Download TikTok Videos to Watch Whenever You Want
Wouldn’t it be great to be able to watch a few fun TikTok videos whenever you want, whether you have Wi-Fi or not? Download a few favorites and you can.
Chances are that if you’ve spent any time on TikTok, you’ve come across something that was so funny, bizarre, or helpful that you wanted to download it and save it for later—or send it on to your group text.
Unsure of how to download TikTok videos or if there’s some sort of TikTok video downloader you need? Based on the type of device you’re using, there are slightly different processes in terms of what to do.
In the App
If you’re trying to download TikTok videos within the app, it couldn’t be easier to have access to all your favorite clips.
Step 1: Click the Arrow Button
The next time you’re scrolling through your For You Page and see a video you’re dying to send to a friend or family member (or just save for later!), simply click the right arrow button in the bottom right corner of the screen.
Step 2: Share It or Save It
Take a look at the Share options. TikTokers can decide if they want to give users the ability to save a video or not, so if that’s an option on a public profile, you just need to click that button. Presto! The clip is saved to your phone.

Using a TikTok Downloader
If you want to download a TikTok video but don’t want it to include the signature app watermark (which is included in every downloaded clip), there are sites that can help you do it.
Step 1: Pick a Downloader
Type in the web address of the downloader you want to use, like sssTikTok or TikTok Downloader. Keep an eye out for sites that seem spammy and try to ask you for information before you can enter a TikTok URL.
Step 2: Add the TikTok Video URL
Copy and paste the URL of a TikTok video. The app will immediately start downloading if it’s publicly available to be saved.
On Mobile
If you want to save a video using your phone but don’t have direct access to TikTok’s app, you’ll follow a similar process of using a downloader meant for mobile.
Step 1: Pick an App
Download an app like SnapTik or use the internet function to head to any of the downloaders listed above.
Step 2: Add the TikTok Video URL
Follow the app’s instructions to copy and paste a TikTok URL and automatically download it if the user has set up the option for people to save it.
On PC/Mac
Strangely, while you can download a TikTok video from the platform’s mobile app, you can’t yet do the same on a PC or Mac desktop computer, even if you’re signed in. Luckily, those helpful downloaders work here too.
Step 1: Copy and Paste the URL
Use those sites like sssTikTok and TikTok Downloader to copy and paste the URL you want. They’ll automatically save your videos.
Step 2: Save It
Decide where on your desktop you’d like to store these videos, whether that’s in a specific folder or in the cloud.
It’s that simple!
Save Those Videos!
Overall, if your phone or computer has the storage, you should be able to download most TikTok videos and save them. Just be sure to keep an eye out for apps that may be spam if you’re using a downloader on the web. Other than that, you’re good to go!
