we gave Cha GPT one particular example to guide Cha GIVT's response. And finally, in the few short prompting, we gave more than one example, say, a couple of your emails, and you're asking Cha GBT to learn from all those examples that you're giving it and to do a particular task in the end. And that's all about Pmt foundations. You are ready to take the next step into advanced prompting techniques, and I'll be coming up with more techniques in the coming videos, and I'll be seeing you over there. 4. Structure & Sequential Prompting: Hi there. Welcome back to the second video of this section. Now in this section, we'll be taking a look at structure and sequential prompting. And under this video of structure and sequential prompting, we'll be taking a look at three different types of prompts, and they are chain of thought prompts, tableau prompts, and fill in the blank prompts. So let's dive right into the video and see what these proms are. Now the first prom that we're going to take a look at is the chain of thought proms. And as you can see on the screen, these are the prompts that guide the AI in developing a more detailed and well structured response, which are usually in the form of a logical progression or an argument. And now, in order to understand these kinds of prawns, let us take a look at a few examples. Now, as you can see on the screen, I have three examples for the kinds of prawns that fall under the chain of thought proms. And the first example is explain how a bill becomes a law in the United States in a step by step manner. And the second example is describe the water cycle in a step by step manner. And lastly, you have explained how to bake a cake in a step by step manner. Now if you are good at figuring patterns out, you might have noticed one thing which is common in three of these examples. Now, that common thing in these three examples is that I've used the phrase step by step manner in three of them. So that is the trick behind chain of thought proms. When you want something in a step by step manner, you use the chain of thought proms. And I've taken three different specific examples that covers the law or you can even include that under economics. And secondly, I've taken the example of a water cycle which comes under scientific step by step progression. And lastly, I've taken the example of baking a cake that would fall under a hobby or a side hustle. Now, as you can see on the screen, this is how the response that Chat GPT would give you after typing in those proms. So I hope this idea of chain of thought proms is clear to you, and let's move on to the next type of proms in this video, and the next type of proms are the table proms. And as you can see the definition, let me read it out for you. These are the proms that enable the AI to structure information in a table format. So these are the proms that I use when you need a type of comparison or when you need something to be organized in a tablear format. So now, in order to give you the best examples, I have three of them for you, and the first example reads like this, create a table comparing the nutritional values of an apple and a banana. The second example of a tablearPm read like this, create a table comparing the features of iPhone 12 and Samsung Galaxy S 21. And the last example reads like this, create a workout routine or a diet plan as you wish for a week in a tbar format. And now let me type these three examples in for you into the hat GPT command prompt. And as you can see on the screen, these are the expected responses that Chat GPT gave me, and as you can see, they are well organized in a tbar format. So if you want something in a tbar format, whether it be comparison or whether it be a workout routine in a tbar format, try to use the command proms that fall under the tableau proms. Now let's move on to the last and final type of proms that we'll be seeing in this video. And those are the fill in the blank proms. Now, as you can see on the screen, these are the types of proms which involve the chat GPT to complete a sentence or an idea based on a context. And as usual, let us take a look at three of the examples that I have in store for you, and the first one reads like this. In the phrase when in row, and you give a blank space for chat GPT to fill in that empty area. And the second example goes like this, finish this phrase commonly used in economics. There is no such thing as a free dash. So that is the space where Cha JBT has to fill. And lastly, you have complete the environmental slogan, reduce, reuse and dash. And that, again, is the place where we want Cha GBT to fill in. And as you can see on the screen, I've tied these three examples into Chat GPT, and ChaGBT has given me responses, and these are the correct responses that ChaGBT has given me. So these are the fill in the blank type of prompts when you need Cha GBT to fill in the blanks. And by that we'll be concluding this video. I hope you like the three proms that we discussed in this video. And in the next video, we'll be taking a look at more prompting techniques, and I will be seeing you over there. 5. Context Specific Prompting: Hi there. Welcome to another video of this section. Now, in this video, we are going to take a look at context specific prompting. Now, under the context specific prompting, we have three different types of command proms. And those are the perspective proms, the constructive critic proms, and lastly, you have the comparative proms. So these are the proms that we're going to focus on in this video, and without further delay, let's dive right into the first one. And the first one, as I mentioned, was the perspective proms. And as I've written on the screen, using perspective proms would enable Chat GPT to take specific viewpoints, and it would help Chat GPT to give diverse and interesting responses. Now, to make you understand what perspective proms are, let us take a look at examples. Now, the first example that I have in store for you reads like this. Imagine you are a historical book in a library. Describe your surroundings and feelings. The second example goes like this. If you are a raindrop, describe your journey from the sky to the ground. And lastly, you have the example of a shoes, and it reads like this. Imagine you are a pair of running shoes. Describe a morning jog. So you can see that what's common in these three examples is that you are telling ChaGPT to take a particular perspective and speak from that viewpoint. And that's the basic gist behind perspective proms. And you can see that I've typed these proms into Cha GPT, and Cha JBT has given me responses, and these are really interesting responses, and I hope you like them. And if you want to try it out yourself, head to hat GPT and just type these proms and you're going to get creative responses from Chat GPT. Now let's move on to the second type of proms of this video, and those are the constructive critic proms. Now, as I've written on the screen, you use these kinds of constructive critic proms when you want criticisms or if you want suggestions from Chat GPT, whether something that you have done is right or wrong, or if you could do the task in a better manner. And now, as you can see on the screen, we have three examples as always, and the first example reads like this. Critique this resume bullet point. Did many tasks in my previous job. So that is a bullet point that you want to write in your resume, and you're asking Cha GPT, is this a good bullet point to write on my resume? Now, moving on to the second example and the second example reads like this, evaluate the effectiveness of the speech opening for engaging an audience. Hello, everyone. Today, I'm going to talk about history. So you're asking Cha GPT whether this is a good opening for a speech. And moving on to the final example, the example reads like this. Evaluate this email sign off for professionalism. See you later. So you want to evaluate whether this is a professional sign off for your email. And now, as I've shown on the screen, I've typed these command proms into hat GPT, and ha GBT has given me these responses. Now you can go through these responses, and if you want to type it out in hat GPT, feel free to do it and see what hat GBT is going to give you. And by that, let's move on to the next type of command proms and the final type of command proms that we are going to take a look at in this video are the comparative proms. And as I've shown on the screen, these are the proms that would help Cha GPD to analyze similarities or differences between items or concepts. And in the end, it would help you to understand stuff in detail. That is the crux behind comparative prompt. You're asking Chat GPD to compare two different things, and comparison is one of the methods to study about two different things, right? So let's take a look at few examples to understand this concept. And the first example reads like this, compare the economic systems of capitalism and socialism. So I think the example is pretty clear. You have capitalism and socialism, and you want CHAT GPT to compare the economic systems of capitalism and socialism. Now let's move on to the second type of example, and the second example reads like this. Compare the functions of the heart and lungs in the human body. And that example is also pretty self explanatory. And lastly, you have the example of music. Contrast classical music with rock music. So, in essence, what you're doing is that in comparative proms, you are comparing two or more different things and you want to understand them in a better manner. And now I've typed these proms into ha JBT, and this is the result what had GBT gave me. So this is one way of studying, and that is to use comparative proms and by that, we'll be concluding this video, and I'll be coming up with more techniques in the coming sections, and I'll see you over there. 