1. Welcome to Class!: Hi there, My name is Ben. I'm going to be your instructor today. And today we are teaching a course that I'm really honestly very excited about, which is understanding etsy SEO. And if you're new to SEO, SEO means search engine optimization. Basically, how can you show up first in search on Etsy? And I'm really, really excited it to get him to this course. My goal here is that this will be a very experience of course, but there'll be simple into the points so that you can learn a ton about SEO and search engine optimization without spending too much time so that you can actually get into your Etsy shop and start doing the work to make sure that your SEO is on point. My name is Ben Haas. I am a side hustle coach, so I have an Instagram Tiktok. I teach here on Skillshare and I love sharing information about how to find, start and grow your very own side hustle. One of my expertise is in Etsy and being able to make sales on Etsy. So I'll get into that talking about who I am and why I'm the person here teaching this course today. So like I said, my name is Ben. I live and work in New York City and I run about for businesses including an Etsy shop. I'm a side hustler. I loved side hustles. I love coming up with ways to make money, ways to create, creatively express myself. And Etsy is such a great way to do that. So I've actually found myself teaching other people about how to really get in there on Etsy and make some sales because a lot of times they have ideas, they have reasons that they want to start and that's Etsy store, but they don't actually end up making sales. So this course, the main goal of this course is to teach you how to really optimize your SEO, your search engine optimization to truly make sense. I have an Etsy shop. It's actually my second Etsy shop that I've started. I sell corporate humor mugs on Etsy, so things like sorry, I was on mute. Let's circle back later. Things like that on mugs, which is a really fun to Etsy store. And I've sold over 350 of those months in the last year or two. I am a successful Etsy seller. I love talking about Etsy. I love helping other people with their Etsy shops. And that's why I teach the courses here on Skillshare. I love being able to share these messages and these lessons that I've learned, I have spent hours and hours, probably a 100 or 200 hours on Skillshare on YouTube, exploring my, exploring myself through, through ETC. And I have learned a ton about Etsy SEO, search engine optimization. And I'm really, really excited to share these lessons with you. Today's agenda is pretty packed, but we'll get through it fairly quickly. My goal is again, to be straightforward but very educational so that this is the only class that you have to take about Etsy SEO. The first thing we're gonna talk about is defining search engine optimization. Then we're gonna get into tags and what we call long tail tags. We're going to talk about focus keywords, titles, tags, descriptions. And then at the very end, I'm going to share with you a tip that I got from my friend who is also a business owner, that was really helpful when it came to SEO. And then I'm going to share with you a tool that you can try out to really master your SEO. This is gonna be, I'm actually very excited about this course. I've been working on it for awhile to make sure that I am delivering skills and lessons that are very relevant to you as an Etsy seller. And I'm so excited to dive in. Let's click into the next video and get to it. 2. What is SEO? : Okay, so before we even get started on the tips and the trucks and the strategies, what I would love to do is dive in and talk about what is SEO. Like I said, SEO means search engine optimization. And I want to demystify that a little bit even further because some people might not know what search engine optimization necessarily means, but it is exactly what it sounds like. It's optimizing for search on Etsy. So the goal of SEO is to show up as close to the first page as possible when people are searching on Etsy. It's basically optimizing for search engines and it's very important when you want to make sales to integers. You might be thinking why is SCOM important? It's important because you want to show up on Etsy when people search something similar to what you're selling, a lot of times people start Etsy stores and they promote on Instagram, they promote on to their family and friends. And that's something that's very necessary when you have an Etsy store, especially to make your first few sales. But I cannot stress this enough. It is extremely important that if you want to sell to strangers on Etsy, that you master this skill of SEO, you don't have to master it, you just have to get pretty good at it. The other thing that I want to say about SEO and going on Etsy and making sales is that it's not just something that you can click on or click off. It is a skill that you have to learn and you'll have to stay very active with with each listing that you post to xy. So what I recommend is taking this course, going through this course, taking notes and identifying for yourself. What are the things that I know that I can do to maximize my SEO on Etsy. That's what SEO is. I hope that was a good explanation and that you understand now because we're gonna get into tags, titles, descriptions, and really how to maximize your SEO. In the next couple of slides. 