Earn Money With Skillshare

As a teacher on Skillshare, you have the opportunity to earn monthly revenue. Skillshare teachers regularly bring new, engaging content to our community of learners. We put together these FAQs to help you understand how it all works.

How do I get paid?

You’ll receive payment on the 16th of each month based on the minutes watched by students across all of your classes throughout the previous month. Your payment will come through your Paypal account, which you should set up through your Skillshare account settings as soon as you publish your first class.

How much will I make?

Average earnings per teacher are $3000/year. Your monthly share of the royalty pool will be calculated based on watch time in across all your classes throughout the previous month, measured in minutes. For example, if 5% of all video watch time on Skillshare happened in your classes, you would receive 5% of the royalty pool that month.

Every teacher has their own unique referral link. Share this link through social media to market your classes. For every student who signs up for a Membership through your link, we’ll add $10 to your next payment.

What is the teacher referral link?

For each class you publish, you'll receive a unique teacher referral link. Share this link through social media to market your class and drive enrollments. For every student who signs up for a Membership through your link and makes a first payment, we’ll add $10 to your next payment. You can find your referral link on the left toolbar when viewing your class through the Edit mode.