6. Creativity & Conceptual Techniques: Hi, there, welcome to another section of this course. Now, in this section, we are going to take a look at language and communication proms. So this is by far, one of the best sections that I have in store for you, and I hope you won't miss this section. Now, in this section, we are going to take a look at three different techniques of command proms. And the first technique is called creativity and conceptual understanding technique. And the second technique is called language translation and transformation technique. Lastly, you have the audience and evaluation techniques. So these are the three different types of techniques that we are going to see in the three videos of this section. Now, this being the first video, we are going to take a look at creativity and conceptual understanding techniques. Now, under this creativity and conceptual understanding techniques, we have three different kinds of command proms, and those are the brainstorming proms, the inference and deduction proms. And lastly, you have analogy and metaphor proms. So these are the three different proms we are going to take a look at in this video. So let's get our feet wet by taking a look at the first type of command prompts, and those are the brainstorming proms. So what are these brainstorming proms? Well, these are the proms that would help you to use hat GPT in a creative way to generate a wide array of ideas or solutions for a particular problem. And I believe that the best way to understand something is to take a look at example so let's take a peep at few examples in order to understand these brainstorming proms. So the first way that we can use these kinds of brainstorming proms would be to find a title for your book or for your course for your project, and so on. So if you want to find out a title for a specific thing that you have, what you can do is that you can ask JADGPT to generate a wide range of titles for a book, course or project, or whatever you want a title for. And JATGPT is going to suggest a lot of names for you and you just have to pick the best from that which you like. So now, as you can see on the screen, imagine a scenario where I want to create a course on Instagram marketing. So I'm asking Cha GPT to give me titles for the course. So you can see that I've typed this prompt into hat GBT, and I've typed Hi. I'm creating an online course on Instagram marketing. I want ideas for title, give me ten titles. So you can see that ha JBT has given me around ten titles. If I don't like these ten titles, what I can do is that I can ask Ja GPT to generate more titles and more ideas for headlines, and I can keep on doing this until I find the best title for my online course. So that is the first trick or the first use for these kind brainstorming prompts. We can use it to generate titles. Now let's move on to the next few examples, and the second example reads like this, Ida different approaches to teaching history in a more engaging way. And let me also read out the last example for you, and it reads like this generate ideas for a mobile app that could help students with their studies. So in these two examples, you can see that in the first case, I am trying to generate teaching approaches for making history engaging to students. And in the second case, I want different ideas for a mobile app, and I will read through all the ideas and I will take the best ideas out of it. So that's what technically brainstorming means. Over here, you're just making chat GPT do the work. And you can see that I've typed these two examples into hat GPT, and these are the results that HAGBD gave me. You can go through these responses that ChaGPT gave me, and if you want to try it out yourself, head down to JatGPT and search it in the command prompt of hat GPT and see what the results are. And by that, let's move on to the next kind of prompts that we'll be looking in this video. And the next type of proms are the inference and deduction proms. So what are these inference and deduction proms? So basically, these are the proms where you want hat GPT to detect or infer something from a provided fact. And the basic idea is that you're giving Chat GPT something, maybe a paragraph, an essay, or whatever you want, and you're asking Chat GPT to infer the summary or detect something from those paragraphs or essays that you have uploaded in chat GPT. And to make you understand these proms clearer, let's take a look at a few examples. Now the first example reads like this, deduce the problems that customers face and provide solutions for the same. And I'm asking Chat GPT to give me the problems what customers are facing, and I want solutions for those problems. So let's take a look at how this is done, right? Now, as you can see on the screen, I have few customer reviews for a particular product. And just for the sake of demonstration, I have only gathered seven particular reviews for this example, and you can see that I've listed them out in MSXO. What I'm going to do is that I'm going to copy and paste these reviews into hat GPT. Now, as you can see on the screen, I have copied and pasted this into hat GPT, and I just have to click on that arrow icon for it to be uploaded into hat GPT. Now one thing that you can note over here is that when I copied a structure data which was arranged in columns and rows in a very well manner in MSX so, what I did was I copied and pasted it over here, and now it looks very untidy. It clearly is untidy, right? You can see that it is unorganized and it doesn't look good. So the first thing that I'm going to do over here is to ask Ja GBT to arrange or structure this data in a very beautiful manner. So you can see that I have given the prompt, reorganize this data in a tbar format. So you can see that ha JBT actually reorganized that data into a very beautiful table, and you can read it out yourself. And after this, what I'm going to do is that I'm just going to type into HA GBT and asking for the prompt that I mentioned earlier, which was to deduce the problems that the customers are facing. I want a solution for those problems. So that is what I'm going to do. I'm going to type it out in the chat GPT, and hat GBT is going to give me the solutions as well as the problems that these customers are facing. That is a trick behind inference and deduction proms. You're copying and pasting a particular data into hat GPT, and hat GPT is going to infer or deduce from those particular data. You can copy and paste any kind of data, and hat GVT would definitely help you to understand the problems or whatever you want to deduce or infer from the data. Now let's take a look at a few more examples, and the second example reads like this from the employees' consistent late arrivals and decreased productivity, infer what might be affecting their performance. And let's move on to the third example, too, and the third example reads like this. From the increasing frequency of extreme weather events, deduce the long term implications for urban planning. So these are the two examples that I have for you, and you can see that I've typed these out in the hat GPT, and hat GPT has given few results for these two proms. So this is what the inference and deduction proms basically are. In the second example, as an employer, I'm seeing that my employees are arriving late and the productivity has decreased. So I'm asking Chad GPT what might be the possible reasons. And in the third example, you can see that you are going through an extreme weather condition. So you want to know the implications for the long term urban planning. And that is a trick behind inference and direction proms. And I hope you like this technique. And by that, let's move on to the next type of prompts that we are going to take a look at in this video. And the final type of prams that we are going to take a look at in this video are the anogy and metaphor prams. So what are these analogy and metaphor proms? Well, the title is very self explanatory, you are going to ask JAD GPT to create analogies and metaphors, whether it be for a story or whether it be to understand something or for whatever task you want JAD GPT to create analogies or metaphors. So as usual, let us take a look at few examples. And the first example reads like this. Explain the human circulatory system as if it were a city's public transportation system. So you want a metaphor or an analogy in order to understand the human circulatory system in comparison to the transportation system of a city. And let's move on to the second example. And the second example reads like this. Explain the concept of economic inflation using the metaphor of an over inflated balloon. So that is the second example. You want to compare or understand what is economic inflation. By using the analogy or metaphor of an over inflated balloon. And lastly, you have an example of the heart. Use an analogy to explain the function of the heart as if it were a water pump in a garden. So you want to understand or study the structure of a heart by comparing it to a water pump in the garden, feel free to try it out yourself by going into hat GPT and typing these prompts by yourselves. And by that, let me wrap up this video, and I'll be coming up with more techniques in the next videos, and I'll see you over there. 