3. Long Tail Tags: Okay, So one of the most important things that you will ever need to know about SEO, and it's actually the first step toward maximizing your SEO is understanding exactly what tags are. You've heard about tags and hashtags on Instagram. You've heard about them by tagging a YouTube video. You have heard of search terms in Google, but have you heard about tags on Etsy? They're not much different, but it's really important that you understand what a tag is. And I cannot stress this enough. It's a really important that you use tags on Etsy. Tags help your SEO because it tells Etsy when they want you to show up in search, if you posted a green shirt, It's important that you tell Etsy that what you're selling is a green shirt. And one of the ways that you can do that is by tagging it with the words and green or green shirts or shirt. That way Etsy nose so that when someone types in green shirts, you will show up. That's what a tag is. So it's really important that you understand that tags are necessary when you're building out your SEO. It's essentially a word or a few words that describe what your product is. And you can add these tags. And when you are posting your listing, when you're going through and adding a title and putting up your pictures, There's a space that you can put your tags. And it's really important that you actually think really strategically about how you're going to tag your items. Because there's a lot of tips and tricks that I'll get into in the next slide that really will help you. The last thing on this slide though, is that there are 13 slots. You can put in 13 tags. Key takeaway here is that I want you to use all 13 tags. It's going to help you not hurt you. It's going to make Etsy really aware of what it is that you're selling so that they know exactly when to push your items to customers. It's really important that you use all 13 tags when you are posting your listing on Etsy. Now, Long Tail tags or something that's a little bit more advanced. So if you really think about it as tags versus long-tail tags, tags are important, they're good. They will help your SEO for sure. But if you really want to put that cherry on top, and I highly recommend looking into this and learning a little bit more as well, is understanding how to leverage long tail tags. Long-tailed tags is probably something that you may not have heard of. It's a little bit more advanced, but it's something that is very good for your SEO. Now some tags are only one word. In the past example of green shirt, shirt is a short tail tag. Green is a short tail tag. But a tag with two to three words is best because it makes you show up for more specific searches. Just back to this example of the green shirt. If I am a customer on Etsy and I'm looking for a green shirt. And I type in green shirt. I want your green shirt to show up first. Because then I'm going to have something that's really relevant to what I'm looking for. If I type in shirt, then I'm going to see a million shirts. They're gonna be irrelevant to me. They are not going to be what I'm exactly looking for at a lot of times the behavior on Etsy is that people type in things that are specific to what they're looking for. Very rarely does somebody go onto Etsy and type in the word mug or the word necklace. A lot of times people are looking for things that are specific. Maybe they're looking for a pink heart necklace. Then pink heart necklace is three words. If you made that your tag, that would be a long tail tag. The reason that's helpful is because then if you tag your item as pink heart necklace and somebody goes in and, and types in pink heart necklace, you are going to come up so much closer to the first page and you're much more likely to make that sale because what they searched is exactly what you're selling. That match is really important when you're thinking about SEO and you're thinking about tanks and descriptions and all of that stuff. The more you can do in your listing and then your tags to make sure that what they're searching is exactly what you've tagged and exactly what you're selling. The better the more specific your tag is, the better your chances are at selling your items. That is the core of what we're talking about here is how to really make more sales. And SEO is an example of a great way to leverage your knowledge and your skills to make more sales. The second piece on long tail tags, I thought it'd be good to give examples of bad, which is short-tailed tags, and good which is long-tail tags. So examples of short-tailed tags, and this is what you want to avoid. Do not use these tags if you're looking to have longer tail tags. But mug would be a short tail tag that you don't want to use. The example is if you typed in mug, they'll user is going to get millions of results for monk, it is very unlikely that you're going to show up first for when someone types in mug shirt is the same story. Taylor Swift might seem like a long tail tag, but there's probably so many things on entity that have to do with Taylor Swift that you're still not going to show up first. And the last one here is college. If someone, if you tag something as college, you're probably not going to make very many sales because there are so many things on Etsy that have to do with certain colleges that you're not gonna show up first. Again, that is the goal, is how can I, as the Etsy shop owner, show up as close to the first page as possible. The answer to that is maximizing your SEO. Examples of long tail tags which are good. Instead of mug, I would say if you're selling a Beach Boys mug, then title it and tag it. The Beach Boys mug shirt would be New York Yankees shirt that is much more likely to get closer to the first page. Instead of saying Taylor Swift, you can say Taylor Swift red key chain. And that would make it so that it's much more specific. So the only people who will see your item or people who are actually looking for a red Key chain. Instead of college putting the specific college put, maybe putting the color, putting what the item is. So purple SFS, new socks, That's my college that I went to. So I would want to sell socks in their color. And that's an example of long tail tags. You can see how the long tail tags are a few more words than just mug, shirt, Taylor Swift or college. They have descriptive their specific and they're longer tail tax. So make sure when you're