Part Two of "Negative Shape Note Cards" presents another way of defining negative and positive shapes by rendering with parallel ink lines. The sketches are then mounted onto handmade paper before mounting them onto 5" x 7" folded card stock. The completed note cards and their envelopes are tied together with fabric ribbon to create a beautiful presentation worthy of your special friends and loved ones.
The drawing technique of parallel lines is one I use often when travel sketching to indicate grayscale values of shapes.  The two bonus lessons, Tearing Handmade Paper and Tying Gorgeous Bows teach you how to present not only your note card sets, but any drawings and gifts in a professional and beautiful manner.
For all skill levels.  Challenge yourself according to your level of mastery.
