I'm always there for you to help you. Let's start learning Blenders for learning the basic of three D bottling, rigging and Anovation together. 2. Starting of blender: First chapter of blender essential tutorial. So now, as this is the chapter number one here, in this particular chapter, I'll be giving you guys an introduction to what blender is, how you will be able to use blender and what are the usage, I'll be telling you guys about the interface or how you will be able to download blender in your computer. So we'll be learning about all of that here in detail in this particular chapter. So let's not waste time, and let's get started. So here, in this introductory chapter, we will be learning the importance of blender application in the modern work flows. So in this modern world, why do we use the blender application? Okay? So we'll be looking into that here in detail. So let's see. So here you guys can see they do have an introduction. So let's read that out. In today's modern workflows, Blender has become an indispensable tool for three D modeling. Animation and rendering. So it is basically used to create three D modeling and different kind of animation, and it is also used for rendering the basic file. And here, it's an open source nature and powerful features make it favorite among professionals and enthusiasts alike. It actually do have a lot of powerful features for creating three D models. So here, they do have a lot of open source. And here, It is mostly used among the professionals and also different kind of enthusiasts. Those who love to make three D models, those who love to do three D dimation. Okay? So this was the introduction of what the blender application is. And now here, you guys can see what are all of this. What are the key features. So if you come here, so they actually do have a versatile three D modeling model. So here, Blender basically offers a wide range of tools for creating intricate three D models from simple geometric shapes to complex organic forms. So here you guys can see that it actually helps you create some basic three D model two and complex organic model as well. So basically, it's sculping and the texturing capabilities provide the artist with freedom to bring their imagination to life. Okay? So this particular application is made in such a way that you do give the artist or the user of this application the freedom to bring their imagination to life. Suppose you were thinking about a scenario. So the same scenario you can basically put out in your page or in your PC in front of your eyes using this particular application by doing the three D modeling and the whole animation. Okay? So now here you guys can see why we should use this one more often. Okay. So here you guys can see they do have efficient animation tools, okay? So with its intuitive timeline and powerful reading tools, blender empowers animators to breathe life into their creations. Okay? So here you will be able to do such nice customization, suppose of a character or of a particular scenario. It will just put on life into their creation. Okay? So you will be able to sculpt in such a way, you will be able to move on the texture in such a way, that it will look quite stunning. So it's support for keyframe animation and physics simulation enables seamless movement at interaction. Over here, you guys can see using the keyframe animation and physic simulations, it actually enables the seamless movement and the interaction of the three D models which you will create over here. Now here you will also get realistic rendering capabilities. So here you guys can see blenders advanced rendering engine and cycles basically delivers stunning visual quality. With realistic lighting and materials. So here you guys will be more familiar with the cycles, what is the cycle is and how the rendering engine works. Once we start here the first chapter of blender. So here you guys can also see it's integrated composing and post processing tools, ensure the final output meets professional standards. So here, once you are doing the final file, it will ensure that the final output will meet the professional standards, which is required for creating three D animation. And now here you guys can see it also do have a collaborative work flow. Okay? So here in collaborative environment, Blender facilitates seamless integration with other software and also supports industry standard file formats, okay? So if there are other three D models which you do have from before of other software or you have downloaded, which you want to do some modifications over here, you guys can come to Blender take your three D file and basically work with other software as well. Suppose you guys can integrate both of those softwares and work in Blender as well, y? And it's basically compatible with version control systems and makes it ideal for team based projects, okay? Suppose you did get a project and in a team, you guys are ten of you. Okay? So you guys are working from home. So you guys can collaborate together and actually start working on the team based project in Blender as well. Okay? So now here you guys can see under Blender, you do have expanding horizons. So as technology evolves, Blender actually continues to adapt and innovate, okay? So till the time lender have come, you guys can see it's doing renovation and it's actually adapting to the newer generation of picture modeling, three D animation, and stuff as well. Expanding its capabilities to encompass virtual reality, augmented reality, and interactive experiences. Okay? So it actually provides you with the virtual reality. You guys can also see the interactive experience, which all they do provide using their tools in the modeling. So it's community driven development ensures a bright future for the application. So from here, basically, people are actually learning a lot and are able to evolve with the trend. So because of that, they think that this particular side or this particular application do have a bright future in the upcoming days. So, lastly, over here, now I do have the conclusion of what blender is. In conclusion, blenders impact on modern workflows cannot be overstated. It's versatility, efficiency, and collaborative features to make an essential tool for three D artists, animators and designers shaping the future of digital content creation. So nowadays, if you go to any websites, there you guys will be able to see that they do have different kind of three D icons. Using blender, you will be able to make those three D icons. You will be able to make some virtual movie clips from here as well. These are basically made for artists, animators and designers who will actually shape the future of digital content creation. This was what blender is. Now, we will see that who all does use the blender and why you should start using blender. So here you guys can see. Now, the first thing what will come into your mind is what all you can do with blender. Okay? So I've already given you guys a small introduction of what blender is. But now, let's see pointwise, that what all you will be able to do with blender. So the first thing you will be able to create virtual world movies. Suppose there are movies, okay, different kind of movies like if you take the 1917, or there are different Marvel or DC movies from where they do use this blender to create virtual world movies or those particular scenes. Okay? And also, you guys will be able to create different three D avatars. Okay. So using blender, you will be able to create some stunning three D avatars over here as well, which will move, which will just animate by itself, using the blender application. Okay? So now here, this is actually completely free application. You don't have to pay any fees to use this particular application. And over the years, it has updated quite significantly. Okay? So in the upcoming years, also, we do hope that the blender keeps on upgrading itself to the standard of three D adivation in the trend. Okay? So that was about how it is an updated software and how you will be able to use this stunning software very without paying any money into their subscription, okay? And here, it also helps you to create high quality three D models, okay? So you'll be able to relate those models to the reality. Okay? So it actually helps you create high quality three D models. And here you guys can see it also helps to make animation and physical three D models like three D prints. Okay? So here, I have already told you, like, if you want to create any animation, like for video games or for a movie or for any kind of small clip. Okay, you guys can make animation and stuff. But here, also, you will be able to use bender for physical three D models like if you're making a three D print of any book or of any kind of a sculpture. You guys can also do the three D modeling three D print over here as well. Now let's move on that y as an individual, you should use the blender. Now, here you guys can see You don't have to be an expert to make cool things over here in this particular platform. But I'm not telling that it will be quite easy. So first, if you don't have any idea at all about three D modeling or how to create three D icons, maybe you are familiar with some other software like graphic designing. But here, to adapt yourself with this workspace and the main work of blender unit some time. But here, you don't have to be an expert to make cool things. And also, you don't have to know how to draw. Okay? So it's not required that if you want to work in blender, you have to be a good artist. But here, without knowing art as well, you guys can make some stunning three D animation. And also, you should have a little patience on learning the usage of blender first. So once you learn what blender is, how it actually works, you do have a little experience of how to use the whole application. Understood about the workspaces, the usage of all of the options available, then you will be able to make some stunning designs in the blender application. So first, let's go and let's see how you will be able to download blender from your search engine. So here, as you guys can see, now I'm here in the home page of my Google search engine. And from the search bar, if you come here and if you write the blender and if you search, you will get all these options right over here. The first one which pops up, which is blender.org. If you come here and if you click right over here on top, here you guys can see that you do have the option to download the latest blender. Okay, so here you guys can actually download it from here. And also, if you do want to download for Mac or OS, you guys can come here and you guys can download the things from here as well. Okay? So, this one is for the windows, and this one is for the Mac OS or the Apple users, and also anyone who are using Linux. Okay? So from here, basically, you guys can download their application, which I already did here in my PC, And also, they don't take any charges, but always you guys can support them from here. Okay, you guys can come here and you guys can just support and also donate in their particular application. Okay? So if you're getting benefited using this application, you guys can come here, and also you guys can actually develop fund for this application. You guys can come here and donate one time or in monthly, each and every time you guys can donate into their account. So now let's go back and I will show you guys what is the first page once you have downloaded Blender and now how you will start your work in the blender application. So this is the type of page which will basically uppear on your screen once you first time open your blender. Okay? So here you guys can see there is a small window, and over here, they do have different options. So the first option is new file. And here you do have the manual of getting started. If you do want to open up any three D file which you have already worked on before, You guys can come here and click on open Blender file. And the shortcut key for that is control plus O from your keyboard, if you're a indos user. And if you're a Mac user, you just need to click on Command plus O from your keyboard. And suppose if you have worked before here in this file and you forgot to save that particular animation or that three D work, You guys can come here and click on recover Last Sesson option. And the last project, which you did will be saved or recovered here, and you guys can save it later as well. Okay? So this was about open and recover last session options. Now let's look at this new file and get it started option. Now, from here, the new file option, I can come here and I can create a general file, or if I want to do today animation, or if I do want to do the sculpting, if I'm working with any VFX, I can come here and select that particular file. If you do need any kind of guidance, you guys can come here into the getting started option. If you click on Manual, it will take you to a preset website in the web browser to show you how the blender actually works, where you will get a better idea about what it is. But as here, you don't have to do anything, you just can click outside, and here, you do have the work space, okay? But with the first look, once you look here in this screen for the first time, you guys might be thinking, Okay, this one looks quite tough, because there are different options. Okay, here you do have one box. Here you do have another box here you do have the toolbar, here you do have the work screen, and also underneath, you do have the timeline over here as well. But here if you do want to change it, Okay, the preferences, you guys can come here onto the edit option from the manuba on top and here, go to the preferences option. So from here, if you want to actually increase the resolution of this display, you guys can come here and increase the resolution or the scaling of this particular workspace from here, okay? And once you're done, you guys can come here and also put on different kind of add ons. If you want to take out different kind of add ons, you guys can come here and can put different kind of add ons here as well. But for now, I will just keep it the way it is right now, and I will just cancel this thing. So now, once this workspace is actually understood, and I have told you guys and give you guys an introduction about blenders, how to actually come here to this workspace, how to download this application. In next class, we'll learn how you will be able to navigate inside the application as well. So I hope to see you all in the next chapter, where we'll be learning more about the blender application and three D modeling. So see you all in the next chapter, tell them, take care and goodbye, everyone. Okay. 3. Doing 3D navigation: Hello, everyone, and welcome you to another chapter of the Blender Essential tutorial. So now we are on our chapter number two, where we'll be doing three D navigation. Okay? So I'll be telling you guys how to navigate through the work spaces of blender here in this particular chapter. So I'll be telling you guys many options, but you guys can select which one is the most suitable option for you. It's not that you need to learn each and every options of how to navigate over here. So let's not waste time and let's get started. Here, as you guys can see, now, I'm here in the work space of the blender. So now over here, you guys can see this is basically the three D model, according to which I will actually navigate my workspace. So here you guys can see this total workspace is basically divided into four parts, okay? So this one is one panel right over here, which is the main workspace, and about this only, we are going to learn over here, and most of the work, which you will do will be over here only. So guys will be talking about the three D view panel over here, And next, we will be learning later about the timeline, about here this properties panel, this layer panel right over here. Okay? So now, basically, first off, for navigation, we need to learn about this gizmos over here on top. Okay? So here you guys can see the x axis, the y axis, and the Z axis over here. Now, if I click here into the zoom in and zoom out in the view, if I just click here, let's say I will just click this one once, and if I just scroll down my mouse, you guys can see I am zooming in, and if I just scroll out my mouse, here you guys can see, I am just zooming out. Now if I just take this hand icon, and using the hand icon now, if I just move my mouse, you guys can see I am able to change the perspective of the icons which I have present over here, or the three D model. So here you guys can see, I can actually change or I can actually change the position of those icons here on my screen using the hand tool. So this was about how you'll be able to move the view from one place to another, and this was for zooming in. So here it was about zooming in and zooming out over here. And now here you guys can see, there is another option over here. So if you want to see, this is basically the user perspective. Okay? Now, if you want to have this one as a camera perspective. This is how you guys can actually have the camera perspective over here. And if you just turn this back off again, here, you guys can basically see this is the user perspective. So basically, you guys will be able to check what is the camera perspective and we'll be learning more about detail about all of this. But as we're learning about navigation, we need to know all of these basic things. Okay. And next comes the perspective and the orthographic projection. So now, over here, if I just turn it off, here you guys can see. Now, this particular cube over here is in the orthographic option. So here you guys can see how the cubes or how the margins have changed over here. And if I turn it back on again, here you guys can see the view or the greed option have changed over here in the background. So this one is the user perspective option, and over here, you do have the user orthographic option. So you guys can turn it on and off according to your liking over here. And this was about the basic navigation. And here using the Gizmos, if you want to move the X axis. You guys can come here and basically move the x axis from here. And let's say you want to move on the y axis from here, if you want to view it here on top, you guys can come here, and you guys can basically view it from the top or the sides as well. And if you want to change the z axis, you guys can come here and you guys can actually check the z axis from here. As well. Okay. So this was about this Gizmos, and if you want to see the back, you guys can directly click onto the Z minus, which will show you the down part of this perdicular model. And if you want to see it in a rotate view, here you guys can see. This is basically the bottom orthographic. Okay, so this is the bottom orthographic view. Let's say I want to see The top. Okay. So here you guys can see. Now, this is the right orthographic option. And if you just want to change its view, you guys can come here. If this one is not selected, what you guys can do is using the hand tool. You guys can just click on to this hand tool from here, and if you want to move, you guys can come here and you guys can move from side wise as well. So you guys will be able to move it quite from here as well. Let's just change the y axis from here again. Okay? So this is how you guys will be able to work with the gis moose options over here. Sometimes using all of this, you guys can actually do the navigation. But let's say you are working on a particular model over here. Now each and every time you should not come here to just zoom in or zoom out. This one is hectic. To make your work easier, what you need to do over here is you need to select three key mouse, which do have wheeler as well. Now if you do have three key mouse. In that case, I'll show you how you will be able to navigate quite easily. Okay? So if you just come here, if you just drag the wheel of your mouse, here you guys can see, this is how you guys can zoom in, and this is how you guys will be able to zoom out using the wheel of your mouse. Okay? So this is one way. And let's say now if you click on shift, and now if you select a object and if you just click on the Middle Webdon and if you try to move it, if you just try to move it from here, you guys will be able to zoom in and zoom out as well. Okay? So if you come here, let's click on shift. Let's click on the middle icon, and here you guys can see that now I am able to move on the perspective of my video using shift. And the middle mouse button. So here you guys can see using the three mouse, I would recommend that you guys buy before to start creating different models, which will make your work quite easier over here in this particular model. So here you guys can see I am able to do the same work of the hand tool using only the keys. So now once you're done, you can place it. And now, if you just click on Control and click on the middle key, if you guys just move forward, it will just zoom in, and if you move your mouse backward, you guys can see it will just zoom out. Okay? So you guys can just zoom in and basically zoom out using control from here as well. Okay? So this is how you guys will be able to do all of this navigation. Okay? And suppose let's say you do have a mouse or you don't have a mouse right now. So only you do have your computer mouse pad. Okay. So here if you're using a laptop, if you only do have your smart screen from where you will be able to use it as a mouse. There also you guys can just select the key of shift. And using your two fingers, what you guys can do is you guys can just zoom in. So if I just click on shift. And now, if I just click on Control, and now I will just click on the minus button. And here you guys can see, I can zoom in and I can just zoom out. And also, let's say I will just zoom out a more as well. Let's click on Control. And now I will just click over here, and now I will just zoom out from here as well. And the same way if I click on shift and using this, if I want to move out the perspective, I can just move on the perspective from here as well. Okay? So, this was about if you don't have a mouse with you, And suppose you do have a mouse, but your mouse doesn't have three keys. It only consists of two keys. In that case, what do you need to do. The first thing, what you have to do over here is you guys can come here into your workspace, go to your menu bar over here on top. And from the menu bar, you guys can select the edit option. So from edit, what you guys can do is you guys go to the preferences option, and from preferences, you guys can select the input option right over here. So on the input, here you guys can see You guys can now select the emulate three button mouse. You guys can come here and turn on this particular option. From here, now close this one down, and now your left key of your mouse will work as the middle key from now. If you come here and let's say I will just select somewhere outside. And now, if I click on Control, And now, if I just click on shift, and if I just move out my mouse, I will be able to do it from here as well. So here you guys can see. This is how you guys will be able to move your model. Okay? So this is how you guys will be able to move your model. And the same way, using control if you want to zoom in. You guys can come here and using control, you guys can zoom in and zoom out as well. So this is how you guys can do it if you only do have a two key mouse as well. Now, let's say you have understood this particular part. Now, if you want to use numbering or preferences, how you will be able to do that. Let's say you want to see only the top over here. So it's not easy each and every time coming here and actually using the hand tool from here and using it, you guys can't each and every time select the x axis, and now let's select the y axis from here and now view these things quite like this. Okay, so it will be easier. If you come here and let's go to the edit option, and from the edit option, what you can do is you guys can go to the preferences and from preferences, make sure to come here and go to the num pad. Okay? So if you want to enimate the num pad, I will be telling you guys about all of these options from there as well. But for now, if you want to view only this particular place. Let's say I want to view this model only from top. Okay? So, in that case, you guys can come here and you guys will be able to give these things up our rotation, so you guys can come here and you guys can actually select the num pad from here. You guys can select or see the user perspective view, and also the user orthographic view as well. So now, over here, let's say I am lost, now I did some place and now I am lost from here. So now, how I will go back to my same model on the same place. If I just mess up somewhere. So for that, I don't have to worry. What I need to do is under my menu ba, I do have few options, a Here you guys can see the object mode, the view option. I will come here, and I will select the view option from here. And what I can do is I can come here and I can select the option called frame selected. Okay? So now, select as I had selected this particular icon before, again, I am back over here at the object, okay? And let's say now I do have with some other places, and I did select this one, okay? So in that case, again, how I will be able to go back here in the center is if I come here, go to the view option again. And here, now, if you click on frame all icon, what you'll be able to see, is now, you will be able to see that all the icons which you have here in the three D view will come here in front of you. So here you guys can see this is the icon, this is another icon right over here, and this is the main three D model. Okay. So now I have all of these things right over here again, back on my screen, okay? So the shortcut key for framing together is home key from your keyboard. Okay? And now, let's try to see that if you want to view this particular model or this three D model over here from different kind of view angles or different kind of viewpoints, how you will be able to do that. Okay? So using the Gizmos over here, you guys can actually view it. Otherwise, I will tell you guys the shortcut as well. So now, if you come here into the view option, and from view option, you guys can go into the viewpoint option right here on top. Okay. So here you guys can see now if you want to view your model from top. You guys can click here and from here, now you are able to view your model from the top. And the same way, if you want to view this one from the bottom, you guys can see now you are able to view this particular model from bottom. So again, go to view and from here, if you want to see it from the sides I want to see it from the right side. Here this is basically the right side view. And here you guys can see this is the right orthographic mode. So here you guys can see on the left hand side, you will have the name of the sides as well. Go to viewpoint. Let's select top and here you guys can see. This is basically the top orthographic mode. And from here, there are different shortcut keys. Okay? If you go here in the viewpoint for the camera, here you guys can see the zero in your keypad over here. Okay. So if in your mouse, you don't have a keypad or the word key, I will tell you what to do to use this particular application. In your system as well. Okay? So now, if you come here, if you look at all of the sml case, here you guys can see in the numeric pad, this one is zero, in the neuromeric pad, if you want to view the top, here you guys can see, it's seven. And here you guys can see for the front view is one from the numeric pad and three, to have a side view or the right and left view. Okay? So, for me, what I will remember is I will remember these three keys, which is the front, the side or the right one, one, three, and the number path seven, which is the top view. And also, I will show you how you can use the zero and also how you'll be able to use the number five option. Okay, suppose now if you want to get a camera view, you guys can just click on zero. And here you guys can see the camera perspective. Here on top as well, you guys can see the navigation shows that this one is a camera perspective. And again, if I click on zero, again, I am back again at the top orthographic view, okay? So the same way if I click on one from my keyboard, this is basically the front orthographic view. If I click three, this is the right orthographic view of my model over here. And if I click on seven, here you guys can see this is the top orthographic mode right over here as well. Using this shortcut keys, you guys can actually use. A here, in my laptop, I do have the numeric pad. Let's say your computer, it doesn't have a numeric pad over here. So in that case, how you will be able to get a front view side view and also how you will be able to navigate the back or the front view as well. Now, I will come here. I will go here onto the edit option. And from here, I will go to preferences. And here I will again come into the input option right over here. Let's turn off the emulate three button mouse, and I'll come here just next on top and I will on the emulate numpad option. So what it will basically do is the existing numbers which you have here on your keyboard, it will automatically turn into the numeric pad. Okay, so you guys can come here. Now, if you just come here and let's say I will just cancel this thing out. And from my keypad, if I just click on one now, here you guys can see the front view. If I click on five, here you guys can see. I do have the perspective view. Over here, and now I do have the orthographic view over here as well. Now again, I will come here into the edit option as I already do have my numb pad here on my laptop. I can go to preferences, and I can turn off the emulate numpad option from here. So I will just cancel this thing out. And this was about different kind of viewpoints at which you will be able to look all these things out, so you guys can go to viewpoint. And here you guys can check all of the shortcut keys, which will actually help you to make a nice three day animation and save your time as well. Okay? And here also using this gizmos from here also, if I just want to view it from the X axis or from the right orthopedic option. Okay. You guys can come here and From here, you guys will be able to see it in the right orthographic option. If you want to see the Z axis, you guys can come here and you guys can see it in a top orthographic option as well. So yeah, I have told you guys about many types of navigation tools and navigation systems of how you will be able to do it. If you do have a three way mouse or if you have a two key mouse, if you do have no mouse at all and how you will be able to select different viewpoints over here, how to use all these gizmos on top right corner of your three D view panel as well. So yeah, I hope to see you guys in the next chapter where we'll be learning more about selection. Take care, everyone. See you all in the next chapter. 4. Selecting objects: Hello, everyone, and welcome you to another chapter of the Blender Essential tutorial. So now we are on our chapter number three. And here, I'll be selecting objects in blender, okay? So we'll be learning about the selection tool and how you how you'll be able to make selections from in the outliner panel. Okay? So we'll be learning about how you will be able to select objects differently. So yeah, let's not waste time, and let's get started. So here, as you guys can see, now, I am here in the work space of the blender. So now from here, what I need to do is I need to select these files. Okay? So there is a simple way of how you will be able to select this icons from here. So if you just left click on your mouse onto that particular object, here it will get selected. So I do have selected the cube from here. And if you want to select the camera, you guys can come here and select the camera from here, and also over here, you can select the light angle as well, okay? So here, if you select using the left key of your mouse, here you guys can see individually, you guys can select each and every icons from here. Okay? So basically, if you want to select it from here, you guys can basically select it from here itself, from the screen. Otherwise, what you guys can do is here just beside the three D v panel. I do have this other panel, which is basically called as the outline panel. So basically, if you want to select the light, you guys come here, select on the outline panel, and here you guys can see this light is getting selected. If you want to select the cube, you guys can come here and select the cube using the left key of your mouse. Okay? And if you want to select, here you guys can see, the highlight is kind of different over here. Okay. So here you guys can see these two have a different color of highlight. And here also you guys can see highlight of this color. Okay? So in last class, I've already showed you that how you will be able to change the viewpoint of this particular icon. If you come here, go to view, let's say I will just click on frame all. And here, everything, all the objects which I have over here, I can see on my screen, okay? All are visible right over here. Let's say now, if you want to select more than one, object from here, okay? So if you want to select the light and the cube. So what you need to do is you can come here and click on Control and you guys can just select both of this thing. Here you guys can see the highlight of this cube is basically kind of light. Okay? And here, this one is a dark orange color. Okay? So here you guys can also see. If you come here and if you just select the camera option all by itself, here you guys can see the highlight color is a different over here as well. You guys can come here and let's say if you want to select all of it, at the same time, you guys can come here, click on the shift option, and it will actually select all the layers or all the objects which you have here in between, so you guys can click on shift and select all of it, and here you guys can check between the colors and the highlight colors. So here all these three objects are getting selected. And over here, you guys can see you do have the light, the cube, and the camera as well. So now, if you basically look here into this pset panel, here you guys can see if you just click outside out of all these options, okay, you guys can just deselect all of these things. Now I'm not selecting anything right over here. But you need to understand that if you're selecting and just underneath over here, you do have, the property spanel. Okay. So this is basically called the property spanel where if you select the cube, you will have all the transformation option and the relations option, you will have regarding the cube itself. If you click on camera, here you guys can see. I do have this one set as the primary object. And here I do have this thing this options right over here. Now, let's take this one, and here also, you guys can see the options for light. Let's say now with shift, I will select both of it. And here you guys can see out of this this one is basically the primary object. So here this one is the primary layer or the primary object, as you guys can say, because this one was selected first comparing to this one. And let's say if you don't select anything right over here, and now if you select all these things together, here also you guys will be able to see cube. Now, if I come here and if I select this camera over here, and now I will just select all of this together. And let's say over here now, this one is basically the camera is the Subjective object. Okay? So here it will show all the options regarding the camera. So if you want to come here and if you want to change it, basically, write down from here only, you guys can do it from this particular panel, which is just on top over here under the camera option. So you guys can just click on this arrow option and you'll have all those options right over here. So if you are not selected with anything, basically, they will be actually showing you the last one. And now here you guys can see now I do have the cube marked as the main or the subject object over here. Okay. So this was about how you will be able to select different objects from this offset panel, as well as from your three D view panel as well. Okay? So now, this was about the selecting subject. And also, I'll be showing you guys that how you will be able to deselect. Let's say if you come here and if you just select all of this, instead of coming here, let's go to this menu from here, and from here, I can just come to the edit option. Otherwise, I will come here and I will just go to the select option. If you come here, let's say now I want to select. I can click on, and the shortcut key for that over here is Alt plus A. And if you want to select all, if you just click on A, everything over here in your screen will be selected. Suppose you do have a lot of objects over here. Okay? And now you are not able to click outside of the object. So in that case, you guys can come here into the select option and click on All. Otherwise, you guys can just click A from your keyboard and everything will be selected. So here I just put A. And again, if I come here and if I just select none, which is t A, so I can come here and click on At so I will just deselect everything. So again, if I come here, go to the select option. Let's say I will just select only this camera layer. And now, Let's come here and let's go to the select option again. And now, if I just invert this one, except this one, which I had selected first, all the other objects will get selected. So I have just inverted the selection. And now, if you go to select, if you want to use the box select you guys can actually use. I'll be showing you guys about all of that here in detail now. So here you guys can see under this, I do have different kind of options, okay If you just click and hold onto your right side of your mouse, You guys can see. Now, if you just click over here, and let's say I want to select using box. So I can come here. I can just select that particular option, the select box option. Let's say I want to select this camera. So here I can just take one or two objects, or if I have so many objects, which I want to select using a box, I will be able to do that. Okay. So this was about the select box option. And if you want to select in a circle, you guys can come here, and you guys can basically create a circle. Okay? So here using the circle. You guys can come here and let's say you guys can just select this thing up. Okay? So using the circle, you guys can actually select. Let's say, let's create a lasso. Okay? So if I come here and if I select Lasso tool, here using the asso, I will be able to select a particular object. Here you guys can see I have only selected the camera, and the light in the opposite panel over here on the right and top corner. Okay? So this is the usage of lasso tool. If you want to select select this whole area, you guys can see, I am selecting all of these three objects present in my screen over here. Okay? So this was about the usage of the tools over here. So any tools over here on the left hand side, if they do have a small triangle box just underneath here inside. That means you need to know that they do have other options as well. Okay, so here you guys can see they do have a lot of options for that. So this one also have some arrows. So let's see here also, you do have a lot of options. If you come to this one, here also, you do have two options, and this one do have four options right over here. So now what I can do is I can come here, go to the selecto, Now, let's say, if I want to select everything here, whichever is there in my box. So what I can do is I can come here and create a box quite like this. And let's say if I want to minus only those parts, I can come here or if I want to merge, what I can do is I can come here and I can just click on this extend existing selection. Okay, so you guys can just click on this one. And afterwards, if you want to subtract it from the existing selection, you guys can come here, and I will just select all of this. Let's say I will just select this one. And what I can do is if I come here and if I just give up this particular mode, or if I come here and if I select the intersect existing selection, you guys can see the changes, okay? So if I come here and over here, if I want to just select more, more objects over here, if I want to actually extend the existing selection, I can do that. Okay, so let's come here and over here. Now if I just select this whole selection option, now, let's come here and let's select this particular object as well. Now, if I will come here and if I will just invert, here you guys can see it will get inverted. Now let's come here. Let's go to this option. Now if you come here and if you select the interset existing selection, here you guys will be able to see the changes. Okay? This is how you guys will be able to select objects in your screen, and also we'll be able to make selection using all of these tools of tweak the select box. If you want to do it using select circle, you guys can actually do that. If you come here, let's say, I will just select this one. Okay, so I will come here and now I will just use select box. So let's create a box over here. Then I will come here. Let's just take this one, now, select box. Here you guys can see. Now I have selected both of this. And now if I come here and if I just do the vice versa, you guys will be able to see the changes, okay? So you guys can actually use if you're familiar with Autobytrator, it's kind of works like the Pathfinder two in Autobtraightor. Okay? So yeah, I hope you guys have got an basic idea. About how you will be able to select objects in blender. Now, let's come here and let's go to the select mode. And here, if you want to select with a circle, you guys can come here. I have already showed you here you guys can see using circle, you guys can come here and you guys can actually select these objects. And if you just click on outside over here, you guys can come here and let's say I will go to the select option or let's come here. Let's go back So, yeah, I hope to see you all in the next chapter, where we'll be learning more about transformation in blender. Okay? So take care of everyone. Keep on practicing if you're not understanding at once. Keep on practicing again and again. Okay? A this is a new application, it might take some time for you to adopt with it. So see you all in the next chapter, tell them, take care and goodbye, everyone. 