choosing your focus keywords, which is what we'll talk about in the next slide, that you are choosing keywords that are long tail tags. Let's move on. 4. Focus Keywords: Focus keywords is something that I really want to drive home as well. So focus keywords. You've heard the term keyword. What are you searching on Google? What are you searching on YouTube? What are you searching on Etsy, these are all examples of key words and you would want your tags to be your keywords. The term focus keywords are tags and words that show up in all three of these categories. They are tags and words that show up in your tags, titles, and descriptions. So let's take a pause and take a step back and talk about how, when I'm talking about SEO, the main thing I'm talking about is titles, tags, and descriptions, those three things. So it's titles. What is the title of your listing? Tags? How are you tagging your item, and what have you written in the description, title tags and description. Focus keywords are things that show up in all three of those categories. So if I'm writing about a black horse shirt, I want black horse shirt to come up in the title. I want it to come up in the tags, and I want it to come up in the descriptions. It's really important that you're thinking about those tags and where you can place them to make them more powerful. Focus keywords in your listing or more powerful SEO tools, because they make the keywords and tags more searchable and they hold more weight. You can imagine two listings here. Maybe I'm selling greeting cards and maybe they are about prints. The singer. One listing just says greeting cards. Maybe it says prints greeting card in the title, but it doesn't say it in the tags, it doesn't say it in the description. And the other one says prints greeting card in the title tag and description. Those two Etsy listings are not the same. The one that just has it in the tags or just has it in the titles is not as strong as the one who has it in the title tag and description. Etsy, if somebody's searches prints greeting card at C, we'll show the one that has the stronger tags and the stronger focus keywords first before it shows the weaker one, the stronger one, just to reiterate, is the one that has the word prints greeting card in the title tag and the description. It basically makes it more weighted. It holds more power if it shows up in all three of those things. I hope that makes sense. I hope I didn't harp on it too much, but it's really, really important. So they should be descriptive, like long tail tags. So you wouldn't want your focus keyword to be card. You might not even want it to be greeting card. But prints greeting card would be a great focus keyword because that's actually something that people might search. So if someone searches, prints greeting card, and you have it in your title tags and descriptions, and you show up, that person is going to be so likely to buy your item because it's exactly what they're looking for. That's something I really want to drive home is if you can create a listing and make the titles, tags, and descriptions descriptive of what you're actually selling. You can match the searches that people are searching for with what you're selling, you will make a lot of sales. That's kind of breaking, kind of groundbreaking thing with FC is that you should be selling items that people actually want. If you're doing that and if you've tagged it correctly, you're going to make more sales. They can be also creatively worked into titles and descriptions. More about descriptions and titles in the next hat, in the next slides. But just keep that in mind that you don't just have to list them out in bullet points. Actually, I think you shouldn't do that, but you can creatively, right? And one of the things that's really interesting about SEO in general is that when people write blog posts or when people write website homepages, they're actually writing paragraphs out and writing sentences that include these focus keywords so that it seems natural for someone to read it. But from the SEO perspective and the SEO machine can pick up those words and actually spit out the right results when someone searches. So get creative about the way that you incorporate these keywords into your listing. 5. Listing Titles: Now we've talked about tags, we've talked about focus keywords. And so this is where we really start to put it altogether. And we're talking now about listing titles. As you know, when there is a listing on Etsy, it always has a title. You might not think that there's a strategy to making things show up first in search based on the title. But there really is. And so what I always like to say is add as many of your fear of focus keywords into your title as possible. It's really, really important that if you are using these focused keywords in your titles, tags, and descriptions. So here we're talking about titles. I also want you to think about how you can add them in your description and your tags. Be descriptive and use your focus keywords. And I would love to show you just with an example today about what kind of title I'm looking for when I'm looking for a good SEO title and what I'm not looking for. So you'll see down here at the bottom I have a bad example, which is a Beyonce key chain. Now, Beyonce key chain is better than Beyonce and it's better than key chain, or at least there's two words putting it together. But it's not very strong and it's not going to have very many opportunities for people to find it. So what I like to do is add in as many keywords, as many focused keywords, and pull from the tags that I used to really identify a title that will pull in as many people. Because another thing about SEO is if you type in Beyonce key chain as your title. Just for an example, you might find ten people who will, who will find your item. But if you type in this example here, which is