The only difference is that Skillshare gift memberships are for a fixed term (three, six, or 12 months according to what you purchase at checkout).

Upon redemption, your giftee unlocks unlimited access to Skillshare’s entire class catalog, so whether they are a beginner, seasoned, or simply curious creative, they can hop into a lesson that meets their level. That class catalog encompasses millions of hours of interactive lessons in everything from design to photography, branding, 3D design, marketing, freelancing, entrepreneurship, and more.

How Gift Memberships Work

Ready to get gifting? Buying a gift membership is easy, and you can send it to your recipient immediately or schedule ahead for their special day.

All you need to do is head here and choose the membership that’s right for you (you can select between three, six, and 12-month options).

From there, you’ll have the option to schedule or send immediately, and include a personalized note if you choose.

You’ll receive an email confirmation once your gift membership has been purchased. From there, you can print out their redemption code, or opt for your giftee to receive an email sharing their gift membership with instructions on how to redeem it. Once they redeem your gift, they’ll have unlimited access to Skillshare for the duration you selected.