7. Language Translation & Transformation Techniques: Hi there. Welcome to another video of this course. Now, in this video, we're going to take a look at language translation and transformation techniques. So under this topic of language translation and transformation techniques, we have three different kinds of proms. So the first type are the multilingual proms and the second type are the summarization and paraphrasing proms. Lastly, you have the adaptation and transformation proms. So these are really interesting topics, and let us take a look at them one by one. Now, as I mentioned, firstly, we are going to take a look at multilingual proms. So what are these multilingual proms? Well, love, I've got a few different interesting examples that would fall under the multilingual proms and let us take a look at them one by one. And now, as you can see on the screen, you can use these kinds of multilingual proms just for basic phrase translations. So if someone sends you a phrase in say Russian or Japanese, you can just ask at GBT to translate this phrase. So that would be the first way in which you can use these kinds of proms. Well, actually, there is another way where you can use these kinds of multilingual proms. And as I mentioned as the second point on the screen, you can use these kinds of prompts or rather you could use hat GPT to practice a new language if you're someone who is trying to learn a new language. Well, if you're someone who's trying to learn a new language, the problem that you're going to face is that you don't have people to communicate that particular language with. You want to communicate whatever you have learned so far with someone, right? Only then you would improve upon that particular language. Well, now with the birth of the popular AI tool called Chat GPT, you can actually use it to communicate a new language that you are trying to learn. So let me show you the examples of these two use cases. And as you can see on the screen, this is the example of using hat GPT as a translator tool. So if someone is sending you a phrase in a different language that you do not know, you can just ask hat GPT to translate it. And you can see the screenshot of what I've typed into hat GPT. I've used the following prompt. Hi Chat GPT, translate the phrases I give you into English. Also as a side note, name these languages, too. So if I see a particular language, I might not recognize what language that is, right? So I want Chat GPT to do that extra work of naming what language that was. And you can see that I've copied different phrases of different languages, and you can see that hat GBT has given me the language as well as the translation of that particular phrase. So this is the first way in which you can use the multilingual proms. And secondly, as I mentioned, you can use it to learn a particular language. And this is how the prompt goes, and you can see on the screen, Hi, hat GPT, I am learning Spanish, and I want you to be a Spanish communicator. Speak only Spanish. If I do not understand what you tell, I will say translate, which I've written in quotation marks for chat GPT to know that it is a keyword, so that whenever I type that keyword, hat GPT should do the following task, which is for you to translate it into English. Shall we start? So that is a prompt that I'm going to give to Chad GPT. And after giving this prompts, Cha gibt is going to be a Spanish communicator. And as you can see on the screen, I have typed the prompt into the Chad GBD command prompt, and you can see hagiVt has given me por upesto Esto Listo Para, AudartPrende, Espanol, and the Spanish goes on. So I've typed back O YosO Donald Trump. ETU, which means I am Donald Trump and who are you? And ha GPT has given me Ola Donald. So Ja GBT asistene Virtual credo for Open AI. So you can see that ha JibT only speaks in Spanish. So imagine a scenario where you keep on talking, and finally, ha GPT gave a phrase that you did not learn or you do not. And you can see, I've used the keyword translate, and Cha GPT instantly recognized that it is a keyword, and it translated the Spanish which it said into English so that I will understand it. So that is the basic trick behind using Cha GPT to learn a particular language that you are trying to learn. And I hope you really like these multilingual command prompts, and I hope you'll be trying it out yourself to learn a new language or to translate phrase. And by that, let's move on to the second type of command proms that we're going to take a look at. And the second type of command prompts of this video that we're going to take a look at are the summarization and paraphrasing prompts. So as I've written on the screen, the name of the command prompt is self explanatory. You're basically asking Chat GPT to summarize and paraphrase something. So personally, how I use these kinds of summarization and paraphrasing prompts is that whenever I have a task to go through a PDF that consists of ten to 20 pages, what I do is that I might not have the time to do and what I'll be doing is that I'll be copying and pasting each of those pages into hat GPT, and I'll be asking Chat GBT to summarize the entire PDF. That would be the case if I'm using the hat GPT free version. But if you're someone who's having the paid premium version of hat GPT, which uses the GPT four model, you can see that you can just upload that PDF into hat GPT and ask hat GPT to summarize that PD. So these are the two methods that I would use to summarize a particular document. If you are using the free version, you have to copy and paste individually, and that is what I'm going to show you. But if you have the paid premium version well and good, you just have to upload that PDF into hat GPT, and hat GBT would give you the summary of the entire PDF. So let's see the technique of how to ask hat GPT to summarize an entire PDF if you are using the free version of hat GPT. And as you can see on the screen, I have a research paper PDF. This is just the front page, and it reads like this big data and tactical analysis in elite soccer, future challenges and opportunities for sports science. So this is a research paper, and it consists of around seven to ten pages. So what I'm going to do is that I'm going to type this prompt into hat GPT. And let me read the prompt out for you. I chat GPT. I will copy and paste a research paper page by page. Until I say the word summarize, just wait for me to copy and paste the entire PDF. After I say the keyword summarize, then and only then I want you to summarize all the pages that I copied and pasted. So you can see that the keyword over here is summarized. Until I say the keyword summarize, chat GPT should expect me to keep on copying and pasting pages from that particular PD. So that is the basic trick of copying page by page. You cannot copy the entire ten page PDF because hat GPT is having an input limit. So due to that limitation of X number of words as input, what we are going to do is that we are going to be tactful and we are going to copy and paste page by page instead of copying the entire PDF. Now, as you can see on the screen, I've typed the command prompt I just showed you into hat GPT, and this is what hat GBT tells. Sure, I can help with that. Please go ahead and paste the content from your research paper. Once you say summarize, I will provide a summary of the information you have shared. So now what I did is that I went to the PDF and you can see I've selected the entire first page, and I'm going to copy the entire front page, and I'm going to paste it into hatGPD I've copied the entire page, and I've pasted it into hat GPD. And you can see that after pasting it, what ChaGBT has said is understood, please continue pasting the content of your research paper. I'm ready to receive more information. So hatGPT is expecting you to keep on copying more and more pages until I say the keyword summarize. So when you say the keyword summarize, only then Cha GBT is going to give you a summary of the entire PDF file. So that is a trick behind summarizing an entire PDF if you are a free user. Now let's take a look at two more different examples of summarization command proms. And you can see that the second example reads like this, summarize the plot of to kill a mocking bird in a few sentences. And the third example reads like this paraphrase this financial advice. Don't put all your eggs in one basket. So you have one example of summarization, where you're asking Chad GPT to summarize the entire plot of a book. And secondly, you have a paraphrasing example where you're giving ChaGPT a phrase and you're asking it to change the phrase in a different manner. And now you can see that I've typed these examples into Chat GPT, and