:) yeah that was fun, cool to be able to animate with css - but need that css power you mention, so much trial and error to get things working! i'm building a website for the first time in a decade (I'm a dinosaur :)) so looking to add some fun stuff in there with a sprinkling of animation - I'll share a link when it goes live. 

there's a nice looking tool for web animation just out of beta, have you heard about this: <a target="_blank" rel="external nofollow" href="https://spiritapp.io/">spiritapp.io/</a> ? mac only atm

Very cool (and advanced!) animation you've made! Thanks for sharing the link and that spiritapp looks interesting too. I'll look forward for the windows version.

should have tried something simpler for first animation - it's not as easy as After Effects! :D