a longer example of Beyonce lemonade, key chain, lemonade music video, merch Bay HIV fan collection, Beyonce memorabilia. Then you're putting out more words that people can actually use to find your item. That's a really, really good things. So what I always like to say for this good example is find as many keywords from your, from your tags and from your description and put them right up there into your title here. So what I like to do is come up with a couple of different phrases. So we have Beyonce lemonade key chain, that's the main one. You always want to put the main one up front. And then we have lemonade music video March, which is a great long-tail keyword beehive fan collection. That's a really good thing for people who are looking for things that are specifically for the fandom of Beyonce. And then the last one here is Beyonce memorabilia. The reason why I say put all of these different words in there is because anything that someone types in Beyonce memorabilia, they would not find your item if you had just titled it Beyonce key chain. Same with beehive fan collection, you just wouldn't, they just wouldn't ever find you. The more you can put in the titles, the better off you'll be and the more sales that you'll make in terms of structure and almost like grammar and I'm the framework of the title. I definitely recommend putting a slash or a line between each of the words and making it feel really organized. So you can see here how I have Beyonce lemonade key chain and then I have a line. It's not just commas, I think that's sometimes look a little sloppy. But fiance lemonade, key chain line, lemonade music video March line. And that can actually make it look really nice, but also include a lot of different keywords in there. So it's really important that when you are doing your titles that you include as many of the keywords as possible. That is the main tip here for listing titles on Etsy. 6. Listing Descriptions: So now we've talked, again, we've talked about tags, we've talked about titles. And now we're going to talk about description, which is really where you can get a lot of leverage from your SEO on Etsy. So we're talking about descriptions and the description is what someone reads about your product before they buy. So this is where I was talking about getting creative with your keywords and your focus keywords and your tags and your titles, descriptions, I really want you. This is less of an SEO tip and more of a merchandising tip on Etsy. But I really want you to think about what is the customer going to ask if they were to message you about the products? So if you're selling something that requires dimensions, if you're selling something that may or may not be dishwasher safe, if you're selling something that is original versus a print, what are those questions that somebody might ask you in a message directly to you? And I want you to write out paragraphs about what the answers to those questions are. Salad a little bit and talk about what you're selling and talk about the story of why you created it, who you are. I really want you to get creative in here and talk about ways that share ways that you can connect with your clients and with your customers and with the buyers who are buying your items right out more than you think. That's my big tip here. I think a lot of times people are pretty minimalistic when they write out their descriptions. But as far as, as far as I know, there's not really a limit or the limit might be huge to how much you can write. The other thing that I know about fc and fc consumer behavior is that a lot of people don't actually read through every single piece of the description. They mainly see the image, they see the title, they see the price, they see the shipping, and they make a decision based on that. But the description is a really, really, really helpful place for you to add in those focused keywords and give information about what the product is. I really would highly encourage everybody and really specifically to leverage your focus keywords and get creative about how you include them. And include basically every 13 of your tags, include them in your description somewhere. So as you're writing through the description of what your product is, think about the 13 tags you're 13 focus keywords that you came up with as you're building out the, um, as you're building out the listing and really add those in there to your description. The last thing that I'll say about descriptions is show your personality and your willingness to provide great service. Again, this is not necessarily an SEO tip. It's more of a sales type in more of a merchandising tip. But this is where people might go to see what kind of person you are to see if they want to buy from you. And so it can always be a nice cherry on top to just show them that you're a nice person. How you made the items, why you decided to start the shop. It's all really great to add that in and show that you're willing to provide really great service. Another quick reminder about titles, tags and descriptions. I want to repeat it because I want you to walk away from this class knowing that there's nothing more important than adding your focus keywords into your titles, tags and descriptions. So description is just as important as the title and tag, which is oftentimes overlooked on Etsy, also on other websites. So if you are taking these lessons from ETC, they do apply to something like YouTube or Instagram. It's really important that when you're ready off the description, you are making it searchable. Titles, tags, and descriptions. 