these are the results that Cha GPT gave me. I hope you like these examples. Feel free to go into hatGPT and try out these tricks. And by that, let's move on to the next type of command proms, which is the final type of common proms that we'll be seeing in this video, and those are the adaptation and transformation proms. So what are these adaptation and transformation command proms? Well, these are basically the command proms where you tell Chat GPT to transform a piece of conden into a different style or a different format. And I'm pretty sure that the definition is in that explanatory. So let's take a look at a few examples to understand these type of command proms. And the first example reads like this, adapt the classic fairy tale cindrella into a modern day context. And the second example reads like this, transform the formal letter into an informal conversation between friends. Now in the second example of transformation, you can actually give your own letter that you typed out and ask JAGPT to convert that particular letter which you gave into a different format. Here, CHA GPT is going to give you a sample, and Chat GPT itself is going to convert the sample which it gave into a different format. But just note that you can give your own kinds of letters or your essays or whatever you want and ask HA GPT to convert or transform it into a different format. Now let us type these examples into the command prompt box of ha GVT and you can see, these are the results that Ja Jibti gave me. Now, for the case of classic fairy tale of Cindrella into a modern context, what Ja JBT did was it has rewritten the character of Cindrella into someone who is a graphic designer and she's working for small advertising agency and so on. So ha JIT is going to convert the entire story into a modern day context. And secondly, you have the transformation of formal letter into an informal conversation between friends, and Cha Jibti itself has given us the letter and if I actually scroll down, the formulator has been converted into a conversation between friends. So you can go to Chat GPT and try out these examples and have fun with Chat GPT. And by these command prompts, let us wrap up this video, and I'll be coming up with more techniques in the coming videos, and I'll be seeing you over there. 8. Audience & Evaluation Techniques: Hi there. Welcome to another video of this section. Now in this video, we are going to take a look at audience and evaluation techniques. Now, under this topic of audience and evaluation techniques, we have two different types of Kamal proms. And the first type is the emotional tone prompt, and the second type is the audience and purpose proms. So without further ado, let's dive right into the video and take a look at these proms one by one. Now, the first prom that I just mentioned were the emotional tone proms. Now, if you're wondering what these kinds of proms are, you're just basically adding emotion to your essay or whatever type of content that you want Chat GBD to generate. So by using these kinds of emotional tone proms, you can actually set the mood of your content. And in order to understand these kinds of prompts, clearly, let us take a look at few examples. And the first example reads like this, write a short story about a lost dog using a hopeful tone. Now in this example, the emotional tone is that of a hopeful tone. Now, the content that you want to create over here is a short story about a lost dog, but you want Chat GPT to write the story in a way that at the end, everything works out well. That is a trick behind the first type of example. You want Chat GPT to give a hopeful tone. And now moving on to the second type of example, in this example, you want to write an email to an upset customer, but the tone that you want to give here is compassion and understanding. So if you're a customer who is upset about a particular product, you would definitely want the customer care service or the help line to respond to you in an understanding and compassionate tone, right? And that's what you want to generate over here, and that is what you're asking hat GPT too. You want to write an email which has a compassionate, as well as understanding tone. As usual, what I did is that I've tied these examples into hat GPT, and these are the results that I got from hat GPD. Now, you can go through these two responses, and if you want to try it out yourself, head directly into hat GPT and type these proms out and see what hat GBT is going to give you. And by that, let's move on to the next type of proms of this video. And the next type of proms that we're going to take a look at are the audience and purpose proms. So what are these audience and purpose prompts? So these are the proms that you use to generate condens for a particular set of demographics. And by demographics, what I mean is that it can include age, gender, or whatever type of audience that you're referring. For example, under the category of age, it can be for millionaires, or it can be for the older generation. And if you're looking at the gender, you might want to create a product just for the women or just for men. So you want to generate contents appealing to a particular demographics, right? And can also be location specific, right? You can create a social media post or whatever content that you want that appeals to a particular location, whether it be Florida, whether it be United States, whether it be India, or whatever place you want, you can actually generate it by asking had GPT. Now, without over explaining the symbol concept, let us take a look at a few examples. And the first example reads like this, explain quantum physics in a way that a 10-year-old would understand. So over here, the audience is someone who does not understand quantum physics. So in order to understand quantum physics, you're asking JA GPT to simplify the concept of quantum physics in a way that a small kid would understand. And now, speaking from my personal experience, what I do is that usually for my exams, if I do not understand any concept, I will try to ask JA GPT to explain that in a very comprehensible manner, and it would definitely break down such complex topic. To such easy to understand pieces. So this is a very good example of a command prompt that you could use to learn complex topics. Now moving on to the second example, the second example reads like this, create an advertisement for a new book targeting young adults. So over here, the target audience are young adults, and the content that you want to create is an advertisement for your book. So that's pretty self explanatory, and let's move on to the last example. The last example reads like this. Create a brochure about a new technology product aimed at senior citizens. So over here, the demographics or the audience that you want to appeal to are the senior citizens, and you want to create a brochure related to technology, which would be the product. So these are the type of examples that you can use under audience and purpose prompts. I hope you would use these kinds of proms wisely, and you can see that I've typed these examples into hat GPT, and these are the expected responses that Chat GPT gave me. You can go through these examples and feel free to type it out on your own in hat GPT and see what the results are. And by that, let's wrap up this video. I'll be seeing you with a lot more techniques in the coming sections. 9. Perspective & Positioning Prompts: There, we have just rounded off another section of this video, and we are diving into the next section. And this section is called role based and Instruction proms. So as the name suggests, we'll be giving at GPT certain roles and instructions in the form of command proms so that we will get more effective answers. Now, under this section, we'll be focusing on three different aspects of role based and instruction proms. And the first aspect would be perspective and positioning proms. And the second aspect would be exploration and critical thinking proms. And lastly, you have structure and progression proms. So these are the three different aspects that I've divided into three different videos in this section. So without further ado, let's dive right into the first video, and that is perspective and positioning proms. Now, as you can see on the screen, under the perspective and positioning proms, we have four different types of command proms. And let me read them out for you one by one, and the first one is reverse proms. And the second one is RGC which stands for role goal challenge proms. And finally, we have the debate proms. So these are the four different topics we'll be covering in this video, and let's dive straight into the first one, and those are the reverse proms. Now, as you can see on the screen, these are the type of prompts that help to foster creativity and encourage problem solving from a different angle. So I would underline the word different angle or new angle because reverse proms are more like reverse psychology. You're asking Chat GPT a very different question from a very different perspective. And I'm pretty sure you still didn't understand what reverse proms are. And now, in order to make you understand this concept in a much more clearer manner to you, let's take a look at few examples. And as always, I have