I am nowhere near finished with this course, but here is some of my work in progress. Thank you to Julia for this lovely course, which I will probably watch again and again, as I tackle drawing different subjects.

I'm trying to establish a sketching habit and improve my drawing. Nature is always the subject I'm inspired by most.

 

 

I like sketching, but I love working with colour, so I need to find a balance between working on my drawing  (which I want to improve!) and the watercolor painting that excites me most! I wonder how other people divide their time between learning and working on what they love most, any insights welcome!

The drawing above is done with colored pencil.

 

We are a few months further and I'd like to add some drawings. I drew a fish and some frogs :)

 

I think the fish needs some more contrast, but other than that, I like him.