7. Posting Multiple Listings: So this slide I am very excited about because this is something that I didn't always know about, ETC. It's one of the best tips that I've unlocked as I've sold on Etsy for multiple years. And it's essentially that you should have at least eight or more listings in your shop. Oftentimes what I see as someone who sees a lot of Etsy stores and someone who helps other people figure out how to start and grow their Etsy store? Is that a lot of times, especially when people are getting started, they only have two or three items for sale on their ETC. Industry. Now, that's fine. But etsy isn't really a platform where you go on to sell one or two items. It's really supposed to be a platform where people have shops and people have stores. And so when you have just two or three items, it creates a weird experience for the customer. And they don't necessarily trust the store. They don't necessarily trust that the product is that good. And so it's really important that you have a couple of maybe eight plus listings in your store because they want to see that you're active. They want to see that you have for variety. And so what I always like to say about Etsy stores is that you should treat your, the store or any e-commerce store for that matter as if it's a regular in-person brick and mortar store. What I mean by that is if you walked into a store on Main Street in your city and they only had two items for sale. You probably would walk out. You probably wouldn't be interested in shopping for very long in that shop. It now as another extreme example, if you went into a store and they had a 100 items, you might spend an hour in there looking through the items that they have, admiring their artistic ways of building products. And you might actually walk out with two or three items. So those are two extremes. You don't want to have two items. 100 might be a lot, but it's also okay. But think of it like a regular store. What I also like to say about that example is if you walk into a store, you want to see a person. You want to see someone working, someone organizing the shelves. You want to see somebody at the cash register. So make your store feel very human, but also have a lot of different items and have them in sections so that people can actually shop around your store. Think about your store as a way. When people are walking into your store, what do you want them to see? What do you want them to feel and what is the experience that you want to create with your store. Now, the reason that I say eight or more listings is because Etsy grids them out in sections of four. And so I think it'll look at least a little bit full if you have eight sections or listings. But the other thing about having multiple listings and how it relates to SEO because of the previous steps were a little bit more around merchandising. You're getting a two-in-one in this course. But the more listings that you have and the more variety you have in the tags, titles, descriptions, and focus keywords for those items, the more people will find your shop. What I mean by this is say you have an Etsy store where you sell art and you're selling your art and maybe you're selling collages. If you only have one collage and say it's a Devil Wears Prada collage. Then the only people who will ever find your store, or people who type in collage, or people who type in Devil Wears Prada. Now if you automatically add, let's say you have 30 collages in your shop. And one of them was about Devil Wears Prada. One of them was about Batman. One of the men wall is about Tiffany jewelry. One of them was about Carol Burnett. You have all of these different listings, all of these different items, all of these different topics covered. If you have all of those out in the ecosystem of ETC, you're going to have 30 times more likelihood that people will find your shop because they are searching for Carol Burnett, they're searching for Tiffany jewelry. There's searching for the Devil Wears Prada. And now all of those people who have all of those searches are finding their way into your store. That's why I say have a multiple listings because with SEO, they want to know that people are coming from multiple places. On Etsy. That's my best example is collage. I think that's a really good example of why. If you have more items in your shop, then it's much more likely that people will find your shop. You'll convert more people to sales. You will get more people favorite in your shop. You will get me up more people visiting your shop. And it's a really great way to bring people into your store. It's kind of like if, think about Best Buy. If Best Buy put out an ad that they had Dell computers and they put out that add to a million people. Then the only people who would want to come to The Best Buy would be people who already want Dell computers. But if they had Dell computers, Apple computers, and they also had printers, and they also had printer paper or whatever. Then they put out an ad that had eight items that they've sold, they would automatically get eight times more customers to come to the store. That's an example of how SEO and how having a variety of products will help you in your shop. When you have your shop, it's important that you have eight or more listings and I can't stress that enough. I would not open a shop if you only had one or two items, I would figure out a way to have eight plus listings. With that, let's move on to the best tip I ever got about SEO on xy. 8. Best SEO Tip: In this course today, we have talked about so much. And I really, really hope that you've learned a lot about titles, tags, and descriptions. I hope you've learned about focus keywords, getting creative about your descriptions. But the coolest tip that I ever learned about SEO. And this applies to SEO within Etsy as well as, as well as outside of Etsy. But you don't have to reinvent the wheel, which is so cool and so good to know. The cool thing about Etsy is that you can look at other people's listings and you can see how many sales somebody has made. And they let you see how they did their SEO for their listing. What I recommend is going and finding similar shops to what you have. If