three examples for you, and the first example reads like this. Rather than listing factors that contribute to the environmental conservation, list actions that harm the environment. And now let's move on to the second example, and the second example reads like this. Instead of giving tips on how to write a good novel, describe common mistakes made by first time novelists. And lastly, you have instead of explaining how to make a relationship stronger, discuss the behaviors that can weaken a relationship. So you can see that there are three different examples that I have. Now, what's common in these three types of examples is that you're telling Chad GPD you don't want these things to be discussed, but you want the opposite of these things to be discussed. And that's what you have seen. For example, in the second case, the second case was instead of giving you tips how to write a good novel, want the mistakes that people commonly make. So that is the kind of reverse psychology that you're playing on hat GPT, and by using these kinds of proms, hat GPT is going to give you more accurate results. Now, as you can see on the screen, I've typed these examples into the hat GPT command prompt section, and these are the results that Chat GPT gave me for each of these command proms. You can read through these examples, or if you would like, you can go to hat GPT and type it out yourself and see what results hat GPT is going to give. And by that, let's move on to the next type of command prompt of this video, and the next type of command prompt is the RGC command prompts, which stands for role, goal, and challenge. Now, what are these RC prompts? Well, these proms are actually used in guiding the AI to understand a specific role, goal, and challenge, which in turn can lead to more realistic responses. So, let's skip the boring explanation and dive right into the examples to understand this more clearly. And the first example out of the three examples that I have in store for you, reads like this. You are a high school teacher, which is the role, aiming to make a Shakespeare play interesting to teenagers, so that would be the goal. And the challenge is that students find Shakespeare boring and irrelevant. How do you engage them? So that is the command prom that you are going to use. You're giving Cha GPD a row, you're giving Cha GPD a go, and finally, you are giving it a challenge. And lastly, you want to find a way through those challenges, and that is what Chat JBT is going to give you. Use these kinds of proms when you encounter such situations. Now let us take a look at the next two examples also, and the next example reads, you are a financial advisor, which is a role, whose goal is to help a young couple save for a home, which would be the goal. And lastly, you have the challenge and the challenge is that they have a habit of impulsive spending. What strategy would you suggest? And that would be the second example. The role, goal, and challenges are very clearly specified, and you want GPT to give you a financial advice regarding this challenge. Lastly, you have an example of a dietitian, and the example reads like this. You are a dietian tasked with creating a balanced diet plan for an athlete. So that's the role and the goal. And lastly, you have the challenge which reads like this. The challenge is that the athlete is allergic to several common protein sources. How would you develop this diet plan? So you have a role, goal, and a challenge in this example of a dietitian, and you want GPT to find a solution to this challenge. As you can see on the screen, I've typed these examples out in the screen of hat GPT, and JAGPT has given me solutions to these examples of command proms. You can read these solutions on your own and I've displayed it on the screen. If you want to try out on your own, feel free to go to hat GPT and try these proms and see what the results are. Now let's move on to the next type of command proms. And the next type of command prompts are the act as command prompts. And as you can see on the screen, these are the command proms that is going to allow hatGPT to take a specific character, profession, and it would help in more engaging and imaginative responses. So without further ado, let's take a look at few examples. And the three examples that I have in store for you are I'm asking ChaGBD to act as an astronaut. The second one is to act as a professional and lastly, to act as a wildlife biologist. So you want Cha GPT to act as something and do a specific task. In the first case, the specific task is to describe the experience of walking on the moon. And the second case is to share a tip for making the perfect pasta dish. Then lastly, as a wildlife biologist, you want Chat GPT to explain the behavior of elephants in the wild. So these are the three examples that I have in store for you. And now, as you can see on the screen, after typing these command prompts, Chat GPT has given me these responses. And I hope you enjoyed these responses by Chat GPT. And now let's move on to the last type of prompts that we'll be looking at in this video, and the last type of proms would be debate prompts. And as you can see on the screen, these are the type of proms that would encourage hat GPT to construct arguments and take the opposite view. It's like playing the devil's advocate, and it would help us to understand different perspective of a particular issue. And as always, the best way to learn something is to take a look at examples. And these are the three examples that I have for you. The first example reads like this debate the advantages and disadvantages of remote work. The second example is debate the pros and cons of attending college. Lastly, you have debate the pros and cons of implementing a four day work week. So I hope you got the gist of what this command prompt is. You're taking both the sides of advantages and disadvantages and forming a conclusion. So you're asking Cha GPT to play both the sides and give you both the advantages and disadvantages of a particular specific issue as if you are in a debate. And I've typed these examples into Chat GPT, and you can see, these are the responses that ChaJBT has given me, and you can see the advantages section and the disadvantages part. And that would be the basic gist of debate prompts. And by that, we'll be concluding this video, and I hope you like this video. And in the next video, we'll be seeing a lot more command prompts, and I'll be seeing you over there. 10. Exploration & Critical Thinking Prompts: Hi there. Welcome to the second video of this section. Now, in this video, we'll be taking a look at exploration and critical thinking proms. And under the exploration and critical thinking proms, there are three different kinds of prompts. The first one is constraint based prompts, the second one is counterfactual scenario prompts, and lastly, you have socratic questioning prompts. So I hope you're excited to learn these kinds of prompts, and without further ado, let's dive straight into this video. Now the first type of prawns that we are going to take a look at are the constraint based prawns. And as I've shown on the screen, these are the prawns that lead to more creative responses that Cha GBT must generate. But the thing is that you're giving it a constraint and Cha GBT cannot go beyond those constraints. Now, in order to understand this concept of constraint based prawns, let us take a look at few examples. Now, the first example is, write a horror story that takes place in a bakery. So the constraint that we are placing on hat GPT is a bakery. So hat GPT cannot go outside this bakery, right? So that is the meaning of constraint ways command prompts. You want a horror story which is constrained to the bakery. Now moving on to the second example, and the second example reads like this. Imagine a detective story where the detective uses only historical facts to solve cases. So the constraint in this example is that the detective can only use historical facts to solve cases. So that is the constraint that we are giving Chad GPT, and Cha GPT should give us a detective story based on those constraints. Now moving on to the next example, the last example reads like this, write an adventure story set in a world where all natural elements are reversed. Now if you didn't understand what I meant by all natural elements are reversed, imagine that you have a moving mountain where you have raging fire kind of contradicts reality. And those are the constraints that we are giving Chat GPT. And now, as you can see on the screen, I've taken screenshots of images of these examples and the responses that Chat GPT has given me. If you want to try it out, feel free to go to hat GPT and try out these command proms and other scenarios that you can think of in a creative manner. Now let's move on to the next type of command proms of this video, and the next type of command proms that we're going to take a look at is the counter factual scenario proms. And as usual, the definition goes like this. These are the command prompts that encourage at GPT to imagine alternative realities or outcomes which would help in generating more creative responses. So as usual, let's take a look at three different examples. Now, the first example reads like this. How would the modern life