1. Introduction and Supplies Needed for This Course: Hey, friends, how are you? I hope you're having a great day today. I'd like to introduce you to my course, drawing jungle animals step by step. And I wanted to share with you the supplies in the materials that you will need to be successful in this course. There aren't a lot of supplies and materials there, just a few. So this is a good beginner's course. A good course to start out with. What you'll need are some pieces of paper. You'll need 5 to 6 pieces of paper, plus more. If you'd like to practice a lot, you will also need ah, pencil or a marker. I use a marker in my video so you can actually see what I'm drawing. If you have around your house, you can also use crayons, or you can use colored pencils or you can use markers. Those are all good choices as well, or you can use all three of them. It's up to you. Please continue watching this video for examples of the drawings that we will create today . Looking forward to seeing you on the inside 2. How to Draw a Chameleon: Hey, friends, how are you? I hope you're having a great day today. Today we're going to be creating a chameleon. So let's get started. The first thing that you want to do is make a straight line on your paper like this. The next thing that we're going to do is we're going to create a chameleon's face and this is the shape that are chameleons faces. So basically, it's a straight line down and then we have a very large sea. This is the face of our chameleon. Let's make his body now. So what we're going to do now is we're going to make his back, go up a little bit, come down a little bit and then what we're going to do is we're going to create a swirl like this. This is going to be his tail. So this is our communion space, and we're going to create some features on his face. So let's make an I, which is a nice big round circle with another circle inside and then a dot and then maybe a small eyebrow and then a nostril only one nostril, because we're looking at our communion from the side and then a mouth and chameleons don't usually look the happiest. So we're just going to make a straight line for his mouth. If you want to make a happy chameleon, go ahead and do that and you couldn't make a little smile on your Camilion space. Let's finish up his tummy right here. But before we do, we need to put a leg right here in this area. So to create a chameleon's leg, which just come down and then we angle, we come down and then we ankle and then we can just create Hiss Foot at this time is well, so basically, it's just a few points. Two or three or four points with your marker or your pencil and then for his foot on the other side of his body, were just going to make some lines coming out and making some more toes. Now let's work on his tummy here, and then we're going to stop about right here because we want to put his back foot so we'll follow along here until we get to about that point and we will make his back foot at that point. So let's make his like first so it's just basically some lines that have a little turn in them and then his toes. And then we can even make another foot right here with a leg and some toes. Now we can finish up the back of his tummy, and we're going to go right into a spiral into his tail. So let me show you how we do that. We follow along with this straight line, and then we come to the tail and the tail. As it gets closer to the tip. It gets smaller and smaller and skinnier and skinnier. So the actual tip is pretty skinny. So that is the face in the body. Ever chameleon. Let's add a little detail. Now when you're adding detail to chameleon, you could basically do anything you want. You can create stripes. You can create circles or ovals or triangles, anything that you like. So what I'm about to do right now is to just give you some suggestions on what you might think about. So I think along the top part of his head, I'm going to put just some very small spikes, and I'm also going to put these spikes down his back not all the way down his tail, but I think I'm going to stop as his tail begins. So these air pretty small and basically it's just a zigzag line. And then I'm going to get smaller and smaller. And then if you want to continue your zigzags all the way around, that's a great idea. Now I think I'm going to put some circles in some ovals up here. I think that that would create a lot of nice detail on my chameleon. We really make them a little bit smaller as we get closer to the tail. Then I think I'm going to put some How about some triangles right here on his tummy? And I think what I'm going to do is I'm going to continue these triangles all the way down . They'll get smaller and smaller and smaller as we get closer to the tip of his tail. How about that? I love the way that he's looking so far. If you feel like you'd like to add some more to your chameleon, you could go ahead and do that right now. I think what I'm going to do is I'm going to put my communion on a branch because that's where communion's like to be. So I'm going to make a branch and I'm going to make it come out and I'm going to make it hit his speech, so it looks like he's actually standing on it. If I want to separate the branch into two little branches, I just make a V like this. And then I come like this. It just creates a little bit more of an interesting branch right here. You could do whatever you want. You can create some leaves because this chameleon might live in the jungle. You can create some leaves up here. You can create different types of leaves. It's completely up to you, or you don't have to put him in a jungle at all. You could have him sitting on your couch, or you can have him in a zoo. It's up to you. So think about what you'd like to dio for your background. If anything, Alrighty, there's our chameleon. I hope you enjoy this lesson and I'll see you next time. Thanks. Bye 3. How to Draw a Toucan: Hey, friends, how are you today? I hope you're having a good day. Today. We will be creating two can in the jungle. So let's get started. The first thing that you want to do is make the two cans Bill and they have really big bills. So the way that we do that is we're going to make a straight line with a curved line at the end. Now we're going to make a straight line coming back, and it's going to be about even with the initial line that you made. The next step is to make the two cans head and his body, so we're going to come down with a curved line and then another curve line at the bottom. With this line right here, we're going to make a straight line coming down, and it's not going to necessarily touch at the bottom, and that's okay. So he came down from the top line, touched the middle line, and we came all the way down. The next step is we're going to go back up to our two cans bill, and we're going to create a design on the bill. Two cans have different designs on their bills. So you get to decide what kind of design you would like to put on your two cans built. I'm going to just put a curved line, maybe a six tagline and then maybe an oval. You can put as many lines as you like, or a few lines as you like for two cans. I I'm just going to make a sideways letter you, And inside that letter, you I'm going to make a very large circle inside that circle. I'm going to make a smaller circle, and I'm going to fill that in with Black. And