you're selling candles, maybe find five really successful Campbell shops and bookmark their page and look into what they did in terms of titles, tags, and descriptions. Because a lot of times the more successful Etsy shops do a really good job of SEO. Look at other listings and see how they have done it. The other tip, in terms of tags, I have two tab, two tips here that will help you understand what are popular tags, what our tags you should use, and what are focused keywords that will be helpful in your SEO. The first step here is if you scroll to the bottom of a listing, not a shop but a listing, you're actually able to see some of the tags that they used to pull people in. And that's a really, really good hack when it comes to Etsy. Because a lot of times people are guessing like, would this be a good tag? Would this be a good tag? But oftentimes you can scroll to the bottom of a listing and see what was actually working for another shop. That's my first step. The second tip, back to the candle example is use the search bar to see what terms are popular by starting to type out one and seeing what they say. What I mean by that is go to the search bar and Etsy as a user. And if you're selling candles, type in candle, what that does is it auto populates a bunch of long tail tags for you. You should choose the ones that are relevant. For example, if you typed in candle and one came up that said candle, soy fall just for the season in the fall. Just as an example, if I said candles soy fall, then you would know that if you're selling that, if you actually are selling a soy fall candle, then if you, if you use that tag, it will actually bring in more people to your shop, to your product. And so you can take that from the search bar and add it into your own tags and your own focus keywords. Another example is if you are selling mugs and you really are selling, let's say celebrity mugs, maybe you're selling Britney Spears mugs. Then if you type in the word Britney Spears, you're going to get a really good couple of examples of long-tailed tags that are working for Britney Spears. Britney Spears mug would be one long tail tag. Britney Spears merge might be another one. Britney Spears, funny mug might be another one. What's cool is that you can actually use the search bar to find examples of long tail tags that are already popular and are already working. So that's the best tip I ever got is that you don't have to reinvent the wheel when it comes to Etsy SEO, you can do those two tips, scrolling to the bottom of a listing to see what tags they used and using the search bar to see what terms are popular. Those two tips are instrumental and have been foundational to the way that I have made 350 sales on Etsy, I really recommend that you don't try to reinvent the wheel. You're not just guessing and pulling things from the air. They were actually doing research and finding out what are the long-tail tags, what are the focus keywords that will actually bring in people to my shop? 9. Best SEO Tool: All right, we're at the second to last slide here. What I really want to do is talk about marmalade. Now I'm not sponsored, this is not something that I'm being paid for. I'm just sharing a tool that has been really, really helpful for me. And it's called marmalade. And Marlene is specifically an SEO tool for Etsy. And I highly recommend that you google it. Essentially, you can integrate your store so that all of your listings come into marmalade. What it does is it gives you a letter grade for each of your listings. It might give you an a, B, C, D, or F. What's cool about it is it will actually break down what you're awake, what your strengths are and what your weaknesses are when it comes to SEO. Now it's not a free tool, but there are free trials out there. And I don't have a link to a free trial because I think you have to be a sponsor or you have to be a partner. And so what I recommend doing is googling marmalade free trial, and I'm sure one will come up for you. If not, I think it's $19 a month and I might recommend doing it for one month to see if your SEO is doing well, but it's really a great tool and it'll show you which areas you can improve in for SEO. It's really great if you're just trying to learn SEO. I wouldn't necessarily recommend it as something that you keep forever, but it's something that as you're learning the ins and outs of SEO, this is my best tip, is find a way to do marmalade for free and do it really quickly with your Etsy store. It's really, I hope in this class, I hope you've learned a lot about titles, tags, descriptions, and keywords, but it's also important to know what tools are available to you as you are building out your Etsy store and hoping to make more sales. So that's why I included marmalade here because I would love for you to go check it out, go look it up, and use that as a way to edit as an extension to this course because it can be really, really helpful. And it's something that really, as I was learning how to master SEO and maximize my Etsy SEO, it was instrumental as to how I was able to learn and how I was able to make adjustments as I went along my journey in SEO. 10. Next Steps For You: Okay, So we've gotten to the end of the class, like I mentioned, the number one thing I want you to take away from here is long-tail tags, titles, tags and descriptions and focus keywords. If you can remember those five things, you have made a lot of progress in learning about SEO, and I'm really excited for you. I think that it's really important as you're looking to make more sales and as you're looking to make sales specifically to strangers, that you understand how SEO works, how search engine optimization works on Etsy. Your assignment today, if you choose to accept it, is to put in the comments and put into the assignments section, what is the thing that you're most surprised to learn in this class?