be different if the Internet had never been invented? So you have a reality which is that Internet has been invended. So you're asking Chat GPT a case where Internet had never been invented. So I hope you got the gist of these types of counterfactual scenario prompts, and let's move on to the next example. Imagine how World War two might have ended differently if the atomic bomb had not been used. Now, that's a very self explanatory example of a counterfactual scenario prompts. And finally, let me give you one more example, and the example reads like this. Speculate on how daily life would change if humans had the ability to fly naturally. So you're giving human beings the ability to fly, and how would life be different if humans had that ability? So these are the three examples that I have for you, and I've typed this into Chat GPT, and these are the responses that Chat GBD gave me for these three types of command prompt. I hope you like these responses given by Cha GBT. And by that, let's move on to the next type of command prompts. And the final type of command prompt of this video is called Socratic questioning prompts. So when you use the socratic questioning proms, you're actually trying to stimulate critical thinking and contradictions or gaps in an argument, and Cha JBT is going to point it out to you. So let's take a look at three examples and the first example reads like this. What is the purpose of education? How does education impact an individual's life and society at large? Can education have negative effects? And moving on to the second example and the second example reads like this, what is the value of art in society? Does art serve a purpose beyond aesthetic enjoyment? Can art be harmful in any way? Lastly, you have an example of leadership, and it reads like this. What makes a leader effective? How does leadership impact group dynamics and outcomes? Can leadership styles have negative effect? So these kinds of continuous questioning about a particular topic is called socratic questioning. And when you use these kinds of socratic questioning, it would help Chat GPT to narrow down its knowledge onto that specific topic, and that would in turn help us get correct information from hat GPT. I hope you understood these socratic questioning proms and by that, we'll be concluding our video. And in the next video, I'll be coming with more prompting techniques, and I'll be seeing you over there. 11. Structure & Progression Prompts: Hi there. Welcome to another video of this course. Now in this video, we're going to take a look at structure and progression proms. Now, under the structure and progression prompts, we are going to take a look at two different kinds of proms. And the first type of proms that we're going to take a look at are the progressive reveal prompts, and the second type of proms that we'll be seeing in this video are the conditional and itrativePms. Now, I hope you're excited to learn these two proms. Without further ado, let's head straight into the video. Now, the first type of proms that I mentioned were the progressive reveal proms. So what are these progressive reveal proms? And as I've written on the screen, these are the proms that would help Chat GPT to gradually unveil an information or a story, and it would help to create a sense of mystery or suspense. So the basic gist is that you want to write a story or you want to give an information in a way that it creates a sense of mystery or it would create suspense. So now I'm pretty sure that the definition did not do a pretty good job in making you understand this concept. So what we are going to do is that we are going to take a look at few examples. And as you can see on the screen, these examples are definitely going to help you to understand the progressive reveal proms. So let's take a look at them one by one. Now, the first example reads like this, narrate a detective's investigation, gradually uncovering clues about a suspect. So over here, you're asking Chad GPT to narrate a detective's investigation. So it is a kind of progressive reveal prompt because you want one clue at a time. You want the first clue, and it will lead to the next clue. And in that manner, it would be a progressive reveal prompt. So I hope you understood that example. So let's move on to the second example and the second example reads like this. Craft a tale where each sentence adds to the mystery of the abandoned car in the forest, and that is a very self explanatory example. You want each sentence that would add to the mystery of that abandoned car, right? So that is also a sense of progressive reveal prompt. And let us finally move on to the last example and the last example reads like this. Create a suspenseful tale about a character we hear strange noises at night revealing the cause step by step. So the main thing that's common in these examples is that they are mainly used for narrating a particular story. And the next thing that's common between these three examples is that the next suspense is being gradually unveiled in each step or in each iteration of the paragraph that the story goes into. So that is the main trick behind progressive reveal proms. And as you can see on the screen, I've typed these examples into hat GPT, and these are the results that hat GPT gave me. What I wanted to do was that I wanted to go to hat GPT and try these examples out yourself. And I want you to see what these responses from CHAT GPT are. And by that, let's move on to the next type of command prompts that we are going to take a look at in this video. And the next type of command prompts that we are going to take a look at are the conditional and iterative proms. Now, as I've written on the screen, these are the proms that would help Chat GPT to generate a response based on certain conditions that you are going to give it. So it is like an I L statement that you use in coding if you are familiar with coding. If you're not familiar with coding, don't worry. We have few examples to make you understand these kinds of proms. So let us take a look at them one by one. And as you can see on the screen, the first example reads like this. If a student struggles with math, recommends study techniques. If they excel at math, suggest ways to challenge themselves further. So if you're a teacher, I would be definitely using the first type of command prompts, and I would want both the techniques for students who are struggling with math and the students who are excelling at math, right. So as a teacher, I shouldn't show bias and only focus on the excellent students, right. I should also focus on the weak students and vice versa. So that's a trick behind conditional and IradivePms. You are giving two conditions, and over here, the first condition is struggling with math. And the second condition is excelling at math. Now let's move on to the next type of example, and the next example reads like this. If it's sunny, describe a day at the beach. If it's raining, describe a day at home. So I believe that's a pretty clear and self explanatory example, right? Now let's move on to the next example and the next example reads like this. If planning a vacation in summer suggest beach destinations, if in Winter, recommend ski resorts, you're giving two conditions to chat GPT, and if the first condition satisfies give us these details or if the second condition is satisfied, give us the second type of details. So that is the main idea behind conditional and iterative proms. Try to be creative and use these kinds of proms and integrate it into your daily use. And by that, let's type these examples into hat GPT, and you can see that these are the results that hat GPT gave me. Feel free to go through it, and I would also recommend you to go and type these into hat GPT and see what the expected responses are. And by that, I'll be wrapping up the section, and I'll be seeing you in the next section with more techniques. I'll see you over there. 