5. Transforming objects: Hello, everyone, and welcome to our class of Blender Essential tutorial. So now we are on Chapter number four. And here we will be transforming objects in blender. Okay? So in last class, we have known that how you will be able to select an object. Okay, how you will be able to select multiple object. And also, I have told you guys about the usage of the num pad for the angle. Okay? So we'll be learning about all of that here in detail in this particular chapter. So let's not waste time and let's get started. So here, as you guys can see. Now, I'm here in the work space of the blender. Okay. So now from here, I will try to transform all of these things. Okay? So let's say I will take this particular cube over here, and now I will come here into my properties panel. Okay? So here you guys can see the cube is selected, and under this, I do have the transform option. Okay, so over here, you guys can see I do have four options over here. Okay, which is the location. The rotation mode and the scaling option. Okay? So let's say you want to actually move this thing towards the x axis, okay? So you guys can come here and let's say I will type two. Okay? So if I type two and click on Enter, here you guys can see it had moved moved up to 2 meters over here. Okay. So now if I just click again, let's say five, and if I just click Enter, here you guys can see. Now it had moved, through the x axis. So this red line over here is basically the x axis. If you look into all of this, you will get up a better idea. Okay, here you guys can see the color representation. Okay? So now here once you just hover, if you want to do precisely, you guys can come here, let's say 5.2, 5.4, and this is how you guys can basically move on very slowly. And if you want to drag, you guys can come here. Let's say when you hover over this particular option from here, if you just double click or If you just hold your left mouse here, you guys can see you guys can basically move this through the x axis. So now let's keep it right over here in the center again. And now, if you want to move this one through the y axis. You guys can come here and do the same thing again. Okay so you guys can just move this through the y axis over here as well. And now, if you want to move this towards the z axis, you guys can come here and you guys can move up. Or you can move down. Okay. So for now, I will just keep these things quite like this. And also, let's say now, what you want to do is you want to come here and you want to change all of this together. Okay? So if you want to change the x axis, the y axis, and the z axis, all at once, in that case, what you need to do is you need to come here, click on your left side of your mouse and just drag this one. To the Z axis, okay? So now just click it right over here. And now you guys can just put on any amount. Let's say seven, and I will click on Enter. And over here, you guys can see now if I come here, go to view option. Okay, so let's go to the view option, and from here, let's click on frame A. So here you guys can see the location of my cube have basically changed. So again, you guys can come here, and now you guys can just hold your mouse, and here you guys can see. This is how you guys will be able to do the movement right from here. Okay? So this is how you guys will be able to transform your objects. And now, again, I will come here. Let's take this thing here in the center. Okay, so I will just keep this thing right over here. And now let's just zoom in again. Okay. And also here, what you'll be able to do is let's say you want to do some plus or minus thing. Like if I come here and if I put eight minus two, and if I click on Enter, here you guys can see, I already do have the sum, which is six. And here you guys can see the position of my cube over here have changed. So you guys can actually use different kind of numeric keys, such as subtraction, multiplication. If you want to divide, you guys can also divide some numbers. Okay, you guys will be able to do that. Now, if you want me to check the y axis and let's come here, let's put this one over here in the center. Okay, so I will just place it right over here in the center. And now, if you want me to zoom in, I can just zoom in using control plus. So I can come here and I can basically zoom in quite like this and using the he Okay. So over here, using the hand tool, you guys can just move up your workspace as well. So I want to see my cube or all the objects over here. Okay. So this was all about the location, like wherever you want to put up your cube. Okay? And let's say if you don't want to change it. Now, you have finalized this particular length, so you guys can come here and you guys can actually lock this thing out. So you guys can come here and you guys can basically lock the X axis. And now I will just right over here, and now you won't be able to change this particular number. Okay. So here you guys can see now it is basically locked. Okay. So this was about the x y axis. And also, if you come over here, let's go with control plus. Let's come to this particular point. And now you guys can also put on different units. Let's say instead of meters, I will put CM. So if I just click on Enter, here you guys can see, now I will come again. Let's say let's put five feet. Okay? So if I click on Enter, here you guys can see five feet equals to 1.524 meters. So this is the unit right over here. And if you want to change the unit, what you need to do is here just beside the property spanel, you guys can see here I do have different type of tools. So over here, I will come on top, and this scene option, okay? So these are the scene properties. I will click on this and over here, I will go into this units option. Okay? So I will come here, click onto the units option from here. And from here, I will be able to change that. Do I want it as a metric unit? Or do I want it as an imperial unit? Okay, so I can come here, select those, and here for rotations, do I want radians, here you guys can see, do I want degrees, okay? And here under length, you guys can take kilometers, centimeters, or millimeters over here as well. And also for mass here, it is calculated as kilograms and for time, it's given seconds over here. So you guys will be able to change all of this thing separately, all the units over here if you want to. But now I will just keep how it is. For length, I'll take meters. Let's come to the units. And from here, now, what I'll do is I will come here back again onto this object properties. Okay? And now I'll be showing you guys about rotation. Okay? So if I just come here and let's say I want to give this one up a rotation. So I can come here. I can just click on this one, and I can just change the rotation. On the x axis first. So here you guys can see. I can give rotation on the x axis. If I want to give rotation to the y axis, here you guys can see, I can give rotation to the y axis from here as well. And if I want to give rotation to the z axis, this is how I will be able to give rotation to the Z axis as well. Okay? So this is how you guys can actually work. And if you want to select all three altogether, make sure to click on your mouse and just drag and drop down. Let's come here. Let's drag And now, what I'll do is if I put on five and if I click on Enter, here you guys can see altogether, all of these things are basically changing. So come here. Let's change the y axis as well. Okay, so let's come here and now, let's change the x axis. So come here, put up the x axis. And if you want to come here and give this one or bring this one a little front. So yeah, this one looks good. And now, if you want to scale it up, let's say you want to scale it up from the x axis. So now I will just zoom out. So let's come here. Let's click here and let's just zoom out. And now, if you want to scale, you guys can come here and you guys can see it is just scaling on the x axis. And the same way, if you want to scale it to the y axis, you guys can see it is scaling to the y axis. And now, if you want to scale it through the Z axis. You guys can come here and you guys can select the Z axis from here as well. Now, if you want to move on the location, you guys can come here and basically move on the location as well. Let's change the y axis a little bit over here as well. Let's come here and now, I want to basically change the rotation as well. Okay, so I will come here and x axis. I will just change right over here. Let's check the y axis. Okay, so I will just keep this thing quite like this. Okay. So here you guys can see now I do have this particular cube, and I have changed the scaling from here as well. Okay? And over here, also for transformation, we guys can also use few of these options right over here on the left hand side. Okay? So here, you guys can see this is basically the move tool. So using the move tool, if I come here and if I select the move tool, let's click here onto the object. If I want to move it towards the y axis, I can basically move it towards the y axis. If I want to come here and if I want to move it towards the x axis, I can come here and move this thing towards the x axis as well. And also, if I want to move it towards the z axis, I can come here. And basically, I will be able to move it towards the z axis as well. Okay. So now if you select this one, let's say, if you come here and using this particular thing, you guys can just move with a free hand. Okay, so you guys can come here and move freehand right over here in this particular option. And now you guys can come here and you guys can just place it wherever you want. Okay. So here you guys can actually rotate free hand using the move too, and also here you guys do have the rotation tool. Okay. So over here, you guys can see. Now, using this one, you guys can basically give this thing up a rotation. Okay. So from here, if you want to do precisely, you guys can come here and you guys can give some precise rotation. Okay, so let's come here and let's give this one or this y axis over here. And now if you want to change the z axis, you guys select this one, and now you guys can select it at the z axis. Come here. And if you want to give any rotation to the y axis, you guys can come here and give this thing up a rotation on the y axis, and if you want to give this one a free hand rotation, you guys can come here and select the middle part and give this one a free hand rotation. And let's say you come here and you select the x axis. And from here, now, what you're going to do is you want to have some calculated rotation. So you guys click on control, and now here you guys can see the rotation is quite smooth, okay? And here you do have some options where you will be able to see that how much you are rotating over here. And if you want more professional than that, click on shift from your keyboard, select there, and here you guys can see now you are able to view the rotation quite perfectly. This is how you guys can actually select your options. Let's say if I come here and if I want to transform this one, I will come here, let's go to the transform option. And now from here, I will just drag this one and send it a bit back. Okay, I will keep my object right over here. This was about how you will be able to transform the object. Okay. So now let's come here and let's go to the scale tool. So over here, if I want to scale this through the x axis. What I can do is I can come here, select this item, and here you guys can see, it's actually scaling up in the x axis. And the same way, if I want to scale it up in the y axis, here you guys can see. I can change it up to the y axis, and also I can change the z axis from here as well. Okay. So now let's take my hand tool. And now, what I can do is I can just move this thing up right over here. And now I will just zoom out, over here, I will just rotate this one, and let's say if you want to resize, also the height and also the length, the y axis and the z axis, I can do it from here. And now from here, I can change the x axis and the y axis, okay? So over here, you guys can see I am able to change the x axis and the y axis over here, not the z axis over here on top. Okay. So I hope you guys have understood the usage of this particular part as well. If you want to change individually, you guys can change individually. If you want to change, two of the volume at once, then you guys can come here and click and drag the middle part, and both of that will be selected and we'll be able to increase the size and decrease the size as well. Okay? So now, let's say what you want to do is you want to actually get the default x axis, okay? So what you need to do to go back is you just need to hover your mouse over that number and click on back space, and over here, you guys can see now it had become zero. Okay? So now, if you come here, let's say I will just hover my mouse over that one, and I will click on minus, and here you guys can see, Now this is how it actually looks. And let's say now if you want to get back all those settings. If you want to undo, what you guys can do is you guys can click on Control Z. Here you guys can see using Control Z. You guys can basically redo. And if you want to you can do over here. And also, if you want to redo, what you can do is you guys can click on Control Shift and Z. And here you guys can see. Now it's just redoing itself. Okay. So this is how you guys can actually use this one. And now, let's say if you come over here and if you directly click on back space, you guys can see all this will actually go, all of these values will be deleted. But without doing that, there is another way how you will be able to do that is if you come here and let's go to the object option. And from object, you guys can go to the clear option from here, if you want to clear the rotation. You guys can come here and click on R, and over here, you guys can see the value of rotation have just been gone to default, okay? So this is how you guys can actually do that. And let's say if you come here and if you do or if you want to get default of all these things again, I want to scale this back to zero again. So from here again, I will go to object. I will go to clear. Okay. So here I'll go object. From here, I will go to clear and from clear, I will go to the scale option. Okay, so I will come here, and I am back over here again at the same default size, which I had here at the beginning. So you guys can come here and let's take my hand tool and let's just move it up. Okay. So this was about all of this, like here in this particular chapter, that's how you will be able to give this thing one upper rotation. But now, let's all see here, I have already told you that if you do have a small triangle under any of these boxes over here, you need to know that you do have another tool. So I just need to click on the left side of my mouse, and let's go and let's click on scale cage. Okay? So now over here, you guys can see that you do have a lot of this dotted options, so you guys can come here, click on those options and scale it up accordingly, okay? So you guys if you guys are familiar with Photoshop, then you guys might be familiar with this, but just think that you were doing this in just a three d dimension. Okay, so come here, click here, and this is how you guys can just scale this thing up. Okay, so over here, you guys can see the scaling options. Let's say I want to scale it from the back side, so you guys can come here and scale it from the back side. Let's say I will come here, and I will increase the size from here, or I want to just increase the size from this particular end. Okay, you guys can come here, select this dots, and you guys can increase the size. Or decrease the size accordingly. So now let's just increase it from this side and let's increase it from the back as well. You guys can come here and place it quite like this. Okay. So this is how you guys will be able to scale up and down. Okay? And now, this one is basically the transform option, which is all in one. Okay? So if you come here and if you click on this transform option, let's say if I select this one. So over here now, I will be able to scale it up as well. If I do want to scale it up, I can come here and now I can just move this one as well, and let's say if I want to give this one up a rotation, I can give this one up a rotation over here as well. Now if I want to change up any axis, I can come here and I can change up any axis as well. You guys can come here, select all of this option. You guys can see you guys will also be able to give this one up some rotation. And also if you just want to change the x axis, let's say you guys can see, you are only able to give rotation to the x axis right over here. Also, you guys will be able to give this one up a rotation here as a free hand. As you guys can see, come here and give this one up a free hand rotation. And now just place it quite like this. Now if you just zoom out, and here you guys can see how this object actually looks. Now, let's come here and if you want to give this one a free hand rotation, you guys can come here and place this thing accordingly. Come here. Let's say, put this one right over here. And now I will just place this thing quite like here. And what I'm going to do is I'm going to change the size here in the x axis. I will come here and I will just change the size here in the x axis. And this is how I will basically put So here, now for some of you, if you guys come here and over here, only by default, you guys will be able to see the scaling option, the rotation option, and also the location option. So for that, that might be because over here on top, here if you click on this down button of Show Gizmo, over here, you guys can come and you guys can click onto the move rotation and the scaling option right over here on top. Okay, so if you just click on Move, rotate and scale, and now if you click on Enter, now if I select this object, by default, I will be able to see all of these things, okay? So if I do want to scale it, or if I want to give this thing up rotation or move it. I can come here and I can just move this up. Okay, if I do want to move this through this axis or if you want to give this one up rotation. And if you do want to move, you guys can come here and basically move free hand as well. Okay. So now what I'll do again is I will come here, and I will just turn all of this off. Okay, so I will come here and I'll just turn all this off, click on Enter. And now, let's say, if I select this one, let's come here and now I will just select the default, and I'll click right over here. And now let's take my selection tool, or I'll go to the select box. So now, what will happen is most of the time we do use the select tool, so it will be selected the most of the time. So for that, what we need to do is we need to learn some of the shortcut keys, what you can use while transforming your object. So now to see that, let's go to the object option and on top only, I do have the transform option. So now, If you want to move your object, you guys can click on G. If you want to rotate your object, you guys can click on r, and if you want to scale it up, you guys can just scale it up using S. Okay. So now let's just remember this. These are very basic. Okay, the first word of first letter of that particular word. Now if I want to move, for that, what I need to do is I need to come here and if I click on Now, here, let's lick this one. Let's click on, and here you guys can see. Now I will be able to move. Okay, now here you guys can see G R S. Let's come here. Let's click on G. And now you guys can see. Now I will be able to move it along, okay? So if I click on G, and now I can actually move it around quite like this. So now if I click right over here, and now if I just click on G, so now, I'll click on G and using my mouse, I am able to just move it around. Okay? So I just clicked on G. And after that, if I want to rotate this thing, so if you want to just place it somewhere, what you can do is you guys can just click on the left side, or you can just click on Enter to place to that particular space. So now let's come here and let's click on R. And from here, now you guys can see with my mouse, I am able to give this thing one up a rotation. Okay? So this are a few of the easiest ways. And also now, let's say you do have given the rotation. You guys can just click on the left side of your mouse. Okay? So here you guys can see. I do have given this thing up a rotation as well. So now, the next thing is Here you guys can see to scale it. I will come here, and I will click on S. So here, you guys can see if you want me to scale this thing up. This is how I can actually scale all this thing up here as well. Now I will click on Enter and this place will be pasted. So again, the same thing, if I want to use it to separately do the X axis, y axis, and the axis. So for that now for location or for move, I will just click on G. So here, I will just click on G. And now let's click on X. So over here, you guys can see. Now I am able to move this thing up here in the x axis. And now if I just click on y, here you guys can see. Now I will be able to move this thing through the y axis. Now if you want to do it in the Z axis, click on Z, and this is how you guys will be able to move this thing apart. So now if you click on Enter, it will come quite like this. And the same way if you click on S, right now, let's just de select this. Let's select this object, and let's click on S. And now, if I do want to only increase the scale, of the y axis, then I will click on Y on my keyboard, and now here you guys can see, I am able to change the y axis. And the same way, I will click on Enter and if I do want to give this thing up rotation, so I will click on R from the keyboard, and now I will click on x. So I will just click on x. And over here, you guys can see, now I am only giving this thing a rotation in the x axis. I will just click on Enter. And also, if I just click on, for scaling, or I will just click on R for rotation. And now I will just click on the Z axis. So I can come here and here you guys can see I am able to give this thing up a rotation on the z axis. So I will come here. Let's place it quite like this, click on Enter. And here, if I just zoom out, you guys can see the position of this particular cube or this object right over here. Okay. So this was some of the basic transformation tools. Description of how you will be able to use this, how you'll be able to use the select box, how you'll be able to use the cursor, and also the move tool over here, how you'll be able to rotate. And also here you do have the scale cage, and also you do have the basic scaling option. And also, this is the transform tool. So this is how you guys will be able to transform all the objects present over here, okay? And also, I've showed you that how you will be able to change the value or the unit from here of each and every transformation option. So all these things, you guys will be able to also do with the light and the camera option from here as well or this camera layer. Okay. So yeah, I hope you guys have understood this class. So I hope to see you all in the next chapter, where we'll be learning more about blender in detail. So take care of everyone, see you all in the next chapter. Okay. 6. Understanding about the adding, deleting and 3D cursor: Hello, everyone, and welcome you all to another chapter of blender Essential tutorial. So now we are on our Chapter number five, where we'll be understanding about the adding, deleting, and three D cursor, okay? So we'll be learning how you can actually add different kind of icons, different kind of cubes, different gles and also different card of lights over here. We'll be understanding how you'll be able to delete all those as well, and also what are the usage of the three Dcursor over here. We'll be learning about all of these things in detail. So let's not waste time. And let's get started. So over here, as you guys can see. Now, I'm here in the home page or the work space of the blender. So now from here, if you want to let's say if you want to select this cube and you want to now delete this particular cube. What you need to do is there are basically different ways of how you will be able to delete this particular thing. One is if you come here, click on this particular cube, and after that, if you come here, right click on your mouse and over here, you guys can see that you do have the delete option at the last, so you guys can come here and click onto the delete option, and over here, this particular Q have been deleted. Okay? So the same way, you will be able to select other objects from here on the screen. And if you click on x, here you guys can see that this type of pop up window will come to confirm that do you want to delete it or not? Okay, so you guys can come here and just click on Delete. And let's say I do have this particular light object as well. And instead of doing it from the three D view panel, what I want to do is I want to do it, from this particular panel right over here on top. So I can just right click over here, and here you guys can see now I do have the delete option. Okay? So I can come here and I can just delete this thing up quite from here as well. And if you do have a delete key, so you guys can come here. Let's say I will select this, and now I will directly click on the delete key, and it will be deleted automatically right over here. Okay. So this is how you guys will be able to delete things from here. Now, let's say, again, I will just click on Control Z to bring this thing back. Let's say let's bring the camera also over here. And now, if you want to come here and if you want to delete only this particular part. In that case, what you need to do is select the object, go to the object option. And from here, you guys can see here also, you do have the Delete option. So if you click on Delete, it will get deleted automatically. Let's click on X. Here I do have the wording pop up, and I will click on Delete right over here. So now, if I just go back, if I just zoom out in the workspace, here you guys can see. Now I don't have any object right over here. But let's say now if I do want to add, okay? So I hope you guys are clear that how you will be able to delete objects from your three D view panel, Okay. And now, if you want to add it, here you guys can see, there is a small option called the add option. Okay? So over here, they will ask you that what you want to basically add. Okay. So under here in the mesh, if I come here and if I click on cube, here you guys can see over here at this particular point, I do have a cube. Okay? So now, if I want to add more, let's go to add and over here, now let's add another cube. But now I am not able to see the cube where it is. Because the cube which I had just created, it is actually over here in the center as well. Okay? So if I want to come over here and if I want to change the location, here you guys can see now I can just come here and basically location. So now I will come here. So now, this was basically created here from the center because here, as you guys can see, I do have my three Dcursor over here at the center. Okay? So wherever I do put my three decursor, it will just create new object over into that particular space. Okay? So now, let's say I will come here and I will just move my three decursor. And in case to do that, you need to come here into the tools, and from here, you need to select the cursor option. Okay? So now over here, I do have my three Dcursor now if I come here, go to the add option, and let's say if I want to add a circle, I can come here and basically I will be able to add up a circle. Okay? So over here, you guys can see. Now if I take my move tool and over here, you guys can see, I do have created one circle right over here. Okay? So now, Let's come here. Let's select this basi circle. Okay. And now over here, you guys can actually change the x axis. Okay. If you want to scale this, you guys can come here, and you guys can scale it up right over here as well. And also, if you want to just scale it, through the y axis or the x axis, you guys can come here and check the things out as well. So here you guys can see the Z axis. Also, I'm moving right over here. Now, let's come here and let's delete this one as well. Now, let's come here and let's put my cursor or the three D cursor right over here at this particular point, or let's click here. And now, what I'll do is I will add another object. So over here, if you want to put out any kind of text and stuff, you guys can do that. Over here, you do have the circle, the Basier circle, And now, over here, what I'll do is I will come here in the table option. And from here, now, what I can do is I can take this p sold option. Okay, so over here, you guys can see I do have a PSL option. Now, let's skip my cursor over here. The three D cursor. Let's click on Add, and let's come here and let's select the same thing right over here as well. Okay. So now, if I just move this thing right here, I will add another one over here as well. Let's go to Meta ball and let's select this one. And now, let's say I will take my selection tool. And from the selection tool now, what I'll do is I will just change its location from the y axis. So let's come here and let's change it on the y axis, and now, let's change it to the x axis. So as you guys can see, when both of these are actually coming at the same place, it's actually creating a connection. So over here, you guys can see this one is actually making up a connection. So now let's select this one. Let's come here. Let's select this. And from here. Now, if you do want to move the x axis, let's come here. Let's select this one. And from here, now I want to change the y axis. And here you guys can see the joint over here as well. Okay? So now here you guys can see. Now I do have joined all of this three path over here altogether. But here you guys can see all these 3 moles over here are actually separate layers. So I will come here if I want to add more. Let's take my cursor. And now I will just place this cursor right over here. And now let's click here on Add. Let's go to Mt ball, and now let's take a ball over here. Now if you want to transform this, you guys can come here and basically transform this as well. Now, let's say I want to work on with the x axis now. Okay, I can come here and I can just join these things quite over here as well. Okay? So if you just zoom in, let's control plus with my hand tool. Let's just move it up right over here, and over here, you guys can see basically the whole three D model. Okay? So if you want to see it as a camera view, you guys can come here and as right now, I don't have the camera over here. Okay, I do have deleted that one. Okay, so I can come here and also add a camera, over here as well. So over here, you guys can come here, click on camera. And now let's go back here, as I do have my cursor over here, it will basically show into that particular place itself. So now what you can do is now select all of this. Okay? So click on shift and now select all this. And now, if you want to move, you guys can come here, and you guys can actually move this thing up. So now let's say I want to actually change the x axis. Come here and come here and let's change the x axis of together. Okay, come here. Let's say if you want to select all this, you guys can click on shift, and you guys can select all of this. Otherwise, let's come here. Let's select the camera option. Let's delete this one. And now I want to add another camera option. So for that, what I'll do is I will keep my cursor over here. Let's go to add. And from here, I will just click on camera. And if you want to scale it, click on S. And now, here you guys can actually scale it quite big. Okay, so you guys can come here, scale it, click on Enter. And now, if you want to move it using the hand tool, select the hand tool over here, and now just move it right over here. Okay. So here you guys can basically see. Now, I do have a camera. If you want to add up a light, you guys can come here, go to add Option, select on light, and over here, you guys can select the point light here as well. Now, if you want to come here and let's say you want to move it up, Come here and select the y axis. Let's move it to the y axis over here on this particular side. And now let's take and change the x axis. Come here and change the x axis quite over here. Now if you want to increase the size, let's select this click on S, and now you guys can just increase the size. Now here you guys can see. You guys can increase. So over here, you guys can also see that now I do have my three dcursor over here. And let's say I want to place it right over here. And now, if you directly want to add any objects right over here, in this particular place, using Shift A from your keyboard, you guys can see I will go to mesh. And from here, now, if I do want to create a cylinder, I can create a cylinder right from here. And over here, as I do have this last option, modification option selected. So if you don't have this one, what you need to do is you need to go to view and make sure you on the last and just last operation option, okay? So if you want to change up the radius, you guys can come here, change the radius, if you want to use this one vertical, you guys can come here, and you guys can change the vertical of this particular thing from here as well. Okay, so you guys can basically put this like that. If you do want to give this thing up a rotation, you guys can come here, and give this thing up a rotation if you want to change it here in the Z axis. You guys can come here and change the z axis from here as well. Okay. So now let's come here. Let's place this and now, let's say you do have put somewhere else, your cursor. Okay? So you do have put somewhere else here in the cursor. Let's just zoop in. Now, what you are going to do. Now, let's come here and let's go back. Let's come here. Let's go back. Let's just put the cursor somewhere over here. And now I will take my selection to. And what I'm going to do is I am going to move the x axis. Okay? So I will come here. I will click on G and after that, I will just put it right over here. Okay. So now, again, if I want to get my objects right here in the center, whatever I will create. In that case, what I can do is I will come here on top, And now I will just go to the objects, and from objects here you guys can see, I do have option called Snap. So I can click on Snap and over here, I can click onto the option of cursor to world origin. So over here, you guys can see. Again, my three D cursor is back here at the exact center, where it was originated. And now if I click on Shift A, and from here, let's click on create a plane. Okay so over here, you guys can see. Now, if you want to increase the size, let's click on S, and this is how you guys can actually increase the size. Let's click on Enter to copy, and this is how it actually works. So I will just delete this thing again. Let's come here, select this one, delete this again. And now, if you want to delete each and everything right from here, you guys can just select all of this and delete this accordingly. So now let's say I do have another cube. So now let's put one cube shift A. And now I will just place one cube right over here in the center. And now here you guys can see I can actually change the location. And if I do want to scale it, I can come here and I can just increase the size as well. Okay, so you guys can come here and increase the size from here as well. And now, just click outside to deselect this particular part. And now, what you will be able to do is if you come here, you guys will be able to make some different designs. Okay? So for that, what you need to do is again, come here and let's go to the object option, and using that, you guys can use some shortcut keys as well. Okay? So now, if I do have this object, let's take my cursor. And now I will just place this cursor right over here. Let's take dis cursor here in one particular place. Let's go to object. And from object, I will click on Shift S. Okay. So here I will just click on Shift S right from here. Let's click on Shift S. And over here, you guys can see. Now I do have the snap options right over here. Okay? So where do I want to put my cursor, okay? So here you guys can see. Now, if I want to bring this particular three D cursor here in my selected object, so what I can do is I can select cursor to selected. And here you guys can see now I do have this particular cursor here in my selected object. Okay? So again, it is back over here. And now, again, if I just zoom out, let's say, I will just zoom out right from here, and now I want to create some same objects as this. Otherwise, I can just right click, go to snap, and from here, you guys can click on cursor to the origin. Okay? So now, this one is not here at the center of this particular object or this particular cue, but this