I left a little bit of a shine mark there for his body for two cans. Body were going to make a shape that looks like this, and that's one of his wings. He's kind of turning his head this way, looking this way in, his body's facing this way and his other wing is over here. Now We're going to go down here to the bottom, and we're going to create a branch for our too can to sit on. So let's do that. Let's just create a branch. Branches don't necessarily have to be super straight, but there is a sickness to them, so you'll want to make two lines down underneath your two can. You can make sen tail feathers and then also some feet. This is how I make my two cans feet, his toes. Alrighty. So let's go back and look at our background in the jungle. We like to make a lot of foliage richer, just leaves and plants and trees. So I am going to put some greenery on the branch that my two canIs sitting on. And if you'd like to know how to make this type of greenery, this type of foliage, it's basically it almost looks like a crown, doesn't it? It's basically just the letter M up and down, up and down, up and down. So it's the letter M with a new extra little peak at the top, and then I think I'll put one here. You can do different types of leaves as well. You could do this type of relief so it's really long, and then you could put spines on it. I know that there are a lot of this type of plants inside of the jungle, so any type of foliage that you'd like to place on your paper. Go ahead and do that. Can't even fill up your whole entire piece of paper if you like. I think I'm going to put a vine right here and maybe some leaves on the vine. It's really up to you as to your background and how you want to decorate it. I know that too can sometimes like to eat Berries. So I'm going to put some Berries on this Fine. And I think I'm finished. If you feel like you have some space that you'd like to fill up, go ahead and draw whatever you like at this point. And then after you do that, you could either color or you can paint your to can. I hope you had fun and we'll see you in the next lesson by 4. How to Draw a Monkey: Hey, friends, how are you? I hope you're having a great day today. Today we will be creating a monkey. Ah, jungle monkey. So let's get started. The first thing that you want to do is make a circle do the best you can on circle circles are kind of tricky. Sometimes I've had a lot of practice, but they do take a lot of practice to get really good at drawing circles. The next thing that we're going to do is put a face inside of her monkey. So we're going to create a excuse me, a line that looks like this that closes up at the top. It's almost like a heart shape, but without the pointy bottom. The next thing that we're going to do is create a face for monkey. So coming about halfway down, you're going to make some eyes wide set and then a nose, which will be some just some lines and nostrils and a nice wide smile. And don't forget your eyebrows. If you'd like to make a different type of a face, go ahead and do that. The next thing that we're going to do is make some ears coming out of the side of his head and maybe even some little hair sticking out on the top for our monkeys body were just going to make a shape that looks like this. It's almost like an upside down letter C and a circle in the middle for his tummy, for his arms in his legs. What I like to do is just make some lines that are doubled up and, for his hands, just a little circle. So lying, lying circle, line, line, circle and line line circle. I think in this hand right here, I'm going to make a banana because I know that monkey's really like to eat bananas in this hand. We're going to show that our monkey is hanging from a vine, so we're going to have a vine coming out and coming down, passing through the hand and then going off the piece of paper. You don't have to do this part, but I just think it's a lot of fun. I'm going to add some leads, which urges curved lines to my vine. And maybe even a few Berries might be fun for a little bit more detail in color and then down below I think I'm going to just add Cem foliage like this. And basically what the's are are just lines. They're curved that hooked together and they represent leaves and trees. I hope you enjoyed this lesson and I will see you in the next video by 5. How to Draw a King Lion: Hey, friends, how are you? I hope you're having a great D today. Today we're going to be making a lion with a crown on his head. Ah, King Lion. So let's get started. The first thing that you want to do about in the middle of your piece of paper is you are going to make a square. But this is going to be a special square because the angles on the square going to be soft corners just like this. The next thing that we're going to do is on the corner of each angle. We're going to make some little tiny ears next down at the bottom. We're going to make a triangle for our lion's nose and fill it in with your marker or your pencil. Whatever you have that you're drawing with and then a little tiny mouth coming up from his knows we're going to make some lines that go all the way up to the top of his head, curved lines like this and in the middle, right here of his face. What we're going to do is we're going to make some eyes that look like cats eyes, so they're going to be almond shaped, so you make curve line and close it up with a curved line, make another curve line and close it up with a curved line. Inside of those you're going to make a circle and then a pupil, which is just going to be a straight line. You can make some eyebrows and then some whiskers. The next thing that we're going to do is we're going to create our Lions crown. The crown is going to go at the top of his head. So the way that I make a crown is I just go up, come down, up, down, up, down. And then I close it up at the bottom. They almost look like two ends. You can have more points or less points than I do, though. The next thing that we're going to do is make our lion's mane and our lions mean is going to go around the crown and around our lion's head. So basically we have some zigzag lines all the way around. Our Lioce had in Brown and then we're going to close it up right there to make our lion's body. We're just going to go underneath the main, and we're going to make a curve lying down and another curve line down, and then we're going to make four straight lines with some little feet at the bottom. Now we can close at the bottom of our lion's body and then make the back legs coming out and the feet. So basically, those air upside down Jays with a curve little line coming out at the back for the foot, for our lion's tail. It's just a curve line coming up and then follow that curve line with another Kurt line at the top. Who makes some more little spike ease just like that. Now, if you like to take a moment and add some things around your lion, maybe some plants, maybe some insects. It's completely up to you as to whether or not you want to put any background around your lion. I'll just give you a couple of ideas here. We can have some vines coming down from the top with some leaves where you can have this type of a plant with some spiky leaves on it. It's up to you, so I like to fill my space when I'm making my jungle lions. I hope that you had fun with this lesson and I'll see you in the next video by