12. Cognitive & Memory Techniques: Hi there. Welcome back to another section of the scores. Now in this section, our primary focus will be on memory and perspective techniques. And under this memory and perspective techniques, we have three different types of techniques. And the first type that comes under the memory and perspective techniques would be the cognitive and memory techniques. And the second one would be analysis and problem solving techniques. And finally, we have the verification and forecasting techniques. So I hope you're excited to dive into the section of memory and perspective techniques. Now, let's start by taking a look at the first type of memory and perspective techniques, and those are the cognitive and memory techniques. And as you can see on the screen, we'll be only talking about one type of cognitive and memory techniques, and it's called mnemonic device Pm. So what are these mnemonic device prompts? So if you don't know what a mnemonic device is, a mnemonic device is a kind of phrase that you use when there is a need to remember a list of items or facts. So when you use these kinds of mnemonic device proms, you actually create an easy to remember association or a structure that can help you to recall a lot of important information. Now, in order to gain clarity regarding these kinds of proms, let us take a look at a few examples. Now the first example I have for you is regarding rainbow. So as you can read on the screen, the prompt goes like this. Create a mnemonic to remember the colors of the rainbow. And the second example is invent a mnemonic device to remember the planets in the solar system in order, which would be mercury, venous, Earth, mass, Jupiter, Saturn, uranus and Neptune. And finally, you have an example of the periodic table, and it goes like this. Create a mnemonic for the periodic tables first ten elements, which are hydrogen, helium, lithium, barrilium, boron, carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, fluorine and neon. Let's type these proms into chat GPT and see what the results are. Now, as you can see on the screen, these are the results that ha Jipti gave me. Now, for the first example of rainbow, which would be red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet, ha Jipiti has given me a unique and creative mnemonic device, and it reads like this, rabbits often yield great boundaries in valleys. So the first letters of these represent the colors. For example, the R in the rabbit stands for red, and often the O stands for orange. And G in grade stands for green and so on. So I hope you understood what are mnemonic devices. You're just asking Cha JBT to create a phrase or a sentence, which is called the nemonic device in order to remember a list or something that you want to remember. So I hope you understood the example of a mnemonic device. And secondly, you have the example of planets, and it reads like this. My very educated mother just served as noodles. So M stands for mercury, stands for Venus, E stands for Earth and so on. And lastly, you have the first ten elements of the periodic table, and Cha JBT has given us a mnemonic device, and it reads like this. Happy Henry likes beans baked in New Orleans Friday night. And I hope you enjoyed the section. So try to use these kinds of mnemonic devices when you want to study something, and it would definitely help for your exams or if you want to remember a kind of list or something of that sort. And by that, we'll be concluding this video, and I'll be seeing you in the next video with more techniques. I'll see you over there. 13. Analysis & Problem Solving Techniques: There, welcome to another video of this section. Now, in this video, we'll be taking a look at analysis and problem solving techniques. So under the analysis and problem solving techniques, we have two different kinds of proms that we'll be dealing with. And the first type of proms are the cross domain synthesis proms. And the second type of proms would be the problem solving proms. I hope you're excited to learn these two types of proms, so we'll dive right into. The first type of proms which I mentioned were cross domain synthesis proms. So what are these cross domain synthesis proms? And as I've written, these are the proms that will help you to draw connections between two different fields or concepts which are unrelated. So it would foster a sense of creative thinking and innovation. So that is what cross domain synthesis proms are. You're taking two different fields, say, mathematics and biology, and you're mixing them together to form a conclusion or to find a solution to a problem. Now to gain a better clarity, let us take a look at few examples. So the first example of a command prompt that falls under the cross domain synthesis proms is how can concepts from psychology be used to enhance user experience in software design? And the second example reads, apply principles of storytelling to improve legal arguments in court. And lastly, you have use insights from behavioral economics to design more effective public health campaigns. These are the three examples. In the first example, you have psychology and software design, and you're blending them together to enhance the user experience of the software design. In the second case, you have a legal argument in court and you have the principles of storytelling and you want to blend them together in order to win in court. Lastly, you have behavioral economics and you have public health campaigns, and you want to mix these two in order to have an effective public health campaign. So these are the three examples that I have in store for you. Now, as you can see on the screen, I've typed these proms into HA GPT, and hat GPT gave me the results. And those are the results that you see on the screen. Now, after getting these results from hat GPT, what you can do is that you can ask JA GPT to explain or expand further each one of these points. So that would help you to understand the concepts that JAGPT gave you in a broad manner or in a comprehensive manner. So that is a trick behind using cross domain synthesis proms. You're combining two different fields and finding a solution. Now let's move on to the next type of comment proms and those are the problem solving proms. As I've written on the screen, these are the problems that facilitate critical thinking and problem solving. So you can use this mainly for brainstorming solutions for a given problem. And as usual, let us take a look at examples to understand the concept in a much more clearer manner. Now, let me read out the three examples that I have in store for you. The first example reads like this. Devise the strategies to improve work life balance for remote employees. And the second one goes like this. What methods can be used to increase voter turnout in elections? And the last one reads like this, identify ways to reduce water waste in a household. So these are the examples of a problem solving proms. You're just giving ha GBT the problem that you want to solve, and you're asking it to give a solution. Now, what I've done is that I've typed these proms into Cha GBT, and you can see these are the results that ha GBT gave me. You can go through these points what Cha GPT gave me. And what I can do is that if I did not understand a point clearly, I can ask JA GPT to explain that particular point in a much more clearer manner. So that is a trick behind using problem solving proms. Try to use them when you want a solution to a particular problem. And by that, we'll be concluding this video, and I'll be seeing you in the next video with more prompting techniques. I'll see you over there. 14. Verification Techniques: Hi there. Welcome to the final video of this section. Now, in this video, we are going to take a look at verification and organization techniques. And I'm pretty sure that you are excited to learn these kinds of techniques. Now let us take a look at the conans which come under verification and organization techniques. Now the first type of proms that we are going to take a look at are the fact checking and verification proms. Secondly, we are going to take a look at error detection and correction proms. And lastly, we are going to take a look at Con curation and organization proms. So these are the three different types of command proms that we are going to dive into. And without further ado, let's take a look at them one by one. Now, as I mentioned, the first one that we are going to take a look at is the fact checking and verification proms. So these are the proms that are designed to validate the accuracy of information. Now in simple words, what we are going to do is that we have a piece of information, we are going to ask hat GBT whether that information is true or false. And that's the gist behind fact checking and verification proms. Now, as you can see on the screen, I have a few examples for you. And the first example reads like this, confirm the accuracy of the statement, the human body has four lungs, and moving on to the second example, the second example reads like this, ascertain the truthfulness of the statement, Albert Einstein failed math as a student. And lastly, you have an example of a bat, and the example goes like this. Determine the factual accuracy of the claim, bats are blind. So these are the three examples that I have in store for you. And after typing these command proms into hat GPT, you can see these are the results that Chat GBT gave me. Now for the example of the factual accuracy of the claim that bats are blind, what Chat GBT gave me is that the claim that bats are blind is not factually accurate. Bats are not blind. In fact, many species of bats have excellent vision. However, it is true that some bad species have relatively poor eyesights relying more on their other senses, and it goes on. Now for the example of Albert Einstein, this is what Chad GPT gave me. The statement that Albert Einstein failed math as a student is a common myth and is not true. This misconception likely stems from the fact that Einstein struggled with certain aspects of his education, particularly his early formal education in a traditional school system, and it goes on. So this is the idea behind fact checking and verification proms. If you have a piece of information that you want to fact check or verify, just type into Chat GPT, and it's going to tell whether it's true or not. And by that, let's move on to the next type of command proms of this video, and the next type of the command proms that we're going to take a look at are the error detection and correction proms. Now, these are the proms that would help us to identify and correct errors, and it would help us to enhance the accuracy and quality of the output. So basically, these are the proms where you want Chad GPT to correct you. Now, for example, let us take a look at the first one, identify and correct any grammatical errors in the following sentence. She don't like apples. And the second example is detect and fix any mistakes in the code snippet. If X equal to five, return true. So that's more of a programming side example. If you're a programmer, whether you use Python, C plus plus, R programming or whatever language you use, you can use tat GPT to correct your mistakes or find mistakes in your code snippet. And lastly, you have an example of math, and the example reads like this. Identify and correct the error in this mathematical equation. 