one is actually at the center of the x axis, the y axis, and the Z axis over here. Okay? So now over here, make sure that you work using all of this particular options. So now let's place it right over here. And what you can do is you guys can click onto the add option. Okay, so you guys can come here. Otherwise, make sure to use the shortcut keys, which is shift A. Okay, so I will just click on Shift A, right over here. Let's say I will just place this thing quite over here. Take this selection tool, and now if I just click on Shift A, let's create a cube right over here, and if you click S, and here you guys can just increase the cube. And also, if you do want to rotate the view, you guys can come here and also you guys will be able to rotate the view from here as well. Okay, now let's just move this thing up. Let's place it right over here. And now, If you want to create other objects, right over here. You guys can actually create some other objects from here as well. Let's come here and let's give this x axis. Let's come here and let's change the y axis from here as well. If you do want to take it here on top, you guys can come here and now let's change the z axis, come here and let's take the z axis. And I will just place this thing right over here. Okay. And now here you do have the resize option. Okay. Using the resize option, you guys can come here and basically resize this particular thing right over here. If you want to change the z axis, you guys can come here and select the Z axis as well. Let's take my hand tool. Let's just move it up. Control minus to zoom out over here. So now, again, I will select this one, and let's just delete this thing up right over here. Let's delete this one over here as well. Now, let's go to the objects, and from here, let's click on Snap and cursor over here at the center again. So I will just zoom in. Let's take my hand tool. Just move it up right over here. And now, what I'm going to do is I am to add up a object. Let's click on shift A. And over here, now I am going to take a Taurus. Okay? So I will just select this taurus, and maybe if I do want to increase the size. Okay, I can come here and maybe I will be able to increase the size of the taurus from here. Okay, so over here, you guys can see the major radius. So you guys can come here and change all of this radius from here itself. So over here, you guys can see the radius, and now I will just come here and I'll just select the major radius of this particular Taurus, and also here if you want to increase the segments, you guys can come here and basically, you guys will be able to increase or decrease the segments. So come here and let's go with the minor segments. So here you guys can see. Now, this is how you guys can actually create some minor segments right over here. You guys will be able to choose how it actually looks right over here. Okay. So once you just select this particular part over here, also in the transformation option, you do have all these particular options, okay? So now this was about creating one right over here. And now, here you do have one tool called At ube Tool. Okay? So if you guys click here in the At Qub tool, with your free hand, you will be able to create some of the objects right over here. So just click hold onto your mouse, and here you guys can see. Now you guys are able to create up a base. And now, once you click on Enter, just click right over here. Now, you guys can actually select the height. You guys can just select the height, click over here. And now here I do have created one object. So the same way here you do have added one cube. And now let's say you want to just add another cube. Over here. Okay, so you guys can basically add another cube right over here as well. Okay? So come here and make some cubes, and here you guys can see. Now, if I just take my selection two, this is how it actually looks. Okay? So if you want to add more objects, as I have already told you just underneath, if you do have a triangle shape like this, that means that you do have other Options as well. So now let's go with adding up a cone. Let's come here and let's just select this particular part. And over here, I will try to add up a cone. Okay, so let's give this one this particular size. And now, if you want to add another cone right over here as well, you guys can come here and basically add up a cone here in this side as well. Okay. So now, the same way, let's come here and let's try to add up a cylinder. Let's come here, select one side, and from here, I want to add up a cylinder. Okay, come here. Let's just select the height. So this is how you will be able to add up a cylinder. And now, the next thing I will show you guys about is the UV spear. Now if you want to create a spear over here, let's come here. Let's select this particle part, and now you guys can actually select the size of the spear. So if you want to move this one up, you guys can come here and let's say, move up the y axis, and let's select the x axis as well. Let's move on the x axis a bit. And now I will come here and move on the y axis. Okay, so come here and now let's move on the y axis. Let's bring it here on front a little bit, and now just d select this one. Okay, so this is how you guys can see. And as I've already told you, this one is basically the primary object. Okay, as I have selected this one, the last. So I have already told you guys about that. And now, if you want to create ecosphere, you guys can come here and you guys can select one ecosphere right over here. Okay, so you guys can come here and select one ecosphere right over here as well. So come here. And if you do want to select any other part, let's say I want to select this ecosphere, and let's try to put it right over here on top as well. And here you guys can see now I do have the ecosphere over here on one side as well. Okay, so this is how you guys can actually create some three D models. And let's say I want to give up some stairs and all. In that case, come here. Let's say add a cube. Okay, so I will come here, and what I'll do is I will try to add up a cube over here. Okay, so I will come here. I will just add up a cube and right over here, in this particular place as well. What I'll do is I will come here, and I will just select this one. Let's say I will just place it right over here. And also, in this particular place, I will just keep this space, and I will just place it right over here. Till on top. So come here and let's just give it a space. Let's come here and let's do some three D animations right over here. And lastly, I will come here, and I will just give up a big space for here to climb. Okay? So this is how it actually looks. You guys can come here and you guys can play around with all of these objects right over here as well. So this is how you guys will be able to make some starting designs using this particular tool here, on down. You guys can actually work here in the three D dimensions. And if you want to now view this one from other angles, here you guys can see this is the view of my object from different angles. So here you guys can see if you want to add anything here on back, you guys can come here and add different things from the back as well. Okay, so I will just place it right over here. And yeah, I hope you guys have understood this particular class. So this was all about how you will be able to add different objects, how you will be able to delete, and also about the three Dcursor tool. Okay? So yeah, I hope to see you all in the next chapter. Where we'll be learning more about the blender application. So as I've showed you by creating a few of the characters, you guys can use the same tool and try to create all these objects over here again. So I hope to see you all in the next chapter. Till then, take care and goodbye, everyone. 7. Learning about orientation and parenting: Hello, everyone, and welcome you to another chapter of the Blenal tutorial. So now we are on Chapter number six, where we'll be learning about orientation and also about parenting. So we'll be learning how all of this option actually works. So let's not waste time and let's get started. So over here, as you guys can see. Now, I'm here in the work space of the blender. Okay? So now, the first thing, what I need to do is basically if you guys know that if I come here, if I click on this particular cube or this object here in this screen, and now if I do want to change up the location, okay, you guys can see, I can basically move it up the Y axis. Okay. I can also move it up the z axis right over here. Okay. And here you guys can see, this is how you guys will be able to move. Okay? Let's move on the y axis a little bit. So here, according to this particular light, it is basically moving. Okay? So as you guys can see right over here, and if you want to increase the size, you guys will be able to increase the scale as well. Okay? So now here you guys can see if I am decreasing it, it will decrease on the x axis. But now, if I come here and if I try to move, The Z axis here also in the downside, you guys can see it is extending on the down part here as well. Okay. But now, what I want to do is I want to just keep this particular thing right over here, like this particular base over here, and I want to change the axis. So for that, what I'll do is if I come here, let's come here to the global option. So from here now, if I change the axis, if you want to see it more clearly, you guys can click here on the move option, and let's say if you want to move up and down, Here you guys can see. You guys can basically move it up and down from here. And also, if you want to scale it, let's say I want to scale this z axis. Okay? You guys can come here. And basically, like this, you guys will be able to change the Z axis right over here. Okay? So now, If you come here and let's say if you just increase the x axis, here you guys can see it is decreasing on the x axis right over here. And now if you change the y axis, you guys can see. Now it is actually changing on the y axis itself. And here you guys can see this is the z axis, so you guys can come here and basically move it like that. So here you need to come here in the transform options if you want to do some local ones, come here, select this one, and now if you change it, here you guys can see. Now you will be able to change it. Towards the size, okay? So you guys can come here and let's say if you want to move it from free hand, you guys can come here, and you guys can basically move free hand as well. Okay, come here. Let's take this particular tool. And now let's select the move tool. And now, if you just scale it up, you guys can see how it actually helps you to scale it up right over here. Okay, so you guys can actually make some orientations quite like this. Let's move the location quite over here. Okay, so let's come here and let's put it quite right over here. And now, let's say, here you do have used the local option and the global option. So basically, I would love to use the global option over here because using the global option, you guys will be able to make sub study designs and sub studying placements you'll be able to find. Okay? So if you want to give sub rotation, I have already told you guys about the shortcut key, which is R. Okay, so now here you guys can see after clicking R, I can give this thing up a rotation, okay? So let's say I want to come here and I want to give this thing up a rotation quite like this. This is how you guys can actually save this three D model right over here. And here, I have already told you about this ad be option, if you want to add up any cube, right over here, you guys can come here and add up any cubes quite like this. Okay? So come here and let's say I will just position it quite like this. And over here, if you want to have the camera view. You guys can come here, and you guys can actually change the camera view from here also. Okay, so you guys can come here and you guys can actually change the camera view. So we'll be learning about this one later into our class when we move deeper into our classes. So now let's come here. Let's view it from the same angle in which I was looking. So over here, you guys can see. Now, I do have made this particular design, right over here, you guys can see. Now, let's say, if you don't want to go to the global a local again and again. Okay? So now, let me also come here and let me create another shape. Okay. So for that, I will come here. I will go to the add option. So I will come here to the adoption. Let's go to mesh, and from here, I will create a cylinder. Okay? So if you come here and now as I have made one cylinder, if you just increase its size, here you guys can see how it actually moves on to the x axis, okay? And if you come right over here, okay, let's say if I just change the y axis, here you guys can see, it's actually looking that it is changing from the X axis. And if you move the z axis, here you guys can see. You guys will feel that it is actually changing from the X axis. Okay, so here you guys can see. Now, the same way, instead of global, if I come here and select the local, and now if I just increase the size here you guys can see, now it's skiing according to the x axis. And if I just skill it the y axis over here, you guys can see. It is actually working from the y axis as well. And if you want to increase the size here you guys can see, it's changing from the Z axis as well. Okay? So now, again, if you come here, if you give the global option, and now if you try to change here, you guys can see, it's showing that you are just changing it from the y axis. Okay? So over here, you guys can see. Now you guys can actually change or you guys might think that it's changing from the Z axis. You guys can select here, and also you guys can just decrease the z axis from here as well. Okay? So this is how it looks. If you want to rotate this thing down and if you want to see how this particular model looks, from all the angles. You guys can come here and check the angle here as well. If you want to move out this one, you guys can come here and maybe take a bit far. And now again, to view every component, come here and select frame all. Over here, you guys can see now if I want to see the camera angle, you guys can see the camera angle looks quite like this. So I will just go back right over here again. So here, what you need to do is if you don't want to go to this option again and again, is you come here, and what you need to do is you need to click on the comma key from your keyboard. Okay? So once you click on the comma key over here, you guys will be able to change from global to local or anything as such. Okay? So you guys will be able to select the transformation orientation from here, okay? Now, what I'll do is I'll come here and I will just select all of these objects, so you guys can come here and select all of it. Let's say I want to just delete this one, and now let's come here and make up a selection and delete this one from here as well. Now, I will come here and I want to take my cursor or the three D cursor and let's place somewhere over here. I will just place my three Dcursor somewhere over here. And now I will click on Shift A. Let's go to mesh, and let's create one cylinder over here as well. Okay. So now, if you'll just zoom in, let's bring my hand tool over here. Let's just bring it quite like this. And now I will just keep it here in the center. And now I will just zoom in right over here as well. So now over here, you guys can see this one is basically here in the x axis. Over here, now, if you want to change the mode, let's go to the local. And from here. Now, what I'll do is I will just scale this one up. Okay, so I can just scale it up towards the x axis. And also, I will just scale it up towards the y axis as well. And here you guys can scale it up in the Z axis. Okay? So this is how it actually looks. Let's come here. Let's put it over here in the center. And now, what you want to do is you want to actually transform this one, but over here, you don't want to view it. Like if you do any transformation, also, dis cursor will be back over here at the center again. In that case, you guys need to go to object, and I have showed you how you will be able to clear. Let's say I want to clear the location. Now if I just zoom out here you guys can see, this is coming exactly at the world transform orientation center. Okay. So here you guys can see the global center, it's coming. Okay? And now, if you don't want that way, let's click on Control Z to go back. And now let's say what you want to do is you want to come here and you want to click here on Apply. And over here, you guys can click on location. Okay? So there, they will be basically showing that from where this particular thing was generated. Okay? So if you come here and let's say I will just come here, and I will just select this selection tool, and now I will just click on G, and I will just move it right over here. I'll just move this thing right over here. And now let's take this cursor, and I will just move it up somewhere here as well. So now let's move it somewhere here. Let's take my selection tool. And now if I click here and let's click on A Option or this object, and here I will click on Apply from here, if I just click on location, here you guys can see. You guys can give this up a location or here if you want to give this one up, A rotation, you guys can actually give this one up a rotation as well. Now let's select this. Let's click on object and over here. Now I will click on apply, and here I will give this one up a rotation. Now I can click on R, and over here, you guys can see it is giving a rotation from the center itself, not here in the own object. So if you do have this type of keys in so many dimensions. Suppose you do have the work where you do have different kind of dimensions. So if you want to follow one x axis or if you want to follow one y axis, you guys can come here, and you guys can actually follow this notation option from here. Okay? So as you have just post pasted this one over here by clicking on the left button of your mouse. So now what I'll do is I'll come here and let's say the same way, what I want to do is I want to go to object. And from here, now I will go to apply and from here, let's say if I do want to scale it, I can come here, and basically, I will be able to scale it from here. So now if I just click on S, here you guys can see from this particular starting here, it is actually scaling. So over here, I'm just only following one line. So if you want to come here, increase or decrease, you guys can do that. The same way if you click on R, it will basically rotate from the center as I have selected the local option. And the same way if you come here and let's go with the global. Let's come here and the same way if I click on a object. Let's go to apply, and let's select a rotation option. And now, if I just click on R, over here, you guys can see how it actually gives you a rotation. Now if you want to change the x axis, you guys can come here and basically change the x axis. Using the hand tool over here, now, let's just move on the hand. You guys come here and just scale it up over here in the center as well. So now let's come here. Let's put it over here in the center. And if you want to zoom out, you guys can come here and zoom out from here as well. Okay? So I have already told you guys if you just click on Control A. From here also, you do have the option from where you will be able to choose the scaling, the rotation, and the location option as well. Okay? So now let's take my move tool from here, and what I'll do is I'll come here and I will be able to move this thing. Okay, so over here, I will just select the move to, keep this thing right over here. And also, over here, I can come here and I can just check out the rotation. So let's give this one up a 90 degrees rotation. Okay, so let's come here. And now let's type 90. Okay, so I will come here 90 in the x axis. And over here, you guys can see now if I just zoom out here it had given a rotation of 90 degrees over here in one side. So I can come here and now if I do want to scale it up. I can come here, and I can basically scale it up from here as well. Let's say if you do want to increase the size, here you guys can see now you will be able to increase the size or we'll be able to scale it up from here. If you come here, change the location. Let's come here. Let's change the location quite like this over here. And now, Let's come here. Let's select local. Okay. Let's go to global. Let's select the local option. And from here, now you guys can see, I can basically align this one. Okay. So here, if you want to scale it in the y axis, you guys can come here, and basically, you guys will be able to scale it with the local y axis. Okay? So come here. Let's take my hand to. And now, let's give this thing up a rotation. Okay. Now, if you want to apply rotation, you guys can come here. Let's go to object, select apline and here you guys can actually give this thing up a rotation. So you guys can come here. And now, if you just change the rotation, here you guys can see from this particular move point, you guys are giving up a rotation. But the same way, if you want to give it from here in the middle, what you can do is you guys can just come here, select the cursor, select the cursor over here. And now you guys can select and keep this thing here in the center. Okay? So now, if you just click on R and over here, you guys can see as this one is the generating point. Okay? So as this one is basically the generating point, it will give a rotation from this particular angle. So you can also turn it off. You guys can come here. And you guys can actually go to clear. And from here, you guys can actually go to clear location. Let's go to object again. And from here, let's click on the scale option as well. And also, let's come here and let's go to clear the rotation option. Okay, so you guys can come here and apply all of these things over here as well. So now, over here, I will make another cube. Let's click on Shift A. And over here, I do have the cube option, okay? And if I want to scale it up, I can come here and I can just scale it up over here in the x axis. Let's scale it up in the y axis over here as well, and also here in the Z axis, okay? So if I do want to make some kind of a floor, Over here, let's just increase it on the x axis. So now, as you guys can see, now, if I just stake here and if I just bring it up quite over here on top. And now, what I want to do is I want to keep this thing over here in the middle, the three D cursor. Okay? So now, again, I will select the select box option. Okay. So now, if I just zoom in and I can also zoom out, let's say, now, what I want to do is you guys want to do some parenting. Okay? Like if you just put up this object over here on top, both of these things will basically move together. Okay? So how you will be able to do that. So the first thing, I'll select this object. Let's take this cylinder, and now just change it's location. Okay? So come here and maybe change it to ten. Okay, so let's come here. Let's change it to ten. And now I want to bring it more. Okay, so you guys can just come here, hover over and just put it over here on top. Okay, so you guys can come here and let's say let's change the y axis over here as well. Okay. So now, come here and just put this thing over here on top. And now you guys can just select the z axis. Okay? So now if you come here, let's just move it up a little bit over here. Take your time to do these things. Okay? These are basically the basics. So you guys need to make sure that you guys take your time. And let's say for rotation, I will put 90 over here. So I will just put 90, but this one is basically coming down. Okay? So come here, select this one. And now, let's just zoom in. Let's take my hand tool. And now over here, if I want to place it right over here on top. Okay, I can come here, and let's say I will just change the x axis. So come here and just select the x axis. And now you guys can just put this one here down as well. So come here and change the z axis from here, okay? So I will just come here and I'll just change the z axis and maybe place it quite over here. Let's take the hand too. And now here you guys can see in one side, I am able to put this thing. And now, let's say I will come here and let's change the y axis from here. Let's say I want to view this things quite like this right over here. Okay? And also, I want to change the Z axis, come here. Let's come and try to check the z axis from this particular place. And now, just make sure that you just change the transformation. So come here, go to the location and try to place it over here in the middle. Let's go to the y axis. And now let's change the z axis as well. Here in the transformation option. Now, let's come here. Let's just go back and from here, this is how it actually looks. And in the same way, if you want to come here and put on other objects, you guys can do that. Okay? So come here. Let's select the cursor and let's put it right over here. And now, if you want to add up a e, you guys can come here and let's say using shift and a, you guys will put on some mesh. Let's go on with a que. You guys can come here, put up a que, and you guys can actually increase the size. So let's go to scale. From here, and now you guys can basically increase it to the x axis and also through the y and the z axis as well. So come here and from here, you guys can actually place it quite over here. So now if you want it to move, so now let's see, let's check out the view. Okay, so this is how my particular model basically looks. Okay, so this is the model which I have just made. And now you will be able to change it individually. Let's say if you select this one, if you want to move, you guys can actually move this one from here. Okay? But if I want to parent, let's say this is basically the base. Okay. And now, first, what I need to do is I need to come here, select this top icon, and over here, using shift, I will select this part as well, and also this down part, I will select at last. And what I'll do is I will click on Control P. Okay. So as I have clicked on Control P, Here you guys can see. I do have the option of set parent to object, okay? So if I click here on object, and now if I change or transform, here you guys can see the whole thing is basically transforming. If you come here, if you want to scale it up, you guys can come here, and basically the whole thing will be scaled up and down. Okay? So now, Using this one, let's select all of it, and I can just increase or decrease the size all quite over here, together. If you want to rope again, what you can do is you guys can go to object, and from object, you guys can come and you guys can go to this option called parents. So here you guys can see the parent option. And now, if you want to clear parent, you guys can come here and click on clear parent. But make sure you click on the clear and transformation option. So I will come here, and I will just keep on the transformation. But now I am individually able to change its rotation, its position or its scaling over here. You guys can see now it is an individual object not as a whole. So this is how you guys can actually select more than one object and place it here with one. And now, let's say what I'll do is, again, I want to parent it, so I will just come here, select all of it. Let's come here and let's select this one first, this one first and the base at the last. So make sure to do that because Once you select the base for the last, that time, what will happen is it will automatically take the last selected one as the parent. So over here, you guys can also go to relations. And from relations, you guys can come here into the parent option. And over here, you guys can actually select. Okay? Which one? You guys can come here and basically name this thing all around as well. Let's come here and let's name this one as the base. I will name this one as the base. And now let's select this one, and now this one is actually the cylinder. And let's come here and let's select this one, and let's name this one as the cube. I will just name this as the cube. And I'll click on Enter. And what I can do now is let's select the cube. Let's select the cylinder. And now at last, I will select the base. Okay? And now, if I go to my object, and from here, let's go to parent. And from parent, what I can do is I can click on object over here. And over here, you guys can see under the base over here, I do have all these two options, which is the cube three. And here you guys can see under the base. I do have all of these things, okay? So here you guys can see. If you just click on base, here you do have the cube, and after that, you have the cylinder. Okay? So if you want to make this cylinder and another object, you guys will be able to do it. From this offset panel as well. You guys need to just select this one, drag and move it here down. Okay? So now, this one is again, an individual object. If you come here, if you move on the rotation you guys will be able to see. You guys can come here if you want to get up a three D view. You guys click here onto this object. And from here, you guys can zoom in and zoom out to that particular object over here as well. Okay, come here. Let's take the move option. And now, if you take the rotation, you guys can come here, and you guys can change the y axis, so you guys can come here. Let's see the y axis from this side. And now, what you can do is you guys can come here, select this one as individual. And now if you want to scale it up, you guys can come here, and you guys can basically scale it up here as work. And if you want to give this thing up a rotation, you guys can come here and give this up a rotation from here itself. Okay, so come here, place it right over here. And now, if you want to view it from another angle, you guys can come here and you guys can view it from the y axis. Let's come here and let's just change this one. Okay? Let's come here. Let's select this particular option, the cursor. Okay. And now, make sure that you put out the cursor right here at the center. So I will just select this one here at the center. And now, if I want to scale, let's say I want to scale it, here you guys can see how you will be able to scale it. And also, if you want to transform, in that case, click on G and over here, you guys can come and transform it quite like this. You guys can come here, now select this option, and using this y axis, let's come here and get a view of this whole object over here. You guys can come here and place it and if you want to group it all here again, you guys can come here, select this. Let's click on shift, and let's select this part. Lastly, what I'll do is I will come here, select this, this, and this, and I will just make one parent again, okay, Control P. Over here, now you guys can see. Again, I do have it under the base. So under base, you guys can see I do have the cube over here. And also, I do have the cylinder right over here. And if you want to bring it back, again, you guys can come here, select this particular option, and you guys can just move it here in the base as well. Okay. So now, again, this is back here at the base. So if you just click on to the base option, let's come here. Let's select the base option. And now, if you want to scale it, you guys can click on S. And from here, you guys can actually increase the size. Okay? So if you come here and if you click on S and using S, you guys can actually increase the size of the whole object. Okay? So now again, let's move the x axis over here. Okay, let's move the x axis, and let's move the y axis as well. Okay, so let's come here. Let's move the y axis. From here, and if you want to zoom out control minus to zoom out over here as well. Okay. So here you guys can see this is my three D animation. Over here, you guys can actually play around with all of these objects and make some things right over here. I have also told you about how you'll be able to add cube, make your own dimensions. But here, I have talked about how you will be able to do parenting and also how you will be able to do the orientation. Okay. So here we have learned about transform orientations. So yeah, I hope you guys have understood this class and also about the relations options. So from here also, you will be able to do the parenting. So if you come here, let's take the base from here. And from here, now, if you click on parent, here you guys can select what you want, it's parent to be. Let's come here. Let's take this cylinder. And here you guys can see the parent is the base. And if you come here, here also you guys can see for this particular e, the parent is base over here. And from here, you guys can actually change the parent type. So I had to select object over here, and that is quite perfect for my usage. So yeah, I hope to see you all in the next chapter. Where we'll be learning more about blender in detail. So I have shown you guys a few other options just to get started with making some stunning designs over here. So see you all in the next chapter till then, take care and goodbye everyone. Okay. 8. About the object data and edit mode: Hello, everyone, and to another chapter of the blender Essential tutorial. So now we are on our Chapter number seven. And here, we'll be learning about the object data and also about the edit mode. Okay? So I'll be telling you guys about the object data, how you'll be able to control the object data over here. And also, we'll be learning about the edit mode in detail. So let's not waste time, and let's get started. So over here, as you guys can see, now, I'm here in the workspace, and in my three D view panel, you guys can basically see all of this object. So this is the camera. This is basically the light. And this is basically the cube right over here. Okay. So now, if you want to transform it, what you can do is if you just click on G from your keyboard, you guys can actually move this thing around. Okay, so you guys will be able to move this thing around all from here. And now, if you come here, and let's say if you want to move this particular icon as well, which is the light icon, click on G, and you guys will be able to move this all for yourself. So you guys can come here and move this all around. And if you just move on the Z axis, you guys can actually view it from all the angles, okay, so you guys can see it right over here. But now here on all of these options, on the left hand side, you guys can see there is a small icon, okay? So these are triangular icons. And once I drag this down, you guys are able to see this are basically objects, but all this over here are basically object data. Okay? So if you just double click over here, you guys can see now you do have different options regarding the lengths, and all you will be able to select the focal length. And also, if you come here onto the cube, you guys can see here you do have the vertex group option. And if you come here on the light, let's say you guys will be able to change up the color. Okay? So if you come here, if you want to change the color to something over here, you guys can come here and select those colors accordingly. So come here. Let's put it as white color as well. You guys can select and see how it will look in different options. Okay? So you guys just go here on the point option. And if you want to see up a preview, you guys can come here and see up a preview as well. Okay? So these are basically extra settings, which you guys will be able to work. So now, from here, let's take this particular camera. And what I'm going to do is I am going to add another object. So for that, what I'll do is I will go to the adoption, and from add option, I will go and select camera. Okay? So now the camera is over here. In this cursor, let's click on G, and now you guys can basically move this thing around. So now let's just place it right over here. And now, if I want to view it from a Z axis, I can come here, let's just some out and from here. Now I will select this icon, click on G, and now I can just bring it all around. Okay, so if you guys can come right over here, Now, if you want to give this thing up a rotation on the Z axis. Okay, so you guys can come here. And from here now, let's go back, so you guys can come here on the back. Let's select this one. And let's click on G. Let's place it right over here. And now after placing it right over here, if you want to give this thing up a rotation, let's click on G. Okay. And from here, now, if you want to give this thing upper rotation, you guys will be able to give this thing upper rotation as well. Okay. So now if I just click on R, and I will just move this thing towards this particular cube. Okay. So over here, you guys can see from the top view. If I click on G, if I do want to bring it back a little bit, I will just bring it back a little bit right over here. So now I do have both of these lenses, okay? So let's come here and over here in the opposite panel as well. You guys can see now I do have this camera one, and here I do have the camera. So now I will just double click over here, and I will name this one as camera right. Okay, so I will just come here and I will give this name as camera right. And now, again, what I'll do is I'll come here, select this one, double click, and I will name this one as camera. Left. So I will come here and name this one as the camera left. So now let's select the camera left first, and let's go to this object data. And once I'm here in the object data, what I can do is I can come here and I can just change the focal length. Okay. So now let's say I will just put this one as one 30, and I'll just click on Enter. And here you guys can see this one have basically changed. Okay? So the object data over here, Have changed. And now, again, what you're going to do is you are going to come here. Now, go to the camera right, go to this option, and from here, now let's put this one as 20. If I give on 20, and here this is saved as 20 from here as well. If you do want to give this one a name, so you guys can come here and name this one as 20 Mm. Click on Enter to apply. Let's come over here on top. And over here, I will just name this one as one 30 MM. And if I just click on Enter, here you guys can see now this thing over here have both of these names. Suppose what the properties do I have over here. So this one is one 30 MM. So let's say over here into this particular icon. Also, what I want to do is I want to put up that one 30 MM option or the focal length. So in that case, now, I will select this one. Let's come to this option right over here. And just beside here, you do have one icon, which calls browse camera data to be linked. So just click over here, and now if you click on one 30 MM, here you guys can see now, this one have actually changed, okay? And if you just click on R, you guys will be able to give this thing up a rotation over here as well. Okay? Now, the same way, if you want to change this one, come to this option, go over here, and come here at this browse camera data to be linked and select the 20 MM option. Okay? So now here you guys can see. Now you do have Both of these cameras over here focused. Okay? So now, they do have different properties. So you just have changed the properties right over here. Okay? Now, if you want to give this thing up any kind of rotation and stuff, you guys will be able to give this thing up any kind of rotation over here as well. Okay. So I hope you guys have understood this part, that how it actually worked. So now, over here, we will be looking into the cube option, okay? So under cube, you don't have such things which you guys will be able to change. Okay? So for that, now, what I'll do is I will come here. Let's select this cube option. And now, let's change the x axis. Let's come down right over here. And as you guys can see, I do have this particular thing right over here. Okay, this particular cube. Let's say if I want to change, any part from here. Okay? If I want to just select few parts, and from here, if I do want to change anything, I will be able to change it right from here. Okay. So for that, what I need to do is I need to select this icon. And from object mode, I will come here. I will click here, and here under object mode, you guys can see there is a mode called the Edit mode. Okay? So come here, select the edit mode. And now here on top also, you do have three options. Okay. But first, let's try to understand it right over here. Okay. So now let's say from here, what I want to do is I want to come here and I want to select a point, okay? So if you want to select individual points, you guys can come here and you guys can actually select individual parts. Otherwise, if you want to select few of the parts together, you guys can come here and let's say, click on shift and now select those parts over here. Now, make sure you click on Shift, now select this whole thing. And now, if you want to change anything right over here on top, what you can do is if you want to, let's say, if you want to move this, you guys can just click on G. And this is how you guys will be able to move this all around. Okay, so here you guys can see. You guys can make all of these tall buildings and stuff. These kind of structures over here. And if you just want it to go in one angle, if I want it to go only to the Z axis. Okay, I can come here, click on Z, and it will only increase or decrease from the z axis. Okay? So just left click on your mouse to apply over here. And the same way, if you come here and let's say I want to select this whole part again. Okay, so come here. Let's say I will just select this whole thing. Let's click on shift. And now I will just try to select the whole thing up. And now I will just click on G. And now I will just click on Z, and I will just bring its size down. Okay? Now, if you want to give this one a rotation, you guys can come here. Let's say if you just click on R, here you guys can see this is how you guys will be able to give this thing up a rotation quite like this as well. So you guys can come here and let's say if you want to give this thing a rotation and you want to apply this, just click on the left side of your mouse. And now over here on top as well. If I come here and if I want to scale it, I can come here, I can click on S, and I can just scale this up or I can just scale this down as well. Okay, so you guys can come here and if you want to see it from different angles, you guys can see how it actually looks. So over here, you guys will be able to change things quite like this. And the same way, if you come over here, let's say, What you want to do is you want to select any particular side. Okay. So from here, if you come to this particular option, instead of selecting all of this, let's come here just beside the edit mode option, you do have these three modes, okay? These three select modes. And if you come here, if you click on it select, what they'll do is if you come here, if you just select one of this part over here, it will basically select the whole thing. And now, if you click on G, you guys can see now you are able to move only that particular site. So you guys can come here. Click left click on your mouse, and it will be saved. If you come here, click on G. And now, if you want to change this part over here as well. Once you're done, you guys can just click on the left hand side of your mouse. So now, just move this thing around. Okay, so over here, you guys can see this is how it actually looks. Okay. So this was about selecting H. And after that, if you want to select a whole part. Okay. Let's say I will just rotate this thing down, and now I only want to select this particular part right over here. Okay. So for that, now, again, what I need to do is I need to come here, and over here, I need to select the phase select option. And now, if I click over here, only this part will get selected. And if I want to transform this perdicular part, what I'll do is I will click on S. Okay? So if I want to scale it up and down, I can come here and I can just scale it up and down from here as well. Okay. So now I will just de select by clicking outside. I will just zoom out, and if I do want to see a view, this is how this perdicular icon looks. So now here I do have this perdicular icon. And now here in the edit mode, also, what you can do is you guys will be able to create or add different kind of icon. Let's go with a plane over here. Okay. So now, if I come here and let's select on plane option, and over here, you guys can see now if I click on S. Okay? So let's click on S, and if you do want to increase the size, you guys will be able to increase the size from here as well. Okay, so over here, you guys can see now I do have selected this particular thing. And now here as in my edit mode. If I come here, if I just go out and from here, if you want to know what is the shortcut of changing between edit mode, and the object mode is tam from your keyboard. So now if I just click on Tam, now I'm here in my object mode. And here in object mode, if you click on S and if you increase the size, both of these are actually changing the size altogether. So this is one single object right over here. So now over here, again, if you want to actually create a new object. Okay, go to add. And from here from object mode, what you guys can do is go to mesh, and from here, you guys can actually create a cube. Okay. So now click on G to move it around. So come here and bring it quite right over here. Let's take my hand tool, and what you guys can do is you guys can just move this thing around. Okay. So use this one and now just change the x axis. Okay, so come here and place the x axis quite right over here, and using control plus, you guys can basically zoom in as well. Okay, so you guys can basically zoom in over here as well. So now, if you want to move from object mode to the edit mode, click here on tap. And as you have selected all of this thing, okay, what you guys can actually do is now, if you go to the Move tool or the transform tool, and if you want to decrease the size from this corner, so you guys can come here. Let's say you guys can just select this, and maybe if you want to move, you guys can basically move it in the y axis. If you want to come here and move it to the x axis. You guys can basically decrease the size over here in the x axis as well. And if you want to move it towards the y axis, come here, select this one, and this is how you guys will be able to move it towards the x axis as well. You guys can come here and basically work with this thing up. And now, using the x axis, you guys can just move around and are able to view the whole thing out. So this is how you guys will be able to work. And again, if you want to go to the object mode, you guys can click on tab. And now over here, let's select the transformation option. And now if you want to move it, up and down, you guys will be able to do that from here. Okay? Now, if you again click on R, you guys will be able to give this one upper rotation from this particular place as well. Okay? So yeah, I hope to see you all in the next chapter, where we'll be learning more about blender. I hope this class was clear for you all. So see you all in the next chapter till then, take care and goodbye everyone. Okay. 9. Mesh components and object origin: Hello, everyone, and welcome to another chapter of the blender essential tutorial. So now we are on our chapter number eight. And here, we'll be talking about the mesh components and the object origins. So we'll be learning what the mesh components are, how you'll be able to delete those, and also we'll be learning about the object origin. Okay? So what does the object origin means? Like if you delete your mesh component, but still you will have your object origin inside your three D view panel. So let's not waste time, and let's get started with this chapter of mesh components and the object origins. So over here, as you guys can see, now, I'm here in the work space of the blender. And over here, you guys can see I do have all of the objects present right over here. So in the last class, we do have learned about the object mode, and also we did have learned about the edit mode. If I come here onto the cube, let's go to object mode, and from here, let's go to the edit mode. And now, what you can do is if you just select any particular part, so you guys will be able to delete it as well. So now I will come here and I will just select this vertex option. And let's say from here, what I want to do is I want to delete a particular vertex. So let's take this particular part right from here, and what I'll do is to delete, I will just click on X from my keyboard. And here I will have this delete drop down menus. Okay? So here you do have different option delete vertexes. If you want to delete the ages, if you want to delete only the faces or only ages and faces or only faces. So for that, the first thing what I'll do is if I click on vertex over here now, if you want to view it from all the sides you guys can see the component which I had over here, so that one is basically deleted. Okay? So over here, you guys can see now I don't have this particular object. But how have I deleted all these things altogether because I had selected only one verdix. So for that, you need to make sure that you know, So over here, if I come here and select this particular key or this vertex, it will basically delay the whole thing out. Because without this key or without this vertex, I won't be able to make this particular shape. Okay? So in that case, now, if I just move it around through the x axis, you guys can see how it actually looks. So without this vertex point or without this particular key right over here, you would not be able to have this whole shape around. Okay? So I do have deleted this part. Now, let's say, if I want to delete the ages. So for that first, I will come here in the select mold and I will select the g select. Now if I just come here and let's say I will just select this whole thing out. And from here now again, I will click on x. And if I come here and if I click on ages, So here, you guys can see, I do have only deleted the faces and also the edges over here on top. Okay? So if I click on Control plus, you guys can see that on top, I don't have the edges, but on this particular side, I do have the edges over here as well, as it had deleted only both of these parts, okay, over here on top. And also as this one doesn't have any field. So again, I will click on Control Z to go back. And now, let's say if you want to select any phase. Okay, so I will go to select mode. And from here, I will select this articular phase, and now if I click on X. And now, if I click on faces over here, you guys can see I do have deleted the whole phases around. So now using X, if you want me to move around, you guys can see. I am able to move around from here as well. So control from here again. And now, if you want to view it in a different way or delete. Let's click on x. And now from here, if you select only faces, you guys are able to see that I do have the ages over here, but I don't have the face or the feel. Okay, so you guys can move on the x axis and you guys can see right now you don't have any feel, but still you do have this ages. So individually, you guys can come here and select the ages from here as well. Now again, I will go back. Using control Z. Okay, so you guys can come back right over here. And what you can do is now let's select this part. And from here, let's click on X. And after that, you guys can also select only ages and faces, y? So over here, you guys can see the whole thing over here had got deleted. So now, come here, select this one. And lastly, click on X from your keyboard. And now just delete only faces. So now, over here, I do have this particular face. And if you want to go back again to your object mode, you guys can click on tab and it will redirect you in your object mode over here as well. So individually, you guys can come here and move it around. And if you want to go back again to the edit mode, click on tab again, and here you are back again at the tab mode over here as well. Okay? So this is about that. And also, in last class, I have showed you that you will be able to add more components to it from here as well. So once you're in the edit mode, if you go to add and let's say I want to add a plane, and now let's click on S to scale it up. So over here, you guys can see. Now I do have scale it up together. Now, if I just click here outside and from edit mode, if I turn back to my object mode, here now you guys can see this is basically one object. Now, if I click on S, you guys can see, I will be able to increase or decrease the size accordingly. So now, again, if I come back here and let's go to my edit mode. And from Edit mode, let's say, if I just select the whole thing out. So for that, let's go to select, and from select, let's click on A. Otherwise, the shortcut key for selecting all component is A from your keyboard. So if I just click on A, over here, now you guys can see, I do have all the mesh components selected over here. And now, if I click on X to delete, and if I go to verts, here you guys can see the whole thing is deleted. So you guys might be thinking, Okay, now the whole thing got deleted. So what how you will be able to make things up. So to make sure that the whole thing is not deleted over here. Only the mesh component or the component which I had here under the mesh is deleted. If you look here into the opposite panel as well, here already, you do have the cube option. Okay? So now, if I come here, let's go to the object mode from here. So let's go and click on tab. Okay? Otherwise, come here. So now, if you want to move this object, make sure you select the cube. And from here, now, if I click on G, so If I come here, let's click on the cube. And from here, now, if I just click on Edit mode, and from here, now, if I click on G, so you guys will be able to do that. So now, again, come here, go to the object mode. And from here, now, if I click on G, you guys can see this small yellow line, this is basically called as the object origin. Okay? So I can basically move it around wherever I want. If I want to move it around in one particular axis. Let's say if I want it to move around in the x axis, I can come here, move it around the x axis. If I want to move it around the y axis, I can come here, click on the y option and move it around the y axis as well. And if I want to move it around free hand, I can click on G again. Okay, so let's come here and now if you want to click on G, and now you guys can actually move it right over here. Okay. So now, as you guys can see, now I do have the object origin right over here as well, okay? So now, over here, let's say if I select any other object, okay? So for that, first, let's go to view, and let's go to frame all. And now, let's say, over here, now I'm not able to see where my object origin is. Okay? So now it is just quite impossible to find the object origin from this particular place. Okay? So again, if I want to select the object origin, in that case, I will go to the cube, and over here, you guys can see I do have the object origin. So if I want to move it along, I can come here, click on G, and I will be able to move it around quite over here. Okay, so come here and just left click and you will be able to paste that thing down right from here as well. So now let's come here and let's try to add different D object. So let's go to add and from here, let's go to mesh, and from here, let's take up a Q. So now, using control plus, I will just zoom in, let's take my hand tool, and let's place it right over here. And what you're going to do is you are going to actually make this one door like structure. So for that, now, what you're going to do. The first thing is now, again, I will go here to the Edit mode using the tap key. And now, what I'm going to do is I'm going to come here and let's try to change the axis. So if you want to select this particular axis right over here. Now, if you try to move this along, you guys can see the whole thing is moving along together. So now let's come here and let's just decrease the size. So for that, I will just click on S. And now, what I'll do is I'll click on x, because I want to actually move the size from the x axis. Okay, so I'll come here and I'll just place it quite like this. Left click on my mouse and over here, you guys can see now I do have this particular component over here in the center. Okay. So now, again, if using the object mode, you guys can come here and if you want to click on G, and if you want to move it through the y axis. You guys can come here and move it through the y axis over here as well. And over here on this particular icon, you guys can see, this one is basically the object origin over here in the center, and over here in the center, this one is basically the cursor. So this is the three dcursor over here. Now, if you want to increase the size of this one as well, click on tap for the edit mode. Now, let's select this whole thing up. I will come here and let's say I will just select the whole thing up from here. And now I will click on S, and now I will click on Z. For that, now, I will be able to change it only to the Z axis. You guys can come here and maybe just change the size to the Z axis from here. Now as you guys can see, I do have moved this one on top as I am trying to make window like structure over here or a door like structure. If you want to move it along, you guys can come here and basically move it along. If you want to give this one a rotation in the x axis, you guys can come here and maybe give this thing up a rotation here in the x axis as well. Now let's move the x axis right from this side that I am able to view this properly when I work. Let's move the hand to. Let's keep this thing over here in the center. And now, What I'll do is I will come here, and let's say, now what you want to do is you just want to move this particular object origin. Okay? So if you only want to move the object origin, I'll be telling you guys how you will be able to do that and also different ways to do the same thing as well. So now, again, I will come here. Let's select the whole thing up. And from here, now I will click on G. And from G, again, I will click on Z to move it along here on top. Okay, so I will just move it here on top, left click on your mouse to just pace to that particular place. Okay so now here you guys can see. Now I am at this particular point right over here, and here you do have your object origin. Okay. So now if I want to give this thing one up a rotation. Okay. So for that, what I'll do is I will go again to the object mode, so I will click on tab. And now, if I click on R and if I want to give this thing a rotation on the Z axis, I will click on Z. And here you guys can see from this particular point, actually it is basically giving me up a rotation. So over here, you guys can see from this middle part, it is giving me a rotation. But for me, I don't basically want that. What I want to do is I want to give this one up a rotation. From here in the center or wherever I want. Let's say from this side, I want to give this one upper rotation from this side as well. So for that, the first thing, what you need to do is you need to go here to the options option, and from here, now you guys need to click on origins. You guys can come here, click onto the origins option. And now, what you can do is you guys can go to object, and under the set origin, you guys can go, and from set origin, you guys can select origin to geometry. Okay, so you guys can come here and now you guys can see this one is exactly here at the center. Okay? So this particular object origin is basically at the center. And now, if you give any rotation, it will give a rotation from this particular point from the center itself. Okay? So again, if I go to object and if I go to set origin, and if you want to bring your object origin through the three D cursor, which is here in the center, you guys can actually bring that one from here as well. Okay. So now let's go to origin to three Dcursor now the object origin is over here in the three D cursor. And if I click on tab, and now if I click on R, so let's click on r over here. Now, let's click on to this object mode. And now, if I click on r, and if I want to give this thing up a rotation, you guys can see I am not able to give up a rotation for this particular thing. I will just come here and again go back. I will just come here and make it back here again at the center. So now let's say I want to bring this cursor over here on this particular side. So in that case, from object mode, what I need to do is I need to go to the edit mode. So now let's click on tab over here. And now from here, I will select this vertex mode. So I will click here on the vertex. And now I will select at what part do I want this one selected. So I will come here. I will select this particular part, and from here, what I'll do is I will go to the mesh option, and from mesh, I will go to snap. And from Snap, what I'll do is I will go to cursor to select it. So from here, you guys can see now I do have this particular cursor right over here in this particular age because I will be giving this thing up a rotation like a door from here. So now I do have this particular cursor over here. So now, I need to change the origin, which I can only do from the object mode. So I will come here on the object. Let's select the object option from here as well. And now, again, what I'll do is I will go to set origin, and from here, I will select origin to three D cursor. I will come here, and I will just select this particular option. And now if you click on R and if you think that you want to give this thing up a rotation on the x axis, select the x. And now over here, you guys will be able to see that you will be able to give this thing up a rotation from here. So let's come here And now, I will just select all before that. So I will come here. Let's go back and once you are over here, you do have your cursor over here as well. Now, once you are done, make sure that you turn off your origins from here. Okay? So once you have turned off, if you want to give this thing a door like rotation, you guys can come here. And let's say I will just click on R and I will click on Z, and over here, you guys can see you are giving a rotation. From the Z axis. You guys can basically use it from here. Now, let's say and control Z again. Now, if you want to give this the same thing over here. In that case, again, what you'll do is you'll click on tap to go to the edit mode. Come here, go to the edit mode, and from here, let's select this vertex over here. Now, let's go to the mesh option, and from here, let's go to snap and cursor to selected. Now I do have my cursor over here in the selected part. And what you can do now is you guys can come here and let's say once you are done, let's go to the object mode. And from the object mode, now you guys need to go to object, and from here, let's go to the set origin and from here, origin to three D structure. Again, now, if I want to give a rotation from this particular end, let's click on r, and from here, let's click on Z and now over here, it's giving a rotation from this particular place. So this is basically the object origin. So now here in this particular class, we will also learn that if we have multiple objects, how you will be able to join them, and how you will be able to separate them as well. So for that, the first thing, what you need to do is you need to come here, and you need to add different kind of objects. So here, I'm in my object mode. Let's go to add. Let's click. On mesh. And from here, now let's take a cylinder first, click on G and just move this cylinder right over here in one side. And again, what I'll do is click on ad, otherwise, shift A. I will just click on Shift A. From there, I'll go to mash, and now I will take spear. I will just take this UV spear. Let's click on G, and let's move it around over here as well. Okay. So now, this three things are different objects. So here you guys can see the spear, and over here, you do have the cylinder, and over here, you do have the cube. This one is the cube one, as I already do have another cube, where I have actually deleted the mesh components. So if you want to just join all of this together, make sure you select one, and let's click on shift. And lastly, the one which you want to keep as the primary object, select that one at last. So once I have selected, if I want to link all of this, I will go to this object option. Otherwise, I will go to this particular option right over here. Okay. And now from here, I will be able to actually join this. Okay. So the shortcut key for the join is Control J from our keyboard. So I will click on join and now here you guys can see in the opposite panel as well. Now all of these things are under this Q one. So I will just Type this one as do. Okay? So I will just save this one as door. Okay? So I will come here. I will just off this one. And now, let's say if I want to actually edit all of this individually, once you have selected all of this, go to the edit more directly from here, and you guys can see all these components are already added. Okay? So now, if you want to just edit only one part. For that, you guys can come here and select any one object. Now if you want to actually work over here, individually. This is how you guys can select, select this part. And again, move the x axis. Again, what you need to do is come here and select this part over here as well. So you have to do it individually. But now, if I just click here outside, let's select only one part from here, and what you can do is you guys can come here and from here, let's go to the select option from here, let's go to this mesh. And from here, what you guys can do is you guys will be able to select only this particular part. Okay? So if you come here and let's just check all these things out over here. Let's go to Mish. And from here, if you want to actually merge, you guys will be able to merge it from here as well. Okay? So now, I will come here, select this one. Let's kick on Control J. Okay, so I will just click on Control J to link. So I'll go to select from here, and from select, I will go to select linked. So the shortcut key for that is Control L. So I will click on Control L. And over here, you guys can see now the whole thing over here actually got in selected. Okay. So now here, the whole thing got selected, right. And now, if you want to separate this as a different object. So over here in the offset panel, now you guys can see, this one is under the door layer. But now, if you want to have another object, and if you want to just unlink this, what you can do is you guys can come here as you have basically selected this one. And now what you'll do is you will go to this particular option. Okay? So if you go to this mesh option, and from here, if you click on separate, And now if you click on selection, now this one is selected separately. So if you want to see this one, you guys can click on tab again. And now if you click on G, you guys are able to move this one individually. Okay? So now you will be able to move this thing individually. But over here, you guys can see the object origin is right over here at the center itself. Okay? So if you want to change it, what you guys can do is you guys can come here and from here, let's go to object. And from here, let's click on set origin. And here you guys can click on origin to three D cursor, otherwise, origin to geometry. Okay, now over here, you do have this one over here at the center. And now, the same way, if I am here in the object mode. So now let's come here. Let's go to this edit mode. So now here also you guys can see, this is selected as door one. I'll come here, and I will just name this one as spear. So I will just name this one as spear over here. And now, if I go back to my object mode over here, you guys can see, I do have my object mode right over here. So if I click on rotation, using this particular angle, it will get rotated. But if I just go back to the same position, how it was before, otherwise, let's take this particular o cursor right over here. Okay, let's say, come here. And now what you'll do is you will go to this mesh option. And from here, you go to the snap. And from here, if you go to the cursor, you guys will be able to go to the cursor as well. Okay? So you guys can come here and let's go back. And now, this one is a different object. If you click on R, it will give this one upper rotation. So here you guys can see If you just double click over here again, let's name this one as peer, and I'll just save it up right over here. Okay. And now, if you select all of this, you guys can see that you will be able to move this one individually. So over here, you guys can see that you will be able to move this one altogether, both of this, but if you select this one and click on G to move around, it will be selected individually. Okay? And also, you have actually managed to put this object origin over here in the center of this perdicula icon using the snap option, or the set origin option from here. Okay? So now let's come here, and you guys might be thinking, in what case, should I actually put this or join this one, and which case should I just separate this. So you have to understand that concept basically. Suppose you do have a table, and there you do have different kind of icons in your three D animation. Okay? So if you think that you might change all of those, then you guys can actually change those things down or do it individually. But as for starting, I will prefer that you guys don't join the objects. But now you guys can actually separately work with those objects. But as you guys can see, if I select this one and if I go to g, and now if I want to move it in the x axis here, you guys can see both of these objects will move all along. Now, if you want to select it individually, come here, select this option. Now let's go to the edit mode. And from the edit mode, what you can do is select only one particular object. Now let's go to the select option. Then from here, you go to select linked, click on the linked option right over here. And what you can do is now come here, let's go to the object mode, and from object, let's go to snap and otherwise, let's come here. And from object, what you can do is you guys can go to object right over here, or from here, you guys can go to the select option as well. Okay, so come here and from here, you guys can actually select any options. Okay. If you want to actually put up a parent, Okay, you guys can come here, and you guys can put up a parent as well. And if you want to separate those things, you guys can come here, and you guys will be able to separate all of this from here as well. Okay? So now, let's come here. Let's select this. And now let's go to the edit mode. From here. Now, let's select only one part from here. Let's go to this option, select linked, click on the linked option, and the whole thing over here got selected. So now if you go to the mesh option, and if you want to separate, you guys can come here to the separate option and click on selection. And now, this one is also individually selected. Okay? So now, if you want to scale it up, individually, you guys can come here and if you want to give this thing upper rotation, you guys can go to the object mode. And from object mode, let's come here. If you want to select it, give this thing upper rotation. You guys can actually give this thing upper rotation. And now I want to change this origin. So right click over here on this object, go to this object option. Otherwise, come here. Let's go to the object option. And from here now, let's go to set origin, and here you guys can click on origin over here. And now if you want to scale, it will be scaled from the center itself. Now, click on S, and this is how you guys will be able to scale it up quite like this. And if you want to give this thing up a rotation, click on r and over here, you guys can see. Now you will be able to give some rotation. From this side as well. Okay, so if you want to put it right over here, now let's move out this angle from here, and if you want to increase the size, you guys can actually increase the size on the x axis as well. So come here. Now, let's click on x. And now, I will come here. Now if you select this one, you guys can actually move. Otherwise, if you just click on S, and if you just move it all along, it will be moved all along, if you click on Z. Okay, so come here, click over here. And now let's select the option as S. Then now I will just select the Z. And from here, you guys can see it is only increasing the size from the Z axis. So, yeah, I hope you guys have understood this class on how you will be able to select all of these objects individually, as well as how you all will be able to select this in a joint group. Okay? So if you want to select all of this again, you guys can actually put this one inside one object. Let's come here. Let's change this one's name to spear. Okay? So come here. Let's click and let's type spear over here. And you guys can see I do have the whole thing right over here as well. Okay, so I will just change its name to a Celinda, come here. Let's click Calnda now I will click on Enter from here as well. So here I do have a camera. I do have a cube. Okay. So this one is the object origin. Here I do have my cylinder. Here I do have the door, and also here I do have my light option. So if you want to frame it all, go to view and click on Frame, and here you are able to see. The light from here as well. Okay, so if you want to move this, you guys will be able to move it from here as well. Okay. So I hope you guys have understood this class on how to actually work over here and make different kind of icons, and what are the usage of the origin? So at first, it might sound a little bit tricky, but with time once you keep on practicing for a whole time, and if you don't understand this tutorial, make sure that you prefer this again and again. So I hope to see you all in the next chapter till then, take care and goodbye, everyone. 