12/4 is equal to two. So these are the examples that I have for you. Now, I'm typing it out in Char GPT, and you can see these are the results that Cha GBT gave me. Cha GPT actually corrects your mistakes. So if you have some grammatical doubt or if you have doubt with your code or if you have some mathematical doubts, you can use these kinds of error detection and correction proms and Cha GBT would correct your mistakes. And by that, I hope you understood this concept, and let's move on to the next type of command proms. And the next type of command proms are the condon curation and organization proms. Now, as the name suggests, these are the proms that would help you to organize and curate your condon in an effective manner. So it is such a self explanatory concept, and we will take a look at examples instead of looking at the definition, and it will help you to understand the concept clearly if you didn't understand it yet. So the first example that I have for you is this, organize the following list of historical events in chronological order. You can see that I've typed it out into Chad GPT, and I've given a few historical events. So I've given birth of Jesus Christ, the Black death plague, Cold War, Alexander the Great, Division of India, and lastly, American Civil War. So I've given a few historical events in a different order, and I've asked Chad GPT to organize it in a chronological order. And you can see that this is the result. The first one was the birth of Jesus Christ. The second one is Alexander the Great. The third one is Black Death plague. The fourth one is a division of India. Fifth one is American Civil War, and lastly, you have the Cold War. And if you want the dates of those exact events, what you have to do is that you just have to type into Cha GPT, you want the dates, and HAGPT is going to give you the results with exact dates of those events. And that was the first example of content curation and organization prompts. Now, let us take a look at the second example. And the second example reads like categorize these topics into appropriate subjects, photosynthesis, World War two, Pythagoras theorem, the great depression, and lastly, cellular respiration. So what I did is that I typed this command promptly into Chat GBT, and this is the result that Chat GBT gave me. It has categorized each of those topics into their respective categories, and you can see that photosynthesis biology, World War two history, Pythagoras theorem, mathematics, the Great Depression history or economics, cellular respiration, which falls under biology, and so on. So if you have a huge chunk of unorganized data and you want to classify them, just copy the entire data into chat GPT and ask you to classify. And if you also want, you can ask JA GPT to organize or classify them in a tbar format, and you would get a neat table which is classified or organized in a neat manner. So that is what you have to do, and that is what the conant curation and organization proms are. And by that, we'll be concluding this video, and in the next section, I'll be coming up with more techniques. And until then try out these tricks, and I'll be seeing you in the next section. 15. Style & Format Techniques: Hi there. Welcome back to another section of the course. Now in this section, we'll be taking a look at style and format techniques. Now, under the style and format techniques, we have three different types of command proms. And the first type is the imitating a specific writing style command prompt. And the second one is writing in a specific genre. And lastly, you have writing in different formats. So these are the three different writing styles or techniques of command proms that we are going to use in chat GPT. So let's dive right in and take a look at them one by one. Now, the first type of comment proms that I just mentioned were the imitating a specific writing style proms. Now, as I've written, these are the proms that would help you to write a condon, a book, an essay, or whatever you want in a specific style or tone of a particular writer. And that's the gist of these kinds of proms. You are using Chat GPT to write in the style of a particular author. And if you want, you can actually combine the styles of two different aors and mix them into one single format, and it would be a new type of format for you, right? And that's how you become creative and invent new styles of writing. You can combine two or three or more number of others into one single format. Now, as you can see on the screen, I have three examples for you, and these are just basic examples of imitating styles. And the first example of a command prompt reads like this. Describe a sunset in the style of JRR Tolkien. If you don't know who JRR Tolkien is is the person who wrote the lot of the rings. And after that, let's move on to the second example. The second example reads like this. Describe a historical event in the style of Mark Twain. And lastly, you have write an email in the style of JK Rowling. And I'm pretty sure that these examples gave you the idea of what imitation proms are. You're just imitating one other or you're combining different aors to create a new style of writing. And as you can see on the screen, I've typed these into Chat GBT, and these are the responses that Chat GBT gave me. And I hope you like these responses, and by that, let's move on to the next type of command proms that we'll be taking a look the next type of comment prom that we're going to take a look at falls under the writing in a specific genre proms. As you can see on the screen, these are the proms that would help you to write an essay, a book or whatever you want in the style of a specific genre, so it can be science fiction, it can be romance, horror, and whatever you want. And as usual, let's head straight into the examples, and the first example reads like this. Compose a mystery story about a detective solving an art heist in a famous museum. And moving on to the second example, the second example reads like this. Create a historical fiction narrative set in ancient Rome. And moving on to the last one, and it reads like this, write a romance story that takes place in a spaceship. So you can see that in these three examples, you have specific genres, whether it be romance, whether it be historical fiction or so on. So that is just behind these specific genre proms. You are mentioning the genre in which you want to write a book or an essay, and Cha GPT is going to give you the results. And as always, I've typed this into ha GPT, and this is a response that I got from Chat GPT. And I hope you enjoy these responses. If you want to try it out yourself, go and type into Cha GPT and feel free to test it out yourself. Now moving on to the last type of prompts, the last type of prompts that we're going to take a look at are the writing in different formats. So by different formats, what we mean is that it can be essays or it can be bullet points, or it can be table format, or it can be a short story, or it can be a movie script or whatever format you want, ChaGPT is going to give that to you. There is one more thing that you can add to these kinds of format, and those would be you can give HAGPT a specific kind of format, say, essay and ask JA GPT to convert that essay into a movie script or bullet points or a summary or whatever you want it to convert into. So that is also a creative way of using these kinds of format prompts. Now moving into the examples, you have three different types of examples. The first example reads like this, compose a business report summarizing the key trends in the digital marketing industry. So over here, the format is a business report. And now moving on to the second example, the second example reads like this. Write a script for a short film about time travel. So over here, the format is a script, which should be for a movie. And finally, I've just given applications. You can just ask hat GPT to write something for your blog post, or it can be for your Instagram caption or it can be for your Twitter tweet or something that's related to social media. And as you can see on the screen, I've typed these examples into hat GPT, and these are the results that hat GPT gave me. Feel free to type it out yourself and see the different formats that Chat GPT can give you. Be creative, spend some time on hat GPT, and try to explore different types of command prompts, and that's how you are going to learn more about hat GPT. And by that small advice, I'll be concluding this video. Thank you.