10. Understanding about duplicating, joining and instancing: Hello, everyone, and welcome you all to another chapter of Essential tutorial. So now we are on our Chapter number nine. And here, we'll be understanding about duplicating, joining, and also we'll be learning what instancing is. So we'll be learning about all of that in detail here in this particular chapter. So let's west time and let's get started. So over here, as you guys can see, now I'm here in the home page of the blender. The first thing, if you want to duplicate any object, you guys can select that object. And after that, you guys can go to the object option, and from here, you do have the duplicate objects over here. Okay? Now, if I want to duplicate a object, let's take this particular cube. Let's go to object, and you guys can actually select the duplicate object option. Otherwise, click on Shift D from your keyboard. So if I click on duplicate objects, you guys can see I do have this cursor now you guys can see I also do have this particular cube bribed over here. So if you want to put this cube right somewhere over here, and let's say if you want to align it over here in any one of these lines, you guys will be able to do that from here as well. Let's say I want to align it to the x axis, so I will just click on x. And over here, you guys can see now I am able to move on to the x axis. And let's say if I want to move it through the y axis, I'll click on y and it will move along the y axis right from here. Okay? And let's say if you want to do it from the Z axis, click on Z, and you guys can increase or just join this one altogether right over here as well. Okay? So now, let's move it through the y axis. And if you just place it right over here, you guys can see this is how it looks. So if you want to duplicate it again, click on Shift and D, and now you guys can actually move it right over here. Okay? So this is how you guys will be able to move it free hand. And suppose from here, directly, if you want to scale it, you guys can come here, and you guys will be able to scale it right from here as well. Okay? So now let's select it right over here. And now, if you want to move it, you guys can click on G. And now you guys can basically move it al. Okay? So you guys come here. Let's click on the y axis. Okay, let's click on G. And now let's click on y. So over here, I will just maintain this one. Let's click on S. And now, if you want to decrease the size, you guys can come here, and you guys will be able to decrease the size. Let's click on G. To bring it right over here. And this is how I will be actually able to duplicate of all these things together. Okay. So now if you come here, if you just want to delete, let's click on the delete button together. Let's delete it right from here as well. Okay. So now here, as you guys can see, now I do have only one cube. Again, I will click on Shift D to duplicate. And now, if I want to align it to the y axis, I'll click on y, and I will just move it all along right over here. And the same way, if you come here, let's take this particular object. And if you want to give this thing up a rotation as well, click on Shift D. And now, what you can do is you guys can just come right over here. Let's click on r, and now you guys can basically give this thing up a rotation as well. Let's say I want to give this rotation on a y axis. Otherwise, let's give this one upper rotation on the x axis. So come here, select the x, and now you guys can see you are able to give this thing upper rotation. So now over here, you guys can see I do have this particular object. And now, if I just give this one round, here you guys can see how it actually looks. Okay? So these are basically two different objects, which I had just merged over here. And if you want to go back, click over onto the delete option, and now I do have deleted this particular part from here as well. So now here I do have both of these cubes So now, again, if I come here and now if I click on shift and D, and if I'm trying to move it and suppose what I want is no, I don't want to move it now. Okay? So in that case, again, what I'll do is I will just click on Escape. So now, here you guys can see. You guys might be thinking, Okay, the whole thing went off, but not accordingly. So over here, you guys can see, actually, I do have my cube over here, but which is just on top of this one. It had just disable that it won't be able to move. But here, again, if I click on G, and now you guys can see I am able to move, The same thing right over here. So you guys can come here. And now if you click on the y axis, you guys can actually move it around the y axis from here. So come here. Let's just put it here in the y axis. So now, over here. Now if you want me to change the name, I will be able to change the name from here. But let's select this and now let's delay this, okay? I just want both of these cubes. So for that, again, what I'll do is I'll just drop down this cube menu. Let's come over here, and I will just drop down this menu right over here as well. So now from here, what I'll do is I will come here and I will just go to my edit mode using the tab. And now I will select this vertices. And what I can do is I will just select this vertices right over here. Let's select this whole part. Okay, so let's try to click on shift and select this whole thing out right over here. And if you want to change it, you guys will be able to change it from here as well. Okay? So if you click on G, you guys can see now you are able to make some things quite like this. Okay, so you guys can come here and place it quite over here. Okay. So now let's come here and let's go back. And now, if you want to change it as an object, you guys can see. Now, if you click on G, you will be able to move this around the x axis, the y axis from here, as you guys can see. Okay so you guys can come here. Let's just place it over here in the center again. Okay. So now, this was about how you will be able to duplicate your object and transform those. So now let's come here and let's say I will just delete this one. Let's come select this one. Let's go to control Z. Okay, so let's come here. And now, again, I am back at the same option. Okay. So now let's come here and from here, So now, over there, I have showed you that if I'm changing that one, there was no vertical changes. Okay? So now, if I come here, let's take this cube o one, and I will just delete this. And what I'm going to do now is I will go to the object mode, and from here, I will just select this whole thing out. And let's say I want to duplicate this one again, but I will just duplicate only this object. So for that, again, I need to go to the object option. And from here, I will select the duplicate let. So now over here, I will click on Duplicate linked, and now I can just place it maybe somewhere here. Okay. So over here, you guys can see now I do have duplicate the linked as well. And now, let's say if I come here and from here, if I go to the edit mode, so let's select this part over here. And now, if I do make any kind of changes, let's go with G. Now, here you guys can see both of this particular parts or both of this object are getting selected at once, and I am able to move this thing up accordingly. Okay? So you guys, once you are sure, you guys can just click Enter, and this is how you guys will be able to move. So come here again. Let's say I want to change this part here as well. So come here and select this individual options from here as well and move it up. Click on G, and here you guys can see. You guys can actually move this thing up over here. So now I'll just click outside, and here you guys can see, you do have this perdicar object of the same resemblance. And this one is known as the instancing. So this is known as the instancing that once you just copy only this perdicular part. Over here, you guys can see now you also do have this subtopic, here you can also call it the object detail. So here, the object detail are basically the same. So you didn't actually copy the object, but you also copied also the linked things. Here you just copied the whole details. The details over here are basically the same. If you do any kind of changes over here, it will show the similar changes in this particular cube as well. But over here, also, if you want to actually change it individually, let's say they can have different kind of aspect ratios. So if you come here as I have selected this one, and now if I want to move it, let's click on G. So from here, you guys can come here and let's just select the whole thing out. Okay, let's go to the object mode. And from object mode, let's select this one, and let's move it in the y axis. Let's click on G, and let's click on y. And you guys can move it to another axis. And now, if you want to give this thing a rotation, click on R, and you guys can come here and just give this thing up a rotation on the x axis. So come here, click on x, and here you guys can just give this thing up a rotation. Okay. So once you're done with this particular part, the next thing, what you will do over here is if you want to change all of those again, come here into the cube option. And from object mode, let's go to the edit mode again. And now, if I select this particular part over here on top, and if I want to change it, let's click on G. And now, if you want me to move, here you guys can see. I am able to move this thing, but over here, you guys can see it's showing Differently because over here, I do have a different kind of rotation, and over here, I do have a different kind of rotation as well. So I've showed you guys how you will be able to duplicate. And also, I've shown you guys about instancing right over here. So now, over here, if you want to actually unlink all of this. Let's say, let's come here. Let's go to the object mode. And from here, now I will just click on Shift D. And now I will just duplicate it right over here. And again, from here, I will just click on Shift D, and I will place it one over here as well. Okay? So if I want to make it one independent object, that I will only change this one's property. I will come here, and let's say I will come to this option, and I will select this blue icon right over here. Okay, so I will just take out this blue icon. Over here. Okay, let's come here. If you want to select this one, let's select this particular part. And now, what you can do is you guys can see which one is are copy. Okay? So just come to this cube option. Here you guys can see this one is following the number two. And also right over here, if you go to this particular cube, let's say you just click onto this option. So here also this one will also select the number two option right from here. Okay. So for that, what you can do is each and every time you guys can come here, and maybe you guys can just turn it off. So come here. Let's say to this particular option, so this green eye right over here, and you guys can turn it off from here as well. Okay? So once you're done, now, if you go to the edit mode, let's come here. Let's go to the edit mode from here again. And now, if you change any vertices, Okay, so you guys can come here. Let's select this verticx and from here, if you click on G, and if you move one, here you guys can see individually, you guys will be able to move. Okay. So this is how you guys will be able to unlink as well. And also, you will be able to do the same thing with cameras. Okay, so if you want to view it from a angle. And now, if you want to just frame all, go to view and from here, let's click on frame A. And right now, as you guys can see over here, I do have all of these things over here on my frame. So on this particular side, I do have my camera. So now let's go to the object mode. And from object mode, I will select this one, and if I click on shift D. So here you guys can see. I do have created a copy. And now, again, the same way if I come here and if I click on Alt D, what will happen is I will just come here. Let's click on Alt D or let's go to object. And from here, if you just click on duplicate linked. Here you guys can see. Now I do have just duplicated the link from here as well. Okay, now let's come here. And if I change any properties, let's say if I come here and if I just increase the focal length, you guys can see both of these focal lengths are changing. But here, This one is just an individual camera. If I change this one, okay, the focal length of this particular thing, you guys can see only this thing is getting affected. Okay? So, this one is one individual one and this one is basically the linked one. So yeah, I hope you guys have understood that how you will be able to duplicate, join and do instancing over here in blender. So in many cases, it will be quite important for you to work. Okay. So yeah, I hope to see you all in the next chapter where we'll be learning more about this blender. And basically, we'll be learning about pivots and also about snapping and also we'll know about proportional editing. Okay? So how you'll be able to start your journey with proportional editing right over here. So I hope to see you all in the next chapter. So take care, everyone, and goodbye. 11. Pivots, snapping and proportional editing: Hello, everyone, and welcome you to another of the blender essential tutorial. So now we are on our Chapter number ten, where I'll be showing you guys how you will be able to work with pivots, snapping and the proportional editing. So first, I'll be telling you about the pivots, and also after that, I'll be telling you how you will be able to snap your object over here, in the vertexes, we'll be learning about that and also how you will be able to do some proportional editing, okay we'll be actually exploring a lot here in this particular chapter. So let's not waste time and let's get started. So here, as you guys can see. Now, I'm here in the work space of the blender. So from here, as you guys can see, I do have my objects right over here, and also here in the site panel, I do have all of these options. Okay? So to make you guys know about the pivots, for me, I will go in the o view. So for that, I will come here, click on this vertex, and I will just click on this option. And over here, I will just delete all the other ones. I will come here, I'll delete this one. Let's come here and let's delete this camera as well. Now, select this one, and now you guys can actually duplicate. You guys click on shift and D. Come here. L click on this option. Let's click on G to move around, so I will bring one over here. And Also again, what I'll do is, I will click on Shift D, and I will just place it right over here. And again, Shift D to place it right over here once again. Also, I can basically do without maintaining a line. So I will come here. Let's select this one. Let's shift D, and over here, you guys can see I do have more objects right over here. Now, let's click here. Let's click on this particular option shift ten D. And here you guys can see. Now I do have different copies of different type of cubes right over here. You guys can basically see that over here in my opposite panel as well. The first thing, what you will be able to do is let's say if you come here and let's select all of it. Once you select all of this, and now if you try to give this thing a rotation, let's click on r from my keyboard. Now here you guys can see once I am trying to give this one up a rotation. It is basically rotating from this particular place. Because over here in my private option, it is selected by default as the median point. What the median point is. Let's say over here, I do have different object. Over here, what they do is they do create a unseen bounding box. So over here, that is basically the medium or that is just the center once you put all of this thing inside a bounding box. Over here, they will just make which one is the center and you will be able to rotate this accordingly. If I come here, if I click on R, from this particular end, you guys can see it's just giving this thing up a rotation. Come here. Click on this option. And under pivots, I also do have different option. So here, now, if I just create a bounding box, it is also kind of the same. Over here, it will just create a basic center. And from that particular center, what they'll do is they will give this thing up a rotation. So this one was about the bounding box. And now let's come here and over here, you guys can actually rotate all of these things from a three D cursor. So from here, you guys can see at this time, my three decursor is basically present over here. And now in my pivots, So now if I select the three D cursor. Now, if I try to give this one R rotation, you guys can see now from here at this particular center, I am able to give this one upper rotation. Okay, so you guys can actually change the positioning of this particular three D cursor. Okay? And now, let's say if you come here and if you want to go with the active element option. So now if I just select the active element option, and from here, basically, I will be able to select from which one, actually it will give this one upper rotation. Now, if I come here and if I click on shift, and if I just select this one over here, let's say, if I come here, let's click on shift. And now, if I just give this thing up a rotation, now let's come here. Let's go back. Now let's select all of it. And what I'm going to do is I am going to come here and over here, this is basically the active element. And now from here, you guys can basically see from this particular part, my things are actually getting a rotation. And if you want to scale it up here as well, if you just click on Yes. Okay. So from here, basically, you guys can see it is basically scaling from this particular part here itself. So I can just decrease the size. And over here, that is the usage of the bounding box center, the three decursor and also the active element and also the median point. So this was about all of these things. And lastly, we'll be learning about individual origins. Okay? So if I come here, let's select all of it. And from here, now once I've selected the individual origins, what it will do is it will individually increase the size or it will individually give all of this thing up a rotation. Okay? So if I come here, click on R, and here you guys can see now individually, all of these things are giving a rotation right over here. You guys can come here and give this one up a rotation quite like this. You guys can come here and use this basic pivot point. So these are the transformation pivot point right from here, okay? Now, let's come here and let's try to select all of it and let's delete. Once you have deleted, click on Shift A from your keyboard, and from here, you guys will be able to add this particular cube. Over here, I have added this particular cube. And now we will be learning about the snap option right over here. Under snapping, you do have the increment, which will be applied as default over here. So basically, now from here, if I do want to give this thing up a rotation. I can come here and basically, I will be able to give this thing up a rotation from here as well. Now if you want to actually select the cursor and move it click from your keyboard and now just select in any part, can come here. I will just click on this option. I will click on the shift or let's say I will just select shift over here, and if you want to move it, you guys can come here, select this one, and move it right over here as well. Okay. And now from here, if you basically want to select anything, suppose let's say if I want to create any kind of other object, I will be able to do that right from here. Okay. So now, once I do have my three D cursor over here, the first thing I will click on is Shift A. And from Mesh, I will click onto this plane option. Okay? So once I have click on this particular option, I will click on Alt and G, so to basically bring this one over here, okay? So now over here, if I want to increase the size, so I will click on S, and now I can basically increase the size quite like this. I will just increase the size quite over here. And now, once I have selected this, I want to now over here, if I want to bring this three dcursor again here at the center, what I'll do is I will click on Shift and S. I'll click Shift and S, and from here, I will select the cursor to world origin. Okay, so I will click over here, and now you guys can see my three dcursor is again at the center. So now let's move the x axis right from here. Okay. So now, once I do have this thing, now let's select this particular thing right over here, this middle cube. Now, what you'll be able to do is if you click on G. So if you try to move here in one corner. So if you come here and if you try to move, you guys will be able to move it, here in any vertex as well. So if you come here, let's say if you want to put it over here on top. You guys will be able to do that. If you want to put it down, you guys can basically put it down over here as well. Okay? Now, let's come here and if you are not able to snap properly. So in that case, again, what you can do is you guys can come here. Let's go to the vertex option. But from here, what I'll be able to do is I will select the center option. I will select the center option. And now I will Come here and now let's try to move it up. Let's come here. Let's select G. Now if you come here in this particular corners, you guys can see how it actually works. This one is coming down. If you want to align it to the sides, you guys will be able to align it on the sides as well. Now for now, let's just put it right over here. If you want to see a view in all the sides, you guys can basically see the view from all the sides here as well. Now let's place it right over here. So right over here, I will come on top and I'll just on the snapping. Okay. So as I have created and this one is in the vertex format. I will come here and I will click on G. And whenever I'm coming to any of the corner, it is actually taking this corner accordingly, it is getting attached to the corners right over here. So if you guys want to see if you come here, here, also, you guys can see how it actually snaps. So you guys can come here and basically snap this thing around. But let's say now you are not able to snap the way you want it. So now you are not able to snap the way you want it to do. So for that, now, let's give this thing up a rotation from here again. Now let's keep this thing right over here in the middle. Now, over here, let's try to get a view from here in one side. Now if I just place it right over here. Again, if I want to snap it in all sides, I can basically do that from here as well. So how you will be able to do that? Now let's come here and let's see. Let's say I want to snap it here on top. There are two different ways. Let's come here and from closes, I will go to the center option. Okay? And I'll just keep this one as vertex as well. Okay. So now let's click on G. And now here if you want to move here, you guys can see it will basically snap on the side. So you guys can just see right over here. It is basically snapping on the side. If you come here and if you want to slap it over here in the center, you guys can basically do that. So you guys just need to bring your origin, and here it will just snap here in the center not underneath. But for me, I will prefer that you guys basically use this particular option itself. So let's come here. Let's go back and now I will come here, and I will use the closets itself. And I'll also tell you that how you will be able to sort out the problem. So if you come here, click on G, let's say if I just come here on top, if I just come here onto the border right over here. Now, if I click on to the G option. Let's come here. Let's just put this thing over here in one side. And for that, now let's move it up. So if you want to come right over here, and now, let's say, I just want to move this thing up. So now let's click on G. And now, let's try to keep this thing, one, here in one corner. So now, once I have keep this thing here in one corner, what you're going to do is you are going to come here, click on to the closest option. And from here, now, if you just select this thing up, and now if you click on G, you guys can see it will basically snap over here in one side. Okay? So if you want to snap quite like this, come here here on top again, and this is how you guys will be able to snap. Okay, so if you want to rotate and see how it actually works, it works like a pillar over here. Okay. So the same way, what you can do is you guys can come here. Let if you just click on G to move, let's say if I come here and if I try to snap here, you guys can see now I am able to snap, the way I want, if I want to use all of this as a pillar. Okay? So the same goes with this particular one on top here as well. So this is how you guys will be able to snap your things all around, right over here, if you want to do it in any corner. And over here, if you also want to snap through the ages, you guys can come here, select the age option. And now let's say I will just select this one, click on G, and now here you guys can see I am able to snap. On all the sides. If you want to go outside as well, you guys can basically go outside and you guys can snap it from here itself. Okay, so you guys can see now you guys can basically snap it here in the line. Let's say if I want to put it right over here, I will be able to put it right over here itself. So now let's come here and here, you do have another option called the face option. Okay? So we'll be learning about that as well. So now, over here, let's say you select this particular thing, and what you're going to do is you are going to come here in the snapping option. And if I come here, select the face. Now, let's select this one. Let's click on G, and over here, you guys can see on the face of this particular thing you are able to snap. Okay, so you guys can place it the way you want. Let's come here. Let's just place it right over here, and that was about snapping here in the face. Okay. So now I hope you guys have understood this few things. Okay? So this were the main ones of how to snap two. And now, again, I will go to the vertex one. I will come here on the vertex option over here. Now, if you want to see the view, from all the sides, you guys are able to see the view from all the sides over here as well. Now, let's come here. Let's place it over here in one side. Okay, so I have just put this one through the right side a little bit. So, in that case, now, there is another useful thing over here is if you come to the Snap to option here, you do have an option called a line rotation to target. Okay? So I'll show you what is the use of that. So once I on this one, what I'll do is I will just select this one, and now, let's come here and let's view it quite like this. And now, if I give this one up a rotation, now let's give r from here, now, if I just give this one up a rotation, and now let's select this particular thing. And over here, what I'm going to do is if I click on the G, let's say I will come here and from here, I will turn this aligned rotation option, and from here, I will on the vertex. So I will come right over here. And from here, now, if I click on G. Once I'm coming here into this particular path, you guys can see it is actually getting selected to the path itself. You guys can come here and you guys can see it is just snapping over here on the path according to the plane over here. You guys can come here, set this one up, and if you want to see the total view, how it actually looks. You guys can see the base of this particular cube is perpendicular to the. Plane base. So again, I will go back control Z. I will just go back right over here. So control back. And now let's move this z axis from here. So I will just move it right over here. And now I will just turn it off back again. So make sure that sometimes it might be quite confusing if you don't remember that you do have this option on, which is aligned rotation to target, because you will be able to try to create some different objects, but you won't be able to do that right from here. So I'll just turn this back off again. So now, the most part, what I'll be using is I will be coming here and I'll be using the B option. Okay, so I will just click B from my keyboard that I will be able to snap. So I'll be showing you guys also how to do that. So for that, you need to make sure that you're in your vertex and your aligned rotation to target is off. Okay? So now once I have selected this one, I'll click on G, and now I can basically move this thing around. So once you move this thing around, what you can do is you can just set up a vertex. So if you just click on B over here, you guys can see it had selected option. So what I can do is I can just select any of this angle right from here. Let's say I will just select this particular part. And now, what I can do is I can come here and actually, I can just change up the vertex. So come here and maybe place it up here on the right. Okay. So if you want to place it up here on the right, you guys will be able to see that it will basically snap. Okay. So here you guys can see it basically snapped over here. And also on this particular end also, you guys can see it snapped. And if you come here, it snapped over here as well, and also to this particular end, it also snapped over here as well. And if you want to see the view of this whole sign, you guys can come here and actually can get the view of this particular thing. Now, if you come here and if you want to duplicate any part from here, in that case, there are a lot of things about snapping. So I'm just telling you guys about the very basic. Let's say from here, you just want to duplicate this top part. For that, what you need to do is you need to come here, select this icon, and using the tap key, you guys can go to this particular option. Let's come here and from here, let's select the face. I will just select this stop face. And now I will click on Shift D. Using Shift D, here you guys can see. Now you guys are able to move this around. You guys can come here. And you guys can basically move this around all from here. Now, let's say, if you want to click over here. You do have clicked over here on this vehicular place, and what you can do is if I just go back. Now, if I click on Shift D, you guys can see I do have this thing duplicated. So if you want to just move this all along, you guys can again click on Shift D. Basically you guys will be able to move this all along or if you want to place it right over here, you guys will be able to place it from here as well. So now, as I have just pasted this thing right over here. Again, what I can do is I can just click on G. And after that, I can basically put it here in any corner. Okay? So let's say if you want to put it here in one corner in one of the sides. You guys can come here, and you guys can basically use this particular option right over here as well. So if you want to just view it, you guys can come here and basically you guys will be able to view it from here as well. So the next way of how you will be able to snap is if you come here and the same way, let's click on G. And after that, let's just select this particular part, and this is how you guys will be able to on and off this animation. Okay? So now, if you just deselect each and everything from all the sites, you guys can see how this particular model basically looks. Okay? So this is how this particular model looks like. And let's say now, if you don't want to snap. Okay. So now I will come here. Let's select this one, and I'll just delete this one. Okay, so I'll just delete the vertices. And from here now as I do have this option in the edit mode as well. So from here now, let's say I do I don't have this snap option on. So now I will again go and close this one. And now, if I just move this thing around, let's click on G. Okay, so let's here Let's try to select this individually, and if I click on G, you guys can see it will just snap onto the sides, as my vertex snapping is on, over here on top. Now, let's say if you don't want the snapping for temporarily, what you can do is you guys can come here and you guys can basically click on control. Once you click on control over here, here, you guys can see on the sides, it's not basically snapping. It is not basically snapping on the sides over here. But now, if I just turn off, or if I don't hold the control, you guys can see it is basically snapping there back again. Okay. And now, let's say the same way, I will just come here, let's play it. And now, if I just turn off my snapping, and now let's click on G to rotate. And now, if I click on Control, now if I come here and if I just click on Control, you guys can see it will basically snap over here onto the sides. Okay, so you guys can see it is basically snapping. But over here, my snapping option is basically turned off. Now you guys can see I am not able to snap. So I can come here. Again, I will just click on Control and I'll just snap it right over here. This was about the pivot and snapping. Next thing we'll be learning about the proportional editing objects. So this is icons. Here you guys can see, there is a small dot circle, which is surrounded by a deep circle as well. For that, if I just turn it on, here you guys can see there are a lot of options, smooth smear, root, inverse square, sharp. Okay, so all of these options are available right over here. So now to make you guys understand about that. I will come here, and I'll just delete this particular paint and from here. Now again, I will click on Alt and G to bring it over here in the center. And now, from my keyboard, I will go to my numpad, and I'll just click on seven for Tom view. Okay? So now from here, what I'll do is I will just duplicate this one. So again, for that, what I'll do is I will just click on Shift D. And now, maybe I will just come here, and I will just click on Shift D, and I'll just move it right over here as well. Also, I will just click on Shift D, and also I will just create quite like this. Again, what I'll do is I'll select all of this thing up. Shift D. Now I will just place it right over here. Again, just so out a little bit. From here, what you can do is select all of this. Now Shift D, bring it here. Down. Come here, bring it here down. Again, shift D, bring it here down as well. And also, again, I will just continue this process to make a cube of segments. So come here and from here, now I will just bring it out over here. Now here you guys can see I do have a lot of cubes right over here. Let's change this angle. Let's come here and let's change the angle. If you want to zoom out control minus to zoom out. Let's come here and let's just get this particular view from here. And let's say from here, I will select this middle cube which I do have over here. Here you guys can see I do have a middle cube. And now as I do have this proportion on, if I click on G, you guys can see, I do have this particular circle right over here. You guys can see there is a circle when I am trying to select the cube in the center, okay? So now, once I have selected, okay, you guys can see any changes. But if I just scroll my mouse up, you guys can see. Now, if I am making any changes, all these things around are getting changed as well. Okay, so now you guys can basically use this one. And here you guys can basically do some proportional editing, okay? So if I'm trying to move this one up, Okay, I want to move this one in the x axis. So here you guys can see the changes in the x axis, or if you want to change it in the Z axis, you guys can come here, and you guys can only change it in the z axis. Okay? So instead of that, if you come here and if you want to select any proportional size, you guys can come here and you guys can put the exact proportional size. Or the same way if you come here, let's take a spear. Now, let's select this one. And let's say I will come here. And now I will just take up a sphere. And from here, what you can do is, let's say I will just select this one over here in the center. Let's go with the smooth option. Okay, so you guys can come here and basically, you guys will click on G and you guys can see the changes over here. So the same way I will come here onto the spear option, and I'll just select the stop one, select g, and you guys can see the changes over here accordingly. You guys can see which one to use. You guys can come here, go back or minus as well. This is about proportional editing. Now if you come here and let's say you guys can actually use the root option as well. Let's say if you select this one, now click on G, and if you want to move it up, you guys can come here and basically move it up from here as well. And if you want to get a view from all the sites using X, you guys can basically get a view from all the other sites. You guys can actually select all of this. From here. So the sprout, spear inverse square, if you want any sharp. You guys can come here, select this one, let's select this, and let's click on G. And now over here, you guys can see the sharp changes, okay? So you guys can come here and let's go with the sharp changes right over here as well. Let's try to move the x axis over here onto the sides. And here you guys can see I do have the x axis moving right over here. Okay. So here in this particular class, I have told you guys first about the pivot. And also after that, I have told you guys different ways of snapping. Lastly, I've showed you guys about the proportional editing objects. So yeah, I hope to see you all in the next chapter where we'll be learning more about blender in detail. Take care, everyone. See you all in the next chapter, till then, goodbye. Okay. 12. Visibility and collections: Hello, everyone, and welcome you to another chapter of the Blender Essential tutorial. So now we are on Chapter number 11. And here, we'll be learning about the visibility and the collections. Okay? So we'll be learning about all of that in detail here in this class. So let's not waste time and let's get started. So over here, as you guys can see, now I'm here in the workspace and here in my three D panel, you guys can see. I do have my objects right over here. Okay. So now, first off, as you guys can see, if I change its angle, let's say if I come here and from here, if I just move the x axis. So if I come here and let's just move this thing around. Okay. So if you move this one right over here. Now, from this angle, you are not able to see. Your camera. And if you're trying to select your camera, you are not able to do that. Now, you will be able to understand it in a better way if I show you guys an example. Let's come here. Let's move the x axis again. And from here, now, let's try to duplicate this one. To duplicate, click on Sif D, and after that, just move it right over here in the y axis. Let's come and click here y. Now again, Sif D. Again, I will just click on Y to duplicate. And maybe over here, I will just create five or six of them. So come here, click on y, and now move it towards this axis and shift D. And again, I will click on Y to move it up right over here. So here as you guys can see on the y axis, I do have different objects. And if I want to view it from a different angle, if I come from here, you guys can see now I am able to view it only one object. So over here, you guys can see. Actually I do have five cubes over here, over here, the cube one to till four I have, and over here, I do have the main cube option as well. Okay? Now, if I want to select this one over here from my three D V panel, what I need to do is I need to click on Control. And now once I click on Control, if I click, you guys can see without me changing the Gizmos, I am able to select the other one. So here you guys can see. This is how you guys can come here. And this is how you guys will be able to select. So you guys can come here, click on control, and this is how you guys can basically move down. Otherwise, if you come here and if you click on Alt here you do have the option or which cube you want to go. So let's say cube three. You guys can come here and select that and work with that one as well. Now, if you want to give this one up any rotation and stuff, you guys will be able to give all of this right over here. Now, let's come here and let's just delete all of this. Okay? So let's come here. Let's click on Delete Option. And now, again, I do have my only cube here on my screen. Okay? So now, let's say if I come here, select this one, and from here, if I go to the Edit mode, let's click on tab. And now, what I'll do is I will just deselect everything. So I will come here on top to the select option. And now I will click on none. And now, let's say if I want to come here and if I want to just select it. So over here, you guys can see the front part of this particular Q has been selected. But if I just change by gizmos, over here, you guys can see all this part over here on the sides are not basically selected. So I do have to select twice to work with all of that. Okay. But if you come here using the select all option, you guys will be able to do that. Otherwise, let's just click outside. And from here, now you guys are able to view this particular thing only as a solid view, okay? But over here, we also do have different kind of views, okay? So on top, we will be learning about all of these view options. So now, over here, if I want to select only this particular part. Let's say I just want to select only this particular part of my object over here. So in that case, now what I'll do is here, as I've shown you all of these options. So here I will just on by toggle X ray. So I will show you guys how it basically works. So if you come here on top right corner and if you click on this option, over here, now you are able to view it in a X ray mode. So over here, you guys can see you are able to view it in a X ray mode. And now, if you come here and try to select, You guys can see now you are only able to select this particular part for your work. Or let's say if I come here, if I do want to select only this part. I can also do that. Otherwise, if I come here and you guys can see, this is how you guys will be able to select this thing out. And if you select the whole thing, this whole particular thing will also get selected. Okay? So this is basically the usage of the toggle X ray. And over X ray, I do have different viewpoint or shading option as well. So here if I give this viewpoint shading right over here, this is how it will look. And if I come here and if I give it a rendered or three D view, this is how it will basically look right over here. Now, again, I will come here and I will just select this shading and after that, here also you do have another option, over here, this is basically the wireframe view, or you guys can also call it as the wire frame display. So if you turn this off also, if you turn this particular or this wire frame display on, okay, it will automatically turn on this particular option over here as well. So make sure that you do that over here. And now, if you come here and let's say I want to select this particular part, you will be only able to use this particular part of the image of the object from here. And this also works quite good in the object mode. So if I come here and let's go to my object mode using tab, And now, if I come to this view and from here, let's try to add something. Let's come here. Let's go to mesh, and from here, if I want to take a U V spear. Over here, now, you guys are able to see this particular U V spear right over here in the center. Okay? So now from here, if you want to move it, you guys can just click on G, and you guys can basically move it around, and now you guys can place it right over here as well. And now from this particular sphere, let's say if I am here, in this particular option. So here you guys are not able to see or select that one quite well. So you just have to double click right over here. Now, again, if you want to view this using this particular option, let's come here and let's take this option over here as well. You guys are not able to select that one quite well, as this one is under this particular e. So I will come here back again to this particular option. And here you guys will be able to select all of that and resize it accordingly as well. Okay. So here, once you're done understanding about this, I will just turn this back off again. And now, what I'll do is I will come here and from here, I will go to the edit mode again. I will come here, go to the edit mode. And over here, you guys can basically see the overlays as well. So over here, you guys can actually see that I do have the overlay right over here. Now what I'll be able to do is I will come here and here you can see the viewpoint overlays. And now, if you want to scale it up, I have already told you how you will be able to scale up or down of these particular cubes right over here, so you'll be able to manage all these things from here itself. And now, if you want to turn all of this back off, you guys can actually turn this back off again. If you want to deactivate anything, you guys can come here and you guys can just deactivate the floor, quite like that. And if you want to just deactivate the three decursor, you guys can remove the three decursor from here itself. Okay. And just beside that, you do have the besch edit mode. Okay. If you turn on the besch edit mode over here, also, you guys can see if you don't want to see the faces over here, and if you want to work on with the shading at all, you guys can come here and work with all these things from here itself. And now, if I want to select with shortcut. Okay? So I can come here. And when I am here in my edit mode, what I can do is if I click on Z, over here, you guys can see. I do have all of these options, okay? So from here, I will select the wire frame. And now let's come here and only select this particular part. Okay, let's come down right over here. And from here, let's try to select this. Okay, so here you guys can see. I am just selecting only that particular part. Okay, so you guys come here again, z, and let's go to the wireframe view. And from here, now, let's say I want to select this particular part in total, you guys can come inside and just work with that particular pire here in the center as well. Okay, so this is how you guys will be able to select all of this thing up if you want to just turn this toggle x ray, you guys can come here and turn this off as well. So now from here, again, if you want to view the wire frame, click Z and from here, now this one is in the wireframe mode. Okay, so come here, click on the wireframe mode. So now, if you want to turn them back all off again. Let's say I do have this one on over here as well, this mesh edit mode. Okay. So now if you want to turn all of this back off again, what you can do is you guys can just click here onto the overlay option, and it will just turn right over here. Now, let's go again to the solid mode from here. And now from here, what you'll be able to do is if you come here and let's look at this toggle option. Okay, so over here, you guys can see the Gisbos option. So from here, you guys can see, I do have this particular gizmo over here in my three D panel. Okay. And now I do have this one as well. Let's say if I come here, let's select this and here you guys can see if I just click on S in the y. Okay, so this is how you guys will be able to work on with that as well. Okay, so you guys can come here and basically able to work right over here. And now, if you want to select all, you guys can come here and click on Select All. Okay. So here, the whole thing is getting selected. Let's go to object mode. And from object mode, I will come here and go to the edit mode again. And now if I go to the Stogll option, and if I just turn it off, here you guys can see now you are not able to see those gizmos. And if I come here, you are not able to see the viewport as well. Like if you do want to scale, okay, how you will be able to do that. You don't have the options right over here. You guys can come here and let's place it right over here again, and I'll on my toggle option as well. Over here, you guys can basically select individually as well, like which one you don't want and which one do you want over here. So now, just beside the stogle option, I do have the selectibility and the visible option as well. So if you come here and let's say you don't want your cameras. So for that, I will just zoom out that I am able to see all of my objects, and let's come here. And from here, let's say I don't want to see any of the cameras. So for that, I will just turn this off again. And now here you are not able to see the camera over here, okay? And now if you come here and let's say from here, what you want to do is you want to view the camera again. Over here, you guys can actually view the camera again from here. Now, let's come here and let's see about this option. Now, from here, let's say I don't want to select the light. For that, I will come here. I will select this icon. And now, if I try to select it, I won't be able to select. So let's move around the Gizmos and from here, now if I am trying to select this one, over here, you guys can see now I am only able to select read right over here. Let's come here and let's try to select it. So over here, you guys can see now I am not able to select my light. So I can come here again, and I can just click on selection. Now if I click, let's say I will come here and now I will just click here, and now I am able to select my light as well. Okay? So the same way if I come here and if I go to my object mode. So from here, let's say if I come here and if I just move around my gizmos, so I can come here and I can just select my light. Okay? So this is the way of how you will be able to work with this particular option, if you want to view the mesh or if you don't want to view the cube. Okay, you guys can come here, and you guys can just of this particular mesh, or if you want to make it invisible, you guys can come here and make it invisible from here as well. Okay. But now, instead of doing it from here, you do have the other option as well. Okay? So over here, if you want to see if you don't want to view the cube, you guys can come here and just turn it off. Okay, so over here, now, I don't have that particular cube, but I am only able to see this particular sphere. Now, this one over here in the upset panel as well. Now, if I don't want the render file to be over here, so what I can do is I can come here and maybe I can turn this off. So if I don't want to see it in the render file as well. So basically render file is basically the final file, which you will be able to see. So we'll be learning about that later. And Now, if you come here, if you just turn this off, now you won't be able to see that cube over here in your final file or the render file as well. Okay? So I will just turn this back on again, so you guys can actually do it from here in the opposite panel as well. Otherwise, there is another option. For that, you just need to go to the object option. And now, So now over here, I will select hide unselected, over here, as you guys can see, now I'm not able to see all of this, okay because all these objects over here are actually hided. Now again, I can go to object and go to show hide. And now I can click on show hidden objects. So over here, now you guys can see all of these four objects are over here as well. You guys can also select the shortcut key. Let's click on shift. And with this one, now, if I just click on H, I do have my objects hide. And now, if I just click on Ath, here you guys can see, I have just unhide. By objects over here. So this was about the visibility right over here. Okay. Now, we will also learn that how you will be able to come here and now from this restriction toggles, if I on this particular viewpoints, and now if I come here and on the selectibility, and now over here, you guys can see that I do have the render option, and over here, I do have the selection option at the option, and also this particular option. Okay. So from here, if I if I disable the viewpoint, let's say if I come here to the cube and if I just disable the viewpoint, You guys can basically see that now I'm not able to see the cube over here. So I can basically select these things out and work with all of this quite easily. So if I just turn this off again and if I click on the icon, you guys might be thinking that, okay, this both are the same thing. But when you do have different kind of objects, like different kind of hard settings, that time this one is quite important. You guys can come here and check all of these things out. You guys can think this one icon, this monitor icon, basically as the higher version of this icon. Okay, so you guys can come here and if you want to turn it on and off back again, you guys can come here and see all of this. Okay? So you guys can come here and check these things out. And again, if you want to turn it off again, you guys can come here and just turn it off from here. Okay? Let's say from here, what you do is if you come over here and now from this particular cube, if you want to unhide, here you guys can see this particular icon is basically on. But now you are not able to see that particular cube which you had. Okay? So now you guys can come here and once you on this one, let's select this option as well. And now you guys can see here it was basically off. That's why you were not able to see the cube. So you can turn that on back again. And after that, let's say if you come right over here, And from here, specifically, you don't want to basically move this particular object or this particular cube. But inside, you want to work with the spear individually without just moving this particular position. So in that case, if you want to focus in only one object and work. In that case, you guys can come here, go to view, and from view, you guys can come here and basically go to the local view option. And from here, you guys can on the toggle local view. You guys can come here and you guys can basically on the toggle local view. So for that, if I come here, let's select the spear. And from here, now let's go to view. And now let's go to local view, and from here, you guys can basically on the togle view. Okay? So from here, basically, now you guys can see this is only an object. Now, you guys might be thinking that, okay, you do only have one spear right over here. But now, if you just go back and only for this particular object, you are able to see this particular thing quite like this. Okay, so you guys can come here and if you want to make any changes, you guys can actually do or make the changes, if you want to change the positioning, you guys can come here and change the positioning individually from here as well. Okay. So now, again, I will just come back. And from here, now, if you just go back, go to view. And from here, now let's go to local view. And now, you guys can actually click on local view. So now here you guys can see the positioning over here have changed a bit. Okay? So you guys can come here, click on G, and you guys can basically move this around. Okay. So if you want to get it or look it from a different view, you guys can come here. Let's just zoom in using Control plus. And now, again, I will click on G to move because I just want to put it over here in the center. Okay, so I will just put it right over here. And now, if you try to view it from other angle, this is how it actually looks. Okay? So if you want to scale it down also, you guys can click on S. And now you guys can click on. And here you guys can see that you are able to decrease the size. And if you want to decrease the size from the X axis, you guys can come here, click on S. And after that, you guys can click on x, so you guys can come here and click on x, and you guys can basically place this one quite like this. So here, this is how it actually looks, and let's come here and let's change it from the y axis again. So click on S. And now I will basically click on y. And what I can do is I can come here. Let's click on S, and now I can just decrease the size accordingly. Now you guys can basically view it right over here, that now this particle cube looks quite great. Using this particle option, you guys will be able to work on over here to create some nice animation from all the dimensions. So now, over here, what I'll do is if I want to select multiple objects. So for that, I will come here. I will change the view. And if I want to zoom out, I will just zoom out from here. Okay, so I will just take multiple objects. Let's select this one. Let's click Shift D, and let's click on G. And now from here, you guys can actually move on. Shift D. Again, I will just duplicate this one and place it right over here. And again, Shift D. And place it right over here as well. Okay? So again, I will click on Shift D. And now I will just place these things quite over here as well. So now let's say I want to select all of these five things right over here at one toggle animation. Okay. So for that here, you guys can see, I do have the option of scene, y. And here you do have the scene collection and also the collection. So you guys can come here. And what you can do is from here, basically you guys will be able to create a new collection. So now let's say if you come right over here, let's take all of these cubes altogether if you want to select this. So let's come here. Let's select all of this, and now you guys can just drag and drop it right over here, so you guys can come here and you guys can basically move here in the scene collection. So over here, you guys can see. Now this one is basically under scene collection. Okay. So over here, if I just on the collection as well. Under collection, I only have this two option. Okay? So now, if I come here and if I just turn off this collection option, you guys are not able to see the camera and also the light. Okay, so you guys can come here and on this one again. And now, if I want to select all of this, let's come here, select all of this cubes. And now, what I'll do is I'll come here and I will click on new collection. Okay. So over here, now I do have a new collection, and what I can do is I can just move this one up to the collection number two. So now if I just turn it off and I can just name this one. Okay, I can come here and let's name this one as cubes. I will come here and name this one as cubes. And I will just name this one as C L. Okay? So this one is camera and light. So I will just name this one. And now here if I don't want to view, so I can come here and I can just turn it off. And over here, if I don't want the light and the camera, I can turn it off from here as well. So now, if I come here, let's move the angle from here. And now, as you guys can see, I do have all of this right over here. And if I do want off, and here you guys can see that, I do have the six items right over here. So now you guys can come to this particular options, if you want to have this one as new or if you want to put this one in the sin collection, you guys can come here and you guys can basically put here in the scene collection. So now here you guys can see. Now this one is basically not under the seal or the cube. Option. Okay. So now, this one is just a separate layer. Okay so you guys can actually select a separate layer right from here also. And here, now I have this particular mode called the view layer mode. Okay. So now if I want to turn it off and on again, and now let's say I will just turn off this one, but over here, I will have this particular que by itself. Okay. So now I have all of these options to just make our work look better. Okay, I can use all this sin collection option. I can actually create new collection, and I can have a lot of them right over here from where I will be able to select the visibility and also the rendering option. So now, from this, if you come right over here, and let's say if you want to add something over here in this particular cube, let's say if you want to add something right over here, you guys can come here and maybe from here, if you just click on Shift A, if I come on to this option, and from here, if I click on Shift A. Here now I will just here. Shift A. And now, if I try to create a mesh. So let's come here, create a cube. So here you guys can see another cube has been added. So if you come here and let's say where it's basically added, here you guys can see in the camera option, it is being added. So what I can do is I can just bring this thing down right over here. So now I can come here and I can just bring it right over here down as well. Okay. So this was about selecting all of these things, how you will be able to select. And also, over here, you guys will be able to do the instancing. Okay? So if you are used to work in group, it might take some time for you guys to learn. Okay? So there is another way if you want to group things up, you guys can come here. And from here, what you can do is you guys can go to the view option. And from here, you guys can actually go to viewpoint or you guys can just click on this perspective option. I'll come here and I'll click on Shift A. And from here, I will just go to an empty option. And from here, I will take plane axis. Okay. So now I do have this plane axis option. Using G, if I do want to move this, I can come here, and basically, I will be able to move this one up. Okay, so I can come here and I can just move this swap up. And after that, what you guys can do, let's select this cube and let's put it inside the empty option, come here. Let's just put it over this empty option. If you come here, click on this option. Let's come here and let's try to put it inside this one. Okay? Otherwise, what I can do is I can come here and let's take the cubes, and from here, I will just move it right here. Okay. So after that, if you come and if you try to give this thing up a rotation. Okay? So if you come here, let's take the cubes. Okay, so let's come here. Let's take the cubes, and after this drop down, you guys can see using shift, I can just select all of it. Okay, so come here and using shift. You guys can select all of it. And if you want to give it a rotation. So using R, you guys can come here, and you guys will be able to give this thing up a rotation. So here you guys can see G to move, and here if I click on R, you guys can see I am able to rotate it over here as well. So I can place it right over here, and after that, if I want to come here, and let's say I want to actually duplicate it. So in that case, I will come here and now I will just select the cubes. And if you want to deselect it altogether, you guys can just view all of this altogether from here itself. Okay, so come here. Let's select all this thing up. And after that, what I'm going to do is let's come here to So for that, I will click on Shift A. And after that, here you guys can see collection instance. And from here, now, what I'll do is I will take the cubes. And now over here, if I click on Shift D, you guys can see, I can just do click at this one. Okay? So now from here, individually, if I come, and let's say what I want to do is I want to select all of this and from here, I want to change anything up. Okay. So if you just click on G, over here. So I have just duplicated this part over here as well. Now if I click on R and if I try to give this thing up a rotation, you guys can see the rotation is applied to all of it over here. Now if you want to view it from other angles, if you want to change the x axis, come here, select x, and now this one. Let's click on G. And now, if you want to move it up, you guys can come here. And if you want to give this thing up a rotation, you guys can come here and give up a rotation as well. If you want to scale it up, you guys can come here and scale it up and down as well. So I will just scale it up quite like this. So this is all about instancing. So I hope you guys have understood this class on how you will be able to work over here in Blender for your selection. And also, I've taught you guys about collection as well. So I hope to see you all in the next chapter, where we'll be learning more about blender. Take care, everyone. Okay. 13. Mesh normals and smoothing: Hello, everyone. And welcome you to another chapter of the blender Essential tutorial. So now we are on our chapter number 12. And here, we'll be learning about the mesh normals and the smoothing as well. Okay? So how the mash actually normally works, what are the lighting which helps this one. And also, we'll be learning about smoothing indeed in this particular chapter. So let's not waste time, and let's get started. So now here, as you guys can see, now I'm here in the work space of the blender. So basically, from here, now, if you look closely, let's just so e a little bit. Over here, you guys can see now the coloring changes right over here. So on top, they do have a bright color. And here on this particular side, they do have a little bit of dark color. And also here, they do have some average color. So if you guys just give this thing up a rotation, you guys can see the changes in the color. So if you want to come here and if you want to change this thing up, So in that case, what you need to do is you need to come over here on top. And just beside the options, you guys can click on this particular arrow icon. And from here, you guys can see I do have the option for lining. So I can come here and basically I will be able to choose the colors or I will be able to choose the shading from here. You guys can come here and basically use this options, all of this precept, and here you guys can see. Now, it's just giving color all around. Okay? So here, you guys can basically use this one as well. And now if you come here, and again, let's go to my default one. Okay. So now, again, over here, what I'm going to do is I'll come here, and from here, let's go to my edit mode. Okay, so I will just click on tab and over here, you guys can see. Now basically I'm here in the edit mode. So after coming over here, what I need to do is I need to come here on top into the overlays option, so you guys can come here and over here, you guys can see. You have the overlays option. From here, and you guys can basically change a lot of things out. Okay, so you guys can come here, maybe change this spot. Otherwise, let's come here into the bench edit mode. Okay, so I will come here. And from here, under normals, I will take this phase normal display. Okay, so I can come here and from here, basically, I will be able to increase the size. Let's go with one. Okay. So if you want to put this one as one, you guys can come here, and you guys will be able to put quite like this. Okay. So if you want to view it from other angles as well, here you guys can see there are a few of these lines. And if I do want to change its position, let's click on. And now let's keep it right over here into this particular axis. Okay? Let's come here. Let's just paste this thing up. And now, let's just move this thing around and let's just try to see how it actually looks. Okay. So now it is basically exactly here in the center, y, So now over here, if you want to change the normal. So in that case, now, again, come here, select the sides. And from here, once I do have selected both of the sides. Okay. What I can do is I can come here, go to my move tool. And from here, if I do want to change it, I can come here and basically, I will be able to change it quite like this. Okay. So now let's come here. And as you guys can see right over here, I can actually work this thing right over here. So you guys can basically change the sides From here. If you guys can come, you guys can just change it right over here. You guys can click on G, and we'll be able to move it around as well. So come here, select those part cooler verticx now you guys can come here, select this one. And from here, if I just select this particular part, and if I don't want to change it, I will be able to change it from here as well. Okay. So now I will paste it over here. Let's just get a view. Okay. And yeah, this one looks better. And again, if I come here and if I want to put different kind of shapes. So in that case, now what I need to do is, I need to just delete this one. I'll just select all this. Let's just delete this one. Let's click on the vertices. Now again, using shift A. I will come here and I will just create a cube again over here in the center. And now, if I come here, let's select this vertex and from here, now, let's just delete this one. I will just come here and from here, I will click on X. And now I will just select the vertices. And over here, you guys can see. Now, this blender basically do have the backside view as well. So over here, you guys can see. Now, over here, also, you guys are able to see inside. Okay? So in most of the games and all, you won't see that they do make this backside model as well. Okay? So if you want to view that part, you guys can come here, go to this drop down menu, and from here, you guys can see the backface culling, so you guys can come here. And now, if you go into your object mode, let's click on tap. And now let's move it out and over here, now you guys can see right now, I only have the front view. And this side, I basically don't have the back view. So over here, I only do have the front view. If you do want to deactivate this one, you guys can come here and basically turn off the back face culling option again. You guys can see now I do have the back face at the front phase as well. Okay, so this was about the bash normals over here. Okay. Now, over here, instead of choosing this particular cube. What I'm going to do is I'm going to select this whole thing out. Let's get x axis view. Okay, so I have just selected this whole thing out. And now I will just delete thing. And over here, I will click on shift and A. And from here, I will select Mesh and from M, what I'm going to do is I am going to take ecosphere. Otherwise, instead of that, what I'll do is I'll come here and click on Shift A, and from here, you guys can also take UV sphere. Okay, so you guys can come here and select this basic thing out. And now, let's go to my edit port. So over here, under the edit pot, as you guys can see, now it's kind looking confusing. But over here, also, we need to know what is the basically mesh normals. So for that to know that if I do want to delete a particular part from here. So for that, what I'll do is I'll come over here on top and from here, now let's go to this particular orientation, and now I will just turn this off. So after turning this off, now I will come here, I will go to this overlays So now from here, I will on the face orientation. So if I on the face orientation, you guys can see this outside part basically will look or it will have a blue color. And inside, they will have a red color. So now let's say from here, I want to basically select. So let's come here. Let's just select this particular part, and let's click on x, and from here, I will just delete the vertices. Okay. So now if you want to see over here, inside you guys can see that I do have a red color, a And now, as you guys have understood how to make this design, if you want to go to your object mode, let's click on Dam again. So let's come here. Let's go to object mode, and over here, you guys can see how it actually looks. Okay. So now let's come here. Let's just delete this thing up as well. Let's come here. Let's just delete this thing. And from here now, I will again click on Shift A, and from here under Mesh, I will come here and I will just select this particular monkey. Okay? So from here, I will come and I will just turn off the face orientation again. And now you guys can see all the shapes which I was taking from under mesh, those were kind of regular. But this one actually do have a lot of curves in on, so I will be able to modify all of this according to the way I want. Okay? So for that, now, the first thing, what I need to do is So now, over here, as you guys can see, these basic irregular puts over here. Okay, so these are basically different kind of irregular puts. And now, if I do want to zoom in, I can basically zoom in from control plus from my keyboard. And now let's try to change the orientation right over here. You guys can see this is how you guys will be able to select this whole thing out. And now, if you want to actually sharpen it, you guys go to object, and from object, you guys can go to the shade smooth. Okay. So this one might not look that great, but you guys will be able to do a lot of things down from here. Okay? So here under the shade smooth option, you guys can actually change the number over here. Okay, if you come here, if you click on auto smooth, you guys can come here and basically change the shaping of this particular icon over here as well. So from here, also, if I basically want to turn it back again to Shade flat. Okay, so over here, you guys can see I do have Shade flat as well. Okay? Now, again, if I right click and if I want to go to Shade Smooth, I can come here, and basically, I will be able to go to the Shade Smooth option. And after that, you guys can also go to your edit mode using just click on tab, And after that, let's try to select faces. And from here, I will basically select all of these faces. Let's come here and select all of these faces. And now I will go to face. And from here, what I'll do is I will just click on Shade Smooth. Okay? Otherwise, let's come here and from here, I will just click on Shade flat. Okay, so you guys will be able to do it right from here as well. Otherwise, if you want to have the phase data and stuff, you guys can also have all of those options, okay? So I will click on Shade Smooth. And now, over here, if I just try to get a look over here, this particular part is actually looking quite smooth. Okay. So now, again, I will just move down the x axis. Let's come here. Let's select all of these faces from here. Okay, so let's come here. Let's select this, select this part out as well. Now let's move the x axis, and I will just come here and take this small parts over here as well. And now, what I'll do is I will go to phase and from phase, I will go to shade smooth. Otherwise, you guys can come here and you guys can go to the edge. And over here, if you want to actually use Mark Sharp, you guys can actually do that. Okay, so come here. Let's move the x axis. You guys can see how smooth this one basically looks. And again, if you just want to go back, you guys can come here and go back, quite like this. Okay. So now, again, if I right click and from here, if I go back to my object mode, I'll click on the tab option. Otherwise, I'll come from here. You guys can see basically, again, I am back over here at the same place. Okay? So this is basically the preview mode. Okay. Now, again, if I just right click and if I want to shade auto smooth, I can come here, and basically, I will be able to choose down the angle from this particular part as well. If I come here, let's say I will place it right over here. Let's click on tab. Otherwise, let's come here to the mode. And from here, let say if I want to select all of these parts over here with shift. Let's come here and over here, let's take this vertex option. And now I will just click on to this vertex option right over here. Let's select this whole part. Come here. Let's place it right over here as well. Come here. Let's select this one. Let's try to select all this thing out. Let's come here. Let's select this part as well. I will come here and I'll just select this whole part over here as well. Now, come here. Let's just choose this, this one right over here. Again, I'll select this one right over here, here. You guys can basically take your time for doing all of this. You guys can come here. And now let's just select this one. And what you can do is now if you just come here into your edit mode, and from here, let's go to the vertex option. And from vertex, what you will do is if you want to smooth vertices, you guys can come here and basically smooth this thing down. And over here, you guys can basically choose how you want to do the smoothing at what angle over here. If you want to increase it, you guys can come here and increase it accordingly. And now you guys can also select the x axis, the y axis, and the z axis accordingly. So over here, you guys can see the changes in this particular side. And over here, also, if you want to select and do that, you guys can come here and basically do it from the other sides as well. Now, if you just click outside and if you want to go to the object mode, this is how it actually looks, okay? So now, we'll see that how you will be able to select if you have put your object in a wrong angle, or if you don't know where your normals is. So we'll be learning about that. So for that, again, I will click on shift and A and from here, basically, I will take a cylinder. So over here, as you guys can see, now, I will just om out a little bit. Let's move the x axis over here. And as I do have this particular cylinder right over here, what I'm going to do is So now, what I'll do is I'll just right click and from here, if I want to basically shade smooth. Over here, you guys can see this doesn't look that great. If you try to see it from all the other angles. So here, this doesn't look that great. Now, what you're going to do is from here, object mode, you will go into your edit mode. Let's come here and let's go to edit mode. And let's say I will select some faces. Let's come here, click on faces. Let's click on Shift for multiple selection. I'll come here, click on shift. And over here, I will select this four part. And now, what I'll do is I will go to the Mesh option. And from Mh option, I will click on normals. And afterwards, if I flip, you guys can see this one looks really horrible. Okay, so this doesn't look that great. And the shading is not that good. Okay? So now, again, what you can do is if you want to go back, you guys can come here, click on Control Z. Okay, so you guys can come here and just click on Control Z. And here you guys can see back again at the same work space. And again, if you want to select different kind of faces, you guys can come here, and you guys will be able to select these faces. So now over here. Again, if I want to give this one up a rotation. So for that again, I'll go to Mish. Let's go to normals. And now let's give this one up a flip. And for that, if I want to deselect the same thing right over here. Again, what I'll do is I will just click on Control A. Otherwise, what I'll do is I'll come here and I will just select everything up. Okay so I can come here and basically, I will be able to select all thing down. And after that, let's just move the vertices over here. And let's say I want to just select one particular part. Come here or I do have selected this one, again, go to mesh, and from mesh, let's go to normals and from here, you can use the recalculate outside option as well. Okay. So now you guys can see again, this one is back at the same place. Okay? So here, also, if you do have few of it right over selected. And now, if you go to the best option. Let's go to normals and from here, if I click on flip. Now again, what I'll do is I will just select all those things up from here. After that, let's come here. Let's just select this thing. Otherwise, what I'll do is I'll come here. And from here, using shift, I will select all of it over here. So I will just select all this thing. And now, again, I will just click on shift, shift from my keyboard. And here you guys can see it had already recalculated the normal. Okay, so if I want to give inside, I can actually go back to the same position as well. So now, make sure that you guys keep on practicing this one. Keep on practicing how you'll be able to change from different modes. If I come here to the object mode, right click, go from shade flat to Shade Smooth. Okay, also about the shade auto smooth. Okay. And also afterwards, you guys come here and you guys can actually work with this object option, like you guys can actually go to the normals option. If you are in edit mode, you guys can come here and from here, go to mesh and from here, go to normals, recalculate inside, outside, if you want to give a flip, you guys can actually give a flip over here as well. So I hope to see you all in the next chapter, where we'll be learning more about mesh normals, and also we'll be learning about different kind of extrude and also the inset and also knife. So take care, everyone. See you all in the next chapter. Okay. 14. Learning the extrude, inset and the knife: Hello, everyone, and welcome you to another chapter of the blender essential tutorial. So now we are on our Chapter number 13. And here, we'll be learning about this modeling options of extrude insect and the knife. So here this are few of the basic Under the edit option from where you will be able to do some modeling of your structure over here. So let's not waste time and let's get started. So over here, as you guys can see, now, I'm here in the work space of the blender. So the first thing we need to do is to edit to understand and look about all that tools like the extrude, the insect, and also about the knife. So first, we have to click on tab to go to our edit mode. And from here, underneath, as you guys can see, I do have different kind of tools. And if I want to view these tools with their names, what I need to do is once I come over in any of this tool, here you guys can see, there is a arrow bar. So what I need to do is I need to come here, and I just need to drag this one to the left. And over here, now you are able to see all the names here as well. So over here, the first one is this extrude region. So over here, if I click on extrude region, and now, Let's just sum in over here into this particular cube. And now, let's say I will come here into this particular vertex. And now, once I click on that vertex, I do have a yellow plus sign. And also over here, I do have a white circle around it. Okay? So let's say if I want to change the vertex, If I want to change its positioning, what I can do is I can come here, click on this yellow option, and now you guys can basically move it. So over here, you guys can see. Now again, I will just come here, select this one, and let's say I will just select this one over here as well. Now, just left click on your mouse and just drag. If you want to drag here in this x axis, you guys will be able to do quite like this. Okay, so over here, you guys can see. Now if I just give this thing up a rotation, here you guys can see these vertices, have their normal angle. Okay? So this is how you guys will be able to work with the extrude option. And now, if you want to come here and let's say from here, now, what I'll do is I will just go back, so I will just delete this thing up. Okay. And after deleting, let's say, if I want to create one underneath. I will come here, and I will just click on this inside part. Okay, come here. Let's select this. And from here, now I will be able to change it or basically change its angle. So come here, control Z. And from here, now you guys can actually make up a part accordingly, using this white option. Come here again. Let's select this particular part. Let's come here, and you guys can basically join this vertex right from here. Okay. So again, control Z to go back. So I'll come here. I'll just click on Control s it again. And now let's just move out the angle. Okay? So let's come here. Let's place it quite right here. And now, the same way, how you guys have selected the vertex, over here, you guys will be able to select two or more path as well. So for that, again, I will just click on shift, and I will select this vertices. So I'll come here and here you guys can see. I do have actually selected both of this angle. And now, if I just extend the region, here you guys can see, now you guys are able to select a region quite like this. And again, the same way, if I come here and if I want to create another one over here, I will select this white space. And again, with this one, I'll come here. Let's just create another one. And now, with this white space, I'll come here. And now with the white space, I want to create one over down as well. Okay. So once you are done, you guys can come here, select this x axis. And from here, basically, you guys will be able to change this thing up. I will just go back again. And now let's click out this white space. So I will come here, go back. And now, Let's take this white space from here. Let's just choose it right over here, and now, just underneath. I will come here and I'll just place it quite like this. Okay. So this is how you guys will be able to use this perdicular bevel and basically create some shapes. And the same way if you want to do it along one axis. You guys can just delete these vertices as well. Let's come here. Let's move down the x axis. And now I will just select this vertices. And now let's delete this one. Let's click on vertices, select this, click on Delete. And over here, so I will click on Delete vertices. And now I don't have any vertices over here at all. You guys can just select this Click on Enter over here. So now, if you want to select a phase, so let's come here and let's just select this top part over here. And now on top, I will come here and I'll just select this phase select mode. And now, what I'll do is I will just select both of this part. And over here, you guys can see I have just selected the whole thing around. So if you want me to actually change the x axis, you guys can come here. And now, if you just click onto this particular option, here you guys can see how you are able to extrude. Okay? And if you just come here, let's say, click on this particular place, here you guys can see how you guys will be able to create a story quite like this. So you guys can come here. Let's just sum out control minus, and afterwards, let's just come here on top. Let's place it accordingly. Let's move the x axis. And here you guys can see the rotation of this perdicular building quite over here. And if you want to make it up a straight line, in that case, again, you need to go back. Then from here, you need to make sure that you click onto this pedicular option. If you want to check it from all the angles, this is how you guys will be able to check it from all the angles. And if you just click on the plus option, you guys can just check and check all of the margins over here, all of these joints. So now over here, let's go back. Let's click on Control minus. And now, let's say here in the extrude region option. If you just hold this one, over here, you also do have this extrude manifold option. Okay? So if I come here, if I select this extradmnd option, and now if I come here and if I try to increase it, here you guys can see you are able to increase it without any geometrical option. Okay. But normally, if I come here, if I do it with the extrude region. So now if I just increase the space, here you guys can see that you do have a geometrical mark. But if I do want to do it without using the geometrical mark, in that case, I will come here and I will just go to extrude manifold. And now let's just select this particular apart. Let's go back. Let's go back. Let's come here. And from here, now you guys can actually increase the size on the top. Okay. So here, this is how you guys will be able to extend it without any geometrical manifold. And after that, let's just zoom out again. And here, I do have another option as extrude along normal. Okay. So now, if you come here and let's say I will just select extrut among normal and over here, if I do want to increase the size or if I want to decrease the size, I will be able to do that from here. Let's go back again. Let's come here back. And now, if you do want to increase the size, you guys can come here, select this and basically increase the size over here. Now, the same way, if you want to come here, let's bring this thing down over here again. You guys can just click here, and this is how you guys can just bring this thing down quite like this. Okay. So this was about extreme along normal. And afterwards here, if you want to extreme individually, let's say I will just select this one. Okay. So let's come here. Let's just select this face. And now, I want to just select this particular part. And if I want to extrude, let's go extrude individual. And now here you guys can see how the vertices is being actually explored. So come here, basically select this particular part again. And now over here, if you actually want to change this, come here and basically change the extrude option. If you want to take it inside a little bit, you guys can come here and basically take it inside. So over here, you guys can actually get a better view. Okay. So from here, if you want to do two or more parts. So in that case, let's come over here. Let's select both of this. And now, if you just click here, come here. Let's click on this option. Let's select this. Using shift, I will select this part as well. And now let's just move it along. So I will come here and now over here, I am able to move it along. So this is how you guys can basically move it along, and this is how it will basically work. Okay, so here you guys can see I am making this particular model using this extrude individual option. And the last option, which I do have over here is let's say I'll just select this particular part. And now from here, I will just click on troot to cursor. Let's say if I want to extrude it all along right over here. You guys can see I will be able to extrude it quite like this. Sometimes it might be quite confusing for you all, if you're using it for the first time. Okay, so come here, go back. Again, click on troot to cursor, and now I will go to extrude region. Okay. So individually, if you want to create a part in any sign, you guys can come here and let's say if I want to go only through the z axis, I can come here and I can just increase it towards the z axis. Let's come here, and if you do want to decrease the size accordingly. Let's come here, click on this particular option. Let's go back. Okay, let's come here. And from here now instead of this x ray mode, what I'm going to do is I am going to come here, and I am going to turn this basically off. Okay, so come here and from here. Now, if you want to select this whole part, So now over here, let's just move this vertices over here. And now let's select both of these vertices. Let's click on shift. Let's select both of this. And now, what you're going to do is you are going to extrude the region. But let's come here and let's go with extrude along normal. Okay? So if you come right over here, let's just go to this trade along this verticle apart. And now I will first turn this off. And now, if I just increase the size, Okay, you guys can see how it actually looks. Otherwise, if you come here, let's say if you just select this particular part or let's come here, click on shift and this part over here again. And now, if you want to extrude this articular part, you guys can come here and b click on this particular thing around. Using X now you guys can basically see how it actually looks. Again, if you just go back, if you want to create it in a different way, go to this psite even. And now from here, you guys can see this is how you guys will be able to create using this extreme along normal option. Okay, so the normal angle over here is basically the same. And if you want to come here and let's say if you do want to change it, so control bin us to zoom out. Let's come here. Let's just select this part and from here, let's select this and you guys can basically move it along. So you guys can come here and move it along over here as well. Now, let's go back. Okay, so let's come back over here. Let's move the x axis. And what you're going to do now is if you come over here and underneath only, you do have another option called as the inset faces. Okay? So again, if I just turn off the opposite event, let's come here and let's select this inset faces. Okay? So now over here, let's say, if I just select this perdiclepart. Let's come here. Let's select the faces. Let's come here. Let's select the faces. And now, if you just move this along. Okay. Inside the white angle here, you guys can see you are able to make a part quite like this. The same way if you come here, if you just drag, once you're over here, what you can do is just drag on this particular white part, and this is how you guys can actually make some spaces. So now just keep it quite like this over here. And now, if you zoom in, this is how the opposite actually works. So, you guys might be thinking you guys will be able to do this particular thing using the extrude as well. But here, what will happen is it will not create some extra spaces, okay? So it will just give the cut over here. So if you want to see the same option over here again, let's come here, let's just move it in a different pat. Okay, so you guys can come here and you guys can basically move it along all this path over here. So come here, let's just move it along. So this is how it's going to look. Let's click on X, and here you guys can see now you do have a particular design. So this was about inset phases, okay? Okay And from here, what you can do is you guys can come here and instead of offset event, let's say I will just click on individual. And now I will select this and let's just decrease the size. And this is how you guys will be able to decrease the size from here. And now, if you click on outset, you guys can come here. And now, let's say you guys can just decrease the size, and you guys can actually use this one, as the outset over here. Okay, so once you have selected this one as the outset, if you want to go to extrude option, you guys can come here and you guys will be able to excrude this thing quite like this. So now let's move this x axis, and this is how it basically looks. If you want to make other models, you guys can come here and do that. This was about this extrude and the incent option. Now, let's come to this knife option. And from the knife option, let's say if I want to give this one upper cut. I will come here and over here, you guys can see, I do have a green icon. So I can come here and here I will be able to give this one up a icon. And once I'm done, I can just click on Enter and here you guys can see. Now this particular part is basically Selected, and here you do have give a cut using the knife. So the same way, you guys can come here and let's say if you want to create a circle or a triangle quite like this, come here. And now if you click on Enter, here, you guys can see you do have the triangle over here as well. Now if you come here, let's click on Alt, and using Alt. What you can do is let's go back again. And now, if I click on Alt and if I just click this particular part, and now if I just place it right over here, and here again. And if I just click on Enter, this is how it will basically give this one up a cut. Okay. So once I'm done, I can just click on Escape. Okay. Otherwise, maybe I will be able to select some other parts over here as well. Okay. So now if you want to select the Bevel option, you guys can come here and do the Bavel option from here as well, about which we'll be learning in our next classes. So now let's just deselect this particular part. And here is the model which I had just made. Okay. And now there is another option under this knife option, which is the bisect. Okay so you guys can come here, select the bisect option, and let's say I don't want this perdicle apart. Okay, so I will come here, select this thing. And now, if I come here and before selecting the bisect option, what I need to do is I need to go to the select box and just select this whole thing out, go to bisect option. And from here, if I want to bisect this perdicle apart, so here you guys can see. You do have this perdicula option. You come here and you guys can just clear the inner option. You guys can. The outside option over here, so you guys can come here and you guys can actually select the field option as well. Okay. So this is how you guys will be able to do the bisect. And now you guys can come down over here, and you guys can basically check the normal, the plain point and also the axis threshold. So you guys can come here and this is how you guys will be able to use it quite over here. Okay. So if you don't want to see the inner side, you guys can come here. Now, you will be able to see this inner side. And now, If you want to have this one a feel, you guys can come here and click onto the field. So only you do have this bisection over here. And if you want a clear outside, if you just move on, here you guys can see. You guys do have a clear outside over here as well. But now, if you want the clear inner and clear outer. This is how you will be able to view. If I turn this back off again, if I turn this back off again. Now, if I just click on feel. And now, if I just click on clear Outer, this is how it will look and over here with this field at clear inner, this is how it will look. And if I just turn off my field, so let's just turn off the field. And here, as you guys can see, now I am not able to see the field right over here, okay? So now over here, this is how you will be able to work. Now let's come back over here again. Let's go to my object mode. Okay, so let's come here. Let's go to the object mode. Let's just move it around the y axis. So yeah, this one basically looks good. I hope you guys have understood this class on how you will be able to make this kind of model using the trot and also using the inset and lastly, the knife and the bict tool. So yeah, I hope to see you all in the next chapter till then, take care and goodbye, everyone. 15. Bevel and edge loops: Hello, everyone, and welcome to another chapter of the Blender Essential Tutorial So now we are on our Chapter number 14. And here, we'll be learning about the Bavial and the age loops. Okay? So we'll be learning how you will be able to add up a Baval and also we'll be learning about different tools over here. So let's not waste time, and let's get started. So over here, as you guys can see, now, I'm here in the work space of the blender. So the first thing, what I need to do is from the object mode, I need to go here into the edit mode using tab key from my keyboard, okay? So if I come here, let's say let's select this one, let's go to Edit mode. And now, as I am over here into my edit mode, let's come here and let's select the option. Before that, I will just drag this down that I will be able to see all the name of the tool, which are here on the left hand side, So over here, we'll be learning about the Bavel, the loop cut, and also about the age slide tool, okay? So the first thing, we'll be learning what does a Bavel to do? Okay? So for that, let's say I want to come here and from here, I will select the age selection. Okay? So I will come here, let's select this particular age. And now, if I want to actually put on some Bavel, if I want to put on any kind of plane layer over here, which will be there in a 45 degree angle. Now I will select the Bavel option. And now over here, you guys can see, there is a yellow mark. So what I can do is I can come here. Let's select this one. Let's click on this white part, and over here, you guys can see. Basically it will give you up a plate. Okay? So I will just turn this around and over here, you guys can see, it from different agle as well. If you want to see it from a y axis, if you want to see it from x axis, or if you want to see it from the z axis. Let's come here. Let's go to the y axis again, itself. Let's come here. And now let's just move this one up a little bit. Okay. So just come over here and here you guys can see there is basically a 45 degree cut, okay? So now the next thing is, if you want to use or if you want to put on different kind of segments over here, you guys will be able to do that from here itself. Okay. So now let's come right over here, and now let's just go back. So I'll come back right over here. And using the left key of my mouse, I will come here, select this particular edge and select this one. And what I can do is I can just keep my mouse and there is a roll down option in the mouse, then I will just roll it up, and here you guys can see. I do have a number of segments over here. Okay? And I can also decrease the number of segments. Let's control plus, let's go back again. And now, if I just click onto this option, and if I just roll it down over here, you guys can see. Now I do have a lot of segments over here. And now if you want to come over here, let's go back. Okay, so I'll come over here back again. And now, if you want to put some exact number of segments from here on top, you guys can come and let's say I want to put 25 over here or 25 segments. I will just click on Enter here into the 25 segments. Now, I will just move this one up and over here, you guys can see, now I do have a total of 25 segments into this particular aval joint. Again, if I just go back, let's say let's come here back again. And now, If instead of only the ages, I want to basically work with the vertices. So I will come here and now I will select the vertices option. And what I'm going to do is I am going to come here, change it on top over here as well. Let's come here. Let's select this particular vertices. Let's click on shift. So I have selected both of this part over here. Now, if I basically move this one up, let's come here and if I want to give this one up our rotation over here, you guys can see how it actually looks. Okay. So over here, you guys can see now this is how it actually looks. And over here, if I do want to decrease the segment to one again, I will click on one over here. Let's go back. Otherwise, let's select this part. And now, once I move this one, here, you guys can see, I will just go back again. And here, if I want to change the sharpness of both of this angle using shift, I will select both of these vertices. And now I will just move this thing around and over here, you guys can see the cut is quite sharp. So here you guys can see the cut over here is basically quite sharp. And what you can do from here is, again, if you go to this particular option here under the segments, you guys can come here and basically add up two segments, and more. So here you guys can see how this basic segments over here looks like, and now again, go back. And I will just go back over here again. And now, here, let's say if I want to put on some Bavel, let's take this Bavel mode, and now I want to select a whole phase. Okay. So over here, I will select the vertices itself. And now I will just click on shift, and I will select all this one around, okay? And now, if I just click over here, you guys can see how it basically looks. So from here, if I do want to decrease the segment, I can come here, and basically, I will be able to decrease the segment from here. So now let's go back. And now, what you can do is just drag this one at here, you guys can see how it actually looks. Okay? And if you want to work, more over here. You guys can come here into the shape option, and basically you guys can actually decrease the shape option from here as well. And the same way, again, if you just go to the ages option, let's go back. And from here now, I have selected the ages option, and this is how it will actually look if you use the Bavel option right over here. Okay. So as you guys can see, this is how you guys can actually make some how shapes. So over here on top, you guys can actually make this shape around using the bevel to, And now, let's come over here. Let's go down. And now let's select this face option. Let's select this one. And now let's click on this Pavel option. And what I want to do over here is I want to work with the bevel here in detail. So come here on top and instead of edges if you want to select vertices, you guys can come here and select vertices. And now you guys can actually change the width of this particular fig right over here. Also, you guys can actually select that how many segments you want it to be. Okay? So if you do want to have more than one segment, you guys can come here and use this particular part. And if you want to change the shape from concave to convex and stuff, you guys can come here and basically do that from here as well. So you guys can actually check the shape over here. And lastly, if you want to customize your shape, let's just move this x axis right over here. And now, let's say you want to customize this particular shape right over here. So in that case, let's come here. Let's select this thing up. Now, if you just move this one over here, this is how you guys will be able to move it around. And after that, if you want to customize this particular shape, just go back and click on the last option, and over here, you guys will be able to choose the shape accordingly. So you guys will be able to understand exactly right over here. So for that, if I select this one, let's come here. Let's get this one, this particular shape. Now let's go to custom. And from the custom option, you guys can see now you guys can actually give on different kind of shapes. So come here, if you want to move this thing around. If you want to add any shape, you guys can come here, and you guys can basically customize the shapes here all along. Okay? And if you want to keep the same settings, you guys can basically keep the same settings itself. And if you want to change it, you guys can come here and basically change it over here as well. So just go back. Right over here, go to the Bavel option. And now from here, if you just close this thing down, and if you want to reset the view, you guys can come here and reset the view as well. If you want to see this one in the vertices, you guys can come here, and you guys will be able to see it in the vertices as well. Now again, I will go back here in my super ellipse, and now here you guys can see this is how it basically works. Now if you want to just view it from all the other angles, this is how it basically looks, so you guys can basically create some different kind of model using the Bavel two. Now, let's come here and let's delete this whole thing up. Let's come here. Let's go to the object mode. And from here, I will just click on Delete. Now again, I will click on Shift A, and I will just add up a cube right over here. Now from here, let's come to this option. And again, let's go to the edit mode. I am over here into my edit mode. Let's say I just want to change only one vertices. I will come here and from here, I will just select the vertices and my al tool is already selected. So what I can do is I can come here and if I do want to change it, I will be able to change it from here. But instead of ages, what I need to put is, I need to put on the vertices option on, and now I can actually increase the width from here as well. Okay, so if I want to give the width, I can come here and give the width from here, and under shape, I can actually work down with the shape as well. And if I do want more segments, I can come here and I can basically have a lot of segments quite like this. And here you guys can see here I do have the material index. I can actually work on with the material index from this particular corner also. Okay? So, this was all about how you will be able to change one particular angle. In total. So if you come here, if you just increase it, you guys will be able to do it from here. Let's just decrease the shape. If you want to move it around, and if you want to see this, you guys can come here, just select this particular stuff up. Okay. So just make sure you select this one. Go to the vertices option. And now, if you just move this all along, it will be moved quite properly. Okay. So this was about the Babal joint, which you guys will be able to use to make different kind of shapes. Now again, I will just select all of this and I will just delete all the vertices. Let's select this one as well, click Odd vertices. All this particular extra part, I will just delete this one. Again, I will just click on Shift A and over here, I will create a Q. And now, if I do want to increase the size over here. So I will just click on G, or I will just click on S. Now if I want to move this one through the y axis, I'll click on y. And here you guys can see I am able to increase its size from the y axis. So if I just move this all along right over here, I will be able to do that. Otherwise, let's come here and let's decrease the scaling from the x axis as well. So I will come here, I will decrease it from the x axis. I can come here. Otherwise, let's increase the size from the x axis. And now I'll click on, and I'll click on y to decrease its size from the y axis. So come here and you guys can actually decrease the size from the y axis itself. So come here and maybe place this particular thing right over here. And also, let's go to the select box. Let's go to the object mode. And now over here, if you want to move, towards the Z axis, go on to G. And now, click on Z, and now here you guys can just move it over here on top a little bit. You guys can come here and maybe move this thing here on top. Now just choose up the angle. And if you want to bring this thing down as well, click on G, and after that, click on Z, and here you guys can bring this thing down as well. So now you guys can just check it from all the basic sits, and now I'll be showing you guys about different options. Now, let's click on tab to go to my edit board. And over here, if I select the Bavel, and now let's come here. Let's select the face select option, and I will just select the top part. And if I just move this one up here you guys can see that one looks quite weird. Okay? So over here, this one looks basically quite weird. If I do want to work over here. Okay. So now, for that, what I need to do is I need to come here to my object option and basically play around with all the options, okay? So now, the same way if I come here, let's say, if I go to my object mode, let's click on object mode right over here. And now from here, I will go to the object. And now from here, I will go to apply. And the shortcut key for that is Control A from your keyboard. And now I will just click onto the scale option. So now I will just click here onto the scale option. And again, I will go here into the edit mode using the tap key from my keyboard. And once I've selected the Baval option. And now, if I just do the Bavel thing here, you guys can basically see how it actually looks. Over here, you guys can see. Now, if I just come here and let's just go back, come here. Let's move the x axis. From here, let's go to the object mode. From the object mode, let's go to object, go to apply and click on scale. Now, click on tap to go to the edit mode. And now, click here and just try to bevel this thing up. Okay. So over here, this is how it will basically look. And if you want to work with anything else here in the width type, you guys can come here and basically work with the width type from here itself. Okay? Otherwise, instead of pset, if you select the depth option, you guys can come here and basically move this thing all around. If you want to bring it down, you guys can basically bring it down. And now you guys can basically view, How this particular shape actually looks. Okay? So you guys will be able to use this particular thing quite like this. This is kind of like a horn right over here. And now let's just place it up quite here in the center. And again, I will come here, select the bavll too. And if you want to apply the bavill, you guys can basically come here and apply the bavill from all of the sides here as well. Now, using X, let's just view it up from all the other angle. And here you guys can see you do have some shading. So that means that we have to understand that here I do have actually selected two or more objects at the same part, which doesn't go on great. There will be a problem when I try to color all this thing down. Okay, here I do have one shape. So now if you want to move it, let's click and let's first go to by object mode. Let's click on tab again. Otherwise, let's go object mode. Let's click on G, and let's move this towards the y axis. Let's place it right over here. Let's move the X vertices over here. And now, basically, we'll be learning here in the edit board itself. But here we'll learn about the loop cut out option. Okay? So again, for that, I will come here. I will click on Shift A to create a Q. And now let's click on S. And if I do want to decrease the size, I can decrease the size. And after that, I will come here and I will just click on G. Okay, come here. Let's place it over here in the center. Let's click on S. But here, I do want to actually scale it down from the y axis. So I will come here. I will click on y. And over here, I will select this axis. And now, again, I will click on X or let's click on S. And after that, I will just click on X, and this is how you guys can actually make this thing up. And after that, let's click on G, and now I'll click on Z to move it up all alone over here. So I will just move this thing up right over here. So now over here, again, I will just put out the angle quite like this. And now let's just sum out using control minus over here, now, let's come to this loop cut option. And now here you will be able to create some edge loops. So once you hover your mouse over to this particular place, you guys can see there are horizontal imaginary lines and also vertical imaginary lines. So if you want to divide this one, if you want to add any edge loops, you guys can come here and select. Now if I click on X, here you guys can see using a yellow line, there is basically a cut here in the center. Okay? So now, again, if you want to put those things vertically, you guys can come here and over here, you guys can basically add those vertical lines as well. So you guys can basically add more, how much ever you want. And now if you come here, let's go to this option. Let's come here and if you want to add more, you guys can come here and add more over here. And now, if you want to actually select any other part which you just want to drag. You guys can click on Alt. Otherwise, you guys can basically click on Control, and you guys can actually move this thing around. So you guys just need to select one particular part. Okay? So let's say I want to select this particular option. And now you guys can actually move this thing around. Okay. So the same way if you come here, if you just click on control, and this is how you guys will be able to move the He loop all around. Okay? So this is how you guys will be able to create your things around. Let's move the x axis. And now, let's say if I do have a different kind of rotation over here. Okay, so let's come here. Let's select this whole thing up. Let's click on to go to the object mode. And from the object mode, let's just click on G. And now over here, what I'll do is I'll select this thing up. Now I'll just select this particular cube and from this particular cube. What I'm going to do is if I want to give this thing up a weird shape. So for that, I will come here. Let's just move this thing all around. Now, let's come to this particular option. And if you want to give this thing up a rotation, you guys will be able to give this thing up a rotation as well. Okay. So here as you guys can see, both of these things are basically selected. So if you just double click over here into the cube option, here you guys can see. Now, I do have the cube option right over here. And if you want to create up a new collection, you guys can click on Shift A, and let's go with a cube, and let's come here and let's just move both of this thing up here in one corner. Let's click on G. And now, let's just move it up right over here. Let's select this one control plus to zoom in, Okay? And I will again go back to my edit mode. And from here, if I want to add here vertical and also here in sites, I will be able to do that. And now let's come here and let's select this whole thing up. If you want to select any part individually, you guys will be able to select different parts individually over here as well. Okay. So now let's click here and let's go to this pericula edit mode. And now, let's come here. Let's go back and using the hand tool, you guys can basically move this thing around. Okay. So now I will come here. Let's select this one, and from here, let's go to the edge slide option. Okay, so now over here, if you want to slide down your edges, you guys will be able to do that from here. And if you want to move it up, quite over here in the exact center of both of this He loop. You guys will be able to do that. So now if you just click on Alt or if you just click on Control, you guys can actually work right over here again. And again, now, if I just click on this particular option, let's click on Alt and you guys will be able to move this thing, all along. Okay? So if you just want to delete this particular vertices, you guys can come here and basically delete the particular vertices, and you guys can actually make shapes accordingly. Okay? So I hope you guys have understood this class on how you will be able to work on with the babel and also the loop cut, and also lastly the He slide tool. So hope to see you all in the next chapter, where we'll be learning more about the blender. Take care, everyone. See you all in the next chapter. Okay. 16. Learning to subdivide, fill and merge: Hello, everyone, and welcome you all to another chapter of Blender Essential Tutorial. So now we are on our Chapter number 15, where we'll be learning to subdivide, feel and merge your object in blender. So we'll be learning about all of that in detail here in this particular chapter. So let's not waste time, and let's get started. So over here, as you guys can see, now, I'm here in the home page or the work spiece of the blender. So the first thing what I need to do is come here, select your cube and click on TAM to go into the edit mode. And after that, what you're going to do is now over here, once you have selected all of these ages, you guys can go to the He option, and from the He option, you guys can click on sub divide. Okay. So once you have clicked on the subdivide option, if I just move it around, here you guys can see this particular cube got subdivided in different parts. So over here, they do have different kind of phases. And now, if you want me to deselect and if you want me to zoom in, over here, you guys can see how it actually looks. Okay? So each phases subdivided into four parts right over here. So this is one way of how you will be able to subdivide. And now let's come here into this particular option. And from here, let's select this vertices option over here on top. Now, if I try to select only one vertices, and now if I want to subdivide, I won't be able to do that. Okay? So if I click on age, if I go to subdivide, here you guys won't see that there is any kind of changes. But the same way, What if I come here and if I click on shift, and I just select both of these parts. And now, again, I will go to edge and from edge. Now I will come here and I will just click on subdivide. So if I just zoop in over here, here you guys can see, now I do have another vertices just in between of both of these edges. Okay? Now again, I will come here and now I will take the H select option. Now using shift, let's select this one. First, let's come here, select this one, and now I will select both of these. Again, go to the He option. And from the He option, you guys can subdivide. Otherwise, you guys can just right click and after right clicking, there is the option of subdivide over here on top. And this is how you guys will be able to subdivide both of these parts. So only this phase have basically changed. Okay? If you want to move it to the y axis, you guys can come here and move it around and check all these things out. Okay? So this is about that. And now, if you want to come over here, let's move it to the x axis. And from here, now, what I'm going to do is I am going to select this whole thing out. Okay? So for that, again, I will just click on control. And after clicking on Control, I will try to select the phase option. Now let's click on Alt that over here, I do have selected the whole thing out. And here, as you guys can see, if I just select this whole thing out. Let's come here. Let's just select this whole thing up, all of these three phases. And if I do want to subdivide, I can come here, I can just right click and basically, I can subdivide this particular part from here. And if I want to subdivide eight More. Okay, I can come here, go to this particular redo option. And from here, I can actually select the number of cuts I want over here, and also what is going to be the smoothness between the cut. I can actually select all of that. Okay? And here if you want to move it along the normal or if you want to give this one up a random speed, you guys can come here. And over here, you guys can actually select the roughness of the selected part as well. Okay. So now I do have decrease the roughness. Over here, you guys can also call this as the fractal. And here you guys can see, there is also another option known as the quart corner type. Okay. So in that case, instead of choosing the straight cut, if I go to the path option, and now if I just move this thing along, here you guys can see, now it will just distort it in such a way. And again, I can have the smoothness over here as well. Okay, so if you want me to increase or decrease it, And if you want me to decrease the number of cuts, I can actually select the number of cuts over here. Okay. So if you want to subdivide only this part, you guys can come here and basically subdivide here in different parts as well. Okay? And individually, after that, if you want to work with anything, let's say I want to actually work with extrude to cursor. So I can come here. Let's just extrude this one. And now I can actually select different shapes or make different kind of shapes. Again, let's go back, And now, now already, I am here in my this particular extra tool. But here, if you want to select the extra precursor option from the select box itself, you guys can come here and click on Control, and now it will just work out the same way. So if you come here and let's say if you Just click on Control. You guys will be able to extrude that particular thing. Let's come here. Let's click on Control. And now you will be able to do it right over here. So for that, again, if you want to select the selection mode, come here. Let's just select the phase option. Let's come here and let's go to the extrude to cursor. And this is how it will basically extrude to the cursor as well. Okay. So this was about the subdivide option. Now I will just come here and let's say I will just click on extra gon, and now let's select all of it. And now I will just delete all the vertices all around. So I will come here and now let's click on delete, and I'll just delete the vertices. And now, over here, we'll be learning about feel option. So if you want to learn about the feel option over here, we will be able to learn over here in detail. So for that now, I will go here into the Z axis. And now, if you want to create any shape, okay customized shape, you guys will be able to create sub customized shapes over here as well. So for that, what I need to do is once I'm over here in the top orthographic view, So now over here to create a triangle. Let's add different kind of vertices. So over here, what I'll do is I'll come here and I will just click on Control and I'll just right click on my mouse. And over here, you guys can see I do have this particular vertices. So now I'll just select this thing up and I will just click on one. And after that, again, I will just click on Control. I'll come here on top. And now I will just click over here on my mouse. The same way, I will come here and now I will just click on Control and right click on my mouse. So over here, you guys can see. Now these vertices are actually over here together. So now if I want to work on with the GS and stuff. So for that, now, again, what I'll do is I'll just select all of this thing and let's go to vertices. And from here, you guys can select the phase from vertices option. Okay? So this is how you guys will be able to create a phase from vertices. So this is the shortcut key is a from our keyboard, which you guys will be using, a lot over here. So now let's come here. Let's view it in a y axis. Okay? So now over here, what you're going to do is if you want to work on with the field. So in that case, again, what I'll do is I will come here, and I will just select this vertical points. Okay, so I will come here. I will select this point, click on two extrude. And now I will select this one. And from here, I will select this part. Okay. So once I'm done excruding from here on top, I'll come here. I will take this vertex and over here as well, I will come and I will extrude. Come here and let's place it right over here. If you do want to go back and now just place it right over here. Now again, what I'll do is I will come here and I will just select both of these vertex. And now, what I'll do is I will again move this thing up. So come here and maybe move this thing up. Let's move this thing over somewhere here. And again, I will just come to this particular side. And over here now, what I'll do is I'll just come to this particular option. And now, if I do want to feel this whole thing up, What I can do is I can just select both of this using shift, and I can just click on F. And if I click I I keep on clicking F, here you guys can see, it will just move or feel accordingly. And if I do want to do it altogether, I will come here. Let me just select all this extruded option. Okay, so I can come right over here, otherwise, select this whole thing up. And now, click on F. Come here. Let's select this part, and let's click on F and all this part, we'll get selected. Again, I will just come here, let's go back. And I will just select this vertex and this vertex over here. Click keep on clicking F. And now here you guys can see. Now I do have the four segments over here. Again, I will click on three or otherwise, let's go down. Let's just view it from a different angle. Let's come here. Let's just move this thing up. Let's move the x axis as well. So come here. And if you want to view it in different mode, you guys can come here and you guys will be able to view it in different mode. So come here. Let's click on This option, let's move on the x axis. Okay? So this part is basically done. I will just select all of it, and I will just click on delete. So I will just delete this vertices as well. Let's click on Enter. And again, what I'll do is I will create another cube. Okay. So come here, and now what you guys can do is click on shift at A. To create a mesh, and afterwards, I will select a cube right over here. Okay. So as I am already here in my edit mode. Now if I do want to edit this, or if I do want to fill it. What I'll do is I'll come here on top. Now, let me just manage this angle. I will click on this particular phase, and now I'll click on Delete. And now I will cancel and I will just come here. Let's click on Delete. And now I will come here, and I just want to delete this phase. Okay, so I will come here and now I will just delete this particular phase. Okay? So now, once I have deleted that particular phase, you guys can see right over here, this one is basically selected. Okay? So now from here, what I need to do is I need to come here in the modifiers option, and from the modifiers option, now, let's come here, select this particular thing up. And now, if you want to add a modifier, you guys will be able to add up a modifier from here itself. Okay, so let's come here. And now, if you do want to go back, you guys can come here, and you guys can basically go back again. Let's just select only this top part. Let's click on Delete. And now I will just delete the faces over here. And from the add modifier option. What I'll do is I'll click on add modifier, and I will go to the generate option from here. And from here, I will select the solidify. Okay. So once you select the solidify option over here, you guys can see you do have a solidify panel right over here. Basically, what you will be able to do is if you just increase the thickness, you will be able to fill this particular thing up. Over here, if I just increase the thickness. Let's come here and let's just increase the thickness. And this is how you guys will be able to fill this thing up. So this is one way of how you will be able to fill up your thing. And this also goes with other parts of the angle as well. Okay? So I will click on tab again. Otherwise, let's go to object mode click on G. And now let's just move it up right over here. And again, I will just click on Shift A. Let's go to Mesh. And from Mesh, I will come here and I will select a cylinder. Okay. And now, over here, once you have selected this particular cylinder, let's go to the edit mode from the tab. And now let's select this face, click on delete and now select the face option. Let's move the x axis to see the hollwnes the same way now, again, what you'll do is once you have selected this part, go to add modifier, go to generate and from there, go to solidify and now increase the thickness, and you will be able to fill this up as well. Okay this is how you will be able to work on with the fill option. Now, let's just move this up as well. Let's go to the object mode. Let's click on G. And now let's move it up over here as well. Now, let's just um out using control minus. Let's come here and let's go control minus. Click this particular thing up, click on G, move it here in one corner. Select this, click on G and move it here in one corner. And now over here, I am going to add two other icons. Okay, so let's come here. Let's manage the x axis. And now over here, I am going to add two more shapes where I'll be showing you guys basically about how you will be able to merge. So now, over here, what I'll do is click on Shift A, and from there, I will go and I will select one UV spear. I can come here and I can basically select a U V spear. Otherwise, instead of U V spear, you guys can also use a cube itself. So let me show you guys in a cube itself. And once you are here, once you have created this one, now, what you're going to do is you are going to go and click on a modifier. And from a modifier, you guys go to the generate option and from generate, go to the subdivision surface. Okay. So I will click on this subdivision surface over here. And here, as you guys can see, now I do have this cardicular shape right over here. And what you can do is you guys can come here and you guys can actually manipulate the levels viewpoint. Okay, so you guys can come here. If you want to give more, you guys can come here and give this one a bit more over here. And once you are done with this particular thing, let's click on Control A to apply. Okay? So once I have applied this particular thing right over here, now I will click on the right hand side of my mouse, and from here, I will click on duplicate object. And now I just want to move this one towards the y axis. I will come here and maybe I will just move this thing quite like this. So now let's select both of this and now click on Control J to join both of these things out. Now here, I do have basically joined both of this right over here. And now once both of these are basically selected, let's go to the modifier option. And from here, let's come down to the deform option. Otherwise, let's check here in the generate option. And from here, we will go into this remise option. So I will come here in the rebase option, and from here, I will just on the viewpoint shading. So I can come here and from here, basically, I will be able to change it quite like this. I'll be able to change it proper over here if you want to give some sharp, if you want to make it smooth. You guys can come here and make it smooth quite over here as well. Okay? And here, once you're done with this part as well, go and click here in this particular item on the site. Click on Apply or just click on Control A from your keyboard. So I'll click over here. And now, again, I will come here into this basic viewboard. And now, if I would love to move it, I can basically move it out right from here, and I do have basically merge this thing all around. Okay. So over here, you guys can see how you will be able to merge your thing out. You guys can basically merge things according to yourself. So, yeah, I hope you guys have understood. So here we do have learned about subdivision. We do have learned about merging and also about the field. So yeah, I hope to see you all in the next chapter. Where we'll be learning more about blender. So see you all in the next chapter till then, take care and goodbye, everyone. Okay. 17. Changing the colour of an object: Hello, everyone, and welcome you to another chapter of Blender tutorial. So now we are on our Chapter number 16. And here, I'll be showing you guys by changing the color of an object in blender. Okay? So I'll be showing you guys how you will be able to select the color zone. What are the different type of colors? Okay, and different ways to actually see that and also apply those colors over here. So let's not waste time, and let's get started. So over here, as you guys can see, now I'm here in the and now over here, you guys can see basically all of these objects. And now I will select this particular cube, which I do have by default over here. And from here now, if you do want to change the color of this particular cube from here, what you need to do is here, you guys can see a lot of options. So in that case, now come here and select the material properties. So once you click on the material properties over here onto the left hand side, under the surface option. Here you guys can see an option called the base color. Okay? So you guys can just click right over here, and in coloring, you do basically have three more. Okay? So the first one is hex over here, and also here you do have an eye dropper tool. Okay? Suppose you do have one particular color in one object beside. You guys can use that eye dropper tool to actually get that particular color from there and drop it in your selected. Object as well. Okay? So this is about x, and if you do have any kind of color code which you have already created, like you do have a color palette which you want to use, you guys can just copy that particular number, and you guys can use that. Okay, so you guys can come here and put on the code right over here. And now, afterwards, you do have the HSV. Okay? So the full form of this HSP is huge saturation, value over here. Okay? So now, again, if you come right over here, if you want to increase the hue, here you guys can see, you guys will be able to change the hue and the saturation value over here. And now, if you want to basically move this one, and here you guys can see, there is a small dot over here in my color palette, and I am trying to move this thing up and trying to give this one up the color. Okay? So, the more I take this towards the outer side, here you guys can see. Now, the saturation over here is one. But if I try to get this here in the exact center, Okay, so let's come here. Let's just select this. Okay, let's come here. And here, once I'm over here in the center, the satural will decrease a lot. Okay, so you guys can come here, maybe select the saturation over here. If you want to change the hue, you guys can change the hue as well. And if you want to change up the value, you guys can come here and change the alpha as well. Okay. So after that, here, you do have the metallic option as well. Like if you want to make it kind of metallic, You guys can come here, and you guys can just increase the number as well. And also here you do have the Alpha option. And here also, you do have the normal option. But now, let's come here again to the surface option. Let's click over this. Let's come here to the RGB. And now over here, also, you guys can see I do have this particular default color palette over here. And if I want to manipulate, I can come here and I can just change the color accordingly. Okay? Now, if I do want to increase the red, I can increase the red, and if I want to increase the blue, I can basically increase the blue quite like this. Okay. So once you're done with this particular part, now, From here, you guys can come and now you are not able to see that particular color is being applied. All because right over here on top, now, this one is in the solid view. So here are viewpoint like shading viewpoints. So this one will be by default, which is over here. Now, if you want to see the colors, you guys can come here, otherwise, click this particular icon or this icon right over here. So this is basically the random view, and over here, also, you guys are able to see the color. You guys can move this thing up, and if you want to change the shading, I've showed you guys how you will be able to change the shading. And now, if you want to increase the metallic version, you guys can come here and make it kind of dip using the metallic option. Okay, so you guys can come here. And if you do want to add some roughness, you guys can come here and basically add some roughness over here as work. Okay. So this is how you guys will be able to use this one. Let's select it and let's delete. And again, let's click on Shift A. And now from Mesh, let's create cospere. Okay. So over here, I do have created a ecosphere. And the same way, what I'm going to do is I'm going to come right over here in the material properties, and now I am not able to see that from where I will actually change the color. Because in this one, here in the property spanal I don't have the same options. So for that, we don't have to worry. What we need to do is we need to first click here on the new option. And after that, here you guys can see that is already being added. Okay. So now you guys can come here the same way to the base color option. And now let's take a green color quite like this. And now let's come here and let's increase the metallic option. And over here, now, let's increase the roughness over here as well. Okay. So now, this is how it actually looks. You guys can see it here on my screen. Okay? So over here, I hope you guys have understood this particular class on how you will be able to add color to your object. Okay? So now from here, if you want to see it in a camera view, over here, you guys can actually click on this particular toggle option, and you guys will be able to view your object here in this camera. Okay, if you do want to add more than one camera, you guys will also be able to do that, which I had already showed you in the last class. And now, let me also show you that how you will be able to save your working file. So for that, what you need to do is come here to the file option, and from file, you guys can go to save as, and afterwards, page will appear like this. And now from here, you guys can basically change its name. Okay? So let me name this one as color, okay? And from here, I will click on to the save as option, and it will be saved over here in my system. So afterwards, if I want to work on this same file, I can basically work on the same file itself. So yeah, I hope to see you all in the next chapter where we'll be learning about camera and rendering. So take care of everyone, hope to see you all in the next chapter. 18. About the cameras and rendering: Hello, everyone, and welcome you to another chapter of Blender Essential Tutorial. So now we are on our Chapter number 17, and now here we'll be learning about the cameras and rendering. Okay? So we'll be learning how you'll be cameras, how to use the rendering option over here in Blender. So let's not waste time, and let's get started. So over here, as you guys can see, now I'm here in the work space of the blender. The first thing, what I'm going to do is I'm going to come here and I'm going to select up this particular cube. So if you want to see this one as a rendered view, like how it will basically look after you render. Here in this class, what we are trying to do is we are basically trying to see this particular three D view into two D mode. So if you want to see it using the cameras, this is how it will basically look. Okay. So this one is the camera. So now let's click over here. Let's go to render. And if you click on this render image option, you guys will be able to see that. So if I click on this option, here you guys can see, now I am able to view my particular cube quite like this. Okay? Now again, you guys can just cancel this thing out. And again, you will be back over here at this same space. And now over here, if I want to come to the render option again, if this is basically an animation. You guys can select this option of render dmation here you guys can actually view the dimation as well, if you just want to view that thing up. But here, how you will be able to understand that what kind of file is being rendered. So for that, I need to come here to the camera option from the posit panel. Otherwise, I can just select it from the three D view panel itself. And what you're going to do is you're going to click on this particular icon, okay? So here you guys can see. Now you are in this render view. Okay? And now if you just go back, here you guys can see. Otherwise, you guys can click on zero from your numpad, and here you guys can see. Now this is how you guys will be able to view it. So if you want to select this one, okay, let's come here and from the screen, let's try to select this. Let's come here, and I do have selected this particular part out. And now, if you want to change it, you guys can basically change it from here itself. Okay? So if you want to click on G and if you want to move, you guys can basically move using the G right over here. And if you want to move towards different kind of angle, you guys can click on Z. And here you guys can see. You guys can basically move up and down. Okay, here with the camera. And if you want to apply, just click on left key of your mouse. And now I will just click here into the camera again. Let's click on G. And now I will move the x axis. Over here, you guys can see now I can use the x axis. And if you want to move the y axis, you guys can click on Y and here you guys can actually move onto the camera view. Okay, so you guys can just place it right over here. And now, what you're going to do is if you want to give this thing up a rotation. You guys can click on R, and this is how you guys will be able to give on a rotation. Okay? So this is how you guys will be able to give this thing up a rotation. And now, if you want to scale it up, you guys can come here. Let's select this camera, click on S. And after that, you guys can basically scale it up. Okay? So just click on S. And now, let's increase the size from the x axis. Let's come here. And here you guys can see. You guys can basically scale it up as well. Okay, so just come here. Let's select this one. Okay, so let's come here. Let's select this wall. And now, if you want to go back, a, let's come here. Let's go back again. You are able to see it quite like this. Okay? So sometimes for you while you're working, it might create some kind of problems. So to avoid all of that, what you guys can do is let's come here, and I want to just change the camera view. Whenever I use this particular cube as well. Okay. Whenever I move the cube, my camera will also be moved. So for that, I will come here into the options. And from here, I will go to the view option. And from view option, let's come here and let's go to the view lock. And from here, I will lock. The camera to view. I will just long this thing up. And now, if I just move this one, let's click on G. And now I just come here and if I just move this thing up, my camera will also be moved. So come here. Let's click on Enter. And if I just move on the camera, let's click on G. Okay, let's come here. Let's click on G. And now let's click on y. Let's come here. Let's click this one. Let's click on G. And here you guys can see. Now I am able to move the camera freely. I can come here and if I just click on Enter, here I will be able to apply. So make sure that you just turn off this lock to camera view. So I will just turn it off again. And now if I want to view this one, from here, I will be able to view it quite from here as well. This is basically the render view. Okay. So right over here, in the exact panel, we also do have the option of clip start and also the clip end option. I'll be able to start the clip end. Instead of doing it from the view panel, what I can basically do is come here, select this camera and from camera, now I will come here and I will now go to this camera data object. Okay. So from here, basically, I can basically change the focal length. Okay. So if you want me to zoom in and if you want me to zoom out. Okay, I can actually change the focal length from here. Let's just give it 50 itself, how it was before. I'll click on Enter. And now over here, you guys can actually select the clip start point and the end point as well. So over here, if I just put 0.01, and if I just click on Enter and now over here, I can actually select zero. 0.1 over here as well. So here, this is how it will look. Now if I come here and if I click on one, let's come here and if I just click on Enter and basically, I will be able to move in and move out as you guys can see. Okay, so this is the clip start point. You guys can come here, and this is the clip start point, and this is the clip end point. Okay, so you guys can come here and from here, this is the clip end point. You guys can basically choose this particular option right from here. And again, from the view option, also, you guys can basically change your thing up. So let's come from here and make sure to keep the smallest distance. Okay, come here. Let's go to 0.01. Okay, so I will just give 0.01. And over here, I will just give one. So I will just come right over here. Okay. If you want me to increase this one up a little bit, so I can just create this one. Otherwise, let's say, I will just increase it from here. So I can come here. Let's go back. Let's come here and from here, I will put somewhere over here. So let's go with the 15 seconds mark, and let's come back and here you guys can basically see the view. And over here, if you want to work on with the focal length, you guys can come here and basically work on with the focal length as well. So let's come here. Let's zoom out. If I zoom out too much, I would be able to see this pedicula box over here as well. And now, let's come here. Let's turn off the camera view. Let's come here. Let's select this particular cube. And now over here, if I click on duplicate object. And over here, what I'll do is, I'll just paste this particular object right over this one as well. And now let's go to this viewpoint shading. And from here, I will go to color, and I will just select the random option. And now, here, if I just move this thing around, here you guys will be able to see that there is some problem here with the shading. Okay? So if you want me to zoom in, here you guys can see. Now, you do have some problem right over here. So the same way if you do want to move it, click on G. Let's come here. And from here, if you just click on G, This is how it actually looks. And now, if I just keep it right over here, you guys can see that I do have two objects. That's why it's giving me kind of this particular look. Okay? So there is some black shading. That needs to be understood that over here, maybe I do have more than one object at the same place. So for that, I can basically move this thing around. So now from here, what I'll do is I will come here, and that's why I need to make sure that I decrease it right from here. Let's go with 100 M. And here you guys can see this have decreased a lot. Okay? So you guys can come here and maybe decrease the number over here. Otherwise, you guys click on G and move this thing around and just delete it. So sometimes what it will happen is if you are able to see some changes quite like this, make sure to come here in your viewpoint and check the Clip start at the ending point. Let's come here. Let's go 100 and now I'll just click on Enter, right over here. Now, let's go back control minus. And over here, now, I will just move by x axis. And here you guys can see this is the camera right over here. And now what I'll do is I will just duplicate this particular camera as well. So I will come here and now I will just click on G Okay, so I will come here. And now I will just place it right over here. And if you want to move to the x axis, you guys can come here and basically move to the x axis. And now if you want to move it to the y axis, let's come and place it right over here. And if you want to move this towards the y axis, click on G, now, click on Y, and this is how you guys will be able to view it. Okay so you guys can just use it right over here. And if you do want to move this thing around, you guys can come here and you guys can basically move this camera around as well. Okay. So now over here, you guys can see now I do have these two cameras. But the difference over here is this black bar over here on top is basically filled with a color. But over here, this one is not filled with any color. So we need to know that this one is the active camera right over here. Now, if you go with rendering, then this is the camera, which angle I will be shown in my video or in by animation. So to change that, what you need to do is you need to come here and from here, let's go to the scene properties. So come here into the scene properties option. So now from here, I will come to this particular point and go to this camera option and I can select which camera do I want over here. Now you guys can see this black option is right over here on top of this particular camera. And let's see if I do want to do it from the screen, if I select this particular camera and if I click on Control O, here you guys can see. Now I am able to get a view. From this particular angle as well. And if I do want to move, let's click on G. Let's click on y. And now, if I do want to move the x axis, I can come here. Let's click on G. And now I will just click on x. Let's click on G, and now I will just move on x. And now I will click on G. And now I will again come here and just try to place it over here in the center as well. Okay, so now I'll just place it, and again, go back right over here. And now, if you try to see this particular thing up, let's come here. And if you want to move this thing, you guys can come here and if you want to give this thing up a rotation, in the y axis. You guys can come here and give this one up a rotation here in the y axis. And if you want to make this one, again, the active camera, go to the camera option and now come here and just basically view it over here. So from here, again, what you are able to do is come here, select this ticar option, click on G, and now you guys can basically move this thing around. And now let's go back over here. And now you guys can see you guys will be able to change between the cameras using the shortcut key control zero as well. But make sure when you're in other objects, okay, don't use the control zero from o numpad because it will give you some different options and you'll get confused. You'll get lot confused, and it will be hard for you to work after that. So yeah, I hope you guys have understood about the camera. So now let's try to learn about the rendering option. So now, again, what I'll do is I'll come here. And now, again, I will just turn this into a material option. Let's give this particular thing up a rotation quite like this. And now over here, what I am going to do is I'm going to place it right over here, select this particular cube. And now over here, if you go to the view option, and from view, if you want to see the viewport render image, this is how you guys will be able to view up this particular image from this basic view. So again, close this thing down. Then you were able to see it right from here itself. And also now we will talk about rendering. So for that, you guys come here, select this thing, and from here, go to this render option. Okay? And here, you do have different kind of render engine. Okay? So this one is the E. So you guys can come here and change the rendering option, and also you guys can basically change the viewpoint. Okay, so you guys can come here, change this thing up, And now, if you want to look down, you guys can come here and go to that particular option as well. And from here, if you click on the work Brench option, under the workbench option, also, you do have all of these options, which were available. So from here, you guys can actually choose random. And now, if you want to choose object, you guys can select all of these things right over here. But now, once you guys are changing all of these things over here, but you are not able to see those changes in your screen itself. Just because we are here in the solidify shading option. So from here, I will go to the render option. So let's come here and from here, let's click on object. And here you guys can basically check out the color as well. Okay, so over here, you guys can basically see the color. Once you have changed, you guys can basically check it out from different angle. You guys can come here, And from here now, let's move on to the x axis. And over here, what you are going to do next is if you want to come here and if you want to save out any output. So come here, just underneath the render option. You do have the output option, and from here, you guys will be able to select the file where do you want to save it. So let's come here. Let's go to my desktop option. And from here, I will go to my resource file, and over here, maybe I will just put up a name. Okay, so I will just name this file as camera. And what I'll do is I'll just click on Accept option. And now over here, I will be able to choose what kind of image format do I need. Okay, so I will just click here on PNG and also I will be able to select the color depth over here. And if you want to select the compression and stuff, you guys can come here and also here you do have the color management option. So I will just skip it over here, and I can just save it up quite like this here in the output option. And now, if I go to the render image option, over here, you guys can basically see this is the render image option right over here. Okay so you guys can basically check this thing out. And if you want to create a new image, you guys can come here and click on this new image, and if you want to open this image up, you guys can come here. And from here, you guys will be able to open up different image as well. So I will just cancel this part as well. So, yeah, I hope you guys have understood this class on how you will be able to work on with the cameras and also how you'll be able to work on with rendering. So yeah, I hope to see you all in any other tutorial. So I will always suggest to you that keep on practicing render. So I have just explained to you guys all the basic things which you need to know before stepping on to the three D animation. Okay? So yeah, I hope to see you all in any other tutorial on blender till then, take care and goodbye, everyone. Okay. 19. Class Project 1 - Merging different objects: Hello, everyone. So this is the time for our class project, and this is the class project one, where we'll be merging different objects in blender. Okay? So first, I'll be showing you guys the steps of what all you need to follow. Next, we'll be learning that how we will be able to create our merge different objects in one. So let's go and see the steps first. So over here on top. C, I do have the name of the class project as merging different objects in blender. Okay. So over here, I do have a description and outcome which you guys can refer once you work or try to make the same object, which I'm doing it right over here. So, for me, I will directly go onto the steps of what all you need to follow. So step one, open up the blender work space. Step two, select the default cube or change the mesh, and in step three, you have to duplicate the object and join the objects accordingly. And in step four, you have to go view in the edit mode and go to the modifiers properties. And after that, going to the modifier properties, you need to search the mish modifier, and adjust the shapes according to your liking. And lastly, you have to save the file and make sure to upload it in our project panel. Okay? So now, let's go to blender, and let's see how it basically works. So here, as you guys can see, now, I'm here in the workspace. And from here, now I will just delete this thing up. Let's click on Shift ten A. Let's go to mesh, and let's try to take a UVpeer. Okay. So over here, I do have taken one U viper. And if I want to duplicate this object, I will just right click on my mouse, and I'll just click on duplicate objects. Okay, so I'll just duplicate, and I'll just keep both of these things accordingly. Let's come here and let's check this thing out. Let's click on this particular icon right over here. And now let's click on G. And if you want to move it to the x axis. Let's click on x, so you guys can come here and move it along the x axis. If you want to go to the x axis, you guys can come here. Let's select this item. And from here, let's click on G. And after that, let's click on X, so you guys can come here and make sure to move it around. If you want to see it from other angles, you guys can come here and you guys can basically see it from other angles as well. So once you have both of this, now make sure to select both of this and now click on Control J. So you guys can come here and click on the Control J option. And after that, what you need to do is go here into this particular option right over here, down, so you guys can come here, go to the modifiers option, and from the modifiers option, let's click on add modifier. Come here, go to the generate option. And from generate option, you guys can come here and select the bish option. Okay, come here. And from here, you guys can basically select. And if you want to view it in the X ray mode, you guys can come here and basically view it in the X ray mode. Okay, so you guys can come here bring this thing up quite like this. And now, once you're done, you guys can come here, click on this option and click on Apply. Okay, so now you do have applied this one. And if you want to see the same thing in a solid view over here, you guys can see now I do have joined both of this icon. And now if you do want to move it up, you guys can come here and if you want to give this thing up a rotation, here you guys can give this thing up a rotation. Now, let's just duplicate this object. Okay so I will come here and I'll just duplicate this particular object. And now let's give this one up a rotation as well. This is how you guys can actually give this thing up a rotation. Let's just move it up quite over here. Now, you need to save this particular file. Go to file option, go to save as, from here, let's select the resource file. And now let's go let's type this one as class project one. I will just write class project. One, and I'll just save this thing up. Make sure to save this and upload these things into our project pattern that I can check those out and get back to you guys accordingly. See you all in the next chapter, till then, take care and goodbye, everyone. Okay. 20. Class Project 2 - Creating a donut model: Hey, guys. So now, this is the time for our class project number two, where we will be creating a donut model in Blender. Okay? So we'll be learning how you can actually create a donut model, how you can actually add a atorusFirst, I'll I'll be showing you guys the steps in a Word file. Then we will move onto blender application and see how it let's go onto the steps first. So here, as you guys can see, on the top, I do have the name of the class project as creating a donut model in blender. And after that, I do have description and outcome, which you guys can refer once you guys are working. But for me, I will directly go onto the steps. So step one, open blender and add a Taurus. Step two, apply subdivision surface model with control plus two. We have to click on Control plus two. And after that, step three is duplicate the object and scale it down. So once you have duplicated the object, now scale it down, Step four, go to the object option. Go to the convert bending and step five is select convert to Mesh. And once this is done, step six is save the file and upload it in our project panel. So now let's move on to blender and let's see how this is basically done. So over here, as you guys can see, now I'm here in the workspace. So I'll just delete this thing up. Let's click on Shift D A. Let's go to Mesh and let's select a Taurus. Okay, so I'll come here, go to the Taurus and go to this A Taurus option down here. And now in the minor radius, I will put 0.5, and I'll just click on Enter. And now, what I'll do is I'll just select this thing up, and now I will click on Control two from my keyboard for this subdivision set. So I will just come right over here, select this subdivision. Set. And now let's just select this particular angle. And from here now I want to duplicate this thing up. Let's click on duplicate objects. And now, just on top of this one, I will basically place. Okay, so I will come right over here and on top, I will just place this thing up and let's select this top option. So now from here, I will scale it up as well. Okay, so I will click on S, and what I'll do is I will just scale it down. Okay, so I will come here, and I will just scale it down quite like this, and let's see a view from here on top. Okay? So this one looks good. Again, what I'll do is I will select this part and go to object. And from object, I will go to quick effects. And from here, I will select quick liquid. Okay. So once I do have this particular option right over here. Now, I will select this down part. And after selecting this down part, what I'll do is I will come into this particular option here into this modifier option right over here, and now go to this physics properties. Over here, I will go to the fluid option, and from fluid, I'll come here and I will select the effector. And over here in the effector, what I can do is I can just change the surface tickness. I can come here and maybe if you do want me to increase it, I can come here and I can basically drag and drop. I can just drag this one. Otherwise, if you want me to put anything else up, I can basically put this thing up over here as well. Okay, so you guys can come here, place this one up. And now let's select this box outside. So I will select this particular box. And over here, I will just select more resolution. So now let's come down. Let's go to this mash option. Okay. So now over here, I do have the mash option. And let's say now you guys can come down, and if you want to see it in a solid view, this is how it looks. So you guys And from here, now, again, let's go to the edit mode. So now let's go back. Let's come here back. Now again, what I'll do is I'll just select this top part. From here, let's go to the edit mode. And if you want to change it, you guys can come here, and you guys can change it from here also. So you guys can come here and maybe change it from here itself. Let's go to the object mode from here, and you do have your doughnut likes over here. Okay, now, come here. Let's say, go back a little bit and place it. And now, here you guys can see. You do have this particular object. Now go to object. And from here, what you can do is if you want to come here and go to quick effects, or let's come here to convert. And now I will convert this particular thing as a mesh. Okay? So if you want me to delete the top part over here, you guys can see, I do have deleted now here you do have your donut like structure. Okay, so this is how you guys will be able to create donut like structure over here. And now, lastly, save your file from SVS. And now I will name this one as class project two. Okay. So I will name this one as the class project two. Let's click on SVS, and it will be saved accordingly. So yeah, I hope you guys have understood this class on how you will be able to create a donut like structure in Blender. So I hope to see you all in any other chapter till then, take your head goodbye, everyone.
